Brenda Song Says She Taught Macaulay Culkin How to Do Laundry

Eight years into their relationship, actors Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin are sharing more bits and pieces of their usually private life together.

After sparking a romance in 2017, the couple now share two children: 3-year-old Dakota and 2-year-old Carson.

During her Thursday, March 13, interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Song opened up about some of the every day tasks she’s had to teach Culkin throughout their relationship.

“Mac is a very unique human,” she told Jennifer Hudson.

Macaulay Culkin Says Brenda Song Was ‘Thoroughly Unimpressed’ by Him

“Being the most famous child actor in the world, he lived and grew up in hotels,” Song, 36, continued, which meant there were some basic tasks he never needed to learn.

“He had just never really done laundry,” Song admitted, adding that she was “shooketh” learning that a grown man didn’t know how to clean his clothes.

“It’s funny, teaching him how to do laundry,” she told Hudson, joking that she’s been doing laundry since she was at least 10 years old.

In addition to teaching her fiancé how to do laundry, Song also had to teach Culkin, 44, how to drive — or at least she tried.

Noting that Culkin “still doesn’t know how to drive,” Song told Hudson she attempted to teach him that skill as well.

“I took him out to drive in our neighborhood — I was terrified,” she joked. “This 44-year-old man driving for the first time? I was like, ‘Nope!’ I gotta hire someone to do that.”

Song and Culkin met in 2014 when Song worked on their mutual friend Seth Green’s comedy Dads. Song admitted Culkin didn’t make a great first impression.

“I did not like him at all,” Song recently revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show.

Three years later, in 2017, they reconnected on the set of Changeland, and Culkin redeemed himself.

“I thought he was gonna be my BFF, and then I was like, ‘Oh wait, I kinda have a crush on him,'” Song told Drew Barrymore. “I thought I was gonna have my first fling—and that fling has turned into almost eight years and two kids.”

The Hollywood stars recently graced the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine together, becoming the first romantic couple to ever do so.

Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song Have Slam-Dunk Date Night at Lakers Game

Song said it was Culkin that talked her into making history, not because she doesn’t love Cosmopolitan, but because the private parts of her relationship are the most sacred to her.

“In today’s world, just trying to keep things as private as possible, keeping precious things private, cause knowing this is sort of a one-way door, you can’t really take things back. But you know, for Mac and for us, you know, this is us. This is our love. We want to spread the love,” she explained. “Mac’s favorite quote is, ‘Let’s do it for the mantle and for our kids.’”

Chris Pratt Nearly Spoiled Patrick Schwarzenegger's Marriage Proposal

Patrick Schwarzenegger’s proposal to fiancée Abby Champion would have gone on without a hitch if it weren’t for his brother-in-law, Chris Pratt.

During the Thursday, March 13, episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the White Lotus star, 31, opened up about popping the question. “We’ve been together for so long that I wanted to find some way that was going to be kind of unique, and still surprise her,” he told guest host Molly Sims. “And so, we go on a little morning sunrise walk at, like, 6 a.m. down at the beach and that’s when I did it. She was in her pajama pants, or her sweatpants. She had no makeup on.”

Noting that both his and Champion’s families were there for the special moment, Schwarzenegger said that Pratt, 45, nearly spoiled the surprise while getting things ready. “[He] set up an umbrella on the beach, and he set up all these roses and all these flowers, and then right when we walked down, he jumped up with the umbrella and ran away, and there was this beautiful flower arrangement,” he said. “That’s where I proposed.”

Luckily, Schwarzenegger said Pratt didn’t give things away “until the last second,” adding, “[Abby] was like, ‘Is that Chris?’ And I was like, ‘Yup.’”

Patrick Schwarzenegger Celebrates ‘Queen’ Abby Champion on Her Birthday

The couple announced their engagement in December 2023 by sharing sweet proposal pics via Instagram. “💍❤FOREVER AND EVER ❤💍,” Schwarzenegger captioned his engagement post, which also featured a photo of him and Champion, 28, posing with a celebration cake.

Schwarzenegger’s mother, Maria Shriver, congratulated the couple in the comments section at the time, writing, “Yippee bravo we are all so happy for you for your love for your now for your future your love is inspiring joy joy joy ❤.”

Patrick is the third of four children Shriver, 69, shares with ex-husband Arnold Schwarzenegger, along with Katherine, 35, Christina, 33, and Christopher, 27. (Arnold, 77, is also the father of son Joseph, 27, whom he shares with Mildred Patricia Baena.)

Patrick and Champion began dating following his five-month fling with Miley Cyrus. The soon-to-be spouses made their romance Instagram official in March 2016, shortly after Us Weekly confirmed the pair were dating.

Last year, Champion and Patrick were spotted enjoying beach time together while the actor filmed season 3 of The White Lotus, which premiered on HBO last month. Patrick exclusively told Us in April 2024 that the couple “haven’t even started” wedding planning.

“We are slow! I’m working right now, so I’m out of town for the next bit,” he shared.

Patrick noted that he and the model “have grown so much, as individuals and in our relationship” over the past few years. “We continue to grow together and separately,” he said. “We started dating when she was 18 and I was 21, every day gets better and better!”

Earlier this year, Patrick called his fiancée his “queen” and his “ride or die” in a sentimental Instagram birthday tribute. “Crazy to think we fell in love 10 years ago!! So proud of the human you are. You continue to inspire me,” he captioned pics of the pair from throughout their relationship on Ferbuary 28. “I love watching your dedication to your family, friends, faith and your work. It’s been a blessing to be on this journey with you & I can’t wait to watch where life takes us. Have the best day & another fantastic year.”

Wendy Williams Provides Health Update After Hospital Evaluation

Wendy Williams spoke out about her health after she was taken to a New York hospital for evaluation during a welfare check.

The former talk show host, 60, called in to the Friday, March 14, episode of The View. “It was my choice to get an independent evaluation on my incapacitation, which I don’t have it,” Williams said of her hospital visit. “How dare they say I have incapacitation. I do not.”

Williams recalled grabbing dinner with her niece Alex Finnie after the hospital stay on Wednesday, March 12, for which she had to get permission by her guardian, Sabrina E. Morrissey. “It was great at first,” she said before noting her guardians were waiting for her when she got back to her living facility.

“I’m not permitted to do anything, but stay on this floor, memory unit,” she stated, questioning, “Why am I here?”

Wendy Williams Says She Passed Competency Tests With ‘Flying Colors’

Williams said that her guardians and case judge need to “get off my neck,” stating, “These two people don’t look like me, they don’t talk like me, they don’t act like me, and venture to say, they will never be me. … I need a new guardian.”

