Notre Dame Coach Marcus Freeman's Bobblehead Has Very Accurate Hairline

Notre Dame head football coach Marcus Freeman showed off a new bobblehead made in his likeness — which came with impressive attention to detail.

Freeman, 39, posted a picture of the bobblehead via Instagram on Thursday, March 6, calling it “the perfect addition to my office.”

The bobblehead was situated on Freeman’s desk next to mini action figures of Notre Dame women’s basketball stars Olivia Miles and Hannah Hidalgo. Freeman’s figurine sported a green Notre Dame football tracksuit and featured him holding a football with a big smile on his face.

Perhaps most impressive, however, was the accurate representation of Freeman’s infamous hairline.

Freeman’s hair became a hot topic of conversation during Notre Dame’s run to the College Football Playoff National Championship in January. Before the Fighting Irish played Penn State in the Orange Bowl, Penn State head coach James Franklin needled Freeman during a press conference featuring both coaches.

“It’ll be a great game,” Franklin, 53, told reporters. “We’re really, really excited about competing. I’m looking over here at Marcus. How old are you now, Marcus?”

“38,” Freeman said with a sly smile.

Franklin, who is bald, responded, “I mean, I look at the hairline on this guy. Envious of his hairline in a lot of ways.”

While Franklin’s comment was seemingly innocuous, Freeman apparently didn’t take it that way

“He was angry,” Notre Dame safety Xavier Watts told The Athletic after Notre Dame’s 27-24 victory over Penn State. “He was angry with the press conference thing, whatever was going on between that. He was mad about that. All the anger went toward us and that anger went onto the field.”

Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love hinted he was also offended by Franklin’s comments, telling The Athletic, “I’m not gonna speak on their head coach.”

“We felt like their team didn’t really respect us,” Love added. “We wanted to come into this game and make a statement. Be the aggressors. Dominate them physically. That’s the message. Be physical and play violent. The whole game.”

Notre Dame eventually lost 34-23 to The Ohio State University in the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 20.

In December 2024, Freeman signed a four-year extension at Notre Dame, reportedly worth more than $9 million per season.

“I am grateful for the support of the Board of Trustees, led by John Veihmeyer, President Fr. Bob Dowd, C.S.C., and Director of Athletics Pete Bevacqua,” Freeman said in a statement. “The investment they continue to pour into our program is invaluable to our student-athletes and staff. This commitment goes well beyond myself, as they are dedicated to ensuring all aspects of our program are competitive within the upper echelon of college football.”

Boston Celtics Star Derrick White Glued His Own Teeth Back In During Game

Boston Celtics star Derrick White provided a cautionary tale about never skipping a dentist appointment.

In the second quarter of the Celtics game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, March 6, White, 30, took an elbow to the face from the 76ers’ Kelly Oubre. White immediately grabbed his mouth and hurriedly scooped up some debris from the court.

The debris, as it turned out, was White’s own teeth.

“It’s not a pretty sight,” White told reporters after the game. “Thankfully I covered my mouth right away.”

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith Responds to Heated Interaction With LeBron James

The Celtics star explained that the four teeth on his top row are connected with a “bridge, I think it is what the dentist people call it.”

After grabbing the teeth, White had a decision to make.

“Luckily they were right there,” he said. “I picked them up, we went to the back and I was trying to debate how I was going to go back. I got some glue and I put the mouthpiece on and we were good to go.”

White added, “After the glue and the mouthpiece, I figured, ‘What’s the worst that could happen as long as I didn’t take the mouthpiece out?’ Just get back out there and keep the mouthpiece in. That’s kinda how I thought about it.”

The bridge, White explained, was a “temporary” solution for some dental work that he had been kicking down the road.

“I was supposed to go in probably like two weeks ago,” White said. “But I kept pushing it off to get my permanent ones.”

White joked, “I’m gonna go tomorrow.”

When asked whether he might now wear a mouthpiece full-time, White said he would “consider” it but called it “unlikely.”

White played a total of 24 minutes on Thursday night, with 12 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds.

LaVar Ball Shows Off His Amputated Foot After ‘Serious’ Medical Ordeal

After the game, White’s teammates didn’t exactly have sympathy for his dental drama.

“It’s tough, he’s got a target on his head I think,” Celtics center Luke Kornet told NBC Sports Boston during an on-court interview. “I didn’t see it. I didn’t realize that was happening, but then I saw him back and he had some sort of mouthguard or something in. He was apparently supposed to go to the dentist two weeks ago and missed that appointment.”

Kornet, 29, then looked straight into the camera and said, “Kids, that’s why you gotta make sure you make those dentist appointments, because you might get elbowed in the face and lose your teeth.”

The Celtics return to action on Saturday, March 8, when they host the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ben Cleveland’s Estranged Wife Posts About 'Rumors' After Cheating Claim

Kaitlyn Cleveland found solace in a good ol’ fashioned country breakup ballad after her husband, Baltimore Ravens lineman Ben Cleveland, filed for divorce.

In documents filed by Ben, 26, on Friday, February 28, he listed “adultery” as the reason for the couple’s split. Ben and Kaitlyn, who met during their time at the University of Georgia, got married in July 2022.

