ABC announced in January 2025 that Alexe, 27, was one of the 25 contestants vying for the affection of Grant in his season of The Bachelor, which aired later that month. Alexe shared that she’s a pediatric speech therapist from New Brunswick, Canada, and “doesn’t do karaoke.” Grant, for his part, noted in his bio that he “can be found cheering on the Lakers, hitting strikes at the bowling alley, or belting out tunes at karaoke.”

Alexe seemingly made a memorable impression on Grant in the premiere episode of The Bachelor season 29. Footage from the first episode showed Alexe introducing herself to Grant with a llama in tow.

“So her name is Linda. My no drama llama,” Alexe explained to Grant, who replied, “And I’m a fan of no drama.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Mia Thornton is weighing in on Karen Huger’s guilty DUI verdict.

“Oh, my gosh. Listen, I always knew she was guilty,” Thornton, 40, said during the Sunday, January 26, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “Sorry, I did.”

Thornton noted that she’s “sad” that “it has rolled out the way that it has.” Host Andy Cohen, for his part, agreed with Thornton, adding, “Yes.”

“It’s very, very sad,” Thornton continued. “I really feel like if she would have just owned up to what she did, then we would not know.”

Karen Huger Told Police She Was 'Thomas Jefferson's Concubine' After Crash

In December 2024, Huger, 61, was convicted of DUI, negligent driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision and failure to notify authorities of an address change, per a report from Fox 5 DC. She was acquitted of one charge of reckless driving.

“Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,” Huger’s attorney A. Scott Bolden told People in a statement at the time. “We continue to reserve Mrs. Huger’s right to an appeal and intend to fully pursue justice on her behalf. We appreciate your support and prayers for Mrs. Huger and her family at this time.”

One month after the verdict, news broke on January 9 that Huger would be missing from the RHOP season 9 reunion to focus on her health.

“Karen made the important decision to enter a private recovery program, so was unable to attend the reunion taping today,” Huger’s manager, Ryan Tresdale, said in a statement to Bravo’s The Daily Dish at the time. “She was fully supported in this choice. We stand behind Karen as she embarks on this meaningful journey and are proud of her for taking such a significant step forward in her personal growth.”

Thornton, who Cohen pointed out had been “advocating” for Huger to go to rehab, said on Sunday that she’s “very happy” that her costar is now there. “I want her to get the help that she needs,” Thornton said.

Thornton claimed that she “would love” for Huger to come back to the Bravo series, noting that she “wouldn’t give her a hard time.” She added, “I actually wanted her to be transparent and tell us what she was going through so that we could be there for her.”

Billy Ray Cyrus Is 'Praying' for His Family Amid Ongoing Drama

Billy Ray Cyrus is sending a message amid the back-and-forth family drama surrounding his health.

“Sunday callin. Giving thanks for the California Rain,” Cyrus, 63, wrote via YouTube Shorts on Sunday, January 26. “Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family. For my children … sons and daughters…and their mother. Let this moment be the start of healing ❤️‍🩹 for us all. ‘The past does not equal the future.’ Amen 🙏🏼.”

Alongside the message, Cyrus shared a music video set to his tune “Somebody Said a Prayer.”

The upload came days after Billy Ray’s son Trace Cyrus alleged in a lengthy Instagram statement that the singer was “not healthy.” Billy Ray did not address Trace’s post at the time. (Billy Ray adopted Trace, 35, and his sister Brandi Cyrus after he married their mom, Tish Cyrus, in 1992. Tish, 57, and Billy Ray welcomed children Miley Cyrus, Braison Cyrus and Noah Cyrus before divorcing in 2022. Billy Ray also shares son Christopher Cyrus with ex Kristin Luckey.)

Braison, 30, later claimed that Billy Ray was both “healthy” and “happy” before sharing hours later that he would be producing his dad’s next album.

Seemingly in response to Braison’s claims, Trace suggested that neither Braison nor Billy Ray are doing well. “Birds of a feather, flock together,” Trace wrote via his Instagram Story. “This is what healthy looks like. Braison, I can help you too. Damn, man up boys.”

Trace went on to share another public message for Billy Ray. “Dad, my message was beyond loving. I could have been extremely honest about a lot more, but I don’t want to put your business out there like that,” Trace wrote via Instagram on Saturday, January 25. “But for you to threaten me with legal action for wanting you to get help is a disgrace. Pappy is looking down at you with such disappointment, I can assure you.”

Trace continued, “You should be ashamed of yourself. I will always love you, but I no longer respect you as a man. Everyone close to you is terrified to tell you how they really feel. I’m not. Get help.”

Trace Cyrus Claims Dad Billy Ray Is Seeking 'Legal Action' Over Health Plea

It is not clear what type of “legal action” Billy Ray was allegedly considering against Trace. Us Weekly reached out for comment at the time.

Trace claimed that he learned of the alleged legal threat from an unnamed “family member.”

“For all of you wondering, no, I still haven’t heard from my dad,” Trace claimed via his Instagram Story on Saturday. “He did contact a family member to let me know he’s taking legal action against me for encouraging him to get help.”

Trace, who shared that the “last good day” he had with Billy Ray was during a Father’s Day visit in 2022, added, “Dad, I live 30 minutes away from you. You could’ve just come and talked to me like a man.”

Bachelor Grant Ellis is not forgetting his roots while he looks for The One.

“They’re really supportive,” Grant exclusively told Us Weekly of his parents and sister ahead of the season 29 premiere in January 2025. “My family has been through a lot together, and it’s really crazy that we still support each other in the ways that we do, even though we’re all at different points of our life. So they supported me and I support them and we support each other — that’s the way that works.”

Bachelor Nation met Grant when he vied for the affections of Jenn Tran during The Bachelorette season 28, which aired in summer 2024. After Grant was sent packing, he expressed his desire to have a family of his own one day.

“It just sucks knowing that you feel some way about somebody and they don’t feel the same about you, you know? I want a family,” Grant said in a confessional at the time. “I want to be happy, I want a wife, I want to be in love. I want that, you know? I want to give everything to somebody, and I want them to give me everything in return.”

Following his elimination, Grant was announced as the lead of The Bachelor season 29.