Williams, who noted that she’s currently “alcohol-free,” said her end goal was to get out of her guardianship. “I don’t want Sabrina, period,” she said. “But I also don’t want a guardian. I want to get out of guardian[ship]. It’s been over three years. It’s time for my money and my life to get back to status quo.”

Williams’ appearance on The View comes after Us Weekly confirmed she was transported from her assisted living facility in New York to a local hospital for “evaluation” on Monday, March 10, amid a welfare check by police. She has been under a legal guardianship since May 2022 and was diagnosed with dementia in 2023.

News broke in November 2024 that Morrissey, Williams’ court-appointed guardian, alleged in court documents that Williams is “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled and legally incapacitated.” However, in January, Williams denied that she is “cognitively impaired” while voicing her desire to end her guardianship.

Wendy Williams' Brother Says She’s in 'Great Shape Mentally and Physically'

After her hospital visit, Williams called into the Tuesday, March 11, episode of Good Day New York to share that she underwent mental competency tests, claiming, “I passed with flying colors!”

Williams then asked her caretaker, Ginalia Monterrosa — who accompanied her to the hospital — to “elaborate on everything.”

“She had those tests, she’s been deemed she is not incapacitated,” Monterrosa said. “I think it’s great news, and it’s public, and everybody knows factually that Wendy’s not incapacitated.”

Williams added that her “No. 1” goal was to end her guardianship.

That same day, Monterrosa claimed on The Breakfast Club that Williams got 10 out of 10 answers correct on the tests at the hospital, with Williams noting, “They asked me simple things like who’s the president? What’s your birth date?”

In an exclusive interview with Us earlier this week, Monterrosa said Williams’ inner circle is “just figuring out next steps of what’s going to happen.”

Wendy Williams Is 'Content' and 'Happy' Amid Ongoing Health Battle

“She is letting the public know it is unfair, it is unjust,” Monterrosa told Us of Williams’ recent interviews. “She doesn’t need to be in a guardianship. She is not incapacitated. She will continue to voice her opinion.”

Monterrosa claimed that Williams is not allowed to have a cell phone at her assisted living facility and only has access to a landline that makes outgoing calls but does not receive incoming calls.

“We’d love for her to be in an unrestrictive environment — even at another facility — where she has freedom to come in and out, see her friends, people can call her, she can have an iPad, she can use a two-way phone — not just [a] one-way [phone],” Monterrosa said. “[She has] the freedom to go to the store and supermarket, to go to the gym, to have a life and the things we take for granted.”

Southern Charm's Venita Spent $5K on JT Before Knowing About His Girlfriend

Southern Charm star Venita Aspen offered further insight on her relationship — or lack thereof — with Jarret “JT” Thomas.

“I’m on a walk and I call JT and I say, ‘Hey, listen, I want you to come with me to this event as my date.’ He goes, ‘You know, I don’t think my girlfriend’s gonna like that.’ I literally throw my phone on my porch and slam my door,” Venita, 31, shared during the Southern Charm after show on Thursday, March 14, noting that she didn’t want to look like “a f—ing homewrecker.”

The phone call Ventia was referring to took place during the episode of Southern Charm which premiered on Thursday. The event in question was a summer party hosted by costar Madison LeCroy and Ryan Albert.

“Imagine having a girlfriend and then having your best friend spend $5,000 on you at Dumas,” Venita continued, referencing a scene from earlier in the season when she and JT, 39, went shopping together. “And you get it tailored, same day turnaround. They don’t do that for anybody else.”

Southern Charm’s Venita Says JT 'Popped Up' With a GF Amid Their Romance

Costar Leva Bonaparte was confused about Venita spending the money on JT.

“That was my best friend first,” Venita continued, noting that her mother — who had met JT — was “very upset” about what went down.

The most recent season of Southern Charm teased what appeared to be romantic tension between JT and Venita. One episode, which aired last month, showed JT revealing to Venita that he was dating someone else. Several episodes later, the cast headed on a trip to the Bahamas where Venita went to JT’s room in the middle of the night.

According to an Instagram Story posted by Venita earlier this month, these two episodes were not shown in chronological order of when the events actually went down.

“Let me make something VERY CLEAR. That dinner JT and I had after I made a Branzino was AFTER the Bahamas yall as an audience saw it BEFORE,” she wrote. “So this weeks episode is now making me look like I’m a home wrecker when I’m not. I know what I signed up for but I also will not allow the world to think I’m that woman when I’m not.”

‘Southern Charm’ Cast Reacts to JT Leaving Show: ‘He Was No Longer Wanted’

Thursday’s Southern Charm after show also featured fellow cast member Salley Carson weighing in on the Venita and JT situation.

“He pretended to want Venita and he had a girlfriend the whole f—ing time,” she said. “I will f— you up if you f— with one of my girls, and he f—ed with Venita. He’s dead to me.”

Halsey Claps Back at ‘Body Cops’ After Posting Sexy Lingerie Pics

Halsey clapped back at haters in the best way possible.

After Halsey, 30, showed off her figure in sexy lingerie earlier this week, she took to X to clap back at internet trolls who criticized her post. “I can’t believe how angry everyone is that I wore a push-up bra,” she wrote. “Damn, I really still got it like that.” A fan then replied to her tweet, asking, “Wait who’s angry? The straights?” Halsey answered, “The body cops.”

While some weren’t thrilled to see Halsey’s curves, others, including her fiancé, Avan Jogia, applauded her snaps.

🖤🖤🖤,” Jogia, 33, gushed in the comments section. A fan praised, “I stopped breathing by slide 3,” and another added, “Queen of lingerie.”

Jason Sudeikis Says 1 of His Top 'SNL' Skits Almost Starred Taylor Swift

Former Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudeikis has a few favorite show sketches — and one even has a Taylor Swift connection to the delight of her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

“I loved [Kristen] Wiig and I, in our first few years together, did these characters called ‘The Two A-Holes,’ which is really fun,” Sudeikis, 49, said on the Friday, March 14, episode of Travis and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. “[It was] a guy chewing gum and his girlfriend playing with her hair and they were a blast to do and write — and it was definitely an archetype people saw in the real world.”

Another “personal favorite” skit for Sudeikis was called “Potato Chip,” which costarred fellow SNL vet Will Forte.

“The very first time we did it was with Taylor when she hosted,” Sudeikis quipped to Travis, 35, who replied, “Nice!”

'SNL' Writers Say Taylor Swift 'Immediately' Approved 'Sad Virgins' Sketch

Travis noted that Swift, now 35, was a lot younger at the time. (Swift and Travis have been together since summer 2023.)

“A young Taylor, too,” Sudeikis added.

Swift made her SNL hosting debut in 2009 — Travis, meanwhile, emceed the variety series exactly 10 years later after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2023 — but the “Potato Chip” sketch got cut before the live show.

