You may have noticed a distinct lack of science fiction options at the box office this summer unless you countJurassic World Rebirth.
But if you’re looking for something out of this world, you’re going to need some help finding suitable options for the July 4th holiday weekend.
That’s what the Watch With Us team is here to provide, and we’ve already put together our picks for the three must-watch sci-fi movies to stream on the Fourth of July weekend.
And all of our picks can easily be found on Netflix.
You wouldn’t expect a movie about humanity’s war with a giant race of alien bugs to be funny without slipping into farce, but director Paul Verhoeven‘s satirical touch added a lot of flavor to Robert A. Heinlein‘s Starship Troopers. Amusingly, a lot of the humor from the propaganda segments flew over the heads of contemporary reviewers, and it’s only been accepted as a cult classic in the years since its release.
Johnny Rico (Casper Van Dien), Carmen Ibanez (Denise Richards), Dizzy Flores (Dina Meyer) and Carl Jenkins (Neil Patrick Harris) are emblematic of humanity’s intergalactic hubris. They joined Earth’s military service straight out of school and they collectively felt invincible. That sensation evaporates after a shocking attack on Earth proves that the alien bugs can strike them from afar. When the human forces face the bugs directly, the odds are overwhelmingly against them.
Godzilla Minus One is a throwback Godzilla movie that lets the title creature be the antagonist of the movie instead of forcing him to be a hero. The story begins in the last days of World War II, as kamikaze pilot Kōichi Shikishima (Ryunosuke Kamiki) pretends to have engine trouble to get out of the suicide attack. That leads him to encounter Godzilla for the first time, and his cowardliness in that situation haunts him in the aftermath.
As Shikishima slowly rebuilds his life and begins caring for a young woman, Noriko Ōishi (Minami Hamabe), and the orphaned baby she saved, he once again encounters Godzilla. The creature is more powerful each time, and it may take a greater sacrifice from Shikishima to save Japan from Godzila’s wrath.
Despite appearances of several very familiar sci-fi tropes, Rebel Moon Part One: A Child of Fire is not a Star Wars movie. But it sure feels like writer and director Zack Snyder wanted to play in that universe. Sofia Boutella stars as Kora, a former soldier for the galactic Imperium who has hidden her identity and reinvented herself as a farmer on a distant moon called Veldt.
When the Imperium arrives with demands that would force the residents of Veldt to starve, Kora fights back against the oppressors. With only a short time before the Imperium returns with reinforcements, Kora recruits like-minded rebels Titus (Djimon Hounsou), Kai (Charlie Hunnam), Nemesis (Bae Doona), Tarak (Staz Nair) and more to help her defend Veldt. And despite Kora’s best efforts, even these warriors may not be able to turn the tide in her favor.

In a lengthy post shared via Instagram on Friday, July 4, the actress, 52, spoke about her grief after news broke that the Australian actor had died following a private battle with cancer. He was 56.
“I’m heartbroken,” Milano wrote in the lengthy tribute. “Julian McMahon was magic. That smile. That laugh. That talent. That presence. He walked into a room and lit it up—not just with charisma, but with kindness. With mischief. With soulful understanding.”
Milano shared a series of images in the post, which included selfies of the pair as well as photos from their work together. Milano played Phoebe Halliwell in Charmed, while McMahon played her love interest Cole Turner throughout the series.
“We spent years together on Charmed — years of scenes, stories, and so many in-between moments. He made me feel safe as an actor. Seen as a woman. He challenged me, teased me, supported me. We were so different, and yet somehow we always understood each other,” she continued. “Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend. The kind who checks in. The kind who remembers. The kind who shares. The kind who tells you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable — but always with love.”
Milano sent her condolences to McMahon’s family in the wake of the tragic news.

“My heart is with Kelly, with Madison, and with Iliana—his girls, his world. He adored them. You could feel it in every conversation, every story, every text. He was a family man above all, and he loved deeply,” Milano wrote.
Concluding the post, Milano added, “Losing him feels unreal. Too soon. Too unfair. Rest, my friend. I’ll carry your laugh with me. Forever Cole. Forever Julian.”