Grant’s Dad

Grant opened up about his relationship with his father during a one-on-one with Jenn in an August 2024 episode.

“My father has been an addict for, like, 30 years. Addiction is a hard thing because, you know, growing up, my pops was everything, like, he was my superhero,” he said. “He used to take me to the park and he always used to be inebriated or, like, intoxicated under the substance. The worst thing is, I didn’t know.”

He continued, “When you’re a child, you believe everything and the one person I trusted most was always lying. So that was something. In my eyes, I’m like, ‘You’re a man. Why can’t you do what you have to do?’”

Before he went on The Bachelorette, Grant claimed that his dad had gotten fired from his job and had been “blaming everybody.”

“I was like, ‘Listen, Dad. I don’t f—— care,’” Grant recalled, noting that the pair spoke on the phone the next day — and he became the “proudest” he’s ever been of his dad.

“[He] checked into rehab, and ever since that, we had a talk and he was like, ‘Listen, son. This is the first time that you know the real me when I’m not intoxicated,’” Grant continued. “So I’m, like, really leaning into that. So now, he’s, like, a little under two months sober, so, you know, I hope he holds strong. And it’s his first time living, too.”

Grant got candid about his dad during an August 2024 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast, sharing that he loves his father “to death.”

“He did the best that he could,” Grant said. “It’s his first time living too, and he has his trauma and he just took a certain route and I don’t want him to ever think that I’m, like, bashing him or putting him out there, but you know, this is, it’s my life story.”

He noted that his relationship with his father is “great” now. “I’m super proud of him for the progress he’s made, where he’s come from and what he’s doing now. I just want him to know that he did a good job.”

Grant shared that he “didn’t always” have that perspective about his father. “Growing up, sometimes you may harbor resentment, but then when you’re in the position where you’re letting somebody down … then you realize that you could be trying your hardest and sometimes you’re gonna make mistakes.”

Grant continued, “Looking back at it, I can’t hold myself to a different standard than somebody that’s let me down. … So it’s like, I can’t really be mad at my pops for that, I gotta just kind of let that go and just roll with the punches and just try to help him along his journey.”

Grant’s Mom

After learning he was cast as the lead of The Bachelor, Grant called his mom. “I’m just calling to let you know I was selected to be the next Bachelor,” he said in an August 2024 promo video, while his mom gasped.

“No way! Are you kidding me? You’re kidding, tell me you’re kidding. I’m so excited! I’m so happy for you!” she replied, while Grant added, “Hopefully grandma and everyone watches the season with you.”

Grant revealed during an August 2024 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast that his mom signed him up for The Bachelorette.

“I remember she literally called me, I’m in the middle of my trading routine in the morning and she called me, she’s like, ‘Oh by the way I signed you up for Bachelorette so if you get a call, you know, make sure you answer,’” he recalled. “And I’m like, ‘Are you serious?’ So, they ended up calling me, and then, things just progressed.”

Grant has one sister, Taylor Ellis, who is a model. Taylor, who has appeared in Marie Claire magazine and In Style, also goes by “Loreal Ellis,” per her Instagram.

Grant made a brief comment about his sister during an August 2024 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “For a long time, me and my sister weren’t super tight,” Grant admitted.

Jason Tartick Calls Kat Stickler Split ‘Unexpected’: ‘Happened Quick’

Jason Tartick is finally opening up about his split from ex Kat Stickler.

“It was very real. It happened quick, it happened fast,” Tartick, 36, said on the Monday, January 27, episode of his “Trading Secrets” podcast of his and Stickler’s breakup. “It was unexpected and that was really, really hard.”

The former Bachelorette contestant, who announced in October 2024 that he and Stickler, 30, had called it quits, shared that the month “just before and after” the pair separated was “one of the hardest” of his life.

“It was so abrupt and it was so unexpected,” Tartick said. “Then, what I was hearing, these things I’m hearing publicly about speculation of what happened. I’m just sitting in my house, like, pulling my hair out. Like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me.’ That was, like, a really tough month. A really, really, really hard month.”

Jason Tartick: It Gets ‘Better’ Every Day After 'Hard' Kat Stickler Split

Tartick, who noted that he’s now been in two public breakups, said that fans immediately “want to know why and they want to point the finger,” adding that people “want to take sides and pin the people against each other.” (Tartick was previously engaged to Kaitlyn Bristowe. The duo shared in August 2023 that they went their separate ways.)

“Everyone goes through breakups,” Tartick said. “It is what it is and breakups happen. This is why you date. If you have a sudden change of heart, she’s not to blame for that. That’s OK.”

He continued, “It’s really no one’s business what happened, but I will say, I’ve just seen every rumor out there and none of them are accurate. You put a gun to my head and I would never, ever be disloyal to her. I have a ton of respect and care for her.”

Tartick, who currently resides in Tennessee, shared that he was willing to relocate for Stickler, who’s based in Florida. “I was going to go to Tampa, and that no longer became a reality,” he said.

Elsewhere in the episode, Tartick recalled his 2024 New Year’s resolution for himself was to have “much more responsibility” in his life with a partner and children. While reflecting on his wish, Tartick nearly became emotional as he realized the desire almost came true. (Kat is mom to 5-year-old daughter MK, with whom she welcomed with ex-husband Mike Stickler.)

“That synopsis, it made my heart drop into my stomach. It’s a little sad, honestly. Because all of those things I wanted were on the trajectory of happening and then it all went away,” Tartick said, snapping his fingers for emphasis. “All the things I predicted, happened and were on the path to be. Now as we look in January, I’m right back where I started. I almost shed a tear, honestly. It was, like, sad hearing that back.”

As he navigates life post-split, Tartick said he’s slowly dipping his toe into the dating pool. When asked whether he was going on dates, Tartick simply replied, “yeah,” but added that he’s “not on dating apps or anything.”

When cohost David Arduin asked “what would be the one thing that you would give up in your career or in your lifestyle to find your wife and settle down,” Tartick laughed. “Everything,” he replied. “I would give it all up. I would leave it all. If you told me I had my family tomorrow, I’m done, I’m good.”