Jason Sudeikis Says 1 of His Top SNL Sketches Almost Aired When A Young Taylor Swift Hosted
Taylor Swift on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ NBC/YouTube

“It didn’t make it to air,” Sudeikis recalled. “We ended up doing it with [Taylor’s friend] Blake Lively. She ended up getting it over the hump for us. They played it so differently, which is one of those neat things. It’s the silliest sketch in the world.”

The Ted Lasso star — who revealed on Friday’s episode that a fourth season is in development — further noted that many cast members often get superstitious about their sketches actually making it to the broadcast.

“It’s almost, like, you don’t want to spook the muses either,” he said. “That was always a fun thing. There were always those little bits of superstitions where you don’t call home and say your sketch is making it, don’t text your friends [and] say you’re going to show up in that sketch because it will end up getting cut. That happened more often than not, so, at some point, you’re never like, ‘This is going to kill.’”

Seth Meyers Was Amazed by 'Force of Nature' Taylor Swift's 'SNL' Monologue

Sudeikis continued, “I don’t know if I’d ever even say it out loud or wouldn’t get it from my brain to my mouth. Something would stop inside. My soul would go, ‘Don’t you say that s—. Don’t you dare.’”

How the 'Grosse Pointe' Characters Are Connected Ahead of Mystery Murder

Grosse Pointe Garden Society has fans wondering who the characters are burying at the beginning of the series — but how is everyone connected before the murder?

In Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip, Melissa Fumero, Aja Naomi King, Ben Rappaport and AnnaSophia Robb break down the family tree at the center of the hit NBC series.

“Our four main characters are all a part of the society but in some ways, they feel like total outsiders,” Fumero, 42, who plays Birdie, shares in the video.

Robb, 31, started by introducing her character, Alice, adding, “[She] is an English teacher and an aspiring writer with big dreams to have her stories published. Plus Alice’s friend and fellow garden club member Brett kind of has a crush on her.”

'Grosse Pointe Garden Society' Star-Studded Cast: Where You Know Them From

While offering more insight on Brett, Rappaport, 38, teased where the story goes from here. “Brett is a divorcée who is fighting for custody of his kids. He is a dad but like a cool dad,” he quipped. “Alice is married to Doug but Doug’s parents don’t exactly approve of Alice’s writing dreams.”

Grosse Pointe Garden Society Characters Are Connected to Each Other Ahead of the Murder
Ben Rappaport as Brett, Melissa Fumero as Birdie, AnnaSophia Robb as Alice and Aja Naomi King as Catherine Mark Hill/NBC

Then there is Catherine, who King, 40, described as Alice and Brett’s “closest friend” in the garden club.

“She’s a real estate agent and even though she is married to Tucker, she is having a salacious affair with a guy from work named Gary,” King continued. “Catherine and Birdie start off as rivals but they eventually bond over how awful Gary is.”

Fumero’s Birdie might not love to garden but the actress noted, “She only joined the club as part of her mandated community service. But she’s genuinely trying to contribute to the club in her own and unique way.”

Ultimately, everyone’s “messy personal lives get unexpectedly entangled when they are forced to come together to cover up a mysterious murder,” according to Rappaport. Grosse Pointe Garden Society, which premiered in February, opened with a scene from present time where the core four are burying a body.

Flashbacks to six months prior showed a very different situation. “Throughout the episodes, we go through different parallel timelines. We jump back and forth between timelines,” Rappaport teased to Us in February. “So you’re like, ‘Wow, how did we end up here?’ Then throughout the season, those timelines begin to converge.”

Rappaport praised creators Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs for bringing the series to life. “It is remarkable how they have woven this thing together. The roller-coaster ride they’ve taken us on is absolutely incredible every day,” he shared. “Every couple of weeks, we would get the new scripts and react like, ‘Oh my God, what happens next?’ And we’re just dying for the next one.”

Rappaport continued: “All four of us have our own very intricate story lines that branch off of this. Truly, it just keeps you guessing all along the way. And that’s the thing that’s going to hook people is the addictive quality. Every episode you think you’re getting closer — but then maybe you’re not.”

What to Know About NBC's Murder Mystery 'Grosse Pointe Garden Society'

While viewers await more answers, they shouldn’t expect them too soon.

Grosse Pointe Garden Society Characters Are Connected to Each Other Ahead of the Murder
Mark Hill/NBC

“With other shows, you find out who’s getting killed and the premise of the mystery becomes the why or the how. We’re giving audiences the fun of not knowing anything — just like these characters going into it — not knowing that this is where they’re going to end up,” King exclusively told Us earlier this month. “It’s exciting for all of us to be on that ride together. Because we didn’t know for the bulk of filming. It’s so satisfying. I’m really proud of what they’ve done there.”

King praised Grosse Pointe Garden Society for its unique storytelling, adding, “The feel of the show, the excitement and the flash-forwards. There are so many aspects of it that are really thrilling, sexy and have these kind of absurdist comedic moments, which I really love. But then it’ll also have these moments of really grounded and relational drama between characters that for me as an actor are a dream to dive into. There’s nothing like this show on TV right now, which I think is what makes it really exciting.”

Grosse Pointe Garden Society airs on NBC Sundays at 10 p.m. ET, and new episodes are available to stream on Peacock the next day.

John Legend’s Battle Round on ‘The Voice’ Uncovers Real ‘Star Potential’

John Legend better prepare to make one very difficult decision on The Voice.

In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek at the Monday, March 17, episode of NBC’s singing competition series, Bryson Battle and Ari Camille are ready to face off against each other in the Battle Rounds.

After the singers perform their own rendition of Muni Long’s “Made for Me,” the coaches are left questioning which talented artist deserves to advance to the next round.

“Bryson, I wanted so desperately to have you on my team,” Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine shares in the clip. “You can’t sing better than that. Now Ari, your character and who you were as a vocalist was just as present as Bryson. … It wouldn’t be an easy decision to make.”

'The Voice' Winners Through the Years: Where Are They Now?

Kelsea Ballerini couldn’t pick one artist over the other after praising each of their voices.

“I’m just impressed with both of you separately and together,” she says. “I think there’s just a beautiful journey for both of you to have.”

While Michael Bublé thinks both Bryson and Ari are “genius,” he couldn’t help but praise Ari for being “a joy to watch.”

“There’s a lot of light that pours out of you, and I love listening to you,” he shares. “You were flawless.”

Ultimately, John has to make the final call and he’s more conflicted than ever before.

Tyler Golden/NBC

“Ari, I just see so much star potential in you, and I see how charismatic you are, and I think the future is so bright for you,” he says in the sneak peek. “Bryson, everybody’s jaws are on the floor seeing the things you can do with your voice.”

“Both of you are just immensely talented and have a bright future,” he adds.

