According to Jenna Bush Hager, it may be a while until the fourth hour of Today picks a permanent replacement for former cohost Hoda Kotb.
“We’re kind of stoked just living in the Jenna & Friends era,” Bush Hager, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly at Kotb’s Joy 101 launch event in New York City on Wednesday, May 28. “We booked — I can’t tell you who — but we have amazing people next week, amazing, and amazing people the week after. And then, we have our summer booked, so we aren’t quite there yet.”
Bush Hager has continued to cohost the NBC morning show’s fourth hour, Today With Jenna & Friends, with a rotating lineup of celebrity guest hosts since Kotb, 60, exited the series on January 10. E! News cohost Justin Sylvester has become a fan favorite replacement, having hosted the show for several dates in February and April.
Sylvester returned to the show for a third time since Kotb’s departure on Monday, May 26. He will wrap up his four-day-long hosting gig on Friday, May 30. (Kotb returned to cohost with Bush Hager on Wednesday’s Jenna & Friends.)
Though Bush Hager remained tight-lipped on whether Sylvester, 38, may officially sit alongside her, she gushed about her current cohost and pal while chatting with Us. “I love Justin,” she shared. “We’re going to Beyoncé together. Cowboy Carter, let’s go!”
The duo was joined at Wednesday night’s concert by Bush Hager’s cousin Wendy Stapleton — who previously cohosted Jenna & Friends back in March — pal Jamie Alexander Tisch and Jenna & Friends executive producer Talia Parkinson-Jones.

Before the group rocked out to Queen B, Bush Hager got emotional on Wednesday reuniting onscreen with Kotb for the first time since her Today exit. Kotb made her triumphant return to 30 Rockefeller Plaza to launch her new wellness brand, Joy 101.
“I was expecting to cry and I was a little bit like, ‘Don’t cry, don’t cry.’ But what can I do? It’s the energy,” Bush Hager said of sharing the desk again with Kotb. “She inspires me. I’m so proud of her, and I feel like that was part of the tears. They were happy tears.”
Despite the sweet reunion, Bush Hager told Us she’s happy to see Kotb living her dream post-Today. “We’re actually really proud of what we built over the last five months. And I miss her and I’m cheering for her in a million different ways, all the ways I can,” she said. “It felt so good to have her back, and also, I’m so proud of what she’s building. When somebody says bye, they say bye for a reason. I should have known that with my college boyfriend.”

On Wednesday’s episode of Jenna & Friends, Kotb credited Bush Hager with inspiring her to launch her wellness journey after suggesting she take a breathwork class. “I did one session with this woman and I exploded in tears and I was transformed,” she explained. “And from that moment on, you and I have been on the exact same path. … And breathwork led to meditation and deep prayer. All the things that we love were all in one spot.”
Bush Hager went on to share kind words about her former TV partner, stating, “The fact that you are Professor Kotb of Joy 101 makes perfect sense. I think you’re doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing, even though it feels like [hosting] is also what you’re supposed to be doing.”
“It was interesting. I wouldn’t say it was all sunshine and rainbows,” Graziadei, 30, said on the Thursday, May 29, episode of NFL alum Isaac Rochell’s “I’ll Ask” YouTube show. “It was also really fun, too, [and] learning so much. You’re like, ‘Wow, I still really need to get to know that person.’”
Graziadei met Anderson, 26, on season 28 of The Bachelor, which aired in early 2024. They got engaged in November 2023 but had to keep their relationship a secret until the show aired the following spring.
“We always say we dated in reverse,” Graziadei quipped. “We knew everything about each other on a deep level [and] we knew that we had similar life goals. We felt like there was something here that was worth striving toward, but I didn’t even know how she was as a roommate.”
He added, “We didn’t even live [together]. Like, do they know what they’re doing in the kitchen? How do they clean up in the bathroom? So, we were figuring out so many small things about each other and still trying to put effort and time into that.”
After the show, Graziadei moved in with Anderson to her rented apartment in Louisiana.
“Kels came from New Orleans, where she was living with two other roommates and she had her own life and was working in construction project management,” Graziadei recalled. “She went straight back to work [and] was working full-time, and I’m sitting at home, like, passing the time, having to go around and do press in New York and L.A. There’s a lot of little things that people don’t realize that I have to promote this season [and] no one even knows who Kelsey Anderson is yet — even though this is the person that all I want to do is be spending time with.”
According to the former tennis pro, he felt guilty for “living this life of the Bachelor” while Anderson was still “waiting for her opportunity” in the spotlight.
“I just ignored everything and just really focused on what was most important to me, which was focusing on Kelsey,” he stressed.
“We were just new kids in love, just having fun and trying to figure out how we were going to start this life together,” he added. “It was exciting.”
The pair are hardly the first Bachelor couple to feel the same way. Season 12 Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and now-husband Jordan Rodgers were candid with Us back in 2021 about the learning curve of life after the ABC show.
“There were so many reasons why we thought we should not be together,” Fletcher admitted. “I think, subconsciously for me, and for him, there was this pressure, not only from people that watch the show but, like, our family and our friends.”
Other recent Bachelor Nation couples, including Bachelorette season 20 couple Charity Lawson and fiancé Dotun Olubeko, have decided to take their time getting married.
“We’ve taken a pause on [wedding planning],” Lawson, 29, told Us in 2024. “For me, I got in this space where I just felt this constant pressure of, like, I need to check off something every month or every week. And it got to the point where I’m like, ‘I don’t wanna do that right now.’ I’m also still just easing into life and normalcy again. Obviously, we’re still getting married. We’re taking a moment, taking a beat.”
“I can definitely relate to some of this story as I’ve spent eight months in prison for tax evasion. I also got two years of probation, 500 hours of community service and I completed everything including restitution,” Sorrentino, 42, told TMZ on Thursday, May 29. “For them to get released early, for me, that is good for the families.”
Sorrentino said he’s glad Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, are now “reunited with their loved ones,” adding, “I am not sure that anyone who hasn’t been in these shoes can really relate. I can definitely see there might be a little bit of outrage. But for me — someone who actually did prison time — I am not mad at it.”
In September 2019, Sorrentino was charged for failing to pay nearly $9 million in taxes. He completed an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion. Todd and Julie, meanwhile, were indicted in 2019 on charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy. After being found guilty in 2022, Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison. His wife received a seven-year sentence. The couple maintained their innocence and continued to appeal their sentences, which were reduced in September 2023 by nearly two years.
Todd and Julie were released on Wednesday, May 28, after President Donald Trump pardoned the former reality TV stars.

“My parents have not spoken to each other, heard each other’s voices or seen each other in the past two and a half years,” Savannah Chrisley told reporters outside the Pensacola, Florida, prison where Todd had been incarcerated since 2022. “Their 29th wedding anniversary was May 25, so we’re only a few days out from that. So when they reunite, we’re going to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, Christmases, all the things, because we’re going to make up for lost time.”
While some fans have questioned the decision to release Todd and Julie before they served their full sentences, Sorrentino noted that he “would have accepted” a pardon if he was offered one at the time.
“But I wouldn’t go back and get a pardon because it made me a better man,” he added. “[Still], you gotta stay in your own lane and run your own race. When you get sent away to prison, it is not a good situation for yourself but the families. They get sent away as well to a certain extent and it is so very sad.”
He concluded: “I can see that aspect because I have had my freedom taken away from me. It was very detrimental to my family.”
Todd and Julie were able to reunite on Thursday, with Savannah sharing a glimpse of her parents together via her Instagram Story. A press conference is set to take place in Nashville Friday, May 30, to address the couple’s release.
Swifties are the most like Us — their jaws would also drop spotting Taylor Swift IRL.
One of the Grammy winner’s fans is going viral for their reaction to seeing Swift, 35, while grabbing a meal in New York City on Thursday, May 29. “That face when you’re having dinner & Taylor Swift shows up!! HAHA,” read the caption of an X clip shared by a Swift fan account on Friday, May 30.
In the video, a pair of people sat at an outdoor table as the “Fortnight” singer swiftly walked past them and into the restaurant. The person behind the camera captured the moment the other’s mouth dropped after realizing the superstar was just inches behind them.
“The girl’s reaction represents the entire fandom right now,” the Swift fan account wrote alongside the X clip. Another fan wrote, “She just spoke what the entire fandom feels without a word!”
Swift has been keeping a low-profile since wrapping her record-breaking Eras Tour in December 2024. She stepped out to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at Super Bowl LIX in February, and the two have continued to enjoy a handful of public date nights over the past few months. (Kelce, 35, was not seen in the video of Swift’s latest NYC outing.)
The couple, who began dating in 2023, followed up a Park City, Utah, visit with back-to-back NYC date nights in March. “They went to Park City to go skiing,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly that same month, while another added, “They’ve been traveling, spending precious time together and letting the rest of the world go for a bit.”
The pair traveled to Philadelphia for another date night earlier this month. “TAYVIS HOW I HAVE MISSED YOU,” a fan captioned pics of the duo arriving at a restaurant via X.

