Blake Lively Dropped Out of Hosting ‘SNL’ Premiere Amid Costar Drama

Blake Lively was supposed to host the season 50 premiere of Saturday Night Live in September, but the drama surrounding the release of It Ends With Us allegedly led her to drop out.

In a lawsuit obtained by Us Weekly after it was reported by TMZ and The New York Times on Friday, December 20, Lively’s lawyers stated that she scored the hosting gig but decided to back out amid tension with her It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni.

“The effects on Ms. Lively’s professional life were immediate and substantial,” the actress’ lawyers wrote of an alleged smear campaign against her. “Given the ongoing nature of the campaign and the associated negative public sentiment, Ms. Lively did not believe she could proceed with public appearances or events without being forced to openly discuss what happened on set.”

“For example, Ms. Lively canceled a critical Target corporate event for her hair care company [Blake Brown Beauty], and she backed out of her scheduled role to host the premier episode of the 50th anniversary season of Saturday Night Live in September 2024,” the suit added. (Hacks star Jean Smart went on as the host instead.)

All the Celebs Mentioned in Justin Baldoni's Alleged Blake Lively Takedown

Lively’s lawyers alleged that the actress’ professional commitments were impacted by what they believe was a “multi-tiered plan” to destroy her reputation after she called a meeting to address “repeated sexual harassment and other disturbing behavior” by Baldoni, 40, and a producer on the film.

In the suit, Lively, 37, sued Baldoni for sexual harassment and claimed his public relations team orchestrated the campaign against her during the promotion of It Ends With Us this summer.

“The emotional impact on Ms. Lively has been extreme, not only affecting her, but her family, including her husband and four children,” the complaint also alleged, referring to Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their kids: daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, and son Olin, 22 months.

In terms of the sexual harassment claims, Lively’s suit stated that she had to ask that Baldoni refrain from showing her videos of nude women and inquiring about her weight, as well as discussing his prior pornography addiction, his sexual exploits, and the cast and crew’s genitalia during filming.

What 'It Ends With Us' Cast Has Said About Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

The actress also requested that there not be any additional sex scenes added to the movie, which is about domestic violence, that were not in the original script.

Us reached out to Lively’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back. In a statement to The New York Times regarding her lawsuit, Lively said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, meanwhile, called Lively’s accusations “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious” in a statement to Us, claiming that Lively filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” about the film’s production.

Freedman further alleged that Lively made “multiple demands and threats” while filming It Ends With Us, including “threatening to not show up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release, if her demands were not met.”

Tiger Woods Steps Out at PNC Championship With His Look-Alike Teens

Tiger Woods made a rare appearance with both of his look-alike children at the PNC Championship at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando on Saturday, December 21.

Tiger, 48, played alongside his son Charlie Woods, 15, while his daughter, Sam Woods, 17, served as caddy. Their mother, Tiger’s ex-wife Elin Nordegren, was in the gallery during the tournament.

Tiger and the teens posed for photos on the green following the first round of competition. The tournament concludes Sunday after another 18-hole round.

“To be our here in this environment and to have fun like this – it doesn’t get any better,” Woods told NBC of sharing the course with his son. “This week is for each other, and we’re just rooting so hard for each of us to pull off each shot that we want.”

Tiger Woods’ Kids Look All Grown Up at World Golf Hall of Fame Induction

The PNC Championship provides a unique experience for pro golfers as they get to team up with a family member for the PGA Tour Champions-sanctioned event. According to ESPN, Tiger and Charlie ran off five straight birdies on the back nine on Saturday for a 13-under 59 in the scramble format, giving them a share of the lead after the opening round. They were joined at the top by the previous two champions — Bernhard Langer and son Jason, 24, and Vijay Singh and son Qass, 34.

“We’re trying to pull off each and every shot for each other, and to ham-and-egg,” Tiger said, according to the outlet. “And I think we did that great pretty much the entire day. We picked each other up, which was great. And Charlie made pretty much most of the putts today.”

The PNC Championship is Tiger’s first competition since he underwent back surgery in September. At the event, he reportedly said he scheduled that surgery — the sixth on his lower back in the past 10 years — to be sure he recovered in time to play with Charlie for the fifth straight year.

Tiger also spoke to PGA Tour about Charlie’s blossoming golf career at Saturday’s tournament, saying his son has grown “3.5 to 4 inches in height” and has gotten “stronger, faster, heavier” since last year. He admitted they “needle” each other at home in a competitive spirit, but “it’s all love, that’s what it’s all about. I love him to death.”

Tiger also shared the advice he’s given his son to deal with the pressure of competing under the name “Woods.”

“I just always remind him ‘Just be you,’” Tiger said, according to CNN. “Charlie is Charlie. Yes, he’s my son, he’s gonna have that last name as part of the sport, but I just want him to just be himself, you know, and be your own person. That’s what we’ll always focus on, and we’ll always encourage it, for him just to carve his own name, to carve his own path and have his own journey.”

Ryan Reynolds Brings Channing Tatum to Wrexham AFC Match

Ryan Reynolds Attends Wrexham Match With Channing Tatum
Channing Tatum and Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds had a jam-packed weekend in Wales with some of his best mates, including Channing Tatum, as his soccer club Wrexham AFC took on Cambridge United.

