In the drama series, which quickly rose to become the No. 2 show on the platform, Bacon plays Hub Halloran, a bail bondsman who is killed on a job and resurrected by the devil. Now an agent of Hell itself, he works with his handler Midge (Jolene Purdy, Donnie Darko) and his mother Kitty (Beth Grant, The Mindy Project) to hunt down escaped demons and return them to Satan’s custody.
In a strange move, Amazon Prime Video has already decided not to renew the series, even though it was ranked highly on the platform and earned a solid 83 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. But even though there’s no second season coming, you should still watch it. Here’s why.
Kevin Bacon Exudes Star Power
As always, Footloose heartthrob Kevin Bacon is magnetic onscreen as Hub. The bounty hunter is flawed yet likable, and as he tracks down evil demons, he also tries to make up for the sins of his past to avoid being sent to Hell when he dies. This means reconciling with his ex, Maryanne (Jennifer Nettles of the band Sugarland), and their son, Cade (Maxwell Jenkins, Reacher).
Bacon shows every facet of his considerable talents in the series, from action hero to singer. Yes, that’s right, Bacon sings a few tunes because Hub was an aspiring musician before he turned to bounty — and then demon — hunting.) The actor’s natural charm and his chemistry with Nettles make the show addicting.
It Comes From a Horror Mastermind
The Bondsman is a production of Blumhouse, Jason Blum’s production company, which brought us horror hits like Get Out, Paranormal Activity and The Black Phone, among others.
The expertise shows in The Bondsman, which combines bone-chilling visual effects with great action and smart storytelling.
The World Building Is Devilishly Good
The Bondsman portrays the state of affairs between Heaven and Hell in a really interesting way, with Midge serving as an employee of the Pot O’Gold corporation, “Satan’s front company on Earth.” Each escaped demon, she explains, presents a risk to the fragile truce between Hell and Heaven.
Each episode showcases a different kind of demon, creating opportunities for fun visuals and creepy stories.
The premise of The Bondsman isn’t completely unique by any means — shows like Supernatural, Lucifer and Buffy the Vampire Slayer have all done the “demon hunter” thing to great success — but placing it in the context of a day job puts an interesting spin on it. If you think you have a hard time maintaining work-life balance, try walking in Hub’s shoes for a day or two. It’s not fun, but it sure is fun to watch.
So, Should You Stream ‘The Bondsman’?
Even though it’s been prematurely slain, The Bondsman is a fun and engaging series packed with action and great performances. And, let’s be honest, it’s just always a pleasure to watch Kevin Bacon do his thing.
(And FYI, although the season finale does feel like it’s setting up a season 2, it’s not an unbearable cliffhanger. So you won’t be feeling totally bereft once the last episode ends.)

