Camilla and Charles were introduced by a pal when she became a debutante in London’s high society in 1965. The pair began to date in the 1970s before he had to leave for his Royal Navy service, and Camilla moved on with Andrew Parker Bowles.
In July 1973, she wed Parker Bowles. The duo welcomed two children: son Tom in 1974 and daughter Laura in 1978. Charles, for his part, moved on with Princess Diana in 1981 and welcomed sonsPrince William and Prince Harry, who were born in 1982 and 1984, respectively.
While married to their respective partners, Charles and Camilla allegedly began to rekindle their romance in secret. In December 1994, Camilla and Parker Bowles split after 21 years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in March 1995. Charles and Diana, for their part, separated in 1992 amid speculation of marital issues — and allegations of infidelity on both sides. Their divorce was finalized in 1996, one year before Diana died in a fatal car crash.
Charles and Camilla got engaged in February 2005 and tied the knot in a civil ceremony two months later. Following Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September 2022, Charles and Camilla were officially crowned as king and queen in May 2023.
Keep scrolling to look back on Camilla through the years:
Camilla announced on February 23, 2023, that her “Reading Room” book club has become a nonprofit organization, aiming to provide new opportunities for adults and children to appreciate literature.
“My Reading Room started as a list of nine of my favorite books literally scribbled on a piece of paper during the first lockdown [for the coronavirus pandemic],” the queen consort said in a speech at the launch of the new charity. “It is now a global community of over 155,000. … I’m delighted to announce that the Reading Room has become a charity working to close the gap between readers and writers and helping people of all ages and backgrounds find and connect to books."
Camilla was crowned as the Queen of England during Charles’ coronation at Westminster Abbey. “May thy servant Camilla, who wears this crown, be filled by thine abundant grace and with all princely virtues; reign in her heart,” the Archbishop recited while presenting her with her crown. “O King of love, that, being certain of thy protection, she may be crowned with thy gracious favor; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” Camilla then grinned at Charles as she adjusted the crown on her head.
Camilla filled in for Charles at public events in February 2024 after his diagnosis with an unspecified form of cancer. While Charles resumed his royal duties in March 2024 amid his cancer treatment, Camilla often shared updates on his health at her own appearances.
Camilla stunned in florals in a new portrait shared for her 78th birthday and was given a new title while celebrating the milestone.
During a trip to the HMS Astute submarine in HMNB Devonport, she was given the title of Vice Admiral of the United Kingdom — making her the first royal to take on the role.
Shane Gillis made it clear that he had nothing to do with the DeShaun Watson massage joke at the 2025 ESPYs.
While hosting the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 16, Gillis, 37, initially said he wanted to “skip that joke” about Watson, 29, before reluctantly mentioning it on stage.
“Alright, bring it back, I’ll tell that joke. I didn’t write this,” he noted. “Please keep your hands where my eyes can see — is what they say when DeShawn Watson gets a massage.”
Gillis playfully threw blame at the ESPYs writers after hearing the crowd’s response, adding, “I disagree as well. I swear to God, I didn’t want to tell it.”
Alison Brie then came on stage and referenced the Watson joke, saying, “I mean, not Shane Gillis making me walk out after that joke.”
In 2021, the former Houston Texans quarterback was accused of sexual assault by massage therapist Ashley Solis. She ultimately filed a civil lawsuit against Watson, claiming that he exposed himself and purposely touched her hand with his penis during a massage. In the days after Solis’ accusations, more than 20 other women accused him of indecent acts and filed their own civil lawsuits.
“I have not yet seen the complaint, but I know this: I Have never treated any woman with anything [other] than the utmost respect,” Watson wrote via X in 2021. “The plaintiff’s lawyer claims that this isn’t about money, but before filing suit he made a baseless six-figure settlement demand, which I quickly rejected. Unlike him, this isn’t about money for me — it’s about clearing my name, and I look forward to doing that.”
Two separate Texas grand juries declined to indict Watson — who has denied any wrongdoing — on any criminal charges after 10 women filed criminal complaints. The civil cases remained and the NFL launched a separate investigation, which resulted in an 11-game suspension and a $5 million fine from the NFL.
“I want to say that I’m truly sorry to all the women I’ve impacted in this situation,” he said in an interview with Cleveland News 5 in August 2022. “The decisions that I made in my life that put me in this position, I would definitely like to have back. But I want to continue to move forward and grow and learn and show that I am a true person of character and I want to keep pushing forward.”
Watson settled 23 of the civil lawsuits against him before being traded from the Texans to the Cleveland Browns in a deal worth $230 million. He kicked off his third season with the Browns in September 2024.
Gillis, for his part, has had his own share of controversy. He was previously hired as a featured player on Saturday Night Live in 2019 but was fired four days later after racist and homophobic comments from his “Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast” resurfaced online. At the time, the show acknowledged in a statement that they “were not aware of his prior remarks” before casting, apologizing that the “vetting process was not up to our standard.”
Gillis addressed the controversy before his exit, writing via social media, “I’m a comedian who pushes boundaries. I sometimes miss. If you go through my 10 years of comedy, most of it bad, you’re going to find a lot of bad misses. I’m happy to apologize to anyone who’s actually offended by anything I’ve said. My intention is never to hurt anyone but I am trying to be the best comedian I can be and sometimes that requires risks.”
