Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim Claims Rent Increases Amid L.A. Wildfires

Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim has claimed Los Angeles landlords are illegally raising rental prices amid the city’s wildfire disaster.

Speaking to BBC One on Sunday, January 12, the property mogul and reality TV star, 47, said he allegedly sent a client to a local property that had previously been requesting $13,000 per month in rent. Oppenheim said the client was then asked by the landlord for “$23,000” per month.

Oppenheim, who co-owns real estate brokerage The Oppenheim Group with his twin brother, Brett Oppenheim, told the outlet he condemned the behavior. “There are price gouging laws in California, they’re just being ignored right now, and this isn’t the time to be taking advantage of situations,” Oppenheim said during the interview.

The original Selling Sunset star, who rose to fame after first appearing in the show’s premiere in March 2019, added that the L.A. wildfires have left local residents completely broken since breaking out after a severe windstorm on Tuesday, January 7. “Everyone has tears in their eyes all day long, literally from the smoke but also just because it’s emotional to see people struggling like this,” Oppenheim told the outlet.

Jason Oppenheim Says Agency Will Represent L.A. Wildfire Victims 'For Free'

Oppenheim’s remarks come after Californian authorities warned business owners against illegally lifting item prices beyond 10% higher than the costs that existed prior to the wildfire outbreak.

The comments also come after Oppenheim announced on Thursday, January 9, that his company is donating services to displaced residents as a result of the fires. “If you’ve lost your home in the Los Angeles fires and you need to find a place to rent until your home is rebuilt, all Oppenheim Group agents will represent you for free or credit you back any commission we receive in the transaction,” Oppenheim wrote in an Instagram post that day. “Please reach out to us at [email protected].”

The star expanded on the initiative in a video, too. “I woke up this morning to a lot of friends and clients reaching out because they lost their homes over the last couple of days and they need help with places to live now,” Oppenheim said. “Their families are displaced and as real estate agents, we obviously have an obligation to help them find a place — even when it’s going to be difficult with thousands of people [are] looking for places and [there are] not nearly as many houses available.”

Several of Jason’s employees echoed Oppenheim’s sentiment in the video’s comments section, including Alexandra Jarvis, Davina Potratz, Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet, Polly Brindle and Chrishell Stause.

“We are ready to help down in OC! ❤,” Selling the OC’s Brindle, 38, replied, while Fitzgerald Bonnet, 44, sent multiple heart emojis.

At the time of publication, the Associated Press reported that 24 people have died as a result of the L.A. wildfires, which broke out in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood and surrounding Los Angeles area last week. The outlet noted that at least 16 people were missing, with authorities warning that the number is “expected to rise.”

TikTok Couple Matt and Abby Howard Address Father’s Day Controversy

TikTokers Matt and Abby Howard have reflected on the backlash they received after declaring they were boycotting Father’s Day last year.

During the 100th episode of the couple’s “Unplanned Podcast,” released on Wednesday, January 8, the couple discussed a viral clip from an infamous May 2024 episode of the podcast in which Matt, 26, claimed he would not celebrate Father’s Day until December that year because their 2023 June celebration was “a bummer.” (The married couple share two sons, Griffin, 2, and August, 1.)

Abby, 25, kicked off the couple’s revisit to the clip, which attracted more than 9.4 million views and an avalanche of criticism. “Matt’s Father’s Day birthday saga. That was a memorable moment from [the] Unplanned podcast 2024. How would you rate that moment … one out of 10? You have to include the emotional trauma,” Abby asked Matt in the new episode.

Matt responded, “Oh my gosh, I can laugh about it now [but] at the time I was, like, horrified. I think it’s funny now, I’m like, that is so stupid. The words I said … were so stupid as well, I obviously did not sound good at all.”

This TikTok Couple Is, Once Again, Causing An Uproar Amongst Parents

He continued, “I just looked so selfish. I looked so full of myself.”

Despite Matt’s obvious remorse, Abby said she believed it’s “kind of funny in hindsight,” before adding that she didn’t actually view the controversial clip and, as a result, didn’t know how Matt came across at the time.

“In general, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with … controversy, but I didn’t watch the clip and maybe the clip made it look really bad,” Abby admitted. “In which case, that’s on us. I guess we had that one coming.”

At the time, Abby, who was pregnant with the couple’s second child, revealed how she had combined her husband’s birthday with Father’s Day in 2023 because the two events fell on the same day. The pair had also just returned from a babymoon and Matt had acknowledged that the family were very busy at the time.

TikTok's Matt and Abby Howard Criticized for Dining Without Kids on Cruise

Both Abby and Matt agreed they would be “boycotting Father’s Day in the month of June,” as a result of the previous year’s turnout, deciding to celebrate the occasion in September as “nothing goes on in September.”

The high school sweethearts have become somewhat familiar with controversy over the years, attracting criticism again in September 2024 when they revealed they went for dinner with friends while their children slept in the family’s bedroom. “So we ended up taking them for five nights and it became apparent that they weren’t enjoying it and therefore we weren’t either,” Abby wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “So, THEN we switched our dinner time to AFTER their bedtime and FaceTIMED the monitors while we ate. And that worked out muchhhh better for everyone!”

The post was met with widespread disapproval, despite a source telling Us Weekly that the families on the cruise had “rooms right next door to each other and they were taking turns being there,” adding that the kids, “were never alone and the use of the baby monitors was an extra precaution.”

Abby and Matt got married in July 2019 before welcoming their sons. Since becoming parents, the podcast hosts have shared their relationship and parenting highs and lows via their podcast as well as social media.

Andi Dorfman Explains Why Her Newborn Daughter Is 'Fully Formula Fed'

Andi Dorfman has taken to social media to explain why her newborn daughter, Harper, is “fully formula fed.”

Dorfman, 37, who gave birth to the child, her first and whom she shares with husband Blaine Hart, on December 20, 2024, candidly explained her feeding method via a series of Instagram Stories on Thursday, January 9.

Revealing that fans had DM’d her to see if she’d been breastfeeding her child, the former Bachelorette detailed her situation.

“Okay, first and foremost, my sister and I both were formula-fed babies. So I feel like that was kind of always within my plan,” Dorfman said. “And then I was going to use the breast pump in order to feed her breast milk, and that way I knew how much she was getting.”

Dorfman said that her baby’s unexpected stay within the NICU, where Harper was fed formula, altered her feeding plans.

“So I, in the hospital, tried to pump but my milk had not come in yet,” Dorfman continued. “She was actually doing really well on the formula so we brought a lot of that home from the hospital. I tried to pump a couple times when we got home and my milk supplies still had not come in yet.”

Dorfman went on, “So we just kept on the formula. And then, big wrench got thrown in the plans — as you know, I ended up having to have surgery myself. So that, I feel like, kind of stalled the pumping as well.” The reality TV star was referring to her return to hospital after she was discharged following her baby’s birth, as a result of two hematomas, which are closed wounds where bloody pools are unable to drain out, per Cleveland Clinic.

Dorfman, who married Hart in Italy in May 2023, said she tried to pump “one or two more times,” however was unable to produce any milk.

“Weird part is I never had pain,” Dorfman added. “I didn’t have any engorgements, I didn’t have those side effects that people talk about when they stop pumping. I just kind of skipped over that. I don’t know if that’s because my milk supply just never came in and wasn’t going to or if I kind of missed the window of opportunity or honestly if it was just the plan making its own plan. But here we are.”