Kaitlyn broke her silence about the divorce via her Instagram Story, where she posted lyrics to Kelsea Ballerini’s 2023 song “Interlude (Full Length),” which is about the country singer’s own 2022 divorce from ex-husband Morgan Evans

“‘Cause people that I loved are just people that I knew once,” the lyrics read, in a post captured by TMZ. “The rumors goin’ ‘round, but the truth is kinda nuanced / I wanna set it straight, but my lawyers said I shouldn’t.”

Ravens' Ben Cleveland and Estranged Wife Kaitlyn's Relationship Timeline

Kaitlyn made her Instagram private after the divorce filing, which does not specify which member of the couple was allegedly unfaithful.

Ben filed the divorce documents in Baldwin County, Georgia. The pair’s date of separation was listed as on or around December 29, 2024.

The filing came just 16 days after Ben was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Milledgeville, Georgia. He was pulled over on February 12 after being observed weaving between lanes and swerving on the road, per an arrest report shared by the NFL.

According to the report, Ben registered a .178 blood alcohol content — more than double the legal limit. He was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane before being released on bond.

Ben and Kaitlyn got engaged in Las Vegas in February 2020, which the Ravens star revealed in a since-deleted Instagram post.

“If I’m being honest, your first and my last name will just sound better together and probably always will,” Ben wrote alongside a photo carousel in front of the Bellagio Hotel & Casino fountains. “Nobody I’d rather spend my forever with and now we get to try that out.”

In another since-deleted Instagram post from June 2020, Ben said he and Kaitlyn weren’t in any rush to get to the altar.

“Two years and then some until you’re actually my wife,” he wrote alongside photos of the couple from a beach day. “Not sure, we haven’t really started wedding planning yet and we’ve been engaged 6 months so that’s on her. But she’s gonna be my wife so that’s kinda cool.”

Ben and Kaitlyn last appeared on social media together on December 26, 2024, three days before their listed separation date. Kaitlyn shared a carousel of photos via Instagram from the Ravens’ Christmas Day game against the Houston Texans, including pictures of Ben and Kaitlyn on the sidelines together.

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith Responds to Heated Interaction With LeBron James

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith responded after his heated courtside interaction with LeBron James went viral.

James, 40, got in the face of Smith, 57, after the Los Angeles Lakers’ overtime victory over the New York Knicks at L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena on Thursday, March 6, which spread quickly all over social media.

On the Friday, March 7, episode of ESPN’s First Take, Smith explained the confrontation was about LeBron’s son Bronny James

“That was LeBron James coming up to me, unexpectedly I might add, to confront me about making sure that I mind what I say about his son,” Smith explained. “Can’t repeat the words because they ain’t suited for FCC airwaves. That’s what he was doing.”

LeBron James Has ‘Pure Joy’ for Son Bronny James on Lakers Picture Day

Bronny, 20, was drafted by the Lakers in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, a move which Smith has vocally criticized.

“I thought long and hard about this over the last few hours, because I had no intention of talking about this at all,” Smith said. “The reason why is because it was a one-on-one — I wouldn’t say it was a conversation — but it was a one-on-one confrontation. Then I wake up and everybody from ESPN and my agent and everybody else was sending me that this thing had gone viral.”

Smith said talking about the incident became “unavoidable” given the attention it attracted.

“That wasn’t a basketball player confronting me,” Smith continued. “That was a parent. That was a father. I can’t sit here and be angry or feel slighted by LeBron James in any way in that regard. By all accounts, he’s obviously a wonderful family man and father. He cares very, very deeply about his son.”

Smith said LeBron “clearly took exception to some of the things he heard me say.”

In January, Smith was “pleading” with LeBron to stop trying to make his son’s professional basketball dreams happen. “We all know that Bronny James is in the NBA because of his dad,” Smith said on First Take at the time.

ESPN’s Chris Russo Argues ‘Nobody in America’ Cares About Bronny James

Smith said he would have taken a phone call from LeBron to address his grievances, “but that is not what he elected to do.”

“I have nothing but the best wishes for Bronny James,” Smith said on Friday. “I wish him nothing but the best. I hope that he flourishes into an NBA star.”

Smith explained his issue was really with LeBron himself and the “pressure” he put on Bronny to succeed in his shadow.

“I could be a bit more outspoken about it,” Smith concluded. “But to be quite honest with you, to be in that moment, to have LeBron look at me the way that he did, for me to be a father of two daughters, for me to know how much love fathers have for their children, and for me to hear what he had to say, it was all about his son.”

$10 Million Reward Offered for Ex-Olympian Accused of Murder, Drug Charges

UPDATE — 3/6/25, 5:35 p.m. ET: A $10 million reward is being offered by the United States Department of State for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Ryan James Wedding, a former Olympian who is accused of operating a murderous cocaine ring.

The reward was offered on Thursday, March 6, the same day Wedding, 43, was added to the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List.

