Emily Simpson is showing off her brand new chop this Christmas.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 48, debuted her new short haircut in a series of photos shared via Instagram on Wednesday, December 25.

“Who cuts their hair off on Christmas Eve?! Me,” she captioned a selfie via her Instagram Story, where she showed off her dramatic cut.

Simpson, who normally sports longer locks, explained more about her salon experience in a transformation video on social media posted on December 28.

“Thank you to @riri_roya for always indulging my ever changing hair whims… ,” she wrote in the caption, tagging her stylist.

Simpson explained her choice to get such a big change during the holiday season, adding that she didn’t walk into the salon intending to make such a big statement.

“I went to @riri_roya on Christmas Eve… just for a blowout, and came out with shorter, darker hair,” she said.

Simpson also asked her fans for their thoughts on her varying looks. “What do you think?” she asked in the caption. “Darker or lighter? Shorter or longer??”

Simpson also posted photos of her and her children, Annabelle, 11, and twin sons Luke and Keller, 8.

“Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Friends!” she captioned her post. “I hope your day with your family is magical .” She added, “Hair color and cut by @riri_roya @salonbyriri.”

Simpson also got some love from other Bravolebrities in her comment section.

“Love it! ,” wrote Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi. “I loved it when I cut mine this length in May .”

The Real Housewives of Miami star Guerdy Abraira, also chimed in, writing, “Wow love your hair.”

This is Simpson’s second winter look switch-up. On November 21, she posted on her Instagram Story that she was opting for a new color.

“New Hair!” she wrote in the caption. “Should I go darker or lighter?” In another Instagram Story, she posted about her color choice writing, “Let’s go for coffee colors,” alluding to her choice of colors titled “espresso” and “americano.”

Simpson last cut her hair in May of 2023. She later revealed that she made the cut after the passing of her beloved dog, Fisker.

In a July 2023 Instagram Q&A, Simpson explained why she opted for such a short hair cut at the time.

“Two days later I had a hair appointment and couldn’t stop crying,” wrote Simpson, explaining that her change was related to the sadness she was feeling. “I asked her to remove all my extensions and cut my hair. I felt so heavy with grief that for some reason cutting off my hair felt therapeutic.”

The reality TV star and mother of seven is taking some time to heal following a recent breast reduction surgery.

Lowry, 32, shared a selfie via Instagram Story this month, where she was wearing a supportive bra and wrote in the caption, “4 days post op.” She also posed a poll to her followers, asking, “Do you want breast reduction videos?” with the options of “yes” or “not really.”

The “Barely Famous” podcast host had recently clued fans in to the surgery, posting another snap via Instagram Story of herself in bed days earlier, with the caption, “Out of surgery; lots of videos to come.”

Lowry has been open in the past about her desire to have her breasts surgically reduced.

During a May 17 episode of her podcast, Lowry spoke openly about the conversation she had with her doctor about weight loss and the procedure.

“I want to get a boob job, right? I call around. I’m making these consultations to get a boob job,” she explained. “You know what they told me? They told me I need to lose 40 lbs. So 40 or 50 lbs., more like 50, but maybe get away with 40 lbs., before they can even operate on me.”

“I’ve been wanting to do this breast reduction, implants, lift, whatever it is,” she said. “[My doctor] was like, ‘Do you still want to schedule this?’ I’m literally sobbing. Already the water works have started.”

A few days following the release of the podcast episode, Lowry spoke further on this via Instagram. She posted a clip of her telling the story on her podcast alongside a caption where she explains in more detail what she was told by her doctor.

“What they actually said was my BMI is entirely too high to operate so when I did the math it comes down to needing to lose between 40-50 lbs .”

Lowry spoke about breast reduction surgery as early as 2018 on her “Coffee Convos” podcast.

“When my trainer came here the other day, he took all my measurements to do the weight loss stuff, I was like, he went to obviously measure my chest and stuff too, checking everything,” she said, adding that she was “super nervous and hopeful that I can get the surgery.”

