3 Must-Watch Comedy Movies That Are Perfect to Stream in the Summer

A great summer comedy movie doesn’t necessarily have to be set during summer to fit into that category.

Sometimes it’s enough for a comedy to play so broadly that it successfully competes with the other films in the crowded summer landscape.

The Watch With Us team’s picks for the three must-watch comedy movies that are perfect to stream in the summer are a mixture of both.

Our first two choices are breezy summer comedies, while the third is an action comedy that still plays exceptionally well four decades after its release.

5 Must-Watch Peacock Movies That Are Perfect to Stream in the Summer

‘No Hard Feelings’ (2023)

No Hard Feelings is the perfect example of a summer comedy that was both released during the correct season and takes place during the summer. Jennifer Lawrence ended her big-screen hiatus by stepping into the role of Maddie Barker, a 30ish young woman whose life is coming apart.

Maddie is on the verge of losing her home and her car until she fields an unusual offer from Laird (Matthew Broderick) and Allison Becker (Laura Benanti). In return for dating their awkward college-bound son, Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman), the Beckers will give Maddie the financial lifeline she needs. However, no one told Percy about this arrangement, and Maddie finds that he may be immune to her charms.

No Hard Feelings is streaming on Hulu.

‘Wet Hot American Summer’ (2001)

Wet Hot American Summer lampoons a lot of the ’80s sex comedies that ruled the summer four decades ago. Fortunately, you don’t need to be familiar with the earlier movies to appreciate the jokes in this film, or its intentionally cheesy tone.

5 Must-See Comedy Movies on HBO and Max Right Now (June 2025)

This film also has a ridiculously stacked cast of performers who went on to become stars, including Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler and Judah Friedlander, as well as established actors like Janeane Garofalo, Paul Rudd and David Hyde Pierce. Multiple love stories unfold in and around Camp Firewood as it prepares to shut down for the summer. That leads to a lot of comedic moments, but not everyone gets their happy ending.

Wet Hot American Summer is available to rent or buy on Prime Video.

‘Beverly Hills Cop’ (1984)

Beverly Hills Cop is such a great movie that three different sequels have attempted to recapture the magic in the last 41 years. But there’s nothing quite like the original, which firmly established Eddie Murphy as a movie star. Murphy plays Axel Foley, a detective in the Detroit Police Department who reunites with his old friend, Mickey (James Russo), shortly before the latter is murdered.

To find his friend’s killers, Axel defies his superiors and takes off to Beverly Hills on an unauthorized investigation. Two detectives, Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton), try to keep Axel out of trouble on the West Coast. That was always going to be a losing battle as Axel runs rings around them

Beverly Hills Cop is streaming on Paramount+.

'As the World Turns' Star Eileen Fulton Dies at 91: Report

As the World Turns star Eileen Fulton has died at age 91, reports suggested.

According to Deadline, Fulton (real name Margaret Elizabeth McLarty) passed away in her hometown of Asheville, North Carolina, due to an undisclosed illness. An obituary mentioned that the actress had experienced “a period of declining health,” though offered no further specifics.

Fulton, who was married three times throughout her life, initially joined As the World Turns in 1960 as Lisa Grimaldi, in what was originally supposed to be a short-term role for actress Lois Smith. When Smith was unavailable, Fulton was cast instead and ended up staying on the CBS daytime soap for more than 1,800 episodes over 50 years.

“I knew I was going to get that part,” Fulton told the Television Academy years later. “There were two or three other girls there [at the audition], but I just knew. Even when I walked into the room with all these girls .. I just knew [I’d get the part].”

Kelly Monaco, Alison Sweeney and More Shocking Soap Opera Exits

Lisa Grimaldi was considered the first soap vixen and thus was a trailblazer for future soap icons like Susan Lucci, Katherine Kelly Lang, Brenda Dickson and Kelly Monaco. Lisa’s messy romantic entanglement with Bob Hughes (Don Hastings) in the 1960s is also seen as one of the first examples of a soap “super couple.”

By the mid ‘60s, Fulton was such an in-demand actress that she starred in Broadway’s original production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and the off-Broadway musical The Fantasticks at the same time as she was filming As the World Turns. The actress would shoot the day’s live episode of ATWT, then rush to her Broadway theatre for a matinee performance of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and be back on stage in The Fantasticks each night. (She had earlier studied with pioneering acting teachers Sanford Meisner and Lee Strasberg.)

Fulton joked to The Los Angeles Times in 2000 that her seductive As the World Turns character must have had “thousands of lovers” — as well as eight husbands — throughout her tenure on the soap.

“[Lisa] really couldn’t control herself,” she quipped.

At that time, Fulton admitted that there was truth to longstanding gossip that she could be a diva onscreen and off.

“I want things done right, but I’ve learned that there’s a nice way to ask,” she teased. “I was awful when I first went on the show, and mainly that was insecurity and being scared to death. Our show was live — and that was so hard. I remember just not knowing how to ask somebody to be quiet . . . just saying, ‘Shut the hell up!’ They called me ‘garbage-mouth.’”