“Wedding went from shredding powder on the slopes at the Olympics to distributing powder cocaine on the streets of U.S. cities and in his native Canada,” said Akil Davis, the assistant director of the FBI’s Los Angeles field office. “The alleged murders of his competitors make Wedding a very dangerous man, and his addition to the list of 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, coupled with a major reward offer by the State Department, will make the public our partner so that we can catch up with him before he puts anyone else in danger.”

Original story:

A former Olympic snowboarder has been charged with operating a deadly cocaine enterprise — and he remains at large.

Ryan James Wedding, 43, who competed for Canada in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, was charged Thursday, October 17 with running a criminal enterprise, murder, conspiring to distribute cocaine and other crimes, U.S. prosecutors said.

Wedding, a Canadian citizen who was living in Mexico and is now considered a fugitive, is accused of running a drug trafficking ring that moved 60 tons of cocaine per year.

According to authorities, Wedding’s group used long-haul semi trucks to move shipments of cocaine from Colombia through Mexico and California to Canada and other locations in the United States.

Look Back at the Biggest Olympics Scandals Ever

Wedding is one of 16 individuals charged in connection to the operation, with four of them remaining fugitives. A dozen people were arrested in Florida, Michigan, Canada, Colombia and Mexico in connection with the case, according to FBI special agent Krysti Hawkins

The FBI has issued a $50,000 reward for information that leads to Wedding’s arrest and extradition.

Authorities say Wedding’s group turned deadly in 2023 when members of the crime ring killed two members of a family in Canada in retaliation for a stolen drug shipment. Officials say the murders turned out to be a case of mistaken identity.

Andrew Clark, who was arrested October 8 by the FBI, and Wedding are alleged to have directed the murders, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release on Thursday.

The group is also charged with the murder of one individual in May 2024 over a drug debt.

“He chose to become a major drug trafficker, and he chose to become a killer,” U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada told reporters Thursday.

In connection with their investigation, authorities seized cocaine, weapons, ammunition, cash and more than $3 million in cryptocurrency.

Wedding also faces separate drug trafficking charges in Canada dating back to 2015.

Olympian Thomas Craig Arrested for Allegedly Trying to Buy Cocaine

“Those charges are very much unresolved,” said Chris Leather, chief superintendent with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

According to federal records viewed by ESPN, Wedding was previously convicted in the U.S. of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and was sentenced to four years in prison in 2010.

After his release, said Estrada, he is believed to have been protected by the Sinaloa cartel in Mexico while resuming his drug trafficking.

Wedding finished 24th in the parallel giant slalom at the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Sam Bankman-Fried Reveals What It's Like Being in Prison With Diddy

Convicted fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried revealed what it’s been like sharing a prison unit with Diddy.

Bankman-Fried — who is serving 25 years on fraud, conspiracy and money laundering charges in relation to his cryptocurrency exchange, FTX — is currently locked up with the rapper, 55, as he awaits trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson posted via X on Thursday, March 6, Bankman-Fried, 33, described Diddy as “kind.”

“Obviously I’ve only seen one piece of him, which is Diddy in prison,” Bankman-Fried told Carlson, 55. “He’s been kind to people in the unit. He’s been kind to me.”

Every Allegation Against Diddy From Former 'Making the Band' Stars

He added, “It’s a position that no one wants to be in. Obviously he doesn’t. I don’t. It’s kind of a soul-crushing place for the world in general. What we see are just the people that are around us on the inside other than who we are on the outside.”

Diddy has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty. The rap mogul also faces dozens of lawsuits from individuals who claim he harmed and exploited them through drugs, alcohol and physical abuse. Diddy has denied all the allegations against him.

Bankman-Fried said it’s been “really interesting” to see how the other incarcerated individuals in their unit have interacted with Diddy.

“Some of them are thinking, like, ‘Wow, this is sort of a big opportunity,’” Bankman-Fried explained. “You know, to meet people they otherwise wouldn’t get to meet. It shocked me the first time I heard that. It makes sense from their perspective, but boy, is that not how I think about prison.”

Bankman-Fried said he’s managed to make “some friends,” but acknowledged the bizarre circumstances he and Diddy find themselves in.

Diddy Accuser Claims He Used 'Entire Bottle' of Baby Oil in 5 Minutes

“It’s a weird environment,” he noted. “It’s sort of a combination of a few other high-profile cases and a lot of ex-gangsters, or alleged ex-gangsters.”

Speaking of his fellow inmates, Bankman-Fried gave kudos to them for their board game abilities — albeit in a roundabout way.

“They’re good at chess,” he marveled. “That’s one thing I’ve learned. Former armed robbers who don’t speak English and probably didn’t graduate middle school, a surprising number of them are very good at chess. I’m not saying they’re Grandmasters. But I lose games to them all the time. I was not expecting that.”

Diddy’s trial is scheduled to begin on May 5.

Tigers’ Roberto Campos Thanks Taylor Swift for Helping Him Learn English

Roberto Campos had a lot on his shoulders as a teenage baseball phenom — including learning English.

Campos — who spoke without the help of an interpreter — revealed to the Detroit Free Press on Wednesday, March 5 that he used some American pop music to really hone his English skills.

