Who Is Lilly Jay 5 Things to Know About Ethan Slaters Ex Wife

Before Ethan Slater began dating Ariana Grande, he spent more than four years married to his high school sweetheart, Dr. Lilly Jay.

Slater and Jay tied the knot in 2018 and share a son, born in fall 2022. Less than a year later, they split up, and Slater’s relationship with Grande became public knowledge.

Jay opened up about their public split in an essay for The Cut, published on Thursday, December 19, titled How Does My Divorce Make You Feel? The title is a reference to her work as a clinical psychologist.

“No one gets married thinking they’ll get divorced,” she wrote, “But I really never thought I would get divorced. Especially not just after giving birth to my first child, and especially not in the shadow of my husband’s new relationship with a celebrity.”

Ethan Slater and Lilly Jay's Relationship Timeline

She went on to detail how her work and personal lives mixed during some of her most difficult moments. Jay wrote that while her job made her aware of the statistics surrounding the vulnerability of marriage immediately after having children, “I didn’t understand the growing distance between us.”

Jay first made headlines in 2023, shortly after her split from Slater, when she publicly blasted Grande.

“[Ariana’s] the story, really. Not a girl’s girl,” she told Page Six. “My family is just collateral damage.” Sources have subsequently claimed that there was no overlap in the relationships.

She added that her focus remained with her son, who was 11 months old at the time. Neither Jay nor Slater have revealed the baby’s name.

Jay stressed that she and Slater remain on the same page as parents.

“While our partnership has changed, our parenthood has not,” Jay wrote in her essay. “Both of us fiercely love our son 100 percent of the time, regardless of how our parenting time is divided.”

Jay Struggled to Cope With ‘Wicked’ Press

Jay also admitted that she struggled to cope with the promotion of Wicked, which released in theaters in November.

“As for me, days with my son are sunny,” she wrote. “Days when I can’t escape the promotion of a movie associated with the saddest days of my life are darker.”

Slater and Grande met shortly before filming for Wicked began in 2022 and Us Weekly confirmed their relationship in July 2023.

“Ariana and Ethan have only recently begun seeing each other but they have a lot of fun together and are enjoying each other’s company,” a source told Us at the time.

Slater filed for divorce on July 26.

Dennis Rodman’s Dating History: Madonna, Carmen Electra and More

Dennis Rodman Dating History 546
Dennis Rodman, Madonna.

As one of the greatest rebounders ever to play in the NBA, Dennis Rodman made the tabloids just as often as he made SportsCenter. Known as a magnet for controversy, Rodman, now 63, had well-publicized romances with Madonna, Carmen Electra and more.

And with every confirmed relationship Rodman has had with an A-list celebrity, there seems to be another rumored fling.

Though best known as a member of the Chicago Bulls from 1995 to 1998, Rodman also played a season with the Los Angeles Lakers in 1999, during which time he said he dated Jeanie Buss, who is now the team’s owner. Buss has refuted that, saying her father, then-owner Jerry Buss, tasked her with keeping Rodman out of trouble, and their relationship went no further than that.

Rodman was also tied to Toni Braxton and Vivica Fox, though both have also denied dating the basketball legend.

Annie Bakes

Rodman and model Annie Bakes began dating in 1987 and married in 1992. Though their marriage lasted just 82 days, it was marred by accusations of abuse and infidelity. The two share daughter, Alexis Rodman, 36.

Madonna

Rodman had a brief but very public relationship with Madonna in 1994 while he was playing for the San Antonio Spurs.

Since the two split, Rodman has been forthcoming about the relationship, detailing their sex life and insisting that she once offered him $20 million to impregnate her.

“We never had any problems. It was one of the easiest relationships I’d ever been in,” Rodman wrote in his 1996 memoir, Bad As I Wanna to Be.

Rodman later claimed he ended the relationship because he did not want to be the pop legend’s “boy-toy.”

Rodman and Electra began dating in 1998 and married later that year in Las Vegas. Nine days after their wedding, Rodman filed annulment papers. They later reconciled but ultimately divorced in 1999.

Their relationship came back into the public light when the 2020 docuseries The Last Dance aired on ESPN, chronicling the Bulls’ 1998 championship season. During the 1998 NBA Finals, Rodman unexpectedly left the team to party with Electra in Vegas for 48 hours.

“One thing about Dennis: he had to escape,” she said in the series. “He liked to go out, he liked to go to clubs. We’d go to his favorite restaurant, then we’d go to a nightclub, then we’d go to after-hours. It didn’t stop.”

When Rodman didn’t return to the team, the Bulls sent none other than Michael Jordan to Las Vegas to retrieve him.

Michelle Moyer

Dennis Rodman Dating History Michelle Moyer

Rodman and Moyer met in 1999 and married in 2003. They share two kids together, son Dennis Rodman Jr., 23, and daughter Trinity Rodman, 22.

The couple decided not to live together during their marriage, instead opting to live two miles apart.

“We won’t live together. I like it like that. She and the kids come over on weekends,” Rodman told the Los Angeles Times in 2003.

Though Moyer filed for divorce in 2004, the two reconciled before their marriage ended for good in 2012. After their divorce, news broke that Rodman was headed to court for unpaid child support and spousal support totaling $860,376. Though he could have faced a 20-day jail sentence, Rodman ultimately got 104 hours of community service and three years of informal probation.

Alicia Douvall

Rodman dated the model and reality TV personality Douvall in 2004 while he was still married to Moyer. Douvall later claimed the two were even engaged, which Rodman denied.

Douvall, also known for her numerous plastic surgeries, later had a much-publicized relationship with Simon Cowell, with whom she claimed she “ended up doing it 11 times in one night.”