The actor, 48, and Tatum, 44, took in the match on Saturday, December 14, alongside other pals including It Ends With Us star Brandon Sklenar and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong.

“A few friends came out for @wrexham_afc and we made the most of it… unforgettable 36 hours made possible by the warmth and beauty of the people in this town. There’s nothing like it. ⚔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⚔,” Reynolds wrote via Instagram, sharing photos from the weekend.

In the pictures, Reynolds posed at the game with his Deadpool & Wolverine costar Tatum, who also joined him at Wrexham pub The Fat Boar on Friday, December 13.

According to the BBC, the pair, as well as Sklenar, 34, snapped photos with fans at the bar and Reynolds took to the mic to wish customers a merry Christmas and offer to buy everybody a drink.

He joked: “If I don’t come visit each and everyone of you tonight in your homes, I just want to say happy holidays.”

Celebrities With Super Successful Alcohol Brands

Reynolds and Tatum have become close following their time filming Deadpool & Wolverine, in which Tatum plays Gambit — a Marvel character he’s been wanting to bring to life for years.

“Gambit is a guy Chan was born to play,” Reynolds wrote via Instagram in August. “His story is similar to my road on Deadpool — in that Chan spent a decade trying to put the most comic-accurate version of Gambit on the big screen. Remy LeBeau is grafted to his soul and needs to come out and deal. Some characters can only exist with a one in a billion pairing and this is it. Gambit found his author in Chan. He’s one of the coolest, smartest characters in Comics and still largely unexplored. I want more — and from what I saw in theaters, you do too.”

Reynolds continued: “Having the chance to say goodbye to some of these heroes is as important as having new characters to root for… and rooting for Gambit is easy. Rooting for Chan is even easier. He’s one of the greatest, hardest working, kindest people in this entire industry. I couldn’t be more thrilled to see @channingtatum pull Gambit from the dead and bring him to life at the perfect time and perfect way.”

Reynolds and Tatum watched Wrexham and Cambridge United’s match end in a 2-2 draw on Saturday, which will be tough for the team as their promotion rivals Wycombe Wanderers and Birmingham City both won, ESPN reported.

Wrexham, owned by Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney since 2020, have been flying high in their first season in English football’s third tier following back-to-back promotions. The docuseries Welcome to Wrexham, which follows the team, has had a significant impact on the club’s visibility and they have now secured a new global fanbase.

Celebrity Parents Who Have Written Children’s Books Over the Years

Recently, there were rumors that Reynolds and McElhenney, 47, were pulling back from the club after they sold stakes to the upstate New York-based Allyn family — providing more than $600 million in capital to continue revitalizing Wrexham. But Reynolds told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Friday that the actors will “remain majority owners.”

“The team is growing faster than anyone expected. There are needs that require a certain type of skill and people who have some experience in growing things. We chose the Allyn family because they have similar values that make Wrexham,” Reynolds said. “They’ve been revitalizing towns and communities for many years in upstate New York, and that’s why bringing them on didn’t cause a big stir.”

Chris Rock Takes on UnitedHealthcare CEO’s Death in ‘SNL’ Monologue

Chris Rock Reacts to Healthcare SEO Shooting in SNL Monologue
Chris Rock, inset: Luigi Mangione

Chris Rock wasn’t afraid to tackle the headlines in his latest Saturday Night Live opening monologue.

For the Saturday, December 14, episode, Rock, 59, addressed the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and his suspected killer, Luigi Mangione, with some controversial jokes. The fourth-time host reacted to the situation toward the beginning of his monologue, saying that the media seems fixated on Mangione’s looks instead of the alleged crime.

“We got Luigi. You know, and that’s good,” Rock told the live audience. “I really feel sorry for the family. Everybody’s fixated on how good-looking this guy looks. If he looked like Jonah Hill, no one would care. They’d already given him the chair already — he’d be dead.”

Rock continued: “But he actually killed a man — a man with a family, a man with kids. I have condolences. I have real condolences for the healthcare CEO. This is a real person, you know? But you also got to go, ‘You know, sometimes drug dealers get shot.’”

“I mean, you’ve seen The Wire, right?” Rock quipped.

The Most Viral 'SNL' Sketches of 2024: Yes, 'Domingo' Is Here

Mangione, 26, was arrested on gun charges in Pennsylvania on Monday, December 9, and will later be extradited to New York to face charges in connection to Thompson’s December 4 death at 50. Mangione’s attorney said he intends to plead not guilty and wants to examine the evidence, according to CBS News.

Thompson was in New York for an annual UnitedHealthcare investors meeting when he was killed. He is survived by his wife, Paulette, and their two sons.

Rock wasn’t the only person to take on the CEO’s death and Mangione’s online notoriety on SNL this week. The cold open featured cast member Sarah Sherman spoofing crime commentator Nancy Grace as she addressed the public reaction to the arrest of Mangione.

“And of course, everyone online celebrated the hard work of law enforcement in apprehending this dangerous criminal,” 31-year-old Sherman, as Grace, said. “Just kidding, y’all psychos made him a sex symbol.”

She continued: “That’s right, the healthcare assassin Luigi Mangione has got women and gay guys alike hot and bothered.”