This omnipresence coupled with Harry becoming more outspoken about his years-long rift with the royal family means that those public opinions have reached a crescendo.
Now, it’s not just regular, anonymous people in Facebook comments saying what they think about Meghan, but celebrities too. These high-profile stars — whether they have met Meghan themselves or don’t know much more about her than the general public — have used their platforms to air their views, and sometimes even offer some nuggets of wisdom and professional advice for the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan has always been a divisive figure, and that’s something most big names can relate to. So, let’s hear what they have to say about one of the most controversial women on the planet.
The entrepreneur and Real Housewives of New York City alum has taken to social media a number of times over the years to say exactly where she thinks Meghan is allegedly going wrong, and how she can fix it.
Most recently, in March 2025, she shared that she had cracked the reason for Meghan’s polarizing public persona. “It’s a combination of jealousy and frustration,” she said via Instagram. “I remember when she walked down the aisle … she was beloved and it was amazing that she was divorced and that she was Black. It was like, it’s this modern royal family and the monarchy’s changing and it was great! And then the wheels came off. She has every right to be unhappy about her life but … I think they underestimated how much they would be on their own. I would do anything to just advise her. It feels like the last girl in the murder movie — like ‘why are you making all the wrong turns?’ Most people don’t have these opportunities. The pot of gold is right there. It’s frustration, we don’t understand. Just like – stop! How did you do it this way?!”
Previously, in July 2023, she said similar things about both Meghan and Harry, posting “How do you do every single thing wrong? I can’t imagine going from hero to zero like that” and adding that their outbursts against the monarchy were “a botched job” and they should “go away for a long time.”
The TV chef exclusively told Us Weekly on March 26 that she is pro-Meghan — and can’t understand why With Love, Meghan has attracted so much criticism.
“I was actually surprised about the backlash to the show,” she said. “[I’ve been] in the lifestyle space for years. We have mixed relatable and unrepeatable elements [too]. Meghan’s show is very well done [and] beautifully filmed. [It has] calming, serene content — and she even used my trick of using a plastic bag as a piping bag for her cake! I’m happy for her. Her crew is doing a great job.” She even had a few words of motivation for the duchess. “Keep on going, and inspire people to make beautiful things,” she said.
On May 3, the actress and comedian posted an Instagram Reel captioned “Meghan Markle can totally fix this if she just does this” where, in a long, hilarious rant, she explained that Meghan’s mistake has been not being more candid about how she and Harry got together.
“She is just avoiding talking about the one thing we all want to hear about,” she said. “Girls are programmed from the time they are literal children to marry a prince, to land a prince. We don’t really want them but, like, give us that intel. What did you do? How did you get them? Just tell us how you got him! Was it kegels? Did you laugh at his corny jokes? Did you let him keep up his Die Hard poster? Like, what did you do?! Just tell us — you’re wearing full butt underwear? Just tell us!”
She went on to poke fun at some of the homemaking tips in Meghan’s show. “I know it’s not the petals on the cookies,” she said. “We know you don’t get men with petals. We don’t want him, we’re just curious! What was the trick — you just listened, and every time he talked you were like, ‘That’s so interesting! Oh my God, that’s so smart! I never would’ve thought about that!’? Do you ask him questions that you already know the answer to? Do you walk with pigeon toes? Are you wearing skirts, aprons? Like, what is it? Just tell us how you got him and we’ll like you.”
As a fellow founder of a huge lifestyle brand, Goop, all eyes were on Paltrow when As Ever launched. But, disappointingly for anyone who loves a drama, the Oscar-winning actress is supportive of Meghan’s work and thinks there’s plenty of room for competition. “I wish Meghan nothing but the best,” she said on “The World’s First Podcast With Erin & Sara Foster” in March 2025. “It’s so great what she’s doing. I’m proud of her. Every woman deserves to go into anything they want to do.”
In fact, Paltrow hasn’t even ruled out collab-ing with the duchess, revealing on May 17 that the two powerful women have been chatting over text.
It’s not the first time both Paltrow and Meghan have been at pains to emphasize that they’re on good terms. “I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes,” the actress told Vanity Fair in March, when the comparisons between Goop and As ever were first drawn. “I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try. Another woman is never your competition.”
The former View cohost and political scion might share her name with Meghan, but that’s where the similarities end. “I was originally a Meghan Markle supporter, I thought she was cool, stylish and refreshing,” she wrote via X in January 2025 after seeing a clip of With Love, Meghan. “Like the rest of the world my opinion changed when she disrespected the royal family. Now that she wants to be American again instead of British aristocracy what she seems to forget is Americans want real, raw, uncensored. All of this even in the trailer is highly curated, produced and out of touch. I would have told her to do a show helping bring fresh food to food deserts in low income neighborhoods. Do something to help people instead of your ego.”
Everyone wants to know what Kaling — as one of Meghan’s most high-profile With Love, Meghan guests — really thinks of the duchess. And, of course, she’s a fan — and finds all the attention their friendship gets pretty overwhelming. “I noticed that whenever I do something, anything related to Meghan it becomes big news,” she said on The View in March 2025. “We were making sandwiches, then they’ll push in on my face on TikTok, and they’ll be like, ‘Look at how this emotion you felt,’ and I honestly didn’t even remember it because we shot it like nine months ago.” The actress added: I loved my time with Meghan. I’m also like, ‘Let her promote her show, and I’ll talk about (Kaling’s new show) ‘Running Point.’ It was great, and it’s really fascinating seeing the reaction.”
Katherine Ryan
The Canadian comedian used to be a supporter of Meghan — but, since watching With Love, Meghan, her feelings have changed a little. On her podcast, “Telling Everybody Everything” in March 2025, Ryan questioned her authenticity. “I liked Meghan Markle,” she said. “I was rooting for Meghan Markle… though she is very Hollywood – even for me – and I don’t like that in people. I don’t think she’s a bad person. Her whole act just seems very manicured and very forced.”
Like Cummings, Ryan thinks the former Suits actress should acknowledge the wonder of their relationship more. “I think she likes cozying up to celebrities and she wants the hundred million dollar deal and she likes the fact that she’s married to a prince,” she said. “I would rather someone lean into that and be like, oh my God, I used to be on Suits and now I’m married to a prince. I would rather that than this act of ‘Oh, I’m just so humble.’”

