PCA Skin recommends the bar for morning and nightly use. It also includes eucalyptus oil, which gives it a spa-like scent while calming irritation. It’s perfect for anyone dealing with and preventing breakouts and inflammation.
Hyper Hydration: To firm and hydrate dry and mature skin, PCA Skin’s Collagen Hydrator has olive and almond extracts that infuse antioxidants into the skin while firming. With multiple moisturizing ingredients, expect the Collagen Hydrator to hydrate, soothe and smooth your skin. Use it as the final step in your evening routine to lock in moisture overnight and wake up to plumper, softer skin.

The Better Sister star, 43, shares sons Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4, with the “Mirrors” singer, but despite having two famous parents, the boys aren’t as impressed by Mom as they are by Dad.
“No, no, not at all,” Biel responded when asked if her sons realize how “cool” their parents are during an appearance on the Tuesday, May 20, episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “Well, I think they think Justin’s kind of cool ‘cause the music element and, like, he’s Daddy.”
In fact, the actress said she is considered something of an embarrassment to little Phineas, who turns 5 in July.
“I am so lame to them,” Biel shared. “Let me tell you the new phrase for my 4-year-old is: ‘Mom, you have the worst ideas.’ Silas is like, ‘Don’t engage, Mom. Back up off the field.’ I’m like, I just said, ‘Good job!’”
Host Jimmy Fallon then shared a recent project Phineas created in school for Mother’s Day, describing his mom. The 4-year-old wrote that his mom was 12 years old and had “straight down brown” hair. He also noted that she had blue eyes. “They’re green,” Biel quipped to Fallon.
Phineas also wrote that his mom is “John Cena’s friend.” Biel and Cena recently filmed the movie Matchbox, based on the toy brand of the same name, and Biel admitted that her newfound friendship with Cena made her infinitely cooler to her two boys.
“Okay, I got some cool mom points from that. They love him. They’re crazy about him,” she said.
“Happy Mother’s Day to the superwoman who puts up with all the boys,” Timberlake, 44, wrote via his Instagram Story alongside a photo of Biel smiling for the camera as she embraced one of their sons.
“We love you so much mama,” the singer added over another image of Biel kneeling in front of their sons as they sported Timberlake’s merch.
Months before Mother’s Day, Biel opened up about marriage with Timberlake while celebrating his birthday in January. (The couple tied the knot in 2012.)
“Another year to make memories that I keep sacred in my heart. Another year of joy and challenges being a parent with you. Another year together being curious and creative in the world. Another year growing and evolving and sometimes devolving, with you. Another year laughing about it all,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Happy birthday my love .”

Everyone loves a good thriller. From 1960’s Psycho to 2024’s Conclave, suspense movies have been around for decades and will always find an appreciative audience.
The genre has been in a bit of a slump lately, with fewer thrillers released in theaters than in its heyday in the ‘90s. That decade was arguably a high point for thrill-seeking movie fans, with a seemingly endless supply of commercial and critical hits like Basic Instinct with Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone and Se7en with Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Watch With Us picks the 10 best thrillers of the ‘90s and ranks them from the very good to the absolute best. It’s a testament to the strength of ‘90s thrillers that some fan favorites like Primal Fear with Richard Gere and Misery with Kathy Bates didn’t make the cut.
10. ‘Fear’ (1996)
David (Mark Wahlberg) is every teenage girl’s dream: he’s polite to parents, attentive to his partner and looks like a Calvin Klein underwear model. That’s why 16-year-old Seattle high school student Nicole (Reese Witherspoon) falls for him, and why most of her friends and family like him. But Nicole’s dad, Steve (William Petersen), doesn’t trust him, and soon his instincts are proven right — David is a psychopath who wants to take over his entire family. Can Steven convince Nicole she’s sleeping with the enemy?
Fear is a criminally underrated thriller that was largely ignored when it was first released in 1996. It’s still effective in 2025, and that’s due to the surprisingly layered performances by Witherspoon and Petersen as a father and daughter whose lack of connection is exploited by David. Fear also functions as a great snapshot of Seattle in the mid-’90s, when grunge music and flannel shirts still ruled pop culture.
It’s every mother’s worst nightmare — your children are being threatened, and there’s nothing you can do about it. For Claire (Annabella Sciorra), the threat comes not from outside, but from within her home. New nanny Peyton (Rebecca De Mornay) is not what she seems, and her pleasant demeanor hides a quiet rage that threatens not only her friends and family but Claire’s life as well.
Often derogatorily described as “the killer nanny movie,” The Hand That Rocks the Cradle is better and subtler than its trashy reputation suggests. As Peyton, DeMornay brings real pathos to her disturbed caretaker and pulls off the impossible trick of making her more sympathetic than Sciorra’s frustratingly helpless Claire. The film isn’t afraid to be pulpy, and a young Julianne Moore energizes every scene she’s in as Claire’s chain-smoking friend Marlene, who clocks Peyton’s phony angelic act right from the start (and pays for it later on).
Allie Jones (Bridget Fonda) doesn’t like to be alone. After catching her longtime boyfriend cheating on her, she kicks him out and places an advertisement looking for a “SWF” (Single White Female) roommate to share her spacious Manhattan apartment. That’s how she meets Hedy (Jennifer Jason Leigh), who soon moves into Allie’s place and slowly takes over her life. Hedy is just as needy as Allie, and she’s willing to kill to remain in her new roommate’s life.
Single White Female has a lurid premise, but the two lead actresses invest enough depth and conviction in their roles to make the thriller better than others. Hedy is clearly disturbed, but Jason Leigh lets you see the full extent of Hedy’s lethal neediness. Allie isn’t that much different from Hedy, and Fonda excels in showing Allie’s subtle transformation from victim to hero by the film’s end. Single White Female is one of the more stylish thrillers on this list, and its blue-tinged cinematography gives the film a unique, moody look that is hard to forget.
“What’s in the box?” Detective David Mills (Brad Pitt) desperately asks his partner, William Somerset (Morgan Freeman), near the end of Se7en. He already knows the answer— and so do we. The events leading up to that devastating moment are just as nauseating and fascinating, making Se7en one of the few thrillers you’re glad to have seen and never want to watch again.
Two city detectives, David and William, team up to investigate a series of murders based on the seven deadly sins: gluttony, lust, pride — you get the idea. As each murder is increasingly more bizarre and violent than the next, the two detectives race against time to stop him before he claims more victims.