Former Chicago Cubs Slugger Sammy Sosa Admits 'Mistakes' in Apology to Fans

Sammy Sosa

Former Chicago Cubs slugger Sammy Sosa says he “made mistakes” during his 18-year Major League Baseball career in a statement that some observers interpreted as an acknowledgment of past steroid use.

Sosa, 56, hit 609 career home runs, good for ninth on the MLB all-time list. But as dominant as he was, his legacy has been tarnished by accusations that he used steroids, particularly during the famous 1998 home run chase where he and Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals both broke what was then the single-season home run record.

McGwire finished that season with a then-record 70, while Sosa hit 66. He retired in 2007 and, because of his suspected use of performance enhancing drugs, is not in the Hall of Fame.

“I understand why some players in my era don’t always get the recognition our stats deserve,” Sosa said in a statement on Thursday, December 19.

He added, “There were times I did whatever I could to recover from injuries in an effort to keep my strength up to perform over 162 games. I never broke any laws. But in hindsight, I made mistakes and I apologize.”

Sosa spent 13 seasons with the Cubs, one of the most iconic franchises in American sports, and the team appears ready to welcome him back.

“We appreciate Sammy releasing his statement and for reaching out,” Cubs owner Tom Ricketts said in a statement on Thursday. “No one played harder or wanted to win more. Nobody’s perfect but we never doubted his passion for the game and the Cubs. It is an understatement to say that Sammy is a fan favorite.”

Like him or not, Sosa has an important place in baseball history. His home run chase with McGwire is widely credited with helping bring popularity back to Major League Baseball after the 1994 strike canceled that year’s World Series.

Look Back at the Biggest Olympics Scandals Ever

“We accomplished great things as a team, and I worked extremely hard in the batting cage to become a great hitter,” his statement continued. “Cubs fans are the best in the world, and I hope that fans, the Cubs and I can all come together again and move forward. We can’t change the past, but the future is bright. In my heart, I have always been a Cub, and I can’t wait to see Cubs fans again.”

Sosa’s statement comes nearly 20 years after he testified in front of Congress as the true extent of MLB’s steroid problem was coming into focus.

“To be clear,” he said at the time, “I have never taken illegal performance-enhancing drugs. I have never injected myself or had anyone inject me with anything.”

The Cubs have extended Sosa an invitation to appear at the 2025 Cubs Convention from January 17-19, where he is expected to reunite with the team and its fans.

Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts Fined for Wearing Wrong Color Shoes

UPDATE: 12/20/24, 2:21 p.m. ET — Jordan Brand has announced that it will pay Hurts’ fine.

“We’re paying the fine. You can’t ban greatness,” the company said in a statement to Us Weekly.

A representative for Jordan Brand added that it is doing for Hurts what Nike did for Michael Jordan 40 years ago when he violated the league’s dress code by wearing his Air Jordans.

“Nike paid the fines and the game hasn’t been the same since,” the rep said.

Original story below:

Football rules allow you to tackle, push and pile on, but don’t you dare wear the wrong colored shoes.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts learned that the hard way after one of the Air Jordan cleats he wore during his game on Sunday, December 15, was the wrong shade of green. By NFL rules, players must wear cleats that match the team’s colors.

In Philadelphia’s 27-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Hurts, 26, wore one Kelly green cleat, matching his Eagles jersey, and one cleat that was a much lighter shade.

The quarterback is one of Jordan Brand’s highest-profile NFL athletes. He has made it a habit to wear multiple pairs of Jordan cleats during a single game, often switching at halftime, rather than wearing cleats from two separate pairs at the same time.

Jalen Hurts Got Jason Kelce His ‘First-Ever’ Louis Vuitton Duffle Bag

That one cleat cost him a $5,628 fine, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported.

The amount was the negotiated fine for a first offense, as outlined in the league’s collective bargaining agreement. A second offense would cost Hurts $16,883.

For most, a four-figure fine would be a strong deterrent. But Hurts is in the middle of a five-year contract that pays him an average of $51 million per year—and that’s before bonuses and endorsements. That means, at minimum, the first offense cost him about 0.01 percent of his annual salary.

Hurts explained his NFL fashion faux pas on Wednesday.

Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts Is Engaged to Bry Burrows

“I was supposed to wear the Columbia 11s that I gifted the kids that were at the ‘Wings Initiative’ after last week’s game and they never came in,” he said. “I end up having all my shoes there. Guy wanted to take some pictures. Took about five minutes, some very casual. And ended up taking pictures with two different cleats. And I was like, ‘I’ll wear these on Sunday because my shoes didn’t come in.’ Hopefully, they come in soon.”

Hurts turned in a strong performance on Sunday, completing 25 passes while throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for one more. While he did not comment on whether the cleats were the secret to success, he was asked if he would wear them again and take on another fine (the second one would be about 0.03 percent of his salary).

Jason Kelce Explains Why He Won't Wear Pink Cleats Like Eagles' A.J. Brown

“We’ll see. We’ll see,” he replied.

This isn’t the first time Hurts has played with two different-colored shoes. During a game in October against the Cincinnati Bengals, one of his cleats popped off and he had to adjust on the fly, grabbing a single cleat from a different pair.

After that game, he coined the perfect nickname for himself — one that remains apt.

“I had to go Jalen Two-Shoes for a bit,” he said.

Boxer Tyson Fury Hasn’t Spoken to His Wife in 3 Months During Training

Boxer Tyson Fury has trained tirelessly for his upcoming fight with Oleksandr Usyk, and it’s taken a toll on his personal life.

Fury, 36, is looking to avenge the loss he took in May when Usyk, 37, beat him in a split decision victory after 12 rounds. It is the only loss of his career.

As Tyson has prepared, he told Queensbury Promotions’ Dev Sahni that he hasn’t spoken “one word” to his wife, Paris Fury, in months.