As Kelce continues to prepare for the upcoming NFL season in a rented $20 million Florida mansion, Swift recently traveled to West Palm Beach to spend more quality time with her boyfriend. The couple rocked floral and leaf-printed looks while grabbing dinner at Harry’s restaurant on May 23, per photos obtained by TMZ.
Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, gave the date her stamp of approval by “liking” a fan account’s Instagram photo of Swift and Kelce enjoying their Florida dinner.
TMZ later reported that the couple dropped $400 on their meal, ordering dishes such as cacio e pepe pasta, an endive salad, lobster risotto, Dover sole, a dry-aged burger, garlic broccolini and potato puree and wagyu filet mignon.
As for beverages, Swift reportedly ordered a Melena cocktail consisting of vodka, vanilla and passionfruit, while Travis sipped on a Purple Rain made of green tea, gin, citrus and crème de Violette.
Swift’s most recent outing comes after she skipped out on attending the 2025 American Music Awards on Monday, May 26. Though she was up for a total of six awards, Swift walked away from this year’s awards ceremony empty-handed, along with fellow nominees Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter and Shaboozey.
Nikki Garcia and Artem Chigvintsev started dating following her broken engagement to ex John Cena — but their romance ended in September 2024.
Nearly seven months after Garcia, who once wrestled under the name Nikki Bella, and Cena split for good in July 2018, Us Weekly confirmed that she and the Dancing With the Stars pro are dating, and had been seeing each other for “a while.” The pair first met when they were partnered up on season 25 of the reality TV dance competition in 2017.
Garcia confirmed her romance with Chigvintsev during an episode of Total Bellas in March 2019, and quickly went Instagram official with the dancer the following day.
The twosome got engaged in November 2019, setting a wedding date nearly three years later. The former wrestler and Chigvintsev welcomed their first child together — a son named Matteo in July 2020 — before tying the knot in August 2022.
Multiple sources confirmed to Us that the duo were giving love a shot — and had already been together for a bit of time. The news came nine months after Garcia and Cena called off their engagement after six years together, though they briefly reconciled, and split for good in July 2018.
Garcia and Chigvintsev’s newfound romance was first featured on a January 2019 episode of Total Bellas, where the two enjoyed a lunch date together. “The last time I saw Artem, I was in a relationship for so long, so I’m just really excited to see him today,” the WWE alum said in a clip from the show. “You look good,” she told him. “A lot’s happened since I’ve seen you last, which has been a long time.”
The California native finally confirmed their romance during the Total Bellas season finale, and later posted a sweet picture of the pair locking lips on Instagram.
Garcia revealed that the two weren’t monogamous just yet. “Yeah, we’re dating. … There’s been a lot of speculation about us … but I’m still dating [other people],” she said on an episode of “The Bellas Podcast” with her sister, Brie Bella. “We’re having fun. He’s showing me L.A.”
Chigvintsev went all out for a date night with his love — even whipping up some delicious recipes in the kitchen, which the duo documented on Instagram. While the DWTS pro showed off his skills, his leading lady sat nearby and sipped wine.
The duo enjoyed a family-friendly date in Disneyland with Nikki's sister Brie Garcia, her brother-in-law, Daniel Bryan, and her 2-year-old niece, Birdie Joe. The WWE star flooded Instagram with pics of the pair enjoying rides such as It's a Small World and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
Nikki and Chigvintsev made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2019 Kids’ Choice Sports Awards, with the dancer giving the Total Bellas star a kiss on the forehead.
Chigvintsev and Nikki announced in July 2019 that they are officially “boyfriend and girlfriend” after going more than six months without labels. “We’re in a relationship!” he gushed on “The Bellas Podcast.”
In an appearance on “The Lady Gang” podcast in October 2019, Nikki spoke candidly about sex with Chigvintsev. “The vagina smiles every time,” she said.
Nikki gushed about her man to Us at the Girl Up #GirlHero Awards in October 2019. “He lets me be me,” she said. “The attention of what he gives me with my soul, with my personal life, my business life. Like, I have never met anyone who’s so supportive and I have no fear that he’s ever going to leave me for my imperfections, which is so amazing.”
Nikki revealed that she was “really nervous” to meet Chigvintsev’s parents. “It was the first time Artem saw his parents in five years and his brother. He was so nervous and excited and emotional,” she explained on “The Bellas Podcast.” “They all got really emotional when they saw each other. They cried.” The pair later revealed to Us that the Burn the Floor star taught the TV personality Russian to prepare for the meetup.
The couple announced their engagement two months after the happy moment occurred. “I said yes in France in November!” Nikki wrote via Instagram. “We have been trying to keep it a secret but really wanted to share our excitement for the New Year!” Chigvintsev, for his part, gushed: “You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. So excited for what’s to come I love you more then [sic] anything and thank you for saying Yes.”
Us confirmed on January 29 that the couple are expecting their first child together. “Say hi to our very strong warrior baby,” Nikki tweeted at the time. “Mama has felt it!”
Chigvintsev celebrated his romance with Nikki on Valentine’s Day, writing: “Happy Valentine my love ❤️ I’m so excited what’s a head of us , you are one of a kind and I wouldn’t change a bit, I love you just the way you are 🦄 .”
Nikki, for her part, declared her love for her soon-to-be husband as well. “Our relationship isn’t perfect, no ones is, but it’s ours, and I love it! Love doing life with you, even when it gets hard,” she captioned an Instagram post, which featured footage from their trip to Germany. “Thank you for putting up with me lol. I know we are on the right path God has planned for us. Love you my A! ❤️
Nikki told Us exclusively on the “Watch With Us” podcast that she’s unsure if she’ll take Chigvintsev’s last name when they wed. “I can’t even say my soon-to-be last name,” she previously said. “I always tell him, like, ‘Can you just be Bella? It’s easier!’ I feel like in this day and age, like, come on. The future is female. I kind of like just mine, but we’ll see. He’s very traditional, which I love.”
On the “Big Demi Energy” podcast, Nikki said that she and Chigvintsev have postponed their wedding due to their child’s arrival and the COVID-19 crisis. “I want to make sure the world is in such a clear space,” she shared. “The day I get married, I just want a massive party. I want a bash. I want everything I’ve dreamed of.”
Nikki honored Chigvintsev on his 38th birthday with a sweet Instagram tribute. “Happy Birthday My Click!!” she wrote. “@theartemc I love you so much! You are such a bright light in my life. Thank you God for him! Excited for many more birthdays, journeys, travels, and experiences together … and with our baby boy.”
During their joint interview with Mini Magazine, Nikki revealed how the pair are gearing up for parenthood. “Artem just got me a Gucci diaper bag and I’m obsessed,” she explained. “I’m definitely going to try and keep my fashion up to par as a mama and this is a good place to start.”
She also shared that they “went with a moon and stars theme” for their baby’s nursery, adding: “I wanted something very soothing and meditated and also day-dreamy. I just want my boy to get lost in the stars. We have a lot of gray and blues throughout the nursery and dark wood. It’s super handsome!”
Nikki confirmed in August 2020 that the couple welcomed their first child together on July 31, 2020. “Our baby boy is here and we couldn’t be HAPPIER and more in LOVE!” she wrote via Instagram, sharing a photo the pair’s hands entangled with their son’s. “Everyone is safe and healthy.”
The Dancing With the Stars pro wished his fiancée a happy 37th birthday on November 21, sharing a pic of the couple on Instagram and writing, "I want to wish the happiest birthday to my beautiful and definitely better other half you are my rock , you have been absolutely incredible as a mom to Matteo and I am so lucky to have you. I want to wish you lots of success, love and happiness and everything you wish for your self. I love you and miss you and can’t wait to see you to celebrate."
Nikki cuddled with Chigvintsev following his Dancing With the Stars win. “Mi casa,” she captioned the social media upload, which translates to, “My home."
Nikki and Chigvintsev revealed their wedding date during the season 6 finale of Total Bellas. “We are going to be getting married the weekend of Thanksgiving 2021!” the bride-to-be announced.
Nikki exclusively told Us that going to couples therapy has been "tremendously" helpful for her relationship.
“We don't even have to keep going because it's — I mean, it's good to always have checkups — but all of a sudden, our sessions turned into, like, you just sit there,” she said at the time. “You're like, ‘Oh, I'm really loving right now. Like, there's no problems.’ It's like we didn't know what to talk about.”
"Happy First Mother’s Day to you my love, it’s crazy to think how fast time flies Teo is nine month old and you’ve been the best mom we both can ask for so attending, loving, caring and determined to be best you can be," Chigvintsev wrote via Instagram alongside photos of Nikki and their son in May 2021. "We love you so so much, may this be the happiest day for you and to many more to come ❤️👼❤️"
The former professional wrestler and her fiancé started to consider planning their fall wedding again after kicking off a home renovation project.
"We're building our home right now ... It started, so we're, like, 'It's nice when that process starts because now that planning has come to an end,' and everything you've created now will be starting to come to life," Nikki shared with Us in June 2021. "So we're actually starting to think about wedding planning and it makes it even more fun because I also want a really big bash for all my friends and family because we haven't been around each other for a long time."
With Chigvintsev' schedule on DWTS, the twosome managed to settle on a "heavenly" date for their special day.
"What we would love to do is the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend because the finals are always the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving and then we thought, 'Oh, Thanksgiving is such a beautiful family time and it's so gorgeous in Napa Valley,'" the Total Bellas star revealed about their nuptial plans so far. "That's where we would want to get married, is in wine country and so for us, it's all so perfect."
The "Bellas Podcast" cohost told Us that she was open to having a second child — but didn't want to rush. "I told Artem ... 'When I'm 39, if we feel so great in life and comfortable and you really want to try and have a little girl or just another one, and I feel that it's right as well, we can do that.' ... I want this time with just my son. I just don't want to have another baby interfere with that right now."
Nikki and her fiancé experienced a "rocky" patch while living apart and working on different projects, she said on her podcast. "[We] had to get back into therapy. You know, distance is really hard. ... Now we're stronger than ever," she explained at the time.
The former reality star revealed that there was one crucial reason why the duo weren't ready to have a wedding ceremony yet."The one promise I made [Artem] before we can plan, is that his parents can attend, and with where the world's at right now and trying to get two Russian parents into the country, it's almost impossible," Nikki said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "So, the day I can get two visas, is the day we will set our date and say, 'I do.'"
Nikki noted that for now they plan to get married by November 2022.