The former Vanity Fair editor-in-chief (who has written two books about the royal family) has never minced her words when it comes to Harry and Meghan, calling their decision to quit royal duties for life in the U.S a “disaster” at the time. And now she’s gone further. Speaking on “The Ankler” podcast in 2025, the British journalist said “The trouble with Meghan is that she has the worst judgment of anyone in the entire world. She’s flawless about getting it all wrong. All of her ideas are total crap, unfortunately.” She also described Harry as “the lamb to the slaughter” and said the prince “blindly followed her like a child.” Ouch.
The outspoken Osbourne offspring once declared Harry a “f–king t–t” but later clarified her opinions on the couple with a little more nuance. “Maybe it’s because I feel a certain level of disappointment in the sense where I feel like they had an opportunity to become the most liked, loved people in the entire world that could actually bring some positive change,” she said on her family’s podcast in September 2023. “But then, they went down this, like, victim road instead. I get wanting to leave [the royal family], but then just leave. Don’t leave and then just give, “Woe is me” stories about how difficult it was.”
Kelly isn’t the only Osbourne who has issues with Meghan — her mom Sharon isn’t a fan either. Speaking with Piers Morgan on his show, Uncensored, in September 2023, she said the couple were “just so horribly disrespectful and just a whine fest.” She added: “Well, do you know what? You have a great life, you have a beautiful family, and you are so much in love. Move on. Get a life and move on.”
The singer-songwriter is one star who doesn’t understand why the world has such a problem with Meghan. “This profound hatred and annoyance at Meghan Markle specifically — mostly coming from women, I have to say — it’s unfathomable to me,” she shared via TikTok in December 2022. “People are saying, ‘Oh, a woman should never take a man away from his family. That’s all that this is.’ Um, have you seen this family? I just don’t [understand it]. I never have. But people have been annoyed by royals or a particular person in the royal family for centuries.”
This Meghan has her namesake’s back. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum said that it was the Meghan & Harry Netflix series that saw her “turning to their side.” Sharing via her Instagram Stories in 2023, she said “I think Harry seems like his mother and the two of them are in love and want to protect their kids. There’s nothing more relatable in the world than that. I can only imagine how unsafe they feel judging from my baseline of often feeling vulnerable and unsafe.”
The comedian had her say on the controversial couple via Instagram in December 2022 — and, yet again, the Duchess is being criticized for not owning up to her remarkable trajectory enough. “Acting like they can do so much good in the world, which is great and aspirational,” she said. “But when’s the last time a royal did anything that helped the world? That’s all I’m saying. [Meghan] kinda acts like she was never on Deal or No Deal and when I say ‘kinda acts like,’ I mean they don’t acknowledge it at all which is hilarious to me. … You don’t think it’s funny when Meghan acts like she doesn’t know what hair and makeup is?”
The actress and presenter spoke to Meghan on a November 2022 of the Duchess’s “Archetypes” podcast — and said she feels vehemently protective over her. “It’s just an unfathomable amount of s— that you take, Meghan,” said The Good Place star. “I can’t believe it. And I fought back on your behalf for years before I’d ever met you because I was so outraged by the twisting of this, very normal, very kind, very civilized woman. That demonization just shows how afraid they are of you.”

Guardians of the Galaxy leading man Chris Pratt stars in The Tomorrow War as James Daniel Forester Jr., a former Green Beret who thought his military service was behind him. Unfortunately for Dan, humanity’s darkest days are ahead, as evidenced by the arrival of soldiers from the future. These visitors from another time come with a dire warning that humanity will perish in a war against alien invaders if modern soldiers and civilians don’t enlist to go to the future and fight the war alongside their descendants.
When Dan gets to the future, he discovers that the situation is even more desperate than he was led to believe. He also teams up with his now-adult daughter, Colonel Muri Forester (Yvonne Strahovski), and eventually reunites with his estranged father, James Daniel Forester, Sr. (J. K. Simmons), to find a way to end the alien reign of terror.

