Amid his ongoing feud with Sean “Diddy” Combs, fellow rapper 50 Cent reacted to the accusations that certain fans were allegedly paid to show their support for the embattled entertainer outside the New York City courthouse amid his ongoing sex trafficking trial.
“Diddy paying people to wear ‘Free Diddy’ shirts is diabolical, but $20 a hour [sic] ain’t bad,” 50 Cent, 49, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, May 18. “I might go throw that on for an hour tomorrow. LOL.”
The rapper (real name Curtis Jackson) also uploaded news footage of several individuals wearing black T-shirts that read, “Free Diddy” or “Free Puff.” The group was standing near the courthouse where Diddy, 55, is currently standing trial. (The courtroom proceedings began earlier this week.)
Diddy has not confirmed whether his team was, in fact, paying random fans a stipend to wear supportive merchandise. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.
The disgraced music mogul was arrested in September 2024 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied all allegations against him and has pleaded not guilty.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo told Us in a statement at the time. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal.”
Years before Diddy stood trial, he had a longstanding feud with 50 Cent. Back in 2006, 50 Cent claimed in his “The Bomb” that Diddy had knowledge of the 1997 murder of the Notorious B.I.G.
“Who shot Biggie Smalls? We don’t get ‘em / They gonna kill us all,” 50 Cent raps. “Man, Puffy know who hit that n****.”
50 Cent has never had proof of Diddy’s involvement in the murder. Diddy, for his part, has frequently denied that he had any information about the killer over the years.
The rap stars’ feud continued to escalate, leading up to Diddy’s misconduct scandal and arrest.
“Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t,” 50 Cent told People in October 2024, discussing his frequent comments about Diddy. “It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years.”
He added, “Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff. But away from that, I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because this is not my style.’”

Tragedy struck the reality show for the first time in 2013 when season 1 star Henry Foots died. Five years later, Lexington County Coroner’s Office in South Carolina confirmed to Us Weekly that James “L.B.” Bonner died by suicide.
“On the show, viewers saw L.B. struggle with obesity following a tragic accident that claimed his right leg. Even though he once weighed 650 pounds, L.B.’s hard work and dedication helped get him in the 200-pound range,” the network said in a statement in August 2018 following his untimely death. “His spirit and determination as displayed through his story, quickly made L.B. a fan favorite, and family and friends have taken to L.B.’s Facebook page to commemorate his life. TLC was deeply saddened to hear of L.B.’s passing and is honored to have shared his honest and courageous story on My 600-lb Life.”
That same month, fellow season 6 star Fleming died at the age of 50, with her daughter, Danielle, telling TMZ that “she was sick and her body was tired and her body just gave out.”

It’s safe to say that most Hollywood A-listers will happily go under the knife to fend off signs of aging. From botox to face lifts, there are so many quick solutions for wrinkles — though they’re often costly, painful and to some, morally compromising. However, many celebrities have found next-level skincare products from vegan serums to LED masks that will keep you looking younger for longer and fight wrinkles naturally with the power of good skincare.
We tracked down what 16 celebs from Jen Aniston to Nicole Kidman are actually using for youthful skin, without cosmetic surgery. And we have some additional skincare tips at the end, too, that will help keep our skin healthy in all conditions.
16 Celebrities Fighting Wrinkles — And How They’re Doing It
1. Naomi Campbell: At 54, supermodel Naomi Campbell is simply ageless. And it’s (at least partially) due to her skincare routine, which includes Augustinus Bader’s The Rich Cream. According to InStyle, Campbell also uses other products from the brand, too, so she’s definitely a fan.
“I’ve been wearing sunscreen everyday since I was in my very early 20s,” Lopez told Glamour. “You should start at a very young age.”
4. Julianne Moore: Of course 64-year-old actor Julianne Moore has a skincare regimen, which includes Revision Neck Firming Cream to help prevent the skin on her neck from sagging.
“My skin-care routine has gotten more and more complicated as I get older,” she joked in an interview with Vogue.
5. Olivia Wilde: Olivia Wilde uses True Botanicals Vitamin C Booster a few times a week because it keeps her skin looking bright and fends off signs of aging.
“Overall, my beauty approach is low key, but thoughtful,” she explained during a 2017 interview with Into The Gloss. “I don’t obsess over beauty but I try to be kind to my skin. I plan on using it for another 60 years or so.”
6. Kim Kardashian: Yes, even celebrities like Kim Kardashian are fighting wrinkles. She frequently uses CurrentBody Skin’s LED mask, which may boost collagen and keep the skin looking younger, longer.
“You can find me right here… Face, neck and hand red lights for the win!” she posted to Instagram Stories in 2023, according to Marie Claire. “I’m obsessed with these — I gave them as gifts this year.”
7. Sophia Bush: When Sophia Bush isn’t busy acting or advocating for the environment, she’s stocking up on skincare. Her secret is A313’s Vitamin A Cream, which she buys in bulk whenever she’s in France. Alexa Chung recommended it to her, The Sun reports, and it’s been her go-to product ever since.
8. Jennifer Aniston: To maintain her forever-young look, Jennifer Aniston regularly uses Tatcha’s Serum Stick. In fact, she carries it with her on The Morning Show set to keep her complexion looking glowy and dewy during filming. It also protects the from UV damage and wrinkles, so it’s a total win.
9. Gwyneth Paltrow: Goop queen Gwyneth Paltrow is obviously loyal to her brand, but clearly, it’s working for her. She particularly likes her All-In-One Face Cream because it keeps the skin hydrated, which in turn, fights wrinkles.
10. Brooke Shields: Step one in Brooke Shields’ skincare routine is the True Botanicals Chebula Active Serum. In addition to being completely vegan, its anti-aging properties keep your skin free of fine lines and wrinkles.
“[It’s] the first product I apply to my skin,” she told Prevention. “It just really skins into my skin so well and chebula is a very, very powerful antioxidant for the skin.”
11. Nicole Kidman: Kim K isn’t the only light therapy fan — Oscar-winning actor Nicole Kidman religiously uses a Solowave red light therapy wand before making red carpet appearances. It effectively erases fine lines, which is a total godsend when you’re about to be professionally photographed.
“It eats off the top dead layer of your skin, [providing] an automatic refresh,” she raves.
13. Courteney Cox: Courteney Cox’s says her beloved Dermalogica Retinol Serum “smooths out your skin texture.” So if you, too, are noticing fine lines on your face, this could be the answer to all (or most) of your problems.
“As you get older and start seeing wrinkles and fine lines,” she admitted, “it’s so important to moisturize and use great products that really hydrate and take care of your skin.”
15. Halle Berry: Actor Halle Berry attributes her perfect skin to Olga Lorencin Ageless Facial in a Box, which includes two moisturizing products that smooth out wrinkles. She also says eating healthy likely helps maintain her youthful complexion — so eat your vegetables!
Even if you aren’t a celebrity, when it comes to fighting off wrinkles with skincare, there are a few things you should know.
1. Staying moisturized is key to erasing wrinkles, because moisturizer keeps your skin hydrated and line-free. This is also the case for eye or neck creams, which target the skin in those areas, specifically.
2. Using SPF is also key to keeping your skin youthful, because it blocks UV rays which penetrate the skin. Skin that’s overly exposed to the sun can look leathery and saggy, so it’s important to start using sunscreen daily at a young age.
3. Light therapy has become increasingly popular, because it increases the elasticity in your skin.
4. Vitamin C boosts collagen production. This protects the skin from becoming damaged, while brightening and tightening it, too.