Andi Dorfman Hospitalized With Hematomas 1 Week After Giving Birth

Dorfman added that Harper is thriving as she approaches one month in the world. “I hope this story helps somebody,” Dorfman said. “I don’t know why there’s so much judgment and stigma when it comes to breastfeeding or formula feeding or not doing one or the other. But that’s my story. We’re sticking to it.”

The new mom appeared on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season 18 of The Bachelor in 2014, before becoming the next Bachelorette. On her season, Dorfman got engaged to Josh Murray only to split from him within months.

NeNe Leakes Open to ‘RHOA’ Return if ‘Check Was on Point’

Could NeNe Leakes be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta yet again?

According to Leakes, 57, herself, there’s a possibility — as long as the price was right, among other contributing factors.

During an interview with TMZ, published on Friday, January 10, the reality TV star responded to RHOA superfan Cynthia Erivo’s recent call for Leakes to return to the series. “Cynthia, I love you, thank you so much and I totally agree,” she told the outlet.

When pushed on whether a return to the show was truly a consideration, Leakes expanded, “I don’t know, if the opportunity was right and the check was on point, why not?” before closing out her response with a cheeky laugh.

Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo, More Can't Get Enough of 'Real Housewives'

The topic was sparked by comments made by Erivo, whose favorite show is RHOA, during an interview with W Magazine that was published on January 3. The Wicked star told the outlet at the time, “I am a Nene Leakes fan. I love her. Where is she? Bring her back, please. She’s great.”

Leakes was one of the original cast members of RHOA, appearing in the first seven seasons of the hit Bravo series which premiered in 2008. Although she opted out of entering into season 8, Leakes made a cameo during the cast’s trip to Jamaica, and returned to the franchise for seasons 10 and 12 before saying a permanent goodbye in 2020.

Leakes told TMZ that she has “too many things” going on right now in her professional life. “Right now, Sierra [Gates, better known as Sierra Glamshop] and I are here in New York City promoting our new podcast,” Leakes detailed, referring to the Thursday, January 16 launch of the pair’s “Me & My Homegirl” podcast.

Former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Stars: Where Are They Now?

She added that RHOA fans can expect to hear the duo keeping it “1,000% real” as they talk about “any and everything, nothing is off limits, from pop culture to relationships to love to finances,” in addition to occasional guest stars.

Leakes also touched on the topic of remarriage following the death of her husband, Gregg Leakes, in 2021. “I don’t know about getting remarried, I don’t mind marriage and if I find the right one, I’m all theirs.”

Erivo, 38, isn’t the only celebrity fan of the Real Housewives franchise. Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are also self-proclaimed superfans, in addition to Colman Domingo, Jon Hamm and Jessica Chastain.

NeNe's Revelations on Carlos King's Podcast Part 1: 'RHOA,' Family Drama

Rihanna, 36, went so far as to demonstrate her support for her favorite iteration, the Real Housewives of New York, by wearing a piece of Leah McSweeney’s Married to the Mob streetwear items.

“You’re not exactly my demographic, so it’s all good. I already have Rihanna wearing my sh–, I don’t need you wearing my sh–,” McSweeney, 42, said on the show when her RHONY costar Ramona Singer took a dig at the clothing line.

The response then spurred Rihanna to share a photo of herself in a “Bitch Mob” shirt in addition to a clip from the scene and captioning the post via Instagram at the time, “What was said @ramonasinger?😂#RHONY.”

Madison LeCroy Shares What She Eats in a Day Doing 75 Hard

Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy shared her day on a plate while committed to the 75 Hard challenge.

LeCroy, 34, took to social media in the new year to shine a light on her meal plan while on the widely publicized wellness plan, which was created by author and entrepreneur Andy Frisella and involves sticking to six strict lifestyle rules for 75 days straight.

The reality TV star kicked off her 75 Hard journey early January and told her social media followers that she’s “been flooded with messages about meal plans” ever since.

“I want to clear a few things up,” LeCroy wrote via her Instagram Story. “Nothing fancy! The meals I’m sharing are exactly what they look like. If you see a turkey patty, it’s straight from the store — no secret recipes, no homemade sauces and definitely no lettuce fresh from my garden (because I don’t have one!). I simply make foods and meals I enjoy, especially when I’m working on a program like 75 Hard. I’m happy y’all are excited about it!”

LeCroy then included multiple screenshots of her meals, beginning with “Breakfast Day 1/75,” which featured a glass filled with green juice and a plate dotted with three slices of tomato, a heaped spoonful of cottage cheese and two boiled eggs sprinkled with seeds.

The post was then followed by “Lunch 1/75,” which included a turkey burger patty, “w/ this Carolina BBQ sauce … Salad w/ Annie’s goddess dressing … Rice … Lemon water,” in addition to a side salad of spinach leaves, sliced cucumber and sliced cherry tomatoes.

LeCroy, a trained hair and makeup stylist who joined Southern Charm during season 6 in 2019, then shone a light on the day’s dinner, capturing a plate filled with diced sweet potatoes, a small portion of fillet mignon steak and a side of caesar salad. She admitted in the dinner post that the meal was, “not my best, got home late!”

The 75 Hard challenge, which was formulated by Frisella in 2019 and promises to enhance your mental toughness, mental fortitude, confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, self-belief and grit by “100 times,” according to his website, also involves drinking a gallon of a water a day, not indulging in any cheat meals or alcohol, exercising twice a day, reading 10 pages of a book each day and taking a progress picture every day.

Regarding the meal portion of the challenge, subscribers are advised to stick to the same diet as it must be structured and followed consistently for all 75 days. It is unclear what LeCroy’s updated dinner ingredients entail.

One of the toughest elements of the challenge involves restarting from Day 1 if any of the six goals are missed.

Although the rules are rigid, LeCroy hasn’t let it stop her from enjoying the start of 2025. She posted photos of herself enjoying a hotel stay with son Hudson, who was born in November 2012 and with whom LeCroy shares with ex husband Josh Hughes, via her Instagram Story on Sunday, January 12.

LeCroy shared photos of the pair dining at The Charleston Place in South Carolina, as well as a look at two breakfast plates delivered to their suite via room service.

Lisa Kudrow ‘Recently Found’ Secret Note From Matthew Perry After His Death

Lisa Kudrow discovered a hidden note from Matthew Perry around one year after the actor passed away.

Kudrow, 61, told Drew Barrymore on the Tuesday, January 7, episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, that she “recently found” a note written to her by Perry while the pair were working on the final episode of Friends in 2004.

Perry, who died in October 2023 at the age of 54 after suffering acute effects of ketamine, had placed the note inside a cookie jar prop he had taken from the hit TV comedy series’ set. “Matthew gave that to me at the end of our last episode,” Kudrow told Barrymore, 49. “I had recently found the note that he had in it for me. I hadn’t opened it up or looked inside of it. But yeah, he did. He had a note in there and I forgot about it.”

Kudrow did not share what was written inside the note, but added that, “timing is everything.”