Gillis later released a second statement noting that he respected the decision made by the show. He has since hosted SNL twice.

Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo’s Big Brother love story is full of surprises.
While some contestants on CBS’ reality show form a connection in the house, a select few find everlasting love once cameras stop rolling.
“I thought she was really cute, but I didn’t see us being together,” Victor, 34, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while looking back on season 18 of Big Brother. “Even after we got off the show, I would reach out to her and check in. And it was just, like, super friends.”
Everything changed, however, when the duo found themselves at a Big Brother premiere party together. After leaving the celebration early, the pair met up at another establishment and went from friends to something more with a kiss.
Nine years after first appearing on Big Brother, the couple — who got married in March 2021 — are now parents to 3-year-old Arrow and continue to live their best lives away from Hollywood in Michigan.
“I grew up here,” Nicole, 33, explained to Us about her home state. “We’re still in the same town where I always lived. I’m super close to my family. I love the seasons. I love the country life. I love rural life. We did buy a house with 10 acres, and we literally have a rescue farm in our backyard, and we just rescued a dog.”
Victor Arroyo and Nicole FranzelCourtesy of Victor Arroyo / Instagram
Nicole joked that friends and neighbors knew her long before she was on reality TV and “no one is ever freaking out about me being on the show in my small town.”
When The Amazing Race pair step away from the farm and parenthood duties, Nicole and Victor likely won’t make the 90-minute drive for fine dining. Instead, Walmart is 20 minutes away with a Chinese restaurant buffet close by.
As for how the pair have grown their relationship over the years, both agree that open communication is key.
“Express your feelings,” Victor advised other couples. “Say, ‘Thank you for doing that thing. I really appreciate that you did that for me’ and also the ‘I didn’t like what you did there and I want to talk about it.’ That’s important.”
Victor Arroyo and Nicole FranzelCourtesy of Nicole Franzel / Instagram
Nicole admits she and her husband are “super opposite” but they make it a priority “to take on each other’s perspectives.”
“Not every single day is so amazing,” she said. “But every day, I think our relationship gets better and stronger, and I truly think that he and I will always work out, because we both want to be together.”
After building a peaceful life in Michigan, it would be understandable if Victor and Nicole didn’t want to do reality TV again.
But when chatting with Us, the couple revealed two shows they would love to be a part of in the future.
“Survivor!” Victor shared. “My strategy would still be the same [as Big Brother]. Just try to win as many competitions as I can, but I’d like it for the experience, to try to see if I can do that, live out there and compete and stay mentally strong.”
Nicole added, “Mine would be Traitors because I like games where there’s not much physical activity. And then I think Dancing With the Stars. That’s very physical, so I guess that could be a problem, but it would be so fun.”
Big Brother airs on CBS Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
“It is with a heavy heart and extreme sadness that I inform you of the passing of my dear friend Connie Francis last night,” Roberts, who is the president of Francis’ label Concetta Records, wrote via Facebook. “I know that Connie would approve that her fans are among the first to learn of this sad news. More details will follow later.”
The statement was shared on Francis’ official Facebook profile as well.
Earlier this month, Francis confirmed she was “feeling much better” after news broke that of her hospitalization. In a separate Facebook post, Francis detailed how she was “back in hospital” and “undergoing tests and checks to determine” the cause of the “extreme pain I have been experiencing.”
Francis’ music recently had a resurgence after her 1962 song “Pretty Little Baby” became a trending sound on TikTok. She originally rose to fame in the ‘50s and early 1960s with “Who’s Sorry Now?,” “My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own,” “Where the Boys Are” and “Don’t Break the Heart That Loves You.”
The singer, who signed a recording contract in 1955, became the first woman to have a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool.”
“I had 18 bomb records,” Francis recalled during an interview with UPI in 1996. “[My dad] wanted me to record a song written in 1923. I said, ‘Forget about it — the kids on American Bandstand would laugh me right off the show.’ He said, ‘If you don’t record this song, dummy, the only way you’ll get on American Bandstand is to sit on the TV.’”
Francis’ suffered several personal tragedies through the years. In 1974, she was sexually assaulted in a Long Island motel room. Three years later, Francis’ temporarily lost her voice after she had nasal surgery. In 1981, Francis’ brother George was murdered by the mafia. Her father had her committed to multiple psychiatric hospitals, and in 1984, she attempted suicide.
“To make a short story long, in the ’80s, I was involuntarily committed to mental institutions 17 times in nine years in five different states,” she told the Village Voice in 2011. “I was misdiagnosed as bipolar, ADD, ADHD, and a few other letters the scientific community had never heard of. A few years later, I was discovered to have had post-traumatic stress disorder following a horrendous string of events in my life.”
Francis recalled trying to “see humor in everything” despite the challenges in her life, telling The Oklahoman in 2018, “But I have to say the support of the public has also been incredibly uplifting. They saw me through the best and worst of times and never stopped writing from around the world to encourage me.”
Francis was married to Dick Kanellis for five months in 1964. She exchanged vows with Izzy Marion in 1971, but the pair divorced less than a year later. Francis went on to tie the knot with Joseph Garzilli in 1973. They adopted a son, Joseph Garzilli Jr., one year later but split in 1977. Francis got married to Bob Parkinson in 1985, which only lasted a few months.