While viewers will have to watch The Voice Monday night to see who John picks, it’s clear the competition is stacked with many talented artists.

Blake Shelton and Adam Levine's Friendship Through the Years

During the Battle Rounds, the coaches pair up two artists on their team to sing the same song together. After their joint performance, their coach must choose only one to advance to the next round titled the Knockouts.

The other, however, does not necessarily have to be eliminated that night thanks to a coveted button called the steal. Another coach can choose to use the button and have the singer come on their team.

The Voice airs on NBC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. Stream old episodes anytime on Peacock.

Prince William Shares Soccer Superstitions With Kids

Prince William revealed the quirky superstitious tradition he shares with his children while watching his favorite U.K. soccer team, Aston Villa F.C.

“If I’m home alone with the children, I probably don’t have the pre-match pint but I do have a bit of superstition about where I sit when I’m watching them,” William, 42, said in an interview with The Sun, published on Thursday, March 13.

“If we’re not doing very well, I start moving ‘round the house quite quickly and I put the children in different positions hoping that’s going to change our luck,” he added.

William shares three children with his wife, Princess Kate Middleton: Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

Father-Son Day! William and George Twin at Aston Villa Soccer Match

The Prince of Wales told the outlet that while he has encouraged his kids to get involved with soccer, he doesn’t mind if they grow up supporting different teams.

“I’m kind of hoping they’ll all find their own teams in time,” William said.

“I’m trying not to be biased but obviously they see how passionate I am about it and they watch the matches with me. I’m trying to spread the love a little bit,” he added.

Back in January, William bought a round of drinks for Aston Villa fans at a pub in Birmingham, England, before a match.

The visit was pre-arranged by the soccer club after William asked to be put in touch with some of its biggest supporters, a Kensington Palace spokesperson previously told Us Weekly.

“I like mixing with the fans,” William told The Sun. “Anything Villa I love and they all love their Villa.”

“It’s a family within a family and I do feel part of the Villa family. This club does an awful lot — and I know lots of clubs do it too — but I particularly feel it with Villa in my life that I’m very included,” he continued.

Prince William Cheers on Aston Villa Soccer Team During Solo Public Outing

As for Kate, the royal mom is closely involved with Prince Louis’ soccer matches. In October 2024, a fan posted photos of the royal as she supported her youngest son playing in a local soccer team.

“I was thinking, ‘Why on earth is she there?’ That’s the most bizarre thing ever,” the fan said in a TikTok video. “She looked comfortable. She looked like she didn’t have much makeup on. She was obviously trying to stay hidden with the cap and the clothing, but everyone knew it was her.”

Michelle Williams Opens Fan Mail Meant for Her Name Twin Actress

Michelle Williams welcomes fan mail, but when fans say her name, say her name, they aren’t always referring to the former Destiny’s Child singer.

Williams, 45, took some time to answer letters from fans as she’s in New York City starring on Broadway in Death Becomes Her. She uploaded a hilarious update via Instagram on Monday, March 10, where she highlighted one in particular from a fan named Phillip.

“Dear Michelle Williams, I hope this letter finds you in great spirits,” the letter began. “My name is Phillip and I have been an avid fan of your incredible performances in both film and theater. Your work in Blue Valentine, Manchester by the Sea [and] The Greatest Showman has deeply moved me and many others, showcasing your exceptional talent.”

Phillip, of course, made a bugaboo and meant to send the letter to the actress Michelle Williams of Dawson’s Creek fame, not the one who sang alongside Beyoncé in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

How Celebs With Similar Names Feel About Being Confused for Each Other

“I am writing to kindly ask if you would consider signing the enclosed photos I have of you,” the letter continued. “Furthermore, I wish you all the best and much success with your current production of Death Becomes Her at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. I am sure that your captivating performance will leave a lasting impression on the audience.”

“Phillip, thank you so much,” Williams said, showing the photos Phillip enclosed, which were clearly of the other Michelle Williams.

“Michelle knows what’s going on as well, and I cannot wait to see her, hopefully sooner than later,” she said.

She also shouted out her actual fans before closing the video.

Michelle Williams Through the Years: From ‘Dawson’s Creek’ to the Oscars

“Let me admit, I do get a lot of other fan mail that is actually addressed to me. This Michelle Williams,” she said. “I just wanna acknowledge that.”

Fans in the comments were jumpin’ jumpin’ at Williams’ humor, including Valorie Burton, who left an emoji-filled reply.

“Noooooooo😂😂😂,” she wrote. “I was a little confused about those movie titles. [Your] sense of humor is 🔥🔥😂😂😂.”

Nicole Scherzinger added, “OMGGGGG I CANNOT EVEN🙈🤣🥴you have me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🫠 sis!!!!!”

Perhaps Williams should have seen the writing on the wall. She has spoken about this confusion before, talking about it on a 2019 livestream via X.

“How come when y’all are tagging and congratulating a person, do y’all see that I’m Black?” she asked. “When you go to my profile, you search for the ‘Michelle Williams,’ I am Black. OK? I ain’t mixed with nothing, I ain’t mixed with Persian, Russian, I am Black.”

Fan mail is one thing, but the Destiny’s Child singer should be thankful she doesn’t also get the actress’ bills, bills, bills.

'Ghost Adventures' Cast Is 'Shocked' by Aaron Goodwin’s Divorce News

The Ghost Adventures cast and crew were surprised by Aaron Goodwin’s divorce from Victoria Goodwin following her arrest.

“The rest of the cast was shocked by the news. No one knew anything was wrong in their relationship,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Everyone who works on the show can’t believe this is happening. They are all currently in a state of shock.”

In addition to Aaron, the paranormal investigation series stars Zak Bagans, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley. Aaron, 48, and Bagans, 47, have been leading the show since its 2008 premiere. Tolley, 52, and Walsey worked behind the scenes before joining the main cast in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

While filming for Ghost Adventures’ upcoming season “recently wrapped up,” the team is rallying behind Aaron. According to the insider, the group is “trying to be supportive of Aaron by reaching out and offering to help in any way they can.”

'Ghost Adventures' Star Files for Divorce After Wife's Alleged Murder Plot

“The cast and producers are all a tight knit group,” the source adds.

Us exclusively revealed on Thursday, March 13, that Aaron filed for divorce from Victoria, 32. According to the filing, the pair wed on May 4, 2020, the date Aaron previously shared was supposed to be the day of the wedding ceremony which was pushed back two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The paperwork also stated there was no chance for a reconciliation between the twosome.

“The views, tastes, likes and dislikes of husband and wife have become incompatible to the extent that it has become impossible for them to live together … in marital harmony,” the docs read. “There is no possibility of reconciliation.”