Lisa Kudrow Reveals She’s Rewatching ‘Friends’ for Matthew Perry

The cookie jar was a familiar prop on the Friends set, constructed to resemble a clock with the words, “Cookie Time,” written across it. Kudrow, who portrayed the eccentric Phoebe Buffay on the show, which began in September 1994 and spent ten years on TV screens, recalled a touching memory about the jar during her 2020 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“We were shooting a scene years before we finished,” Lisa told Kimmel, 57, on the talk show in May 2020. “My line was, ‘Ohhh, I’m late. I better get going,’ and it was too late when I realized I don’t have a watch. As the words were coming out I went, ‘Oh good there’s a clock,’ and I gestured to that [the cookie jar] and said, ‘Oh look at the time. I better get going.’”

Kudrow added that Perry, who portrayed the hilarious Chandler Bing, went up to her after her comment and said, “Did you point to the cookie jar and say, ‘Look at the time’?” to which both Kudrow and Perry laughed.

Lisa Kudrow Reflects on How She 'Bonded' With 'Brilliant' Matthew Perry

Perry’s death was ruled an accident two months after he was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home. The actor was pronounced dead on October 28, 2023.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office released a toxicology report concluding that Perry died from ketamine effects, with drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine (used to treat opioid use) listed as contributing factors.

In a tribute to Perry posted via Instagram on November 15 that year, Kudrow wrote, “Thank you for making me laugh so hard at something you said, that my muscles ached, and tears poured down my face EVERY DAY. Thank you for your open heart in a six-way relationship that required compromise. And a lot of ‘talking.’ Thank you for showing up at work when you weren’t well and then, being completely brilliant.”

Spencer Pratt’s sister, Stephanie Pratt, revealed her brother and his wife, Heidi Montag, lost their Los Angeles home as the Pacific Palisades fire continues to ravage the Los Angeles area.

According to an Instagram post from Stephanie, Montag, 38, and Pratt, 41, lost their property as the blaze took hold of the star-studded area on Tuesday, January 7. (TMZ was first to report on the news with sources telling the outlet the “entire family was able to safely evacuate earlier in the day.”)

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives of the couple for comment.

In the late hours of Tuesday, Stephanie, 38, shared that she was devastated for her family. “Honestly looking for advice. I’m frozen in shock. How horrible for my sweet little nephews to watch their house disappear like this. They must be so scared and confused,” she captioned a photo of the fire. (Pratt married his Hills costar in November 2008 and the pair share two sons, Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months.)

Spencer Pratt Thinks Heidi Would 'Upstage' the ‘Real Housewives' Cast

Stephanie, who also appeared on The Hills, posted an Instagram Story to expand on the news. “I am beyond heartbroken for my brother, Heidi & the kids,” Stephanie posted alongside a photo of Spencer watching the blaze. “Just spoke to my dad- he tried to save my brother’s house but the wind is so strong there was nothing he could do.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Spencer took to social media to share footage of the raging fire via his Instagram Story capturing a light aircraft flying through the sky and dumping water over the affected region as thick black smoke launched off mountains in the background and foreground.

TMZ, meanwhile, shared a video of Spencer standing outside his home, his mobile phone in hand as he watched the fire devastate his neighborhood alongside a loved one. At one stage during the clip, Spencer was seen wiping his eyes as either smoke or a fleck of ash affected his sight.

The footage then captured the blaze itself as Spencer was seen pointing out to indicate how close the fire had reached.

The out-of-control wildfire, which has burned through more than 1,200 acres in Pacific Palisades which house many celebrity residents, sparked local evacuations earlier on Tuesday.

Casino actor James Woods shared footage of the natural disaster before he evacuated his own property, taking to X to post a video of his surroundings and captioning it, “Leaving.”

USA Today reported on Tuesday that mass evacuation orders for “roughly 30,000” residents, in addition to power shutoffs, have affected the star-studded area. The fire was first reported at around 10 a.m. after it was seen gaining momentum along West Sunset Boulevard.

Eugene Levy evacuated “early” on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Steve Guttenberg, meanwhile, was seen taking action on Tuesday, spending significant time assisting fire crews by moving cars in order for emergency vehicles to access roads.

Guttenberg, 66, told KTLA in an interview filmed on the street, “I live right up the hill. I have friends up there right now, and they can’t evacuate because it’s stuck on Palisades Drive. There are families up there, there are pets up there, there are people who really need help.”

The fire also cancelled multiple scheduled events in the area including the premieres for Jennifer Lopez’s new film Unstoppable, and Wolf Man starring Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner.

Which Stars Have Been Affected by the Los Angeles Fires?

Los Angeles saw a frightening natural weather event — and its star-studded community has been heavily impacted.

An extreme wind storm, caused by Santa Ana gusts, sparked fast-burning brush fires at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, with drivers along Sunset Boulevard and Palisades Drive abandoning their cars to seek safety, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Local areas were evacuated, including the celebrity haven of Pacific Palisades, located about 20 miles west of Downtown L.A., where A-list stars are renowned for their sprawling luxury homes.

Stars including Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Bradley Cooper, Reese Witherspoon, Adam Sandler, Michael Keaton, Miles Teller, Michael Mann, Ann Sarnoff, Alan Bergman, Kathleen Kennedy and Carol Lombardini all reside in the exclusive enclave.

Why Was Jennifer Lopez's 'Unstoppable' Premiere Canceled?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the National Weather Service labeled the wind storm a “particularly dangerous situation … Red Flag Warning event.” This type of alert affected Malibu, the San Gabriel Valley, the San Fernando Valley, Beverly Hills, Hollywood Hills, the Santa Monica Mountains, the San Gabriel Mountains, Eastern Ventura Valley and coastal areas adjacent to the Sepulveda pass, per the outlet.

The Associated Press reported that more than 13,000 structures were put “under threat.” The origin of the fires has not been confirmed.

Below, see which celebrities have been affected by the wildfires:

Sandra Lee

The celebrity chef, 58, shared via Instagram Tuesday that the fires were nearing her house.

“My home in Malibu has got me through some of the darkest moments in my life. I have loved creating it, embellishing it, building it, caring for it, and protecting it,” she wrote. “I’ve cherished every moment I have had with it. As the fire draws closer, I pray for it — I pray for everyone in Los Angeles right now. What an incredibly terrifying moment for my community.”

Lee continued, “As the fire reaches our doorstep, please stay in contact with each other; Community in times like these is our lifeline. We are all safe but the fire is inching closer to my slice of heaven in Malibu.”

Kate Beckinsale

Beckinsale, 51, mourned the loss of her neighborhood via Instagram.

“Hearing the winds last night I prayed. I knew it would be bad — we had to evacuate many times during our life there — but the shock at the whole of the Palisades being destroyed is unthinkably horrific,” she wrote. “My daughter [Lily] and I lived there for most of her childhood and most of her childhood is gone. Her primary school, every shop or restaurant we used to go to with my parents and Michael [Sheen]’s parents — and devastatingly, most of her friends’ homes. My heart is broken.”

Cameron Mathison

The General Hospital star, 55, revealed his home was lost to the fires, posting via Instagram, “We are safe. But this is what’s left of our beautiful home. Our home where our kids were raised and where they wanted to raise their families someday.”

Mathison and his estranged wife, Vanessa Marie Arevalo, share son Lucas, 21, and daughter Leila, 18.

Steve Guttenberg

Mass evacuations, which have seen more than 30,000 locals leave their home in search of safer ground, affected actor Guttenberg, 66, who assisted firefighters by moving abandoned cars to nearby streets to improve emergency access. The Police Academy star said during an interview with KTLA on Tuesday, “I live right up the hill,” before pointing at visible flames. “I have friends up there right now, and they can’t evacuate because it’s stuck on Palisades Drive. There are families up there, there are pets up there, there are people who really need help.”