“Thank you, Taylor Swift,” Campos said with a smile while at the Tigers’ spring training in Lakeland, Florida.

Campos, now 21, was only 13 years old when he moved to the United States from his native Cuba to pursue his dream of becoming a professional baseball player.

MLB Star Colt Keith Gets Married, Parties with Detroit Tigers Teammates

When he was 16 years old, he signed a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers that included a $2.85 million bonus. At the time, it was the largest bonus ever awarded to an international free agent by the franchise.

After signing with the Tigers, Campos was eventually assigned to play minor league baseball for the organization’s High-A West Michigan Whitecaps. The Whitecaps play in suburban Grand Rapids, Michigan, roughly 160 miles northwest of Detroit.

Suffice to say, it was quite the culture shock for Campos.

“My Latino friends said, ‘Hey, bro, you need to learn English because it’s hard when somebody’s talking to you and you don’t understand nothing,’” Campos told the Detroit Free Press on Wednesday, March 5 from the Tigers’ spring training in Lakeland, Florida.

So, Campos decided to take matters into his own hands.

The outfielder told the Free Press he watched action movies and comedies on Netflix with the subtitles turned on, set his phone to English and watched videos in an attempt to learn new words.

He added, “It’s awesome. Sometimes I am in my room, and I say, ‘Man, I did it. Because when I get here, I said, ‘I’m never gonna learn English because it’s so hard for me. But now, every time that I can answer a question, I feel great. Man, inside me, I feel like, yeah!”

Campos expressed that his improved ability to communicate with his coaches and teammates has made things much easier and enjoyable for the young athlete.

Detroit Tigers' Matt Vierling and Girlfriend Allie's Relationship Timeline

“They treat me like I’m one of them,” Campos said. “I feel good every day I come here.”

All of Campos’ hard work away from the field hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Tigers organization — just ask manager A.J. Hinch

“It’s a good lesson for all of us on patience,” Hinch, 50, told the Free Press. “The acclimation process is not just about learning about baseball. He’s had to learn about living in a different country, in a different language, and interacting with a lot of different people.”

Hinch added, “It only feels like it’s taken a long time because of our lack of patience as an industry, not anything that he has or hasn’t done.”

LaVar Ball Shows Off His Amputated Foot After ‘Serious’ Medical Ordeal

LaVar Ball remains in good spirits after being forced to have his right foot amputated.

Ball, 57, who rose to fame with his Big Baller Brand and big plans for sons Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo, was seen dancing to Haddaway’s “What Is Love?” in a video posted via Instagram on Wednesday, March 5.

Wearing a Big Baller Brand t-shirt while sitting at a glass table, Ball moved his hands and sang some of the words before the camera panned down to his amputation.

“Baby don’t hurt me, don’t hurt me … .my foot,” Ball said, before letting out a big laugh.

Celebrity Kids Following In Their Parents' Athletic Footsteps

Ball had his right foot amputated in February after suffering “a serious medical issue,” according to TMZ

Since the procedure, Ball has managed to have a good sense of humor about his situation.

In a TikTok video posted on Saturday, March 1, Ball showed his still-intact left foot and joked, “Guess who grew the foot back? I did! Who else you know who has three sons in the NBA … and an ability to grow their feet back? Nobody!”

Ball shares his three sons with his wife, Tina Ball, who he married in 1997 after they met as students at Cal State Los Angeles. In February 2017, Tina suffered a stroke which left her with aphasia, a language disorder that affects a person’s ability to communicate effectively.

In a December 2017 episode of their Facebook Watch reality series, Ball in the Family, Tina’s mother, Noni, helped explain her daughter’s affliction.

“She understands all the conversations everyone has. The thing is, she can’t speak back,” Noni said. “Because some of that was destroyed during the stroke, she knows all of the words, but getting them back out, that is part of the frustration.”

As for Lavar and Tina’s sons, all three boys have helped make their father’s grandiose aspirations for them become reality.

Blake Griffin Argues There's 'Disconnect' Between NBA and Basketball Fans

Lonzo, 27, is currently a point guard with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls. Drafted with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, Lonzo also played two seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans before being traded to the Bulls in 2021.

LiAngelo, 26, played basketball overseas — including time in the Junior Basketball Association (JBA), a league founded by his father — before making his debut in the NBA’s G League in 2021. While a career in the NBA never took off, LiAngelo has made a major name for himself on the music scene as GELO, with his viral song “Tweaker” becoming massive on TikTok and hitting No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100.

LaMelo, 23, was selected No. 3 overall by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2020 NBA Draft. He was named Rookie of the Year in 2021 and made his first All-Star team in 2022 and is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the NBA.

NFL Star Joey Bosa’s Mom Supports Petition After His LA Chargers Release

The mother of NFL star Joey Bosa is attempting to rally the troops after her son was released by the Los Angeles Chargers.

Cheryl Bosa supported a call to action to get Joey, 29, to San Francisco to play with his brother Nick, 27, after the Chargers announced they were moving on from Joey after nine seasons with the franchise on Wednesday, March 5.

“BREAKING NEWS: Can we get a petition going on bringing @jbbigbear to the bay #bosabrothers 🐻🐻,” Cheryl reposted via her Instagram Story on Wednesday.