My 600-Lb. Life has changed the lives of many of its most memorable stars throughout its tenure — and the long-running series shows no signs of slowing down.
The reality show premiered on TLC in February 2012, documenting the journeys of obese patients as they attempt to lose weight via significant lifestyle change and surgical intervention. Bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan (a.k.a. Dr. Now) oversees the process, which often involves developing new eating patterns and undergoing an approved gastric bypass procedure if and when certain criteria are met.
“It just happened,” Nowzaradan told Houstonia magazine in October 2017 of how the series came to be. “I was operating on a lot of 600-pound people.”
The surgeon hoped that the show would be helpful not only to his patients but also to viewers and his colleagues.
“We continue to try to provide education for everyone. That’s the reason I started the television series, [which] was to make an impression on the medical community that they should take care of these patients,” he explained at the 2016 ObesityHelp National Conference. “Another reason important to me was to have a show that provided inspiration for people and for the medical community with my hope to change [biased] opinions about morbidly obese people.”

Morgan, 39, was questioned on Monday, May 19, about a 2018 incident where Diddy, 55, allegedly hit her with a wooden hanger. Cassie, 38, said in her own testimony that the alleged altercation ended her friendship with Morgan. “We were best friends,” Morgan told the jury. “We don’t speak anymore.”
Of the alleged incident, Morgan claimed that Diddy hit her in a fit of anger over another relationship Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura) was having at the time. “I had a concussion. I was dizzy. I vomited a few times,” she recalled.
She went on to claim that Cassie and Diddy asked her to sign a nondisclosure agreement for $30,000 after the alleged incident. She told the jury she signed the NDA and did not speak to Cassie again.
Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied all the allegations against him.
On Monday, Morgan also claimed that she witnessed Diddy physically abuse Cassie, who dated the mogul off and on from 2007 to 2018. “She lost her confidence big-time,” Morgan said of the singer. “She lost her spark.”
Morgan also corroborated Cassie’s previous claims that Diddy had a major hand in the success of her music, saying, “Sometimes she’d be frustrated because she’d be working on music and it would never work out. He was in charge of her career.”
During direct questioning by Assistant U.S. Attorney Meredith Foster, Morgan alleged she saw Diddy hit Cassie on two separate occasions: once in the Hollywood Hills and once in Jamaica. After the Hollywood Hills incident, Morgan claimed she hid with Cassie on the steps of Diddy’s neighbor’s house for 20 to 30 minutes as Diddy and an employee drove around looking for them.
In Jamaica, Morgan allegedly saw Diddy drag Cassie on the floor by her hair. At one point, she “hit her head on the brick” and was motionless for 20 to 30 seconds. “I thought she was knocked out,” Morgan recalled.
Upon waking up, Cassie ran off into a wooded area. When Morgan found her, they hid in a ditch together for “what felt like hours.”
Morgan also testified about the aftermath of the 2016 incident where Diddy assaulted Cassie at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, surveillance video of which was shown to the jury. After the incident, Cassie returned to her apartment where Morgan was staying with her. Morgan said Cassie had a black eye.
About 30 minutes after Cassie’s return, Diddy allegedly arrived at the apartment and started trying to break down a door with a hammer. Cassie was “numb,” Morgan claimed, adding, “I don’t think she would’ve cared if he came in and killed her.”
Morgan noted that she was one of the only friends in Cassie’s life at the time who was not an employee of Diddy. “Combs controlled everything,” she claimed, adding that she felt like Cassie would come away from hangouts with Diddy’s entourage feeling more positive about their relationship. “You could tell they were convincing her it was OK,” Morgan alleged.
Cassie testified in court for four days last week, sharing details about the hotel incident and other alleged abuse by Diddy. She previously sued him in November 2023, alleging that he physically and sexually abused her throughout their 11-year relationship.
Diddy denied her allegations in a statement via his lawyer at the time. “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,” the mogul’s lawyer Ben Brafman said.
One day after the lawsuit, Cassie and Diddy settled the suit out of court. Cassie revealed last week that the settlement was for $20 million.
Six months later, CNN published an edited version of the 2016 hotel assault video. Diddy issued a public apology for his actions in the video via Instagram in May 2024.

