more…OpenAI on Tuesday announced a new feature coming to ChatGPT, which will turn the chatbot into a reminder app. Called “Tasks,” the feature will let users ask ChatGPT to remind them about their tasks and even create periodic alerts for specific situations.

more…Apple has officially gained a board seat on the Ultra Accelerator Link Consortium, a group of more than 65 members developing next generation AI accelerator architecture. Apple’s involvement will allow the company to influence the new standard and push for its adoption. That basically means that Apple will be involved in creating and promoting a standard for connecting a bunch of GPUs together in data centers powering AI tasks.