Joey, a linebacker, and Nick, a defensive end, both played college football at The Ohio State University, but their tenures did not overlap. Joey was drafted with the 3rd overall selection by the Chargers in the 2016 NFL Draft. Nick started his freshman year in Columbus that fall.

Cheryl also reposted a “thank you” message from the Chargers organization via her Story, writing, “Could not be [any] prouder of my son, Joey.”

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Cheryl’s wish isn’t exactly a far-fetched pipe dream. Rapoport, 45, reported on Wednesday that the 49ers are potentially interested in uniting the Bosa brothers.

“The #Chargers star will have options — joining his brother Nick in SF is one of them,” the NFL insider posted via X. “His release saved the Chargers $25M against the cap.”

Joey was rewarded with a five-year, $135 million contract extension by the Chargers in 2020, making him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history at the time.

Since that time, however, injuries have plagued Joey’s career. In the past three seasons, he’s played in a total of just 28 games.

The Chargers paid tribute to Joey via Instagram on Wednesday, posting a carousel of photos and videos from his time with the franchise.

thx for everything, joey 💙,” the team wrote.

Prior to his release from the Chargers, Joey was asked about playing in the NFL with his brother one day. “It’d be cool at some point,” he said.

Still, Joey expressed his commitment to the Chargers organization, for whom he had played his entire career.

“I always thought of myself being somebody that will play here and retire here, which I think not many people do on one team,” he said. “I think it would be a cool thing to accomplish, but you never know.”

Hailee Steinfeld, Josh Allen Will Have a ‘Very Intimate' Wedding: Source

Given their hectic schedules, Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld aren’t wasting any time when it comes to planning their nuptials.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 28, proposed to the Pitch Perfect actress, 28, in November 2024 after more than one year of dating. Now, a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly that the pair is moving full steam ahead to the altar.

“They don’t want a long engagement, and the wedding planning is already underway,” the source said. “Hailee is very excited about the planning process and now that Josh is done with the season, she hopes they can have more time to make decisions together.”

Allen’s season ended on January 26 with an AFC Championship Game loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Bills training camp is expected to start in July. Steinfeld, meanwhile, is currently filming a project.

“They only have a few timeframes they can have the wedding, so they are nailing down the logistics and are location scouting right now,” the source added. “It will be a very intimate but extravagant event.”

Despite their high profiles, Allen and Steinfeld didn’t make their red carpet debut until the NFL Honors in February.

“Hailee and Josh are extremely private,” the insider explained. “They are finally feeling comfortable in sharing more of their relationship and their lives together, but it took several years. They are both private and low-key people and that’s why it works.”

The source said Allen and Steinfeld “hit it off right away” after meeting at an event in 2023, and later connected online.

“They were very serious from the beginning and knew each other was a good match,” according to the insider. “Josh loves Hailee’s sense of humor, and she keeps him grounded. They laugh a lot together and also have a deep connection. Hailee is the most supportive partner, and Josh fell in love with her instantly.”

Once the wedding is out of the way, Allen and Steinfeld are aligned on knocking off another one of life’s milestones together.

“They both are excited about starting a family and want that in the next few years,” the source revealed. “They both share the same values when it comes to parenting and having kids.”

While mostly staying out of the spotlight, Steinfeld was a regular presence at Bills games last season — even bringing her older brother, Griffin, to a game in Los Angeles against the Rams in December 2024.

“Hailee loves supporting Josh’s career and admires his work ethic,” the source said. “She absolutely loves going to the games and cheering him on. It’s fun for her to bring her family and be with Josh’s and they make it a huge family outing. Their families have bonded a lot, especially during the season.”

NASCAR Sues Michael Jordan's Racing Team, Claims They’re an 'Illegal Cartel'

Michael Jordan’s racing team, 23XI Racing, has reportedly been sued by NASCAR for allegedly working to scheme their way into receiving preferential treatment.

In the lawsuit filed on Wednesday, March 4, and obtained by The Athletic, Jordan’s team and his longtime business partner, Curtis Polk, are reportedly accused of acting like “an illegal cartel.”

The lawsuit also names racing team Front Row Motorsports as being part of the alleged plan.

NASCAR claims the two teams “agreed to a scheme to pressure NASCAR to accept their collusive terms, including by engaging in media campaigns, interfering with NASCAR’s broadcast agreement negotiations, threatening boycotts of NASCAR events and engaging in a group boycott of a NASCAR Team Owner Council Meeting,” the outlet reports.

RHOM’s Guerdy Abraira Says She Once Impressed Michael Jordan

The lawsuit alleges that Polk was the driving force behind the effort.

Polk allegedly represented “all teams in negotiations, coordinating their conduct, and threatening teams that considered leaving the conspiracy and interfering and negatively affecting NASCAR’s attempts to renew its media rights agreements.”

The filing was a countersuit to a lawsuit filed in October 2024 by Bob Jenkins, who owns Front Row Motorsports. In addition to his connection to the racing world, Jenkins is deeply connected to the Yum! Brand family of restaurants and owns hundreds of KFC, Taco Bell, Long John Silver’s and A&W locations.