Jason Tartick and Girlfriend Kat Stickler 'Amicably' Split After 6 Months

As he rings in the New Year, Tartick shared that he “would love” to add a furry friend to his family after claiming he wasn’t able to “say goodbye” to his and Bristowe’s dogs when she became the sole owner of the pets. (Bristowe, 39, shared during a September 2024 episode of her “Off the Vine” podcast that she and Tartick had reached the end of their shared dog custody agreement.)

When Arduin inquired about the last time he was able to see the dogs, Tartick asked his cohost when he thought it was. “I don’t know exactly, but my guess would be when your last relationship started,” Arduin said, which Tartick confirmed.

“I was supposed to see them twice in June, and I wasn’t allowed to,” Tartick claimed. “Then I engaged several pet experts, one being their vet, attorneys, a therapist, and the best decision for the dogs based on messages I received, was to put them in a place, to keep them where they are at. It’s been a long grieving process of the dogs. I haven’t seen them since the end of May. I won’t see them again.”

Despite navigating the ups and downs in 2024, Tartick shared that he’s “the happiest I’ve ever been.”

“Last couple years has been a roller coaster. I’ve learned a lot, grown a lot, grieved a lot,” he said. “Especially last year. I lost a lot last year. I gained a lot, too. I’m excited about 2025.”

Jason Kelce Calls Eagles ‘Ridiculously Good’ After NFC Championship Win

Jason Kelce Calls Philadelphia Eagles ‘Ridiculously Good’ After Winning NFC Championship
Jason Kelce Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is celebrating the NFL team’s NFC Championship win.

“Well that was fun, these dudes are ridiculously good!” Kelce, 37, wrote via X on Sunday, January 26. “GO F——- BIRDS!!”

Kelce’s shoutout came minutes after the Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders and advanced to the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9. The Eagles will face off against the winner of Jason’s brother Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. If the Chiefs defeat the Bills on Sunday, the NFL team will have the opportunity to become the first in history to win three consecutive Super Bowls. (The Chiefs won back-to-back Super Bowls in 2023 and 2024.)

Ahead of the matchups on Sunday, Jason admitted he was struggling to decide which NFL conference championship to attend — AFC or NFC.

Jason Kelce Is 'Still' Figuring Out How to Attend Both NFC, AFC Title Games

“This is something that I’m still trying to figure out,” Jason said on the Saturday, January 26, episode of ESPN’s They Call It Late Night. “I’m working [for ESPN] at the tailgate for the Birds game, which I’m excited about. Initially, they were gonna make me go up to Bristol, but then they were like, ‘Do you just want to stay down there and be a reporter on the scene?’ I’m really fired up to be there.”

Jason, who played for the Eagles from 2011 until his retirement in 2024, said he wanted to attend his former team’s game but was “kind of torn.”

“I want to be there for the Eagles, but I also want to be there for my brother,” Jason explained. “I don’t know how many more he has. We’re flying by the seat of our pants!”

Jason shared that he might “be able to see both” depending on travel plans. Travis, for his part, has faced retirement speculation for the 2024-25 season but has continued to shut down the idea.

Jason Kelce Still Doesn't Know ‘What's Going to Happen’ With His NFL Future

One day before Travis, 35, took the field for the AFC Championship game, he told reporters that he “laughs at” concerns that he’s showing his age. “As long as I’m going out there and we’re winning, baby, that’s all that matters,” the Chiefs tight end said during a press conference on Saturday, January 25.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes weighed in on the idea that the game on Sunday could be Travis’ last at Arrowhead Stadium.

“I have no idea. He hasn’t said anything to me if he’s thinking that,” Mahomes, 29, said Tuesday, January 21, on Kansas City’s 96.5 The Fan. “I know he signed a two-year extension before the season. It seems like he still loves football. But he also has a great life, as well.”

Mahomes continued, “Either way, I just appreciate every time I step onto the field with that guy knowing that he’s a true legend of not only the Chiefs, but of the NFL. If it is his last game, let’s go out there and get him a win. If it’s not his last game, let’s go out and get him a win anyway.”

Taylor Swift Brings Family to Cheer on Travis Kelce at AFC Championship

Taylor Swift made boyfriend Travis Kelce’s AFC Championship game a family affair.

Swift, 35, stepped out at the Sunday, January 26, Kansas City Chiefs versus Buffalo Bills game with mom Andrea, dad Scott and brother Austin in tow. The family was seen arriving in a golf cart ahead of the matchup at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Eras Tour performer showed her support for the Chiefs by rocking an oversized Louis Vuitton sweatshirt over a black miniskirt and red tights.

The winner of the Chiefs versus Bills game will advance to the Super Bowl LIX at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on February 9, to play against the Philadelphia Eagles, who defeated the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship game hours earlier. If the Chiefs advance, they have a shot at becoming the first NFL franchise to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles.

Ahead of the game, Kelce, 35, told reporters that he “laughs at” the idea that he’s showing his age on the football field. “As long as I’m going out there and we’re winning, baby, that’s all that matters,” Kelce said during the press conference ahead on Saturday, January 25.

As Kelce and the Chiefs have made their run for the Super Bowl, Swift has been in the crowd cheering him on. Swift attended the Chiefs game on January 18 alongside her family and WNBA star Caitlin Clark, watching from a private suite. After Kelce scored a touchdown, Swift was spotted celebrating by hitting her hand on the glass window of the suite and bobbing her head.

When Swift publicly spoke out about her relationship with Kelce in December 2023, she opened up about the pair’s decision not to hide their romance. (The NFL star, who began dating Swift in summer 2023, has supported her at several of her Eras Tour performances.)

Taylor Swift's Family Is Decked Out in Chiefs Gear for Travis Kelce's Game

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift told TIME for her 2023 Person of the Year profile. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Swift noted that she didn’t want to take away from Kelce’s spotlight when she attends his NFL games. “I’m just there to support Travis,” she said at the time. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”

Bradley Cooper Brings Daughter Lea to Eagles' NFC Championship Game

Bradley Cooper brought his daughter as his cheering squad while rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles at the NFC Championship.

Cooper, 50, walked hand-in-hand with his 7-year-old daughter, Lea, as they stepped out at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sunday, January 26. In a video shared via the NFL’s official Instagram account, Cooper gave a thumbs-up to the crowd and waved as the audience erupted into cheers.