Sherman was joined by fellow cast member Kenan Thompson for the skit, who played a character in the Pennsylvania McDonald’s where Mangione was arrested.

“Well, Nancy, I’ve been eating McDonald’s every day for three years,” Kenan said. “I got Type 10 diabetes. Blue Cross? Bitch, I got blue foot. You know what my health insurance plan is called? Hoping it goes away.”

Sherman’s character also asked Kenan if he thought people were actually attracted to Mangione.

“Well, I mean, you can look at him and tell he had h—,” Thompson said. “I mean, women love bad boys.”

How the 'Saturday Night' Cast Compares to the 'SNL' Stars They're Playing

Colin Jost also mentioned Mangione on “Weekend Update,” poking fun at his arrest and future in the news.

“This week, America continued the delicate, sensitive debate over who will play this guy in the Netflix miniseries,” he began as a picture of Mangione flashed on the screen. “After police arrested suspected CEO shooter Luigi Mangione, they found a note on him expressing anger at corporate America. Yet he went to Starbucks before the shooting and then was caught at McDonald’s. So perhaps his greatest crime was hypocrisy. The McDonald’s where the shooter got caught has been getting one-star Yelp reviews to punish them for snitching. First of all, who looks at Yelp reviews of McDonald’s? The only Yelp review of McDonald’s should be, ‘Was open. Five stars.’”

As a throwback photo of Jost as a nerdy high school appeared, the coanchor said: “Everyone who went to high school with the alleged shooter said they were shocked that he could become an assassin. Whereas everyone I went to high school with was shocked I didn’t.”

Saturday Night Live airs on NBC Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET.

Brandi Glanville Shares New Selfie Amid Health Issues: 'Suck It Haters'

Brandi Glanville Shares Selfie Amid Ongoing Health Issues

Brandi Glanville is silencing rumors about the health issues she’s been facing this year.

After posting a video via Instagram earlier this week declaring she’s back on Cameo, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 52, shared a selfie via X Saturday, December 7, clarifying that her health struggles were still ongoing.

“Guys this is an old cameo! I used it to promote that I’m back on after a year-plus hiatus. Let me share what I look like & why I had to take a pause… check next post & f—ing suck it haters,” Glanville claimed.

In her follow-up post, she wrote, “Sick it!” alongside a selfie that seemingly showed a skin issue. After sharing the photo, she added, “What happened? I wish I knew I’ve been in &out of the hospital this passed year 1/2 spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out. Some Dr.’s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it’s stress-induced edema. I personally say it’s Bravo.”

Former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Stars: Where Are They Now?

Glanville announced on Thursday, December 5, that she was back on Cameo after taking a break to focus on her health. Earlier this year, she revealed that she had to take a break from work to deal with “stress-induced” angioedema, which causes swelling in the deeper layers of the skin, often around the eyes, lips, or cheeks, according to the Mayo Clinic.

In July, Glanville threatened to sue Bravo for allegedly causing stress-induced symptoms, sharing that she hasn’t been able to record new episodes of her podcast, “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered,” because of her being unwell. While it is unclear what “stress” Glanville was referring to, her post also claimed she was “being used as a fallguy.” Glanville also said she has “receipts 4days” regarding the unspecified matter.

“I’ve been left no choice but to sue Bravo,” she wrote via X in July. “This stress has ruined my health. I have uncontrollable stress induced angio-edema I haven’t worked for a year … to [sic] depressed to do my podcast.”

Glanville was also unable to remain on Cameo, claiming that she was “to [sic] swollen 4cameo or OF [Only Fans].”

The former Real Housewife joined Cameo in 2019, which coincided with the beginning of her second stint on RHOBH, and joined OnlyFans in July 2023. She revealed on her podcast in February that OnlyFans “saved” her “life” after she failed to earn an income for six months. (Glanville appeared as a main Housewife on RHOBH seasons 3 through 5 before returning in season 9.)

Glanville has also faced a tumultuous period of late after she was accused of sexually harassing Caroline Manzo during the January 2023 filming of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip season 4 in Morocco.

Although Glanville was not listed as a defendant in Manzo’s lawsuit, Glanville’s legal team responded in a statement at the time, telling Us, “Sadly, Brandi had to wake up to yet another lawsuit that includes defamatory, false accusations about her. While filming, Brandi followed what the producers asked of her, and there was no sexual assault. She is innocent of these absurd accusations that have weighed on her mental and physical health for far too long without a word of support from Peacock, Shed or Bravo.”

One of four surviving pairs worn by Garland in the classic film, the slippers sold for vastly more than the $10 million that the auction house’s executive vice president, Joe Maddalena, initially anticipated. The auction house did not immediately disclose the identity of the buyer.

“There is simply no comparison between Judy Garland’s ruby slippers and any other piece of Hollywood memorabilia,” Maddalena said in a press release. “The breathtaking result reflects just how important movies and movie memorabilia are to our culture and to collectors. It’s been a privilege for all of us at Heritage to be a part of the slippers’ epic journey over the rainbow and off to a new home.”

The record-breaking ruby slippers were famously stolen from the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, in the summer of 2005 and recovered 13 years later by the FBI. They were returned to owner Michael Shaw earlier this year before he handed them over to Heritage for inclusion in the December 7 Heritage’s Hollywood/Entertainment Signature Auction, which drew more than 1,800 bidders worldwide.