“I’ve been away from my wife and kids for three months. I’ve not spoken to Paris at all in three months,” he said. “I’ve sacrificed a lot.”

Tyson added that he’s looking forward to “plenty of eggnog and mince pies and turkeys” for Christmas, post-fight. And if he’s able to win, the sacrifice will be “100 percent worth it.”

Fans got to know Tyson’s family last year in the Netflix docuseries At Home With the Furys. He and Paris share seven kids: daughters Venezuela, 15, Valencia, 7, and Athena, 3, as well as sons Prince John James, 13, Prince Tyson, 8, and Prince Adonis Amaziah, 5.

“Tyson and I had always intended to carry on the great [Irish] Traveller tradition and have a big family: three children at the very least, we’d say to each other, maybe even 10 if we were lucky,” Paris wrote in her 2021 book, Love and Fury: The Magic and Mayhem of Life With Tyson.

Tyson, for his part, has said that he recognizes how fortunate he is to have a wife who supports him through his training — and the ups and downs of his career.

“To get a woman who’s been with you all that time and gone through … the good times and the bad times … [for her] to still be there when you don’t want to be and when you’re being forced away and you’re being pushed out, that takes a very strong individual,” Tyson told The Overlap in a September 2021 interview.

As for the fight, Tyson is brimming with confidence. He quickly shot down any thought that his age has caught up to him, saying he feels as good as he’s ever felt.

“I feel very good. I’ve sparred more than I’ve sparred in years and I’ve been able to do stuff that I’ve always been able to do,” he insisted.

He continued, “I’d be the first one to say, ‘You know what, I’m finished,’ but I ain’t, I’m very far from that, feeling very good. I cannot wait for the fight Saturday night. I’ll end his career. You’ll never hear from Oleksandr Usyk after this.”

Kelly Clarkson Seemingly Shades Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock in New Video

Kelly Clarkson might be expecting ex-husband Brandon Blackstock to get coal in his stocking this Christmas.

The singer released the official album visualizer for her upcoming album, When Christmas Comes Around … Again, on Wednesday, December 18, and in the video, four stockings hang over a fireplace. The one on the left reads “Mom,” seemingly referring to Clarkson, 42. The next two are for the two kids she shares with Blackstock, 48: River, 10, and Remy, 8.

The final stocking, in the place that would logically belong to Blackstock, simply reads, “Nope.”

Clarkson and Blackstock, her former music manager, split in 2020 after a seven-year marriage. They then engaged in a years-long legal battle over custody, assets and spousal support.

Kelly Clarkson Sang 'I Will Always Love You' Right After Finalizing Divorce

Now single, Clarkson also may have just been saying “nope” to having another man in her life — something she said she is not interested in for now.

“Both my kids are not [into it and] they constantly bring it up, ‘Please, we don’t want you to be with anybody else,’” Clarkson said during a recent radio appearance on KOST 103.5. “They’re young, so it’s hard to picture their mom with someone else other than their dad.”

She continued, “I’m not looking for it. I’m not looking for a ‘you’ for Christmas, but I think the hope of that is really beautiful and magical, and imagination station is a wonderful thing.”

And while the time may come where she eventually begins dating, she has no plans to ever walk down the aisle again. In fact, she revealed to People in January that she never wanted to get married the first time.

Inside Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock's Coparenting Dynamic

“[Blackstock] had children, a religious background, and it was important, I think, for him. But I’ve never been that person,” she said.

“Dating sucks. It’s so awkward. I was single until I was, like, 30, and I forgot how really good at that I am,” she added. “I told a friend [that my future partner] would have to be an individual that brings their own life to the table without needing anything from me. It’s far more romantic to say, ‘I want you, but I don’t need anything.’”

Clarkson has been candid about the emotional impact her divorce has had on her. She considered her 2023 studio album, Chemistry, to be a way of “taking my power back.”

“I cannot express how appreciative I feel for having that kind of healthy outlet. Because the level of depression and things that come with divorce or grieving is extraordinarily hard,” she said. “You feel alone, and it’s just a blessing to be able to have that outlet for those emotions that are overwhelming.”

Though they’ve been longtime friends, the two did not begin dating until his recent divorce from NPR’s Shirley Hung. The pair married in 2010 and have two children together.

The source adds that Ed is “so in awe” of Alana.

“The most important thing when you have a divorce is to stay friends,” she told Closer in 2022. “You just have to remember what you loved about the person and remember the positives, not the negatives, and you have to move forward. The most important thing in life is friendship, love and caring about other people.”

Brandi Glanville Describes Feeling Parasite 'Moving Around' in Her Face

Brandi Glanville Thinks She Looks Like a Crackhead With Parasite 496

Brandi Glanville has dealt with what doctors believe to be a parasitic infection for more than a year and she’s had enough of it.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum spoke with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” about her ongoing medical saga that has led to an apparent facial disfigurement. “Whenever I get the chills, it’s generally an infection,” she said. “Then I start having the ticking in my ear, and then whatever’s in my face, moving around, started moving around again. And it starts sinking in again.”

Asked if she believes she still has the parasite, a frustrated Glanville, 52, replied, “I don’t f—king know. We don’t know.”

“I prefer [my face] when it’s a little swollen, to be honest,” she continued. “When it’s only swollen on one side, it’s not great. But the sinking in thing is killing me slowly, because I just feel like I look like a crackhead.”

Brandi Glanville Accepts Terry Dubrow’s Help Amid Face Parasite Fears

Glanville first alarmed fans on December 7 when she posted a selfie via X that showed her facial disfigurement. She followed up with an explanation.