James Woods

Casino star Woods, 77, was also evacuated from his home, sharing photos and footage of raging flames via X on Tuesday.

One photo, which caught the flames and thick smoke gushing towards the sky, was captioned, “The view from one of our security cameras.”

A subsequent video was also captioned, “Leaving,” before another post from Woods read, “To all the wonderful people who’ve reached out to us, thank you for being so concerned. Just letting you know that we were able to evacuate successfully. I do not know at this moment if our home is still standing, but sadly, houses on our little street are not.”

Woods provided an update on the status of his home via X on Friday, January 10. “A miracle has happened,” the actor wrote alongside a video showing the view from his deck, which revealed the fire’s mass destruction to the surrounding houses.

“We managed to get to our property and our home, that we were told is gone forever, is still standing,” he continued. “In this hellish landscape ‘standing’ is relative, but smoke and other damage is not like the utter destruction around us.”

Eugene Levy

Levy, 78, was also evacuated. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times over the phone on Tuesday, the Schitt’s Creek star said, “The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon. I couldn’t see any flames but the smoke was very dark.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt

The actress, 45, posted an update on her home via Instagram, writing, “I have no words. Only prayers and holding as much hope as I can for our home and our kids while we watch everything burn. Thank you to every first responder fighting so hard for all of us. Thank you to every friend who reached out and new person I have hugged in tears in the last 24 hours. 💔🙏🏻.”

Hewitt and her husband, Brian Hallisay, share children Autumn, 11, Atticus, 9, and Aiden, 3.

Whitney Cummings

Cummings, 42, shared that her family is “OK for now but evacuating” on Wednesday. “Sometimes evacuating too soon just clogs the roads and makes it harder for LAFD but this fire is moving so fast that not the time to take chances,” she wrote via Instagram Story. “This changes everything forever.”

Maria Shriver

“Heartbreaking, devastating, beyond belief. Everything is gone. Our neighborhood, our restaurants. All our friends have lost everything,” Shriver, 69, wrote via Instagram Wednesday. ”We have evacuated, but are safe. But people have lost everything.”

Mandy Moore

Moore, 40, revealed she and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, evacuated their home with their three children — Gus, 3, Ozzie, 2, and Lou, 4 months — and animals. “Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night,” she shared via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, January 8. “Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel. Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don’t know if our place made it.”

Moore recently moved into the Spanish Revival home, after finishing a massive renovation.

Later on Wednesday, Moore revealed that her children’s’ school — among other community staples — had been wiped out.

“Love you, Altadena. Grateful for my family and pets getting out last night before it was too late (and endless gratitude to friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets),” she wrote via Instagram alongside footage from when she evacuated. “Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family. My children’s school is gone. Our favorite restaurants, leveled. So many friends and loved ones have lost everything too. Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together. Sending love to all affected and on the front lines trying to get this under control.”

Mark Hamill

Star Wars icon Hamill, 73, evacuated the area as well, posting an update via Instagram on Tuesday evening. “7pm – Evacuated Malibu so last-minute there (were) small fires on both sides of the road as we approached PCH,” he wrote of the Pacific Coast Highway.

Hamill also shared that his wife, Marilou York, and their dog, Trixie, arrived at their daughter Chelsea’s house “in Hollywood” at 8:15 p.m. “Most horrific fire since ’93,” he concluded, expressing hope that others would “stay safe.”

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt

Reality stars Montag, 38, and Pratt, 41, lost their property in the blaze, Pratt’s sister Stephanie Pratt revealed via Instagram on Tuesday.

“I am beyond heartbroken for my brother, Heidi & the kids,” she wrote. “And to all our friends and neighbours [sic] who have lost their houses today. Just spoke to my dad — he tried to save my brother’s house but the wind is so strong there was nothing he could do.”

Landon and Alabama Barker

Travis Barker’s children Landon, 21, and Alabama, 19, escaped their home amid the brushfire in the Pacific Palisades.

Landon gave an update to his followers via his Instagram Story on January 7, writing alongside a selfie, “Just evacuated praying for everyone the fires have effected [sic].”

Alabama also shared the news via her Instagram Story: “Just evacuated from my home due to the wild fires in Los Angeles, please be safe!! They are saying the fires are spreading football field amounts in seconds.”

Jamie Lee Curtis

Curtis, 66, shared an update on her area via Instagram January 7, posting, in part, “My community and possibly my home is on fire. My family is safe. Many of my friends will lose their homes. Many other communities as well.”

Following a heartfelt appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Curtis announced she would be donating $1 million to help all those impacted by the wildfires.

“My family is donating $1 million today to the relief efforts,” the actress shared in a Thursday Instagram post. “We are in contact with Governor [Gavin] Newsom, Mayor [Karen] Bass, and Senator [Adam] Schiff and I will post often about where you can send needed resources to reputable agencies.”

Josh Gad

Gad revealed on Wednesday that he has “never” seen anything “near” the amount of “devastation” the recent fires have brought in his 20 years living in Los Angeles.

It looks like it was lost in the fire last [night]. There’s a rainbow shining on it which I’m taking as a sign of hope for all creatures who have been affected by this tragedy. Emily Procter

The West Wing alum revealed during a CNN interview with Jake Tapper that she believes her home was destroyed in the fires.

“Selfishly, I wanted to be here to say we loved our neighborhood and we still do and it was an incredible community. We have evacuated, I believe our home is also gone — it was news I got from a stranger, which was a very surreal experience,” she told the news anchor. “But gosh, it was incredible on our way out, to see the people going in to help. And when I think about our neighborhood I think about fire station 69 and all of the firefighters that we knew; that held bake sales and toy drives … they’re as much a part of our neighborhood as anyone and I know what they’re having to do now must be extraordinarily difficult.”

Procter added that she is “grateful” her family was able to take “some clothes” and “a few necessary items” before they evacuated, but has quickly realized that people’s homes are “not structures” but are “actually microcosms of people’s lives.”

“I have an across the street neighbor who is pregnant and one whose son is applying for college and we have a new neighbor moving in and we were making plans to drop things off,” she said as tears welled up in her eyes. “I am so grateful to have survived, but it is my home. It is my neighborhood. It’s my community. What we mourn is our lives.”

“Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,” she wrote via Instagram on Wednesday. “This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.”

Despite the loss being “overwhelming” Hilton noted that she is filled with “gratitude” that her family is safe and sent her “heart and prayers” to “every family affected” by the fires.

“To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets,” she said. “My heartaches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable. To know so many are waking up today without the place they called home is truly heartbreaking.”

Hilton also noted that her 11:11 Media Impact Team, her non-profit focused on advocating for child protection, is “already reaching out” to other organizations to “figure out how we can best support the communities impacted.”

“We’re committed to offering help as soon as possible and making a meaningful difference for those who need it most,” she continued, before sending thanks to those working on the ground.

“To the brave firefighters and first responders risking their lives to protect us—you are true heroes. I am so grateful for your courage, dedication, and the incredible sacrifices you’re making to save lives and fight this unimaginable battle. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she concluded. “Please, everyone, stay safe and follow evacuation orders. Let’s protect one another and hold onto hope that these fires will soon be contained. Sending so much love and strength to all of you. We’re in this together, LA. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. You never know when everything could change.”