"I think last year I said Thanksgiving, right? And I want to say next Thanksgiving," she added about their upcoming wedding. "I can't believe it's been a year, but I really do want to get married. I mean, selfishly, I just want to have that, like, one big day about me, I can't wait for that and to wear that dress, but I do want to marry Artem."
Nikki gave fans an update on her and Chigvintsev’s wedding plans during an episode of E! News’ Daily Pop, admitting her role as a parent has made her a little more hesitant about setting a date. “Once I had Matteo and I started to raise him, I was like, when I say ‘I do,’ I want to make sure it’s forever,” she said. “I know there are things that Artem wants too — like he really wants his parents there — but also, overall, I don’t want my son to go through a divorce.”
The former wrestler added: “Already what we have going on in our house right now is amazing. It’s pretty much like a married life.” Nikki explained that she “really wanted to be with someone who was going to be an amazing father, and Artem is that,” which caused some people to think she just wanted to be a mom and had no real goal of walking down the aisle.
The Total Divas alum clarified her Daily Pop remarks during a special episode of her “The Bellas” podcast, telling listeners and her sister that she will say “I do” at some point, but right now the couple’s son and his future are the priority. “I will be getting married, and I can’t wait,” Nikki said on the podcast. “I do me, for me. So that means I’ll marry Artem when I want, for me and [Matteo] and him for my life.”
She later explained that the COVID-19 pandemic and the expense of a ceremony has played a part in their wedding postponement. “There are things that Artem and I don’t talk about, like, financially we have so much more going on in our lives that to think, for Artem and I for the past two years, thinking of putting our money into a wedding — it’s probably the main reason we’ve hesitated,” she confessed. “For me, when I do have my wedding, I want it to be a dream. I don’t want to do something little because it’s all that you can afford right now. We never wanted to say that.”
Nikki revealed that she and her fiancé have settled on a wedding date over two years after they got engaged. “I’ll give a hint that it’s fall 2022, very soon," she told Us at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, adding that the ceremony may be televised.
Unfortunately, Chigvintsev's parents likely won't be able to make the trip from their native Russia because of the country's ongoing war with Ukraine. "With what's going on right now in the world, I think it's pretty much equivalent to impossible," he explained to Us at the DIRECTV Space at Neon Carnival. "I think it's gonna be [a] Zoom type of a situation, or some kind of a FaceTime deal, but unfortunately not in person, which makes me very sad."
During an episode of "The Bellas Podcast," Nikki explained the couple's decision not to rush into having a second child.
"We got in a big, detailed conversation about it. Because I was like, 'You know, I do have baby fever, but I don't know. Is right now, right? Maybe do you want to try for a girl?' And actually, Artem was like, 'We need to wait,'" she said at the time. "[Artem] prefers to wait a few years."
According to Nikki, the wait revolves around wanting their son to get a little older.
"How our life is right now with work, with Mateo and his age and the attention we give him — [Artem]'s like, 'Wait until he is 4.' And I was like, 'I'm good with that,'" she recalled. "But then it was weird how the tables kinda turned where I was like, 'I mean, I am good with that.' He [also] has Dancing With the Stars coming up soon. He made a comment, 'I don't want to leave and be dancing in Los Angeles and you're home pregnant with Matteo and trying to do everything.'"
“We said I DO,” Nikki announced via Instagram, sharing photos from the couple’s Paris nuptials. She also revealed that fans can see the “entire journey” during a four-part special event series from E! called Nikki Bella Says I Do.
Shortly after his nuptials, Chigvintsev offered a glimpse at his life as a married man. "Because we've been together for quite some time, I [felt] like, 'Hey, getting married is not gonna change much,'" he told Us. "Just because ... our days are still the same. [But] it actually does [change everything]."
The dancer added: "It just gives you more of [a feeling of being] filled with responsibilities. ... [I] definitely think through a lot more than I used to, but it feels good. It feels good to be married."
The WWE ambassador voiced her support for his husband after he and his season 31 Dancing With the Stars partner, Heidi D'Amelio, were eliminated from the competition. "Arrrteeemm, THE GOAT, no one is like him from choreography to coaching to dancing to creating to all of it. He gets requested by many every year and you see why. He makes magic happen and brings out the absolute best in every partner," Nikki wrote via Instagram.
The WWE Hall of Famer told Us that she and Chigvintsev are "very good with our sex life." Bella added, “I feel like [it’s] because we both try, but in a way where it doesn’t feel forced. … I still get butterflies when we kiss and it's crazy.”
Nikki cleared up rumors about whether she and Chigvintsev were legally married following their August 2022 wedding. “We’re legally married in France and in the United States,” she exclusively told Us. “I think because we have our [marriage records] confidential … people went and searched and they didn’t find it. This is official. On paper, on TV and in real life!”
The WWE Hall of Famer also explained why she felt comfortable wearing a wedding dress she purchased while she was engaged to Cena. “I had the moment with that dress … when I saw it,” she recalled. “For me, it [reflects] how I stand as a strong woman. I was like wait, 'Why should I not wear what I love? Because of my past?' It just didn’t make sense to me.”
Nikki and Chigvintsev celebrated their second wedding anniversary via social media.
“I’ll never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem. Having a conversation with He & God. How my feelings felt too soon. It all felt too fast,” she wrote via Instagram alongside a video from their wedding day. “And then this song [‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’] came on. And that’s when I knew that I was falling in love with him and that it was all meant to be. 🙏🏼✨.”
Chigvintsev, for his part, shared a series of shots from their nuptials, writing, “Happy anniversary my love, can’t see my life without you. You are my everything ❤️.”
Two days after their anniversary, the dancer was arrested in Napa for domestic battery. Nikki previously shared she was in Napa as well but it is unclear if she was involved in the incident.
Us confirmed on September 11 that Nikki filed for divorce after two years of marriage in Napa County. Prior to the filing, Us reported that Nikki and Chigvintsev were not living under the same room. Nikki was also spotted without her wedding ring earlier in the month.
Garcia and Chigvintsev settled their divorce, with the former wrestler agreeing to pay her ex $3,500 per month in child support and an additional lump sum of $200,000.
“Divorce has to deal with the paper, the contract you signed during marriage. The day of marriage, at the court before marriage, whatever,” Garcia said on her and twin sister Brie’s podcast that same month. “So, our settlement is what everyone saw. Yes, I had to give him $200,000. Spousal support, alimony.”
She continued, “Our judge — we did private mediation — said at the end of it, ‘This is the first time in all the years I’ve done this, where a woman had to pay a man.’ The judge said, ‘You should be so damn proud that you built such an empire that someone wants a piece of it.’ It was nice to hear that … even though it hurts because I broke my neck for that money. All that is my hard-earned money.”
Us later confirmed that Chigvintsev purchased a $915,000 home.
“Never, for one moment since I arrived here, did I regret my choice. People have been so welcoming, so accepting, and they have a different view of celebrity in the culture here,” O’Donnell, 63, told Variety in an interview published on Thursday, May 29. “They are not prioritized over other people. People are much more friendly and intimate with each other in a real way.”
She added, “Every time I go into the pharmacy, I fall in love, because the pharmacist talks to you. Have you ever spoken to a pharmacist at CVS? I call my friends every time, going, ‘I think the pharmacist has a crush on me.’”
While O’Donnell didn’t clarify whether she was actually romantically involved with the locals, she did praise their open nature.
“It’s a beautiful way of life,” the And Just Like That guest star gushed. “The smallness of this nation fits me very well.”
O’Donnell recently relocated to the Emerald Isle with her 12-year-old child, Clay, who has autism.
“We chose Ireland and didn’t really know where to go,” O’Donnell exclusively told Us Weekly in April. “Someone said Dalkey, and I found a house online that was in Glengarry. But when the people who were helping us move in went there, there was mold in it. [We] could not move there, especially with an autistic child who has some allergy issues. And so, we ended up in Howth [at an Airbnb].”
“There’s a great, great school there. And Clay has done very well. And they were really welcoming,” she gushed to Us. “And I love the little town, the little village. It’s in the heart of Dublin, but it’s still a village where you know the name of the grocer and you know the name of the cashiers. People are unbearably kind in a way that shocks me every single day.”
O’Donnell further stressed that the move was what she “needed to do for the safety and sanity” of herself and her non-binary child.
Despite the big move, O’Donnell has made sure to stay connected to her friends and adult children who still live in the United States.
“I call [and] I FaceTime my kids,” O’Donnell told Us. “I have two best friends, Junie and Jackie, since I [was] 3 years old. They’re really like sisters. And I talk to them all the time. I have two brothers I’m very close to. I talk to them all the time.”
“It’s early days,” the Real Housewives of New York City alum exclusively told Us of new beau Robert Flood ahead of her opening Melissa Odabash’s 25th anniversary show at Miami Swim Week. “He’s a very, very nice human. Clearly, an adult. Well-educated. Well-mannered. Does very well for himself. Good father. He’s a man.”
Bensimon, 57 — who said that Flood’s “authentic” photo is what initially caught her eye — met the Greenwich-based financier on Hinge.
“I’ve been on Raya for a long time,” she told Us. “I think that one of the things that’s really important when you’re going on a dating app is to really present your own self… I was like, ‘Oh, my God,’ I found this one picture of [Flood] sitting there, white jeans on, these shoes, blue shirt on, and I was like, ‘He looks like a guy I went to college with.’”
The real estate mogul was previously married to Giles Bensimon from 1997 to 2007. In June 2024, Kelly called off her engagement to Scott Litner just four days before their wedding.
Kelly Bensimon’s new man is the one in the middle.
Kelly told Us that her participation in the iHeartRadio podcast “I Do, Part 2,” along with therapy and weight lifting, helped her rebuild her confidence and decide to put herself back in the dating pool.
“I’m kind of reverting back to my 20s and dating,” Kelly said. “Like, when I was in my 20s just having fun and enjoying myself and meeting a lot of people.”
She continued: “I’m just trying to be open and just have fun.”
But what makes this time around different for Kelly? Taking it one day at a time.
“I definitely feel like it’s much better this time because I am slowly easing into it,” she told Us. “ I feel really healthy and I feel really good about the decisions that I’m making in my life and who knows what’s going to happen in my future, but I’m just grateful for how I’m treating every day.”
While she hasn’t yet introduced Flood to daughters Sea, 27, and Teddy, 24, she said, “when they’re ready to meet him, they will definitely let me know.”