In the game of privacy, Jessica Biel isn’t sure if she’s winning or losing.
Last summer, the actress, 43, faced a difficult decision of whether or not to bring her son Silas, 10, to the U.S. Open, where he would likely be photographed for the world to see.
“My son was 9 at the time, and he’s a huge tennis fan — that’s his sport, that’s what he plays,” Biel told InStyle in an interview published Monday, May 19. “We had this opportunity, and we talked about it. We talked about photographers. You know, ‘Are you comfortable with that?’”
Because Silas was still a kid, Biel — who also shares Phineas, 4, with husband Justin Timberlake — believed her oldest son couldn’t make the decision on his own. However, the mother-son duo could at least “discuss what’s his opinion around it.”
Ultimately, the pair headed to Queens, New York, in August 2024 for day four of the U.S. Open tennis championships.
Nearly a year later, Biel still hopes she made the right decision in letting Silas go despite the intense media presence.
“You really want to give your kids every experience,” she explained to the publication. “I don’t know if it was the right decision, to be honest with you, but he and I had a good time. … It’s scary every time. But it’s also their life. And so it’s this really tricky, tricky thing to figure out, what’s appropriate.”

Timberlake, 44, and Biel have tried their best to keep their kids out of the spotlight. While both parents share glimpses of their children on special occasions like Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, stepping out for red carpets or major public events as a family are a rarity.
“It’s a tricky one, a tricky balance,” Biel said. “We do really try hard not to expose them in a way that they’re not comfortable with.”
On Mother’s Day, Timberlake paid tribute to his wife by sharing a photo of Biel playing with one of her sons. “Happy Mother’s Day to the superwoman who puts up with all the boys,” he wrote via his Instagram Story. “We love you so much mama.”
As both Silas and Phineas get older, Biel admits she’s not sure what they will end up pursuing in their professional lives.
At the same time, Biel said Silas has already shown natural abilities of being able to succeed in the entertainment industry.
“If he was a kid actor, he’d probably work all the time,” she confessed. “And when you’re 18 years old, you want to be professional? Have at it. That’s your choice. That’s what I would like to hold on to, if possible, for him, you know?”
With summer right around the corner, you deserve to treat yourself to a showstopping bag, perfect for your upcoming date night or cocktail party. Part quiet luxury and part rich mom, this woven leather bag is the classiest, most elegant statement bag we’ve seen in years.
Designed in Australia and handmade in Italy, the bag looks and feels designer without the credit-crushing price tag; its durable pebbled leather material means it’s built to last. This bag functions as both a shoulder bag and a crossbody, thanks to its two included straps — a long adjustable one — that allow you to style it as you please (and wear it absolutely everywhere) and a shorter, chain strap.
The style is utterly chic, with woven leather panels, intricate stitching, gold hardware and a rectangular shape that contrasts beautifully with the square panels. Inside the bag is just as swoon-worthy, equipped with microsuede lining, a spacious main compartment and a small zip pocket for keys, cards and anything else you want to keep secure.
When it comes to styling, the sky’s the limit. We adore the everyday look of this bag with flowy palazzo pants, a white tee and slide sandals, but you can easily dress it up with a maxi dress and sparkly jewelry. If you really want to look European, try wearing it with a button-front linen top, trouser shorts and oversized sunnies. You’ll trendset everywhere you go, whether you’re attending a patio party, out dancing or at your favorite brunch spot!
There are six different colors to choose from and when we say you’ll want them all, we mean it. The ivory hue is perfect for spring and summer, but you can also snag black, khaki, red and more, depending on your style.
Reviewers can’t get enough of this bag, one urging shoppers to “do yourself a favour and pick up a Margot – any colour or finish your wardrobe beckons for.” Many are on their second Margot bag, so do with that what you will!
The besties celebrated the first day of their week-long Today With Jenna & Friends cohosting gig on Monday, May 19. Bush Hager, 43, and Guthrie, 53, reflected on their longtime friendship in a sweet video package, during which they opened up about being godmothers to each other’s kids.
“When Jenna asked me to be Hal’s godmother, I just felt so special,” Guthrie said in the clip. “I mean, it’s the greatest compliment a person could receive.” Bush Hager shares her daughters Mila, 12, and Poppy, 9, and son Hal, 5, with her husband, Henry Hager.
Guthrie later returned the heartfelt gesture by asking Bush Hager to be her daughter Vale’s godmother. The Today anchor shares Vale, 10, and her son Charley, 8, with her husband, Michael Feldman.
“It made perfect sense that the person that I speak to faith most about would be in [Hal’s] life to help shape him in that way,” Bush Hager stated. “And then, when she asked me to be Vale’s godmother, it was really beautiful.”
For Guthrie, she wanted the act to signify the closeness between them. “I know she knows what it means to me,” she shared. “I also wanted to just say to Jenna, ‘You are one of my closest friends and I am handing you my heart,’ ‘cause my little girl is my heart.”
The pair’s connection began long before they joined Today, as Guthrie reported on Bush Hager’s Texas wedding for NBC News in 2008. In Monday’s video package, Guthrie said she and Bush Hager “clicked right away” when she joined the Today family in 2011. (Bush Hager first joined Today as a correspondent in 2009.)