“What happened? I wish I knew,” she wrote. “I’ve been in & out of the hospital this passed year 1/2 spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out. Some Dr.’s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it’s stress induced edema. I personally say it’s Bravo.”

Glanville told Page Six that she started re-taking her antibiotics when her face started to “sink in” again. At this point, she said she just wants the ordeal to be over and desperately wants an answer to the “oily fluid” that has caused her swelling.

“You could do anything you want to me, and I’d be OK with it,” she said. “I’ve had days of looking normal, not weeks. I wish. But it comes and goes.”

Brandi Glanville Says Her Face Looks Different Due to Stress of 'RHUGT'

She continued, “Over the weekend, it was only swollen on the right side of my face, so I looked like I had a really big meatball in the right side of my cheek.”

As uncomfortable as the experience has been, Glanville said that the mental aspect has been even more difficult.

“It’s hard to hide out during Christmas when everyone’s having their parties. It’s depressing. It just hurts my brain and my heart,” she admitted. “The pain is more mental than anything, because I have been hiding and going through a deep, deep depression. Even if I could work now, at this point, I couldn’t. So it’s just been a really rough two years for me.”

Michelle Williams and Thomas Kail were all smiles on Thursday, December 18, when they were spotted walking together in Brooklyn.

The couple was photographed on a street corner in New York City’s most populous borough, looking lovingly at each other and appearing to share a laugh. Williams, 44, wore a long overcoat with a black bag and sunglasses, while Kail, 47, wore blue jeans and a jacket to go with his baseball cap and backpack.

Originally hailing from Montana, Williams has long been a major player in the Brooklyn real estate scene. She and Kail purchased a $10.8 million townhouse in Brooklyn Heights in 2020 and she owns a number of other properties around the borough.

She previously purchased a $3.6 million Boerum Hill townhouse in 2005 with her late partner Heath Ledger, which she sold for $8.8 million in 2014.

Williams and Kail have kept their relationship relatively private since they first met on the set of FX miniseries Fosse/Verdon. Both were in separate relationships at the time and kept things quiet at the beginning as it was “messy behind the scenes,” a source told Us Weekly in 2020.

The two married in secret in early 2020, and their union only became public when they were spotted wearing matching wedding rings. Us later confirmed they had, in fact, tied the knot. That June, the couple welcomed their first child together, a son named Hart.

“It was a reminder that life goes on,” she told Variety of having a baby amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “The world we brought a baby into is not the world we thought we were bringing a baby into, but the baby is ignorant of that. He experiences the unmitigated joy of discovery and the happiness of a loving home.”

Brad Pitt’s Ex Body Double Gets 16 Years in Prison for 'Stealthing'

Luke Ford, who served as Brad Pitt’s body double in the 2013 action film World War Z, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison by the High Court in Edinburgh.

Ford, 35, was found guilty on 19 charges against women, which included violence, abuse and threats. He was also found guilty on a charge of stealthing, which is “defined as not using a protective condom without a partner’s knowledge or consent, which is rape,” according to a statement from prosecutors.

The disgraced actor, who also had uncredited roles in The Dark Knight Rises and Mary Queen of Scots, is the first person to be convicted of stealthing in Scotland’s history.

“Ford is a dangerous and manipulative sexual predator,” Scottish Police Detective Inspector Steven Gray said. “I hope that knowing he is now behind bars for his crimes helps them continue to move forward with their lives.”

“Anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault or abuse should contact us,” he added. “Please be assured that we will do everything we can to ensure we arrest the perpetrators of such crimes.”

Ford, a Striling, Scotland native, first came to authorities’ attention in June 2020 when police responded to a report of assault. The ensuing investigation found several other women that Ford had assaulted or abused. He was arrested and charged in February 2021.

He was convicted in May 2023 of “rape, attempted rape, multiple assaults and being in possession of extreme sexual abuse images,” according to Scotland police. He has also been added indefinitely to the country’s sex offender registry.

Ford’s alleged stealthing victim testified against him in court, saying she was “shocked and upset” at what happened after the two met on Tinder in 2017.

“I would not have had sex with him without a condom,” the victim said. “I asked him to leave. I felt completely violated.”

Another one of Ford’s victims spoke to the Scottish STV News, where they criticized how the actor portrayed himself.

“He genuinely thought he was going to be the next Brad Pitt,” one of Ford’s victims told STV News, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “I think there were multiple stunt doubles, but the way that he spun it, it looked like he was Brad Pitt’s one-and-only stunt double.”

“I would say it’s taken me a long time to get over what happened and say that life is good now,” they added, calling Ford a “master manipulator.”

Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce with their kids.

Kylie and Jason Kelce’s fourth daughter is on the way, and fans want to know if they have a name picked out.

Kylie, 32, addressed the question on the December 19 episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, where she offered a blunt answer.

“First of all, love the confidence, but even if I did have a name picked out, I’d probably keep that one in the family,” she said. “What I will say: We don’t have a name picked out, so you’re not missing out on anything. And I have seen a number of the suggestions come through in the comments section so I appreciate that.”

Kylie and Jason, 37, already share three daughters, Wyatt, 5, Elliotte or “Ellie,” 3, and Bennett, 1. When Kylie shared the news of her pregnancy via Instagram on November 22, she posted a photo of her three kids and their various reactions to the news. Wyatt had her hands on her face in an expression of nervous excitement, while Ellie was all smiles and Bennett was in a full-on teary breakdown.

Are Jason and Kylie Kelce Ready for Baby No. 4? Everything They've Said

“I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister,” she wrote in the caption. “At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page!”

While the kids adjust to the thought of another Kelce joining the brood, Kylie also revealed that baby No. 4 will be the only new addition. Kylie has been open about wanting to get a cat, even joking on Instagram in February that she would just get one without asking Jason for his blessing.