The news of the pair’s divorce comes days after Victoria was arrested on charges of soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder. Victoria was held on $100,000 bail. (TMZ was the first to report the news on Monday, March 10.)

According to police reports obtained by Us, Victoria had been in contact with a prison inmate in Florida named Grant Amato about wanting to leave her and Aaron’s marriage. Instead of seeking a legal way to end the relationship, Victoria allegedly sought out a hitman. One of her alleged text messages read, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”

'Ghost Adventures’ Star's Wife Accused of Murder for Hire: What We Know

In October 2024, Victoria allegedly shared information about Aaron’s whereabouts while he was away filming Ghost Adventures in California. She allegedly agreed to pay Amato $11,515 and had spoken about a $2,500 upfront payment.

“He’s asleep right now in the hotel room … I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?” another alleged text read.

Law enforcement learned of the alleged murder plot when they seized Amato’s phone at the prison. Victoria has denied wanting to have her husband killed and claimed that she didn’t remember sending those messages, per the arrest report.

Gene Hackman’s Will Leaves $80 Million to Late Wife Betsy Arakawa

Details about the late Gene Hackman’s will have been revealed, but it seems things are still up in the air.

Us Weekly can confirm that Hackman left his entire estate to late wife and successor trustee, Betsy Arakawa, whose death preceded his by one week. (Daily Mail was first to report the news on Thursday, March 13, claiming Hackman left behind an $80 million fortune.)

Documents obtain by Us confirm that the actor’s will hadn’t been updated since June 2005.

Some reports have speculated that, due to Arakawa’s death, the money could be passed on to his three children: Christopher, 65, Elizabeth, 62, and Leslie, 58, whom he shared with late ex-wife Faye Maltese. They were not listed in the will. (The Daily Mail reported that Christopher has since hired an estate attorney.)

Medical Examiner: Gene Hackman Might Not Have Known Wife Betsy Had Died

Us Weekly confirmed on February 27 that Hackman, 95, and Arakawa, 64, were found dead at their Santa Fe home. After nearly one week of unanswered questions about the nature of their deaths, chief medical examiner for New Mexico Dr. Heather Jarrell determined the respective causes.

“The cause of death for Mrs. Hackman is hantavirus pulmonary syndrome. The cause of death is natural,” Dr. Jarrell said. It’s believed that she died on the evening of February 11.

Authorities believe that Hackman died a week later, on February 18, due to hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease with Alzheimer’s disease as a significant contributing factor.

Hackman’s estate has since reportedly filed a legal petition to keep sensitive images regarding the actor and his wife’s death investigation out of the public eye.

“A preliminary injunction is necessary to protect the estates of Mr. Hackman and Ms. Arakawa-Hackman’s right to privacy,” the document, which was filed on March 11, read.

Gene Hackman and Wife Betsy Arakawa’s Relationship Timeline

Prior to their deaths, Hackman and Arakawa “placed significant value on their privacy and took affirmative, vigilant steps to safeguard their privacy,” the document stated. Their estate is asking the same courtesy be placed on the details regarding their deaths, especially when it comes to photos and video, including body-cam footage.

Amanda Lavin, the legal director at the nonprofit New Mexico Foundation for Open Government, released a statement in the wake of the petition filed by Hackman’s estate. She argued that it could impact public accountability.

“I do think it does infringe on transparency if the court were to prohibit release of all the investigation records, including the autopsies,” she told the Associated Press. “The whole idea of those records being available is to ensure accountability in the way those investigations are done.”

Why Did The Valley’s Zack Call Out 'VPR' Stars Who Unfollowed James Kennedy?

Zack Wickham has heard about several Vanderpump Rules alums unfollowing James Kennedy after his recent drama — but The Valley star wants to know what took people so long to publicly cut ties.

“I find it s—ty that the final straw for you all to unfollow him was when he posted a picture with problematic horrible people, not when he was a problematic horrible person to your friend,” Wickham, 31, wrote via X on Thursday, March 13.

Wickham specifically clarified that his post wasn’t about a specific person — instead it was about everyone. “And the answer is yes to everyone you think this is about,” he added.

Before Wickham’s subtle social media shade, Bravo fans pointed out that Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix were no longer following Kennedy, 33, on Instagram. None of them have addressed the online shift, which came days after Kennedy apologized for posting a photo with Andrew and Tristan Tate.

James Kennedy's Most Controversial Moments: Fired From SUR, Arrest and More

“I regret posting a photo with the Tate brothers at an event last night,” Kennedy wrote via Instagram Stories on Saturday, March 8, about the brothers who have faced multiple accusations of sexual assault and human trafficking charges, which they have denied. “I was unfamiliar with their content and the allegations against them. I only knew them as podcasters [who] had posted a viral clip about Vanderpump.”

Kennedy continued: “I have since educated myself and condemn their beliefs. I am sorry to all that I offended.”

Wickham has been outspoken about not being on good terms with Kennedy because of his friendship with Kennedy’s ex Kristen Doute. Their volatile relationship was documented for several seasons when Kennedy joined Vanderpump Rules during season 3. After their split, Kennedy was engaged to Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, who also hinted at a tumultuous relationship when cameras weren’t rolling.

In December 2024, Us Weekly confirmed that police were dispatched to Kennedy’s home, where he lived with then-girlfriend Ally Lewber. The authorities received a call about an argument between a man and a woman and saw Kennedy allegedly grabbing the woman. Officers who responded to the scene did not see any visible injuries.

According to police records, the woman reportedly told the Burbank Police Department that “her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground.” Kennedy’s legal team subsequently released a statement on his behalf.

“We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,” his attorneys said in a statement to Us after he was released on $20,000 bail. “We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast’s Dating History

Lewber, 29, broke her silence before Us confirmed their split.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “I’m OK and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”

After the authorities confirmed they wouldn’t be pressing charges, Lewber elaborated on the incident, writing in January, “Thank you all for your support and kindness. I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James, as I never desired criminal charges. We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt.”

She continued: “We are no longer together, but I’ll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing. Thank you for your understanding.”

Most of Kennedy’s former VPR costars didn’t publicly address his legal problems. Shay, 39, and Lala Kent were the only ones who spoke out despite having concerns about entering the conversation.

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast's Biggest Scandals and Controversies

“I do hope that James views this as a rock-bottom moment and is serious about just committing to a healing plan vs. just seeing this is something that’s gonna, like, ruin the world tour or residency or whatever,” Shay said on her “Scheananigans” podcast in January. “I’ve noticed his name has been taken off of certain shows and that is a direct consequence to his actions.”

Shay urged Kennedy “to get help,” noting, “And not just to prevent Ally — or some other girl — from being subjected to abusive behavior in the future. But to give himself a chance to live life with healthy relationships. I know he wants those things for himself and he needs to give himself the proper tools to deal with his trauma that doesn’t involve projecting it onto others.”