“There was something, sort of, in our DNA that spoke to each other,” Bush Hager explained of the pair’s bond. “And I felt like even though I was meeting her for the first time, I’d known her for many, many years.”
In addition to sharing similar senses of humor and living close to each other in New York City, having kids at around the same time helped their friendship grow deeper. Guthrie gave birth to Vale in 2014, one year before Bush Hager welcomed Poppy.
“We’ve literally raised our children together. They have, like, a sister relationship, almost,” Bush Hager said of her and Guthrie’s daughters. “And our kids went to the same school, so we would fill in for one another. If I was on a shoot, I would say, ‘Oh, my gosh. I’m running late. Can you pick up the kids from the bus?’”
Guthrie, for her part, added, “We came to really rely on each other. I think we both love that this friendship is now multi-generational and it’s well beyond us.”
Following the video package, Guthrie called Bush Hager her “favorite subject” to talk about, while Bush Hager said the “luckiest thing” about her job on Today was becoming friends with the anchor.
Bush Hager has hosted the fourth hour of Today with a lineup of celebrity guest hosts since Hoda Kotb exited the NBC morning show in January. Guthrie will continue to sit alongside Bush Hager through Friday, May 23.
An investigation into the death of influencer Emilie Kiser’s son Trigg is ongoing.
The Chandler, Arizona, Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly on Sunday, May 18, that Trigg died at age 3. Days earlier, Trigg was pulled unconscious from the family’s backyard pool.
“The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing. This is still an open investigation,” the department said in a statement to Us. “Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed.”
Emilie, who has amassed more than 1 million followers on Instagram and 3 million on TikTok, welcomed son Trigg in July 2021 with husband Brady Kiser.
“We are smitten with all his tiny features and love him so much,” she captioned Instagram images of the newborn. The couple, who tied the knot in 2020, added son Teddy to their family in March.
Emilie’s followers have flooded her Instagram posts with condolences. “When one mama cries, we all cry. Emilie and Brady you are so loved ,” one fan wrote via Instagram, while another added, “Love you Emilie and Brady! We’re all holding you .”

When Did the Incident Occur?
Trigg was found unconscious from the family’s backyard pool on the evening of May 12. Two days later, the Chandler Fire Department told local Arizona news outlet 12 News that a 3-year-old boy — later identified as Trigg — was in critical condition. Police officers reportedly arrived at the scene and began performing CPR before firefighters took over life-saving measures. He was subsequently flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
While Trigg was not initially identified, speculation began swirling online that the 3-year-old could be Kiser’s son after her followers noticed she had not posted on social media in days.
“Emily [sic] i hope you are okay. i feel sick!! ,” one user wrote in the comments section of her latest TikTok post, while another added, “Please be a bad rumor I’m sick.”
Before the final votes were tallied, American Idol runner-up John Foster used his voice to honor friends he lost.
The 18-year-old country singer first performed his original tune “Tell That Angel I Love Her” during the Easter Sunday special in April. Foster got emotional as he concluded his performance, saying, “I love you, Maggie,” into the microphone.
When host Ryan Seacrest asked about the inspiration behind the ballad, Foster shared more insight into its heartfelt meaning. “It was Maggie Dunn and Caroline Gill, [they] were two of my friends,” the teenager said. “We lost them December 31, 2022.”
Foster then pointed out Dunn’s mother, Erin Martin, in the audience, calling her one of “the strongest women I know.”
Foster’s friends were killed in a police chase in their home state of Louisiana. According to local news outlet WAFB, an officer hit the girls’ car while speeding through an intersection in a chase with a stolen car. Dunn’s brother Liam was in the backseat of the vehicle and sustained serious injuries.
The officer resigned from the police department and pleaded guilty to two counts of manslaughter in March 2024. He was reportedly sentenced to 32 years in prison, with 22 years suspended.