She has since backed off that stance and said on Thursday that the timing just isn’t right at the moment.

“The responsibility I’m conveying right now is a shock to both you and I. I would love to just get a cat. But we’re waiting for the right time,” she said. “And also, believe it or not, I do love and respect my husband. And if he doesn’t want a cat right now, I don’t necessarily want to do it against his will.”

Kylie Kelce Cried for 30 Minutes When She Learned 2nd Baby Was a Girl

She added that just because a cat isn’t in the cards right now, it doesn’t mean that will always be the case.

“I do think there will come a time where we break him down and that he not only says it’s OK but is on board with the decision,” she continued. “In a loving marriage, I do like to respect his feelings.”

“The time will come. I promise,” she concluded.

Diddy's Alleged Drug Mule Brendan Paul’s Felony Drug Case Dismissed

Diddy Alleged Drug Mule Brendan Paul Avoids Jail Time in Felony Drug Case

UPDATE — 12/17/24 at 3:45 p.m. ET:

The felony drug case against Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged drug mule Brendan Paul has been officially dismissed seven months after he managed to avoid jail time by entering a six month drug diversion program.

“Mr. Paul’s case was formally dismissed today — in its entirety.” Paul’s attorney Brian Bieber said in a statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday, December 17.

Original story:

Diddy’s alleged drug mule Brendan Paul will not face jail time.

Paul, 25, will instead enter a drug diversion program, which is expected to last around six months.

“Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to permit his entry into the diversion program which, after completion, the case against him will be dismissed in its entirety,” his attorney, Brian Bieber, told Us Weekly in a statement.

Paul’s hearing, initially scheduled for Friday, May 17, has been canceled.

Eyebrow-Raising Quotes About Diddy's Alleged Behavior Over the Years

Paul was arrested on March 25 at Opa-Locka Airport in Miami and was charged with cocaine and marijuana possession, though the marijuana charge was eventually dropped. His plea deal is a “standard offer to a nonviolent defendant with no priors,” a representative for the Miami-Dade State Attorney told TMZ.

Paul’s arrest came the same day the Department of Homeland Security raided Diddy’s two homes, though it has not been confirmed whether the two incidents are connected. Paul, a former Syracuse men’s basketball player, was named as Diddy’s “drug mule” in Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones’ $30 million lawsuit against the music mogul.

Jones claimed he “personally witnessed” Paul acquiring and distributing drugs to Diddy, 54, as well as his entourage. Those drugs allegedly include “ecstasy, cocaine, GHB, ketamine, marijuana, mushrooms and tuci.”

The lawsuit also alleged Paul transported or intended to transport drugs in airplane baggage on flights between Los Angeles, Miami, Virginia, the Caribbean and London three times in December 2022, April 2023 and November 2023.

Why Were Diddy's Homes Raided by Federal Agents? What to Know So Far

The same lawsuit accused Diddy of sexual assault and harassment stemming from the time Diddy and Jones worked together, from September 2022 to November 2023.

Diddy’s attorney Shawn Holley denied the accusations in a statement to Us in April.

Diddy and Brendan Paul

“Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit, shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday,” Holley said. “His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines.”

Jones is among multiple people who have accused Diddy of sexual misconduct. Diddy asked a judge on May 10 to dismiss a 2023 lawsuit in which a woman alleged she was sex-trafficked and gang-raped by Diddy in 2003.

Diddy denied the allegations in a statement to Us.

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” he told Us in a statement. “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.”

Diddy concluded: “Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

1000-Lb. Best Friends’ Scott Bagwill’s Surgery Is at Risk in Sneak Peek

Scott Bagwill was ready to go under the knife for his bariatric surgery, but at the last minute, a complication arose that put the procedure in jeopardy.

In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, December 17 season 3 finale of 1,000-Lb. Best Friends, Scott is in the hospital, about to undergo the weight-loss surgery, when his heart rate spikes.

The surgeon, Dr. Charles Procter, calmly explains to Scott that if they cannot get his heart rate under control, they will need to cancel the surgery.

“Scott coming in today, being stressed and nervous before surgery has caused his heart rate to shoot up into the 150s,” Procter said in a confessional. “We want to proceed with a bunch of caution. So we’re going to go ahead and get a 12 lead EKG, we’re also going to get ahold of his regular cardiologist and make sure he feels comfortable with us moving forward.”

Reality TV Stars' Weight Loss Transformations: Before and After Photos

“The worst case scenario right now is his heart is beating so fast that it begins to affect his blood pressure, making him what we call hemodynamically unstable,” Procter continued. “If we don’t get to the bottom of what’s going on with scars, heart rate, we’re going to cancel the surgery.”

1000 LB Best Friends Season Finale
Scott

Scott, who first came to Procter weighing 596 pounds, was visibly emotional at the potential setback, gripping the sides of his bed and appearing to cry.

His mom was seated by his side, doing her best to calm him down.

“Don’t overreact. Relax. Breathe,” she told him. “It’s your nerves, your anxiety, your ADHD.”

In a separate confessional, Scott wondered if it really was that simple.

1000-Lb. Sisters’ Amy and Tammy’s Ups and Downs: Relationship Woes and More

“I’m starting to wonder, ‘Is it just nerves or is this something else that could majorly affect if Dr. Proctor continues with the surgery or not?’” he asked.

Though Scott is relatively new to the series, which primarily follows best friends Vannessa, Meghan, and Ashely through their weight-loss journeys, he has already made waves among the fanbase and with his castmates.

In the season’s penultimate episode, which aired December 10, Ashley and Vanessa vented to each other about Scott lying about his eating habits. Earlier in the season, fans called him out for being disrespectful to his mother and for fake crying at the scale.

