Emily Simpson is setting the record straight on one cruel assumption surrounding her son’s eating disorder.

“I have to say, I’ve had some people say negative things about the eating disorder, and they’ll make a correlation between me having surgery or me losing weight,” Emily, 49, exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Wednesday, July 16, when promoting The Real Housewives of Orange County. “This has nothing to do with a child wanting to lose weight or having a body image. This is a neurodivergent disorder that has to do with his brain and how he operates.”

On the season 19 premiere of RHOC, Emily revealed that her 10-year-old son, Luke, was recently diagnosed with avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).

According to the Cleveland Clinic, ARFID is a condition that limits your food intake. Those facing the eating disorder can lose interest in eating, feel anxious about the consequences of eating and avoid foods that have an unwanted color, taste, texture or smell.

While Emily has allowed Bravo to document her own health and fitness journey over the years, she made it clear to Us that ARFID “has nothing to do with me and losing weight or gaining weight.”

Ever since sharing her son’s story on the July 10 episode of Bravo’s reality show, Emily said she has had countless moms reach out with support and resources.

While she is still searching for answers, Emily is comforted by the fact that she is not alone.

“We definitely know that he has ARFID. The ARFID has a lot of symptoms that overlap with autism,” she explained. “We did take him to a specialist to be tested. He did some very extensive testing that comes up later in the season. I’m still not really clear on a lot of things.”

Both Emily and her husband, Shane Simpson, have vowed to be the best parents for their son. (The couple also share daughter Annabelle, 12, and son Keller, 10.)

“A school counselor told me this,” Emily recalled. “She said, ‘Emily, you know, it’s not always good to just put a label on something.’ I want a label so that I can tell people, ‘He has this, this and this.’ At the end of the day, I don’t know if that’s the best thing. He is what he is, and he is very complicated.”

Since sharing her story, many of Emily’s costars have been able to put aside any TV drama to support their friend.

Christina Applegate is ready to open up about her career and battle with multiple sclerosis (MS) in her upcoming memoir.

Hachette Book Group announced on Thursday, July 17, that Applegate, 53, will be releasing her debut book titled You With the Sad Eyes next year.

“I truly believe that books can make people feel less alone. That’s why I’m doing this,” Applegate said of her inspiration to write the memoir. “You With the Sad Eyes won’t be some big violin scratching for my life. But it will be real. It will be filled with the ups and downs, the humor and grief of life. So here I am. Real me. Lots to say.”

According to the synopsis, Applegate will “unveil the full story of her years in the public eye, and the painful moments the public didn’t see.” The actress will reflect on the early days of her career, her battle with MS and returning to work amid her health struggles.

You With the Sad Eyes will be published by Little, Brown and Company and is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2026.

Applegate announced that she was diagnosed with MS in 2021. MS causes breakdown of the protective covering of nerves, per the Mayo Clinic. The disease can cause numbness, weakness, trouble walking, vision changes and other symptoms. There is no cure.

“It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition,” she wrote via X at the time. “It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a**hole blocks it. As one of my friends that has MS said, ‘We wake up and take the indicated action’. And that’s what I do. So now I ask for privacy. As I go through this thing. Thank you xo.”

Since going public with her condition, Applegate has been candid about her struggles and how it’s affected her everyday life.

“I didn’t know what was happening to me. That January, my toes got numb, and I ignored it. The balls of my foot got numb, and I ignored it. All of a sudden, I’d be, like, falling over,” she said in a September 2022 interview with Variety. “People were like, ‘Oh, it’s just neuropathy.’ At this point, they had to take me with a wheelchair to set because I couldn’t walk if the set was far. I was sleeping all the time, and I gained 40 pounds — a lot of things happened.”

As Applegate has struggled with MS, she believed that her starring role in Dead to Me would be her last.

“I’m probably not going to work on-camera again,” Applegate said in a May 2023 interview with Vanity Fair before expressing her joy to work alongside Linda Cardellini. “I’m so glad that I went out with someone who is by far the greatest actress I’ve ever worked with in my entire life, if not the greatest human I’ve ever known.”

The following year, Applegate made a triumphant return to the Emmys, where she received a standing ovation before presenting the award for Best Supporting Actress.