Malice offers the best value on this list — it’s two thrillers in one movie, and there’s little connection between the two. A serial rapist is terrorizing a small campus town, and Prof. Andy Safian (Bill Pullman) is both a suspect and maybe the only man who can catch the assailant. Meanwhile, Andy’s wife, Tracy (Nicole Kidman), loses the ability to have children due to a botched emergency surgery conducted by Andy’s old friend, Jed (Alec Baldwin). Did Jed deliberately harm Tracy due to a God complex? Or is something more sinister at play?
Malice is a curiosity — both plots don’t really add up, and you’re left wondering why it bothered to have two of them instead of one. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t an effective thriller filled with atmospheric shots of shadowy homes and secret seaside cabins, a creepy score by Jerry Goldsmith and memorably nasty turns by Baldwin and Kidman. Malice also has one of the great comeuppance endings in the thriller genre when the bad guy gets a nice dose of karmic justice.
Dr. Helen Hudson (Sigourney Weaver) is a rich and successful criminal psychologist who is agoraphobic due to a past attack by a deranged fan. Her mind is still sharp, though, and she’s the only one who is noticing that a serial killer is stalking San Francisco and copying famous killers like Son of Sam and Ted Bundy. She begrudgingly teams up with two detectives, MJ (Holly Hunter) and Reuben (Dermot Mulroney), to find the killer before he strikes again.
Copycat is a rare thriller with two female leads who function as both the damsel in distress and the hero of the story. What makes the thriller even more fascinating — and entertaining — is that Helen and MJ don’t really like each other. Both women get on each other’s nerves, but are smart enough to realize they are the only ones who, together, can catch the copycat murderer.
Weaver and Hunter provide real dimension to their characters, and aren’t concerned with making them likable or even relatable. You still pull for them to succeed, though, and that’s what makes Copycat one of the best thrillers in any decade.
Max Cady (Robert De Niro) is a career criminal with an axe to grind. He believes his defense attorney, Sam Bowden (Nick Nolte), deliberately lost his case years ago so he could spend time behind bars for the rape of a 16-year-old girl. Now free, Max enacts a revenge plan that involves seducing Sam’s daughter, Dani (Juliette Lewis), and alienating Sam from his depressed wife, Lee (Jessica Lange). Sam might have to go beyond the law to protect his family and deal with Max once and for all.
A remake of a so-so 1962 thriller of the same name, this version is more nuanced, more violent and infinitely better. Credit director Martin Scorsese for using the bones of Cape Fear’s original story and crafting a superior remake that’s just as interested in showing how damaged a seemingly typical American family really is as he is at scaring audiences with Max’s periodic violent outbursts.
De Niro got an Oscar nomination for his unsettling performance, but just as good are Nolte and Lange as a married couple whose love has been overwhelmed by their mutual exhaustion with one another. The great cinematographer Freddie Francis gave the film a dreamy, hallucinatory feel, and Scorsese wisely left Bernard Herrmann’s original tense score largely intact.
It’s New York in the 1950s, and Tom Ripley (Matt Damon), broke and alone, is offered a unique job: travel to Italy to persuade a wealthy man’s son, Dickie Greenleaf (Jude Law), to return to the United States. Tom accepts, but he quickly likes Dickie’s la dolce vita too much and decides to murder him and assume his identity. But how long can Tom keep up this act before being discovered by the authorities and Dickie’s increasingly suspicious girlfriend, Marge (Gwyneth Paltrow)?
The Talented Mr. Ripley remains the best of all the Ripley adaptations because it excels as an escapist thriller that never loses sight of the loneliness that both fuels and cripples its lead character. Tom wants what others have, and murder is a justifiable means to get to a desired end. Damon was never better as Ripley, and the whole film has a warm, sunny feel that is deceptively welcoming and sets up its brutally cold, gut-punch of an ending.
Bridget Gregory (Linda Fiorentino) just might be the coldest woman ever to exist in a movie. That’s both a compliment and a warning, as nothing can really prepare you for what she does in The Last Seduction, a modest neo-noir from 1994 that’s still as brittle and brilliant after all these years.
Longtime New Yorker Bridget has stolen some drug money from her abusive dentist husband, Clay (Bill Pullman), and she’s lying low in a small town so she can get a quickie divorce. But when she meets dumb, good-hearted Mike, she soon concocts a plan to get rich quick and maybe get rid of Clay without the help of a lawyer.
Directed by John Dahl, The Last Seduction doesn’t get enough credit for its lean, mean direction (not a second is wasted) and tight story. But this is Fiorentino’s show all the way, and she’s hypnotic whenever she’s on screen. Her Bridget is always cool and collected, even when things don’t go according to her plan. By the time the movie ends, you’re left feeling impressed by what she pulls off — and a little scared at how easily she does it.
When rock star Johnny Boz (Bill Cable) is brutally murdered with an ice pick, Detective Nick Curran (Michael Douglas) thinks his girlfriend, bestselling author Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone), is the killer. She has a thing for ice picks, writing books about murders that eventually occur and hanging around with reformed serial killers — oh, and she also has a thing for Nick.
Nick likes to live dangerously, so he begins an affair with her even though he’s not convinced she’s innocent. Did Catherine kill Johnny? Or is the real killer closer to Nick than he realizes?
With its mix of noir, action and even horror, Basic Instinct is a maximalist thriller slickly directed by Paul Verhoeven and cleverly plotted by Joe Eszterhas. It’s always entertaining, even if it’s often in bad taste, and it’s dominated by Stone’s blonde femme fatale. It’s obvious Catherine is the killer, but the genius of her performance is that she convinces Nick — and you — that she’s innocent. The main thrill of Basic Instinct isn’t finding out who did it, but piecing together the puzzle afterwards. It’s enormously fun, too, and that’s why it’s the best thriller of the 1990s.
When Kim Gravel goes live on QVC, viewers know they are in for a shopping party.
Whether she’s sharing stories about her family with the program host, complimenting the models’ outfits or joking with the producers behind the scenes, Gravel, 53, makes it a priority to make everyone feel welcomed and part of the show.
“I’m all about community,” Gravel exclusively shared with Us Weekly before her next Today’s Special Value on Saturday, May 24. “I love family and these customers — I don’t even want to call them customers — I call them our girls and our friends, because we have really done life with these people. It’s not a business. It’s a family. It’s a community, and the business just happens because we are in the people business. We’re not in the product business.”
Ever since she launched her fashion brand, Belle by Kim Gravel, in 2016, followed by her beauty brand, Love Who You Are, Gravel has reached $1 billion in sales.