Cluck, Cluck! Cate Blanchett and More Stars Who Have Pet Chickens

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Jennifer Garner and more celebrities have expanded their families with pet chickens.

“She’s always wanted chickens,” the Duke of Sussex said of his wife during their March 2021 CBS tell-all interview, giving a tour of their chicken coop.

Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, who moved to California in 2020 after stepping down from their duties as senior royals, added a home for their rescued chickens in “Archie’s Chick Inn.” (The coop’s name refers to their eldest son Archie, who was born in May 2019.)

The Suits alum, who noted that she just “[loves] rescuing” animals from chickens to her pet dogs, further gushed about their new residence in Montecito, California. “It’s so basic, but it’s really fulfilling. Just getting back down to basics,” Meghan, who welcomed daughter Lilibet with the duke in June 2021, added at the time.

Roberts and husband Danny Moder, who share three children, also raise a flock of chickens.
“My husband is a very healthy and environmentally minded person, so we grow food at our house,” the Runaway Bride star told InStyle in September 2014. “We raise chickens for eggs. We live in a world where really fresh produce and organic food are a financial luxury, so if we have that luxury I'm going to take advantage of it for my family.”

The Saved by the Bell alum and husband Brady Smith both grew up raising chickens and were interested in passing on the tradition to their own children.
“Brady designed a huge chicken condo and brought home many more chickens than I thought we had originally discussed,” Thiessen wrote on her blog in 2015. “[Our daughter] Harper was so excited so how do you say no, right? And my husband kept insisting that it’ll being easy. He would say, ‘Don’t worry babe, this is my thing. I’ll handle it all.’ So of course I went along with it. At first it was great. I loved how it taught our daughter about responsibility. She always had a love of animals but this took the cake. She adored these chickens. They became a part of our family quickly.”

A Timeline of Katie Thurston's Breast Cancer Battle

Katie Thurston was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2025 at the age of 34.

“I had a small lump in my breast around the 10’oclock [sic] spot,” the former Bachelorette wrote via her Instagram Stories that same month. “I discovered it myself. Thought maybe it was my period [or] maybe it was muscle soreness from working out. But, eventually, this lump never went away.”

Thurston subsequently visited her doctor for a mammogram, which indicated the presence of cancerous tissue. She later underwent a biopsy to learn more about the type of cancer.

“Good news! My cancer hasn’t metastasize[d],” Thurston shared via her Instagram Stories on February 21, 2025, noting the malignant tissue was confined in her lymph nodes. “Two more appointments left in LA before officially moving to NYC [on] March 1st. The anticipated order of things is fertility (egg/embryo freezing), chemo, then surgery.”

Katie Thurston Diagnosed With Breast Cancer: 'Ready to Fight This'

Ahead of her cancer treatment, Thurston moved to the Big Apple with her fiancé, Jeff Arcuri. (Thurston and the comedian got engaged in late 2024.)

“I’m so thankful for my family, friends, and community here for helping me make it to my current stage [sic] of mind,” she added. “Today I feel calm, less scared, and ready.”

Keep scrolling for a full timeline of Thurston’s cancer battle:

Thurston discovered a lump in her breast in late 2024, noting the following February on her Instagram Stories that the pain continued for “three [or] four months.”

“My first lump [which was a benign cyst] felt like a pea or marble [and] hard, unnatural, but didn’t cause me discomfort. The second felt larger,” she recalled in February 2025. “The pain initially came and went, but maybe after 3-4 months of it not going away or improving, I got nervous and saw my doctor.”

Thurston had a breast ultrasound, a mammogram and multiple biopsies, which confirmed the presence of cancer.

February 2025

Thurston was diagnosed shortly before Valentine’s Day, revealing the news publicly several hours later.

“Yesterday I saw all the couples post their Valentine’s Day celebrations. I felt envious if I’m being honest. Jeff took me to Hawaii and after, we were going to travel the world before planting roots together in NYC finally,” she wrote via Instagram on February 15. “But instead, my Vday was spent coordinating a place to live as I have to go back to LA for more testing and treatment.”

She added, “I used my morning to figure out insurance for NYC and laws on preexisting conditions. I scheduled appointments for another biopsy, fertility, mental health, surgery, as well as meeting with my team to discuss the overall treatment plan, which will include chemo.”

Thurston had another biopsy, this time on her lymph nodes, on February 19.

“Finished biopsy. Went much better this time,” Thurston wrote via her Instagram Stories. “Took lorazepam, explained my last appt struggles and asked for more numbing, and they allowed Jeff to be there holding my hand.”

The biopsy indicated that Thurston’s cancer hadn’t metastasized further.

March 2025

At the start of the month, Thurston moved to NYC full-time before she started fertility treatments. The reality star opted to freeze embryos before undergoing chemotherapy.

“One day you think you don’t want kids,” she wrote on March 9. “Then one day you meet the man of your dreams and would do anything to make sure we can start a family in the future.”

Throughout March, Thurston continued planning her treatment protocol.

“I opted in for the I-Spy breast cancer trial instead of the standard of care,” she wrote on March 13. “The goal is to match treatments to patients used on the molecular and genetic characteristics of their tumors instead of a ‘one size fits all’ route. This all means I’ll have extra testing done in advance and during.”

That same day, she had an optometry appointment to “get [her] eyes checked out” to check if she still qualifies for the I-Spy clinical trial. One day later, Thurston underwent an egg retrieval.

The Pitt's Isa Briones Says Internalized Sexism Caused Santos, Langdon Bias

The Pitt‘s Isa Briones expressed her gratitude over the evolving discourse about her character, Santos, who turned out to be right about Langdon’s secret opioid addiction.

Briones, 26, took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, March 12, before the new episode of The Pitt, writing, “Thx to The Pitt fans for alerting me to the Dr. Santos megathread on reddit. I never read stuff online about my work. Too many people can be too cruel and i’m too sensitive for that. But I gave this a read because this was discourse over the character, not me or my looks.”

The actress found it “incredibly heartening” to see “nuanced conversation” on Reddit and elsewhere over Santos’ arc.

“Some people hate Santos. Some people love her. Many people love to hate her. And that’s great TV,” Briones noted. “That’s fantastic writing. And that’s also indicative of an extremely intelligent audience.”

What Noah Wyle Said About How 'The Pitt' Medical Drama Differs From 'ER'

Briones expressed appreciation for viewers willing to reconsider their judgment of Santos, adding, “I’ve been struck by how many people mention how great it feels to watch a truly complicated female character. And how many people’s bias against Santos in regards to Langdon made them think about their own internalized sexism.”