Jenkins’ lawsuit reportedly accused NASCAR and the company’s CEO, Jim France, of using “anticompetitive and exclusionary practices” to “enrich themselves at the expense of the premier stock car racing teams.”

The legal battle is all centered around NASCAR’s charter system which, according to The Athletic, is “the sport’s version of franchises that assures the holder of a charter certain financial guarantees in addition to a starting position in all 36 races in NASCAR’s premier Cup Series.”

Per The Athletic, “NASCAR is asking the court for triple damages as well the elimination of the guaranteed starting positions for 23XI and Front Row Motorsports into Cup Series races if the groups continue litigation aiming to make the Charter Agreements unlawful under antitrust laws.”

NASCAR's Bubba Wallace Found Out His Son Was Born Via FaceTime: 'Wild'

In a statement to Us Weekly by Jeffrey Kessler, attorney for 23XI and Front Row Motorsports, the lawsuit is “a meritless distraction and a desperate attempt to shift attention away from its own unlawful, monopolistic actions.”

“NASCAR agreed to the joint negotiations that they now attack,” the statement continued. “When those joint negotiations failed, they used individual negotiations to impose their charter terms, which most of the teams decided they had no choice but to accept.  My clients’ lawsuit has always been about transforming NASCAR into a more competitive and fair sport for the benefit of drivers, fans, sponsors and teams because of their love of the sport. Every major sport goes through a transition to competition when antitrust claims are asserted, and that moment has come for NASCAR.”

Kessler asserted the countersuit “changes nothing” and concluded, “We are confident in the strength of our case and look forward to presenting it at trial.”

Celine Dion Makes Appearance at Golf Match, Sings ‘My Heart Will Go On’

Celine Dion proved she’s still got it during a rare interview in front of some of the biggest athletes in the world.

The legendary singer, 56, made an appearance at the TGL match between the Jupiter Links and Atlanta Drive at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on Tuesday, March 4.

TGL, an acronym for Tomorrow’s Golf League, is a 3-on-3 golf league launched earlier this year by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. Matches take place within the confines of an indoor, custom-made arena roughly the size of a football field.

Dion, who was diagnosed with neurological disorder stiff person syndrome in December 2022, was asked about her health during an in-match conversation with ESPN’s Mary Smith.

“I’m doing really great, thank you so much for asking,” Dion said with a big smile.

Dion was in attendance with her three sons — René-Charles, 24, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 14 — who she described as “big golfers.”

“They’re very passionate about the game,” Dion explained. “I used to play golf when I had time. Then I had kids and I took a little break and here I am. But it’s a great passion, as a mother, to see my own children play this game … It’s such a beautiful and great game. You can be in competition with yourself, you can play with your best friend, you can play with your mom, you can play with your neighbor.”

Dion was asked what song from her catalog “best represents” her golf game, which drew a chuckle from the 5-time Grammy winner.

Instead of simply answering the question, Dion did an improvised riff on the lyrics to “My Heart Will Go On,” her iconic song from Titanic

“Near, far, wherever you are, I believe that my ball will go on,” Dion sang impressively with some help from ESPN’s Smith, 48.

Dion was impressed with the reporter’s vocal chops, grabbing him by the arm and saying, “You’re not bad!”

The surprise performance stopped everybody in the arena in their tracks, including a beaming Woods, a member of the Jupiter Links, and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who attended the match as a spectator during his bachelor party festivities. (The NFL star is currently engaged to actress Hailee Steinfeld.)

The impromptu moment marked the first time Dion has performed in public since her rendition of “L’Hymne À L’Amour” atop the Eiffel Tower at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony.

Dion has been forced to step back from performing after her stiff person syndrome diagnosis, which causes painful spasms. In the 2024 documentary I Am: Celine Dion, the singer dramatically showed how the neurological disorder had greatly impacted her ability to sing.

However, in a June 2024 interview with Today’s Hoda Kotb, Dion said she vowed to return to the stage.

“Even if I have to crawl,” Dion said. “Even if I have to talk with my hands, I will. I will.”

Saquon Barkley’s fiancée, Anna Congdon, has reacted to the Philadelphia Eagles running back making history with his new contract.

Barkley, 28, signed a two-year contract extension with the Eagles on Tuesday, March 4. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the deal is worth $41.2 million, which makes Barkley the highest-paid running back in NFL history.

The deal, which includes $36 million guaranteed at signing, also includes the ability to earn an additional $15 million in incentives.

Congdon — who shares daughter Jada, 6, and son Saquon Jr., 17 months, with the football star — responded to the big news via social media.

She shared a graphic created by the NFL via her Instagram Story, which read: “Saquon becomes first RB in NFL history with $20 million+ per year contract.”

The post included an image of Barkley holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy, which the Eagles earned by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on February 9.

In a separate post, Congdon also shared an image of Barkley embracing his agent, Edward Berry, who was responsible for orchestrating Barkley’s record-setting contract. She tagged Berry in the post and wrote, “🙏🏻🤍✨.”

Barkley expressed his gratitude for his new contract with his own post on social media.