Idol fans saw Foster perform the emotional tribute once again during his hometown visit, which aired on the Sunday, May 18, season 23 finale. Returning to Addis, Louisiana, Foster stopped by his high school, where Martin — a teacher — spoke about her late daughter.
“Music allows us a way to communicate [things] that sometimes we’re not able to through words,” she said. “‘Tell That Angel I Love Her’ was a way that our family and an entire community was able to connect and heal. That is the power of music, and that’s your calling, JF. You have that power. … Know that she’s always watching and always proud.”
Foster went on to reveal that the song was written the day he learned of Dunn’s death. While back home, he visited the cemetery where she’s buried.
“When I lost her, it was just like a whole part of me had been torn out,” he said. “Months before she passed, she wrote me a very inspirational letter. If it wouldn’t have been for her, I don’t know if I ever would’ve been in the position I am today.”
Foster performed his original song for his community — but he could barely make it through the song before breaking down in tears. He took one more opportunity to honor his late friends during the live finale on Sunday before Jamal Roberts was officially announced as the season 23 winner.
Reflecting on his Idol journey, Foster thanked viewers for their support. “Man, what a true blessing to share this Idol stage with so many incredible heroes, both new faces and legends,” he wrote via Instagram on Sunday. “I’m beyond thankful, and I can’t wait to keep making music for y’all as long as the good Lord lets me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart – times a million. .”
“Tell That Angel I Love Her” is available to stream now.
Williams and Ledger started dating in 2005 after meeting on the set of Brokeback Mountain. They welcomed Matilda in October of that year, before going their separate ways in October 2007. Ledger died in January 2008 at age 28 following an accidental drug overdose.
Shortly after the Dark Knight actor’s passing, the Dawson’s Creek alum and Matilda moved out of their Brooklyn home to rural upstate New York to avoid the excessive attention from paparazzi.
Williams eventually moved on, marrying musician Phil Elverum in July 2018. They split after one year.
Us Weekly confirmed in December 2019 that the Golden Globe winner was engaged to Hamilton director Thomas Kail and pregnant with the couple’s first child. In May 2020, Us confirmed the two were married in a secret ceremony, just one month before Williams gave birth to their son, Hart. Williams announced she was expecting her second child with Kail in May 2022, and details regarding the child have been kept under wraps. Williams and Kail welcomed their third child — her fourth — via surrogate in April 2025.
Keep scrolling to read Williams’ quotes about Ledger over the years:
Ledger lives on through his daughter, Matilda. “Every time I really miss him and wonder where he’s gone, I just look at her,” Williams told Vogue in September 2009. “I can talk about grief, because that’s mine, about single parenting, about trying to balance work and kids. But what I don’t have to talk about is what happened between Heath and me in our relationship. Brokeback Mountain was an unrepeatable moment in time, a very charmed time in my life. I was in love. I was in a movie I was proud to be a part of and with a beautiful, brand new baby. Everything was good in that moment.”
Williams reminisced on her last year with Ledger for Nightline in December 2010. “In a strange way, I miss that year, because all those possibilities that existed then are gone. It didn’t seem unlikely to me that he could walk through a door or could appear behind a bush,” she explained. “It was a year of very magical thinking, and, in some ways, I’m sad to be moving further and further away from it. … I’ve found meanings around the circumstance [of his death], but the actual event itself still doesn’t… I can’t find a meaning for it.”
“It all becomes rather tricky [talking about Ledger] because I don’t want to say something without resonance, but then I don’t want to go too far,” the Great and Powerful Oz actress told the Daily Beast in January 2011 of why she hesitates to bring up her relationship with the Patriot actor. “I experienced a lot of loss after his death. I lost my city because of all the paparazzi descending upon us. I actually lost my journal during that time, oddly enough. I literally couldn’t hold onto anything. It felt as if things were literally slipping through my fingers. Things were just streaming away from me. I lost my sense of humor. I’m still looking for that.”
The Blue Valentine star told Marie Claire in January 2011 that she will never be able to fill the void left by Ledger. “Obviously, for me and for [Matilda], there’s a hole in our life. Of course, the natural inclination is to want to fill it and make it disappear, but what I’ve come to recently is that it’s impossible,” she explained. “Nothing will fill in that hole, because what we want back, we can’t get, which is this person. I’m not going to rush anything and scamper around like a mad person and make myself crazy. I’m going to be respectful of the absence. I’m not trying to fill it up. It is what it is.”
Williams had trouble coming to terms with the physical loss of Ledger after his death. “For a really long time, I couldn’t stop touching people’s faces. I was like, ‘Look at you. You move. You’re here.’ It all just seemed so fleeting and I wanted to hold onto it,” she told Vogue in September 2011. “Three years ago, it felt like we didn’t have anything and now, my life, our life, has a kind of repaired itself. [Ledger’s death has] changed how I see the world and how I interact on a daily basis. It’s changed the parent I am. It’s changed the friend I am. It’s changed the kind of work that I really want to do. It’s become the lens through which I see life — that it’s all impermanent.”
Williams dedicated her January 2012 Golden Globe win for Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) to Matilda, who has been so strong in light of the hardships she has faced. “I consider myself a mother first and an actress second and so the person I most want to thank is my daughter, my little girl, whose bravery and exuberance is the example that I take with me in my work and in my life.”
The My Week With Marilyn actress revealed to GQ in January 2012 that she would have liked to have more children with the Australian actor. “I really wanted, and I really expected or imagined, that Matilda would have siblings that were close to her age,” she said at the time. “And now that she’s 6, that isn’t even a possibility anymore. So something that was making me feel impatient, that’s even removed, For whatever reason, that’s not our luck, not our path. You know, as hard as certain things have been for me, it’s harder thinking about how things will be for her. I have a lot of things that she doesn’t and some of what I have, I can give to her: The memories that I have, the objects that I have, the physical reminders that I have, the stories.”
Williams told Porter magazine in December 2016 that she’s a “believer in not fighting circumstances,” with one exception: “I would be able to totally go down that line of thinking were it not for Matilda not having her dad. You know, that’s just something that doesn’t … I mean, it just won’t ever be right.”
Williams had hesitations about selling the home she shared with Matilda and the 10 Things I Hate About You star in 2014. “At that time, I was inconsolable, because I felt, ‘How will he be able to find us? This is where we lived and he won’t know where we are.’ And now, I can’t believe I thought that,” she admitted to WSJ Magazine in February 2017. “Maybe that’s what’s making me cry is I feel sad for the person who thought he won’t be able to locate [us].”
“I never gave up on love,” Williams told Vanity Fair in July 2018, adding, “I always say to Matilda, ‘Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes.’”
The Manchester by the Sea actress shared update about Matilda on April 4, 2019, what would have been Ledger’s 40th birthday. “So far, so good,” she gushed, noting that her teenage daughter hasn’t given her any trouble. “Every morning we wake up and I look to see if the transformation has happened and if it’s turned into the next level that I keep hearing about, but so far, we’re not there yet.”
In a May 2022 interview with Variety, the Blue Valentine star revealed that support in raising daughter Matilda came from an unlikely place — Succession actor Jeremy Strong.
“Jeremy was serious enough to hold the weight of a child’s broken heart and sensitive enough to understand how to approach her through play and games and silliness,” the Dawson’s Creek alum gushed about the actor.
Four years after meeting, Strong moved into Williams’ home to help her adjust to becoming a single parent and act as a stand-in male figure for her daughter's life following Ledger's death.
“[Matilda] didn’t grow up with her father, but she grew up with her Jeremy and we were changed by his ability to play as though his life depended upon it,” she told Variety. “We’ve watched him work harder than anyone and wait a long time for the people to recognize it. So when he became so celebrated, we all celebrated.”
Williams appeared on the “Armchair Expert” podcast and got emotional while remembering Ledger.
“I feel obligated to say that I knew him a little bit when he was getting sober, and I don’t know that I’ve ever fallen in love with somebody so quickly,” she recalled. “[He was] so special, so special. Thank God there’s Matilda.”
My 600-lb Life star Latonya Pottain has died at the age of 40, Us Weekly can confirm.
Pottain died on Saturday, May 17, at a hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, according to the Natchitoches Parish Coroner’s Office. TMZ, who was first to break the news reported that Pottain’s preliminary autopsy found that she died from congestive heart failure.
A final autopsy report has yet to be completed.
Pottain’s brother told TMZ that family members visited the reality star at her home prior to her death. He claimed she had difficulty breathing and did not look well. The family received a call from a nurse later who told them Pottain called an ambulance. She was taken to the hospital due to cardiac arrest.
Pottain was best known for appearing on My 600-lb Lifeseason 11, which aired in February 2023. During her time on the TLC series, Pottain embarked on a weight loss journey ahead of her wedding to her husband, Duane. However, Pottain struggled to lose weight as she didn’t want to stop eating certain foods.
While meeting with Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, also known as Dr. Now, on the show, he told Pottain that she had actually gained weight in recent weeks.
While Pottain did not qualify for bariatric surgery, she did continue to make strides in her health journey. One month after appearing on My 600-lb Life, Pottain gave an update on her progress.
“I’m back with my trainer, I’m dieting and my weight is going down,” Pottain said in a March 2023 interview with the Shreveport Times. “I’m also moving to be closer to my family so I can get my weight down and get my surgery.”
In addition to working on herself, Pottain was also working on her goal to open a shelter for at-risk girls.
“All my life I have taken care of young girls and helped support them, getting them through school, helping them with their kids and just encourage them and be there for them,” she explained. “There’s so many young girls that have lost both of their parents, going through what I went through as a teenager and not having anywhere to go. Some of them don’t feel loved at home and my group home will offer them that love and support, help them go to school, when they graduate, help them find an apartment, help them with their college applications. You know, just like a family.”
Cassie is turning the page on a new chapter after her emotional testimony in the trial of ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“It’s been a very hard time for Cassie. It’s been heartbreaking and horrific for her to relive these awful memories,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “She has had many years of trauma therapy to try and cope with what happened to her.”
The insider notes that the past few months leading up to the trial have been “nerve-racking, stressful and exhausting” for Cassie, who “feels relieved that the time has come and she can put this behind her.”
“Cassie’s been trying to manage her stress levels as she is in her last trimester of her pregnancy and is going to give birth soon,” the source shares. “It’s been a lot for her emotionally and physically.”
Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura), who is pregnant with her and Alex Fine’s third baby, has had her husband by her side. The insider notes that Fine, 32, has been Cassie’s “saving grace through it all.” (The couple share Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 4.)
“She credits him for saving her through the darkest times. He is the most patient and loving person and has never judged her for her past,” the insider says. “Having that kind of unconditional support has meant everything to her. He’s really been her rock through this horrific time. She feels safe with him, something she has never felt before.”

