The first beta of the next major version of Google’s mobile OS is launching today with Android 16 Beta 1 rolling out to Pixel devices. This release will be available later today.

Notifications are a key part of any device, and they can really make or break an experience. With its One UI 7 update that debuted on the Galaxy S25 Ultra this week, Samsung has decided to adjust lock screen notifications in a way that makes them effectively useless.

Samsung is now rolling out a promotional program called the “Galaxy Club” that allows users to buy the Galaxy S25 with the addition of small payments for the promise of any upgrade after 12 months with the device. The new plan promises a Galaxy S25 Ultra for as low as $8/month.