Being in the public eye definitely presents unique challenges, but Kelly isn’t worried.
“Do not ask your significant other if they cared about being in the public eye,” the model told Us. “And if you’re asking them that question, they’re not someone that you should be with.”
Kelly proves age is just in a number when it comes to more than just dating: the reality star is opening Melissa Odabash’s celebration of 25 years of her swimwear brand at Miami Swim Week on Friday, May 30.
“This is a huge honor to be walking in Swim Week. I thought, ‘I keep retiring from modeling and I keep coming back,’” Kelly told Us. “I’m like, ‘I am old, by the way.’ Why am I always coming back? But I really, really appreciate it.”
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ Dakota Mortensen is clearing the air about whether he’s expecting a baby with someone else after his split from Taylor Frankie Paul.
Dakota, 32, addressed the speculation via TikTok on Thursday, May 29, with a video captioned, “No babies on the way.”
“I am not having a kid with anybody. I haven’t slept with anyone since I have dated Taylor until now,” Dakota explained. “If anybody wants to try to prove that wrong, by all means be my guest.”
“I just wanted to clear the air because there’s a few girls out here that said they are even pregnant with my child,” he added. “Lots of crazy stuff but anyways, no baby coming!”
Earlier that day, a TikTok personality joked in the comments section of a video that Dakota is the father of her baby. The response gained traction when Taylor, 30, poked fun at the news.
Disney
“A girl claiming to be having his baby as I’m putting myself in timeout for actually being his bm [baby mama],” Taylor captioned a post before clarifying in the comments, “I think it’s a joke, I sure hope so.”
While Dakota is not expanding his family, he and Taylor are continuing to navigate coparenting post-split. When Secret Lives of Mormon Wives debuted in September 2024, the pair — who share 12-month-old son Ever — were in a good place.
By the end of the first episode, however, Taylor was arrested for aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief after a heated fight. Taylor pleaded guilty six months later to aggravated assault, while the other four charges were dismissed with prejudice. She reached a plea deal in March 2023.
“I feel like I might’ve vented to my mom and been a little harsh — and he’s very sensitive — so I feel like it could be a lot harder for him,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in September 20224. “Also it could be triggering, too, to bring up these conversations. Especially, I think I’ve heard the [season] cliffhanger, so that in itself stirs up some stuff. We are doing good today, we’re going through work, so I really hope that not too much comes out.”
Taylor told Us she wasn’t in a rush to get engaged to Dakota, adding, “I just want to take my time with this time around, this is my second marriage. It is going to be very important to me, and I don’t want to end up in another situation of being divorced.”
She continued: “So, I really just want everything to be really solid and have a foundation of trust. And so I feel like that takes time. I would love for that to be the end goal. But right now, I think building it up to that is where I’m at.”
Ahead of the season 2 premiere, Dakota and Taylor called it quits and got back together multiple times. They are currently not dating. (Along with Ever, Taylor shares daughter Indy, 7, and son Ocean, 4, with ex-husband Tate Paul.)
“We’ve obviously come a long way to navigate [coparenting],” Taylor shared with Us in a May cover story. “It’s different from my first husband because there’s obviously a friendship there. We adjusted. Whereas [with] Dakota, everything’s fresh. It’s something that we necessarily didn’t want to do but needed to separate.”
Taylor made it clear that she’s not in a romantic relationship with Dakota but noted that things between them have “gotten better” recently.
“So it’s an adjustment and we’ve had to learn through the obstacles of this experience to do what’s best for our son,” she added. “Of course when things are heightened, you’re breaking up and it’s not something you wanted and you just had a baby. It was not the prettiest experience, but currently we’ve come a long way.”
A spokesperson for Ant Anstead has clarified the recent speculation that he and his girlfriend, Renée Zellweger, are living separately.
“Sadly, the recent reports are disrespectful and misleading,” Anstead’s rep told People in a statement on Thursday, May 29, referring to the claims that the British TV host, 46, had been residing with a woman named Julia French while Zellweger, 56, was out of town.
The rep further noted that Anstead had “stayed just a handful of days in Julia French’s separate, and detached, guest house” in California.
“They have been long-time friends with similarly aged children within a circle of local Laguna Beach friends,” the statement added, noting that Anstead and Zellweger “remain in a cherished relationship” despite working across countries. (Zellweger is currently filming Only Murders in the Building in New York City, while Anstead is working in the U.K.)
Anstead and the Oscar winner have not further addressed the rumors, with his rep asking for privacy on behalf of the couple.