Fulton ultimately established her place in TV history, having been inducted into the Soap Opera Hall of Fame in 1998 and earning a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004.

“I hate to sound ungracious, but I felt it was about time [I won an Emmy],” she later told The Television Academy. “I wanted [that Emmy] ten years ago, I really, really did. I’m very happy to have it. I’m delighted and I’m very proud of [it]. … I have [the Emmy] standing right here in my entranceway. I could have said, ‘Oh, I’ll just put in the closet.’ Hell no! I’m going to put it right out here where everyone can see it and lust after it.”

6 ‘General Hospital’ Stars Making Headlines in 2025

Fulton remained as a cast member on As the World Turns until its cancellation in 2010. Aside from her daytime work, Fulton had a minor role in the 1960 drama Girl of the Night and also appeared in the short-lived prime time spinoff of As the World Turns, Our Private World.

Following As the World Turns’ cancellation, Fulton retired to Black Mountain, North Carolina in 2019. The soap legend is survived by her brother, Charles Furman McLarty, and sister-in-law, Chris Page McLarty, as well as niece Katherine Morris and their children.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin Warns Fans Over Kiss Cam After CEO Scandal

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin slyly side-stepped the viral footage of Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron, embracing his employee Kristin Cabot — despite being married to another woman — at one of the band’s concerts.

Martin danced around the unexpected viral impact of Coldplay’s Wednesday, July 16, show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, when he returned to the stage on Saturday, July 19, at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. This time, he made it abundantly clear to fans that they might end up on the jumbotron.

“We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen,” Martin, 48, told fans at the latest Music of the Spheres Tour stop in Wisconsin, according to fan-shot video footage. “How we’re going to do that is we’re going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.”

Martin then laughed, before adding: “Please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now!”

Why the World Is Obsessed With Coldplay’s Jumbotron Affair Drama

Byron, who, according to multiple reports is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, was caught on Coldplay’s kiss cam with his arms wrapped around Astronomer’s chief people officer. Both Astronomer executives quickly ducked out of sight once they realized they were on the jumbotron.

“Whoa, look at these two. Alright, come on. You’re OK! Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy. I’m not quite sure what to do,” Martin joked on stage in the immediate aftermath of the awkward moment.

Martin then admitted, “Holy s***. I hope we didn’t do something bad.”

The Coldplay singer tried making light of the situation as the kiss cam segment continued by asking the next loved-up pair if they were “a legitimate couple.”

Unfortunately for Byron and Cabot, the whole ordeal was filmed by a Coldplay fan and quickly went viral when the footage was shared via TikTok.

Astronomer subsequently confirmed in a statement on Friday that it was launching a “formal investigation” into the matter. While Byron was initially put on temporary leave, Astronomer announced he’d resigned from the company on Saturday, July 19.

“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,” a spokesperson for Astronomer told Us Weekly in a statement. “Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”

The jumbotron scandal has been a hot topic via social media, racking up millions of views via multiple platforms and leading to celebrities such as Chrissy Teigen, Bethenny Frankel and Katie Nolan weighing in.

Coldplay Jumbotron Seemingly Exposes Astronomer CEO’s Affair

“I do not give two f***s about these cheaters,” Teigen, 39, wrote to her fans via her Instagram Story. “My God, it’s consuming you all. Are you OK?”

Former Real Housewives of New York City star Frankel, 54, argued that Byron and Cabot picked the least discrete venue possible for their apparent PDA.

“What’s wrong with a Motel 6? Who could you not run into at a Coldplay concert?” Frankel argued via a social media video. “[There could be] your third grade gym teacher, your gynecologist, your college fraternity brother [or] your daughter’s cheerleading captain. Like, it’s not like it was a Metallica concert. … It’s a pretty mainstream concert.”

Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan and Big Sean were among the multiple touring music acts to reference the incident on stage in the last few days.

Us Weekly has reached out to Astronomer and to both executives for comment on the incident.

Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt’s ‘IKWYDLS’ Rumor Debunked

I Know What You Did Last Summer director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson debunked fan theories that Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt filmed all of their scenes for the new sequel separately.

“[Hewitt and Prinze] absolutely shot their scenes together. hope this helps,” Kaytin Robinson, 37, clarified via X on Saturday, July 19.

The filmmaker weighed in after a fan account tried to “spark a debate” by theorizing that the longtime IKWYDLS costars may not have actually been on set together since there were apparently “cuts and separate shots” throughout the sequel. Once Kaytin Robinson debunked this theory, the fan apologized for being “messy” with their speculation.

Several comments on the X thread referenced longstanding feud rumors between Hewitt and original IKWYDLS costar Sarah Michelle Gellar, who is married to Prinze. (Gellar and Prinze have been married since 2002 and share two children: Charlotte Grace, 15, and Rocky James, 12.)