The single pair of shoes helped Heritage set the record for an entertainment auction: $38,615,188. That shatters the $22.8 million realized during the 2011 Debbie Reynolds auction held by Maddalena.

The sale was also the largest sum spent at an auction for a piece of entertainment memorabilia, exceeding the previous record-holder, Marilyn Monroe’s subway dress from the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch, which sold in 2011 for $5.52 million with fees, the auction house said.

During the auction, which was reportedly peppered with Wicked and Wizard of Oz references and puns, the auctioneer excitedly held a crouching position à la the Wicked Witch of the West as he pointed to bidders around the room.

The auction also featured other pieces of Wizard of Oz memorabilia, including a Wicked Witch of the West hat worn by the actress Margaret Hamilton, which sold for nearly $3 million, the auction house said.

Other items that were included in the auction: producer Mervyn LeRoy’s copy of the script from the MGM art department, which sold for $50,000; the screen door from Dorothy’s Kansas home, which sold for $37,500; Garland’s “Dorothy Gale” wig from the first week of shooting, which earned $30,000; and the MGM contract signed by “Over the Rainbow” songwriters Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg, which sold at a final price of $23,125.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Spotted Driving Around Together in L.A.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted spending some quality time together over the weekend after enjoying Thanksgiving as a family.

Affleck, 52, was photographed in the driver’s seat of a car with Garner, 52, hopping in the passenger side after picking up some bagels on Saturday, December 7. The exes reportedly had breakfast together and then headed out for a drive in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood before heading to Affleck’s home.

The former couple — who share children Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 — recently spent Thanksgiving as a a family, teaming up to help feed the unhoused community with charity organization Midnight Mission on November 28. Their kids joined them in their efforts to give back to the less fortunate.

Affleck and Garner have maintained an amicable coparenting relationship following their divorce nearly a decade ago. The duo were married from 2005 to 2015 before finalizing their divorce in 2018. Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Lopez in 2022, but the pair split earlier this year. Garner has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018.

Ben Affleck! Scott Foley! Inside Jennifer Garner's Dating History

In 2020, Affleck reflected on his divorce from Garner, calling it “the biggest regret of my life” in an interview with The New York Times. “Shame is really toxic,” he said at the time. “There is no positive byproduct of shame. It’s just stewing in a toxic, hideous feeling of low self-worth and self-loathing.”

He added, “I have certainly made mistakes. I have certainly done things that I regret. But you’ve got to pick yourself up, learn from it, learn some more, try to move forward.”

Garner has been a pillar of support for her ex-husband during some turbulent times, including his recent divorce from Lopez, 55.

“Ben and Jennifer are friends, and they have a great coparenting relationship,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in August. The pair have a “mutual understanding that their kids come first,” the insider noted, adding that the exes “also get along really well.”

Celebrities Who Fell in Love With Non-Famous People: Lana Del Rey and More

“There’s a deep level of trust and respect between them,” the source continued. “[Affleck] has confided in Jen in a lot of ways… especially lately when things with J.Lo haven’t been so great in recent months.”

During an interview on Molly Sims and Emese Gormley’s “Lipstick on the Rim” podcast last month, Garner shared some insightful pieces of advice that her mom, Pat, gave her. One anecdote stood out: “Don’t marry a man thinking you can change him.”

In a tongue-in-cheek, self-aware manner, a laughing Garner stated that she is going to “really work on that one.”

Eddie Murphy’s Son Gets Engaged to Martin Lawrence’s Daughter: ‘Destiny’

In a funny turn of events, Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence are soon-to-be in-laws.

Murphy’s son Eric Murphy and Lawrence’s daughter Jasmin Lawrence announced their engagement on Saturday, November 30, by sharing a touching Instagram video of the proposal.

“11.27.2024 We’re engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter ❤❤,” Jasmin, 28, captioned the post. “Special thank you to everyone who made this moment so beautiful!!”

In the video, the pair, in matching black ensembles, walked down an aisle of flower petals and stood in front of a giant red heart filled with butterflies and surrounded by candles. Eric, 35, then got down on one knee and proposed to Jasmin with a gorgeous ring. “It’s beautiful,” she said before they sealed the engagement with a kiss.

The video is set to the song “Spend My Life with You” by Eric Benét.

Jasmin also reshared photos and videos to her Instagram Stories, with her friend Skylar Smith writing, “MY SISTER IS ENGAGED!!! So excited to spread the news that our family is getting BIGGER! The emotions caught in this picture explain it all. I am so HAPPY for @jasmin_lawrence & @ericmurphy777 !!!! I aspire to have a love as special as yours! I love you both immensely!! LETS GET YALL MARRIED,” Smith, 21, wrote, with Jasmin responding, “We love you so much!!!”

Eric, who is Eddie’s oldest son with his ex-girlfriend Paulette McNeely, and Jasmin, Martin’s first child with ex-wife Patricia Southall, have been dating since 2021. Eddie, 63, is also the father to nine other children and Martin, 59, also has two younger daughters with ex-wife Shamicka Gibbs.