We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”

Ioan Gruffudd, who worked alongside McMahon on the Fantastic Four movies, also paid tribute.
“This is terribly sad news about Julian,” Gruffudd, 51, wrote. “Even though we played each other’s nemeses, there was always so much lightness and laughter working together. Every encounter with him was a joy.”

“Oh my gosh, I’m completely shocked and saddened by it,” Carlson, 49, said in the footage. “I didn’t know he wasn’t well for a while.”
Nicolas Cage, who starred alongside McMahon in the recent film, The Surfer, paid tribute in a statement shared with Deadline.

He was a kind and intelligent man. My love to his family.”
Kelly Clarkson has pulled the plug on her Las Vegas residency at the 11th hour, postponing the opening until a later date in order to protect her voice.
The “Since U Been Gone” singer, 43, made the announcement with a statement shared via her Instagram account on Friday, July 4.
“We have been working 24/7 to make Studio Sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans,” Clarkson explained in the statement. “I am beyond grateful that you always show up for me and I am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow’s opening at Caesars. The prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice.”
The post continued: “I want the shows to be perfect for y’all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve. The show is truly incredible. The musicians and singers are outstanding, and I want us all to start out strong. I can’t wait to be back next weekend and show y’all what we’ve been working on.”
Clarkson was due to commence her “Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions – The Las Vegas Residency” at Caesars Palace on Friday, July 4. A total of 18 performances were scheduled until November 15.
The announcement drew mixed reactions from her social media followers, with some voicing concern for her health while others expressed their disappointment at the last-minute notice.