Lindsay Arnold is getting candid about her breast augmentation journey.

The 30-year-old Dancing With The Stars alum opened up about her upcoming surgery in a TikTok video posted on Friday, December 27.

In her video, Arnold spoke about the timing when it came to her going under the knife. Despite originally wanting to wait until after she and husband Sam Cusick were “done having kids,” Arnold later changed her mind.

Arnold and Cusick, who have been together since high school, share daughters Sage, 4, and June, 15 months.

On Friday, Arnold said that she doesn’t feel like it’s the right time for her and her husband to try to have a third child, which allows time to get her breast augmentation and lift.

“I just decided I didn’t want to wait,” she explained. “Obviously [I] know there are chances I’d maybe need to get a lift later on in life or whatever, but I just don’t want to wait anymore. … We’re just putting [family planning] on pause a bit longer.”

“The skin is there, it just has nothing inside of it,” she admitted. “I really just want to, kind of, fill out the size that I already have and create fullness and volume so that it stays that way when I’m not wearing a bra.”

Arnold announced her plans to get the procedure in a Thursday, December 26, TikTok video.

“My Christmas present this year is that I’m getting a breast augmentation,” Arnold said at the time. “Guys, I’m freaking out, but I’m also so excited. That is happening in, like, a little over two weeks. I am turning 31 on January 11, and Sam and I are going to Mexico for a little getaway. We’re doing three nights and then we get home. The next day, I am getting my breast augmentation. I am also getting a lift.”

Tom Hardy is not about to leave his teammates hanging.

According to London’s The Sunday Times, the Peaky Blinders alum offered to help out the crew on his new show Fixer, when they were told there was no money to pay them.

Contractors spent the past summer building sets for Hardy’s new Paramount + show. 50 workers were employed for the project by a company called Helix 3D which, despite being paid by 101 studios and MTV Studios, was ultimately unable to pay their employees.

The lost wages amounted to £250,000, or $315,000 USD. A leaked WhatsApp message from December allegedly showed that Helix 3D did not have the money to pay its contractors.

“He offered to [pay],” a source close to Hardy told The Times. “But the production and Paramount have sorted the payment.”

A source at Paramount told the outlet that the studio was “outraged” when they learned about the situation and were working to pay the employees.

The Times also published excerpts from a letter written by union organizer Chris Hudson to the Helix 3D Chief Executive Brian Dowling before the payment situation was resolved.

“Our members deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and compensated on time for their work. It is wholly unacceptable that they are facing significant financial precarity, particularly ahead of Christmas,” wrote Hudson.

Hudson, who works for the Broadcasting, Entertainment, Communications and Theatre Union, said that the financial situation could affect the mental health of its members around the holidays.

“This close to Christmas, our members are rightly very distressed, with many fearing they will be unable to cover necessities,” he wrote. “I trust you can appreciate the significant impact this is also having on their mental health.”

Hudson has also criticized the lack of communication from Helix 3D.

“What does seem to have been avoidable was the lack of foresight that this situation could occur, given the serious financial trouble Helix was in,” he continued. “What was also avoidable is the lack of information and transparency granted to our members throughout their employment as to Helix’s current state of affairs.”

Fixer, which also stars Dame Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan alongside Hardy, will be helmed by Guy Ritchie. The director, producer and screenwriter has had hits such as The Gentlemen, Sherlock Holmes, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E

Lindsey Hubbard and her boyfriend don’t currently live together — but that doesn’t mean it’s off the table.

The Summer House star recently gave birth to her first child, daughter Gemma, on December 8. In an interview published by People on Saturday, December 21, the 38-year-old reality star opened up about her living situation as a new mom.

She says that while she and her boyfriend don’t live together “he has spent the night and has been by my side 24/7 for the entire past month.”