Until fairly recently, the flow of content between Hulu and Disney+ only went in one direction. The latter got to play with all of Disney’s biggest brands while Hulu’s superior lineup of films and TV shows was used to shore up Disney+’s shortcomings.
Now, Disney seems much more willing to give Hulu subscribers a taste of what they’re missing on Disney+ with a handful of Star Wars movies as well as a few Marvel TV shows.
This month, Daredevil and The Punisher are streaming on Hulu, which is ironic since both were Netflix original series produced by Marvel Television nearly a decade ago. Both of those series are worth catching for superhero fans who want more mature storylines, but the one Hulu show you have to watch in May 2025 is The Defenders.
The Defenders was the culmination of Marvel Television’s attempt to bring four different TV superheroes into a single miniseries. Think of it as The Avengers on a much smaller scale. It’s not the best show that Marvel has ever produced, but there are definitely things it does very well.
The Team-Up Feels Like a Genuine Event
If you’re expecting The Defenders to match the scale of Marvel’s Avengers movies, then you’re bound to be disappointed. It’s got a lot lower budget than the big Marvel movies. What it does have is TV-MA action that borders on R-rated, and it’s really enjoyable to see Matt Murdock/Daredevil banter with Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Jessica always seems to know the most cutting line to say while she’s around Matt.
Similarly, the live-action pairing of Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones) felt very natural. In the comics, Cage and Rand had a long partnership, but they’re initially strangers to each other in this story. Jones’ performance as Danny was widely panned in the first season of Iron Fist. But in this series, Jones seemed more relaxed and in command of his character. There were some shaky moments with Iron Fist’s decisions late in the season, but it was still an improvement.
After establishing those two separate pairings, the show finally brings the four of them together for the final stretch of the season. They may not be Earth’s mightiest heroes, but they’re an entertaining group.
‘The Defenders’ Blends the Casts of Four Different TV Series
This wasn’t simply a show for the four main heroes. Almost all of the important supporting cast members from their respective shows also had roles in this crossover. Rosario Dawson‘s Claire Temple was the natural choice to appear, since she had previous interactions with all four of the main characters.
Iron Fist‘s Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) and Luke Cage‘s Misty Knight (Simone Missick) had a longtime partnership in the comics that was given a nod on this show. Marvel did reunite them in Luke Cage season 3, but this miniseries had some of their best interactions. Jessica Jones‘ Rachael Taylor and Eka Darville and Daredevil‘s Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll weren’t as prominently featured, but they also took part in this miniseries. That made The Defenders feel like a true continuation of all four shows.
Sigourney Weaver Embraces Her Villain Era
In the ’80s and ’90s, Sigourney Weaver‘s Ellen Ripley was practically a superhero in the Alien movies. But in The Defenders, Weaver seemed to relish the chance to play Alexandra, one of the main villains. On the face of it, having a 68-year-old Caucasian actress play the leader of The Hand — a Japanese ninja clan and a death cult — didn’t make a lot of sense. Weaver was probably cast in the role for her star power, and she chews the scenery like a great villain should. The show presents Alexandra and her fellow five fingers of The Hand as functionally immortal, but also facing their own potential deaths if they don’t move forward with their plans for New York City.
That brings us to Élodie Yung‘s Elektra, the former lover of Matt Murdock and a key figure in Daredevil’s backstory. Alexandra resurrected Elektra to be her weapon in this show, but Elektra ultimately had other ideas and went down a darker path. Yung has since headlined four seasons of The Cleaning Lady on Fox, and she may not be reprising her role as Elektra anytime soon. Thankfully, she’s very good in the short time she played the character, and she was also a believable physical foil for the Defenders.
It Inadvertently Sets Up ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2
This wasn’t planned back in 2017, but The Defenders is now in the odd position of foreshadowing the return of Jessica Jones to the MCU. It was recently announced that Ritter will reprise her role in Daredevil: Born Again for the first time since Jessica Jones ended in 2019. Ritter’s return had been rumored for years, but not confirmed until earlier this month. That almost certainly means Jessica will reunite with Matt at some point during the season and resume their somewhat contentious relationship.
Given the way that Born Again season 1 ended with Matt recruiting allies to help him take down NYC Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), getting the Defenders back together was the natural way to go. For now, there’s no word about whether Colter or Jones will also reprise their roles as Luke Cage and Iron Fist when Daredevil: Born Again premieres in 2026. But fans will likely welcome them back if they are.