The Pitt Isa Briones Explains How Internalized Sexism Created Discourse Over Santos and Langdon
Max/Warrick Page

She concluded: “It’s truly a beautiful thing when great storytelling can make you feel so viscerally and want to commune and talk about it. Big kudos to our incredible writers for creating such a complicated woman, and thank you to the whole team for letting me portray her.”

The Pitt, which premiered on Max in January, follows a group of employees at a fictional Pittsburgh hospital’s ER working a single 15-hour shift. The first half of the season showed Dr. Santos being at odds with her supervisor Dr. Langdon (Patrick Ball), which caused some viewers to express their frustration with Santos, who is an intern working her first shift at the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital.

Santos ultimately turned out to be right about Langdon stealing drugs from the hospital. During an episode earlier this month, Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) angrily confronted Langdon about it and the senior resident admitted he developed an addiction after being prescribed medication following an injury.

The Pitt Isa Briones Explains How Internalized Sexism Created Discourse Over Santos and Langdon
Max/Warrick Page

“He refers to having hurt his back while helping his parents move and that is frequently the case. He goes to a doctor who gives him pain meds and then those are habit-forming pain meds. This happens all the time. This happens with people that I know that are very, very high functioning,” Ball exclusively told Us Weekly. “You see this opioid problem that is just riddling itself all across this country. It’s really sad because it’s not people that ever set out to become addicts. It’s people that trust and that get caught in a trap. That’s part of what happened with Langdon.”

ER's Noah Wyle Returns to Medical Dramas With ‘The Pitt’: Everything to Know

Briones, for her part, spoke to Us about how viewers may have judged her character too quickly.

“Not everyone is going to like Santos. But it is funny that when I’ve talked to people — even on set — they would be like, ‘Oh, you’re such a tattletale.’ At the end of the day though, this was something wrong that was going on and she exposed it,” she told Us. “Obviously she has a very aggressive way about her and can be pretty arrogant. Her carrying herself that way leads people to being kind of like, ‘What the hell are you doing? Stay in your lane.’ But at the end of the day, it was something that was wrong and needed to be reported. It is illegal.”

Briones was relieved to see that Santos was right, adding, “It’s a cool moment for the audience to be like, ‘OK, maybe that was right of her. I don’t like her. I don’t like what she did but maybe she was correct.’ It will also make the audience ask themselves what was their bias there? People wanted to really like him but then if Langdon is doing something wrong then why are they choosing to cover up for a man instead of believing a woman. That’s what made that story line very interesting.”

Emily Ann Roberts Shares What Ex 'Voice' Coach Blake Shelton Has Taught Her

It’s been a decade since Emily Ann Roberts finished The Voice season 9 as the runner-up, but she’s still close to her former coach, Blake Shelton — and now she’s opening for him on tour.

“Blake has been absolutely incredible from the get-go,” Roberts, 26, exclusively told Us Weekly ahead while discussing “Scratching Out a Living,” her new single. “I’ll never forget when I got off The Voice, he was calling me,saying, ‘So-and-so wants to meet with you, and I got this buddy that wants to work with you.’ He would call me out of the blue and make connections and check on me. He has just been such a great mentor.”

Shelton, 48, invited Roberts to open for him last year, and now she’s back on the road with him again as an opening act on his Friends and Heroes tour.

“A huge way that he is still supporting me is giving me this opportunity to go out on the road with him and share my music with his fans,” she said. “And that is something that you can’t even put a price tag on — the opportunity to stand in front of an audience that size and share your music with them is just invaluable. But also to be able to stand at front of house while he plays every single night and learn from him is better than any college or training you could ever have, because you’re learning from a pro who has done this for more years than I’ve probably been alive, almost, and done it so well.”

Emily Ann Roberts Set To Releases Highly Anticipated New Single
Jamie Wendt

Roberts has been playing and singing music since she was a teenager — she was still in high school when she appeared on The Voice — but she’s still soaking up everything she can from Shelton while they share a bill.

“The biggest thing that I have learned from being able to open up with him is being able to watch how he interacts with his audience and just how wonderful he is at pulling everybody in and making them feel a part of the experience instead of feeling like he’s the star up on the stage and everyone else is separate,” she told Us. “Some stars do that. They feel very untouchable, and Blake is the kind of person that makes you feel like y’all are friends from the minute he steps on the stage. And that is really special to get to learn from somebody like that.”

In between concert dates, Roberts has been in the studio working on new music, including her new single, “Scratching Out a Living,” which dropped Friday, March 14. The song’s title was inspired by wall art her mom had in their kitchen when Roberts was growing up: a picture of a rooster with the punny caption, “Scratching out a living.”

“When I was coming off the road, I’d been touring like crazy, and I got back to Nashville and I was writing with a friend of mine, Shane Minor,” she recalled. “I was so tired going into the writing session, and I told him, ‘I have heard all these songs about hard-working men, and I don’t feel like there’s enough music and songwriting geared towards hard-working women and all the responsibilities that fall on your shoulders as a working woman.’”

Singer Max McNown Gets Personal About Love and Heartbreak on New Single

Roberts began trying to think of “a cool way of saying I’m working my tail off,” and her mom’s rooster picture came to mind.

“I pitched it to Shane, and he loved it,” she said. “And this song came out real quickly because it’s very relatable to where I am in life right now and all the things that I go through just to get from sunup to sundown. I’m really hoping that other women especially will relate to it and hopefully feel seen in the hustle and the struggle of working hard.”

Emily Ann Roberts Set To Releases Highly Anticipated New Single
Jamie Wendt

The song follows in the grand tradition of ’90s classics like Deana Carter’s “Did I Shave My Legs for This?” and Shania Twain’s “Honey, I’m Home,” which Roberts says was by design.

“That’s the kind of music that I was raised on that made me fall in love with country music from the beginning,” she explained. “The way women just said it like it was and they didn’t always try to pretty it up or make it sound poetic, but it was just real life. And when I write, I always gravitate back towards that because that’s what made me fall in love with this genre in the first place. Folks have said that my sound is a little bit more throwback, and I try to put my own fresh spin on it.”

Sierra Hull Loved Making 1st Independent Album: 'I Owed It to Myself'

Roberts is working on the follow-up to her 2023 debut album, Can’t Hide Country, and she’s excited for fans to hear what’s next (although she can’t share any specifics about a potential release date).

“I’ve been working my little fanny off to get another record done and finished up,” she told Us. “I feel like with my first record, Can’t Hide Country, it was such an introduction. When you’re meeting somebody for the first time, you put your best foot forward, and maybe you don’t get that deep or that personal because you’re just meeting them. But now, with this second record, I’m like, ‘OK, folks know who I am. I’ve introduced myself, let’s get down to business.’ I feel like the rules are off the table and I can go even more deep and personal with my songwriting and my storytelling and what I wanna say.”