“For Christmas, we’re not really doing anything because we can’t. She’s too fresh and too new to be exposed to too many people right now; we can’t travel until she gets her vaccines, which is at two months,” she said. “So we’re just going to have a very quiet, nice Christmas holiday at home.”

Laura Harrier is setting the record straight on any dating speculation.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming star posted on TikTok in a now-deleted video, where she spoke about Shameik Moore sharing a video of the two of them.

Harrier continued with her message, saying, “I’m in Hollywood, I get it. People do PR stunts, whatever. People like to get attention.” She also described her first reaction to seeing Moore’s post.

“When he first posted that video, a friend sent it to me and was like, ‘Did you know he put this up?’ And I was like, no,” she explained. “That was taken a year ago at a party when somebody asked us to take photos together and I guess somebody was filming it. Not sure why you would post that now.”

She said that had then texted Moore, requesting that he take down the video. She had told him that she didn’t like the “insinuation that something’s going on between us, if that was your intention.”

In Harrier’s post, she spoke about the fact that the video was still online.

“It’s still up, which is f—ing weird,” Harrier said. “You’re a f—ing weirdo! I’m sorry, you’re a f—ing weirdo. And I’m f—ing annoyed. So, I just wanted to say something because I don’t like that. I don’t like that.”

Moore has since deleted the post, and posted an apology video on X, calling it a “misunderstanding.”

“This is all a misunderstanding, unfortunately, it’s public,” Moore explained in a video he shared via X on Friday. . “It’s really the fan-fiction, it’s the commentary, that’s what’s f*cking weird. I mean no harm. I have no ill intent. You know it’s about art for me, the video had the aesthetic of the song. That’s it, it wasn’t insinuating a relationship. I apologize for the misunderstanding, I do.”

Maisie Peters is taking some time to care for her mental health.

The singer-songwriter, 24, posted on social media that she would no longer be joining country star Kelsea Ballerini on her upcoming tour. This is Ballerini’s first arena tour.

“As most of you know, I’ve been on the road a lot over the past few years, and the constant travel has really taken a toll on my mental health,” Peters wrote in a text post shared via Instagram and X. “After giving it a lot of thought, I’ve made the tough decision to step back for now and focus on taking care of myself.”
Peters continued with her heartfelt message to fans, writing that her decision to leave the tour was difficult.

The “Midnights” singer recently donated $250,000 to Operation Breakthrough, a Kansas City-based organization that helps families in need.

While Swift, 35, didn’t publicly speak about the donation, the organization which received her generous gift posted about it on social media.

“Thank you, @taylorswift13, for making our holiday season shine even brighter!” wrote Operation Breakthrough via X. “Your kindness and thoughtful 250K donation means the world to our children and families.”

Based in Kansas City, Missouri, Operation Breakthrough is an organization that aids local families in need. Swift’s local gift makes sense as the pop star has been spending more time in the city since she began dating Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce in 2023.

Alongside the tweet, Operation Breakthrough posted a video montage of children thanking Swift for her gift.

This isn’t Swift’s first foray into the season of giving. She and Kelce recently visited a children’s hospital in Kansas City, meeting the young patients and posing for photos with them.

Swift has a history of charitable donations. After the devastation caused by Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helene in Fall of 2024, she gave $5 million dollars toward recovery efforts.

Back in February of 2024, Swift made another local donation to the Kansas City community. Following the shooting that killed one woman at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade, Swift gave $100,000 to the family in two installments through their GoFundMe. Kelce donated money to the family as well.

Kristen Doute is opening up about her past relationship with James Kennedy.

The Vanderpump Rules alum spoke about Kennedy, 32, on a Saturday, December 21, episode of her “Balancing Act” podcast, which she co-hosts with fiance Luke Broderick.

“So I want to talk about something very briefly, it’s going to start with a very unpopular opinion,” Doute began. “I’m sure a lot of you have been keeping up with the James Kennedy news that I’ve been fairly quiet about.”