When the gang took a trip to the mountains together, Scott and fellow new cast member Tina ended up in an explosive argument at the dinner table over, of all things, the taste of the meatballs Scott prepared.

1,000-Lb. Best Friends airs on TLC Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET.

Sonic 3’s Jim Carrey Decided to Take ‘Power Rests’ Instead of Retiring

Sonic 3 Star Jim Carrey Says He Decided Not to Retire But to Have Power Naps
Jim Carrey attends the ‘Sonic The Hedgehog 3’ UK Premiere at Cineworld Leicester Square on December 10, 2024.

Jim Carrey wasn’t sleeping, in a metaphorical sense. He was just resting his eyes.

“I think I’ve decided not to retire, but to have power rests,” Carrey told Us Weekly exclusively. “I meditate a lot.”

Two years after claiming that he was “fairly serious” about retiring from acting after starring in Sonic 2, Carrey, 62, is back for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which will hit theaters on December 20.

In Sonic 3, the Dumb and Dumber star plays Dr. Robotnik, the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise’s main antagonist. This time around, Sonic will forge an unlikely partnership with Dr. Robotnik as they work together to defeat the mysterious Shadow the Hedgehog.

‘Bruce Almighty’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

Carrey has portrayed the mad scientist, also dubbed “Egghead,” in all three live-action Sonic films.

Carrey was true to his word about taking a power nap from acting after Sonic 2, not having appeared in a movie since then. He said at the time that he would only come out of retirement “if the angels bring some sort of script that’s written in gold ink.”

“That might’ve been hyperbole, yeah,” Carrey told the Associated Press earlier this month. “I came back to this universe because I get to play a genius, which is a bit of a stretch. And you know, I bought a lot of stuff and I need the money, frankly.”

When Carrey first announced his retirement in 2022, he explained to Access Hollywood that he was at peace with calling it a career.

James Lafferty Was Ready to Quit Acting Before ‘One Tree Hill’

“I really like my quiet life and I really like putting paint on canvas and I really love my spiritual life and I feel like — and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists — I have enough,” he said. “I’ve done enough. I am enough.”

But now that Carrey is back on screen, this might not be the end of his acting career. Though another “power rest” could be in the works, he recently told ComicBook.com that he’d be open to also reprising his role as The Grinch. Carrey starred as The Grinch in the 2000 live-action film version of the Dr. Seuss book.

There’s just one hang-up.

“The thing about it is, on the day, I do that with a ton of makeup and can hardly breathe,” he said. “It was an extremely excruciating process.”

He added, “The children were in my mind all the time. ‘It’s for the kids. It’s for the kids. It’s for the kids.’ And now, with motion capture and things like that, I could be free to do other things. Anything is possible in this world.”

James Kennedy Won’t Cancel Shows After Domestic Violence Arrest

James Kennedy Does Not Plan to Cancel Shows After Domestic Violence Arrest Proceeding As Normal
James Kennedy

James Kennedy does not plan to change his schedule after his domestic violence arrest.

The Vanderpump Rules personality, 32, plans to move forward with his upcoming slate of shows alongside Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio beginning in February, a source tells Us Weekly.

“He won’t be canceling any of his gigs,” the source said. “He’s proceeding with life as normal.”

Kennedy’s next performance is slated for February 15 in Ontario, according to the tour dates listed on his Linktree account.

Meanwhile, Kennedy’s lawyers expressed hope on Friday, December 13, that no formal charges would be filed.

“We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,” attorneys for Kennedy said in a statement. “We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”

Kennedy’s arrest came on Tuesday, December 10, when a neighbor called police about a couple arguing at Kennedy’s California home. A witness said he was arguing with a woman and allegedly grabbed her.

TMZ first reported the news on Thursday, December 12, adding that police did not see any visible injuries on the alleged victim. Kennedy was released hours later on $20,000 bail.

Vanderpump Rules’ James Kennedy Arrested for Domestic Violence

Earlier on Tuesday, Kennedy and girlfriend Ally Lewber attended Kathy Hilton’s Christmas Party, where Kennedy “caused a scene,” another source told Us, adding that his behavior was “erratic” and that he was “in a mood” on the red carpet beforehand.

“His guy friend was chasing him from Kathy’s basement all the way throughout Kathy’s backyard, and James looked mad while running away,” the insider claimed. “The guy who was chasing him almost fell into the pool and dropped a lantern in the pool causing a huge scene. Everyone was wondering what was going on.”

A third insider told Us that the arrest was “a complete misunderstanding.”

“They were arguing and a neighbor was outside and heard them fighting and called the police and the police officers came,” the source explained, referring to Kennedy and Lewber.

Kristen Doute Reacts to James Kennedy's Domestic Violence Arrest: 'Finally'

The third insider added that Lewber does not plan to press charges.

Lewber has refuted rumors in the past of Kennedy being abusive toward her. She spoke specifically about an incident at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards on a February episode of Scheana Shay’s “Scheananigans” podcast.

“There was no physical altercation,” she recalled. “I thought we were having fun. We were having fun. But then James and I did get into an argument, but there was no physical assault. I was not bleeding, and they didn’t have to get out of the car and separate us. So that didn’t happen. That’s all I’ll say on that.”

Pete Davidson Says He's Not A ‘Loser Who Just Dates People'

Pete Davidson Says He s Not A Loser Who Just Dates People
Phoebe Dynevor and Pete Davidson.

Pete Davidson wants to be known for his work, not as “this f—ing loser who dates people.”

The Saturday Night Live alum spoke to W Magazine about his public perception and how his celebrity has infiltrated his personal and professional lives.

“I just want to be known for doing good work,” said Davidson, 31. “I want to be out there only when it’s movies, stand-up, charity, or business ventures. That’s when I want to be seen. I don’t want to be this f—ing loser who just dates people. That’s not who I am.”