“When you ACTUALLY sing live, you are allowed this grace. Rest that incredible instrument ” wrote one follower, while another added, “Came from Texas to see you! Sending love – rest up and feel better soon! ”
Another wrote, “I’m a huge fan and flew here from Boston spending thousands on tickets and hotels to see your show tomorrow for my 40th birthday. I really want you to be healthy but cancelling this late has such a huge financial impact on your loyal fans ”
Echoing a similar sentiment, another follower commented, “I wish you would’ve done this sooner than 15 mins before doors opening. I hope you feel better.”
The Vegas residency was first announced back in February via a press release.
“I’m so excited to be back in Vegas!” Clarkson said via a statement at the time. “We’re bringing the studio to the stage this time with ‘Studio Sessions!’ See y’all there!”
Kelly Carlson, who played the onscreen love interest of Julian McMahon in Nip/Tuck, has shared an emotional video reacting to his death at age 56.
The actress, 49, told followers via a video posted via Instagram on Friday, July 4 that she was “shocked and saddened” to learn of her former costar’s death following a private battle with cancer.
“I just heard about the passing of Julian McMahon and I’ve gotten a lot of really nice messages on Instagram and I just checked ‘cause I was just told and I was trying to verify it, right? Because people can say stuff like that, but it looks to be true — and oh, my gosh, I’m completely shocked and saddened by it,” she said in the footage.
“I didn’t know he wasn’t well for a while. But I will say my heart goes out to Kelly, his wife, his daughter and Brooke Burns, his ex-wife, who they remain close friends and raise their daughter together and I think he has a sister…”
Carlson portrayed Kimber Henry on medical drama Nip/Tuck from 2003 to 2010, while McMahon played Christian Troy.
“It’s tough to process a little bit because he played my on-and-off husband for several years, [he] was a good friend and my acting partner,” Carlson added. “Anyways, Jules, thank you for a great seven years on Nip/Tuck together and we had so much fun.”
The actress went on to add that she didn’t blame any fans of the show and of McMahon for feeling equally upset about the news and noted she found solace in the fact he had enjoyed a good life.
The death of the actor, who was also known for his roles in Charmed, Fantastic Four and FBI: Most Wanted, was announced by his wife Kelly McMahon via a statement made to Deadline on Friday, July 4.
“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” Kelly told Deadline in a statement. “Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible. We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”
Taking to social media, the Duchess of Sussex shared an Instagram post on Friday, July 4 revealing why the date is such a special day for the couple.
“Our second date was the 4th of July 2016 and H brought me cupcakes to celebrate,” Meghan, 43, explained in the caption alongside a carousel of photos.
To mark the occasion, the Suits alum shared a rare candid photo of herself cozying up to Harry, 40, during the date. Also among the images were photos of cupcakes decorated in red, white and blue to suit the festivities.
“Now, all these years later, our two children are in on the tradition,” she added. Happy Independence Day! May your day be as sweet as these cupcakes ”
The pair began dating in 2016 after being introduced by mutual friends and announced their engagement in 2017.
Meghan officially confirmed their romance via a cover story for Vanity Fair that was published in September 2017.
“We’re a couple. We’re in love,” she told the magazine. “I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time. This is for us. It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours. But we’re happy. Personally, I love a great love story.”
In May 2018, the fairytale continued as Meghan and Harry tied the knot in an elaborate royal wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, England.
It wasn’t long before they started a family, with the couple welcoming their first child, son Archie in May 2019. Their daughter Lilibet, named after Queen Elizabeth II’s nickname, arrived in June 2021.
Meghan and Harry made waves in 2020 when they stepped away from their duties as working royals and opted to move out of the U.K. and do things on their own terms.
While part of the Royal Family, Meghan shut down her social media accounts but resurrected her Instagram in recent months and has been sharing snippets from her personal life with her family.
Appearing on the “Aspire With Emma Grede” podcast in June, Meghan spoke about how empowering it has been for her to return.
“It doesn’t feel like a drag, it feels liberating,” Meghan said on the podcast. “I have to look again, what was my intention? I came back, started the account in January of this year.”
Meghan added that her Instagram return allowed her to “get my voice back” and share content on her own terms.
“Part of it is just being able to authentically share in real time the things that are happening that I think someone might be able to laugh with or enjoy or be inspired by,” she explained.
Most of Us mean to share our stories. We tell ourselves we’ll write them down someday, record a few family videos and pass along the details no one else knows. But life moves fast, and those stories slip away before we realize it. That’s the problem Autograph AI was built to solve.
Autograph AI is not another genealogy app or dusty scrapbook you’ll forget on a shelf. It’s designed to feel like a living, breathing portrait of who you are — capturing the big milestones, career moves, inside jokes and the small things that make you you.
Each week, you hop on a call with Walter, an AI interviewer who asks thoughtful questions about your childhood, relationships, lessons you wish you learned sooner and hopes you still hold on to. The conversations are saved in a secure vault, and over time, it becomes a digital model that speaks in your own voice and style, so your family can “hear” you even years from now.
“The weekly calls with the AI are so natural, it’s like chatting with an old friend. I look forward to them every week,” said one reviewer.
Another shared, “Autograph gives me comfort knowing my loved ones will always have a piece of me.”
Usually, Autograph AI is $30 a month, but right now they’re offering 30% off with code SUMMER30. It’s one of those rare gifts that’s for you and the people you love most.

The Bombshell actress is far from the only female star to speak frankly about age-gap relationships or flings. Cher has proudly acknowledged dating younger men (including Tom Cruise, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and Val Kilmer) throughout her life, while Kristin Cavallari insisted she “100 percent didn’t give a s***” about anyone criticizing her romance with a 24-year-old in 2024.
“[My now ex-boyfriend Mark Estes] is in a place where he’s ready for a relationship and so here we f***ing are. This man makes me really happy right now,” the former The Hills star told podcast listeners.
Keep scrolling for Theron and more female stars opening up about dating younger partners:

The Academy Award winner disclosed to Alex Cooper on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in June 2025 that she’d recently had a one-night stand with a 26-year-old.
“I’ve probably had three one-night stands in my entire life,” Theron, then 49, confessed. “But I did just recently f*** a 26-year-old and it was really f***ing amazing. And I’ve never done that. I was like, ‘Oh, this is great. O.K.’”
Theron joked that whenever she does have a one-night stand, she always thinks, “I should have done this in my 20s.”
Holland Taylor