What Happened in ‘The Last of Us’ Season 2, Episode 6?
Almost the entire episode took place in the past. The first flashback introduced Better Call Saul‘s Tony Dalton as Javier Miller, the father of Joel and Tommy. Joel put himself between his father’s abusive rage and his younger brother, and he was rewarded for his bravery with a heart-to-heart conversation. Javier also expressed his hope that Joel will do better with his own children than he did with his.
To a certain extent, Joel did. The rest of the episode touches on Joel’s life with Ellie in Jackson, including the time he gave her a hand-crafted guitar for her birthday. However, the emotional distance between Joel and Ellie grew larger over the years, especially when she declared her intent to move out of his house. On Ellie’s 19th birthday, she and Joel went out on patrol and encountered Eugene (Joe Pantoliano) after he had been infected. Eugene begged Joel to let him see his wife, Gail (Catherine O’Hara), one last time. Ellie made Joel agree to that, but she was angered when Joel executed Eugene anyway. That’s why she exposed his lies to Gail.
In the final flashback, Ellie confronted Joel after the New Year’s Eve party and demanded the truth about what happened with the Fireflies. Joel admitted that he executed all of them rather than let Ellie be euthanized in the name of finding a cure. Ellie was angered because she felt that was worth dying for, but she told Joel that she wanted to try to forgive him. In turn, Joel told Ellie that he hopes she does better with her children.
What’s Going to Happen in ‘The Last of Us’ Season 2, Episode 7?
Expect to see a major turning point for Ellie’s story, since this episode will be the last for at least a year or two. It will be interesting to see if The Last of Us leans into a cliffhanger ending or if the conclusion to season 2 will be left more open-ended.

Who’s Joined the Cast of ‘The Last of Us’ Season 2?
In addition to Dever as Abby, Merced as Dina and Wright as Isaac Dixon, Young Mazino also joined the cast as Dina’s ex, Jesse.
Catherine O’Hara plays Gail, who was Joel’s therapist in Jackson before he passed away. While Gail’s husband, Eugene, was only briefly seen in the game, Joe Pantoliano portrayed that character on the show. Gabriel Luna is reprising his season 1 role as Joel’s younger brother, Tommy.

The injectable drug (also known as tirzepatide) is similar to Ozempic and Wegovy in that it is used primarily to treat diabetes, but can also be effective in weight loss. The former Rosie O’Donnell Show host proudly showed off her recent weight loss via Instagram in May 2025 and directly attributed her positive health news to using the weight loss medication.
In a message captioned with the hashtag “Mounjaro,” she wrote, “I cant believe this is me now.”
O’Donnell first announced to her TikTok followers in March 2025 that she was having success with the medication after her recent move from the U.S. to Ireland.
“I’ve lost more weight,” she announced. “I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight. But it’s also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don’t have a chef now. It’s me cooking for [my child] Clay and me.”
She went on, “I’m one of those people who always had a weight issue and now that I’m a size large — instead of an XL or a XXL — I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking.”

The comedian shared with her Instagram followers in March 2024 that she was doing well on Mounjaro after having a less positive experience on Wegovy years earlier.
“Three years ago, I tried Wegovy. I was puking, I couldn’t handle it. I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula, whatever,” she said via Instagram. “But anyway, I went on this Telehealth meeting with [virtual clinic] Midi Health, and it was cheap. I wanted to try it myself ‘cause I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are nurses and teachers.”
Schumer explained that, in addition to her use of the weight loss medication, her clinicians put her on “estrogen and progesterone” because she was perimenopausal.
“My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean. I’m talking about sex,” she joked. “So that’s been great and Mounjaro’s been great.”
She also noted, “And, look, it’s not covered by insurance unless you have diabetes or like severe obesity, which most of the internet thinks I have. But I’m having a really good experience with it and I wanted to keep it real with you about that.”

The “Woman Up” singer revealed on her “Workin’ On It” podcast in April 2025 that both she and husband Sabara started taking Mounjaro after welcoming son Riley in 2021. Trainor said that they went with Mounjaro over other weight-loss medications because they were told it “had less side effects”.
“I also gained some [sympathy] pregnancy weight,” Sabara explained. “We’ve been on this journey for a while and we learned how there are right ways to do it.”
Trainor insisted she felt “no shame” about using weight-loss injections, though she stressed that the couple simultaneously focused on portion control.
“I’ve learned so much about portions,” Trainor noted. “I’m like, ‘Remember how big your stomach is.’ I don’t want to bug [Sabara] and I always do. He’s like, ‘Are you fat-shaming me?’ I’m like, ‘No, babe, I’m looking out for you.’ Our eyes are hungrier than our stomachs. I blame where we live [because] the portion sizes are ridiculous.”
She added, “I learned all these little tricks that changed my life. I literally bought smaller plates ‘cause I’m like, ‘No, you can’t put too much rice on there.’ … I’m obsessed now with the science of when I work out and build muscle, you have to eat protein or else it’s not going to do anything.”