Hugh Hefner’s widow, Crystal Hefner, filed court documents to drop the Playboy founder’s famous last name ahead of her upcoming wedding, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Thursday, July 17, Crystal, 39, filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to legally change her name from Crystal Margaret Hefner to Crystal Margaret Harris.

“I am a widow and reclaiming my maiden name,” she wrote in her filing.

Crystal married Hugh in 2012 and was by his side when he died in 2017 at the age of 91.

Last month, Crystal spoke out on social media about her desire to go back to her maiden name.

She said she had struggled to get her Instagram handle changed back to Harris instead of Hefner.

The model admitted she accomplished a lot with the Hefner name. She said she made “eight figures” and “launched businesses.” She added, “But here’s the thing — none of that was ever about the name. In her recent memoir, Crystal admitted, “I was never in love with Hef, but I loved this old man in the ways you are supposed to love your elders.”

ESPN basketball personality Chiney Ogwumike wants people to give Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese a break as she navigates her second WNBA season.

“Let her cook. In the words of GloRilla, let her cook,” Ogwumike, 33, told Us Weekly exclusively at the 2025 ESPYs on Wednesday, July 16. “I feel like the microscope that these women are under is something that’s so unparalleled. And we’re a league where we are sisters and we stand together.”

Reese, 23, is getting ready to participate in her second All-Star game in as many seasons in the WNBA, but she’s become a lightning rod for online vitriol — some of it due to her unapologetic nature and some of it just a product of racism.

“I believe for all of our players, we have to show them support as they grow and try to find themselves,” continued Ogwumike, a two-time All-Star herself. “The weight [of] the crown that she wears is very heavy, but she wears it with grace and her game is just blossoming.”

Ogwumike isn’t the only star athlete to jump to Reese’s defense. Sheryl Swoopes, Shaquille O’Neal and Gilbert Arenas have all spoken out after former Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III attempted to denounce a racist image of Reese shared on social media by resharing the image and accusing her of hating Caitlin Clark — something Reese has continually denied.

Reese and Clark, also 23, were set to meet in the All-Star Game, taking place Saturday, July 19, at Clark’s home arena in Indianapolis, but a groin injury will keep Clark on the sidelines. Reese, for her part, missed Chicago’s last game before the break with a leg injury and her status for the weekend is still unclear.

Although there have been some HGTV show cancellations, Jack McBrayer has loved filming Zillow Gone Wild.

“[I’m] having a blast,” McBrayer, 52, exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the HGTV show’s second season, which premieres on Friday, July 18. “I mean, I get to do what a lot of people just do online. I get to do [it] in real life and see these crazy homes, but also it’s just fun.”

Zillow Gone Wild, based on the popular Instagram account, follows McBrayer as he takes viewers on tours of the craziest properties on the market and explores the backstories of each buyer and seller.

The 30 Rock alum noted that he loves “meeting the people” on the show, especially the “homeowners who have made these crazy choices” and still want to share their stories.

“I mean, they’re putting themselves in a very vulnerable spot,” McBrayer explained to Us. “A lot of these people have never been on television, so it’s been a fun ride all around.”

“As crazy as you think this house might be, I bet you anything, there’s going to be somebody else in the country, in the world who wants that house for that same reason,” he shared.

McBrayer has had a lot of “fun seeing” how someone’s “home can be an artistic expression.”

“I guess I never really thought of a home that way,” he revealed. “I thought of just protection and warmth or all that kind of stuff, but it is really fascinating to see how people just use it as a canvas for their own creativity.”

While there have been many homes McBrayer has been shocked by, there were a few that really stood out to him.

It’s a tree house in the middle of downtown Austin. So cool. And that definitely makes you pause. Oh, this one in Tucson, Arizona, almost completely made of glass bottles.”

McBrayer noted that season 2 of the series will have “a little more expensive home[s]” so they got to see some more “opulent places.”

“When people have a little more money, they can make these big, bold choices,” he added.

Although the actor and comedian didn’t expect to be the host of Zillow Gone Wild, the show has been such a “joy” for him.

Austin Nichols is game to return to North Carolina for the One Tree Hill revival.

Nichols, 45, revealed whether or not he’d be open to joining Netflix’s upcoming revival of the WB/CW drama during his appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of I Know What You Did Last Summer on Monday, July 14.