She is a staple on QVC’s Fashion Days and continues to expand with products in the home department. More items are expected to be released for the shopping network’s annual Christmas in July celebration.
“When [the viewer] tunes into QVC, she knows Kim’s gonna be there and honest,” Gravel said. “One time I was sitting on there, and I just looked at the camera and said, ‘Look, y’all. If you don’t want this, you ain’t got the money, don’t buy it.’ And I remember in my ear, the producer said, ‘Spike in sales.’ I think that we built trust with each other.”

For more proof, just wait for the moments when QVC takes phone calls from shoppers during live broadcasts.
Time and time again, women of all ages share their testimonials of how Gravel’s flexibelle or tripleluxe fabrication transforms their wardrobe and the way they feel.
One time, Gravel was shocked to hear a man on the other line, sharing how much his wife loves her clothes.
“This gentleman called in, and he said, ‘Kim, my wife does not know I had called you, but my wife is fine. Her butt looks so good.’ His name was Mike. I’ll never forget it,” Gravel shared with Us. “It went company-wide after the call, but he was just saying, ‘Thank you for making my wife look hot.’”

A more recent caller said she purchased floral embroidered jeans, even though she was in hospice with an estimated two weeks to live.
“She said, ‘I bought these jeans because I’m gonna watch my granddaughter walk across the stage and get her college diploma,’” Gravel recalled. “Needless to say she don’t have them jeans on easy pay. We mailed her those jeans. … Only at QVC.”
As Gravel kicks off another year as one of QVC’s Q50 ambassadors — a woman over 50 who aims to empower her peers with shopping adventures and inspiring insights along the way — the mother of two vows to remain her authentic, honest self.
Along the way, she hopes to uplift spirits and deliver products that allow women to look and feel their best.
“I am the customer,” she explained. “I am a middle aged woman who is looking to have her butt look lifted. I’m looking for slimming looking jeans. So for me, it’s never been, ‘Oh, I’m selling you something.’ It’s been, ‘Let’s have fun. Let’s have some girlfriend time and let me make you be the best you can be.’”
Watch Belle by Kim Gravel on QVC Saturday, May 24, at 12 a.m. ET and throughout the day.
The actor turned politician shared the exciting news that he and his wife, Tessa Angermeier, are expecting their first baby together via Instagram on Tuesday, May 20.
“Arriving this fall,” Savage, 44, captioned two snaps showing the proud parents-to-be holding up an ultrasound scan of their impending arrival.
Savage’s former Boy Meets World costar Maitlin Ward, 48, was among the first to congratulate him in the comments. “ Congratulations both of you!” she commented on Savage’s post.
“Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Savage, we couldn’t be happier for you ‘guuuyyyss’ ,” an attendee captioned a carousel of photos of the happy couple, including a shot of Savage and Angermeier dressed in a tux and a white gown, respectively, with floral arrangements around them.
Last year, Savage lost his bid to run for Congress after campaigning as a Democrat in California’s 30th congressional district. He lost in a primary to fellow Democrat Laura Friedman.
Savage shot to fame as Cory Matthews on the hit ABC sitcom Boy Meets World, which aired between 1993 and 2000. He reprised the role on Disney Channel’s short-lived spinoff, Girl Meets World, which aired from 2014 to 2017.
“I’ve learned enough to know that you literally never know what can happen in this business,” he said. “Every day is a rollercoaster, and it’s always exciting. So, I say never say never.”
Despite his willingness to reprise his role as Cory, the actor decided not to participate in the rewatch podcast “Pod Meets World,” which his former costars — Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle — launched in June 2022.
Fishel — who played Savage’s love interest Topanga on the coming-of-age sitcom — told Us in July 2022 that the actor was initially part of the project.
“We have been talking about this podcast since 2019, it was Rider’s idea. When he brought it up, we talked about it all, the four of us,” she recalled. “At the end of our conversations, Ben said, ‘I just don’t think it’s for me.’ And we get it. So, we’re respecting his decision. And if he eventually wants to come on, we’ll leave that door open.”
Skai Jackson alleges that her ex-boyfriend, Deondre Burgin, “demanded” she drink bleach while pregnant with their 4-month-old son, Kasai, and regularly abused her.
Jackson, 23, was granted a temporary restraining order by the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, May 19, reports The Los Angeles Times.
In her request, the former Disney Channel actress described disturbing incidents of alleged abuse, including claims that Burgin physically attacked her in June 2024 after becoming “jealous” that she had received a text message from another man.
“He demanded that I drink bleach to kill our unborn child,” Jackson wrote in the court filing, per the Los Angeles Times and E! News, both of which obtained the docs.
“He then walked me to the car with a knife in his hand telling me to get in the driver seat and if I called out for help he would stab me in the stomach. He then called his friend … telling him he was about to kill me,” Jackson alleged. “He then told me to drive to the doctor to get an abortion. When I tried to, he asked me was I crazy and why would I want to kill our child.”
Jackson claimed she was subject to “weekly” abuse by Burgin between May and October 2024, per E! News, and that her ex once threatened her with a gun.
The Jessie and Bunk’d actress also described a more recent incident, which she said took place on Mother’s Day earlier this month.
“He grabbed me by the hair, slammed my head on the back seat window of my car and hit me in the face while holding my son,” Jackson alleged. “Deondre caused me to have a bloody nose. I don’t feel safe with my son being around him due to his violent history. He also said ‘F’ my child.”
A hearing for a permanent restraining order will take place on June 9, reports the L.A. Times.
In August 2024, Us Weeklyconfirmed Jackson had been arrested for alleged domestic battery after a fight with her then-boyfriend at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. The actress informed officers at the time that she and her boyfriend were engaged and that she was pregnant.
The actress was released from police custody hours later on a $20,000 bond and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office declined to file charges. Both Jackson and her boyfriend denied getting into a physical altercation.
Jackson announced the birth of her son in late January via Instagram. “Kasai ,” the Disney alum wrote alongside a photo showing off her newborn’s tiny feet clad in a green plaid onesie and matching socks.
The actress first shared news of her pregnancy in November 2024. “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects,” she said in a statement to People at the time. “My heart is so full!”
If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 for confidential support.
Wellness guru Masha Dmitrichenko is up to her same mysterious ways during the Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 premiere — but this time, she’s in a colder climate and her guests appear to be more connected to one another.
During the Wednesday, May 21, episode, Masha (Nicole Kidman) reveals that she is under investigation by the federal government for her controversial drug practices after being arrested during the season 1 finale for giving her California retreat guests’ psychedelic drugs initially without their consent.