American Horror Story actress Sarah Paulson is 32 years younger than her longtime partner. Taylor told Radio Andy in 2024 that she is conscious of the significant age difference, though their partnership has clearly stood the test of time. (Paulson and Taylor got together in 2015.)
“We do have a wonderful resonance,” Taylor told host Andy Cohen. “We are very interested in the same kinds of things, and yet, we share big differences. We have a big generational difference between us, which worries me for her sake, but what can I do?”
Taylor identified some ways her and Paulson’s age gap often works to their advantage.
“A lot of the things that she’s going through, that are very emotionally important to her right now, I went through 40 years ago, 30 years ago,” she said. “She brings [these things] up in my memory, and I think, ‘Oh, of course this is hard!’ Or, ‘Of course, that’s great! Of course, that’s important to her!’”
Sonja Morgan

The Real Housewives of New York City viewers will probably remember that Morgan dated real estate developer Benjamin Benallou when she was 49 and he was 23. Morgan told Enstarz in 2013 that she was dating Benallou because he was “nice [and] very elegant, worldly.”
“I don’t care [about being called a cougar],” she insisted at the time. “If you’re a smart guy and you can keep my attention [for] breakfast, lunch and dinner, that works for me.”
The couple later split, with Morgan promising in 2016 that she was done with younger men.
“I’m always dating, but I’m not dating the young guys [anymore],” Morgan told Life & Style in 2016. “I’m dating serious guys who I think I might have a future with.”
Luann de Lesseps
Countess Luann de Lesseps in June 2025.Michael Simon/Getty Images
Morgan’s RHONY costar revealed in 2024 that she was interested in younger men as she entered her 60s. Following high-profile divorces from first husband Alexandre de Lesseps and second husband Tom D’Agostino, she confirmed on Tamron Hall that her ideal guy was “age appropriate” with an established “career.”
As for what she considered “age appropriate,” The Countess clarified: “Age appropriate for me is … well I’ll tell you something: so, right now, all the 40-year-olds, the 30-40-year-olds, are up into my stuff, if I can say that. The 50-year-olds are like, ‘Oh damn, I’m 50. I need a 20-year-old.’ The 60-year-olds are a little challenged, you know what I mean, down in that department. And the 70-year-olds just want to have a good time all day long.”
“So it’s really from the 40’s…you know, late 30s, 40s, for me, is my sweet spot,” she added. “But listen, a young 50-year-old … but the problem with 50-year-olds is they usually want younger women because they have that ‘midlife crisis.’”
Carole Radziwill
Carole Radziwill and Adam Kenworthy in April 2016.Gilbert Carrasquillo/FilmMagic
One iconic RHONY storyline involved Radziwill getting involved with celebrity chef Adam Kenworthy, who previously dated Luann’s niece Nicole Nadeau. At the time Carole started seeing Adam, she was 52 and he was 29.
While The Countess may be supportive of age-gap romances these days, she vehemently disapproved of Carole dating Adam, accusing her castmate of dating someone “Sonja young” (as in, seeing someone 25 years younger, just as Morgan did with Benallou.)
Radziwill never paid de Luann’s criticism much attention and memorably quipped on air: “Lu lecturing me on dating younger men is like the Saudi government lecturing the world on feminism.”
Radziwill and Kenworthy split in 2017, though she exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2025 that she still felt dating is “better in your 50s” – especially if you hook up with younger guys.
“I don’t want to say to only date younger guys, but there’s something that [is different],” she joked.
Kristin Cavallari

The former Laguna Beach star is never afraid to clap back and she did just that when some criticised her for dating 24-year-old Mark Estes when she was 37.
“When they’re all up in arms that I’m dating a 24 year old. Andddd?” she wrote via TikTok in March 2024, before sarcastically lip syncing to the audio: “So what are you going to do about it? Are you going to arrest me? Are you going to give me a ticket?”
“If you guys listen to the podcast, you know, I thought 30-year-olds were too young for me,” she pointed out. “I understand what it looks like to the outside world, I really do. I get that.”
Cavallari swore that Estes was “not a typical 24-year-old,” before insisting she didn’t “give a f***” about what anyone else thought about her new relationship.
“My entire career has prepped me for this moment because when this news came out, it’s the first time in my entire life I 100% haven’t given a s*** what anybody thinks,” she said.
She added, “He’s in a place where he’s ready for a relationship and so here we f***ing are. This man makes me really happy right now. We’re just trying to have a little fun. Well, I mean, no it’s — it’s more than that. I don’t wanna downplay it, because I really do like this guy and I actually think what we have is very serious.”