In February 2025, Disick candidly discussed his weight loss, and his use of Mounjaro, during an episode of The Kardashians. Khloé Kardashian asked Disick directly to clear up rumors after fans questioned whether there was a weight loss drug in his fridge during one scene.
“It shows the Mounjaro? You’re lying!” he declared. “Oh, f*** me running. By the way, I am not embarrassed that I took it! Everyone that has a problem with Mounjaro can suck my d***. And by the way, they can see it now because for a minute, you couldn’t!”
Disick explained that it was “tough living that large,” with Kardashian soon coming to his defense over using a weight loss medication.
“You shouldn’t be [embarrassed]! When I was fat, I would have drank that s***,” she said. “I don’t get the shame in it. You don’t get it because you don’t have these problems but when I was thicker, I took laxatives. I would take anything that anyone was pushing.”

In another video of the performance, Hailey called Justin and SZA her “two favorite artists.” There have been multiple special guests during the Grand National Tour since it kicked off on April 19, including Lizzo joining SZA on stage the night before Justin’s cameo.

Friday’s appearance at SoFi Stadium marked the first time Justin has played live since a private concert at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India in July 2024.
“Hailey tries to be there for him as much as she can,” an insider told Us. “She is very patient and accommodating and helps him a lot. She is the most supportive wife, and he feels grateful to have her. They have been through a lot, but have been in a good place these last few months.”
A second source close to the Biebers said, “Hailey is a positive, good influence on Justin. She’s been a saving grace for him.”
Hailey opened up to Vogue earlier this month about her “very difficult” postpartum journey, which she insisted was exacerbated by intense speculation about her marriage.
“Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult,” she said. “And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, ‘They’re getting divorced and they’re this and they’re not happy’: It is such a mindf***. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.”
Hailey credited Justin’s 15 years in the spotlight with helping her deal with the intense “scrutiny” that they both routinely face.
“I’ve learned so much from Justin, really,” she told Vogue. “He’s been doing this literally since he was a child and he has had to face the most scrutiny of any person that I know. He was like, ‘Baby, trust me, I’ve been here before many, many times. You’re not going to win. There is no winning.’”
The couple started dating in 2015, before getting engaged and later tying the knot at a New York City courthouse in 2018. The couple held a wedding reception for family and friends in South Carolina the following year.

Alexa Ray quoted her father’s classic 1993 song “Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel)” while thanking his fans from all over the world for their supportive social media messages.
“The genuine care, empathy, and concern from everyone means so much to him… it means a lot to me, too,” she concluded. “‘Someday We’ll All Be Gone / But Lullabies Go On And On / They Never Die / That’s How You And I Will Be.’ The music continues… ”
The “Piano Man” singer, 76, announced via Instagram on Friday, May 23, that he was cancelling “all scheduled concerts” due to being diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH).
NPH is a “brain disorder in which excess cerebrospinal fluid accumulates in the brain’s ventricles, which are fluid-filled chambers,” according to the Alzheimer’s Association. “As brain ventricles enlarge with the excess CSF, they can disrupt and damage nearby brain tissue, leading to difficulty walking, problems with thinking and reasoning, and loss of bladder control.”
Billy’s team explained via Instagram that NPH has caused “problems with hearing, vision, and balance,” which impacted other recent live performances. His doctors have now recommended that Billy stop performing while he undergoes “specific physical therapy.” (Joel last performed at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut in February.)