Zellweger started dating Anstead in 2021 after meeting him on the set of Discovery+’s Celebrity IOU: Joyride.
“Renée gets along really well with Ant’s children and they spend a lot of quality time together,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in July 2023. “Despite being in the public eye, Renée and Ant love just hanging out at home with the kids, watching movies and making dinner together. They enjoy a very low-key lifestyle.”

Anstead shares daughter Amelie, 21, and son Archie, 18, with first wife Louise Storey, as well as son Hudson, 5, with second wife Christina Haack. The Christina on the Coast star, 41, has even met Zellweger, calling her “great” in a recent Us cover story.
“It’s not like Heather [Rae El Moussa] and I, where we spend a lot of time together,” Haack told Us in January, referring to her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa’s spouse.“It’s mostly just on the soccer field or at drop-off, but she’s super nice. She loves Hudson, and Hudson loves her. And she and Ant are happy.”
Haack, who shares two older children with 43-year-old Tarek, and Anstead faced a messy custody battle over son Hudson following their 2021 divorce. After reaching a settlement to share custody, Haack and Anstead have remained committed to coparenting.
“Rain is a normal footy day growing up in the UK! Rain never stopped play and Parents did what they could to stay dry,” Anstead wrote via Instagram last month, sharing a photo of him and Haack sharing a makeshift umbrella on the sidelines. “Hudzo crushed it in the match! Go the NINJAS!!!!”

During the finale, which premiered earlier this month, Zac (Michael Cimino) and Harris (Josh Macqueen) had their race, but it led to Harris’ car flipping over several times. Zac’s relationship with Alicia (Mia Healey) was also unclear after he helped Logan (Ryan Phillippe), Ray (Drake Rodger) and the others burglarize her home.
Caitlyn (Melissa Collazo) and Curtis (Uriah Shelton) addressed their feelings, but something from the past might prevent them from moving forward together. But all of that clouded in comparison to the teases that Christian Maddox may have been alive and well this entire time.
“Season 2 is going to be a complete dynamic shift. It’s going to flip the whole narrative on its head,” Cimino, 25, hinted during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. “Now Zac is technically the head honcho in town. There’s going to be a dynamic shift regardless of what happens with Zac and how he approaches it. Whether he internalizes it or if he actually is dealing with it is the big question mark.”
Motorheads “follows a group of outsiders in a once-thriving Rust Belt town as they form an unlikely friendship over a mutual love of automobiles.” Before the show premiered, the cast spoke to Us about the possibility of Christian still being alive — and who should play him.
“I would love it if it was Hayden Christensen,” Shelton, 28, shared while Cimino pitched Ethan Hawke. Macqueen, 23, suggested James Spader to Us, while Rodger, 26, circled back to his The Winchesters costar Jensen Ackles.
“I would love Jensen. He would be fun. I feel like Jensen and Ryan could play siblings,” Rodger added. “I just don’t know if Jensen could play Ryan’s younger sibling but [we can pretend].”
By the end of the season, Motorheadsalso left the option open for a prequel. While speaking to Us, executive producers John A. Norris and Jason Seagraves showed support for expanding the universe.
“We absolutely want to do a Motorheads prequel. I already know what I would call it. We want Motorheads prequel,” Norris teased while Seagraves added, “We want Motorheads: Germany. We want Motorheads everything.”
Keep scrolling for a breakdown of how the first season of Motorheads ended:
Zac
Prime Video
The season 1 finale called Zac’s future with Alicia into question since he betrayed her trust by helping Logan, Ray and the others rob her dad. He also finally got that race he wanted with Harris, but it didn’t end the way either of them planned.
Earlier in the episode, Zac was walking the street they would be racing on and noticed a crack that he remembered to avoid. Harris didn’t get the memo though and that crack caused his car to flip over multiple times before crashing — and catching on fire.
Caitlyn
Sabrina Lantos/Prime Video
After fighting her feelings for Curtis all season, Caitlyn finally told him how she felt. Their romance was short-lived though because Curtis told Caitlyn his dad was in the car the day of the robbery, which called their future together into question.
Curtis
Prime Video
The first season showed Curtis thinking his feelings for Caitlyn were unrequited. By the time they got on the same page, Curtis found out about his dad helping Caitlyn’s dad commit the robbery that caused Christian’s apparent death. Their last scene showed Curtis and Caitlyn unsure about whether they could move on from the revelation.
The final scene with Marcel hinted that he would be spending the summer in New York with Brooke as roommates.
Harris
Prime Video
After a season-long feud with Zac, Harris appeared to squash some of that before racing with him. They were able to get to a place of respect, which was moments before Harris ended up in a potentially fatal car crash.
Ray
Prime Video
Curtis’ brother played a big part in the burglary at Alicia’s house where the group took several of her dad’s luxury cars.
Alicia
Prime Video
By the end of the season, Alicia ended her relationship with Harris. Her chemistry with Zac could have fizzled out as well after Alicia realized that he used the info about the garage code that she gave him as a way to help Ray and the others rob her dad.
Logan
Keri Anderson/Prime Video
The eldest Maddox brother’s past caught up with him and in the finale he took part in the robbery with Ray and the rest of his crew. His brother Christian’s whereabouts were also a big part of the finale, but it remained to be seen whether Logan knew that his sibling could be in hiding.
Christian
Prime Video
So is the legendary Christian Maddox actually alive? Unclear. The entire first season showed flashbacks of Christian’s evading the cops after that robbery. His car ended up at the bottom of the lake, but Logan revealed he saw Christian come out of the water. The Maddox brothers were planning to hide the money Christian stole — but he did that with his then-girlfriend Samantha (Nathalie Kelley) instead.
Logan and Samantha found out that the money has been taken from its secret hiding spot since Christian buried it. There was also a postcard from a location Christian loved that all added up to him being alive.
Garbage is the rare rock band that’s managed to maintain its original lineup for all 30-plus years of its existence, but according to frontwoman Shirley Manson, there’s a very specific reason for that.
“We keep things fresh and have a healthy marriage because we don’t speak to each other,” Manson, 58, exclusively told Us Weekly with a laugh. “The levels of dysfunction are quite astounding at this point. But it seems to work, so why break it?”
For their eighth album, Let All That We Imagine Be the Light, Manson, 58, worked alone on lyrics to go with music sent to her by her bandmates, Butch Vig, Steve Marker and Duke Erikson.
“When I was younger, I tried really hard to facilitate communication between band members, and then I just became exhausted by it,” she explained. “I know it sounds really freaky, but as I said, it seems to work. And the fact that we have never gone out of our way to hurt each other, we’ve not ever said anything cruel or disrespectful and we’ve always tried to be kind to one another — I think that’s maybe one of the reasons why it has lasted as long as it has. We’re not in each other’s lives at all. We’re not in each other’s pockets. It’s a very peculiar dynamic.”
Joseph Cultice
Despite the unusual working arrangement, the new album is a fresh take on the group’s classic sound — raucous guitars with a pop melody — that Manson is super proud of. One person told her that the new songs sound like they could have come from a debut album, which she took as the highest compliment.
“It felt like a surprise gift every time they sent me a piece of music. I had no idea what was coming, and I was really taken aback by how cinematic the music sounded to me,” she said. “I was expecting something entirely different, and as a result of these sort of cinematic pieces that they sent me, I was inspired in a different way. And after 30 years of being together, to have a different way of writing and creating was wonderful. I think that’s one of the reasons why the record sounds so fresh.”
She’s as surprised as anyone that Garbage is still going so strong, especially in an era when artists come and go as fast as you can hit skip on the streaming platform of your choice. The band will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album later this year, but they’re no legacy act — the focus of their new tour will be Let All That We Imagine Be the Light.
Joseph Cultice
“My biggest fear is that we sound stale, because I think that’s a death,” Manson told Us. “If you’re writing the same thing 30 years on as you did when you were in your late twenties, that’s the death of the artist. The whole point, the privilege, of being an artist is you get to explore constantly with no repercussions. You get to explore and push at the boundaries of your talent and hopefully grow as an artist, as a talent. … So that’s glorious. I’m 58 — what a glorious gift that is to know that you’re growing as a musician, learning, and that’s all you can hope for.”
Manson has become more aware of her own mortality in recent years, and that influenced a lot of her lyric writing for the new LP. She’s had two major surgeries, including a hip replacement, since Garbage’s last album came out in 2021.
Courtesy of BMG
“I had to learn how to walk again,” Manson said. “I lost my dog. Several friends of mine have had extreme health crises. I’ve lost people that I’ve loved so much. … These are all things that play into the way that I think about my life now, and I don’t look too far ahead. I think about the immediate, immediate future. Like, what’s in my hand today? What do I have to enjoy right now and be grateful for? That’s how I approach every tour now.”
For example, she and the band recently finished up a stint in Mexico, a place Manson has been many times, but she wouldn’t let herself slip into thinking that it was the same old routine.
“I’m thinking, ‘Will I be lucky enough to get back to Mexico?’ Probably, but I’m not taking it for granted,” she explained. “So I’m gonna enjoy every single second of drinking tequila in Tequila in Mexico, or enjoying tacos in Guadalajara and meeting friends and playing for one of the most incredible audiences in the world. That’s just how I apply my thinking now. I think it’s healthier that way, and it actually infuses my life with joy, not sadness. It forces me to really, really appreciate where I’m at in the now.”
1000-Lb. Roomies star Jaz breaks down about going to the beach — and being judged for her body — during Us Weekly’s first look at the new TLC series.
“The beach is right there. We’re here,” Nesha, Jaz’s longtime friend and roommate, says in Us’ exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, June 3, premiere.
After the friends arrive at Venice Beach in California for a day of fun, Jaz admits she’s “not going” and refuses to get out of the car. “I’m not walking or going over there,” Jaz explains through tears. “I don’t belong. I don’t feel right. I feel embarrassed.”
Nesha tries to talk Jaz into leaving the vehicle, reminding her they try not to care about how others perceive them. Jaz, however, won’t budge, confessing, “I don’t feel like getting looked at. I don’t feel like getting stared at. I don’t feel like people taking pictures of me, laughing at me. I don’t feel like doing any of that.”
Courtesy of TLC
Jaz bursts into tears, telling her roomie, “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” In one final attempt to boost her spirits, Nesha suggests that maybe they try “just sitting on the sand or sitting on the beach,” but Jaz shuts her down.
“Can we please stop? Can we stop? It’s not always [OK asking], like, ‘What can we do? What can we do?’ Sometimes we can’t,” Jaz says. “I can’t do it. I’m not going to do it. I’m not doing it.”
Jaz’s breakdown is an example of the realness fans can expect from the new show, which premieres next month. The series follows Jaz and Nesha, who between them weigh 1,000 pounds, as they live together and try to get their weight loss journey on track.
In the official trailer for the show, Jaz and Nesha play up their fun banter, calling each other “a little extra” and women who “love each other like sisters.”
Despite being playful with each other, Nesha and Jaz have hit a wall with their weight loss plan and decide to make a big change during the season, according to TLC. “We’ve tried so many things to lose weight, but now it’s time to get busy,” Jaz says in the trailer, noting that her daughter is one of the driving forces for her to lose weight.
Jaz reveals that she started doing weight-loss shots to prepare for surgery after a doctor said she would “not survive for long” without drastic measures. While Jaz is ready to put in the work, Nesha is more resistant to watching the scale.
At the end of the trailer, Jaz says she’s experiencing pains in her legs and is hospitalized. “Nesha, I’m scared. What if I’m never going to be able to walk again,” Jaz tells her roommate during a FaceTime call, before being whisked into an operating room.
A distraught Nesha later tells the cameras, “I don’t know what happened to her, but I know it’s a wakeup call.”
1000-Lb. Roomies premieres on TLC Tuesday, June 3, at 10 p.m. ET.