Despite the stress, Masha is continuing to make strides in the use of psychedelics to see dead loved ones and process trauma — plus, she’s still seeing visions of her late daughter and keeping it a secret.
To recalibrate, Masha agrees to go to Zauberwald and team up with Helena (Lena Olin), who was vital in her own health journey a decade prior. While at the Austrian Alps retreat, Masha plans to guide nine new strangers on their own wellness journey using mushrooms and other experimental treatments.
“None of you are safe,” Masha ominously warns the group during their first meeting. She then pivots the plan and plays coy about her intentions for the retreat to Helena and Martin (Lucas Englander), the on-site scientist.
Scroll down to meet Masha’s new group of strangers:
Peter
Disney/Reiner Bajo
Peter (Henry Golding) kicks off his journey around a campfire with hikers claiming he is going to a “rustic cabin” next. His cover is blown when a driver from Zauberwald in a Mercedes picks him up in the woods. Throughout the episode, Peter tries to get a call out to see if his father, David (Mark Strong), is coming like he agreed but there’s no service.
Imogen
Disney/Reiner Bajo
Imogen (Annie Murphy) is quiet and a bit snarky when she rides the ski lift with Brian (Murray Bartlett). During their brief discussion in the tram, Imogen hints that she knows of Brian’s past, but he doesn’t recognize her. It is later revealed that Imogen came to the retreat to work on her issues with her mother, Violet (Christine Baranski), who she claims was “neglectful” and “smothering” and a “monster.”
Brian
Disney/Reiner Bajo
Brian is the third guest to arrive. His fear of heights is evident as he and Imogen ride up together on a ski lift to the lavish estate. Brian is frustrated after his luggage gets stuck on the lift and even after retrieving it one piece has gone missing, which causes him extra stress.
Agnes
Disney/Reiner Bajo
Agnes (Dolly De Leon) is mistaken for a worker by Brian upon his arrival since she’s wearing the employee uniform. Agnes doesn’t correct him and instead takes Brian’s luggage to his room. During the first day, it is revealed that Agnes is a nun that is famous.
Violet
Disney/Reiner Bajo
Unlike the other guests, Violet has been to Zauberwald before for various wellness treatments over the years. While she was supposed to come alone, Violet brought her new boy toy, the much younger Matteo (Aras Aydin), which angers her daughter, Imogen, even more.
Matteo
Disney/Frank Micelotta
While Imogen is surprised to meet her mom’s new boyfriend, Masha tells Am that Matteo must stay because he’s part of the “plan.” Matteo is foreign, unaware of Violet and Imogen’s family issues and is up for anything.
Wolfie
Disney/Reiner Bajo
Wolfie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) is a British musician who arrives at the retreat with her partner, Tina (King Princess), who has no idea what is about to happen.
Tina
Disney/Ser Baffo
When Tina gets to the retreat, she is happy about the accommodations but her tone changes when she sees a piano in her room. The instrument appears to be a sore spot for Tina, and it sends her into a spiral.
David
Disney/Reiner Bajo
David, Peter’s father, is spoken about but not seen for most of the premiere as he’s MIA. When Masha meets the guests on night one, she reveals that they can’t start the “protocol” until everyone is there, noting that David’s presence is necessary to proceed.
At the end of the episode, viewers learn that David is a billionaire who Masha knows from the past. Helena admits she is worried about what his arrival will do to Masha and the group, but Masha claims she’ll “remain in the present.” David, meanwhile, is in Munich working on a business deal which has delayed his arrival.
The FBI: International series finale took Fly Team leader Wes Mitchell far from Budapest — but not everyone on his team helped him from overseas.
Warning: Spoilers below from season 4, episode 22 of FBI: International.
During the Tuesday, May 20, finale, Wes (Jesse Lee Soffer) traveled to Tokyo to track down the second serial killer suspected of kidnapping at least six Americans. (The Fly Team in Budapest previously apprehended a Japanese assailant guilty of killing an American working as a prostitute but before they could find his partner, the criminal killed himself.)
Keeping in line with Japanese rules, Wes flew solo to Tokyo to solve the case. He teamed up with local detective Reiko Isokawa (Yoriko Haraguchi) to try and navigate the nuances of the country while saving the latest victim, an American named Hannah (Ferin Bergen), who was abducted during a cab ride following her shift as a hostess in Japan’s capital.
After his team back home did a deep dive into the first assailant’s search history, they found the mastermind behind the international killing spree: Lloyd Acuff (Tom Ashton).
When Wes and Reiko confronted Lloyd about his suspected crimes, he played coy about his whereabouts when Hannah was abducted. Wes decided to break a few rules — which got Reiko suspended — and had to go it alone to get his man.
CBS
Ultimately, Wes made a deal with Lloyd, who was later accused of killing more than 50 women, promising to let him die by cyanide in exchange for Hannah’s location. Once Hannah was safe, Wes gave Lloyd his “button” as promised but he took the cyanide out, leaving Lloyd to face the consequences of his actions.
While Wes solved the case and saved Hannah, the finale left a lot of questions unanswered. Unfortunately, since FBI: International was canceled in March, fans may never get the closure they want. (FBI: Most Wanted was also canceled.)
“Of course I’m sad the show must come to an end, but I want to thank Wolf Entertainment and CBS for everything: in particular the incredible tour of Europe!” FBI: International star Eva-Jane Willisexclusively told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “We have memories to last us a lifetime!”
Scroll down to see where each FBI: International character ended the series:
Wes Mitchell
Nelly Kiss/CBS
Wes joined the cast during season 4, and after leading the Fly Team for a year he solved the serial killer case in Tokyo almost single handedly. Once the case was closed, he flew to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he met his half-sister, Delila, after learning of her existence a few episodes prior.
Andre Raines
Nelly Kiss/CBS
Raines (Carter Redwood) has been part of the team since day one. After nearly dying on the job a few seasons prior, he threw his name in the ring for a promotion to GS14 alongside Cameron Vo (Vinessa Vidotto). The series ended with Raines and Vo standing together as they got the call about who won the spot.
Cameron Vo
CBS
After becoming Wes’ right-hand agent during season 4, Vo decided to go out for the GS14 promotion along with Raines. While she was worried it would ruin their friendship, fans saw the pair holding hands in solidarity as they prepared to learn their fate. The episode, however, didn’t reveal who was promoted.