“He is grateful for the support from fans during this time and looks forward to the day when he can once again take to the stage,” his representatives said.
Billy added in his own statement, “I’m sincerely sorry to disappoint our audience. Thank you for understanding.”
In total, Billy cancelled 17 concerts that were supposed to take place in both the U.S. and England throughout the rest of the year. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee previously postponed multiple summer stadium concerts in March. At the time, Billy’s team simply said he was dealing with a “medical condition” and that “health must come first,” but stressed that the musician was “expected to make a full recovery.”
“I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.,” the musician said in March.
Last summer, Billy ended his historic run of headlining Madison Square Garden in New York City with his 150th lifetime performance at the venue. He performed his final residency show at Madison Square Garden on July 25, 2024, where he was joined on stage by Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose.
“Everybody in the world knows when you play The Garden, it’s not just New York,” Billy said at the time. “To our audience, I want to thank them for coming to our shows for this long. It’s hard to end, even at 150 lifetime shows. I just want to thank everyone for the wonderful thing that’s happened here.”
The former Rosie O’Donnell Show host, 63, shared a new photo via Instagram on Saturday, May 24, in which she credited the weight loss medication Mounjaro for her new look.
“I cant believe this is me now,” O’Donnell wrote, along with hashtagging the photo with “mounjaro,” “weightloss” and “bodydismorphia.”
Mounjaro is an injectable medication that is used to treat type 2 diabetes and has shown effectiveness in weight loss.
O’Donnell first shared with her social media followers in March that she was taking Mounjaro as part of her diabetes treatment.
“I’ve lost more weight. I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight,” she said. “But it’s also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don’t have a chef now. It’s me cooking for Clay and me.”
She continued, “I’m one of those people who always had a weight issue and now that I’m a size large — instead of an XL or a XXL — I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking.”
Mob Wives star Renee Graziano recently revealed a 52-pound weight loss that she credited, in part, to using Mounjaro. She added that “right supplements” and “doing all the work behind [her] insecurity” were also responsible for her fitness journey.
“I’ve battled self-criticism in the past! Ripped myself down to the ground!!” Graziano, 57, wrote via Instagram. “I truly was so sick and tired of my life and my inability to lose weight so I thought I’d eat until I felt better THAT NEVER HAPPENED, I felt like I was constantly falling short—of how I ‘should’ look, feel, and keep up with what society tells us is acceptable.”
Graziano went on, “That’s why, when I see photos that show the real, visible change, my clear eyes and genuine smile, I have to share. I want everyone to know if I can do it, you can do it! It’s all possible!!”
Amy Schumer has praised Mounjaro as well, revealing she adjusted more easily to the injectable medication than its competitor medication Wegovy. (According to WebMD, Mounjaro is classified similarly to other drugs such as Wegovy or Ozempic because they all contain GLP-1, which assists in weight loss. Mounjaro is designed to help diabetes patients with weight management, with common side effects including nausea and diarrhea.)
“Three years ago, I tried Wegovy,” Schumer, 43, said in an Instagram video in March. “I was puking, I couldn’t handle it. I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula, whatever. But anyway, I went on this Telehealth meeting with [virtual care clinic] Midi Health, and it was cheap. I wanted to try it myself ‘cause I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are nurses and teachers.”
She added, “They put me on estrogen and progesterone because I realized I was in perimenopause and my symptoms from being perimenopause have disappeared. My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean. I’m talking about sex. So that’s been great and Mounjaro’s been great.”
Meanwhile, O’Donnell moved from the U.S. to Ireland with her 12-year-old child, Clay, in January. The actress exclusively told Us Weekly in April that the pair were now settled in Dublin.
“There’s a great, great school there. And Clay has done very well. And they were really welcoming,” O’Donnell told Us. “And I love the little town, the little village. It’s in the heart of Dublin, but it’s still a village where you know the name of the grocer and you know the name of the cashiers. People are unbearably kind in a way that shocks me every single day.”

O’Donnell admitted to Us that she was surprised to see Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi leave the U.S. as well, to resettle in the English countryside.
“I’ve never really known Ellen to say anything political in her life, so I was surprised to read that she left because of President Trump. Like, that shocked me, actually,” O’Donnell told Us. “I’ve been a political person my whole life, not better or worse, it’s just a different way to be in the world. I was very clear about the reason why I was leaving, and I don’t think it came as a surprise to anyone. We’re not really in each other’s worlds, and it’s been kind of awkward but you know what? I wish her the best. I wish that she has peace and love in her life and that she is OK.”
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Memorial Day Weekend menu and activities schedule in jail have reportedly been revealed.
Diddy, 55, and the inmates of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center will be able to dine on festive treats and play basketball during the holiday weekend, according to TMZ.
The website reports that the menu for this weekend includes a selection of fruit and cereal for breakfast, while inmates can choose between barbecued chicken, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables and a mysterious “holiday dessert” for lunch. At dinnertime, Diddy can indulge in chicken and rice — or tofu if he prefers— as well as pinto beans, canned corn and whole wheat bread.
When the MDC inmates aren’t busy dining, there is reportedly a set of activities they will be able to enjoy. The detention center allows inmates to play a selection of board games, dominoes or spades, or if they’d prefer to be a bit more physically active, they can take part in three-on-three basketball games.
Since his arrest in September 2024, Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His four requests for bail were denied by Judge Arun Subramanian.
Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