The “Believe” singer confirmed in 2022 that she was dating music executive Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, who is 40 years her junior. The pair’s thoroughly modern romance apparently began when they exchanged flirty text messages. Cher clarified on The Jennifer Hudson Show in May 2024 that there was a logical reason why she was drawn to younger men.
“The reason I got with young men is because men my age or older — well, now they’re all dead — but before, they were always terrified to approach me,” she said. “And younger men — they were raised by women like me.”
Cher has had several other high-profile relationships with younger men, including reportedly dating Tom Cruise and the late Val Kilmer in the 1980s. Cher’s ex-boyfriend Rob Camilletti, then a bagel shop employee, was notoriously dubbed “The Bagel Boy” by the press in the late ‘80s because of their 18-year age difference.
After Cher and Camilletti split in 1989, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee insisted they were “still best friends” and hit back at the media for obsessing over her ex-boyfriend’s age.
“They were so mean with Robert – you know, ‘the bagel boy,’” she complained to Parade in 2010. “He’s totally worthwhile.”

The Fifty Shades of Grey director was 42 when she auditioned 18-year-old Aaron to play John Lennon in her movie Nowhere Boy. The pair got together while filming the movie and announced their engagement at the Nowhere Boy premiere in October 2009. They wed in June 2012 and are now parents to two daughters: Wylda, born in 2010, and Romy, born in 2012.
Sam assured The Guardianin 2024 that her and Aaron’s 23-year-old age difference “never does” impact their marriage.
“It comes up on the outside perspective of people who don’t know us, because I guess people will always [judge], ” the filmmaker said. “We’re a bit of an anomaly, but it’s that thing: after 14 years you just think, surely by now it doesn’t really matter?”
Jada Pinkett Smith

Singer August Alsina revealed in a 2020 interview that he met Jada, then 43, through his friend — and Pinkett Smith’s son — Jaden Smith when he was 22 and had a short-lived romance with her. The musician claimed that he’d even received her husband, Will Smith’s blessing to date the future Oscar winner’s wife.
The Smiths offered their side of the story on Red Table Talk in July 2020, where Pinkett Smith said she got involved with August during a period where she was “basically broken up” with Will. (Will and Jada later reconciled.)
“It all started with him just needing some help, me wanting to help his health, his mental state,” she said in a discussion with Will. “The outpouring for him from our family was initially about his health. We found all those different resources to help pull him through and, from there, [Will] and I were going through a very difficult time.”
She added, “I was in a lot of pain, and I was very broken. In the process of that relationship, I definitely realized that you can’t find happiness outside yourself. I just wanted to feel good, it had been so long since I felt good … and it was really a joy to just help heal somebody.”
During the Smiths’ very frank discussion, Pinkett Smith denied that Will ever gave his blessing for her to date August.
“The only person that can give permission in that circumstance is myself,” she pointed out. “But what August was probably trying to communicate because I could see how he could see it as permission because we were separated amicably, and I think he wanted to make it clear he’s not a home-wrecker because he’s not.”
Kris Jenner

A few months after announcing her separation (and eventual divorce) from Caitlyn Jenner in October 2013, Kris started seeing Justin Bieber’s then-tour manager, Corey Gamble. The couple – who have a 25-year age gap – met at designer Riccardo Tisci‘s birthday celebrations in Ibiza in August 2024 and have been together ever since.
On a May 2024 episode of The Kardashians, Jenner remembered initially questioning why a much younger man would be interested in her.
“I used to say to Corey all the time when I first started dating him, like, ‘Why do you want to date somebody who is older than you?’” she told viewers. “I didn’t get the age gap, and then he taught me that age is just a number. It’s a f***ing big number, but it’s a number!”
Jenner admitted that she couldn’t rationalize her and Gamble’s “chemistry” even after a decade together, but she’d learned to simply embrace it.
“Listen, I can’t explain someone’s chemistry or why people fall in love but it’s been an amazing almost 10 years, and we have a great time,” she noted.
Jennifer Lopez