“Bradley Cooper in the house to watch his birds,” text over the video read, while the NFL wrote in the caption, “Lifelong Eagles fan.”

Cooper and Lea were both decked out in Eagles merchandise, with him sporting a green hat and her rocking a green and white varsity jacket. (Cooper shares his daughter with ex Irina Shayk.)

Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid Cheer on Philadelphia Eagles at NFL Playoffs

The Eagles took on the Washington Commanders on Sunday for a spot in the 2025 Super Bowl, while the Kansas City Chiefs prepared to face off against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship hours later. The winners of both games will compete in the Super Bowl at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on February 9.

Cooper was spotted one week earlier at the NFL team’s game against the Los Angeles Rams in Philadelphia with his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. The pair were seen screaming in excitement as they rooted for the home team.

Cooper, a longtime Eagles fan, was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and famously played Pat Solitano in 2012’s Silver Linings Playbook. (Cooper earned an Oscar nomination for his role.)

Hadid’s mom, meanwhile, owns a farm in Pennsylvania. (Us Weekly confirmed in December 2023 that Cooper purchased a home close to the farm, but an insider said that his purchase “has nothing to do with Gigi or her family.”)

Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid’s Relationship Timeline

Cooper and Hadid sparked romance rumors in October 2023 after they were photographed together in New York City. A source exclusively told Us at the time that Cooper and Hadid “have a lot in common” including being single parents. (Hadid is mom to daughter Khai, 4, with whom she welcomed with Zayn Malik.)

Cooper and Hadid have since made several appearances together, including traveling for pal Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in May 2024. After Cooper was absent from the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in October 2024, Hadid made a rare comment about their relationship.

“He’s watching from home tonight,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “He is on dad duty.”

Justin Baldoni’s sister is singing his praises amid his ongoing legal drama with his It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively.

“Happy birthday JB, I love you and I celebrate you – the man you are, the love you embody, the strength of your connection to God, the essence of your being, your dedication to truth, to service and to love – today and all days,” Baldoni’s sister, Sara, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, January 25. “I am so proud to call you my big brother and annoyingly squeeze the hell out of you until the end of time. Xx.”

Alongside the message, Sara shared a snap of her and Baldoni, 41, sweetly embracing as they smiled for the camera.

Sara’s upload comes one day after his mom, Sharon, celebrated him while sharing set photos from his time on Jane The Virgin. (Baldoni starred as Rafael in the CW drama, which aired for five seasons from 2014 to 2019.)

Justin Baldoni’s Mom Tells Him to ‘Keep Your Integrity' Amid Legal Battle

“Happy Birthday Justin ~ remembering a wonderful moment after the final ending of Jane The Virgin,” Sharon wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 24. “[It was] a moment where joy and love permeated the set, where friendships and family were born and kindness and integrity permeated the hearts of all the actors and crew, where sadness only entered because it was the final scene of a wonderful journey ~ and the beginning of the rest of our lives.”

Sharon noted that the 2019 series finale of Jane The Virgin was marked by a “happy, loving and generous memory with hearts exploding with possibilities.”

“Life has its moments and also its surprises — as you keep your integrity through it all justice and truth will shine today and into eternity,” Sharon concluded. “I love you more than you will ever know! Happy Birthday, my beautiful boy! May God continue to bless you in truth.”

The tributes come amid Baldoni’s public legal battle against Lively. Months after speculation swirled of a rift between the pair on the set of It Ends With Us, Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment in December 2024. He denied the allegations and fired back with his own $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as well as her publicist, Leslie Sloane.

Amid the ongoing drama, Baldoni has been spending time with his family. “We’re grateful to be with the family, man,” he told photographers on January 17 in footage obtained by TMZ. “We have amazing friends and family and faith.”

Idris Elba is recalling how he prepared to play Nelson Mandela in the 2013 film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.

“In 2013, when I was preparing to play Nelson Mandela in the film Long Walk to Freedom, I spent the night in a prison cell on Robben Island, 12 km outside Cape Town, where Mandela was imprisoned from 1964 to 1982,” Elba, 52, wrote in a Sunday, January 26, article for The Sunday Times.

He continued, “I’d been given the incredible honour to portray this great man and up until that night, I hadn’t quite grasped the significance of having over 20 years of life stolen from him. I had to persuade the authorities to let me stay there, and they finally agreed.”

Elba explained that the place “holds a lot of bad memories” and is “definitely haunted,” adding that he “heard strange noises throughout the night” even though he was “the only person there.”

Idris Elba Reveals He Was Once Kicked Out of Robert De Niro's Office

“I had a bucket, a thin mattress and a blanket; they kept the lights on because that’s what they used to do and I didn’t sleep much,” Elba recalled. “It was a scary experience, but it definitely gave me a stronger connection to Mandela.”

The biopic chronicled Mandela’s life journey, including spending 27 years in prison before serving as the first Black president of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.

Mandela died in 2013 at the age of 95. The news of his death was formally announced when the credits rolled during the London premiere of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. The entire auditorium held a two-minute moment of silence at the end of the film. After the screening, the audience applauded and gave a standing ovation.

When the movie was released in 2013, Elba recalled being nervous to show the film to a South African audience.

Idris Elba Says He’s Been in Therapy for a Year Due to ‘Unhealthy Habits’

“In South Africa, they were very silent and I wondered what that was about,” he recalled, per Variety. “I thought maybe they didn’t like it, but they were just absorbing. You’ve got to remember, the whole freedom struggle in South Africa is about 25 years old. When we got there, the reaction was real.”

Producer Anant Singh also showed a scene of the movie to Mandela and shared his reaction to seeing Elba. “He saw Idris Elba as the old Mandela in the Mandela prosthetics and he says, ‘Is that me?’” he said, per the outlet. “And it was very cute and he smiled and laughed, so it was very good.”

Jonathon Johnson Knows What He’s Looking for on ‘BiP’ But Won’t Send DMs

Jonathon Johnson may have an idea of what he’s looking for on Bachelor in Paradise, but he’s keeping his options open.