The trial began in Manhattan federal court on May 12 and made headlines with explosive testimony from Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie. During four days of intense testimony, Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) alleged that she endured physical, emotional and sexual abuse during her on-off 11-year relationship with the embattled mogul.
The second week of the trial included other major bombshells, including Cassie’s ex-boyfriend Kid Cudi comparing Diddy’s behavior to “a Marvel supervillain” during an alleged confrontation between the two men at Soho House in Los Angeles. Cassie’s mother, Regina Ventura, testified on Tuesday, May 20, she took out a $20,000 home equity loan in order to satisfy an alleged blackmail demand from Diddy. (Diddy has denied all allegations of wrongdoing.)
Because of the Memorial Day holiday, the trial will begin its third week on Tuesday, May 27, where Diddy’s former assistant, Capricorn Clark, is expected on the witness stand.
Away from the courtroom, Diddy’s twin daughters D’Lila and Jessie, 18, graduated from Sierra Canyon High School in California this past week. Videos from their social media show their brother Justin Dior Combs presenting his sisters with diamond necklaces in honor of their special day. (Diddy has seven children — he shared D’Lila and Jessie with late partner Kim Porterand Justin was born during his relationship with fashion designer Misa Hylton.)

Jesse Williams argued in new court documents that he doesn’t need to notify his ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee about any medical care their two children may obtain.
Under the ruling, Williams is not obligated to notify Drake-Lee about their children’s upcoming medical visits, though he is required to inform his ex-wife once treatments, such as orthodontic visits, have taken place.
Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month that Williams accused Drake-Lee of violating the court’s restrictions by “threatening” their 11-year-old daughter Sadie’s orthodontist. The actor claims his ex promised to file a lawsuit if the doctor “touches the children.”
Us has obtained new court documents filed on Friday, May 23, in which Drake-Lee requests “the immediate disqualification” of Williams’ attorneys on the grounds of “egregious misconduct by counsel that amounts to fraud upon the court, the systemic use of hearsay in place of any admissible or substantiated evidence, and repeated, escalating violations of [Drake-Lee’s] constitutional rights to due process throughout these proceedings.”
Drake-Lee maintained that she was not given the proper chance to respond to Williams’ request for medical custody in court, thus denying her “a meaningful opportunity to be heard and to assert her parental and legal rights.”
Her attorneys are additionally seeking to overturn the court’s April ruling because they say Drake-Lee was not given “adequate notice or time” to address the request.

Williams responded to Drake-Lee’s latest court filings by reasserting that he was given “sole right to obtain orthodontic care for Sadie without notification to Aryn,” but that he would “provide notification” to his ex-wife after any orthodontic or medical care was completed.
“Aryn is seeking an order to disqualify Jesse’s counsel and vacate Court orders apparently based upon what she claims is hearsay evidence. There is no emergency, no irreparable harm, and no immediate danger to justify Aryn’s requests on an ex parte [one party] basis,” his legal team wrote in new court documents, also obtained by Us.
Williams’ lawyers additionally argued: “Aryn is apparently claiming among other things that the Court’s orders were based upon ‘hearsay’ and should therefore be vacated. It is unclear what hearsay evidence, if any, Aryn is referring to. Notwithstanding, there is no irreparable harm, immediate danger, or any other statutory basis to substantiate Aryn’s emergency requests. Aryn does not present any credible evidence to show that the children will suffer irreparable harm and immediate danger if Aryn’s ex parte [single party] requests are not granted.”
The former couple’s next custody hearing was originally set for May 29, but Williams’ lawyer has requested it be delayed until July 10 due to scheduling issues.
Williams and Drake-Lee were married from 2012 to 2017. After their split, the pair engaged in a lengthy divorce and custody battle that was finalized in October 2020.
The actor initially requested to alter their child custody agreement in September 2024 in favor of equal joint physical custody and more frequent visitation periods.

“She’s a great human being,” he replied while appearing on Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show. “If all we were [was] the friends that we are… I would take that. She’s so impressively brilliant.”
A source exclusively told Us Weekly that since debuting their relationship, the pair “are enjoying life together,” adding that they “wanted to make it public” and “have nothing to hide.”
A second insider told Us that the pair had “been dating for about four months” prior to their announcement. (The pair first met on the set of the 2022 holiday film Christmas in Paradise.)

Cyrus revealed how the pair reconnected after previously working together, saying that Hurley reached out to him in 2024 via text.

Damian has been supportive of his mother’s new relationship with the country singer, even going so far as to publicly comment on their PDA-filled Instagram posts.
“Everyone is happy Damian loves [Billy Ray],” a source close to Hurley told Us. Another source close to Cyrus told Us that “Damian is really happy to see his mom happy.”