Jennifer Love Hewitt Shows Off Her Curves in Little Black Dress

There has been speculation dating back to the ‘90s that Hewitt asked producers to kill off Gellar’s character in the original movie so her costar couldn’t return in the 1998 sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Hewitt shot down those accusations during a December 2024 interview on the “I’ve Never Said This Before” podcast.

“I was 18. They were not taking script notes from me, guys,” Hewitt insisted.

The rumors bubbled up to the surface once again prior to the release of the new IKWYDLS film, leading Hewitt to clarify that she was “good” with Gellar.

“I honestly don’t even know what that [rumor] was or how that all came to be,” Hewitt told Vulture. “I just think people don’t want the narrative to be easy. Why do we always have to be against each other and out for each other?”

I Know What You Did Last Summer Director Debunks Freddie Prinze Jr and Jennifer Love Hewitt Rumor

The actress went on, “I haven’t seen Sarah. Literally, we’ve not talked since I  saw her at 18 years old when the first movie came out. That’s why it’s so funny to me. People were like, ‘Say something back.’ And I’m like, ‘What am I going to say? I’ve not seen her.’”

When Hewitt and Gellar didn’t pose together at I Know What You Did Last Summer’s red carpet premiere on Wednesday, July 16, some fans ran with the feud narrative again. (Prinze and Hewitt reprise their roles as Ray Bronson and Julie James alongside a cast of mostly new characters in the legacy sequel.)

This time, Gellar tried to clarify the situation: “For everyone asking — I never got to see @jenniferlovehewitt, who is fantastic in the movie. I was inside with my kids when the big carpet happened. And unfortunately, JLH didn’t come to the after party.”

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum explained that it wasn’t unusual to completely miss a friend or costar at a Hollywood premiere event because so much is happening at any given time.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. Smile On Wedding Anniversary

“If you have ever been to one of these, it’s crazy. I sadly didn’t get pics with most of the cast,” Gellar added. “But that doesn’t change how amazing I think they all are. Unfortunately, some things happen only in real life and not online.”

I Know What You Did Last Summer is now playing in theaters.

Lacey Chabert and Andrew Walker Reunite for New Hallmark Holiday Movie

Lacey Chabert and Andrew Walker are teaming up for their first joint Hallmark holiday movie seven years after they played love interests in My Secret Valentine.

Hallmark Channel revealed during a Saturday, July 19, “Christmas in July” sneak peek that Chabert, 42, and Walker, 46, will costar in the upcoming “Countdown to Christmas” movie She’s Making a List, which will premiere later this year.

The network teased that “this holiday season, Santa has a new helper,” before turning the cameras on Chabert and Walker together on set for the new project.

“It’s my job to decide who’s been naughty,” Chabert said in the teaser video, before Walker chimed in, “or nice, like me.”

The actress joked, “You know the naughty or nice list is meant for kids, right.”

Walker, however, stood his ground. “Well, I still leave milk and cookies out for Santa. I’m basically a very tall 9-year-old,” he said with a laugh.

Walker later told Chabert, “You know I was nice to three people today,” but she still wasn’t impressed. “That’s great Andrew. Still doesn’t count,” Chabert teased.

Lacey Chabert's 'Christmas Quest' Was Magic — Is It Her Top Hallmark Film?

Chabert and Walker are currently filming She’s Making a List, which the network revealed on Saturday will be the 16th holiday feature premiering as part of the network’s 16th annual “Countdown to Christmas” celebration.

The project is also the first-time fans have seen Chabert and Walker back together since 2018’s My Secret Valentine.

Lacey Chabert Joined Hallmark in 2010: Her Network History Explained

In that rom-com, Chabert’s Chloe falls for her mysterious tenant, Seth (Walker), while leaving him chalkboard notes as she faces off against a slick sales rep who wants to buy her family’s winery. Spoiler alert: the mystery tenant and the sales rep are the same guy!

When it comes to She’s Making a List, Chabert plays a Naughty or Nice inspector named Isabel who is “assigned to evaluate mischievous 11-year-old Charlie Duncan,” according to the official log line.

“Things get complicated when Isabel unexpectedly falls for Charlie’s widowed father, Jason Duncan (Walker), and begins to question the rigid rules of her job,” Hallmark teased in a press release. “As Christmas approaches, Isabel must choose between following the holiday algorithm or following her heart.”

The holiday film is something both fans and the stars are excited to see come to fruition. (Walker, for his part, will also star in the third Three Wise Men movie, which was announced earlier this month.)

Where Do Andrew Walker’s 2024 Hallmark Movies Rank Among His Past Hits?

“What a gift it is to reunite with Lacey seven years after our Valentine’s movie,” Walker said in a statement on Saturday. “She truly is the Queen of Christmas not just for the heart she brings to every role, but for her incredible talent. She brings warmth, heart, and comedy with such ease, and she adapts to every role with a grace and talent that makes everyone around her better.”

Chabert is equally as happy to share the screen with Walker once again. “Reuniting with Andrew after all these years to do our first Christmas movie together is such a joy,” she said in her own statement. “Andrew brings so much heart, humor, and warmth to every role, and working with him again felt like coming home. I am thrilled to do this one together … finally.”