Megan ‘Smitty’ Garretson
Nelly Kiss/CBS
Smitty (Willis) joined the team during season 2 as the FBI’s Europol liaison. In a surprising move, Smitty was noticeably absent from the finale.
Amanda Tate
CBS
Amanda (Christina Wolfe) became the team’s go-to tech girl during season 3 and a confidant for Wes throughout season 4. Even though she was stuck in Budapest, Amanda was an integral part of bringing down Lloyd in the finale.
The cast of Cheers is paying tribute to costar George Wendt after the actor died on the same day as the anniversary of the show’s finale.
Wendt’s family confirmed to Us Weekly on Tuesday, May 20, that the actor died peacefully in his sleep while at home. He was 76. “George was a doting family man, a well-loved friend and confidant to all of those lucky enough to have known him,” a rep for the family said. “He will be missed forever.”
Wendt’s death also corresponds with the 32nd anniversary of Cheers’ series finale airing on NBC. During the show’s 11-season run, Wendt was nominated for six Emmys and became a fan favorite as the lovable, beer-drinking every man named Norm, who frequented the Boston bar daily.
Scroll down to see which of the Cheers stars have paid tribute to Wendt:
Ted Danson
Danson, who played Sam Malone, told Us on Tuesday that he is “devastated to hear that Georgie is no longer with us.” The actor added, “I am sending all my love to [his wife] Bernadette and the children.”
He confessed, “It is going to take me a long time to get used to this. I love you, Georgie.”

John Ratzenberger
Ratzenberger, who played Cliff Clavin, told the outlet he was “heartbroken to hear about the passing of my friend George Wendt.”
He recalled working with Wendt for 11 years, sharing a stage “a lot of laughs and a front-row seat to one of television’s most beloved friendships.” Ratzenberger gushed, “George brought Norm to life with a subtle brilliance — the kind that made it look easy. That was his gift.”
Ratzenberger continued: “He was a true craftsman — humble, hilarious, and full of heart. What you saw on screen was exactly who he was off screen with impeccable comedic timing and a deep loyalty to those he loved. I’ll miss our conversations and the quiet moments of friendship that meant the most.”
He concluded by sending love to Wendt’s family, saying his “thoughts are with his wife Bernadette, their children, and everyone who loved him.”
After guest starring on a 1989 episode of Cheers, Kramer still remembers how kind Wendt was on set. “Was hard to hear of his passing … First met George Wendt on the set of Cheers … One of the warmest, funniest guys I’ve ever come across,” Kramer wrote via Instagram. “Welcoming as the star he was, incredibly giving as an actor in rehearsal (and when the cameras were rolling).”
He recalled Wendt being “the first one to make sure I had a beer in my hand at the end of the night.” Kramer continued, “We shared a history of work with the Calgary Stampeders and exchanged many stories over the week … Cheers, indeed … Many thanks for the laughs and the education … RIP.”
Rhea Perlman

Perlman gushed about her friend in a statement shared to Us on Tuesday.
“George Wendt was the sweetest, kindest man I ever met. It was impossible not to like him. As Carla, I was often standing next to him, as Norm always took the same seat at the end of the bar, which made it easy to grab him and beat the crap out of him at least once a week. I loved doing it and he loved pretending it didn’t hurt. What a guy! I’ll miss him more than words can say,” the actress wrote.
Australian OnlyFans star Annie Knight revealed how her body is coping after sleeping with 583 men in six hours.
Speaking to Us Weekly in the late hours of Tuesday, May 20, after achieving her goal on Sunday, May 18, Knight, 28, confirmed she experienced “bleeding” which resulted in blood tests and further medical testing in the days that followed her challenge.
“I’m not doing very well, I’ve been bleeding a lot since the challenge,” Knight, who noted that she suffers from endometriosis, told Us. “It was definitely a bit raw down there and I did get a small cut.”
Knight added that she was unsure if the bleeding was a result of the challenge or her endometriosis, defined by the Mayo Clinic as a condition where “tissue that is similar to the inner lining of the uterus grows outside” it.
Knight, based in Queensland’s Gold Coast, shared via her Instagram Stories six hours prior to speaking to Us that she had been admitted into hospital. Posting a photo of herself wearing a blue hospital gown, the influencer peered up into her camera lens solemnly.
“I guess 583 guys in a day isn’t that good for your body,” Knight wrote over the Story.
Annie Knight’s Instagram StoryCourtesy of Annie Knight/Instagram
The digital creator told Us that despite the pain she was experiencing, she was determined to get back to her best soon. “I’ll definitely survive but it is quite painful and unpleasant at the moment,” Knight explained.
In an earlier interview with Us on Tuesday, Knight said she was “shocked by how easy” the challenge proved. “Doing 583 in a day is quite a lot so I was a little bit worried that I was gonna really struggle with it, because the most I’ve done before that was 24 in a day,” she explained.
Knight received 2,000 registrations for Sunday’s event — where she requested that all participants wear condoms — and was hoping 200 people would show up. When that number more than doubled, Knight recalled being “absolutely stoked.”
During Knight’s first interview with Us, she noted that she doesn’t let the hate she receives for her sexual activity bother her.
“People seem to, like, get so uptight about it. At the end of the day, these men just want to have sex. God forbid, a man has sex. And I’m providing a service for free,” she said. “It really upsets me when I see people coming after the guys and being so mean about the guys that showed up, because I feel quite protective of them, and so when I see all these negative comments toward them, it really, like, upsets me.”
Knight shared insight into how the day rolled out via a video posted to her Instagram grid on Tuesday, revealing that she took her dog Billy for a walk in the morning to ensure her pup felt energized ahead of being “home by himself for ten hours.”
The clip also included footage of Knight getting herself and her space ready ahead of her guests arriving, with customised pink balaclavas created for men to wear and maintain anonymity.
Per photos published by TMZ on Tuesday, May 20, a boat allegedly owned by Belichick, 73, underwent a recent paint job and renaming, fuelling speculation that the couple are set to walk down the aisle.
According to the outlet, the vessel was once labelled “Eight Rings,” which may have nodded to the football coach’s total Super Bowl ring count. The boat’s title was recently changed to “One Plus Eight Rings.”
Us Weekly has reached out to a representative for Belichick for comment.
The news followed Hudson, 23, reportedly sharing the couple’s relationship status earlier this week. In a New York Times article published earlier on Tuesday, journalist Katherine Rosman stated that the former cheerleader “told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married.”
The article detailed that the journalist traveled to four cities across two states to capture a profile on Hudson, who went public with her romance with Belichick in October 2024.