Eddie and Martin have been friends and costars for years, appearing in the 1993 romantic comedy Boomerang together when Eric, born in 1989, was just a toddler. Then, they worked on the Oscar-nominated film Life in 1999 when Jasmin, who was born in 1996, was a preschooler.

Eddie was also among the guests at Martin’s 2010 wedding to Gibbs. In 2019, the twosome reunited for some selfies as they filmed Coming 2 America and the third Bad Boys movie at the same time in Atlanta.

Oddly enough, it wasn’t Eddie and Martin who initially introduced their now-engaged children.

“My uncle actually introduced us, it wasn’t even our dads,” Jasmin, an actress, told In Touch in 2022. “And they’ve done two movies together. They’re friends. It’s crazy. We met through my uncle and became really good friends. We bonded [over] a lot of things. Obviously, we have similar backgrounds so we understood each other on a certain level, and over time it just became more.”

Eddie recently opened up about Eric and Jasmin’s relationship in a July interview with CBS Mornings.

“We thought it was cool,” Eddie told Gayle King of his son and Martin’s daughter getting together. “They’re both beautiful. They look amazing together. And it’s funny [because] everybody [asks], ‘What, is that baby going to be funny?’”

He continued, “Just our gene pool is going to make this funny baby. If they ever get married and have a child, I’m expecting the child to be funny.”

Angelina Jolie Says ‘Being a Parent Is Everything’ to Her

Angelina Jolie Says Being a Parent Is Everything Compared to Any Acting Role
Angelina Jolie and her children

Angelina Jolie would choose her family over fame in an instant.

The actress, 49, said motherhood is “everything” to her during an interview with The Sunday Times, published on December 1. While discussing her starring role in Pablo Larraín’s Maria Callas biopic, Maria, Jolie insisted that she’s lucky enough to not be as lonely as the world-renowned opera singer, who died at the age of 53 in 1977.

“I don’t feel that [loneliness] because I have family,” Jolie said. “Maria didn’t have a family, so her work was everything. My work is not everything. Being a parent is everything.”

Jolie shares six children — Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16 — with Brad Pitt, whom she split from in 2016. Amid allegations of abuse, at least two of the couple’s kids, Vivienne and Shiloh, have dropped Pitt’s surname.

Jolie said she is “grateful this film gave me a time to stop and learn and listen and appreciate,” mentioning that her sons Maddox and Pax — whom she adopted from Cambodia and Vietnam, respectively — worked on Maria as production assistants.

It allowed them to see their mom at work and also understand Callas’ dynamic with those around her. “They were able to consider the relationships in the film and the violence — things that sometimes you don’t have the opportunity to discuss with your sons, so I felt fortunate,” Jolie admitted.

She recently spoke about her love of parenthood in an interview with Good Morning America, in which she told host Michael Strahan that it’s her “happiness.”

“You can take everything else away from me. Nothing else matters,” she insisted.

Jolie also said none of her children want to follow in their parents’ footsteps when it comes to appearing on the big screen.

“None of my children want to be in front of the camera at this time. They’re quite private. Shiloh’s extremely private,” she said. “They weren’t born with privacy, right? So I hope they can have that as they grow.”

Jolie and Pitt, 60, known as “Brangelina,” captured the attention of many after sparking up a romance in 2005 amid his divorce from Jennifer Aniston. They raised their children together and supported each other’s careers for years before tying the knot in August 2014 at their Château Miraval estate — now a site of contention following their split.

A judge tentatively ruled on Monday, November 25, that Pitt must turn over documents and communications that Jolie claims will prove he covered up alleged domestic violence against her and their children.

“We are gratified that the court ruled in Angelina’s favor,” Jolie’s attorney Paul Murphy exclusively told Us Weekly in a statement on Tuesday, November 26. “After Mr. Pitt fought for years to hide this crucial evidence, he must now produce documents and communications concerning abuse, lies to authorities, and years of cover-up. His actions harmed Angelina and their children and are central to this case.”

“I want to again emphasize that Angelina never wanted any of this,” the statement continued. “She never pressed charges, she left all their properties, and she is the one who tried to sell him the business in the first place. To this day, Mr. Pitt has never been held accountable for his actions and has at all times controlled Miraval and the winery, yet he still demands more.”

The statement concluded: “She wants this to end, the children want this to end, and Mr. Pitt should focus on healing their family, not pursuing lawsuits. If he does not, Angelina will defend herself in court by presenting the evidence necessary to demonstrate that Pitt’s allegations are demonstrably false.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie: A Timeline of Their Relationship

In July, Jolie filed court documents claiming that the actor tried to force her to sign an $8.5 million NDA to cover up “years of abuse.” Her legal team asked that the court compel Pitt to disclose “private, third-party communications” he had about their family’s 2016 plane ride that resulted in Jolie filing for divorce and alleging child abuse.

Pitt was later cleared by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.

Jolie argued in the July docs that she “was not acting with malice and the intent to hurt Pitt in response to any custody ruling” when she sold her share of Château Miraval in 2021.

She claimed it was Pitt who “refused to buy her interest unless he received his newly expanded NDA,” she alleged in the filing, claiming that it was designed to “force her silence about his abuse and cover-up.”

Pitt’s career has continued to flourish despite the legal battle. He has not, however, had much contact with his children, who reside with Jolie.