Influencer Called Out for Using Mandarin Song in Japan Travel Post

Australian Influencer Sophia Begg faced backlash for using a song in the Mandarin language to document her vacation in Japan.

On Thursday, July 17, Begg, 21, accompanied an Instagram carousel from her first day in Tokyo with Mandarin rapper SKAI ISYOURGOD’s track “Blueprint Supreme,” according to the New York Post. Multiple fans argued that Begg’s song selection was culturally insensitive.

“Girl I love you but please the song isn’t even in Japanese,” one Instagram commenter replied.

Another poster suggested that Begg’s song choice was emblematic of the way Westerners can sometimes mischaracterize Eastern culture.

Boba Tea Company Apologizes After Simu Liu Questions Cultural Appropriation

“This honestly reflects white privilege on another level… being able to pick and choose parts of someone else’s culture for aesthetic without needing to understand or respect it,” Instagram user Dayannee wrote. “Meanwhile, we as Asians grow up being shamed or mocked for these same things. It’s not just a song or a vibe, it’s a lived culture, and treating it like a trend is harmful.”

The commenter pushed back when one of Begg’s fans theorized that she may have simply picked a song that was “currently trending.”

“The song she used is currently trending, but it’s a Chinese audio. If she actually knew it was Chinese, why use it in a post about Japan?” Dayannee replied. “Mixing up two distinct cultures like that, especially just for aesthetics, comes off as surface-level and trendy. It feels racist because it suggests she chose the song simply because it fit an ‘Asian aesthetic,’ without understanding or caring that Chinese and Japanese cultures are entirely different.”

Elsewhere, multiple Instagram users wrote that the mixup felt like “casual racism.” Begg, who goes by the name Sopha Dopha online and has more than 1 million followers, has seemingly only obliquely referenced the criticism thus far.

A subsequent vlog featured Begg dancing on the street, along with the caption: “When the trip makes it out of the groupchat {there’s three of us).”

Us Weekly has reached out to Begg’s representatives for comment.

Despite the controversy, Begg has continued to vlog about her Tokyo trip, including taking fans along to a sumo match, a ride on the subway and a taste-testing tour of the famed Tsukiji Outer Market.

Begg previously faced controversy in 2023 for claiming that she would dress up as a stingray for a costume party, reports the Daily Mail. When a follower referenced survivalist Steve Irwin’s 2006 death in a stingray attack, Begg appeared to make light of the tragedy.

“I’m going to an Aussie dress-up party in a duo costume. They’re going as Steve Irwin and I’m going as a stingray,” she replied.

Robert Irwin Makes Us Emotional With His Latest Nod to Late Dad Steve

Begg’s stingray costume caused a minor scandal on TikTok, leading to her releasing a public apology to the Irwin family in order to “clear up some things.”

“I love Steve Irwin and would never want to cause disrespect to his family or legacy,” the influencer insisted. “He is an iconic Aussie and no offense was meant by my costume … I have thought about and reflected on my costume and I will not be wearing it and apologize wholeheartedly to anyone who was offended by it. That was definitely not my intention. I apologize sincerely.”

Morgan Wallen and More Stars Reference CEO Kiss Cam Scandal on Stage

Coldplay’s seemingly innocent use of a concert kiss cam on their Music of the Spheres World Tour inadvertently became one of the most viral moments of 2025.

At the band’s July 2025 show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, married Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was caught on the jumbotron with his arms wrapped around his company’s chief people office, Kristin Cabot. After Coldplay singer Chris Martin wondered on stage whether he’d just caught the pair having “an affair,” footage of the incident went viral and it wasn’t long before the two Astronomer employees were identified by internet sleuths.

Byron was initially put on leave from Astronomer within hours of the footage going viral, before it was announced days later that he’d resigned from the company entirely. Other major artists on tour — including Morgan Wallen, American Idol judge Luke Bryan and Nickelback — poked fun at the kiss cam scandal at their own shows over the next few days.

“Anybody in here with their sidechick or whatever, I think you’re safe here,” Wallen joked on stage on July 18.

Looking Back at Viral Jumbotron Moments Amid Andy Byron's Kiss Cam Scandal

Keep scrolling for a look back at some of many of the musicians who made light of the kiss cam scandal:

Morgan Wallen

The country music superstar — who is no stranger to controversy on his own — mocked Byron and Cabot’s predicament during his July 18 show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

After assuring anyone with a “sidechick” that they were “safe” at his show, Wallen clarified: “I don’t condone cheating … anymore!”

Nickelback

The “Photograph” band’s frontman Chad Kroeger took time out of their headlining set at the Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Troy, Wisconsin, to offer some useful advice to any mischievous concert-goers.

“Just duck,” he encouraged anyone fearful of his go-pro camera.

At Mansfield, Massachusetts’s Xfinity Center, the “Bounce Back” rapper offered his own practical advice for anyone who could potentially get caught in a compromising position by his kiss cam.