Hilton shared footage of what remained of her home via an emotional Instagram post on Thursday, January 9.

“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable.💔🥺 When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock—I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces.😢💔” she wrote.

Despite the loss, which she described as “devastating beyond words”, Hilton added that she was thankful that her loved ones were safe.

“And yet, in this pain, I know I’m incredibly lucky. My loved ones, my babies, and my pets are safe.🥹” she wrote. “That’s the most important thing, and I’m holding onto that gratitude with everything I have. Everybody needs to just evacuate. Go, go, go, go, go. Right now.”

After sharing that message, Hough updated her followers with a second video taken in a car. She was with her dog, Sunny.

“Sunny and I are safe and we’re driving, but the reason why I say ‘evacuate now’ even if it’s not close to you, if you have somewhere to go, because: There’s traffic,” she said. “And you’re gonna be stuck in traffic. And that is not good. So everybody, just please be safe and send prayers to all of the first responders and firefighters and just come together — you know, like, all you can do is be there for each other.”

“My heart is so broken, not just for myself, but for everybody going through this,” Melissa said, adding of the Pacific Palisades, “It’s a town, and it’s wiped off the map.”

“That is the end of everything that belonged to my family and the history of it,” Melissa told CNN. “I grabbed my mom’s Emmy, a photo of my dad [Edgar Rosenberg] and a drawing my mother had done of me and my son. … I went for a drawing of hers, rather than a photo. It was our heaven on earth. The place where we planned to grow old together. We never took our heavenly spot on the bluff overlooking our beloved malibu for granted, not even for one second.”

Lake called the loss “immeasurable,” noting it was where she and Burningham got married in 2022.

“I grieve along with all of those suffering during this apocalyptic event. Praying for all of my neighbors, my friends, my community, the animals, the firefighters and first responders,” she added. “More to share soon of how we escaped with Dolly and not much else. For now I grieve.”

The house that I put a key pad instead of a key hole in the front door because I wanted all my family and friends to have a code and use the house whenever they wanted. This is the house where I found peace after battling with racist neighbors and a community that made me have to buy it in a trust within a trust so no one would know that widowed, single Black woman with a teenager was buying on the exclusively-held beach. This was my EFF YOU I’m here house,” she wrote, in part. “It is gone. This is an unimaginable loss. ‘The View’ Star Sunny Hostin’s Husband Emmanuel Named in Fraud Lawsuit

Sunny Hostin’s husband, Emmanuel “Manny” Hostin, has been named in an insurance fraud lawsuit filed in New York City.

According to legal documents obtained by the Daily Mail and viewed by Us Weekly on Tuesday, January 7, Emmanuel, who married The View cohost in 1998, is one of almost 200 defendants included in the lawsuit filed with the New York Eastern District Court on December 17, 2024.

Listed as “Emmanuel Hostin, M.D.,” the orthopedic surgeon, based at New York’s Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West Hospitals, per U.S. Health, is accused of federal insurance fraud and “getting kickbacks by performing surgery and … billing a company that insured taxi companies and Uber and Lyft drivers,” as reported by the Daily Mail.

Us has reached out to representatives for Sunny and Emmanuel for comment.

Sunny Hostin’s Husband Was Not a Fan of Doug E. Fresh Dancing With Her

The lawsuit reads, “Hostin knowingly provided fraudulent medical and other healthcare services including arthroscopic surgeries.” The documents also allege that insurance firm American Transit was then billed “in exchange for kickbacks and/or other compensation which were disguised as dividends or other cash distributions.”

Emmanuel addressed the allegations via his attorney Daniel John Thwaites, telling the outlet that his client “denies each and every allegation.” Thwaites added that the lawsuit is a “blanket, scattershot, meritless lawsuit by a near-bankrupt insurance carrier.”

Thwaites offered further, “It is meant to intimidate and harass doctors from collecting for care given to American Transit insureds and their passengers. American Transit has rushed into the lawsuit without ever conducting an examination of Dr. Hostin or expressing any concerns to his lawyers. The real story here is about an insurance carrier abusing the legal system to limit and restrict health care benefits to its insureds and their passengers, and write off its proper obligations.”

Emmanuel and Sunny, 56, reside in Purchase, New York, and share two children — a son, Gabe, who was born in 2002, and a daughter, Paloma, who was born in 2006.

Sunny Hostin Shares the 1 Thing She Wishes She Had Done More as a Mother

Sunny, an attorney and multi-platform journalist who joined The View as a full-time cohost in 2016, has been candid about the various troubles her family has seen over the years. In January 2021, she revealed that Emmanuel’s parents both died from COVID-19 just weeks prior.

“Although I’ve chosen a very public career, as most of you know, those of you that know my husband, Manny, know that he is intensely private. But after speaking with him, he felt that from a public health standpoint it was very important for me to share that we are deeply saddened that Manny lost both of his parents over the holidays,” Sunny said on The View at the time.

Sunny added that her in-laws, Dr. Maria Jesus and Dr. A. Emmanuel, “were both physicians and they were both very careful” and “didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving with us because we all decided that it wasn’t safe. And after a lot of contact tracing, we still don’t know how they contracted this virus and this disease.”

According to the filing, American Transit is seeking at least $450 million in damages. An attorney for the company, William Natbony, told the Daily Mail, “‘No fault fraud is a huge problem in New York. American Transit filed a lawsuit as part of its statutory responsibility to fight such fraud.”

After sparking engagement rumors on the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes, Zendaya set tongues wagging all over again.

Eagle-eyed fans who looked beyond her sparkling ring on Sunday, January 5, took to social media to speculate over what appeared to be a small tattoo on the left side of her torso. Some claimed that the tattoo was of the letter T, serving as an ode to Zendaya’s boyfriend, Tom Holland.

One X user posted on Sunday, “Finding out that Zendaya has a tiny ‘t’ tattoo and an engagement ring was not on my golden globes bingo card … I’m so happy for my girl.” Other fans agreed that Zendaya, 28, did indeed seem to be branded with a lowercase T.

However, the mark also resembled an anchor, as noted by another X user who posted an anchor emoji and questioned the marking’s true meaning. “Isn’t it this tho,” the user wrote.

Us Weekly has reached out to Zendaya’s representative for comment regarding the engagement rumors.

The Challengers star, who met Holland while working on 2016’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, attended the awards ceremony on her own. She was nominated in the category of Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role as Tashi Duncan in Challengers but lost out to Demi Moore, who starred in The Substance.

Zendaya started the night wearing a custom Louis Vuitton gown and Bulgari jewelry but changed into a white halter-neck dress once inside the ceremony. In a photo taken alongside The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri inside the event, the tattoo was no longer visible.

Zendaya and Holland kept their relationship a secret for several years, going public five years after they met when photos of the pair being affectionate in a car surfaced. After their relationship was confirmed, a source exclusively told Us at the time that the pair’s friendship played a pivotal role in taking their connection to the next level.

Zendaya Sparks Tom Holland Engagement Rumors With Ring at Golden Globes

Zendaya and Holland have since shared sweet glimpses of their romance through the years. After being asked in February 2024 who from the Dune cast had the best “rizz,” Zendaya gave a sweet shout-out to Holland. “I don’t know. Rizz is short for charisma, right? Everybody’s kind of got their own,” Zendaya told BuzzFeed at the time. “I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but personally works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland.”

As for the topic of tattoos, Zendaya stated in a 2020 interview with Allure that, “I love tattoos … but I don’t want any.”