“Sadly, Brad doesn’t have much of a relationship with his kids,” a source told Us. “He’s not ready to give up on them, but knowing they are dropping his name is upsetting.”

Added another source: “Brad’s putting on a brave face, but behind closed doors, he’s finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with [what’s happening].”

Kacey Musgraves Publicly Curses Out Fan Who Grabbed Her Mid-Performance

Kacey Musgraves Cusses Out Fan Who Grabbed Her Mid-Performance: 'This Tampa Bitch'
Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Musgraves made sure to let a handsy fan know how she really felt during a concert stop in Florida on Saturday, November 30.

“The Architect” singer, 36, addressed the crowd at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, detailing an incident that occurred the night before when an attendee grabbed Musgraves mid-performance.

“Last night, this Tampa bitch,” Musgraves said to the audience, who booed in response, in a video posted to TikTok. “Y’all. I know. She kind of ruined it. She kind of ruined it for everybody.”

The Grammy winner went on to joke, “I thought I was going to have to get real East Texas on her. Take off my earrings … um, well Florida goes hard.”

Musgraves concluded: “It felt a little bit like when you type your name and birth date into the Florida man thing, but Tampa girl popped up.”

A Complete History of Saturn Return in Music: Kelsea Ballerini and More

Musgraves was referring to the unfortunate situation that took place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa on Friday, November 29. As she walked through the crowd, singing, a woman reached out and grabbed her, practically spinning her around.

“What the f—?” Musgraves told her in a clip posted to TikTok as she pulled the mic away from her face. The “Rainbow” singer shook her head as she walked away and kept performing, but was clearly unnerved.

According to attendees on social media, the fan was “kicked out” of the venue following the incident.

Musgraves isn’t the first headliner to deal with a handsy fan as of late. During his Florida concert in June, Justin Timberlake swatted away a concert-goer as they reached for his jacket. And Zach Bryan paused two of his recent concerts after getting objects thrown at him.

Kacey Musgraves’ Style Evolution Through the Years

Musgraves, who recently received four Grammy nominations for her 2024 album Deeper Well, is currently on tour. She will make stops in North Carolina and Tennessee before returning to Arizona after the holidays.

“It is so stunning, I have to say,” she told Seth Meyers of her tour in September. “It’s this cool mix of sci-fi and nature, it’s earthy but it’s really a spectacle and I’m really proud of it. At the end of the day, it’s me and it’s my songs and it feels like an intimate show in this arena.”

In their review of her concert, Variety wrote: “For the hour-and-a-half length of her set, the singer could make you believe you were part of a nation that believed in peace, love, understanding, tolerance, a little bit of snark, cheerful agnosticism, saying goodbye to toxicity and hello to self-care, individually and collectively. It was a mellow-ass good time.”

Maria Menounos Says Her Sex Life Is On a ‘Down Cycle’ After Baby

Maria Menounos is keeping it real when it comes to the ups and downs of new parenthood.

During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly earlier this month, the Christmas at Plumhill Manor star, 46, admitted that she doesn’t see much of her husband, Keven Undergaro, since they welcomed their daughter, Athena Alexandra, via surrogate in June 2023.

“I don’t really see Keven anymore. He’s the night nurse. So, you know what that means,” she joked to Us. “No, I mean, it is true. He’s night nursing. That’s his time with her and I’m sprawled out in bed.”

Menounos said she tends to go to sleep when Athena does, which is “soon after sunset.” That bedtime, however, does complicate her sex life.

“It is what it is. We’re just doing,” she said of herself and Undergaro, 57, whom she’s been with since 1998. “Here’s the thing, it’s different for us because we’ve been together forever. So I hear Keven cheering with her in the other room. I love it. So, for us, it’s a little different. We can hang in.”

True Love! Maria Menounos and Keven Undergaro’s Relationship Timeline

Menounos said it’s definitely harder for new couples with kids to focus on their marriages, but she and Undergaro have had years to solidify their relationship.

Keven Undergaro and Maria Menounos

“They have kids and now they’re sex life is down the drain. I mean, we know we’ve been together 27 years. There’s ups and downs when it comes to that. It’s on a down cycle right now. No big deal,” she told Us.

Menounos, who married AfterBuzz TV founder Undergaro on New Year’s Eve 2017 in Times Square and then again during a Greek Orthodox ceremony in 2018, knows her marriage will return to a more normal state soon enough. Plus, she and Undergaro couldn’t wait to dive into parenthood after struggling to get pregnant for 10 years.

The former E! News anchor faced infertility issues that led to IVF treatments, which were halted when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2017. The tumor was removed and she was given a clean bill of health, but her neurosurgeon advised her against carrying a child. When their first surrogate fell through in 2020, Menounos had all but given up hope — then she joyously announced some happy news in February 2023.

“Athena is our miracle baby,” the “Heal Squad” podcast host told Us after her daughter’s birth. “I’m so grateful for her.”

Menounos expanded on Athena’s impact on her life in Us’ November interview. “It’s been the greatest gift. I think the first thing that I felt after she was born is that I finally knew where I belonged. And that was a really incredible feeling. I didn’t feel like I was chasing after anything anymore. And she’s just magic. And I just love every second of it. She’s just brought so much joy to all of us, and I’m so grateful.”