Cassie, who was in an on-and-off relationship with Diddy from 2007 to 2018, now has a “completely opposite” life compared to when she was in her twenties and dating the rap mogul, per the source.
“There was a point in time where she thought Diddy was her soulmate and that they would get married,” the insider adds. “That was long before she realized the dark sinister side of him and discovered just how dark things really were behind the scenes.”
Following that time in her life, Cassie, 38, has removed herself from the entertainment industry and has started a “peaceful” chapter on the East Coast, per the source.
“She and Alex live a very normal and quiet life now. She isn’t interested in the spotlight or anything to do with Hollywood,” the insider shares. “Her next venture will be philanthropic, and she wants to do something impactful. She is really focused on her family and raising her babies in a peaceful and normal environment right now. It is still hard for her on a day-to-day basis.”
The source claims that Cassie and “the girls cannot leave the house at times” because of the huge public interest in the trial, which is being held in her hometown of New York City. The insider adds, “It has been a frenzy and has taken a toll on their family, especially recently.”
For Cassie, it’s important to “be a good example” for victims and her daughters, per the source.
“Every word she speaks, and every action is for her children and to be a good example, especially for women,” the insider says. “She never wants anyone to go through what she’s been through. It’s been the most painful, terrifying experience of her life, but she’s trying to turn that pain into purpose.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Cassie’s rep for comment.

News broke in 2023 that Cassie filed a lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship. He denied her allegations in a statement shared by his attorney.
“Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,” Diddy’s lawyer Ben Brafman said at the time.
Diddy and Cassie settled out of court one day after the lawsuit was filed. In May 2024, CNN published a hotel surveillance video of Diddy kicking and grabbing Cassie inside a hotel in 2016. He later apologized for his actions in a video shared via Instagram.
In September 2024, Diddy was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Diddy has since been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, with his four requests for bail denied by Judge Arun Subramanian. His trial began earlier this month, with Cassie taking the stand and detailing her relationship with Diddy. In her testimony, Cassie described alleged freak offs, revealed an opioid addiction she claimed she developed during the relationship and claimed that he raped her in 2018. (Diddy has denied allegations of rape.)