“Scratching Out a Living” is out now.

After 20 years of playing Meredith Grey on Grey’s Anatomy, Ellen Pompeo is thrilled that new audiences are still discovering the show — unless it’s her preteen daughter.

“My 15-year-old [daughter] has seen it, and now my 10-year-old wants to see it, which she’s not ready,” Pompeo, 55, said on the Thursday, March 13, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! “A lot of kids in her class have seen it.”

Pompeo shares daughters Stella and Sienna, as well as 8-year-old son Eli, with her husband, Chris Ivery. Throughout the bulk of the actress’ marriage, she has starred as Meredith on Grey’s Anatomy.

“No judgment on other parents, but I don’t want my daughter to see me in my underwear on television just yet,” Pompeo explained on Thursday, referring to her character’s many sex scenes on the show through the years. “All her classmates have, so that makes for great conversations!”

Ivery, 57, has been married to Pompeo since 2007 and also doesn’t keep up with Grey’s story lines. (Pompeo took a step back from the ABC medical drama during 2023’s season 19 but continues to make cameos and still serves as an executive producer.)

“There was a time back in the day that I watched it a lot, but then I didn’t know if she had a lover,” Ivery exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2019. “I would say I’m not jealous; I’m really confident, but it’s awkward. She’s acting but now she’s got this new lover, which I know him, Giacomo [Gianniotti].”

The record producer added, “He’s a great guy. I actually like him. And to be honest, I haven’t watched those scenes because I feel like it can be awkward.”

Gianniotti, 35, had played resident Andrew DeLuca on Grey’s until his character’s death in season 17. Meredith later sparked a romance with trauma surgeon Nick Marsh (Scott Speedman), who recently moved to Boston with her and her three kids.

Despite Meredith’s handful of onscreen romances, Ivery remains Pompeo’s “biggest fan.”

“What’s the secret? We’ve been doing it for a long time. I think the secret is taking the time that we need,” Ivery told Us. “Like if it’s me and her and we need a date night, we take it. It’s just sort of supporting each other. And, obviously, with three kids it’s ample. Her on set, me downtown, it’s a lot. But she’s my biggest fan. I’m her biggest fan.”

He continued, “We love going to games. We love going to, like, a Laker or Clipper game. We’ll go to a game and we’ll go out to dinner. We have an amazing place out in Malibu so sometimes we’ll go out there, stay out there for the weekend. Whatever. We’ll go out with friends for dinner.”

Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays on ABC at 10 p.m. ET.

TV Shows Turned Into an Anthology Series After Getting Renewed

The Perfect Couple, Cruel Summer and Scream are just some of the TV shows that pivoted to an anthology format — after getting renewed.

The Disney series, which premiered in October 2023, took inspiration from R.L. Stine‘s popular horror novels. Goosebumps was introduced as a show that followed five teenagers who had to work together after accidentally releasing supernatural forces into their small town. While trying to recapture the evil spirits, the group unlocked secrets of their parents’ pasts.

Goosebumps starred Isa Briones, Ana Yi Puig, Zack Morris, Miles McKenna and Will Price as the show’s protagonists. However, when the series was renewed four months later, Disney confirmed there would be a cast and story shakeup.

Season 2 will now feature new stars, a new setting and a new mystery for the characters to solve. The writing team — which is led by showrunner Hilary Winston — is expected to return to continue to bring Stine’s vision to life.

The decision to wipe the slate clean previously affected Freeform’s Cruel Summer as well. The teen drama originally followed Kate Wallis (Olivia Holt) and Jeanette Turner (Chiara Aurelia) as viewers found themselves caught between two different sides of a story about a kidnapping.

Freeform shocked fans when the network picked Cruel Summer up for another season but with a new group at the center of the show. Season 2 premiered in June 2023 and focused on a tumultuous friendship between Megan (Sadie Stanley) and Isabella (Lexi Underwood) as they became prime suspects in Luke Chambers’ (Griffin Gluck) death.

Deadline reported in March 2025 that The Perfect Couple would return on Netflix but as an anthology. A second season would adapt a different Elin Hilderbrand novel titled "Swan Song."

As season 1 started streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, viewers quickly fell in love with the unlikely friend group featuring Isaac, Margot, James, Isabella and Lucas. The season finale set up plenty of obstacles for the group to face in the future, which is why it came as a surprise when instead the streamer renewed the show as an anthology.
Season 2 is expected to follow teenage siblings who discover a threat within their home. According to the synopsis, they subsequently set off "a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery.” The duo then find themselves "entangled in the story of five teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994.”

The hit series, which debuted in April 2021, introduced a unique form of storytelling by capturing moments throughout three timelines. During the first season, viewers followed Kate Wallis, who was kidnapped and later rescued, and Jeanette Turner, who was accused of knowing the whereabouts of the missing girl.
Season 2, meanwhile, centered on Megan and Isabella's ups and downs, which seemed to be connected to Luke's murder. The show was canceled in December 2023, five months after the season 2 finale.

In 2015, MTV took the success of the Scream movie franchise and introduced a similar concept on the small screen. The TV series focused on murders that took place in the fictional town of Lakewood. Emma Duval (Willa Fitzgerald) found herself taunted by the killer due to her connection to the town's dark history and her friend group ultimately got involved as well.
Bex Taylor-Klaus, Carlson Young, John Karna, Amadeus Serafini, Connor Weil, Tom Maden, Kiana Brown and Santiago Segura were some of the cast members that made Scream fans grow attached to the show.
However, in October 2016 the series was picked up for a third season as a reboot. The short-lived attempt, which was titled Scream: Resurrection, introduced a new setting and new stars such as Tyga, Tyler Posey and Keke Palmer. Scream: The TV Series has since been canceled.

Based on the 1996 film of the same name, Fargo premiered on FX in 2014 with Billy Bob Thornton, Allison Tolman, Colin Hanks and Martin Freeman leading the cast. The first season, however, was later left as its own story with the next episodes focused on a different era and location. Fargo has since released four more seasons, which have minor overlap and are all heavily influenced by various Coen brothers films.

The HBO show, which premiered in July 2021, was originally intended to be a six-part limited series. In response to the show’s resounding success, HBO renewed The White Lotus as an anthology series, with each new season focused on the guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain.
Season 1 starred Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Lacy, Natasha Rothwell and Sydney Sweeney. Coolidge was the only one to reprise her role in season 2 alongside Will Sharpe, Aubrey Plaza, Haley Lu Richardson, Theo James, Adam DiMarco, Meghann Fahy, Beatrice Grannò, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciatore and Leo Woodall.
The dark comedy has since been renewed for a third season, which will bring back Rothwell after she originally appeared in season 1.