“You don’t want to end up like the mother-f***ers at the Coldplay concert,” he warned. “I hope none of y’all out here are f***ing up right now. Do what you wanna do but have some respect!”

Russell Dickerson

Dickerson had fans in Doswell, Virginia, howling with laughter when he put his hit “Yours” in brand new light.

“If anybody has walked down the aisle to this song, [or] if any CEOs have been to a concert, cheating with HR to this song,” he teased.

Dickerson even proposed changing one key lyric — “I came to life when I first kissed you” — to “I came to life when I first kissed-cam’d you.”

Luke Bryan

The American Idol judge was midway through his set at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, when he warned attendees that it was time for the kiss cam.

“We’re gonna shine our cameras on anybody,” Bryan quipped. “Who’s here with their secretary tonight? Hey, it’s gotta be someone way up there.”

Bryan went on, “Don’t get caught tonight! Do not get caught tonight.”

Jason Aldean

Aldean used the Coldplay controversy to promote his own 2025 summer tour. Writing via Instagram, he urged his fans to “bring your girl to the Aldean show before her CEO does.”

Summer House’s Jesse, Kyle and Carl Recreate Astronomer CEO Kiss Cam Scandal

Summer House stars Jesse Solomon, Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke are joining the entire internet in poking some fun at former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his infamous kiss cam debacle at a recent Coldplay concert.

“Bloody shy #coldplayconcert,” fellow Summer House castmate Westling “West” Wilson captioned a video shared via TikTok on Friday, July 18, featuring a recreation of the moment Byron was caught with his arms around his former employee and HR chief Kristin Cabot — despite the fact that the pair are both married to other people — at the show.

In the video, Carl has his arms wrapped around Kyle as Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin can be heard addressing the crowd at his Wednesday, July 16, concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

As Martin speaks, the pair channel their best impressions by pretending to be the startled pair who immediately attempt to hide from the cameras after they’re caught on the concert’s kiss cam for literally the entire world to see.

“Jesse as the giggling friend really tracks,” one fan wrote in the comments section.

“It was nice of Kyle to let Carl pretend he’s CEO,” another posted.

“Roles were cast perfectly,” yet another fan gushed, while one wrote, “This re-enactment is a solid 10/10.”

Days after the then-CEO went viral following his and Cabot’s attendance at Coldplay’s show, Byron resigned from his post.

“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,” a spokesperson for Astronomer told Us Weekly in a Saturday, July 19, statement. “Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”

The statement added, “Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI. While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We’re continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data & AI problems.”

‘Summer House’ Cast Salaries Are a Mystery: What Have the Stars Said

Byron joined Astronomer — a data orchestration and observability platform — as CEO in 2023 after previously serving as president of tech firm Lacework from 2019 to 2022. He personally announced Cabot’s hiring as Astronomer’s new Chief People Officer in November 2024. (Cabot previously held a similar position at graph database management company Neo4.)

“At Astronomer, our people are the most valuable asset in helping our customers do more to gain a competitive advantage with their data,” Byron said. “Kristin’s exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory. She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer.”
At the time of her Astronomer hiring, Cabot singled out Byron for their “energiz[ing]” conversations throughout the hiring process.

Katie Holmes and Mindy Kaling Are Fans of These Wear-With-Anything Mules — Now Just $89

Finding a shoe that looks polished, feels comfortable and works with most of your closet can feel like a lost cause — especially if you’re not into sky-high heels. But Katie Holmes and Mindy Kaling may have cracked the code with the Franco Sarto Malina Mule — a sleek kitten-heeled style that’s now just $89 (originally $115) on Amazon.

Earlier this year, Katie styled hers with ruffled hem trousers, a loose blouse and an oversized blazer for a relaxed but elevated look. Mindy, on the other hand, went casual with a tank top and jeans. Two totally different outfits, same exact shoe, which tells you everything you need to know about how versatile this silhouette really is.

How Katie Holmes Perfects Work-to-Weekend Style

The Franco Sarto Malina Mule is a pointed-toe slip-on with sculptural cut-out details and a low, 1.625-inch heel that adds just enough lift without sacrificing comfort. The design is clean and modern, but the faux leather cage upper adds an edge, making it easy to dress up or pare down.

Shoppers love the mix of style and practicality. “As I grow older, lower heels are the better option. The quality is good and the shoes are comfortable,” one reviewer said. Another wrote, “They look expensive but are not. Worth every dime!”

Whether heading into the office, dressing up in denim or looking for a heel that won’t leave your feet sore, this is one of those rare pairs that does it all and looks good doing it. And now that they’re under $100, it might be worth grabbing them in more than one color.

Sara Foster Reveals if Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's Wedding Included NDAs

Sara Foster is dishing on the wedding of the year after attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s star-studded nuptials.

“You went, you were a guest, I faceTimed you several times for gossip and updates — didn’t take any of my calls. Gave no information,” Erin Foster asked her sister Sara, 44, on the Thursday, July 17, episode of the pair’s “The World’s First Podcast.”