Denise Richards asked a court for protection from her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, whom she accused of physically abusing her throughout their marriage, and Us Weekly can report exclusive details.
According to court documents obtained by Us, Richards, 54, requested a restraining order against Phypers, 52, on Wednesday, July 16.
Richards told the court, “Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages.”
“Aaron regularly threatened to ‘break my jaw’ and would cry, beg me to stay, and promise to get help — none of which ever happened,” she said.
“Aaron has caused me at least three concussions. Aaron has told me that he has left recording devices to record me while I was alone in hotel rooms and at my townhouses,” she alleged. She said on July 4, “Aaron repeatedly got within two inches of my face and screamed at me degrading profanities, including calling me a ‘c*** whore’ and a ‘piece of s***.’”
Richards said, “Aaron repeatedly grabbed my left arm tightly.” She said the next day Aaron came into her townhouse with his father and “got within inches of my face and began yelling at me, calling me a ‘c*** whore’ multiple times and with his right hand violently hit the bill of my hat with the back of his hand which caused my hat to fall off my head.”

“Later that day, Aaron chased me and grabbed both of my arms forcefully and pushed me and dragged me to the ground,” she said. “I landed on the stairs, causing immense pain. Aaron stole my laptop and sent private messages he had stolen from my laptop without my permission.”
She added, “Aaron threatened that I would ‘disappear’ if I called the police.”
In her petition, Richards recalled another alleged incident on May 21. She claimed that, “while I was asleep and without my permission, Aaron went into my settings on my laptop and through my iCloud account synched my iMessages (texts) to my laptop and downloaded everything from my iCloud (included my private text messages) onto my laptop and then took pictures of my text messages (which were then on my laptop).”

She said Phypers “transferred my text messages to his laptop.” She said he woke her up screaming, “You f***ing bitch. I went into your computer and saw your text messages because your laptop were open while you were watching the movie on Netflix. I clicked sync iMessage so that your text messages would appear on your laptop and everything downloaded and I took photo of everything you lying bitch.”
“Later, while I was on the toilet peeing, Aaron smashed me on the top of my head with the palm of his hand while screaming at me, ‘Give me your f***ing phone.’”

Richards accused Phypers of repeatedly abusing her during their marriage. She said he owns eight unregistered guns. “He has told me multiple times over the course of the last two years that because the guns are unregistered that if he used them, no one would be able to track them,” she said.
During another incident on May 1, Richards claimed Phypers grabbed her by the back of her head by the hair and slammed her into the ground.
“You are not cancelling my flight, I am going with you and I do not trust you,” she claimed.
Richards pleaded that Phypers be ordered to stay 100 yards away from her and return her laptops and everything he downloaded from her phone.

In her filing, she said she moved out of the family home in 2023 due to marital issues and leased three townhouses. “I am the only person on the lease to the three townhouses. Beginning on July 4, 2025, I have repeatedly told Aaron that he is not allowed at any of my townhouses anymore, yet he has repeatedly entered the townhouses unexpectedly,” she said. Richards also attached two photos of a black eye Phypers allegedly caused her on January 17. She claimed Phypers had struck her in the eye.
The court granted Richards a temporary restraining order until a court hearing later this month.

When it comes to summer travel, packing smart is a must. Whether you’re escaping for a weekend beach getaway or squeezing everything into a carry-on, multi-use pieces are the real MVPs. Lala Kent knows this all too well. The Vanderpump Rules star swears by a single cover-up that doubles as two outfits in one — and you can snag her “go-to” for just $27 on Amazon.
“I’m a Virgo, so I pack very lightly. I like having things I can wear more than one way,” Kent tellsE! “This can be for more than one occasion.” She claimed that it’s her “go-to when it comes to packing,” and tons of Amazon shoppers agree that it’s the perfect travel staple.
With a round neckline, mini-dress length and long bell sleeves, the knit crochet piece has the versatility to work as beachwear or a laid-back dinner look layered over a tank and shorts.
And although it has a perforated design, both Kent and reviewers love the long-sleeve design that provides extra coverage. You’ll thank Us when you go for boardwalk strolls on semi-chilly evenings.
One reviewer who confirms this said it’s “perfect for early sunrise or sunsets at the beach,” noting it’s exactly the kind of piece you’ll want to throw over a swimsuit in the morning and then layer with a bralette or tank for a casual lunch.
Another added, “Oh, so versatile . . . I can use this as a swimsuit cover-up, but it totally works with a tank top and leggings as a light ‘sweater dress.’ I teach first grade so this will be a wardrobe staple.”
While some mention the knit is a little heavier (making it ideal for breezy evenings rather than scorching midday heat), others say it strikes the right balance: “The material is soft, breathable and lightweight,” wrote one shopper. “Even though it has a crochet-style design and is slightly see-through, it still offers just the right amount of coverage, especially in the back.”
If you’re looking to pare down your packing list without sacrificing style, Lala’s cover up is a no-brainer.
Lindsey Vonn expertly recovered from a risky red carpet wardrobe malfunction.
While attending the 2025 ESPY Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 16, Vonn, 40, stunned in a strapless Elisabetta Franchi gown with a thigh-high slit that gave a glimpse of her thong. She accessorized with black platform heels and a matching clutch, topping off the look with statement earrings.