The “Jenny From The Block” singer had an on-off relationship with her former backup dancer Casper Smart (who was 18 years younger) between 2011 and 2016. She was later linked to rapper Drake, with whom she had a 17-year age gap.
Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2017, J.Lo seemed exasperated when she was asked why “people make a big deal” about her dating younger guys.
“O.K., first of all, stop,” Lopez playfully told host Ellen DeGeneres. “It’s not like you have to be younger, it’s not about that. I just meet people, and if I go out with them, I go out with them, and if I like them, I like them, and if I don‘t, I don’t. It’s just about the person. It’s about who they are. It has nothing to do with age.”
Lopez suggested that any fixation on the ages of her boyfriends could be perceived as sexist.
“If they’re older, they’re older. If they’re younger, they’re younger,” she insisted. “It doesn’t matter. It’s whether or not I’m attracted to them or not, attracted to their spirit, their soul, whatever their energy is.”
Demi Moore

The Substance actress tied the knot with Ashton Kutcher in 2005 when she was 42 and he was 27. They were married for eight years prior to their highly-publicized split in 2013.
Moore later wrote in her 2019 memoir, Inside Out, that she underestimated how significant her and Kutcher’s 15-year age gap would become to their marriage.
“I was a 40-year-old who had a big life and Ashton’s adult life was just beginning,” she recalled. “I didn’t see all that because I was inside of it. I just felt like a 15-year-old girl hoping that somebody liked me.”
Moore later explained to Diane Sawyer that her relationship with Kutcher felt like an escape from being “responsible for so much of [her] life.” (She was previously married to musician Freddy Moore from 1981 to 1985 and actor Bruce Willis from 1987 to 2000.)
“All of a sudden, this window opened up where I was safe, I had money, [Ashton] loved my children,” she said.
When Sawyer asked why people were still “shocked” and “unnerved” by her 15-year age difference with Kutcher, Moore replied, “It’s so silly!”

Nip/Tuck and Charmed star Julian McMahon has died. He was 56.
Julian’s wife, Kelly McMahon, confirmed his death on Friday, July 4, following a private battle with cancer.
McMahon was best known for playing Dr. Christian Troy on Ryan Murphy’s hit FX series Nip/Tuck from 2003 to 2010, a role which landed him a Golden Globe nomination. He also starred on shows like Charmed, FBI: Most Wanted, Marvel’s Runaways and appeared as Dr. Doom in two Fantastic Four movies: 2005’s Fantastic Four and 2007’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
He began his career as a model in the 1980s before cracking the acting industry with a main role on Australian soap opera, Home and Away. He appeared in 150 episodes from 1990 to 1991 before making the move to Hollywood.
McMahon met his first wife Dannii Minogue on set in 1991 and they tied the knot in 1994 and divorced 18 months later. His second marriage was to actress Brooke Burns from 1999 to 2001 and the former couple share a daughter, Madison Elizabeth McMahon, 25. He also had a brief romance with the late Shannen Dohertywhen they worked together on Charmed. McMahon married current wife, Kelly McMahon, in 2014.