As for whether or not she sees more kids in her and Undergaro’s future, Menounos told Us, “it would be a dream.”

“We’ve already discussed that we wanted to. The second she was born, I’m like, ‘I want more, I need more,’” she said. “And then we were kind of like, well, let’s wait till she’s old enough so that transition feels good for her. So she doesn’t feel like a loss; she feels like a gain and that she’s got a new role. So that’s kind of what we’re thinking.”

Stars Who Got Married on New Year’s Eve Over the Years

Menounos’ life has certainly changed since becoming a mother, but she said Undergaro motivates her to still focus on herself, which allows their partnership to thrive.

“We definitely have each other’s backs and he’s such a champion of mine, and he also really allowed me to be free,” she told Us. “I never felt like I couldn’t be me, and so he never restricted friendships, where a lot of guys will get jealous. Keven was like, ‘Go see X, Y, or Z, you miss your friends,’ and it didn’t matter if they were guys. And I’m a very kind of flirty person. He just never was intimidated by any of it.”

She continued: “We’re best friends and he always — for the most part, sometimes he’ll forget, but — when I’m spinning and spiraling, he’ll really be like, ‘Come on honey,’ and he’ll help me. He’ll be really loving in those moments rather than be annoyed by me or shut me off.”

Menounos can currently be seen in Lifetime’s Christmas at Plumhill Manor, which is available on demand through December.

Dolly Parton Thinks This Miley Cyrus Song Should’ve Been Hers

Dolly Parton Thinks This Miley Cyrus Song Shouldve Been Hers
Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus

Dolly Parton may love her goddaughter Miley Cyrus — but she wasn’t so fond of one song she chose to record.

During a November interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Cyrus, 32, admitted that Parton, 78, was skeptical of her 2023 song “Used to Be Young.”

Cyrus explained: “She goes, ‘I don’t know if I like that new ‘Used to Be Young’ song because it’s not fair that you’re singing about not being young when you’re young and beautiful. And here I am — I’m like 80 — and I’m like, That should have been my song!’”

It seems Cyrus would’ve considered giving the “personal” song to the legendary singer as she confessed she somewhat regrets recording it.

“I actually listened to that song yesterday, and I was asking myself, ‘Did I really need to put this out?’ It was one of those things that maybe now that I’m a bit more private, I would’ve kept private, but I’m happy to have shared it,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “It just feels like a song that’s so personal that it’s hard for people to relate.”

The song’s lyrics read, in part: “I know I used to be crazy / I know I used to be fun / You say I used to be wild / I say I used to be young / You tell me time has done changed me / That’s fine, I’ve had a good run / I know I used to be crazy / That’s ’cause I used to be young.”

Jennifer Aniston, Steven Spielberg and More Celebs Who Are Godparents

Cyrus has lived a lot of life in her 32 years, considering she’s been in the Hollywood spotlight since she was a kid. She was 13 when Hannah Montana premiered in 2006, transitioned into a pop star by 2009, and went through a public relationship-turned-divorce with longtime love Liam Hemsworth in 2019.

In a May 2023 interview with British Vogue, Cyrus opened up about the criticism she faced during her adolescent years as she transitioned from a child star into a young adult. She addressed some of the provocative career moments from her early 20s, like twerking onstage at the 2013 MTV Music Video Awards and licking a hammer during the “Wrecking Ball” music video.

“I’m actually not an attention-seeking person, sitting here as a 30-year-old grown woman,” she told the outlet. “I was creating attention for myself because I was dividing myself from a character I had played. Anyone, when you’re 20 or 21, you have more to prove: ‘I’m not my parents. I am who I am.’”

She added that after being “harshly judged as a child by adults,” she can safely say that “now, as an adult, I realize I would never harshly judge a child.”

As she ages, Cyrus has come to realize that it’s OK to make mistakes and try new things.

“I actually live for it,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “It’s yin and yang. It’s like, you really can’t have one without the other. It’s heaven and hell; it’s dark and light. It’s everything.”

Celebrity Couples Who Have Been Together for 50 Years (Or Longer!)

That attitude rings true in her upcoming studio album Something Beautiful, which she deemed “an attempt to medicate somewhat of a sick culture through music.”

“I would like to be a human psychedelic for people,” the Grammy winner continued. “I don’t want anyone trying to be like me or imitate me or even be inspired by me. I want to impact frequencies in your body that make you vibrate at a different level.”

She also admitted that she wants to try to tackle her career in the same way Parton does — by not oversharing too much of her inner world.

“She lets everyone in and no one in at the same time,” Cyrus said of Parton. “Everyone feels like they know her, but they’re also okay with the fact that they don’t see her without makeup, without the full drag.”

General Hospital's Chad Duell Confirms Show Exit After 14 Years

General Hospitals Chad Duell Confirms Show Exit After 15 Years
Chad Duell

Chad Duell is saying farewell to General Hospital.

The actor, 37, who earned a Daytime Emmy award for his role as Michael Corinthos on the long-running ABC soap opera, announced his departure from the show after 14 years on Saturday, November 23.