Vonn gave the cameras a smoldering look, but her stylish moment was briefly thwarted by a strong gust of wind. In photos published by the Daily Mail, the alpine ski racer’s dress billowed to show a little more than a peek of her underwear. A friend rushed to help before Vonn laughed and entered the venue.
Vonn was nominated for Best Comeback Athlete alongside soccer star Mallory Swanson, gymnast Suni Lee and ice hockey captain Gabriel Landeskog. Lee, 22, ultimately took home the trophy.
Inside the theater, Vonn traded in her Grecian gown for a second sparkly look, changing into a silver beaded dress with a sheer skirt and fringe accents. She was also seen posing with Olympic icon Simone Biles, who look beautiful in blue.

Wednesday’s ceremony isn’t the first time Vonn has fallen victim to a wardrobe malfunction. The athlete previously recovered from a public mishap at the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala in 2016.
At the time, she hit the carpet in a blue Michelle Mason gown with slinky straps and a low-cut neckline, once again showing off her toned legs with the help of a long slit. As a breeze blew by, so did her skirt — but she smiled through the moment like a total pro.
Two years later, she joked about hoping to avoid another awkward incident at the 90th Academy Awards.
“I’m out of my comfort zone. Definitely here, I just — it’s a lot,” she told People at the 2018 ceremony. “The Oscars is such a big deal, I’m just trying to soak it all in and not mess it all up.”
Shortly before the big night, stylist Jeff Kim reportedly trimmed the sleeves of Vonn’s custom Christian Siriano gown. “I made it down the red carpet so far without tripping and my outfit’s in one place so I’m happy,” Vonn quipped.
While Vonn walked away from the 2025 ESPY Awards without an accolade, she’s collected four trophies from the ceremony in the past. She celebrated her nomination via Instagram days before Wednesday’s awards show.
“Can’t believe I’m nominated for another ESPY award… wow! Means a lot to me and it’s very humbling. I’m nominated for Best Comeback (only 10 years after my first comeback nomination ) which is a category filled with incredible, incredible women,” she wrote alongside throwback photos from past events. “I voted for @sunisalee as her comeback in Paris was beyond impressive!”

The good news for fans of Maggie Q‘s new crime drama Ballard is that it’s a hit out of the gate for Amazon Prime Video.
That means this Bosch spinoff is probably going to get a second season. But since Prime Video dropped all 10 episodes at once, what are you going to watch when it’s over?
Fortunately, the Watch With Us team has you covered with three shows to watch if you liked Bosch.
Amanda Seyfriedis at the center of Long Bright River as Mickey Fitzpatrick, a police officer in Philadelphia. Mickey’s been on the force a long time, but it’s not really her place to be looking into the murders of three local women in the Kensington neighborhood.
However, Mickey’s interest in the case is more than just personal. Her sister, Kacey Fitzpatrick (Ashleigh Cummings), has gone missing, and trying to solve the murders may be her way of coping with that potential loss. This is one of Seyfried’s best roles to date, and the show’s central mystery will keep you as hooked as Ballard‘s case-of-the-week plots.
Jill Hennessy made her name on Law & Order before NBC gave her a crime drama of her own. Crossing Jordan features Hennessy as Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh, a forensic pathologist who somewhat oversteps her role in order to help the police solve murder cases.
Before he became a leading actor, Mahershala Ali played one of Jordan’s colleagues, Dr. Trey Sanders, in season 1. Jordan does have her own team of confidants to turn to for support, but one of the most prominent was Detective Woody Hoyt (Jerry O’Connell). NBC aired six seasons and 117 episodes of this show during its run, and it’s ripe for a very long binge-watch.
HBO’s Mare of Easttown has an outstanding cast of supporting players, including Jean Smart, Guy Pearce, Evan Peters, Angourie Rice, Julianne Nicholson and Cailee Spaeny. But it’s carried by an Emmy-winning performance by Kate Winslet as Marianne “Mare” Sheehan, a detective sergeant in Easttown, Pennsylvania.
Mare is kind of a local celebrity thanks to her heroics in a high school basketball game 25 years ago. In the present, Mare has been unable to find a missing girl for over a year and the community has lost faith in her. Mare is also dealing with a nasty divorce, the death of her son and a custody battle for her young grandson, Drew, with the boy’s mother, Carrie Layden (Sosie Bacon). That’s enough pressure to crush anyone, but Mare still has a job to do.
Swimsuit shopping is hard — period. Many bathing suits are designed for narrow frames, making it feel nearly impossible to find something that not only fits curves, but is stylish, flattering and budget-friendly. That’s where this ‘godsend’ bikini comes in.
This cute and durable bikini is stretchy, skin-soft and breathable, keeping everything tucked in without squeezing. It cinches in all the right places, shaping your body while hiding insecurities. The top supports large busts with thick (and adjustable!) straps, a push-up V-neckline and delicate trim that subtly lifts.
The high-rise bottoms are just as swoon-worthy. They feature tummy-hiding ruching, moderate bootie coverage and a colorful waistband that slims.
The matching top and bottom trim adds a boho, expensive-looking flair. And when worn together? The suit will make any fashionista look rich and effortlessly put-together . . . even if you don’t have an hourglass figure, you’ll look like you do.