When asked on the Saturday, January 25, episode of the “Lightweights” podcast whether he was hoping for anyone in particular to be on the beaches of Mexico, Johnson, 28, simply replied “No.”

“There’s a reason for that,” Johnson said. “I know in the past it’s gotten people in trouble for DMing people, talking to people. I want no bad blood, I want no animosity hanging over my shoulders. I don’t want any pressure to be placed upon me before I can do it myself.”

Johnson shared that he hoped to enter the spinoff show with a “clean slate and an open mind,” adding his mindset would be “whoever is here, is here.”

Bachelorette’s Jonathon Feels Like a ‘Part’ of Jenn’s Journey on ‘DWTS’

“If somebody’s excited to meet me, maybe they have said it, awesome. I would be more than happy to talk to them,” Johnson said. “I just want to go in open-minded and meet somebody, just clear slate.”

Johnson continued, “Obviously I’m sure I will have heard of whoever it is but I don’t want to dig too deep, message them, find out everything that I think I know ahead of time and come in with a preconceived idea. I want to come in and just be like, ‘Who are you?’”

In Johnson’s perspective, what he was looking for on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette will differ from what he’s searching for on Bachelor in Paradise. (Tran, 27, ultimately got engaged to Devin Strader during the season finale, but revealed during the live After the Final Rose special that they called it quits.)

“I’ve done a lot of growing up since then in what I want and what I need,” Johnson explained. “I think in this world, a lot of people get lost in the sauce a little bit or drink the Kool-Aid, whatever you want to say. I want somebody who this life and this energy doesn’t affect. Like, I want them to be on it because it’s a fun, cool, experience but like is just a very real person and doesn’t take life too serious because I don’t. I want somebody I can live that kind of lifestyle with.”

Bachelorette's Jonathon Says He Knew Jenn Was Going to Send Him Home

For now, Johnson said he’s trying not to think about Bachelor in Paradise. “It’s hard to get excited about that because it’s going to make that time until then feel so much longer if I keep thinking about it all the time. Like, ‘Oh, I can’t wait until June or July or whenever it is.’”

Johnson explained that he’s still pursuing dating until he leaves for Bachelor in Paradise — unless a special someone comes his way.

“I tell whoever it might be like, ‘Hey this is my plan, like, I’ve already said yes I do plan on going on this show. But if something feels absolutely right, I’m not going to shy that away. I’m not going to just give up on my life because this [is] a show right in front of me,’” Johnson said. “But I let them know that that is my original plan so they can choose whether to keep pursuing it or not.”

Johnson noted that he has a “fear” that someone may just see him as a “commodity” on the show and not get to know the real him.

“Is somebody gonna see me as, like, just a commodity or are they gonna be like, ‘Hey I want to know who you for who you are,’” Johnson said. “Somebody could be like, ‘Oh I want to date him because he is, like, a commodity potentially.’ I don’t see myself in that way, I just see myself as, like, a normal guy just on the dating show for fun and just looking for love.”

Jennifer Lopez delivered a surprise performance at the 2025 Sundance Music Festival.

While Lopez, 55, was at the Saturday, January 25, Casamigos at TAO Park City event, the DJ played 2002’s “Jenny from the Block” for the crowd — which prompted the singer to hop up on stage. Lopez, who was said to be in “good spirits,” gave a 10-minute performance including her hit 2002 track “All I Have.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lopez was seen with Unstoppable costar Jharrel Jerome and Kiss of the Spider Woman costar Tonatiuh. Other attendees at the two-night event included Post Malone, Niecy Nash-Betts, Jon Hamm, Zac Braff, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Harry Jowsey and more.

Lopez, who’s starring in the 2025 film Kiss of the Spider Woman, attended the event for the Sunday, January 26, premiere of the film. The movie musical was produced by Lopez’s ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and his pal Matt Damon.

The appearance comes less than one month after Lopez and Affleck, 52, settled their divorce on January 6, per documents obtained by Us Weekly. In the wake of the divorce settlement, a source exclusively told Us that Lopez is “enjoying being single and is feeling herself.” The insider added that Lopez has no regrets.

“She was very in love with Ben, but love isn’t enough sometimes,” the source shared. “Things worked out for the best and how they were supposed to.”

Lopez, who shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, is “having fun” while she’s “working on some big movie projects and enjoying showing how amazing she looks.” (Affleck, for his part, shares Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.)

Before the pair formally split, Lopez and Affleck also collaborated on the movie Unstoppable. Lopez starred in the film while Affleck produced the movie through his and Damon’s production company, Artists Equity.

The premiere for the movie was scheduled to take place on January 7, but was ultimately canceled due to the Los Angeles wildfires that began earlier this month.

“As much as we were looking forward to celebrating this wonderful and inspiring film with you, safety is our first priority,” a rep for Amazon said in a statement to Us on at the time. “We encourage everyone to watch Unstoppable on Prime Video, which will be available globally on January 16. Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe.”

Brooks Nader is recalling an awkward moment with her dad while trying her hand at a viral TikTok trend.

“‘You’re so funny!’ Thanks, when I was 16 my Dad snatched my unlocked phone out [of] my hands while I was sending dirty pics and locked himself in his truck and read with horror while I tried to break his car window with a bat!!!!!” Nader, 28, wrote over a Saturday, January 25, TikTok post.

Nader captioned the upload, “Needless to say I was grounded for approx 2 years!!!!”

In the comments section of Nader’s post, sister Sarah Jane wrote, “Even I have PTSD from this one.” When a user claimed they would “actually pass out” if this happened to them, Nader replied, “Oh I did, after reading the texts aloud.”

DWTS’ Gleb Savchenko’s Daughter Reacts to Video of Dad and Brooks Nader

Years after the incident with her dad, Nader went on to tie the knot with Billy Haire in 2019. After four years of marriage, Nader confirmed the pair split. In May 2024, a representative for the model said the couple were “divorcing after living apart for months,” and added, “The split is amicable.”

Months later, Nader was announced as a cast member of Dancing With the Stars season 33, where she was partnered with pro Gleb Savchenko.

“We have a good energy. Like, I think we got good vibes. I mean, it’s nice to be in the room for five hours a day with someone that you get along with,” Savchenko exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2024. “And also, you know, looking like that. She’s hot.”