Fresh off her blink-and-you-missed-it return in The Handmaid’s Tale series finale, Alexis Bledeljoined her former costars at a panel discussing how the show ended.
“When she arrived in Canada and was reunited with her family, she was still processing so much emotion,” Bledel, 43, said during a post-finale talkback held on Wednesday, May 28. “Her trauma was very fresh [and] she had been through so much in Gilead.”
She continued, “When she settles, I think she still has a lot of underlying rage and unprocessed emotions to work through, but she gets drawn back to Gilead instead of finding a way to work through it in Canada. I think she wants to go back and finish what [she] started.”
The Gilmore Girls alum played Emily/Ofglen on the first four seasons of The Handmaid’s Tale, based on Margaret Atwood’s bestselling novel of the same name. The actress left the show ahead of season 5, when Emily escaped the dystopian regime and reunited with her wife and son up north in Canada. She later made a brief appearance in the finale, meeting up with June/Offred (Elisabeth Moss) after Boston was freed from Gileadian control.
“I love the opportunity to offer a satisfying conclusion to our audience to Emily’s story line,” Bledel added during the cast panel. “It was such a beautifully written role from the pilot and, you know, to the fact that the finale brings us full circle and has June and Emily walking together in freedom felt so meaningful and seemed to inform so much about each of their journeys.”
While Bledel was eager to return to The Handmaid’s Tale to wrap up her character’s story, she did note walking back on set “felt very different.”
“I almost expected to have the bonnet on again and have to peek around it,” she joked, referring to her costume headpiece. “But, no, it’s a totally different feeling. It’s amazing.”

Bledel’s return was also particularly exciting to her castmates.
“When I heard the idea that Emily could be back in the finale, I said, ‘OK, the problem is now that you’ve told me, we have to do it,’” Moss, 42, said during the panel discussion on Wednesday. “It was so perfect, and it felt like it’s an essential piece of the show, not just June’s journey. My first … official day [of filming] was with Alexis, and she’s why June became who she is. She was the first Mayday resistance fighter [who June] met and was her inspiration.”
Evangeline Lilly is showing the extent of her facial injuries after fainting and hitting a boulder at the beach.
“I fainted at the beach. And fell face-first into a boulder,” the Lost actress, 45, wrote in a Substack blog on Friday, May 30, alongside photos of her injuries.
Lilly went on to reveal how she has experienced similar fainting spells in the past.
“At the hospital, the nurses and doctor went straight into action, more determined to find the cause of my blackout than to stitch up the hole punctured into my face by the rock,” she wrote. “I smiled wryly at them. ‘You won’t find anything,’ I said with a woozy voice.”
“I have had ‘absent’ and fainting spells since I was a little girl. The doctors checked me for epilepsy when I was young and then settled on the idea of hypoglycemia (without doing any testing),” Lilly wrote. “For a good chunk of my life, I went with that – hypoglycemia. It added up — my metabolism is through the roof and I metabolize sugars, particularly, with [shocking] efficiency.”
However, the Ant-Man and the Wasp star said that medical testing as an adult appeared to rule out hypoglycemia. As such, the cause of her “blackouts” remains a mystery.
Samir Hussein/WireImage
Lilly wrote that she believes that her fainting spells might have something to do with her emotional well-being. “I have come to believe that this ‘checking out’ is a result of my little soul reaching her limit of what she feels she can cope with in this life, and she ‘leaves the building,’ so to speak,” she explained.
“It is my conclusion, after enough of these episodes and enough medical testing to rule out different factors, that my soul longs to return,” Lilly continued. “That when she has had enough, when the pain becomes too great, the stresses beyond overwhelming, the shattered idealism crushing, my soul exits my body and returns to pure spirit.”
After these events, the actress said she often feels “love, light and peace” when she regains consciousness. “It might seem crazy looking at my face and my busted tooth, but I feel so grateful that I blacked out. I needed the reset,” she said.
Last year, Lilly revealed that she was stepping away from Hollywood, though she said she might return to acting one day.
“I am so filled with joy and contentment today as I live out my vision,” the Marvel star shared via Instagram. “Praise God, I feel so grateful for my blessings. Stepping away from what seems like the obvious choice (wealth and fame) can feel scary at times, but stepping into your dharma replaces the fear with fulfillment.”
She added, “I might return to Hollywood one day, but, for now, this is where I belong. A new season has arrived, and I AM READY…and I AM HAPPY. .”
Kameron Marlowe is happily engaged, but singing about heartbreak is his “brand” and he’s totally cool with that.
“I tend to write love songs. I don’t tend to like to listen to love songs, to be completely honest,” Marlowe, 26, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting his upcoming single “Seventeen,” which drops on Friday, May 30.
The country singer teased, that because he is engaged to Meagan Bennington, he’s “sure there’s gonna be love songs that come out.” Marlowe noted those types of songs are “easy [ones] to write” because of his real-life romance.
“Meagan is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me in my life. I’m very thankful for her,” he gushed, confessing, “I think I’m probably still gonna write some sad songs. I mean, [they] might be just coming from other people’s perspective.”