With 36 different colors and patterns to choose from, we’re tempted to grab a few to mix and match all summer long. Amazon shoppers are with Us with many grabbing the suit in at least two colors.
According to many, it’s the perfect “mom suit” that supports all the right areas. One calls it the best swimsuit they’ve “ever put on their body,” and wrote, “I have been insecure about my body for a while after having my second baby . . . I didn’t want to wear a two-piece in fear of that belly smush sticking out. This set is a godsend.”
Others agree, saying it hides “belly pouches” and gives a major boost of confidence. Another wrote, “Already eyeing it in more colors — because one just isn’t enough when you find the one.”
Get the Blooming Jelly High-Waist Bikini Set for $38 (originally $39) on Amazon! Please note prices are accurate at the date of publication but are subject to change.
Not what you’re looking for? Shop other swimsuits on Amazon and don’t forget to check out Amazon’s Daily Deals here!
This movie from director Bong Joon Ho didn’t get the critical acclaim of Parasite or Okja — it holds a 77 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes to Parasite’s 99 — and its box office numbers were mediocre at best. However, we loved this bizarre sci-fi flick about “expendable” space explorer Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson).
While trying to escape from a loan shark, Mickey and his friend Timo (Steven Yeun) join a mission to colonize a new planet led by narcissistic politician Kenneth Marshall (Mark Ruffalo). But because he has few transferable skills, Mickey is only qualified to be an “Expendable” — his job is to undergo fatal missions, only to be “reprinted” as a clone afterwards. When a mix-up leads to two versions of Mickey running around the spacecraft, each one fights for their right to survive — until they come to understand the threat their mission poses to the intelligent creatures already living on the planet. Mickey 17 is funny, smart and unexpected, with that special Bong Joon Ho flair.
You don’t have to be an X-Men fan to appreciate Logan. This action movie from A Complete Unknown director James Mangold has plenty of blood, guts and superpowers, but it feels more like a Western than a traditional comic book story. It follows Logan, formerly known as Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), in a dystopian near-future where his powers are fading and he and his former mentor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) are barely hanging on to their lives.
Logan and Charles discover a young girl, Laura (Dafne Keene of His Dark Materials), who was cloned based on Logan’s DNA. The corporation that created Laura is trying to track her down, and it’s up to Logan to help her escape to freedom. What follows is a reluctant father-daughter story about love, trauma and legacy.
At the time, Jackman intended Logan to be his last performance as Wolverine, although he ended up coming back to portray a different version of the character in Deadpool & Wolverine. Logan was a worthy, albeit tragic, farewell to the clawed, gruff hero. Meanwhile, Keen brings a fascinating ferocity to Laura with every snarl and slice of her claws, while still imbuing her with a heartbreaking vulnerability. Both performances are worth a watch.
Though it’s much more grounded than Logan or Mickey 17, Disobedience also invites viewers into a world they may not be familiar with — an Orthodox Jewish community in London. Ronit Kruschka (Rachel Weisz) returns to this community after her father’s death, despite having lived a secular life in New York for many years. She soon reconnects with her former friend Esti Kuperman (Rachel McAdams), and the two are forced to reckon with their strong emotional and romantic connection.
Disobedience is a beautiful and powerful story about defying societal expectations and the right to fight for the life you want. Weisz and McAdams are both luminous in their roles, as is Alessandro Nivola as Dovid, Esti’s husband. The film’s quiet intensity and emotional nuance make it a must-watch for fans of character-driven dramas.
If you’ve ever struggled with your face looking noticeably paler than the rest of your body, Brooke Shields has a clever fix worth trying. When filming Mother of the Bride, Shields had to look evenly bronzed at all times, so she turned to this Tan Luxe cream, which happens to be on sale right now on Amazon.
This self-tanning moisturizer is designed specifically for the face, neck and even the décolleté. It uses amino acids, lipids and antioxidants that can help restore your skin’s barrier while delivering a subtle, buildable glow. It also boosts collagen and improves moisture retention, while squalane gives your skin that plump, soothed and deeply hydrated finish.
The actress said in a video for Allure that she mixes a dab of the cream with her foundation or tinted SPF to get an even application. She ensures to get the tricky spots like under the eyes and on the ears before wiping her hands to avoid telltale tanned palms. “It’s just a weird look,” she even joked.
It’s an easy ritual that lets you customize your glow, whether you want just a hint of sun-kissed color or a deeper tan that you can build up over several nights.
One reviewer shared that typical tanning drops left her hairline “looking splotchy,” but this cream smooths in evenly and looks flawless. Another shopper said she skips makeup after using it since it provides a “very subtle, and very natural” appearance. And with no fake-tan smell or tacky residue, this is one self-tanner that actually feels like a high-end face cream.
If you’re tired of mismatched tones or streaky tanning disasters, Shields’ hydrating pick is the answer. With powerful skincare ingredients and easy-to-use formula, this cream is designed to help you look your most radiant and even-toned all season long. And since it’s on sale now, there’s no better time to make it part of your daily glow-up ritual.
Tom Hardy shouldn’t be dismissed for his contributions to Fury Road. Taking over the role of “Mad Max” Rockatansky from Mel Gibson was never going to be easy, and Hardy does a very good job in the film. But he’s also overshadowed by the incredible work that Charlize Theron does as Imperator Furiosa.