The actor was also known for being the only son of former Australian Prime Minister William McMahon, who held office from 1971 to 1972.
McMahon’s last public appearance was in March at the North American premiere of The Surfer, which was held in Austin, Texas, during the SXSW Conference.
He starred alongside Nicolas Cage in the film and the actors walked the red carpet and posed for photographs as they promoted the project at the event.
McMahon’s final Instagram post, shared in February, also promoted the film.
“Hey there everyone. Just letting you know we have a great movie coming out, directed by Lorcan Finnegan,” he wrote. “Its premiere is at SXSW, very exciting, and it’s in theaters May 2nd. It’s a psychological thriller, very unique, and very entertaining. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. Cheers.”
Mika Boorem starred on the big screen in the early 2000s but now prefers to be behind the lens.
Boorem, now 37, got her start as a child star in the ‘90s with guest roles on Touched by an Angel and Ally McBeal. The actress didn’t stop there, as she later appeared in movies like The Education of Little Tree, Jack Frost and Mighty Joe Young. Boorem’s role as Michael Keaton’s daughter in the 1998 film earned her a YoungStar Award nomination for Best Actress in a Drama Film.
In the early 2000s, Boorem got supporting roles in The Patriot, Along Came a Spider and Hearts in Atlantis. She continued to find success as she landed a recurring role on Dawson’s Creek as Harley Hetson from 2002 to 2003.
Boorem became best known for her role in 2002’s Blue Crush, starring in the surf movie alongside Kate Bosworth. Two years later, Boorem joined the comedy Sleepover alongside Alexa PenaVega.
After her stint in teen blockbusters, Boorem transitioned to working on independent films such as 1 Out of 7 and Virgin Alexander, which both premiered in 2012. Three years later, she made her directorial debut with the movie Love Thy Neighbor.
Following her time on Love Thy Neighbor, Boorem continued to seek more projects behind the scenes. She directed the 2017 short film L.A. Player and 2021’s Hollywood.Con, which she also starred in.

While Boorem made her last acting appearance in 2021, she has continued to work in the industry. She currently has her company Penni Productions that produces movies, TV shows and music videos.
“I’m an actress turned filmmaker. I strive to get stories to the screen that people can connect with. Film is a great art medium, it can be used to change the world,” Boorem said of her career transition in a July 2021 interview with Voyage LA. “Through film, we can experience a different time or place. Follow the story of someone entirely different [from] us but understand their wants and needs.”
Boorem added that it’s her goal to “make a film that leaves a huge impact on the world.”
In addition to film, Boorem spends her free time volunteering with multiple nonprofits. Last summer, Boorem attended Foster Love’s annual gala in July 2024.
“Celebrating ONE MILLION children served !! A wonderful milestone Foster Love,” she captioned an Instagram Reel. “Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished with supporting youth in the foster care system … and also for the wonderful support and platforms you’ve created for aged out youth.”
Boorem also enjoys her days traveling around the world from snowboarding in Vail to soaking up the sun in the Virgin Islands.
If you’ve ever tried to survive a full day walking in the city streets while wearing the wrong sneakers, you know the pain. That’s exactly why Katie Holmes’ go-to Ecco Biom 2.2 Sport Cross Trainers stand out. They’re built for hours of real walking — like, ‘New York City sidewalks walking.’ Plus, they won’t clash with your outfit. And right now, they’re marked down from $175 to $137 on Amazon.
Despite the “sport” label, the Ecco trainers more than just workout shoes. Think of them as your everyday, wear-with-anything, all-day-walking sneakers. They’re crafted from breathable textile and premium leather, so they don’t feel hot or stiff. What we love most? The low-key design works with leggings, jeans and casual dresses.
Its patented design, which lets your feet move more naturally, is what makes them so comfortable. Think: Less stomping and more smooth strides. Not to mention, the lightweight shoes come with practical extras like rubber inserts on the sole that provide a good grip on slick, wet pavement or subway steps.
Shoppers approve, too. One fan wrote, “Love these shoes! They are comfy, helped my hurting heel heal, as the sole provides a nice cushion and arch support. They also look nice in both sporty and more casual outfits.”
Another shared, “I use these for daily walks and they are very comfortable. I have narrow feet but feel there is still plenty of room for the average width.”
If you’re after sneakers that can keep up with you all day, now is the time to grab the on-sale cross trainers. At $136 instead of $175, it’s a smart move!
Gia Giudice is asking President Donald Trump to help bring her dad home.
Her father, Joe Giudice, was deported back to Italy in 2019 after he served time in prison on federal fraud charges. He now lives in the Bahamas. But after seeing Trump, 79, pardon Todd and Julie Chrisley earlier this year, Gia, 24, reached out to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“Let’s bring Joe Giudice, my father, home together,” she wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 4, alongside a video of herself writing a letter to the president.
“Hey, guys, my name is Gia Giudice,” she narrated in the video. “I’m the daughter of Joe Giudice and today I’m using my voice for something deeply personal. My dad was deported over four years ago. Since then, our family has lived in an emotional limbo. No matter how strong we try to be in the absence of a father, of a parent, it’s something that never stops hurting.”
“Growing up, my dad was present at every cheer competition, every dance recital, holiday,” she continued. “He was our provider. Our protector. And he still is, just now from thousands of miles away.”
Gia then pointed to the Chrisleys, who were serving time for fraud-related convictions until their release in May after their family lobbied Trump and his predecessor, Joe Biden, for a pardon.
“Watching the Chrisley family receive a second chance inspired me,” she said. “It showed me that people can be forgiven, that families could be restored and that sometimes the justice system has room for grace. That gave me hope. Hope that maybe my dad could come home too.”