For Holland’s part, the Marvel star is known to have a spider tattooed to his foot as a tribute to his ongoing role as Spider-Man.

Nominated for his work in Queer, Daniel Craig went stag to the 2025 Golden Globes, leaving fans wondering where his wife, Rachel Weisz, was.

According to Craig, Weisz had a very good reason for opting out of the Sunday, January 5, event, sharing details into her no-show with Extra on the red carpet.

When asked by Extra’s Adam Glassman whether Weisz, 54, was, “with you tonight,” Craig, 56, replied, “She’s not, no, she’s getting our little one back in school.” Craig and Weisz, who got married in 2011, share a daughter, Grace, 6.

Craig — who was nominated in the category of Best Performance in a Motion Picture – Drama but lost out to Adrien Brody for his work in The Brutalist — and Weisz are famously private when it comes to family life. (Craig is also father to daughter Ella, 32, whom he shares with ex-wife Fiona Loudon, and stepdad to Weisz’s son, Henry, whom she shares with ex Darren Aronofsky.)

Golden Globes 2025 Red Carpet Arrivals: See What the Stars Wore

In a rare comment in April 2023, Weisz shed light into the couple’s home life, telling Stephen Colbert during an episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, “Daniel and our daughter have been watching Star Wars.”

The Constant Gardener star added, “It was like a father-daughter, kind of, bonding experience, and they started on the original ones.” Weisz then revealed that the youngster “got obsessed” and began asking her mother to Google things like, “What does Darth Vader look like under his mask?”

“She wants to know everything,” Weisz explained. “She’s obsessed with the mythology and these characters are so real for her.”

Weisz added that her daughter had also watched Craig’s brief cameo in 2015’s The Force Awakens, which involved Craig depicting a stormtrooper whom Daisy Ridley’s Rey performs a Jedi mind trick upon.

From Costars to More! Relive Rachel Weisz, Daniel Craig's Relationship

As for Craig, the actor shared insight of his own in November 2024, telling The New York Times he chooses acting projects that allow him to be at home as much as possible. “I’ve got a 6-year-old at home,” Craig told the outlet. “And I don’t want to be away from home as much as I have been in the past.”

Craig’s candid comments coincided with the release of his interview on The Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast, recorded mid-November 2024, which delved into Craig’s thoughts on his sophomore James Bond film Quantum of Solace.

Despite taking pride in the film’s “amazing stunt sequences,” Craig said he felt the movie “didn’t quite work” as a whole. “The storytelling wasn’t there,” he said at the time. “And that’s the abject lesson: going to start a movie without a script, it’s just not a good idea.”

Drag Race's Tyra Sanchez Slammed for Joke About Death of ‘The Vivienne’

RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Tyra Sanchez has been criticized for making a joke about the death of James Lee Williams, better known as The Vivienne.

The backlash was sparked when Tyra, formerly known as King Tyra and whose birth name was James Ross, took to X on Sunday, January 5, to respond to a 2020 tweet from The Vivienne that discussed Tyra, 36. Tyra’s joke was posted the same day that The Vivienne’s death was confirmed by their manager, Simon Jones, via Instagram.

The Vivienne’s 2020 tweet read, “Bet Tyra was fuming when she Realised Netflix Spoiled the win Too. Sorry gal. You Tried though,” to which Tyra replied on Sunday with, “Yet it doesn’t compare to the fumes of the crematorium.”

Fellow drag queen Kandy Muse, whose real name is Kevin Gabriel Candalario, responded to Tyra’s post, “I’ve defended you for years but now you can absolutely go f— yourself and if our path were to ever cross it’s absolutely on sight bitch, it’s not a threat it’s a promise. you disgusting person.”

Another X user commented, “You are disgusting … Shame on you,” and another wrote, “this was very twisted. As someone who used to admire you, this is so coldhearted and disappointing.”

The widespread criticism did nothing to dampen Tyra’s stance, however, as Tyra posted later that evening, “She’s dead. Rotting. Sending me all the hate in the world won’t bring her back. But you do as you must. Because of you the tweet has reached over 25k individuals. Thanks for the much needed attention that I oh so desperately needed.”

The Vivienne’s death shocked fans of the show who had followed the drag queen’s career path closely after they won the inaugural Drag Race UK series in 2019. Jones’ Instagram announcement on Sunday read, “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved James Lee Williams — The Vivienne, has passed this weekend. James was an incredibly loved, warm-hearted and amazing person. Their family are heartbroken at the loss of their son, brother and uncle.” The Vivienne was 32.

A cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Nelly Furtado

Nelly Furtado has entered 2025 feeling sexier in her skin than ever before.

Furtado, 46, took to social media on Sunday, January 5, to share two makeup-free photos of herself rocking a neon orange bikini. The Instagram carousel started with a front-on, full-length shot of the singer and closed with a selfie of Furtado snapping her frame from the side.

The “Maneater” hitmaker paired her post with a lengthy message that reflected on her experiences throughout 2024. “This year I became aware of the aesthetic pressure of my work in a brand new way , while simultaneously I experienced new levels of self -love and genuine confidence from within,” Furtado began before recalling that she took “legal action against a few charlatans” who were allegedly “selling health and beauty myths about me.”

Furtado offered no further details into the legal action before shifting into the subject of her appearance and revealing some recent dental work. “For whoever cares, I have never had any face or body surgeries or augmentation, besides for veneers on the top row of my teeth, quite recently,” Furtado wrote. “So far, I have not had any face or lip injections or fillers of any kind.”

Nelly Furtado Says She Endured ‘Abusive Qualities' in Past Relationship

She then discussed some long-held beauty secrets, including an “old school facialist” Furtado began seeing when she was 20 and drinking “a lot of water” plus sleeping on her back to ensure she looks fresh on red carpets and while professionally photographed.

“Sometimes on the red carpet or at photo shoots my makeup artist uses face tape to give my eyes, skin and makeup more lift,” Furtado also revealed in the post. “Sometimes my stylist uses body tape to give a certain look to different silhouettes. Body makeup can also sometimes be contoured to achieve a certain look. Makeup can do magical things! So can great eyebrows! So can a great hairstylist!”

Furtado — who shares daughter Nevis Gahunia with ex Jasper Gahunia and another daughter and son (whose names haven’t been publicly revealed) with ex Gerard Damien Long — added that she is proud of the “spider veins” her body possesses. “They remind me of my mom and aunties and life so I think that’s why I haven’t parted with them so far ❤.”

The musician concluded her candid post with an encouraging message to her fans. “Express yourself freely, celebrate your individuality and know that it’s perfectly OK to be OK with what you see in the mirror, and it’s also OK to want something different,” she wrote. “We are all cute little humans just bouncing around the earth looking for hugs.”

Lizzo is ready to tackle the new year with dialed-up confidence.

The “About Damn Time” singer, 36, took to Instagram on Sunday, January 5, to share two photos of herself dressed in a skimpy black bikini paired with a black shirt emblazoned with the words, “F— you.”

Lizzo captioned the carousel with a fierce mantra she’s committed to taking into this year. “2025 is the year of keeping the vibration on a higher frequency than what the world tries to lower it to,” she wrote. “Don’t subscribe to the bulls— just to make others feel comfortable 🤭 live truthfully and don’t hold back— it’s your world!”