“I would absolutely love to,” the actor, who played Julian Baker in the original series, told Deadline. “I spent a lot of years doing that show and fell in love with Wilmington, North Carolina, and made a lot of great friends there. We had a lot of fun. And ultimately, when something still has this kind of excitement around it this many years later, you kinda go, ‘Oh my God! Yeah, why not make more of it?’ People still watch it and love it.”

Nichols continued, “So, I think it could be great. I know that they’re writing scripts, and there’s been some notes and some back and forth. It sounds good. Hopefully we have some good news soon.”

Nichols’ character, Julian, joined the show in season 6 in 2008, going on to marry Bush’s character, Brooke Davis. The beloved onscreen couple welcomed a set of twin sons, Jude and Davis. At the end of the series, filmmaker Julian developed and produced a television series based on Lucas Scott’s (Murray) book, An Unkindness of Ravens.

Variety first reported in August 2024 that Netflix was developing a new version of One Tree Hill with Bush, 43, Morgan, 43, and former costar Daneel Ackles, with the project produced under Danneel, 45, and husband Jensen Ackles’ Chaos Machine banner.

The series is reportedly slated to follow Bush and Morgan as Brooke and best friend Peyton Sawyer, respectively, as they raise their teens in Tree Hill. Daneel is also said to be in talks to reprise her role as Rachel Gatina. Christmas in Louisiana director and producer Emily Wilson will serve as a producer, according to Deadline.

Bush later offered an update on the project in December 2024, revealing that it was still in development.

“It’s unfortunate when development news leaks early … that’s a bit of a bummer for us as we wanted to get it across the finish line and then have a party,” she told Access Hollywood. “But I will say the process is really incredible. Bush continued, “I think 10 years ago, I would have said, ‘Not on your life.’ Now I realize the opportunity to have not just a comfort show, but kind of a home base matters to people. Susie Evans is pulling back the curtain on her time as a contestant on Bachelor in Paradise and where she stands now with ex Justin Glaze.

Susie, 31, reflected on Justin’s shocking rose ceremony offer — which she declined — during the Thursday, July 17, episode of the “Viall Files” podcast. (Justin, also 31, ultimately went home but gave his rose to Jill Chin to save her from being eliminated.)

“I just felt so bad. I was like, ‘I’m so sorry,’” Susie said, explaining that she didn’t know Justin would leave the show if she didn’t accept the rose. “That is why I was so sick [to my stomach].”

Now, Susie and Justin are on “really good terms” — and she has spoken with Lexi Young, whom Justin pursued a connection with in Costa Rica.

Susie noted that she was asleep and in transit when she received the phone call, saying the moment was “great television.”

“I think people really want to stay on the show. I did. I really wanted to be there,” Susie said. “I think a part of it that’s disappointing for me was I literally had so much fun. It does look like I’m crying. And I’ve seen a lot of things that are like, ‘You’re just crying over Justin the whole time you were there.’ No, I’m crying because when I arrived, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m going home. You sent me in with an umbrella. Nobody was really excited to see me.’”

Susie realized “as soon” as she was sent into the show that it was not going to be “what [she] thought it was” and was “really disappointed.”

“When I started crying that night — one, I’m starting the process to get my eggs frozen. I had just gotten some information back, like, before getting there. I had shared that — that didn’t make the cut. Not that I would want it to,” she said. “I had shared that with Justin. He knows I’m going through that process. But then he asked me how I was doing and I just started crying because I was like, ‘I’m going home. There’s nobody here for me.’”

Susie quipped that the “pickings were slim” with the men on the beaches of Costa Rica, claiming she was told ahead of time there was someone she should pursue — which she thinks might have been Dale Moss. (At the most recent rose ceremony which aired earlier this week, Dale, 36, gave his rose to Kat Izzo.)

“I think he’s the person that they were telling me about before going. They were like, ‘There’s somebody coming that we think you are going to really hit it off with,’” she said. “I’m like, ‘Do tell. Do tell.’ I’m like, ‘Put me in, please.’ They’re like, ‘He’s older. He’s got a real job.’ … I thought it was multiple people. But I got there and I was like, ‘Oh, this is who they’re talking about, but he’s occupied.’”