“Did you sign an NDA?” Erin, 42, inquired, referring to a no-disclosure agreement that would preclude anyone from discussing the wedding publicly.

“No, absolutely not,” Sara responded. “No one signed NDAs. No NDA.”

She continued, “It’s so interesting how the optics were this over-the-top, you know … it’s just not what it was. It actually felt very intimate, you know?”

Inside Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Pajama Wedding Party

Bezos and Sanchez said “I do” in a lavish, $11 million wedding ceremony in Venice, Italy, on June 27. Some of their reported guests included Kim Kardashian and her sisters, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall, as well as Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessica Alba, Usher and Brooks Nader.

Sanchez, 55, spent the last two years envisioning her dream wedding — in 2024, she revealed on Today that she’s “just like every other bride, so I do have a Pinterest board.” She and Bezos went public in early 2019 and got engaged in May 2023 aboard their 417-foot sailing yacht, where he popped the question with a 30-carat ring.

“I’m gonna be a mess on the day, but the best kind of mess,” she told Vogue a few weeks before walking down the aisle in custom Dolce & Gabbana, noting that Bezos was “more involved than people think” in the planning process.

On June 28, the couple and their guests reportedly danced the night away during an “elevated but relaxed” lingerie and pajama party, with a source telling Us Weekly at the time that “everyone was [dressed on-theme].”

“It was all about the music and the partying,” the source continued. “It was an insane dance party.”

Tom Brady 'Danced With' Sydney Sweeney, More Stars at Bezos Wedding: Report

When discussing the couple’s wedding — arguably the most talked about celebrity affair of the decade — Sara admitted that what people saw via the press and online posts is basically what you got.

“I feel like you kind of saw it all,” she said of the nuptials. “Do you have any specific questions?”

Erin then asked if Sara danced with any celebrities during the celebratory affair, asking specifically if she partied with someone other than Sydney Sweeney, Tom Brady or Orlando Bloom.

“No,” Sara replied. “There were a lot of other people [there], but I can’t [name them]. I’m not going to do that, but it’s very interesting how many people went unphotographed.”

She added, “It was definitely a very interesting set up.”

Margot Robbie Can’t Stop Wearing These Internet-Famous Ballet Flats — Get the Look for $50

Margot Robbie may have hung up her Barbie heels, but that doesn’t mean she’s done serving looks. The actress’s off-duty style has always felt equal parts playful and polished, and lately, she’s been leaning into the internet’s favorite shoe trend: mesh ballet flats. She’s been spotted multiple times in Alaïa’s cult-loved mesh ballet flats — and honestly, we get it. They’re breathable, chic and feel like a modern take on the Mary Jane.

If you’re as obsessed with the ballet flats, but don’t have $950 to drop, there’s a lookalike on Amazon for just $50 that delivers on both style and comfort. The Emma New York Mesh Ballet Flats channel the same fishnet feel with a sleek cross-strap design and lightweight, foot-hugging material that reviewers swear by.

Katie Holmes Wears These $790 Ballet Flats — Here's the $34 Lookalike

Unlike some trend shoes that look better than they feel, these are shockingly wearable. “I walked for hours and hours on a European trip and didn’t get a single blister,” one reviewer wrote. Another said they were “incredibly comfortable and fashionable,” adding that sizing up a half-size worked well for them.

Aside from the walkability factor, the adjustable strap makes them friendly for wider feet, and the flexible mesh doesn’t dig into the bunion area —a win for anyone who usually has to break shoes in.  One shopper said they didn’t require any breaking in at all.

If Margot’s ballet flats have you thinking about making the switch from sneakers, same. This Amazon lookalike is the perfect way to get the look without the splurge.

Kelsea Ballerini Admits She Is Worried About Chase Stokes 'Taking' Her Job

Kelsea Ballerini knows there’s no such thing as total, 100% job security — especially when she sees the talent of her boyfriend, Outer Banks star Chase Stokes.

“He’s a really good singer,” Ballerini, 31, exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, July 15, in partnership with Pantene to promote its new campaign, “Fixins for Country Fried Hair,” featuring the country music star as the brand’s Healthy Hair Ambassador.

“He’s a really good singer and he is a really good guitar player,” she continued, “so I’m worried about him taking my job, I’ll tell you that.”

The singer and new coach on season 27 of NBC’s The Voice says the pair – who were first romantically linked in January 2023 — find new ways to challenge each other while simultaneously supporting each other in their various career endeavours.

Kelsea Ballerini Gushes Over Boyfriend Chase Stokes

“You do [challenge each other], or it’s boring and then you’re stagnant and then that’s not going to work out,” she explained. “I think we’re two and a half years in, so [the relationship]looks a lot different now than it did in the beginning.”

She continued, “I don’t know, I think we’re really similar — and in the ways that we’re different, that’s where we challenge each other. But it’s in a way of wanting the… I just want all the good things in the world for him.