This was the movie that legitimized Theron as an action star, and it’s almost impossible to take our eyes off Furiosa when she’s on-screen. She’s simply more compelling than Max in his own movie. The reported behind-the-scenes tension between Theron and Hardy actually works in the film’s favor as well, because it really feels like Furiosa and Max hate each other even when they’re ostensibly on the same side.
The Action Scenes Are Thrilling
Miller is an old-school filmmaker, and as such, he favors practical effects over CGI. That approach went a long way towards giving Fury Road‘s epic action scenes an added sense of danger and realism. There’s still a lot of cinematic trickery used to bring these sequences to life, but they pop off the screen even when Fury Road isn’t on the biggest canvas available.
The late Hugh Keays-Byrne portrayed the film’s villain, Immortan Joe, with an over-the-top flair and intensity. Joe’s mask covered most of his lower face, so Keays-Byrne conveyed a lot of his menace through his eyes and body language. Immortan Joe may not be as memorable as Furiosa herself, but he’s a terrific bad guy in this story.
Nicholas Hoult delivers a strong performance as Nux, despite being heavily made up, and his character undergoes one of the most complete arcs in the movie as he transitions from Joe’s side to join Furiosa and Max’s cause. Riley Keough, Zoë Kravitz, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Abbey Lee and Courtney Eaton are also well-cast as Joe’s wives. These are the women that Furiosa and Max are risking their lives to protect from Joe, and it’s not surprising that Keough Kravitz and Lee have gone on to greater stardom. Eaton may be on her way up as well, thanks to her stint on Showtime’s Yellowjackets.

But if you’re missing the ladies of MomTok and their scandalous stories, we recommend checking out another show about Mormon wives — albeit a group who are very different from the MomTok crew.
And no, we don’t mean TLC’s Sister Wives — we’re talking about HBO’s acclaimed drama series Big Love. Watch With Us recommends you stream this gripping drama show in July 2025 — here’s why you should check it out on HBO Max.
It’s a Complex, Non-Judgmental Look at Polygamy
Big Love revolves around Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton), a man who was excommunicated by his extreme Fundamentalist sect (the United Effort Brotherhood, or UEB) as a teenager. In Salt Lake City, he met and married Barb (Jeanne Tripplehorn), a more modernized Mormon woman, and did not intend to follow “the principle” of plural marriage — but when it seemed that Barb would die of cancer, he married Nicki (Chloë Sevigny), one of the daughters of the UEB prophet, who helped take care of her.
Miraculously, Barb went into remission, leaving Bill with two wives. A few years later, Bill fell in love with Margene Heffman (Ginnifer Goodwin) and added her to the family as well. When the series begins, Bill, Barb, Nicki and Margene live in neighboring houses with adjoining backyards, with their many children growing up as siblings.
The backstory of Big Love’s polygamist family sets up a lot of interesting storytelling, but one of the most fascinating elements is the case of Barb and Nicki. Their marriage to Bill presents a rare case in which viewers who don’t practice or support polygamy might still understand how someone could genuinely fall in love with more than one person. Though Big Love doesn’t exactly encourage polygamy, it doesn’t condemn it either — as long as it’s carried out by consenting adults, unlike many of the abusive and coercive marriages portrayed in the UEB compound.
Today, non-monogamous relationships are more mainstream than ever, though not typically in the context of marriage and religion. If you’ve seen Big Love before, it’s worth rewatching to see the parallels the show draws between polygamy and other “nontraditional” relationship styles, such as same-sex marriage (which was still illegal in most states when the show premiered in 2006).
The Huge Cast of Characters Is Engrossing
Harry Dean Stanton in Big LoveHBO
Four adults and eight children — and that’s just Bill’s immediate family. Big Love balances their stories, as well as those of the extended families that Nicki and Bill left behind at the UEB compound, expertly. Nicki’s power-hungry father Roman (Harry Dean Stanton) and devious, closeted brother Alby (Matt Ross) overlap with stories about Bill’s aging and impoverished parents, Frank (Bruce Dern) and Lois (Grace Zabriskie), as well as Bill and Barb’s teenage kids Ben (Douglas Smith) and Sarah (Amanda Seyfried) and more
It would be dishonest to say that Big Lovenever feels crowded, but it’s a testament to the power of the performances that all the storylines are genuinely engrossing. It’s similar to Game of Thrones in the scope of its world-building, despite taking place in a much more grounded reality.
‘Big Love’ Doesn’t Shy Away From Darkness — or Light
Despite the aforementioned non-judgmental attitude toward consensual polygamy, Big Love is a sharp and well-researched look at some of the worst abuses of Fundamentalist Mormon sects. The placement of underage girls whose parents believe they are ready for marriage in a “Joy Book,” a sort of catalog of potential wives, is a major plot point for Nicki’s arc in season 3. The “Joy Book” is straight out of the headlines about Warren Jeffs, a Fundamentalist leader who was arrested in 2006. (Big Love premiered that same year.)
While Big Love’s drama is dark, it also emphasizes the genuine love and acceptance among the members of the Henrickson family, despite their many disagreements and differences. The Big Love in the show’s title is a genuine presence in the story, causing the viewer to question their assumptions about love and family.
Big Love is a complicated, messy and, appropriately, big show — and that’s what makes it great. If you’ve seen it before, it’s worth revisiting in the context of changing cultural attitudes about monogamy, and if it’s new to you, then you’re in for some truly captivating television.