“After many incredible years with General Hospital, I’ve decided to step away from the show,” Duell wrote alongside a cast photo on Instagram. “This wasn’t an easy decision for me, but it feels like the right time in my life. I’m beyond grateful to Frank Valentini, the cast, crew, and everyone behind the scenes who have been like family to me throughout this amazing journey.”

He continued, “To all the fans: thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support and for letting Michael Corinthos be a part of your lives. Your love and encouragement has meant the world to me 🙂 This isn’t a goodbye—it’s a see you later. Much love, Chad.”

Most Shocking TV Exits of 2024 'General Hospital,' 'Outer Banks' and More

General Hospital executive producer Valentini confirmed Duell’s exit in a statement posted to X, saying, “I am sad to confirm the news of Chad Duell’s forthcoming exit from #GeneralHospital. I have loved working with Chad over the years and wish him nothing but the best. He is a terrific actor and will be missed by everyone at #GH. There are no plans to recast his role at this time, but you never know in daytime. I can promise a great story for Michael and his family when Chad exits in the new year.”

Duell first joined the soap in March 2010, taking over the role of Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) son Michael from Drew Garrett. Duell earned six Daytime Emmy nominations and won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2015.

Of his 2023 Daytime Emmy nomination, Duell told Soap Opera Digest, “I think having won before, you’re not as nervous or, like, wanting it really bad, you know? It’s just nice, I guess, and more pleasant than going, ‘Oh, man, I hope I win!’ I’m just kind of going with the flow a little more than I have in the past. I’m not trying to overthink it or get too up about it; I’m being more even-keeled. I guess that’s what happens over time — I have more of a ‘whatever happens, happens’ type of mentality. But it would still be nice to win one and say something about my son, Dawson, in a speech or something like that so that he could see it later on. That would be kind of cool, to give him a little shout-out.”

Duell currently has his hands full at home too, as he welcomed his first baby with girlfriend Luana Lucci — son Dawson — in September 2023.

General Hospital marked its 60th anniversary last year. The series is both the longest-running scripted drama and the longest-running American soap opera currently in production, holding the record for the most Outstanding Daytime Drama accolades and taking home the prestigious Daytime Emmy Award a record 17 times.

The show recently lost another one of its key players, with Us Weekly confirming Kelly Monaco would be exiting earlier this year.

Monaco, 48, who has been a staple on General Hospital since 2003, addressed her departure in a since-deleted Instagram comment on a Soap Hub post in September after one user referred to the actress as “monotone, had no primary roles and just boring.”

How ‘Days’ Cast Reacted to Kelly Monaco’s ‘General Hospital’ Exit

“‘No primary role’.. do your homework,” Monaco replied. “When Billy Miller was fired, Sam’s storyline stopped. Stripping Sam of every characteristic she had. Something I worked for decades to build… Slowly dismantling her, into a character that I did not recognize, let alone the audience. Call it what you will… retaliation at it [sic] finest. I will give a proper statement. The truth will set you free.”

The actress wrapped up her character arc as Sam McCall when she was killed off during the Wednesday, October 30, episode.

Michelle Williams received support from her Destiny’s Child sisters Beyoncé Knowles and Kelly Rowland at the opening of her new Broadway musical Death Becomes Her.

The trio posed together backstage at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in photos shared in a reel posted by Beyoncé, 43, on Instagram Saturday, November 23. The “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer and Rowland, 43, attended the premiere on Thursday, November 21, alongside Bey’s mom, Tina Knowles — who also smiled in snaps shared by her daughter.

Although the post wasn’t captioned, Beyoncé set the video to her duet with Miley Cyrus, “II Most Wanted,” which includes the lyrics: “I’ll be your shotgun rider till the day I die.”

“I try not to cry too early in the day BUT……. My sisters 4ever! 🤍💫,” Williams, 45, commented on Beyoncé’s post.

Grammys 2025 Nominations: See the Complete List

The Cowboy Carter songstress also shared a carousel of photos of Williams’ big night with the caption, “My Belle.” Williams plays Viola Van Horn in the musical, which costars Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard and Christopher Sieber as Madeline Ashton, Helen Sharp and Ernest Menville, respectively.

For the Broadway affair, Bey embraced the no-pants trend in a gray ensemble featuring an oversized jacket, cap and thigh-high boots. She accessorized with a black clutch and black glasses.

Rowland also rocked a monochrome look, wearing a fitted, see-through turtleneck dress, fur coat and leather gloves. She shared an Instagram post from the evening on Friday, writing, “BURRRRRR-GUNDY!!”

Death Becomes Her is based on the 1992 film of the same name directed and produced by Robert Zemeckis and starring Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn. It tells the story of two women (Hilty, Simard) fighting for the affections of the same man (Sieber), who decide to drink a magic potion that promises eternal youth from a mysterious woman (Williams).

The Daily Beast called the musical comedy “the most fun night out on Broadway,” with the New York Times praising the actors’ performances.

Williams recently spoke to Sherri Shepherd about missing out on the mini Destiny’s Child reunion at a Kamala Harris rally last month, saying she has to make sacrifices while starring on Broadway in eight shows a week.

“I was so happy [to see them there], but at the same time, it was the first time that I have not been able to be in person for something I wanted to be at,” she told Shepherd on her show. “But they represented and held me down in their own way.”