According to the singer, the demands of their individual schedules has “flip flopped” recently, after she had what she described as a “really heavy spring.”

“He has a really heavy summer through fall shooting, so he was such a grounding support system for me during that tour,” she added. “And now I get to do the same. So we’re just yin and yang.”

The “Peter Pan” singer and the Netflix star were first spotted together at the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship in L.A. Stokes included a cuddly photo from inside the arena in the Instagram dump that sparked dating rumors with Ballerini.

One month later, the artist confirmed their romance while appearing on a February 2023 episode of the hit “Call Her Daddy” podcast, revealing that she slid into Stokes’ DMs.

“[My manager] was like, ‘You know who’s really cute, like, when you’re ready? Chase.’ I was like, ‘You’re so right,’” she said at the time. “His handle is ‘hichasestokes’ and I just said, ‘Hi Chase Stokes.’”

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes Have Double Date at 2025 ACM Awards

While Ballerini might fear her boyfriend’s singing prowess, it’s perhaps Stokes who should be worried about his job security after Ballerini made her acting debut on the sixth episode of ABC’s medical drama Dr. Odyssey in November 2024.

“I’m open. I’m open,” she told US of her potentially making another TV or movie appearance. “It was so much fun and I really wanted to do it for the longest time. I was like, ‘I’m not going to try acting’ I was so scared of sucking and failing on camera. How embarrassing is that? So I was like, ‘I feel like I should run towards the things that scare me.’ And I tried it and I really enjoyed it.”

She added, “So I think if there’s the right thing, the right story to tell and if I was the right person to tell the story, why the heck not?”

Shannon Sharpe Settles $50 Million Lawsuit Alleging Rape and Sexual Abuse

Shannon Sharpe has settled the $50 million lawsuit filed against him.

Sharpe, 57, was accused of rape in a lawsuit filed in April by a woman identified only as Jane Doe. She requested $50 million in damages and accused Sharpe of raping her twice.

“On April 20, 2025, The Buzbee Law Firm filed a complaint in Nevada making several allegations against Shannon Sharpe on behalf of our client,” the woman’s lawyer Tony Buzbee said in a statement to Us Weekly on Saturday, July 19. “Both sides acknowledge a long-term consensual and tumultuous relationship. After protracted and respectful negotiations, I’m pleased to announce that we have reached a mutually agreed upon resolution. All matters have now been addressed satisfactorily, and the matter is closed. The lawsuit will thus be dismissed with prejudice.”

Sharpe was accused of committing assault, sexual assault, battery and sexual battery against the unidentified woman. In court docs obtained by NBC Sports, Jane Doe said she met Sharpe in a gym when she was 20 and that he told her he would “buy her fake t**s” if she won a weight-loss contest.

What to Know About Shannon Sharpe Rape and Sexual Battery Accusations

She also said the pair had “a rocky consensual relationship” for two years and further accused Sharpe of recording their sexual activity without her permission. She also alleged that he would then show the recordings to other people.

Sharpe has denied all of the allegations against him. On April 21, Sharpe’s attorney Lanny J. Davis told Us Weekly the woman’s lawsuit was “filled with lies, distortions, and misrepresentations — and it will not succeed.” The sports commentator also accused her of committing “a blatant and cynical attempt to shake down Mr. Sharpe for millions of dollars.”

“He stands firmly by the truth and is prepared to fight these false claims vigorously in court,” Davis said in a statement. “He looks forward to vindication through due process and a judgment based on the facts and the law.”

Davis also released alleged text messages exchanged between the pair that he said would prove “this was a consensual relationship that included role playing, sexual language and fantasy scenarios.”

“I’m going to be open, transparent and defend myself because this isn’t right,” Sharpe said April 22 via Instagram. He then said of Buzbee, “I believe he’s going to release a 30-second clip of a sex tape that tries to make me look guilty and play into every stereotype you could possibly imagine.

“That video should actually be ten minutes or so,” he added. “Hey, Tony, instead of releasing your edit, put the whole video out. I don’t have it, or I would myself. You know what happened and you’re trying to manipulate the media.”

Sharpe also revealed the woman’s name, adding, “What they’re getting [now] is sued for defamation and trying to take me down. My career is all about real talk and honesty. I know my family and fans know exactly what this is about, and I’m going to be out there telling you whatever I need to say, just like I always do. I love all you guys.”

Jay-Z Asks Court to Sanction Rape Accuser's Lawyer in Dismissal Attempt

Buzbee released his own response via Instagram the same day.

“On the one hand Mr. Sharpe and his lawyers claim that the case filed by Jane Doe is meritless, yet on the other hand they now have disclosed that Mr. Sharpe offered Jane Doe $10 million in writing not to file her lawsuit. That is a true statement,” Buzbee wrote. “Jane Doe was in fact offered $10 million to settle but rejected that offer, choosing instead to proceed with litigation. Sharpe’s team is now trying to discredit and dox her. Sharpe and his team are now, as anticipated, also attacking me. We are not going to be deterred by these tactics.”