While the first photo in the series captured the singer gazing sultrily into the camera while sipping on a coconut, the second shot presented a close-up of the coconut, etched with the script, “Case G3 Lizzo,” as she kept her face hidden behind the tropical fruit.

Lizzo Claps Back at Ozempic Rumors After ‘5 Months of Weight Training'

Lizzo followed it up with another, more revealing bikini post on Tuesday, January 7, when she shared a video via Instagram of herself doing wood therapy while flaunting her body in a black string two-piece.

In the clip, she rubbed oil over her stomach before pressing wooden body massagers all over her physique.

“I’m proud of the ways you’re deciding to show up for yourself,” she captioned the clip. “I’m proud of the boundaries you’ve set. Amazing things will happen to you today. 💕Now say that 3 times out loud💕.”

Her recent social media content cements Lizzo’s self-confidence era as she continues to show off her figure online after shutting down Ozempic accusations.

Lizzo Claps Back at Fat-Shamers: ‘This Is What My Body Looks Like’

The social media post cements Lizzo’s self-confidence era as she continues to show off her figure online after shutting down Ozempic accusations.

During the early months of 2024, Lizzo’s weight loss journey was attributed by some online fans to GLP-1 drugs primarily prescribed for adults who struggle with obesity. The speculation ran rife despite Lizzo telling The New York Times during an interview published in April of last year that she had been, “methodical, losing weight very slowly.”

The online rumors led to Lizzo addressing them head on in September 2024. “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” Lizzo wrote via social media at the time.

Lizzo stood up to the accusations just one month later by dressing up as Ozempic packaging for Halloween, revealing the costume via Instagram on October 26, 2024, and captioning it, “LizzOzempic dump.”

Lizzo Claps Back at Fat-Shamers: ‘This Is What My Body Looks Like’

Lizzo’s epic shutdown was amplified by her choice to bedazzle the packaging with her name in capitalized block letters. Furthermore, a tape measure was fastened around her waist to indicate a slim-down, and she also carted around a fake slice of pizza as an accessory.

As for Lizzo’s January 5, 2024 post, fans were quick to show their support for the musician’s unwavering body confidence. One Instagram user wrote in the comments, “Now THIS is what protecting your peace looks like! 👏🏾👏🏾Now tag the maker of that shirt please! 😂,” while another wrote, “STRONG, CONFIDENT and ENOUGH.🔥🔥.”

One particularly supportive fan commented, “Weight loss doin its thang gurl keep it up! Proud of u!!!”

Taylor Swift's Bass Player Amos Heller Offers Behind-the-Scenes Insight

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s almost-two-year Eras Tour run touched fans right around the world — including her longtime bass player Amos Heller.

Heller, 47, who joined Swift’s band in 2007, took to social media on Tuesday, December 10, to reflect on the highs and lows experienced throughout the tour.

Sharing a string of photos of himself and Swift, 34, performing at various locations, Heller captioned the Instagram carousel with a long and moving tribute as he detailed “the ride of a lifetime.”

Starting with some of the tour’s toughest demands, Heller wrote, “No more early lobby calls. No more airports. No more lugging a suitcase and Mono bag up an escalator, through a line, out of baggage claim. No more warming up, no more cooling down. No more looking at my watch 20 times to make sure I don’t miss a call. No more saying goodbye to my family, no more ‘how many sleeps now?’ No more jet lag.”

Taylor Swift's Bassist Reveals What 'Eras Tour' Book Club Is Reading

Heller’s tribute then moved into the challenges of traveling to far-flung corners of the globe as the Eras Tour, which delivered 152 shows across five continents after kicking off in March 2023, became the highest-grossing tour of all time.

“No more slipping into new languages, cultures, cuisines, accented pleasantries. No more snow in Tokyo, watch factories in Switzerland, museums in Sweden, bass shops in Australia, steaks in Rio, tattoos in Ireland, runs in Germany, flowers in Amsterdam,” Heller continued. “It’s done.”

The musician then moved into his most memorable highlights, including feeling like “a gladiator” while walking into any given stadium. “No more screaming lyrics with a perfect stranger who’s now your best friend. No more staring in awe at my family/friends who just moments ago were sharing a ridiculous joke, suddenly transformed into iconic titans, towering and thriving in the blinding lights,” he wrote. “No more being called upon to dig the deepest I can, requiring the very best I am capable of.”

Heller compared the tour’s final performance, staged in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8, to a “graduation” of sorts, before concluding his post with a message directed at Swift.

“You command so much respect and admiration from everyone who’s fortunate enough to add their effort to yours. Your blend of focus, heart, stamina and joy calls forth the best of everyone around you,” he wrote. “Thank you for trusting me with my part of your vision. It was the ride of a lifetime. I love you.”

Swift confirmed the final Eras Tour show on June 13, calling the experience, “the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life,” at the time.

During the announcement, which took place during the tour’s 100th show in Liverpool, England, she added that the tour had overtaken “everything” before thanking fans for their support.

“You have done so much to be with us, right?” Swift gushed at the time. “You’ve made plans so far in advance, you planned what you were going to wear, you memorized lyrics, you got yourselves here, you figured out parking, you figured out transportation.”

She continued, “I want to spend the 100th show just thinking about that and living in this moment with you and being here with you. Just know that I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you put in to be with us … So, thank you.”

Dancing With the Stars pro Ezra Sosa has jokingly suggested that the man suspected of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson become his season 34 partner.

Sosa, 24, took to TikTok on Tuesday, December 10, to share a smiling photo of the suspect, Luigi Mangione, to highlight the pair’s physical similarities.

Captioning the clip, “he finna be my partner season 34 🥵🙂↔🤤 #dwts,” Sosa also filmed himself merging into the photo of Mangione, 26, before shaking his head in laughter as he absorbed the pair’s mirrored hair and facial features.

Mangione is suspected of shooting and killing Thompson outside an entrance to the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel in New York City on Wednesday, December 4. After a five-day search, Mangione was arrested in Pennsylvania on Monday, December 9, while he was eating at McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Sosa isn’t the only high-profile personality to have been rocked by the shooting. Social media influencer Caroline Calloway claimed on Monday that she has her own connection to Mangione.

“OMG GUYS I LITERALLY F—ED THE UNITED HEALTHCARE CEO ASSASSIN,” Calloway, 33, wrote via X that day. In a subsequent tweet, she wrote, “Ok technically he was not an assassin when we f—ed. … That I know of. But still!!!!”

When a social media user referenced Derek Hough and Shawn Johnson East’s season 15 performance via TikTok last month, questioning if it was fair that the duo lost points after breaking hold during a quickstep performance, Sosa replied with his thoughts.

“The rules have gotten looser and looser each year!” Sosa wrote in response to the post on November 17. “Back than [sic] it wasn’t OK but now it is.”

50 Cent Shares AI Deepfake Video of Jay-Z and Diddy Getting Arrested

50 Cent
50 Cent

50 Cent has shared an AI-generated video depicting Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs getting arrested.

Taking to Instagram in the late hours of Tuesday, December 10, 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson), posted the deepfake and captioned it, “I want to post this but I’m afraid I’m gonna get shot. LOL 😆.”

The fabricated video, set to the track “Sound of Da Police” by rapper KRS-One, depicts Jay-Z, 55, and Diddy, also 55, attending a public event as police officers handcuff the pair and escort them out of the fictional room.

The pair are then falsely represented to be standing behind bars with champagne glasses in their hands.