On April 29, PageSix published a photo of Hudson wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger while attending an American Museum of Natural History luncheon in New York City. The photo showed the influencer clasping her hands while leaning on a table and looking at Belichick as he spoke to fellow guests.
The pair’s relationship was put under the microscope in light of Belichick’s now-infamous interview on CBS Sunday Morning, which aired on April 27, during which Hudson interjected from off camera when Belichick was asked how the couple met. “We’re not talking about this,” Hudson was filmed telling the crew.
Weeks later, journalist Pablo Torre dropped an episode of his “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast which raised accusations that Hudson has been lying about her age. The podcast also explored allegations that she had been banned from football facilities at the University of North Carolina.
Carolina Athletics issued a statement to Us on May 9 that rejected Torre’s reporting.
“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” the statement to Us read. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.” (Jordon is reportedly serving as a professional representative for Bilichick.)
Further controversy hit the couple just last week when Fox Sports radio host Colin Cowherd claimed via X on Sunday, May 18, that Belichick’s family is allegedly concerned about his will as a result of the coach’s relationship with Hudson.
The Voice has officially found its winner for season 27.
During the season finale on Tuesday, May 20, host Carson Daly gathered alongside finalists Renzo (Team John Legend), Lucia Flores-Wiseman (Team Adam Levine), Jadyn Cree (Team Michael Bublé), Jaelen Johnston (Team Kelsea Ballerini) and Adam David (also Team Michael) to see who would be crowned the next winner of the NBC reality series.
After millions of votes from across the country were counted, Adam David was announced the winner of The Voice.
The results come after the finalists had the opportunity to perform two songs each on Monday, May 19.
Jadyn — who is the daughter of Season 25 artist Bryan Olesen — brought the ‘80s back with her performance of “Come On Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners.
“You’re a star,” Michael shared after the performance. “Everything you are just comes through. You lead with light.”
Meanwhile, John praised Renzo’s rendition of Lenny Kravitz’s “Fly Away” at the start of the show. “We heard so much texture and beauty at the beginning of the performance,” he explained. “You’re the show starter this week.”
Adam David and Michael BubléGriffin Nagel/NBC
Although Jaelen accidentally flubbed some of the words during his performance of “What Was I Thinkin'” by Dierks Bentley, his coach offered supportive comments during the live telecast.
“I know you had a moment early on when you got nervous, but the way you recovered is all that matters,” Kelsea shared. “You really showed up. I’m so proud of you.”
Regardless of what the votes would reveal later in the week, Adam praised Lucia’s journey on the show after she performed songs from Pink Floyd and Billie Eilish.
“I’ve wanted you to stay pure throughout this competition,” he said during the live show, “and that’s exactly what you did.”
For Michael, who was the only coach with two team members in the finals, he also offered his support to Adam David during the telecast. “America, go and vote,” Michael pleaded. “This young man has worked his butt off. He’s one of my favorite singers.”
During Tuesday’s finale, Michael and Adam David took the stage together for a special performance of “The Weight” by The Band. The collaboration proved the pair built a special bond during the competition.
The winning artist of The Voice will receive the grand prize of a recording contract. Last season’s winner, Sofronio Vasquez, was signed by Republic Records and is currently on tour.
Season 28 of The Voice — featuring coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg and Bublé — will premiere this fall on NBC. Fans can stream old episodes anytime on Peacock.
In an essay penned by Violet, 19, and published on Sunday, May 18, by Yale University’s student-run Yale Global Health Review, the teenager detailed why she and Garner, 53, clashed as devastating wildfires affected the family’s community that month.
“I spent the January fires in Los Angeles arguing with my mother in a hotel room,” Violet, whose essay was titled A Chronically Ill Earth: COVID Organizing as a Model Climate Response in Los Angeles, began. “She was shell-shocked, astonished at the scale of destruction in the neighborhood where she raised myself and my siblings.”
Violet, whose father is Garner’s ex-husband Ben Affleck, explained that she was shocked by her mother’s response to the fires, which lasted for 24 days and resulted in more than 29 fatalities.
“I was surprised at her surprise: as a lifelong Angelena and climate-literate member of generation Z, my question had not been whether the Palisades would burn but when,” Violet wrote before adding that her younger sibling, Samuel Affleck, was also involved in the discussion.
Detailing how she had encountered several people who believed the wildfires were “a burst of bad luck,” Violet wrote, “What, my little brother asked, did global warming have to do with the speed of the wind?”
The passionate change maker, who is a first-year student at Davenport College and spoke out about Los Angeles face mask bans during a Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting in July, further noted, “Hopefully, most of us understand the climate crisis better than my little brother.”
Garner shared rare public insight into her relationship with Violet when her daughter became a high-school graduate last year. Taking to Instagram to share a carousel of photos and videos, the actress was seen crying in various locations including Violet’s graduation ceremony and an airplane. “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate,” Garner captioned the celebratory post.
In addition to Violet and Samuel, 13, Garner also shares Fin, 16, with Affleck, 52.
During her July speech, Violet also candidly detailed her own health struggles, revealing that she contracted “a post-viral condition in 2019.” Violet confirmed, as seen in an X clip of the speech that was shared at the time, “I’m OK now, but I saw firsthand that medicine does not always have answers to the consequences of even minor viruses. The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown that into sharper relief.”
Her brave declaration came less than three months after her high-school graduation.
It was all hands on deck during the FBI: Most Wantedseries finale — but did everyone make it out unscathed?
Warning: Spoilers below from season 6, episode 22 of FBI: Most Wanted.
During the Tuesday, May 20, finale, the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force, led by SSA Remy Scott (Dylan McDermott) hunted down two former government workers who were involved in a drive-by shooting and paint attack on the Bureau of Government Overreach (BOGO), killing a woman.
Upon further investigation, the team learned that the shooting was a hit so that two separate rogue government operatives could steal data and sell it to the highest bidder.
Remy turned to his agents Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg), Hana Gibson (Keisha Castle-Hughes), Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge) and Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) to track down the assailants before they could sell the data — called an “internet kill switch” — and give it to the Russians, who would have used it for a terrorist attack.
The finale ended on a high note with a celebratory team dinner after its abrupt cancellation earlier this year caused an uproar among fans. CBS announced in March that the FBI spinoff, which premiered in 2020, would not be returning for a seventh season. (FBI: International was also canceled.)

“It’s bittersweet, but we are invigorated and determined to close out season 6 with hard work and love and give you the best season yet,” Castle-Hughes exclusively told Us Weekly at the time, promising this season was for the fans.