“Overflow!” he wrote via X. “Grateful for the Eagles Organization, grateful for my team,  grateful for the amazing fans in Philly. Fly Eagles Fly 🦅 @EdwardMBerry 😤.”

Eagles Running Back Saquon Barkley and Fiancee Anna's Relationship Timeline

After spending the first six seasons of his NFL career with the New York Giants, Barkley signed a three-year, $37.75 million deal with the Eagles in March 2024.

Barkley and Congdon — who met while they were both students at Penn State University and have been dating since 2017 — announced their engagement one week before the Super Bowl.

“I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have so far in my career without the help of her,” Barkley told People in a story published February 2. “She’s been super helpful and always has my back, not only in football but throughout life there’s a lot that goes on. But as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.”

Barkley continued, “And it’s a beautiful thing because we have two amazing children that [we raised] and we just sit back and laugh sometimes when they’re over there playing and just smile and think about where everything started.”

Jack Wagner Says Women Are Still 'Overwhelmed' When They See Him in Public

It’s been over 40 years since Jack Wagner made his debut on General Hospital, but soap opera fans still make the actor feel like a fresh-faced young star.

Wagner, 65, played Frisco Jones on General Hospital from 1984 to 1995, though for many members of the show’s dedicated fan base, it might as well have been yesterday.

General Hospital was such a massive show in the ’80s for a generation of women,” Wagner exclusively told Us Weekly. “That generation is now in their 60s. They see me and they’re like, ‘Wait, wait, you don’t understand!’”

Wagner continued, “I do understand! They’re so overwhelmed because that was such a huge show.”

Jack Wagner Gives an Update on His Relationship With Ex Heather Locklear

The actor was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 1985 for Outstanding Young Actor in a Drama Series for his work on General Hospital. He reprised his role as Frisco Jones from 1994 to 1995 and again for a brief stint in 2013.

After a memorable run as Peter Burns on primetime soap opera Melrose Place from 1994 to 1999, Wagner returned to daytime screens as Nick Marone on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2003 to 2012, for which he was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards.

With a decades-long career in music, movies and television — including an appearance on season 14 of Dancing With the Stars in 2012 and his current role as Bill Avery in Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart franchise — Wagner pushed back against the idea that soap opera acting is anything to turn up your nose about.

Jack Wagner Commends 'Fighter' Andie MacDowell After Piriformis Diagnosis

“To even use the label of a ‘soap actor,’ I don’t really care for that,” Wagner explained. “I never have. Because I’m a real thespian. I’ve been trained in the theater. That’s how I look at it. Actors are actors, it just depends on what medium you’re working in.”

In fact, Wagner theorized some performers have no clue how arduous the life of a soap opera star can be.

“I gotta tell you honestly, people that are from A-list films have no idea what it’s like to have 60 pages of dialogue on one day of a soap opera and work 14 hours and get it all right,” Wagner said. “Soap opera actors really have an edge. They work their ass off.”

He added, “You’re trying to give the best performance you can, but you’ve got 60 pages that day. Whereas if you’re doing a Movie of the Week — and I’ve done 30 or 40 of those — we shoot it in 15 or 16 days, but you don’t have more than eight pages a day. That’s where I hope the credibility is given. It really takes great memorization, a real commitment to rehearsal and a real commitment to being able to give the best performance you can in a very short period of time.”

NFL Star Chad Johnson Says 'Keeping a Woman' Happy is 'Most Difficult'

Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson used a guest hosting gig on ESPN’s First Take as an opportunity to gripe about his relationship woes.

During a discussion about Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter and Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani on the Monday, March 3 episode, Johnson, 47, argued that Ohtani, 30, has the more impressive skill set of the duo.

“The two most difficult things in life are hitting a baseball and keeping a woman happy long term,” the longtime Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver argued.

Johnson’s comment earned chuckles from First Take cohosts Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe (both men are reportedly single).

The panel was debating whose job is more demanding: Hunter, 21, who played both wide receiver and cornerback at the University of Colorado, or Ohtani, who is a starting pitcher and designated hitter for the World Series champion Dodgers.

Johnson and his cohosts were inspired to discuss the topic after Hunter was asked if he or Ohtani had the more “difficult” job at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last month.

“Probably me, what I do in football, because it’s a lot on your body,” Hunter told reporters. “Ohtani is a great player, but you gotta do a lot in football.”

Johnson, who played his final NFL game in 2011, added, “It’s incomparable. I gotta get Travis Hunter in a batting cage. Not even anybody pitching. Just the machine. Let a fastball come at you 95 miles per hour.As athletically gifted as you are, I want to see you try and hit it so you get a better understanding. The comparison is not even close.”

As for Johnson’s personal life, his relationship history has been notoriously rocky.

Johnson, who is the father to six children, married Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada in July 2012.

The month after the wedding, Johnson was arrested on a charge of domestic battery for allegedly headbutting Lozada, 49. Three days after the incident, Lozada filed for divorce.

Johnson entered a plea of no contest to misdemeanor domestic battery and served a year of probation.