A former Toronto Maple Leafs player criticized the appearance of the team’s most famous fan — Justin Bieber — at Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Carlo Colaiacovo, who played six seasons for the Leafs between 2002 and 2009, reacted to Bieber’s presence behind the Toronto bench during their showdown with the Florida Panthers on Sunday, May 18.
“Who actually thought this was a good idea?” Colaiacovo, 42, posted via X on Sunday, sharing a video of Bieber, 31, and his wife, Hailey Bieber, at the game.
Justin, a native of Stratford, Ontario, and a lifelong fan of the Maple Leafs, stirred plenty of conversation for his outfit and behavior during the game, where he was seen on camera bobbing his head to the music and wearing sunglasses.
“Justin Bieber looks like Willem Dafoe starring in a Jamiroquai biopic,” one person wrote via X, a reference to the fluffy hat the pop star was wearing.
Another viewer trolled Justin for his choice of zip-up, writing, “Bieber is at the Leafs game looking like a lobster roll.”
Justin shared a selfie from his seat at the game, posting a smiling photo with Maple Leafs stars Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner in the background.
Unfortunately for Justin, the Maple Leafs got steamrolled by the Panthers 6-1, ending the series and, thus, their season.
“I don’t remember a time in my life when I haven’t been obsessed with the leafsssss,” Bieber shared via Instagram after the game alongside a carousel of photos from the game. “This year we made it farther than we have in so long and im happy about that. I can be patient cuz I know this is the team to do it. .”
Justin has been an ardent supporter of the Maple Leafs during their postseason run, even skipping the Met Gala earlier this month to watch Game 1 of the Leafs-Panthers series. Hailey attended the event solo while Justin stayed home to watch the game with friends.
In recent months, Justin has concerned some of his fans with his social media behavior, which has often included the singer using drug paraphernalia.
A source exclusively told Us Weekly in February that Hailey is doing everything she can to have her husband’s back.
“Hailey is trying to be as supportive as possible,” the source said. “It can be hard for Hailey, but she’s always there for him and is understanding.”
The insider also noted that Justin has been focused on his family lately, including the couple’s first baby Jack Blues, who was born in August 2024.
The source explained, “He is a really great dad to Jack and is very protective over him.”
Justin also recently mourned the loss of his grandfather, Bruce Dale, who Justin connected to his love of hockey in a post after his passing.
“Papa, I always took all ur money lol,” Justin wrote via Instagram on April 26, two days after his grandfather’s death. “I remember u specifically telling me, gramma gave u an allowance of 20 dollars for the WEEK! I would always convince you to spend on snacks at the hockey game on Friday nights.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wivesviewers had lots of thoughts about that dinner where Taylor Frankie Paul‘s family pushed her to get back together with Dakota Mortensen — but how does the reality star feel about that moment?
During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly before season 2 premiered on Thursday, May 15, Taylor, 30, called that conversation the “most difficult” scene she had to watch back.
“One of the heavy scenes is the barbecue scene with my family. I, of course, haven’t seen it yet but I remember it and I do remember it being emotional. For me, obviously I’ve worked through that a bit and prepared to see it,” Taylor explained. “I continued therapy during that and then after I did a lot of therapy. I went to a retreat right before this so I was kind of mentally preparing for that because I knew that this was all coming.”
Taylor knew that reliving the experience “could be triggering” for her, adding, “It’s just kind of like a repeat of what’s already been happening. I prepared in the sense of knowing all these things are going to be triggering and it’s like reliving the trauma.”
While recalling the ups and downs she faced on screen, Taylor acknowledged that you “can only prepare so much.”
“Therapy and using the tools for when these hard situations come up [is important]. I’ve had enough at this point that I can kind of work through [anything]. It’s been a learning experience, for sure,” she added. “The last three years of my life was very traumatic. Even prior to the show, during the show and after the show, there’s been all these experiences back to back to back that I feel like were very hard to navigate during those times because I didn’t have all the tools that I have now.”
She continued: “So of course in the very beginning I was not handling it well because I had nothing to go off of and no tools that I knew how to handle that trauma. I’ve obviously learned from certain mistakes. But also with therapy, you learn all these tools and how to navigate certain situations.”
For those who haven’t finished watching the new season — or need a refresher — Taylor’s sit-down with her family and Dakota concerned some viewers because of how her loved ones seemed to side with her ex. Taylor and Dakota, who share 13-month old son Ever, were no longer together when filming for season 2 started, which her family questioned on screen.
In the shockingly awkward scene, Taylor was asked by her stepfather whether she contributed to the issues in her personal life by sleeping with Dakota too soon. Her brother and mother also attempted to convince her to give Dakota another chance. Taylor’s family then engaged in a prayer while she cried at the dinner table and Justin Timberlake‘s “Cry Me a River’ played in the background.
“Of course when things are heightened, you’re breaking up and it’s not something you wanted and you just had a baby,” she shared. “It was not the prettiest experience, but currently we’ve come a long way.”
Taylor was proud of how far her and Dakota have come when coparenting. (The reality star also shares daughter Indy, 7, and son Ocean, 4, with ex-husband Tate Paul.)
“We’ve obviously come a long way to navigate it. It’s different from my first husband [Tate Paul] because there’s obviously a friendship there. We adjusted,” she continued. “Whereas [with] Dakota, everything’s fresh. It’s something that we necessarily didn’t want to do but needed to separate. So it’s an adjustment and we’ve had to learn through the obstacles of this experience to do what’s best for our son.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is currently streaming on Hulu.
Mariska Hargitay revisited the life and legacy of her mom Jayne Mansfield with her directorial debut, My Mom Jayne, which premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
“The fact that I get to take her back and to tell her story there, I just don’t have the words,” Hargitay told Vanity Fair in a May 2025 interview.
Hargitay revealed during the same interview that her biological father is Italian singer and comedian Nelson Sardelli and not bodybuilder and actor, Mickey Hargitay, which she originally thought. This topic is also explored in the documentary.
The Law and Order: SVU actress admitted to being “embarrassed” by some of the choices her mother had made.
“I just wanted my mom to be like the other moms!” Hargitay recalled. “Like, ‘Why are you always in a bathing suit? Why so much breast?’ I just wanted a maternal mother image.”
She added, “I didn’t want to be that girl, and I was judgmental about it. That’s the honest answer. I definitely think that it informed some of my choices. What kind of actor am I going to be? I am going to be a different kind.”
“I’ve had so much strife and turmoil with this word mother — and here I was, this iconic mother figure in the culture,” she said. “Isn’t that ironic?”