Porsha Williams’ ex-husband Simon Guobadia revealed he is seeking a massive six-figure sum in damages from The Real Housewives of Atlanta star as part of his federal lawsuit against her, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by Us, Guobadia, 61, told the court he will be seeking $500,000 for lost business opportunities and sponsorships. In addition, he will also be seeking unspecified general damages for harm to his reputation, emotional distress and humiliation.

Guobadia said he believes he is also entitled to punitive damages for Williams’ alleged “malicious conduct.” As Us previously reported, Guobadia sued Williams, 44, for defamation in November 2024 over a series of Instagram posts she made.

Guobadia, who split from Williams in 2024, claimed their relationship became “contentious” when she started “making negative, false and misleading statements about him on social media, using her outsized platform to negatively influence public perception of him.” In his suit, he said Williams made statements regarding erectile dysfunction.

“These posts were intentionally crafted to imply that [Guobadia] suffers from this condition, casting him in a negative and humiliating light,” his lawyer alleged.

Guobadia’s attorney added, “The nature, timing, and context of these posts, amidst the couple’s public separation, led reasonable viewers to infer that [Williams’] statements were referring to [Guobadia] – because they were.”

In court documents, Guobadia argued that Williams’ posts were “presented in a factual manner” that implied he had ED and were “clearly intended to cast” him in a “negative and humiliating light.”

“[Williams’] statements were false; [Guobadia] does not have ED and has never suffered from or been diagnosed with this condition,” his lawyer wrote.

The businessman, who was recently deported, claimed he had suffered emotional distress and personal anguish due to the Instagram posts made by his ex-wife.

His suit added, “By making these claims in a public forum, [Williams] ensured their immediate and widespread dissemination, amplifying the harm to [Guobadia’s] credibility and social esteem.”

In response, Williams demanded the suit be thrown out of court. Her lawyer wrote, “None of [Williams’] posts refer to any particular individual, let alone [Guobadia] specifically. [Williams] cannot and should not be held liable for sharing information regarding a common condition that likely plagues many of [Williams’] social media followers. For this reason, and the reasons detailed herein, this Court should dismiss [Guobadia’s] Complaint in its entirety.”

Her lawyer argued, “These posts simply provide information regarding a common condition, and Defendant even uses the hashtag ‘Mens Health Awareness’ to draw awareness to the information that may help some of Defendant’s social media followers.”

In his new filing, Guobadia claimed he would submit his medical records to rebut “implications” made by Williams. The case is ongoing.

As Us first reported, last month, Williams’ divorce was finalized. The judge ruled in the RHOA star’s favor and said the prenuptial agreement would be enforced, which Guobadia had opposed. He vowed to appeal the decision.

Chris “Mad Dog” Russo returned to ESPN after a father-son golf trip to Scotland with a lot to get off his chest.

Russo, 65, appeared on ESPN’s First Take on Wednesday, July 16, where he detailed the travel nightmare he experienced while on the road with his son Tim Russo, an assistant men’s basketball coach at Northern Arizona University. 

“My son flew from Phoenix to Dallas, all the way to London,” Chris explained. “He had two bags. He had to go to Inverness, an hour-and-a-half south of Dornoch.”

While Tim’s clothes made it to Scotland, his golf clubs somehow got left behind at London’s Heathrow Airport, where his father was still trailing behind.

“I’m at Heathrow waiting for my connection,” Chris continued. “He texts me, ‘Dad, my golf clubs didn’t make it.’ We’re playing Saturday morning! This is Friday afternoon.”

Chris said it took him “two-and-a-half hours” to locate his son’s golf clubs, which had been left behind at Heathrow. 

“I put Timmy on FaceTime,” Chris recalled after locating the clubs. “[I said], ‘Timmy, will you tell the people here that the golf clubs are yours and your father who paid for them wants to take them out of the airport so I can get you your clubs the next day?’ They wouldn’t let me take the clubs out of Heathrow!”

He continued, “Timmy’s clubs had to stay in Heathrow overnight and he didn’t have his golf clubs on Saturday because British Airways couldn’t find them and wouldn’t give them to his father to take the clubs up.”

Chris was told he was not allowed to take the golf clubs out of the airport on behalf of his son due to “protocol.”

“I am not interested in protocol!” Chris yelled. “I am interested in a five iron! I am not interested in that.”

The chaotic scene escalated so far that cops were brought in.