Doute noted that her heart was “beating so fast as I’m talking about it,” saying she doesn’t speak to Rachel “Raquel” Leviss “at all,” but she has “read some things that she has been speaking out about” with regards to Kennedy. Doute added that she has resonated “very much with some of the things Rachel has recently said.”

Doute was an original Vanderpump Rules cast member and began dating Kennedy in 2014 before the pair split in September 2015. Doute has since moved on and is expecting her first child with Broderick.

“I know I said very little at this point about the James situation,” Doute said on her podcast, adding that it was “for good reason.” She noted that it was “triggering” for her, adding, “I have battled with speaking out to help with my healing, and also needing a break to maintain my peace in this pregnancy.”

Doute added that she “has some things to say,” and will address them soon, saying, “For now, I want to say: James Kennedy, domestic abuse is not a ‘challenging moment,’ and for Ally: I hope you have all the support that you deserve.”

This isn’t Doute’s first statement following Kennedy’s arrest. On Thursday, December 12, she posted an article about Kennedy’s arrest via her Instagram story, writing, “Finally” in the caption.

On Tuesday, December 10, Burbank police were dispatched to Kennedy’s home which he shares with girlfriend Ally Lewber.

According to police records obtained by People, an anonymous woman said that “her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground.” Kennedy was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence.

“I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life,” Kennedy wrote via Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 17, after his arrest. “I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones.” He also said that “navigating challenging moments is not easy but I am determined to learn, grow and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”

In a statement to Us Weekly, Kennedy’s attorney’s said they were “in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,” adding, “We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”

In a new interview with The Sunday Times published on Saturday, December 14, the Duchess of York, 65, spoke about her relationship with Prince Andrew.

“I was totally and utterly in love with Andrew,” she told the outlet of the early years of her relationship with Andrew, 64. “I would do it all over again, 100 percent. He’s the best, a great man with a great heart, and kind. Our wedding was the best day of my life. But I gave up my anonymity that day. I was able to because love conquers all. It’s still with us today. I won’t let him down.”

As for Ferguson, she further reflected on the earliest days of her and Andrew’s relationship while speaking with The Sunday Times.

The Hollywood Hills home is being listed for $17,995,000, according to Zillow. It was also the site where Murphy was found collapsed on December 20, 2009. The Clueless actress was then taken to the Cedars-Sinai hospital where she died the same day.

At the time, it was found that Murphy died from a combination of pneumonia, anemia and prescription and over the counter drugs.

In a 2021 episode of the “We Need To Talk About Britney” podcast, her former makeup artist Julianne Kaye described her experience with the singer.

“[Spears] had that place up on Sunset Plaza — and I’m just gonna say, this is really weird … She calls me … I had my friend do reiki healing on her,” said Kaye at the time. “He had come up; I guess she’d had a crazy partying weekend and needed to relax. Jamie Foxx is speaking out after an incident that happened over his birthday weekend.

The actor, 57, shared a statement via Instagram on Sunday, December 15, following an altercation at a Beverly Hills restaurant the evening prior.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are both Hollywood A-listers, but they’re committed to giving their kids a regular life.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on Friday, December 13, the Deadpool actor opened up about his family.

Reynolds and Lively share four children together: daughters James, 9, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, as well as a son, Olin, whom they welcomed in early 2023.

“We try to give them as normal a life as possible,” Reynolds told the outlet.

In an interview with E! News, Scott Patterson, who played the cranky yet lovable Luke on Gilmore Girls, explained why he felt a spinoff wouldn’t work.

“I brought this up to Peter Roth [Warner Bros] once advocating for my own spinoff and he told me something steeped in TV history wisdom,” Patterson explained. “He said, ‘Scott, people would miss the other characters so much, because the show is so chock full of rich, wonderful characters.’”

Patterson went on to say that he appreciated Roth’s advice, noting, “And boy was that a smart thing to say because he nailed it.”