Remy Scott

After hinting earlier this season that he was getting too old for the job, Remy told his team that he was officially retiring to spend time with the “love of my life,” Abby (Susan Misner). The couple hosted the Fugitive Task Force at their new bar, The Muster Room, and toasted to the end of an era.
The series concluded with Remy lighting the sign outside the bar and raising a glass of champagne with his team, saying, “To family!”
Sheryll Barnes
Mark Schafer/CBS
Sheryll was offered the position of Task Force Supervisor in Washington, D.C. earlier this season, which would bring her closer to her two children. While fans thought she accepted the role due to a closed-door conversation she and Remy had at the beginning of the finale, that wasn’t the case.
During the Muster Room’s soft launch, Remy announced Sheryll as his successor, the new head of the New York Fugitive Task Force. He handed her a pair of handcuffs to make it official. Sheryll, who is one of the two original members of the team, had Remy’s badge and shield framed as a thank you.
Hana Gibson
Mark Schafer/CBS
Hana is the second original task force member and the resident tech master. After toying with the idea of whether she should reunite with Ethan (Michael Raymond-James) — who lied about his drug problem — Hana revealed they were, in fact, back together. She told her friends at the dinner that Ethan was officially done with rehab and that they were going to move in together.
Ray Cannon
Mark Schafer/CBS
Amid all the drama and fighting bad guys, Ray took a moment to tell Nina the good news about his wife Cora‘s (Caroline Harris) pregnancy. Ray, who joined the team during season 4, was beaming with pride as he showed off the ultrasound. Ray is already the stepfather to Cora’s son, Caleb (Ja’Siah Young), but this is their first baby together.
Nina Chase
Mark Schafer/CBS
Nina was the newest member of the task force coming over from 26 Fed (and FBI) during season 5. In addition to helping thwart a potential cyber war, Nina made amends with her father, Jackson (John Finn), after butting heads for years.
Nina began the finale episode in Houston where she helped her sister, Tink (Hannah Adrian), pack up her things and get ready for a new life in Dallas without her deadbeat husband. Before catching a plane back to New York, Nina had a heart-to-heart with her father — who basically left her to raise her sister after their mother died — and he apologized for his past actions.
“You know when I’m happiest? When somebody asks me what you do,” her father gushed. “I am so dang proud of you.” The two hugged and cried together before she returned to her team.

Billy Ray Cyrus is feeling the rage of destructive weather sweeping through Tennessee.
The singer, 63, took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, May 20, to share footage of rain and hail coming down across his Nashville home.
“Look at that, oh my gosh,” Cyrus said from behind the camera as he panned across an outdoor space on his property. “Showing some hail falling from the sky. It is a tornado, oh my goodness.”
The video also captured fallen leaves and shaking branches due to the intensity of wind gusts which resulted in multiple tornadoes rolling across Mississippi, Tennessee and Ohio Valleys on the eighth consecutive day of severe weather, per Fox Weather.
Per the outlet, widespread tornado warnings were issued that day.
Cyrus’ video arrived as a stark comparison to the idyllic backdrop that has played home to the musician’s budding romance with Elizabeth Hurley. Less than one month prior, Hurley, 59, shared a video of herself and Cyrus riding an off-road vehicle together across Cyrus’ $5 million Nashville farm.
Billy Ray Cyrus’ Instagram StoryCourtesy of Billy Ray Cyrus/Instagram
A source told Us Weekly exclusively as part of a recent cover story that the pair “are enjoying life together and wanted to make it public.” (Hurley and Cyrus hard launched the romance via a joint Instagram post on April 20 that showed Cyrus planting a kiss on Hurley’s cheek as they cuddled against a wooden fence.)
Cyrus even shared a photo of the Us cover via Instagram on Sunday, May 18, captioning the snap, “Saw this at Target ” and captioning Hurley on the shot of the magazine.
Asked on April 24 whether the relationship was genuine, Cyrus said on Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show, “She’s a great human being. If all we ever were [was] the friends that we are… I would take that.” He continued: “She’s so impressively brilliant.”
Cyrus also delved into details on how the pair got to know one another. “We did a film two years ago down in the Caribbean and we did very few scenes together, but the couple times we were in the same scene,” Cyrus recalled, referring to 2022’s Christmas in Paradise. “There was a chemistry there that [I] felt. We just laughed, and it was at a time [when] I wasn’t laughing a lot and I found out the oddest thing.”
The couple, however, lost touch once filming wrapped.
“Then two more years of life went by, and it was this evolution that some might’ve looked at and certainly I felt like, ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher for me?’” Cyrus explained. “At a certain point it was like, ‘You can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you in the gut.”
FBI has been renewed for an eighth season — but based on the season 7 finale, one main cast member might not be returning.
Warning: Spoilers below from season 7, episode 22, of FBI.
The season 7 finale, which aired on Tuesday, May 20, was a giant game of cat and mouse and nonstop action. The episode began with ASAC Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto) going to an undercover FBI meeting location to speak with a defense department employee named Kevin Saxton (Kevin Sussman), who claimed to have knowledge of an attack on 26 Fed.
While trying to figure out if the intel was legit, the building was attacked by individuals wearing FBI jackets. Jubal was the only survivor from the shooting, fleeing to a nearby bodega.
Before he could call his team for backup, an FBI agent came into the store claiming she heard his distress signal over the radio. When Jubal noticed her wrist tattoos, he tackled her through the window, and they fought for her gun.
Jubal narrowly survived the second attack and was able to identify the Forefront — a terrorist group who has infiltrated the FBI — as the people behind the attempts on his life.
When Jubal made it back to 26 Fed to debrief his boss SAC Isobel Castille (Alana De La Garza), their superior ADIC Reynolds (Ben Shenkman) made it seem like Jubal could be the traitor. Deputy Assistant Director Simon Keane (Campbell Scott), meanwhile, watched the interrogation beside Isobel and seemingly agreed with her that Jubal was clean.
Bennett Raglin/CBS
Throughout the episode, Jubal and Isobel worked to figure out what the Forefront wanted and which FBI agents among them were compromised. As Isobel went to tell Reynolds that there are incendiary devices in some of the FBI-issued phones, the office blew up, killing Reynolds.
While Special Agent Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) was inspecting the scene and trying to get a pulse for Isobel, Keane and another agent came into the room. She managed to hide but overheard Keane saying the mission was a success in killing Reynolds and Isobel was just collateral damage.