Was Mariska Hargitay in the Car When Jayne Mansfield Died?
Three of Mansfield’s five kids — Hargitay, along with Zoltan Hargitay and Mickey Hargitay Jr. — were in the car and survived the accident. The NBC star was 3 years old at the time.
“I don’t remember the accident,” the actress told Vanity Fair in May 2025. “I don’t even remember being told that my mother had died.”
She added: “I look at photos, and I don’t really remember anything until I was 5.”
Kylie Jenner’s bikini style is seriously luxurious.
Jenner, 27, took to Instagram on Sunday, May 18, to show off her figure in a vintage 1995 Chanel bikini. The red swimsuit, which, according to Page Six, once retailed for $10,000, featured a triangle halter top adorned with silver crystals. Her itty-bitty bottoms were finished with the same studs and barely-there straps. When Jenner turned around, she gave her fans a glimpse of her bum with the thong back.
At the top of the bottoms was Chanel’s iconic double-C logo.
Jenner teamed her sexy look with bombshell makeup, including long lashes, blushed cheeks and pink lips. She styled her brunette hair in mermaid waves and flipped her tresses over her head.
“No place I’d rather beeee <3,” Jenner captioned the post.
Jenner is a huge fan of the bikini and previously wore a black version while vacationing in April 2024.

She posed on the beach and showed off the design, which she elevated with chunky silver hoop earrings.
Jenner isn’t the only celeb who has rocked the set. In 1994, Claudia Schiffer wowed in the swimwear while walking in the Chanel Spring 1995 show in Paris.
Schiffer, now 54, styled the suit with a bedazzled silver body chain and a black robe decorated with pastel pink, blue, red and purple Chanel logos. She further glammed up the look with florals in her hair.

Naomi Campbell also wore a pink version of the bikini on the runway during the same show. The look was complete with a bejeweled floral in the center of her chest.
Jenner has been a longtime fan of the French fashion house. In January, she told Vogue, “Chanel has an incredible ability to make you feel timeless yet modern at the same time.”
“Every piece tells a story, and there’s always a balance between elegance and edge that resonates with me. It’s not just about the clothes — it’s the craftsmanship, the legacy, and how they make you feel when you wear them. That’s what keeps me coming back.”
Scheana Shay surprised Bravo fans when she revealed she hasn’t just had a falling out with Lisa Vanderpump — she developed a “trauma response” since Vanderpump Rulescame to an end.
“I literally have a trauma response when she calls me,” Scheana, 40, said on the Friday, May 16, episode of her “Scheananigans” podcast. “It’s always something. It was [always,] like, what I did wrong or what could I do for her? The last time she called me, it was a question about Marciano [Brunette] and Demi [Engemann]. Nothing about me or anything like that.”
Scheana wasn’t surprised to get a call about Vanderpump Villa and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives drama, but she was disappointed.
“She was just like, ‘I need you to tell me exactly what happened.’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t owe you anything,'” she noted. “But also, ‘If you’re thinking this about my friends, I’m going to tell you the truth because I don’t want my friends getting in trouble for something that’s not true.'”
Scheana’s guest, podcast host Gibson Johns, subsequently brought up comments Lisa, 64, made about how Vanderpump Rules, which is often billed as Lisa’s show, provided the cast with career success. Scheana said she doesn’t exactly see it that way.
“First of all, Bravo gave me this opportunity. The success of VPR is due mostly to a messy group of friends. Of course, Lisa’s name is attached to the show. I started the show with a scandal I was involved in. People were invested in watching the show for the six of us,” she continued. “No offense to Lisa, but I think very few viewers were tuning in to see Lisa’s life because she’s not sharing a bunch of her life on the show. It was about us. Because of the success, she’s been able to expand her empire.”
Scheana, who played a big part in the VPR and RHOBH crossover thanks to her past with then-Housewife Brandi Glanville’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, admitted she doesn’t feel she owes Lisa “anything.”
“She’s my former employer and producer. She’s not my family and she doesn’t treat me like a friend,” Scheana added. “I just feel like that’s been made pretty clear over the last few years.”
Vanderpump Rules viewers have wondered where Scheana and Lisa stand since the show was overhauled ahead of season 12. Scheana was asked about her current relationship with Lisa in April on the “Two T’s With a Pod” podcast, and she admitted, “I don’t talk to her too often. She usually calls when she needs something.”
Scheana recalled her last interaction with Lisa being business-related. “That was recent when I talked to her,” she added. “She had a question about a friend of mine on another show of hers, and that was pretty much it.”
After Kristen Doute hinted that Scheana’s upcoming memoir contributed to the rift, Lisa was asked to weigh in on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
“[She spills tea] about me? Oh, good lord,” Lisa said earlier this month. “Well, that is probably just to sell the book, because she doesn’t have anything else to say.”
Lisa continued: “I have heard she said something nasty that I only call her when I need something. True that. I have 600 people that work for me. I think the last time I needed her is when I invited her to my house for [my grandson] Teddy’s birthday. So that is the last time I called her.”
In response, Scheana confirmed that Lisa is brought up in her book.
“What I said to Kristen is there are things that I’ve never felt comfortable talking about that I open up about in the book. Because I’ve always been very loyal to Lisa — very much. I was her right hand for a long time,” she explained on Friday’s episode. “There were a lot of situations that I’ve been put in — phone calls that were made — and things that just kind of shaped a big part of my life that I do discuss in the book.”
Scheana acknowledged that Lisa might not be happy with everything written in My Good Side.
“It’s something that I never felt comfortable sharing. It’s honestly a huge reason why I wanted to wait until Vanderpump Rules was done to write a book,” she shared. “I feel that that relationship has been strained for years. A big thing was in 2020 when I suffered a miscarriage and everyone else was reaching out, I didn’t hear from her at all.”
Scheana continued: “I’m sure there’s going to be things in there she’s not too happy about. But it is my truth. It’s my story.”