Us broke the news while the show was airing that Savchenko and Nader were “hooking up.” Days later, the twosome made headlines when they revealed they got matching tattoos. After their elimination, Savchenko and Nader split — but went on to rekindle their romance. Before confirming the news, Nader played coy to Us.

Gleb Savchenko and Brooks Nader’s Relationship Timeline

“I don’t know what to say about that,” she exclusively told Us in December 2024. “I don’t even know what’s going on. I know I am confusing people, but I am confusing myself. I am loving life.”

Hours later, Savchenko confirmed the news to TMZ and gushed that he and Nader “are together.” When asked whether their romance was a “showmance,” Savchenko denied the idea.

“Of course it’s real. Everything is real,” he said. “We’re not playing. We’re not playing games.”

As the pair have continued to give glimpses of their relationship, Savchenko hinted that he’s ready to take the next step with Nader.

While sharing a video sitting with DWTS pros Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach’s 20-month-old daughter, Nikita, Savchenko said that he’s open to expanding his family. (Savchenko is a dad to daughters Olivia, 13, and Zlata, 7, whom he welcomed with ex-wife Elena Samodanova.)

“I think I’m ready for a 3rd one,” Savchenko wrote via his Instagram Story on January 6, tagging Nader.

Hugh Jackman Jokes He’s Working on Skipping After NYC Performance Mishap

Hugh Jackman is showing off his skipping skills after a performance mishap during his Radio City Music Hall Show From New York, With Love.

In an Instagram video shared on Sunday, January 26, Jackman concentrated on his jump rope ability as he moved from side to side and crossed his arms while skipping. Jackman, who rocked a tank top and shorts in the clip, smiled after he completed the task in the middle of the gym.

“So here’s the thing … my trainer Beth Lewis and I worked for months and months to get me remotely close to being ready to do this jump rope choreo on stage,” Jackman captioned the post. “She has the patience of a saint!!! And while I still messed up, I had a blast. And get to do it again 21 more times! Thank you @bethlewisfit #fromnewyorkwithlove @radiocitymusichall.”

Jackman debuted his moves during night one of his From New York, with Love at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Friday, January 24. The show was reportedly attended by his girlfriend, Sutton Foster, and Jackman’s pals, Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy.

Reynolds, who made a surprise appearance in the crowd for a “Hugh & A” session, gushed over his pal.

“Just like here, he knew every single person’s name, even though he was making them up half the time,” Reynolds, 48, told the crowd. “He showed a kind of courtesy and gentleness and curiosity, and he put value into every single crew member that we were working with.”

Reynolds called Jackman his “gotcha for life,” even though, he said, “I’m his second-best friend.”

Reynolds joked that “we were supposed to finish this bit where these two security gentlemen come and they try to take the mic [from] me — it’s like a struggle, and then they tase me and I go down, and then they hog-tie me and then they put me in the Radio City music garbage dump, and then they just light it on fire.”

He continued, “I wanted to actually just say, I love this man, I care about this man. He is, he is genuinely the best human being I know. And I have 4 children!” (Reynolds shares four kids with his wife, Blake Lively.)

Jackman appreciated the gesture. “I love you, Ryan Reynolds, I love you, man,” Jackman replied, joking that Reynolds was his fifth best friend. “Thanks for coming. And thanks for asking for a free ticket, too.”

After the show, Jackman took to Instagram to reflect on the milestone moment. “What an incredible night it was. We opened our show at the @radiocitymusichall. It had all the feels. The love, the glitches, the sweat, the tears, the laughter and, and, and,” Jackman wrote. “The love emanating from the audience was enormous. We all felt it. And the icing is we get to keep the party going 23 more times. Thank you to the cast and crew for your tireless efforts and talent. Both photos, please credit: @kevinmazur #fromnewyorkwithlove.”

Dave Coulier’s wife, Melissa Bring, is providing an update on his health amid his cancer diagnosis.

“He has some really tough days, and as the chemo has been accumulating it gets a little tougher and more difficult,” Bring said during an interview with WXYZ published on Thursday, January 23.

Bring shared that Coulier’s humor has carried him through the harder days. “He has such a positive attitude, and you need that in order to really fight it,” she said. “Every morning, if he’s feeling up for it, we try to put on a song and do a little dance party with the dogs, because when you do feel good, you have to celebrate that too.”

While sharing that “everyone is really rallying around all of us,” Bring explained that she thinks Coulier’s strength is “just innately in him.”

Dave Coulier Gives Candid Cancer Update: ‘In Fight or Flight Mode’

“He has had a lot of loss in his life when it comes to having to deal with cancer. He lost his mother, his sister, his niece. His other sister had it,” she said. “I think for him, he takes every stride and really pulls strength from seeing the women that were so close in his life to powering through it, and he just wants to honor them,” she said.

The Full House alum told People in November 2024 that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Coulier, 65, explained that he had received his diagnosis the month before after an upper respiratory infection resulted in severe swelling of his lymph nodes. Coulier underwent PET and CT scans and a biopsy after one area grew to the size of a golf ball.

“Three days later, my doctors called me back and they said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and it’s called B cell and it’s very aggressive,’” he told the outlet. “I went from, I got a little bit of a head cold to I have cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming. This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.”

Coulier shared that Bring, whom he wed in 2014, advised friends of theirs in the medical field and worked to create “a very specific plan for how they were going to treat this.” Coulier claimed that his recovery rate “went from something low to [the] 90 percent range” after a bone marrow test came back negative.

Coulier shared during an appearance on Today in November 2023 that he’s had “three surgeries” and if his treatment goes as planned, he would be in “total remission” by the time he completes chemotherapy in February.

JoJo Was ‘Cussed Out in the Street by an Ex’ After Releasing Memoir

Joanna “JoJo” Levesque does not have any “regrets” after releasing her tell-all memoir, Over the Influence.

“I did get cussed out in the street by an ex,” JoJo, 34, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting her new EP, NGL. “He didn’t like the way that I … I don’t know. We didn’t even talk about it.”

While JoJo did not name the ex she was referring to, she noted that it was “weird” to have a “man in his 40s telling me to F off.” JoJo quipped, “But you know what? We’re all on our own journey.”