In January 2023, the football star got engaged to former Selling Tampa star Sharelle Rosado. Johnson and Rosado, 37, share daughter Serenity, who was born in January 2022.

Rosado announced she and Johnson had called off their engagement in October 2023.

“Chad and I are no longer together please stop tagging us,” the reality star wrote via X. “He is a free man ladies.”

During an appearance on the “Reality With the King” podcast in January 2025, Rosado claimed she dumped Johnson after finding flirtatious conversations with other women in his phone.

“The s— I saw was crazy,” she said.

Chelsea Freeman Gives Update on 'Miracle' Recovery of 4-Year-Old Son Max

Chelsea Freeman provided a hopeful update about her son Maximus, 4, who was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder last year.

Max — who Chelsea shares with her husband, Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman — was rushed to the hospital in July 2024 after he was unable to sit, stand or walk. Chelsea, 33, and Freddie, 35, eventually announced Max had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, an autoimmune disorder during which the body’s immune system attacks the nerves.

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Chelsea explained how Max has progressed in the months since his initial hospitalization.

“He’s been so resilient,” said Chelsea, who spoke to Us via her partnership with OFF! for Adults & Kids. “It’s been amazing to see. He’s still in [physical therapy] two times a week. It will be a full one-year recovery before he’s back to complete normal.”

In reflecting back on the ordeal, an emotional Chelsea called it “the most terrifying thing I’ve ever been through.”

“It was very, very, very intense,” Chelsea said. “It obviously taught us that health is everything. It was awful. He was fully paralyzed on a ventilator. Seeing him able to play outside, it’s really a miracle for how sick he was.”

Max, who turned 4 in February, is doing far more than just playing outside. Chelsea said he’s already been taking swim lessons and she and Freddie recently signed him up to play Little League.

“I wasn’t even sure a few months ago if he was going to be able to play baseball,” Chelsea admitted. “You don’t know exactly how the recovery is going to go.”

Not only is Max taking after his Dad — who was named World Series MVP in October after the Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees in five games — he’s also picking up the bat in the same way that his two older brothers did before him.

Freddie Freeman, Wife Chelsea Were at 'Ultimate Low' Before World Series

In addition to Max, Chelsea and Freddie also share sons Charlie, 8, and Brandon, 4, who was born three months before Max via surrogacy.

“It’s really cool,” Chelsea said of seeing her three boys on the diamond. “Freddie grew up playing Little League, so it’s definitely cool to see that Charlie is so into baseball. Brandon is a lefty like Freddie. And Max is very athletic, as well. It’s very special to see them follow in their father’s footsteps.”

With baseball season around the corner — for both Freddie and the boys — Chelsea will use OFF! to help keep her family safe from mosquitos and other nuisances while they’re enjoying America’s Pastime.

“My kids actually love putting it on,” Chelsea said with a laugh. “With the start of baseball and the warmer weather come bugs and ticks … I love this product, obviously it’s safe to put on my children. They don’t fight me at all using it. It’s a prevention method that’s super important to me.”

Jordan Chiles Continues Fight Against Controversial Olympics' Medal Ruling

Jordan Chiles is not backing down in her fight to regain the bronze medal she believes she earned at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Chiles, 23, appeared on Good Morning America Tuesday, March 4, and discussed her mental state seven months removed from the controversial ruling at the Games.

“I can tell you I’m doing way better than I was when it first happened,” Chiles said on GMA.

She continued, “I definitely can only do so much for myself, really focus on my mental, and knowing that I’ve been at UCLA and competing with the team has really helped with that. I’m going to continue to fight and understand that I can only control what I can do with myself. And let everything else just be on the backend of whether my lawyer, my attorney are doing whatever they can to continue to fight for that.”

Jordan Chiles Gets Asked for Selfies on UCLA Campus, But Craves Normalcy

Chiles is currently in the midst of her junior season on the UCLA Bruins’ gymnastics team. She returned to the team last year after being stripped of a bronze medal in the women’s individual floor exercise routine in August 2024.

After Chiles’ coach, Cecile Landi, raised an inquiry about Chiles’ score, she judges bumped her up one-tenth of a point. The score adjustment moved Chiles into third place and Romania’s Ana Bărbosu to fourth.

The Romanian Gymnastics Federation then filed an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), challenging the timeliness of the inquiry. The Federation argued it was submitted four seconds after the one-minute appeal window.

Eventually, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) sided with the Romanian Federation and awarded the bronze medal to Bărbosu, 18.

Jordan Chiles Details 'Difficult' Bronze Medal Loss in Emotional Interview

Chiles’ representatives have since filed two appeals in the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland, most recently in September 2024. USA Gymnastics has also filed a separate appeal.

The appeals asked the court to require CAS to re-open the proceedings and consider their audio and video evidence — which comes from the Netflix camera crews who were in Paris filming Simone Biles’ docuseries, Rising — and allegedly disproves the timeline laid out in the initial ruling.

Whether or not she ever gets her medal back, Chiles insisted she’s at peace with things.

“I’m just going to continue on to move with life,” she said on GMA. “I can’t control what happens at the end of the day. I just know what’s right with me and that I’m always just going to continue to look forward.”