Dolores Catania Discusses Her 'Traitors' Prize Money and Season 4's Cast

Dolores Catania is opening up about her The Traitors’ prize money and what she really thinks about the series’ season 4 cast.

“We had to fill out paperwork,” Dolores, 54, exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, July 15, while promoting her new content series The Dish on GLP-1s in partnership with Advanced Herbals, the makers of Dramamine.

“I literally filled out the paperwork and got it the next day,” she added of her reality TV bounty. “Yeah, so my prize money I donated to a few of the shelters that I work with and things like that.”

Dolores was one of four Faithfulls who walked away victorious at the end of Season 3, splitting the $204,300 grand prize.

Dolores Catania Talks Filming 'The Traitors': 'The Game Becomes Your Life'

“I am a Faithful and that is the way I want to leave,” she shared while casting her final vote. Fellow winners Danielle Reyes, Britney Haynes, Gabby Windrey and Dylan Efron all, like Dolores, refused to banish anyone else from the reality series competition and instead opted to trust their fellow players and split the money equally.

“We did it! Despite all the odds, we are the most Faithfuls to ever win and honestly it feels so good,” Gabby told the cameras shortly after the group’s win. “But life has taught me that doing the hard thing and doing the right thing are often the same. But you will get an even greater reward.”

In addition to revealing when she received and how she spent her prize money, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star also told Us what she really thinks about The Traitors’ season 4 cast, which includes Dorinda Medley, Candiace Dillard Bassett and Lisa Rinna, among many others.

“Wives for the wins? I think they’re a great choice,” Catania said of the cast, which also features Donna Kelce, Colton Underwood, Porsha Williams, Caroline Sanbury, Ian Terry, Natalie Anderson, Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho, Mark Ballas, Kristen Kish, Eric Nam, Michael Rapaport, Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski.

“They’re all very strong personalities,” she added. “Dorinda’s brilliant, I’m glad the world gets to see her, now, play the game.”

She continued, “I knew she would do good if she’s there. I’m glad that she has her redemption season. I hope it works out.”

DWTS' Mark Ballas Teases 'Castle of Chaos' on ‘The Traitors’ Season 4

As for her reality TV future amid The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s indefinite hiatus, Catania has a few beloved series in her sights.

“Oh my god, first of all — I miss Traitors every day of my life. It was the most amazing experience of my entire life,” she explained to Us. “You have no idea.”

She added, “Dancing With the Stars — I’m here for it. That’s my dream, to be a ballroom dancer. My mom has wanted me to be a ballroom dancer my whole life, so I would like to do that. I know it’s really hard and challenging. And Special Forces, that’s another one. I’m insane to even put that into the universe, but I liked to be challenged so I wouldn’t mind.”

Big Brother's Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo’s Relationship Timeline

Reality stars Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo go way, way back.

The duo, who recently opened up about their life together in Michigan with their son Arrow, kicked off their romance back in 2018, when the pair met as cast members on the 18th season of Big Brother. The couple didn’t actually begin a relationship at the time, but rekindled their friendship at the premiere of Big Brother season 19.

Since then, it’s been smooth sailing for the now family of three. Nicole and Victor have been through a lot — including a slew of reality shows — together, and the highs and lows of life both on- and off-camera has only made their bond stronger.

From Big Brother to Amazing Race, here’s a look at the relationship between Franzel and Arroyo.

Couples Who Survived the Reality TV Curse (So Far)

September 2017

Nicole and Victor met when they each first appeared on the 18th season of Big Brother, even though they didn’t begin their relationship until after filming had wrapped.

“Everything came together for the premiere of Big Brother 19, where we were in New York and we just clicked,” Arroyo told ET in September 2017. “From then on, it was, I guess it was a love story, and now she’s my girlfriend.”

The pair spent a significant part of their early time together long-distance, since Nicole lived in Michigan and Victor lived in New Orleans. Victor also told ET at the time that the couple were taking their time to see how things between them would develop.

“So, kinda see how that plays out, but it’s exciting. She’s friggin’ awesome. A lot of people don’t know her beyond Big Brother, but she’s a sweetheart in real life and I love her to death,” he said.

During the season 20 finale of Big Brother in September 2018, Victor proposed to Nicole, telling her, “Nic, we met in the Big Brother house over two years ago. And right away, I thought you were the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen, and I fell in love with your personality.”

“We formed a friendship in the Big Brother house, but our friendship really blossomed outside in the real world,” he continued. “I knew the moment that we had that first kiss in New York that I was in love with you.”

November 2020

Nicole and Victor were forced to postpone their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with an initial wedding date of November 2020.

May 2021

The pair ended up getting married in May 2021, after announcing they were expecting their first baby together in January of the same year.

“It feels amazing! We’ve been waiting for this moment for so long and it’s finally happened,” the couple exclusively told Us. “All the stress of having a wedding is lifted off our shoulders. Now all our attention is focused on having a healthy and happy baby.”