JoJo explained that she had sent her former flame the manuscript for her book. “He told me to F off. And I was like, ‘Dang. That’s crazy,’” she recalled. “But I still said what I said, and I had to accept that not everybody was going to be happy about it.”

In Over the Influence, which was released in September 2024, JoJo recalled her unhealthy relationship with sex, drugs and alcohol. JoJo candidly shared details of her love life — including that she lost her virginity at age 14 to 16-year-old soccer player Freddy Adu.

After having an affair with Adu’s friend, JoJo said she stayed abstinent for a year before moving on with an unnamed person whom she referred to as “my man” in the memoir. JoJo claimed that her mystery man proposed to her on her birthday in December 2021, but the relationship unraveled afterwards. (While she did not refer to him by name, JoJo previously got engaged to actor Dexter Darden in 2021.)

“It is my story. Look, if I had written it a year from now or five years from now, I would tell different stories probably in a different way,” JoJo told Us. “But this is what the story was.”

Many of the themes in Over the Influence are mirrored in JoJo’s new EP, NGL. While reflecting on her EP release, JoJo said she “can’t believe” it’s been four years since the drop of her last album.

“This album was so about being single and moving to a new city and feeling strong and really feeling more comfortable and confident in my own skin than I ever had before,” she told Us. “Just having fun, not taking things as seriously as I’ve taken them before. It’s not life or death. There’s serious things going on in the world and music does not need to be one of them for me right now.”

Why Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar ‘Backed Out’ of Wedding Contract

Zach Shallcross Clarifies Why He and Kaity Biggar Backed Out of Wedding Contract

Former Bachelor Zach Shallcross is setting the record straight about why he and his fiancée, Kaity Biggar, decided to get out of their wedding contract.

“We had been planning or talking about wanting to plan our wedding, figure out a date, figure out a venue, what do we like, what we don’t like,” Shallcross, 28, said on the Thursday, January 23, episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast.

Shallcross explained that he and Biggar met with one of their “good friends” who is a wedding planner to talk details.

“Credit to our wedding planner, she took it and started to run with it and started just booking us at all these places,” Shallcross said. “And we’re like, ‘Oh, wow, this is happening really quick.’”

Where Are Bachelor's Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar Getting Married?

When their wedding planner said the couple would have to “go a lot over” their budget for their ideal venue, Shallcross and Biggar, who want to prioritize buying a house, took a pause.

“We pondered on it for a week and we’re like, ‘[It] does not feel good to just go so into this venue when we’ve already established what our priorities are,’ which is buying a house and not a down payment for one day,” Shallcross said. “So we backed out of the contract. Not saying we’re done with wedding planning. We’ve actually gone further in other areas, but we just couldn’t do that. I don’t know, like it’s so crazy nowadays.”

Bachelor Nation first met Shallcross during Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s season 19 of The Bachelorette, where he went home after making it to the fantasy suites with Recchia.

Shallcross was ultimately crowned the next lead of the franchise in September 2022, where he met Biggar. Shallcross popped the question to Biggar in The Bachelor season 27 finale. During the live After the Final Rose episode, the couple revealed they planned to move in together in Austin, Texas, and were hoping to walk down the aisle in 2025.

Now, Shallcross gushed that he would tie the knot with Biggar tomorrow if he could before the former Bachelor revealed that he and Biggar had plans to make things official soon.

“We’re planning to get eloped very soon, like very soon, and then we’ll figure out like celebration and all that, like the glitz and the glamour,” he shared. “It’s not a matter of when, it’s like the other stuff and like wanting to have all the family from all over come for it.”

Clayton Echard Reacts to Ex Susie Evans’ Comments About His Character

Former Bachelor Clayton Echard is weighing in on Susie Evans’ comments about his character.

While discussing his paternity scandal on the Wednesday, January 22, episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast, cohost Ben Higgins read Echard, 31, a quote that Evans, also 31, said amid his trial. (After a woman claimed Echard was the father of her twins, a court ultimately sided with him in July 2024.)

“I wanna hear what you think of it. I want you to break it down for us,” Higgins, 35, said.. “She said, ‘Listen, Clayton might be a lot of things, but he’s not a liar. And that meant a lot to me.’” (Evans spoke out publicly in support of Echard on the “Viall Files” podcast in November 2023.)

After Higgins asked for his thoughts on the remark, Echard laughed. “Oh, Susie,” Echard said. “You know, I’m gonna hold off on that.”

Susie Evans Was 'Pissed' for Ex Clayton Echard During Paternity Case

Echard, however, continued to share his thoughts. “I think that there were reasons why [she] and I broke up and there was equal, you know, there’s no blame to be dispersed out, but there’s reasons why it didn’t work from my point of view with the way that she acted and vice versa,” Echard said. “I haven’t really been in agreeance with a few of the times that she’s made small comments that carry a lot more weight. I think that that direct quote was one of them. So, I wish Susie the best.”

Echard admitted that he didn’t think Evans’ comment was “necessary in the way it was framed.”

“I also don’t think a few other things she said at some points, it felt like she was trying to make it seem like I was the whole reason that the relationship didn’t work,” he said. “That’s the way I would perceive it. I don’t know if she meant that or not but of course, if you’re bringing this up as a quote, you got to wonder why [it was] said that way. You could have just said, ‘Clayton’s not a liar.’ Why did you say, ‘He might be many things?’ So I haven’t been in favor and I’ve told her that.”

Echard claimed Evans is “aware” of “some of the ways” that she has phrased things, but noted “it is what it is.”

Clayton Echard and Ex Susie Evans Reflect on Past Cheating Accusations

“She can respond to that accordingly [as to] what she meant,” Echard said. “I never got an answer as far as what that meant myself, but I just moved on from it, let it go. We’re not perfect and at some points we all say things that in hindsight we probably shouldn’t have said, so I can forgive her for that if there was a need for it.”

After Evans sent herself home on The Bachelor season 26, Echard continued to pursue a relationship with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia before calling it quits with both of them. It was revealed on the live After the Final Rose special that Evans and Echard rekindled their romance. The pair ultimately split for good in 2022.