50 Cent Weighs In on Jay-Z Rape Allegations, Whether Diddy Is ‘Cooked’

50 Cent’s followers were quick to comment on the video post, with one fan writing, “🤯 Whoever showed 50 how to use AI just opened up a whole new can of worms,” and another penning, “You can tell 50 has no skeletons in his closet the way he calls out everyone. Real one 💪.”

The deepfake post comes after Jay-Z and Combs were accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in the early 2000s, via a civil lawsuit refiled on Sunday, December 8, by an anonymous woman. The alleged incident was said to have occurred at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty. Both Jay-Z and Diddy have denied the accusations, while Diddy has also denied all allegations lodged against him since his September 16 arrest.

Diddy and Jay-Z
Diddy and Jay-Z

This is not the first time 50 Cent has mocked Jay-Z and Diddy’s recent legal troubles. After Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé attended the Mufasa premiere in Hollywood on Monday, December 9, with Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, and the pair’s daughter, Blue Ivy, 50 Cent shared photos from the outing via social media.

“Jay said they said I rapped [sic] a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL,” 50 Cent captioned a since-deleted Instagram post.

Earlier that day, 50 Cent also appeared to allude to the controversy via a post on his X account which referenced the Super Bowl, sharing a popular meme of himself driving away in a car. “Ok I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl. 😟,” 50 Cent captioned the X post. “I’m just asking for a friend.”

50 Cent Mocks Jay-Z Attending Premiere With Family After Rape Allegations

While the frivolous jabs keep coming, 50 Cent also expressed genuine concern for Jay-Z’s legal issues in an interview with radio host Big Boy for the Monday episode of BigBoyTV.

Clarifying his X post, 50 Cent said he was curious as to what the allegations mean for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show, set to be headlined by Kendrick Lamar. “I’m asking for Kendrick. I’m just trying to figure if we’re still doing everything,” 50 Cent explained. (Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has produced the halftime show since 2020.)

50 Cent also predicted that the NFL may cut its partnership with Jay-Z altogether. “They will fall back … the NFL, they won’t necessarily be associated to that,” 50 Cent said in the interview.

'17 Diapers' Mom Under Investigation by CPS After Video of Son Flinching

Hannah Hiatt
Hannah Hiatt

TikTok personality and mommy influencer Hannah Hiatt is being investigated by police following reports made via Child Protective Services.

According to People, Hiatt, known online as “Nurse Hannah,” was the subject of “numerous reports through Child Protective Service and police,” after posting a video of her 2-year-old son, James, appearing to “flinch and hide his face while his dad walks toward him” via TikTok. Utah’s Ogden Police Department spoke with the outlet on Tuesday, December 10. (The since-deleted video was posted last month.)

The police department told the outlet that “there is an open, active investigation” into Hiatt, who first rose to fame after revealing the 17 dirty diapers she had lying around her house in October, and that “a detective [is] assigned to the case.”

Us Weekly has reached out to the Ogden’s Utah Police Department for comment.

YouTube Star Ruby Franke Arrested for Alleged Abuse: 5 Things to Know

The outlet noted that the investigation comes as a result of “a slew” of reports made to authorities after the video went live. Before it was removed, the TikTok attracted hundreds of comments detailing fans’ concern for the toddler.

A follow-up video posted by Hiatt on November 30 started with her addressing the attention her original video received. “The fact that I even have to address this right now is kind of insane,” the influencer said.

Hannah, who often posts about her “lazy husband,” Braxton Hiatt, and has attracted more than 437,000 TikTok followers as a result, continued, “If you were to know me in real life, this whole lazy husband thing, it’s satire.”

She then offered followers more detail into her husband’s personality, describing him as the “sweetest, nicest, kindest, most loving, most nurturing father in the entire world.”

“He [Braxton] is playing on the ground with James, like, 90% of the day,” Hannah added. “If that man is not laughing, having fun, teasing him, playing with him, whatever it is, then something’s wrong because those two have the strongest bond … that I know of anyone else.”

Ruby Franke Sentenced to Up to 60 Years in Prison for Child Abuse

Hannah’s initial follow-up video sparked a second follow-up video, posted just one day later on December 1, which rejected fan comparisons to former social media influencer Ruby Franke, who was convicted of four counts of aggravated child abuse in February. “The fact that I’m even being compared right now to Ruby Franke is absolutely comical,” Hannah said in the second video. “It’s hilarious, really. We live in a world … where people will turn nothing into something.”

Comments were disabled on the two follow-up videos.

As for Hiatt’s October “17 diapers” video, the social media star told People at the time that she did not predict the post would resonate the way it did. “I just pulled out my phone and filmed a funny video. I didn’t think it was going to be controversial or honestly attract attention whatsoever.”

Kate Cassidy Returns to TikTok With Video Tribute to Liam Payne

Liam Payne and Kate Cassidy
Liam Payne and Kate Cassidy

Kate Cassidy has returned to TikTok with an emotional tribute to her late boyfriend, Liam Payne.

Cassidy, 25, took to the social media platform on Sunday, December 8, to share a compilation video of time spent with the late One Direction star, who died at the age of 31 after falling from a Buenos Aires hotel balcony on October 16.

Captioning the post, “I love you,” the influencer began with footage of herself and Payne blowing kisses to the camera before sharing moments from various outings. The couple were also seen dancing together, arms wrapped around one another, in another touching moment.

Quiet moments were also spliced with a series of lighthearted memories, including footage of Payne, who traveled with Cassidy just two weeks prior to his death, dragging his amused girlfriend’s legs around a kitchen floor and bowling with her.

Editing together one and a half minutes’ worth of footage in total, Cassidy also included clips of Payne goofing around in front of the camera, lounging with her on the couch and sleeping beside her in bed.

The video was set to a 1993 track by Mazzy Star titled “Fade Into You.”

Cassidy’s return to TikTok comes after she was last seen appearing to contain her emotions while out walking in central London after Payne’s November 20 funeral. Dressed in a long coat and sweatpants, Cassidy was seen in photos obtained by the Daily Mail on November 29 as she visited a coffee shop and strolled with a coffee cup in her hand.

Cassidy, who was first linked to Payne in October 2022, was one of many famous faces in attendance at the funeral, including Payne’s former One Direction bandmates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. Cheryl Cole, Payne’s ex who is the mother of Payne’s son Bear, 7, was also there, as were James Corden and Simon Cowell.

Us Weekly confirmed on October 16 that Payne died after falling from his third-story hotel balcony. Buenos Aires emergency services chief Alberto Crescenti announced that the singer suffered “serious injuries” that were untreatable by the time first responders arrived on the scene.

Kate Cassidy 'Always Stuck by' Liam Payne, Feels Guilty Leaving Argentina

Payne’s friend Rogelio “Roger” Nores was among three people charged with abandonment leading to death and the supply and facilitation of narcotics in connection to Payne’s death last month. “I never abandoned Liam. I went to his hotel 3 times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened,” Nores told the Daily Mail in a November 7 statement. “There were over 15 people at the hotel lobby chatting and joking with him when I left. I could have never imagined something like this would happen.”

TMZ reported on Tuesday, December 3, that a judge is allowing Argentina national prosecutors to continue their investigation into Nores’ role in Payne’s death. Nores’ team, however, filed documents of their own stating that his case should instead be handled by Buenos Aires local prosecutors.