Whether he likes it or not, Davidson’s love life has been anything but private. The comedian and actor was briefly engaged to Ariana Grande before he went on to date other A-list celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kate Beckinsale, Cazzie David, Emily Ratajkowski and Madelyn Cline.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson: The Way They Were

Reflecting on his career in the limelight — which included an eight-season run on SNL, a starring role in his semi-autobiographical film The King of Staten Island, and a starring and executive producer title for 2019 comedy Big Time Adolescence — Davidson now admits he was “oversaturated.”

“In The Sopranos, there’s this line from Tony that’s like, ‘You ever feel like you got into something at the end? When the good times were over?’ That’s how I feel about show business and being a celebrity. It’s over,” he said.

Pete Davidson Says He s Not A Loser Who Just Dates People

He added, “I made the mistake of doing literally everything. Now I’m older and wiser, and I’m realizing that less is more.”

As a result, Davidson has been laying low as of late — focused on, of all things, socks. Recently named creative director of colorful sock brand Doublesoul, he said the product is “comfy and sexy, and the name is cool.” Working with founders Ben Rosenbaum and Allison Strumeyer, Davidson found himself immediately pitching ideas that, according to Strumeyer, “reflected his deep insight about what shapes cultural relevance.”

Davidson doesn’t plan on stopping there, either. Knowing that his out-there fashion sense has caught fans’ attention in the past, his eccentric look is an aspect of his celebrity that he’s seemed to embrace.

Pete Davidson’s Candid Quotes About His Love Life, Hearbreak and More

According to the actor, he’d be interested in doing more in the fashion space — if it means staying “behind the scenes” without becoming one of those celebrities who pushes their brand onto their followers.

This new line of work is a stark change from acting and comedy, and Davidson appears to have welcomed it.

Pete Davidson Says He s Not A Loser Who Just Dates People

“People hate celebrities now,” he added. “The media takes a handful of celebs every couple of years, and they just destroy them. For some reason, I’m one of the people they chose to go after. It’s actually, in a way, a blessing, because it allowed me to take a step back and evaluate things.”

Now that he’s evaluating, Davidson doesn’t have to think of himself as that “loser who dates people.”

“That voice was very loud in my head for a while,” he admitted.

Every DWTS Pro Who Has Won the Mirrorball More Than Once

When Dancing With the Stars pro Jenna Johnson and former Bachelor Joey Graziadei took home season 33’s Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, in November 2024, Johnson joined a small group of pros with multiple wins.

Even more impressively, her two wins came in the span of only eight seasons — she also won in season 26 with Adam Rippon — the fewest number of total seasons out of anyone to win DWTS more than once.

“I’m just so, so grateful. This has been my favorite season ever,” Johnson gushed after her season 33 win. “To be able to share this moment with Joey, and now have one of these [trophies] that we get to share forever is insane.”

Seven other pros have won it all multiple times. Derek Hough has hoisted the Mirrorball six times (his sister, Julianne Hough, has done it twice).Meanwhile, Johnson’s husband, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, has three trophies.

‘Survivor 47' Star Genevieve Explains How 'Operation: Italy' Unfolded

Genevieve Mushaluk and Sam Phalen
Genevieve Mushaluk and Sam Phalen

The best gameplay in Survivor is often the result of a desperate player, finding their way out of a precarious back-against-the-wall situation. In a turbulent season like Survivor 47, fans were treated to an all-timer that came to be known as “Operation: Italy.”

Now that one of the masterminds, Genevieve Mushaluk, is out of the game, the 32-year-old contestant is shedding light on how the game-changing move happened.

First, the set-up: Genevieve found herself as a looming target after she masterminded Sol Yi’s departure a few Tribal Councils prior. With no immunity to protect her, she needed some help if she wanted to remain in the game.

That help came via a reward, courtesy of Sam Phalen and Andy Rueda. When Sam won the reward of Italian food and letters from home, he picked Andy and Genevieve to join him at the sanctuary (“Where good things happen”). With the players remaining at camp intending to target Sam — which would have left Genevieve exposed — the two went to work on flipping Andy to their side.

‘Survivor’ Season 47 Cast Revealed: Meet the Players

That’s when the group decided to craft a fake immunity idol to give to Genevieve, hoping it would cause those left at camp to split their votes. That would then return power back to the trio at the sanctuary, enabling them to successfully eliminate Caroline Vidmar.

The plan worked to perfection, leading to a memorable Tribal Council blindside.

As Genevieve explains, the idea of a fake idol was actually percolating in Sam’s head for a few days.

“A few days before Operation: Italy, Sam was starting to think, ‘Okay, we need a fake idol. Our best bet at pulling something together is we fracture the majority group and get them to split votes,’” she explained to Entertainment Weekly. “But how do you magically and organically say, ‘Oh yeah, now today I’ve got an idol?’ And then there was some discussion of, ‘Well, which is the likeliest person to flip?’ I thought maybe Teeny, Sam thought maybe Andy.”

Survivor's Biggest Villains and Fan Favorites

With Andy on the reward with them, he was the logical pick.

Genevieve Mushaluk 3 SURVIVOR

“I was really nervous about working with Andy, but had built up so much goodwill with Sam that if he wanted Andy, fine, we’ll do Andy. And then he won the reward. So there was a lot that went into it, and from my perspective Sam sort of laid the table for that to happen,” she continued. “And then when Andy’s pitching this plan and we’re sitting there in our beanbags and just like, ‘Am I being punked? Why is this all falling into place? This is not supposed to happen on Survivor.’ But I think Andy was itching to make a move, and so Sam was accurately targeting him as the best person to flip.”