Evans went on to pursue a relationship with former The Bachelorette contestant Justin Glaze. Less than a year after confirming their romance, Glaze shared in August 2024 that he and Evans had gone their separate ways.

While reflecting on Evans’ romance with Glaze, Echard shared that it didn’t bother him to see his ex move on with someone.

“I didn’t really feel any type of way about it,” he said. “When Susie and I broke up, we knew it was never going to ever be a thing again. … We were important in each other’s life to help each other get through a traumatic time, and she helped me grow as a person. But ultimately, like after we had those breakup conversations, and after the feeling subsided, it became very much just like, hey, you know what, we weren’t meant to be each other’s forever person.”

He continued, “So I knew that that day would come whenever she would date somebody new, and so when I saw it, it was like, yeah, I mean this day was coming. It was inevitable, and I didn’t really feel any type of way about it. I was like, ‘OK, good for her.’”

Amy Robach Got ‘Clarity’ to End Her Marriage After a Solo Trip

Amy Robach is recalling hitting a turning point in her marriage while on a work trip by herself.

“I was alone in this mansion that I had been put up in and no one else ended up staying there in the Seychelles with the Indian Ocean pounding below me, and I just thought, ‘Alone for three weeks? What?’” Robach, 51, said on the Thursday, January 23, episode of the “I Do, Part 2” podcast.

Robach’s boyfriend and cohost, T.J. Holmes, interjected to share what his mindset would have been if he were in the situation. “I would have gone, ‘Wow. This is awesome. I have this,’” Holmes, 47, said.

But for Robach, the moment led her to end her marriage. “The truth is I was married at the time, and those weeks gave me clarity of what I knew I wanted to do, which was [to] end my marriage,” she explained.

Amy Robach Would Post Photos to Pretend Andrew Shue Marriage Was Fine

Robach, who was previously married to Tim McIntosh from 1996 to 2009 and Andrew Shue from 2010 to 2023, did not name the ex-husband she was referring to.

While Robach was legally married to Shue, 57, she and fellow Good Morning America anchor Holmes sparked romance speculation in November 2022 when they were spotted getting cozy outside the office. At the time, Holmes was married to Marilee Fiebig. (Robach and Shue share daughters Ava and Annalise while Holmes and Fiebig, 47, are parents to daughter Sabine. Holmes also shares daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with ex-wife Amy Ferson.)

Following news of their affair, Robach and Holmes exited GMA3: What You Need to Know in 2023. Robach and Holmes both filed for divorce and have since claimed that their respective marriages were over before their relationship turned romantic. Shue and Fiebig, for their part, also began dating in late 2023.

While the “next step” in Robach and Holmes’ relationship would be to tie the knot, a source exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2024 that the pair are not in a rush to walk down the aisle. The insider added that Robach “feels the way it will last is if they put healthy boundaries and communication in place.”

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Are in a 'Good Place,' Want to Get Engaged

“Amy would like to work on their communication skills,” the source shared. “She believes it’s the secret to a healthy and lasting relationship.”

Robach and Holmes have been candid about their desire to exchange vows. While they have yet to get engaged, Robach explained during a December 2024 episode of their “Amy and T.J.” podcast that she wants their nuptials to be in the fall. Holmes noted that he could see himself and Robach being married “sooner rather than later.”

“I say that based on my exclusive conversations with the bride,” he quipped. “I say that because we are not trying to figure things out. We are not trying to see if we want to be together. We’re not trying to do a trial run to see if this thing can work. That’s not where we are.”

For Holmes, the “decision has been made” about him and Robach growing old together. “When we are getting married, that’s going to be a byproduct of what’s happening. And it’s coming,” he explained before Robach added, “We’ve talked about marriage. We haven’t talked about a wedding. And there is a difference between the two.”

Joan Vassos and Gerry Turner have continued to stay in contact after she left his season of The Golden Bachelor.

“We are really good friends still,” Vassos, 62, said on the Wednesday, January 22, episode of the “Two Jersey Js” podcast. “We stay in touch.”

Vassos exited the show, which aired in 2023, to take care of her daughter who had recently given birth. Turner, 72, ultimately ended his season engaged to Theresa Nist, with whom he tied the knot in January 2024. Three months later, Us Weekly broke the news that Turner filed for divorce the same day that they revealed their split on Good Morning America.

When asked whether she thought Turner may have wanted to give their relationship another shot after his split from Nist, 71, Vassos replied, “I’m not gonna comment.”

While it’s unclear when Turner might have tried to reconcile with Vassos, she went on to star as the first-ever lead of The Golden Bachelorette, which aired in 2024, and accepted a proposal from Chock Chapple in the season 1 finale. While Vassos and Chapple, 61, are planning to say “I do” in the future, the pair are not in a rush to walk down the aisle.

“I think that we all kind of maybe learned a lesson from Gerry and Theresa that maybe that was too quick and they probably don’t want to make that mistake again,” Vassos said. “I certainly am not in any rush to get married. I am actually really happy right now, just not having anything to do.”

Chapple, for his part, has the same mindset when it comes to their upcoming nuptials. In an Instagram Story on January 14, Chapple shared that the couple is “asked all the time” when they plan to exchange vows.

“Somebody today at lunch said, ’[20]25?’” Chapple recalled. “And I said, ‘Maybe at the end of [20]25 or [20]26.’”

Chapple shared that he and Vassos are continuing to get “closer” while “having a lot of fun together just getting to know each other.” He added, “So it’s time well spent.”

For now, the pair are searching for a place in New York City to live near their East Coast children. (Joan shared four kids with late husband John Vassos, while Chock welcomed two children with ex-wife Heather.)

“This first year, obviously, we have to kind of figure out life. Chock has a business in Kansas. I have kids and grandkids and Maryland. I’m not leaving Maryland, but he does have obligations in Kansas,” Vassos told Us. “We know that we’re gonna spend time in Maryland and in Kansas, but then we have this really fun plan because both of us have always dreamed — and we’re finally at this weird stage in life for making this dream come true — that we live in a big city, and, specifically, we’ve always wanted to live in New York. So Chock surprised me and said, ‘I want us to go find a place.’”