Andor — the Disney+ original series that serves as a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story — did very well with 14 Emmy nominations, including Best Drama Series.
However, the only actors who received nods were Forest Whitaker and Alan Tudyk for guest star and voiceover, respectively.
That snubbed one of the best performances of 2025 from Stellan Skarsgård, as well as great turns by Genevieve O’Reilly and series star Diego Luna. Here are a few reasons why their performances deserve to be recognized and appreciated.
Stellan Skarsgård Elevated the Entire Franchise With His Performance
It would have been unrealistic to expect every actor in Andor to get an Emmy nomination. However, this series was an actor’s showcase with an incredible supporting cast, including Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Elizabeth Dulau and others.
Yet Skarsgård’s Luthen Rael towered above the rest with his intensity and moral ambiguity. Even during the first season, Luthen openly expressed that he was damned for using the Empire’s tactics against it, but he remained relentless and unapologetic to the end.
Andor season 2 didn’t give Skarsgård a monologue to match his best scene from the first season, but he stole the show every time he was on screen. Even in Luthen’s final appearance, Skarsgård had one more chance to display his character’s depth in an extended flashback that chronicled his transformation into a rebel.
Genevieve O’Reilly Revitalized an Underutilized Character
Mon Mothma has been part of the Star Wars franchise since 1983’s Return of the Jedi, but she didn’t really become a fleshed-out character until Andor‘s two-season run. O’Reilly briefly portrayed Mothma in Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One, but this was the series that gave her something real to convey, and she ran with it.
Mothma’s arc in the show is about a politician coming to terms with everything she has to sacrifice to keep the rebellion alive, including the love of her family and her own morality. O’Reilly was especially great at conveying Mothma’s quiet desperation as she made compromise after compromise. And she was also very convincing when Mothma had her big moment in season 2 when she forcefully denounced the Empire and risked her own life in the process. While the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama is a crowded category this year, O’Reilly deserved to at least be nominated for her stellar work.
Diego Luna Brought Complexity and Intensity to ‘Andor’
It may seem like faint praise to call Luna the third-best actor on his own show, but that’s simply because he was surrounded by talented costars. This show was built around his Rogue One character, and it wouldn’t have worked if Luna hadn’t been able to embody Cassian Andor’s transition from a simple thief into a revolutionary who was willing to lay down his life to end the Empire.
Luna may not have gotten the incredible monologues of Skarsgård’s Luthen or the quieter dramatic moments that O’Reilly’s Mothma endured, but he carried the show with his singular focus. But when Cassian’s emotions came to the surface, Luna delivered one of the best performances of his career. It wasn’t enough to be recognized as one of the Best Actors in a Drama, but Cassian Andor’s legend in the Star Wars universe will live on far beyond the Emmy Awards.
Davidson’s girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, revealed via Instagram on Wednesday, July 16, that she and the comedian are expecting a baby together. Hours after the announcement, MGK — who recently welcomed daughter Saga Blade with ex Megan Fox — surfaced in the comment section of Hewitt’s post.
“These playdates bout to hittttt,” the rapper, 35, wrote.
MGK’s friendship with Davidson, 31, goes back years. They first met on the set of Wildin’ Out in 2017 but formed a closer bond while working on the movie The Dirt two years later.
“I don’t have any siblings, you know, so when you have someone like Pete, like, that’s like my little brother,” MGK said during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in 2020. “He’s like my best friend but also like a little brother, so, like, you have the opportunity to live that dynamic of, like, having a sibling. So, obviously, to me, that’s like the dream. Pete’s like that for me.”
He and Davidson have supported one another amid life’s ups and downs. In October 2024, MGK joined Davidson at an event in Los Angeles where the Saturday Night Live alum made his first appearance since seeking treatment for his mental health. Last summer, Davidson canceled a series of stand-up shows after entering a program at a wellness facility.
Us Weekly confirmed his romance with Hewitt, 29, in March after they were spotted out and about together. Two months later, the couple made their red-carpet debut at the Blossom Ball in New York City.
“He is so incredible,” Hewitt told People during the May event, calling Davidson the “best person I’ve ever met.”
“[I’m] definitely a family guy,” he told Kevin Hart during Peacock’s Hart to Heart. “My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, I wanna have a kid. That’s like my dream. It’s like, super corny, [but] it would be so fun. Dress up the little dude. It’s just like, I’m so excited for that chapter.”
As for MGK, he reflected on fatherhood during a June outing with the eldest of his two daughters, Casie Baker, whom he brought to the 2025 Kid’s Choice Awards. (He shares Casie, 15, with ex Emma Cannon. He and Fox, 39, welcomed baby Saga in March.)
“It opened up the side of myself that I needed to stay alive to this point. Without her, it’s an easy decline, you know?” he told ABC7 of parenting Casie, who said of Saga, “I think she’s just a good addition to the family. Now we have two girls in the family, I have another sibling, it’s cute.”
Lady Gaga launched her 2025 tour on Wednesday, July 16, with a high-energy, theatrical concert featuring songs from her latest album, Mayhem, in addition to many of her greatest hits.