Keane then went to Jubal and the rest of his team and put them on leave, which he was able to do as the interim ADIC. He claimed his reasoning was in hopes of figuring out who in fact was pulling the strings.
Maggie, meanwhile, told the rest of the agents that Isobel was one of the agents killed with the phone bombs and then passed a note to Special Agent Stuart Scola (John Boyd).
Bennett Raglin/CBS
When Maggie and her partner, Omar Adom “OA” Zidan (Zeeko Zaki), met up with Scola and his new partner, Dani Rhodes (Emily Alabi), in an abandoned part of the subway, she revealed that Isobel survived the explosion.
Isobel, Jubal, the four main special agents and their tech team agreed to work together to take down the Forefront and Keane, who they were confident was on the inside. Isobel then showed up to Keane’s office to call his bluff and lay a trap.
Isobel revealed that Jubal’s team was still on the hunt for the traitors and gave Keane their location to stop his efforts. When the men showed up to take them out, Jubal’s agents were ready, picking off one dirty cop after the other.
Once they had Keane’s right-hand man in custody, Isobel flipped the script, arresting Keane as the traitor among them.
The episode concluded with Isobel and Jubal reuniting with their team back at 26 Fed to celebrate their massive win. During Isobel’s speech, she began to slur her words and repeated herself several times before passing out and falling to the ground. (She never saw a doctor after the explosion knocked her out.)
“She doesn’t have a pulse,” Maggie told Jubal, who yelled for help before the credits rolled.
FBI has been renewed for season 8 — FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: Internationalwere cancelled in March — so fans will have to wait until fall to see if Isobel survives.
Tony Romo thinks Travis Kelce’s high-profile relationship with girlfriend Taylor Swift can only benefit the Kansas City Chiefs tight end — both on and off the field.
Romo, 45, who played 13 seasons as quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys and now works as an analyst for CBS Sports, argued that Kelce’s life has actually slowed down since he and Swift, 35, started dating.
“People won’t even realize this, but he’s probably doing less than he used to when he was younger,” Romo exclusively told Us Weekly via his partnership with Skechers. “If you get your picture taken going to dinner with your superstar girlfriend, it looks like you’re going out or something. No, he just went to dinner. Almost as if he’s married, going to dinner with his wife or something. He didn’t get photographed when he was going out with his buddies all the time.”
Romo continued, “He’s far less out there. He’s doing far less things than when he was younger. It’s just the fact that if you’re written about a lot and it’s not about football, some people are always going to think that it plays a role. But the truth is that it can be a net positive if you look at it closely.”
Romo expects Kelce, 35, to be just fine after a statistically underwhelming 2024 season, which saw the 10-time Pro Bowler earn career lows in both touchdowns and receptions.
“That was his first whole season being under that microscope,” Romo said about Kelce and Swift, who started dating in September 2023. “It was the first full season and offseason where the public and the world knew. Like anybody, we all learn through experience and we get wiser.”
After all, Romo knows a thing or two about the pressures of being an elite athlete who is dating a pop star. The former quarterback dated Jessica Simpson from 2007 to 2009 during his time with the Cowboys.
“Not that [Kelce] has to do anything,” Romo explained. “The guy is a [future] Hall of Famer who has played at the highest level. He’s won Super Bowls. He’s made some of the biggest plays in the most clutch situations ever. I think he’ll figure things out real quick, even if there was something to figure out. I think everyone should just put their trust in him.”
Romo added, “And I think he’s got himself a wonderful, wonderful girlfriend.”
These days, Romo and his wife, Candice Crawford, are the parents of three sons: Hawkins, 13, Rivers, 11, and Jones, 7.
As a dad on-the-go, Romo has his new Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins®: Max Cushioning Glide-Step® sneakers to keep him on his toes.
Skechers
“Me and my wife are taxi cab drivers these days,” Romo joked. “Going from practice to practice to pickup to games. It’s a blast. It’s really one of the great times in my life doing all of this. That’s where Skechers works because I have the slip-on shoe and can be like, ‘Oh, gotta go to the next one. Oh! Didn’t realize we had another one. Slip it on and go.’”
Romo added, “It’s been a really enjoyable time for us.”
During a Tuesday, May 20, Cannes ceremony that saw Spacey, 65, awarded a lifetime achievement award, the actor took to the stage to relay his thoughts and appreciation, with his words captured via an X video shared that day by Variety.
“I say to you all the most positive vibes, and as my friend Elton John once said, the reason this means so much to me [is] because I’m still standing,” Spacey, who began to tear up during one portion of his speech, said before repeating the title and lyric of John’s 1983 hit single. “I’m still standing.”
Spacey, who has been the subject of sexual assault claims since 2017 when Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rappalleged that Spacey made sexual advances toward him at a 1986 party, also acknowledged the late Kirk Douglas during his speech.
“My thanks again … Kirk Douglas and his friends and tonight for all of you, for making me feel so welcome,” Spacey told the crowd, who applauded him at several points throughout the proceedings. “I would like you all to raise your glasses and just toast to friendship. Which can get us through anything in this life.”
It was not the first time Spacey had expressed public gratitude over support received from John, 78, and John’s husband, David Furnish. After John and Furnish, 62, both gave witness testimonies on behalf of Spacey during his 2022 trial in the U.K., Spacey said on Uncensored with Piers Morgan that the gesture meant the world to him. (Spacey went to trial after sexual offences were alleged by four men during Spacey’s time as artistic director of London’s Old Vic theater between 2001 and 2013. John’s evidence contradicted one of Spacey’s accuser’s accounts, and in 2023, Spacey was acquitted of all offences.)
Per a report published by The Independent in June 2024, Spacey told Morgan, 60, “You actually just reminded me that Elton was the first email I got on October 30th of 2017 – after the [Anthony] Rapp story had come out – saying, ‘We love you. Whatever you need, we’re here for you.’”
Rapp’s allegations, the first to publicly accuse Spacey of any sexual wrongdoing, claimed that Spacey laid “down on top” of him in a bedroom at the 1986 party and “was trying to seduce” him. (Spacey responded to the allegations at the time by apologizing to Rapp, 53, for the alleged misconduct via a statement. Spacey also claimed in the statement that he did “not remember the encounter.”)
Spacey added that John and Furnace had provided him ongoing support. “Elton has been there, and David has been there, ever since,” Spacey told Morgan. “What’s most interesting about the fact that they testified in the trial in the U.K. is that I didn’t ask them.”
Spacey concluded, “That’s the kind of friends that I have been very fortunate to have in my life.”