Marlowe, who competed on season 15 of The Voice, has released three studio albums to date. His most recent record, Sad Songs for the Soul, came out in February and cemented him as a heartbreak king with songs like “Hello Whiskey” and “Here Lies the Fool.”
When asked whether sad songs were his “brand,” Marlowe told Us, “It definitely has [been].”
Despite being in a healthy relationship — he got engaged in April 2023 — Marlowe said he is happy singing about darker moments while in concert.

“I feel like people that are coming to my shows and people that listen to my music have kind of leaned on those songs and I feel like it’s helping them through tough times. And I’ve always wanted to do that with my music,” he shared. “If there’s something that someone can lean on and feel like they can kind of claim for themselves, then more power to them, that’s what I hope I’m able to do for them.”
Marlowe’s upcoming single “Seventeen,” however, is a bit of a departure from the melancholy tunes he’s been cranking out as of late. The song is upbeat and will transport listeners to their teenage years, driving with the windows down during a carefree summer.
“‘Seventeen’ was one of those songs that I kind of needed to write because it’s been 10 years since I’ve been 17 this year, which is wild to think about,” Marlowe explained to Us. “I just remember how fun life was and how much I almost took it for granted when I was at that age.”
He recalled writing the track and thinking, “‘Man, wouldn’t it be cool to just go back in time a little bit and just not have the responsibilities that I have now?’ But I think it’s just a fun song that everybody can connect to.”

The musician sings “for every bad decision, there’s a good memory” in the new track, which he told Us were lyrics partly inspired by his own choices to sneak out as a teen and consistently get caught.
“I always feel like I had the best times when I was sneaking out,” Marlowe said with a laugh. “Even if I got caught and was grounded for like a month, it was, it was worth it every time.”
Marlowe further teased that “Seventeen” is a “new chapter” for him musically, revealing that his music will “always” evolve.
“Hopefully the project that I’m working on now has some more fun, uplifting and not as sad stuff,” he said, admitting he doesn’t plan to fully pivot from his heartbreak bread and butter. “I mean, I’m always gonna write sad songs. That’s just who I am and the songs that I tend to write are sad,” Marlowe confirmed.

He added, “I’m kind of all over the place musically. I have so many different musical influences and things that I hold dear to my heart. So I’m always gonna try and write in different ways and put out music that doesn’t sound the same.”
When Tracy Chapman took to the stage at the 2024 Grammys, to duet with Luke Combs on his huge, award-winning country rendition of her trademark 1988 song “Fast Car”, the world was beyond delighted to see her. Catching a glimpse of Chapman, 37 years on from her self-titled first album, an album widely considered by music critics and fans alike to be a “perfect debut”, is always a treat.
Since Chapman, now 61, burst onto the music scene in her early twenties, she’s sold around 44 million albums worldwide and won multiple awards, including four Grammys. But that commercial success doesn’t tell the full story: her influence, power and legacy, as a Black woman singer-songwriter, incredible storyteller and feminist voice, are huge.
These days, Chapman doesn’t venture out of her San Francisco bubble very often — but when she does, she makes it count. As a singer-songwriter whose songs often make political statements, people sometimes expect her to be kind of grumpy and serious. Private, yes. Grumpy, no. Throughout her performance with Combs, Chapman had a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face, clearly as overjoyed to be there as the star-studded audience were to watch her (At one point, Taylor Swift was filmed singing along.) And Combs, who covered the song after growing up as a huge fan of the artist, clearly couldn’t believe he’d pulled this off.
As comedian W. Kamau Bell put it in a Substack essay about Chapman: “This was her moment and more importantly her song. He actually looked a little nervous. He even looked like he was cherishing the moment. Like he knew Tracy Chapman doesn’t leave her house for bulls–t, so he’d better make this worth her while.”
This is the power Chapman holds over millions of fans around the world. She isn’t retired, but she picks and chooses when she wants to work. Last month, in April 2025, she re-issued that classic debut on vinyl, much to the excitement of her passionate, loyal fanbase — especially as she left the comforts of her San Francisco home to give a number of interviews to promote it.
“I’m still on a break,” she told the German press. “I have no plans to go on tour, and I have no plans to go into the studio. Who knows what might happen, but right now, there are no plans.”

Her words to Billboard the same month gave a little more hope to anyone hoping to catch the star live — or at least hear some new music from her (her last album, One Bright Future, was released in 2008.) “If I were to tour, I would tour for something new, new material, and in that process, I would, of course, play these songs, too,” she said. “But that would be the thing that would be most interesting to me at this point. And that’s always the case. Whenever someone asks, ‘What’s your favorite song?’ It’s always the one I’m writing at the time. I said it before, but maybe no one believed it, that I’m always playing and I’m always writing songs. I’ve been doing it since I was 8 years old. It’s just part of my DNA. It’s part of who I am.”
Chapman’s hiatus is her longest yet — but she puts it down to working so hard when she first started out; she was just 24 when her debut dropped. “I had success with the first record, and I had to keep making records,” she told Time in 2000, in an interview unearthed by her devoted fansite, Tracy Chapman Online. “I felt like my life was on this cycle that was beyond my control. Making records and touring, making records and touring, and in that process not being at home and not being settled. They weren’t particularly happy times.”
Chapman was so young when she was catapulted to fame that it was all pretty overwhelming, but she also has some incredible memories of that special time, including a live TV performance to millions of viewers around the world at a Nelson Mandela birthday concert in London in 1988. “I was a complete beginner and had only ever sung in front of small audiences in cafés,” she told Spiegel in 2017. “Suddenly I was standing in front of this huge backdrop for an earth-shattering event. I tried not to let the stage fright show: Breathe in, breathe out. Backstage I met Chrissie Hynde, who was also performing. Like me, she’s from Ohio, which made me feel connected and took away some of my fear.”
After the show, her album shifted 20 million copies worldwide, outselling well-established artists like Michael Jackson and Pink Floyd. “My record company had expected sales of around 200,000 and nobody expected such a huge success, least of all me,” she recalled.

Chapman loved that her music got so much recognition, but she didn’t love the attention. By the 1990s, she felt a little disillusioned with it all. She still released music every few years, but her live performances were few and far between. “I admit that I don’t enjoy touring as much anymore,” she told Spiegel. “I probably did it too extensively before.”
As a solo artist with an intensity to her lyrics and performances, Chapman realized quickly that she needed to carve out time away from work to refuel. “It’s hard to create a good balance between work life and, you know, home life,” she said in a Belgian TV interview in 2003. “But you know I do what I can. And of course when you’re touring, it’s very heavily balanced on work… I don’t like to travel. I’m not going to sit here and complain about it. It’s really hard. But it’s great to have the chance to play music for people all over the world so it balances out.”
While Chapman grew up in Ohio, when she found fame she made San Francisco her home — and it was a decision she made with her wellbeing in mind. “I chose San Francisco because I didn’t feel like being in New York or Los Angeles,” she told the Italian press in 2015, per Tracy Chapman Online. “It’s a city that looks like me, quiet without being provincial. I put quality of life before work. One thing is true though, after so many years I wanted to get it over with touring. Life on the road, which many people find exhilarating, was beyond wearisome for me. I wanted to stop in one place and stay there, take a break, which then became long, and even longer. Not that the years of frenetic activity were a nightmare but living in a normal place as a normal person is essential to my balance.”
Actually, Chapman’s everyday existence sounds pretty blissful, and far from dull. Although her personal life has always remained very private — author Alice Walker said the two women were in a happy relationship in the 1990s, but Chapman has never spoken about it — over the years she has revealed a few details about her life away from music. “I lead a quiet life, enjoy cooking and have a small garden where I grow strawberries, tomatoes and green beans,” she told The Sunday Times in 2015. “I read all the time, I read all kinds of things. I read a lot of non-fiction actually. I had some goals in mind, being in one place and one of my goals was to become a regular at a restaurant to the point where they knew what I wanted to order before I even said anything. And I feel that I’ve been successful in that.”