“They called the police on me,” Chris said. “I’m a loud American! [They said], ‘We’re going to get the authorities.’ I don’t give a crap about authorities! Get the golf clubs where they’re supposed to be!”

Chris told his First Take cohosts that he “almost” got arrested.

“The cops came,” Chris explained. “I said, ‘I’ll be OK. Calm down.’”

Despite the snafu, the ESPN host and his son made it to Scotland for the golf trip, which Chris showed off with a series of photos via Instagram.

There still may be hope for Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham.

After decades of ups and downs, the former couple and Fleetwood Mac bandmates signaled that a long-awaited reunion is in the works.

Nicks, 77, and Buckingham, 75, took to their Instagram accounts on Thursday, July 17, to share lyrics from “Frozen Love,” the 1973 song they released as the rock duo Buckingham Nicks before Mick Fleetwood heard it and invited them to join his band.

“And if you go forward…” Nicks wrote, prompting Buckingham to complete the line, “I’ll meet you there.”

Naturally, fans went wild in the comments section of the posts, which were uploaded minutes apart.

“WHAT DOES THIS MEAN,” one Instagram user asked. Another joked, “60 year situationship is crazy.”

The cryptic activity comes just weeks after Nicks and Buckingham followed each other on the social media platform.

The exes also reposted a video that Fleetwood, 78, shared on his page on Wednesday, July 16, of himself listening to “Frozen Love” outdoors. The drummer simply captioned the post, “Magic then, magic now.”

Nicks’ rep had no comment. Us Weekly has also reached out to Buckingham’s rep.

Nicks and Buckingham met at their California high school in the late 1960s and started dating in 1972. They joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974, only to split two years later while recording one of the bestselling albums of all time, 1977’s Rumours. The record included breakup songs like “Go Your Own Way” and “Dreams.”

Decades later, in 2004, the Grammy-winning group reissued Rumours with an additional song, “Silver Springs,” which Nicks had written about leaving Buckingham. The track has had a resurgence of popularity in recent years thanks in large part to a viral 1997 performance in which Nicks stared down Buckingham while singing the lyric, “Time cast a spell on you / But you won’t forget me.”

Despite ending their romantic relationship, Nicks and Buckingham continued to work together on and off for years. However, in 2018, Fleetwood Mac fired Buckingham, leading him to sue his former bandmates. They settled the lawsuit later that year, but he never performed with them again.

“I dealt with Lindsey for as long as I could,” Nicks told Rolling Stone last October. “You could not say that I did not give him more than 300 million chances.”

If the pair were to team up again, it likely would be as Buckingham Nicks given the “Edge of Seventeen” singer swore off a Fleetwood Mac reunion following the 2022 death of the band’s keyboardist and vocalist Christine McVie, who was also her close friend.

“Without Christine, no can do,” Nicks told Rolling Stone in June 2024. “There is no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together in any way. Without her, it just couldn’t work.”

Fleetwood “sadly” agreed during an interview with Us in February, adding, “I always have a fantasy that [Stevie] and Lindsey would pal up a bit more and just say everything’s OK for them both. But we’ve had such an incredible career.”

No more “Stupid Cupid” and sabotaging Mia Thermopolis, Mandy Moore wants her Princess Diaries character to have more depth — if she gets asked to return for the third movie.

“I would be game,” Moore, 41, said during the Thursday, July 17, episode of the “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce” podcast, when asked if she wanted to be part of Princess Diaries 3.

The actress revealed that she “heard” there was an idea that her character, high school mean girl Lana Thomas, would “make a bit of a cameo” in the upcoming movie, but she hadn’t heard anything else in “months.”

If Lana does reunite with her former schoolmate Mia (Anne Hathaway), who is now Queen of Genovia, Moore hopes she’s left behind her mean girl ways.

She mused, “She’s sort of come around and she’s actually a good person. She peaked in high school and maybe that gave her some [humble pie].”

Host Kylie Kelce was totally on board with the idea, adding Lana working at a “nonprofit” could be brilliant. “She got humbled after high school and now she’s doing great,” Kelce, 33, teased.

“That’s what I’m hoping for if I return. Stay tuned,” Moore responded. “We’re manifesting it.”

Chrissy Metz is all for a This Is Us onscreen reunion.