The pop star, 39, kicked off opening night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with 2011’s “Bloody Mary” and ran through songs including 2008’s “Poker Face,” 2018’s “Shallow” and 2009’s “Bad Romance” before ending her two-hour-and-15-minute show with 2025’s “How Bad Do U Want Me.” (See the full 27-track setlist below.)
This is Gaga’s first tour since 2022’s Chromatica Ball, which grossed $112.4 million in just 20 nights and had its own 2024 HBO special filmed at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
The Mayhem Ball is scheduled to stop in U.S. cities such as San Francisco, New York, Miami and Chicago, among others, before heading to Europe, Australia and Asia.

Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta) has been heavily promoting Mayhem since its March release. She headlined Coachella in April and performed for a record-breaking 2.1 million people in Brazil the following month.
The critically acclaimed album includes the hit singles “Disease,” “Abracadabra” and “Die With a Smile” (with Bruno Mars) as well as fan favorites “Vanish Into You” and “Killah.”
“I wasn’t planning to tour this year … but the incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going,” the singer wrote via Instagram earlier this year, explaining that she booked arenas this time around to have “the opportunity to control the details of the show in a way you simply can’t in stadiums.”
“His collaboration [on] the project … adds a personal touch that continues to cement this album as that of a very human artist and not a product of the music industry,” a second insider explained at the time.

The Grammy and Oscar winner met Polansky at a charity event in 2019, and they got engaged last year.
The venture capitalist, 41, told Elle in January that the couple’s relationship is “probably a lot like everyone else’s,” only they “have to figure out how to do some of it in public.” He explained that they try to “find normalcy” in their day-to-day lives by maintaining “strong friendships and close family relationships” and hosting loved ones at their home in Malibu, California.
Perry, 40, seemingly addressed the breakup while fulfilling her fans’ request to perform “Not Like the Movies” during her concert in Inglewood, California, on Tuesday, July 15.
“You’re gonna make me sing this song in this time in my life?” the pop star asked the crowd, per People. “OK, we’ll do it! Because you voted for it.”
Perry continued, “I let you choose the song tonight because I like to pick an album for every country that I go to and for the U.S.A., I picked Teenage Dream because U.S.A., you could be a teenage dream baby. You better get it together. I’ll always have that feeling for you.”
Introducing “Not Like the Movies,” she explained, “This next song I wrote in my 20s … after my first divorce.”
Perry then quipped that she’d “try and hold my composure while I sing it a week before my period.”
Last month, Us Weekly broke the news that Perry and Bloom had called off their engagement after nearly a decade together.
“Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
Perry was married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012. After parting ways, she and Bloom, 48, are focused on raising their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy.
“They are still very much in touch and coparenting Daisy together,” a second insider told Us. “Orlando brought Daisy to meet Katy on tour before heading to [Jeff and Lauren Sánchez Bezos’] wedding. It’s not messy between them. They aren’t making drastic changes for Daisy’s sake.”
Earlier in July, Bloom took to Instagram and shared a photo of him alongside Perry, Daisy and his 14-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex Miranda Kerr.
Us understands that Perry and Bloom mutually separated at the beginning of the year.
The Lord of the Rings actor and the “Firework” singer were first linked in 2016 but broke up less than one year later. They got back together in 2018 and Bloom proposed the following year.
“We weren’t really in it from day one,” Perry said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in September 2024 about their initial split. “He was, in a way, because he had just done a time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was just like, ‘I can’t do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond.’”
She is currently in Europe for her Up All Night Tour, which kicked off earlier this month and winds down in Kazakhstan on August 10.
Lopez has been married four times, with each union ending in divorce. In February, she and Ben Affleckfinalized their split five months after Lopez filed paperwork to end their marriage.
The exes’ relationship had spanned more than 20 years. They first sparked a romance on the set of Gigli in 2001 and got engaged the following year. They were scheduled to walk down the aisle in September 2023, but called off their wedding several days ahead of the ceremony.
Lopez and Affleck rekindled the flame in May 2021 and tied the knot in July 2022.
By the spring of 2024, speculation swirled about their marital status. The pair had not been seen together for nearly two months. Us Weekly confirmed that May that Affleck moved out of their Beverly Hills home.
A source exclusively told Us in June 2024 that they couldn’t “get on the same page [and had] been discussing divorce as an option.”
The following month, another source told Us, “They are going through so much individually and as a couple. They may take some time to see if this complicated moment can resolve itself and they come back to each other [as] better people.”
Last August, Lopez submitted her divorce filing herself, without using an attorney. As celebrity divorce lawyer attorney Chris Melcher told Us at the time, her solo move was “intentional to send a message that this will not be a fight.”
She was previously married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003 and Marc Anthony — with whom she shares twins Max and Emme — from 2004 to 2014. (Affleck, for his part, was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, and they coparent their three children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.)
Earlier this month, Lopez invited 30 of her Los Angeles-based fans to a listening party where she debuted six new songs, including the pop ballad “Wreckage of You,” which she is currently performing on tour.
Edgardo Luis Rivera, who attended the event, told Us that Lopez “said she was lying in bed after a long day of tour rehearsals when the idea of [“Wreckage of You”] came to her. She mentioned how last year was a very difficult time for her both personally and professionally. She had to cancel her tour and really focus on herself. Fast-forward to one year later, and she feels better and stronger than ever, so she wanted to write a song about coming out of a bad situation much stronger.”