Perhaps contrary to her serious, political image, she’s not a loner by any means — she’s out all the time and, on the rare occasions she’s photographed, she always has a huge grin on her face. “I’m often at the beach or hiking,” she told Spiegel. “I’m out in nature and also enjoy being around people. I don’t want to have to barricade myself at home, I want to take part in life, because that’s the only way I can find new themes and inspiration for my songs. And one thing is also clear: I’m definitely still too young to retire.”
Chapman is also an animal lover, telling The Financial Times in 2016 that her childhood ambition was to be a veterinarian “and have the world’s largest animal hospital.” She hasn’t yet achieved that, but she does say that walking her dogs on the beach is her happy place. “I love dogs,” she said. “They are loyal, brave and trusting.”
Her words to the Telegraph in 2015 also summed up her midlife priorities. “You need to keep something for yourself,” she said. “As a writer, I feel that even more strongly. I feel like I need to be able to freely observe the world. That’s the way I like to move through the world; I don’t need to be the focus of attention. If I am, it impairs my ability to write and to do what I do.”
One thing that doesn’t steal Chapman’s attention? Technology. Despite pressure from her record company, she doesn’t use social media and, in 2015, she still didn’t have a smartphone. “I can’t entirely escape it [social media],” she told Associated Press. “In some ways you end up being a part of it because you’re in somebody’s selfie or something like that. I just feel like there’s already so much to do, just in going through life and keeping things in order and functioning, that I don’t really need to add one more thing…. It seems like it requires a lot of energy.”
Staying off social media is, of course, another thing that adds to the irresistible mystique she’s inadvertently cultivated, something author Zadie Smith said was a reason she found Chapman so alluring. Writing for The Guardian in March 2025, Smith summed up the star’s unique appeal. “For years, the only photograph I’d ever seen of her was the one on the front of that first album,” she wrote. “Yet despite knowing next to nothing about her, I and millions of others have been listening to her for decades. When you write songs like Tracy Chapman does, you don’t really need to do anything else but that. Her debut is the articulation of this principle: 11 perfect songs, with no fat and no filler, driven by a clear unity of purpose that announces itself from the get-go and never lets up.”

Unsurprisingly, you won’t find Chapman browsing Spotify. “I do listen to music still,” she told the New York Times in April 2025. “I don’t listen to as much as I used to, and I’m maybe going to date myself now, or someone’s going call me a Luddite, but I don’t stream music. I only buy music in physical form. Artists get paid when you actually buy a CD or the vinyl. That’s important to me. So to some extent, it limits what I listen to, because it’s a physical commitment of going out into the world and finding things, but I still do go out.”
Music, nature, food, books, pets … Chapman seems to be living the life that all creative introverts dream of. “Being in the public eye and under the glare of the spotlight was, and it still is, to some extent, uncomfortable for me,” she told The Irish Times in 2015. “There are some ways by which everything that has happened in my life has prepared me for this career. But I am a bit shy.”
When it feels right, though, she still has it in her to be an incredible performer who looks like she’s born to be on stage. On her Grammy’s duet with Combs, she sounded as note-perfect and soulful as she did back in her twenties — and becoming the first Black woman and Black songwriter to ever win a Country Music Award thanks to Combs’ cover made it well worth leaving the house for. “I never expected to find myself on the country charts, but I’m honoured to be there,” she told Rolling Stone in 2023.
When she’ll next pop up on stage or screen to delight her fans and win over a whole new generation of music lovers remains a mystery for now — but she does still have one big ambition left to fulfil that would blow that serious, worthy image out of the water. “Years ago, a manager asked me if there was something I had yet to do,” she told the Financial Times.”I said I wanted to be on Sesame Street and I’d like to be a character on The Simpsons who was friends with Lisa. I made it on to Sesame Street but The Simpsons never came through.”
The end of May usually means a few things: school is ending, work vacations are happening and there are tons of movies to watch at the theater.
And while you could spend some hard-earned cash watching the latest Mission: Impossible movie, wouldn’t you rather stay in and watch a good movie for far less?
If your answer is “yes” and you have an HBO Max subscription, then you’re reading the right article.
The streamer has hundreds of underrated movies just waiting to be discovered, and Watch With Us has selected three of them for your weekend viewing pleasure.
‘Maggie’ (2015)
Before Pedro Pascal’s Joel guided Bella Ramsey’s Ellie through the zombie apocalypse in the hit HBO series The Last of Us, Arnold Schwarzenegger did something similar in the 2015 movie Maggie. He stars as Wade Vogel, the father of the titular character Maggie (Abigail Breslin), who has been infected with a virus that will turn her into a zombie in a few weeks. Instead of letting her go to the authorities, who will surely kill her, he brings her home, where he hopes to contain her disease and spare her life. But nothing can stop her transformation, and both Wade and Maggie will have to make some hard choices sooner than they’d like. Will Wade really kill his own daughter for the safety of mankind? And when the time comes, will Maggie let him?
When you think about a zombie movie featuring the star of The Terminator and Commando, you probably think it will be a nonstop action flick with excessive amounts of gore and violence. And while there is some blood and spilled internal organs, Maggie is primarily a drama about a dying child and how a father deals with his grief. Schwarzenegger gives arguably his best performance ever in Maggie, and the film’s ending is poetic, brutal and heartbreaking. Who would’ve thought Maggie would shed more tears than blood?
Tim Lippe (Ed Helms) is a naive insurance agent sent by his boss, Bill (Stephen Root), to attend an important conference in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Tim and his coworkers need to win a sought-after award to save the company, and he may have to resort to unfair tactics to make that happen. That’s hard for Tim, especially when he bonds with fellow agents Dean (John C. Reilly), Joan (Anne Heche) and Ron (Isiah Whitlock Jr.), and he realizes that, by winning the award, they could all lose their jobs. Tim wants to do the right thing, but he also wants to keep his job.
Released in an era when The Hangover movies and Judd Apatow comedies reigned supreme, Cedar Rapids was a surprising box-office dud in 2011. That’s a shame, as the movie is very funny without ever being cheap or mean. As Tim, Helms has a dopey charm that makes you root for him to win, and the supporting cast, which includes Sigourney Weaver as Tim’s former teacher and current lover, is excellent. Cedar Rapids should appeal to fans of Office Space and Waiting since all three movies are workplace comedies that use their bland corporate settings as ideal locations for hilariously inappropriate situations.
The year 1964 was pivotal in American history, and Lyndon B. Johnson (Bryan Cranston) was probably the most important man at the center of it. As President of the United States, Johnson presided over a divided nation that was still recovering from John F. Kennedy’s assassination the prior year. In addition, the Civil Rights Movement galvanized supporters like Martin Luther King Jr. (Anthony Mackie) and detractors like Strom Thurmond (Randy Olgesby) and threatened to divide the Democratic party before the next presidential election. With a never-ending series of domestic and international crises, can Johnson find a way to unite his party and country and somehow win re-election?
Based on the hit 2012 play by Robert Schenkkan, All the Way focuses on one of the most consequential — and dramatic — eras in American politics. The film throws a lot of history at you, with the Civil Rights Act receiving the most attention, but it’s never overwhelming. It helps to have Cranston as your guide throughout all this drama. As LBJ, his performance goes beyond effective caricature and conveys what the actual man must have been like — and the extreme pressure the native Texas experienced every day of his two-term presidency. All the Way shows that, however chaotic you may think modern politics are right now, it doesn’t compare with what Johnson experienced in 1964.