“I mean, we need a revival! I would love a movie,” Metz, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly at Lifetime’s Summer Soirée on Wednesday, July 16, at the Calabra Rooftop Restaurant & Bar at Santa Monica Proper Hotel. “I think everybody would love a movie. So, we’ll see.”

She added, “I haven’t heard anything. Everybody’s pretty busy, but it would be nice.”

Metz played Kate on all six seasons of NBC’s This Is Us, a drama that chronicled the lives of the multigenerational Pearson family across multiple timelines. The show, created by Dan Fogelman, also starred Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Sterling K. Brown and Chris Sullivan.

While This Is Us wrapped in 2022, most of the cast has remained close.

Brown, 49, was recently nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series at the 2025 Emmys for his lead role on Paradise, which Fogelman, 49, created for Hulu. Paradise scored three additional nods for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for James Marsden and Julianne Nicholson, respectively.

As for Metz, she has moved on from This Is Us with a role in Lifetime’s upcoming Faith in the Flames: The Nichole Jolly Story.

“I’m so inspired by [Nichole] and just her humility through everything she’s gone through and what she did and what she was capable of, and to still have that humility,” Metz said on Wednesday. “It’s, like, bananas and just so grounding.”

She continued, “I just feel really honored to play someone who is, like, an unsung hero and to hopefully inspire other people that even if you’re not battling a terrible, unfortunate fire. We each have our own fire to walk through and to go through. So, it means a lot.”

The film is based on Jolly’s real life. She is a nurse who risked her life to save hospital patients and colleagues during the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, California.

“I shared with Nichole that I can’t imagine in a controlled environment being that scared,” Metz told Us. “Like, what do you do in a real fire, and there isn’t any hope of getting out, like, what? I’m proud of women who are resilient and who are just so courageous because I need to take a page out of their book.”

Bellamy Young is a self-proclaimed “science geek,” and her new book addresses some of her real concerns about artificial intelligence and control, while being set in a dystopian, young adult world.

The Aetherion Code: The Spark, which she cowrote with her longtime friend and The Last Ship actress, Fay Masterson, was released on July 1. The young adult novel is the first in a trilogy series that is set in 2053 and follows “a group of rebellious teens in a Martian penal colony who uncover a long-buried secret about Earth’s fate involving a new class of AI.”

“[Fay and I] are both big science geeks and have always shared information and articles on the latest breakthroughs or conundrums. A couple of years ago, we shared two articles in a row that suddenly opened a window into this story for us,” the former Scandal actress, 55, exclusively revealed in the latest issue of Us Weekly’s What I’m Obsessed With series. “I think we also each remain trepidatious as AI becomes a part of modern life, so writing about that was a way to investigate it, meditate on it and find a positive way forward — for our characters, at least, which is all we can control.”

Although her book is set on a different planet, Young candidly revealed to Us that she is quite scared of going to space.

“The idea of the explosive lift-off alone really scares me, but the endless silence of space itself and the true vulnerability of the human body under those conditions … it’s so humbling, and rightfully so,” Young said. “That being said, I am a person with a lot of fears, and I do believe growth happens when you face something that terrifies you — within reason, of course. If I had to, or if, as with the teens in our story, I was forced to, I hope I would make the surrender and meet the moment.”

Young told Us that she’s currently hooked on the book-turned-Apple TV+ series Murderbot starring Alexander Skarsgård, Noma Dumezweni, David Dastmalchian and more.

“Didn’t think it would be for me, but tuned in for research, as it’s followed a path we hope our book will. The writing is so sharp and the characters so well-drawn — I am in,” the Prodigal Son actress said. “It’s set in the future, but addressing so many of the issues we’re all trying to find footing with right now.”

Beyond TV and books, Young had much to say about Sinners, the box office hit that was released in theaters in April and now streaming on HBO Max. Starring Michael B. Jordan as the main characters, twins Smoke and Stack, Young told Us the movie “laid me flat.”

“The story, the metaphors, the artistry. And I am not a scary movie person, but I wanted to start watching it all over again the instant that juicy credit sequence ended,” Young said. “They just don’t make ‘em like this anymore.”

Young also told Us that she is also trying to work on her Portuguese to communicate better with her in-laws. In 2020, Young married musician Pedro Segundo after three years of dating.