While Operation: Italy was a success, Andy was the next one to go in the first of two Tribal Councils on the Wednesday, December 11 episode. Genevieve went second, leaving Sam, Teeny Chirichillo, Rachel Lamont and Sue Smey to battle it out in the finale, airing next Wednesday, December 18 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

ESPN Basketball Analyst Dick Vitale Announces He Is Cancer-Free Again

ESPN Analyst Dick Vitale Announces He Is Again Cancer Free
Dick Vitale

ESPN’s Dick Vitale has some news, and it’s awesome, baby!

The legendary men’s college basketball analyst is once again cancer-free, the 85-year-old coach-turned-broadcaster announced on Thursday, December 12, via X.

“SANTA CLAUS came early as Dr Rick Brown called & said that my PET SCAN at 7 AM came back CLEAN OF CANCER !” Vitale wrote. “OMG thanks so much to ALL of YOU for your [prayers.] Yes I’m cutting the nets down baby it’s my National Championship!”

Vitale — known for his overwhelming enthusiasm for college basketball and his signature sayings like “awesome, baby” and “diaper dandy” — underwent surgery over the summer after a biopsy of a lymph node in his neck showed he had cancer.

Summer House’s Jesse Solomon Opens Up About Testicular Cancer Journey

It was the fourth separate cancer diagnosis for Vitale. He previously had multiple surgeries to remove melanoma followed by treatments for lymphoma in 2021 and vocal cord cancer in 2023.

Vitale did not call a game for ESPN during the 2023-24 season as he focused on his health, but he said in June that he hopes to be back behind the mic at some point this season.

Fans won’t be surprised to know the men’s college basketball community has rallied around Vitale, who has spent his 40-plus-year broadcasting career raising money and awareness in the battle against cancer. Writers, fans, players and broadcasters overwhelmed the replies, causing Vitale to send a follow-up post.

“Wow I am absolutely blown away by the love from so many — thanks for caring as I hope all of u that know someone with cancer to extend🙏🙏🙏& words of encouragement,” he wrote. “Means so much! Remind them to always THINK POSITIVE & HAVE FAITH !”

Stars Who Beat Breast Cancer: Linda Evangelista, Cynthia Nixon and More

Vitale was instrumental in elevating the annual Jimmy V Classic on ESPN, an annual men’s doubleheader at Madison Square Garden in honor of the late NC State coach Jim Valvano. The event, which has also expanded to women’s basketball, raises money for the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

This year’s Jimmy V Classic came, fittingly, on Tuesday, December 10, the day before Vitale’s appointment that showed he was cancer-free. ESPN played a message that Vitale recorded from his Florida home during the broadcast.

“I want to simply say to all the cancer patients out there, my heart goes out to you,” he said in the video. “Trust me, I know what you go through as I’ve been battling four different cancers over the last three years. I have one philosophy, I’m gonna share it with all of you. Battling any kind of disease, to think positive and have faith. Have that and you’re gonna make it big time, because I’m gonna beat this disease again.”

Vitale added that since the V Foundation’s founding in 1993, it has raised more than $350 million for cancer research.

Kylie Kelce Jokes About Stalking Eagles Players’ Wives Online

Kylie Kelce Jokes About Stalking Eagles Players Significant Others Online

If one of Jason Kelce’s Philadelphia Eagles teammates had a public social media page, chances are his wife Kylie did some snooping into their personal life.

As Kylie, 32, explained on the Thursday, December 12, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, she uses her online stalking powers for good.

“We got to a point where we would almost stalk people on social media, just to be like, ‘Have you posted with a woman recently?’ If so, we’ll go to her page,” she confessed. “If her page is private, we’ll ask before we follow, but otherwise, if she’s public, we can see that you guys are still together. We’ll just slide into your DMs and be like ‘hey, welcome.’”

Jason played his entire eight-year career in Philadelphia, and eventually, Kylie came to realize she was the oldest and most experienced of all the players’ wives and girlfriends. That’s when she took it upon herself to reach out to new players’ significant others and offer help as they adjusted to life in their new city.

Jason Kelce's Wife Kylie Isn’t Your Typical NFL Spouse: What She’s Said

She explained that this was far more effective than simply making Jason ask his teammate for their significant other’s phone number. Kylie joked that if she did that, she wouldn’t get an answer for “three years.” Her guest, Allison Kucharczyk, wife of former NFL defensive end Isaac Rochell, agreed.

“You would find the phone number in a wad at the end of football season in a shoe or something,” Kucharczyk joked.

Kylie Kelce Jokes About Stalking Eagles Players Significant Others Online

Kylie continued, “We really found that the best way to do it was just be direct and say, ‘Hey if you need anything, we’re here year-round. If there’s any way I can be of assistance or [anything] you need advice about or even if it’s just a restaurant recommendation, let me know.’”

Her helping hand did not go unnoticed. Kucharczyk said wives like Kylie are doing “God’s work” when they reach out to the newcomers. That was especially true for Kucharczyk, whose husband played in four cities from 2017 to 2023.

Inside Kylie Kelce's Friendships With Fellow Philadelphia Eagles Women

“I have to say on behalf of all the girls who have traveled around to different teams, people like you make the experience so much better and so much less lonely,” she said.

Jason retired from the NFL in 2022, and Kylie said she hopes the wives and girlfriends remaining around the league have carried on the tradition. She added that even if a player is traded, someone from the player’s old team can put a significant other in touch with someone from the new team so they are not starting from scratch with every move.

“There’s a very large web of women in the NFL and I think the best thing they can do now is continue to weave the web and make sure the women feel supported and connected and can do that independently outside of their spouse or significant other,” she said.

Now in their post-football lives, Kylie and Jason still live in the Philadelphia area. The two married in 2018 and share three daughters, Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1. Kylie is also pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, another girl.