“Susana Morais has written a series of novels that have translations and help me learn. I started with A Cidadela Misteriosa and am on to O Mistério da Janela Aberta now,” she told Us.

Robert Wagner is paying tribute to late wife Natalie Wood 44 years after her death.

Wagner, 95, took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 16, to share a throwback photo of himself and Wood, who died at 43 years old in 1981, in honor of what would have been their 53rd wedding anniversary. The snap showed a beaming Wagner, wearing a white turtleneck and black jacket, as he stood beside his wife, who flashed a radiant smile as she sported a white dress.

“Always a special place in my heart. Happy Anniversary Nat! More Than Love @ngdubdubs @courtywagz @katewags_511,” he captioned the post.

Fans shared their love for the couple in the comments section.

Wood, who was famous for her roles in films like Miracle on 34th Street and West Side Story, died under mysterious circumstances on November 29, 1981, during a weekend boat trip to Santa Catalina Island on board Wagner’s yacht, Splendour. She had been with Wagner and her Brainstorm costar Christopher Walken on the night before her death, but Wagner stated that she was not with him when he went to bed.

Wood’s body was recovered the next morning, one mile from the boat, with a dinghy found nearby. An autopsy revealed that she had bruises on her body and arms, as well as an abrasion on her cheek, but it did not indicate how she obtained the injuries. Her blood alcohol content was also found to be 0.14, and she had traces of a motion-sickness pill and a painkiller in her bloodstream.

Wood’s cause of death was initially ruled accidental drowning and hypothermia, as it was believed that she may have slipped while trying to get into the dinghy. However, in 2012, Los Angeles County Chief Coroner Lakshmanan Sathyavagiswaran amended her cause of death to “drowning and other undetermined factors,” noting that it was “not clearly established” how Wood got into the water. A 2013 addendum also noted that she may have sustained some of the bruising on her body before she fell into the water.

Police named Wagner a “person of interest” in the investigation in 2018 after witnesses claimed that the Two and a Half Men star had been arguing with Wood at the edge of the yacht prior to her drowning. Wagner denied he had any involvement in Wood’s death. He was later cleared in 2022.

“All leads in the Natalie Wood case have been exhausted, and the case remains an open, unsolved case,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Hugo Reynaga told Page Six at the time. “If additional leads surface in the future, which have not already been investigated, the case will be reassigned to a detective to investigate the new leads.”

Wagner first married Wood in December 1957, but the two later divorced in April 1962. The pair reunited in 1972 and remained married until Wood’s death. They shared one daughter, Courtney, whom they welcomed in 1974.

Wood was also a mom to daughter Natasha, 54, whom she shared with Richard Gregson. Meanwhile, Wagner is also a dad to daughter Katie, 61, whom he shared with the late Marion Marshall.

American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and husband Thomas Deluca were killed in a shooting at their California home on July 14.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly that male and female victims were found dead with possible gunshot wounds in their Encino home. Kaye and Deluca’s names weren’t released until later. They were both 70 years old at the time of the murders.

“We are devastated to hear of Robin and her dear husband, Tom’s, passing,” an American Idol spokesperson said in a statement to Us. “Robin has been a cornerstone of the Idol family since 2009 and was truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her. Robin will remain in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time.”

A press release from the LAPD confirmed on July 15 that a suspect was arrested in connection with the murders.

Kaye worked as a music supervisor on American Idol for more than a decade prior to her death. Deluca, meanwhile, was signed by Epic Records in Los Angeles in the ‘90s as a solo music artist.

Bachelor Nation’s Blake Horstmann and Love Is Blind star Giannina Gibelli exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about planning their “intimate” wedding.

“We are taking a trip in just a couple of days to go see where we’re going to get married, and it’s just going to be so magical,” Giannina, 32, revealed to Us on the red carpet of the ESPY Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 16. “We don’t know what it’s going to look like [yet].”

Blake, 36, confirmed that their “big day” will happen next summer, though it’s already been “a bit of a process” putting together preliminary details.

Giannina joked that she and Blake won’t be competing with Amazon executive chairman Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s recent wedding in Venice, where their 200 guests included the Kardashian and Jenner family, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney and dozens more A-listers.

At the time, the Netflix star admitted she was taken aback by “how much I actually enjoyed the act of giving birth” despite all of the physical and emotional exertion that comes along with it.