Gia echoed her dad, saying she wanted him to enjoy more moments, big and small, with his family.
“A pardon would mean more than just legal forgiveness. It would mean healing for my sisters, for my mom, for my family and for me,” Gia said. “We’ve missed birthdays, graduations, even the small moments that matter the most. This isn’t just about one man. It’s about a family who deserves to be whole again.”
She ended her video with a final plea for a second chance.
“I’m using my platform to speak not just as a public figure but as a daughter who deeply misses her dad,” she concluded. “We are not asking for sympathy. We are asking for a second chance. So, let’s bring Joe home together. President Donald J. Trump, I really hope you receive these character letters about my dad, Joe Giudice. Love you guys, bye.”
Madison LeCroy was over-the-moon to be pregnant with her second baby — but she didn’t anticipate how hard it would be to film Southern Charm at the same time.
“It was honestly, like, probably one of the worst things I’ve ever had to do,” Madison, 34, exclusively told Us Weekly of the Bravo shooting process while expecting.
She joked, “I don’t know if it was one, being dead sober or two, just being extremely heavy and very hot. I was dying.”
Madison — who announced at the Southern Charm season 10 reunion in March that she was pregnant with her and husband Brett Randle’s first child — confessed filming got “really bad” as she grew bigger and bigger. (Madison shares son Hudson, 12, with ex-husband Josh Hughes.)
Now that her daughter, Teddi, is here, Madison’s tune has changed. The hairstylist exclusively told Us that she gave birth to her little one on Sunday, June 29, when the baby was 34 weeks. The reality star also shared her birthing story via an Amazon Livestream video sponsored by Graco on Thursday, July 3.

Madison said Teddi is “independent” and everyone’s “obsessed” with her just days after her arrival. Now that both mom and baby are home, Madison told Us that she’s been nesting — and not worrying about which of her Southern Charm castmates were in the loop about her news.
Venita Aspen, however, was on the VIP list and was notified before she gave birth.

“I did have to tell Venita because I think she tracks my location, so I was like, ‘Oh, my God, if she sees me here, she’s gonna know,’” Madison recalled to Us. “So Venita knows, but I’m not sure if she told anybody else. But it’s only a matter of time.”
Madison, who joined the Bravo cast in 2019, joked that she was “more shocked” that “none of them have called me” recently, noting she’d been a little quiet on social media.
“They haven’t heard from me in the last three days. So, they’re in trouble,” she said with a laugh, teasing the cast should’ve guessed that’s why she hadn’t checked in.
Clifton Prescod/Bravo
Over the years, Madison’s Southern Charm friendships have ebbed and flowed and although she’s close with her ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll, she told Us he’s not on her approved babysitting list.
When asked who in the cast is “least likely” to watch Teddi, Madison replied, “Whitney [Sudler-Smith] for sure.”
She then added, “I mean, I don’t [think] any of the guys really. The guys are not allowed, no.”
Another decision Madison has to make is whether Teddi will make her Southern Charm debut this season, or at all. Madison confessed she doesn’t “know yet” if the baby will appear on camera.
“Honestly, we’ll kind of see what she wants to do, but I don’t know if they can afford her,” she said with a laugh. “She’s [pricey].”

Madison’s son, Hudson, has been featured on several episodes of the Bravo series as has her husband, whom she wed in November 2022, so only time will tell if Teddi joins the crew.
In the meantime, Madison is embracing the newborn phase and looking to “soak up” every minute.
Major League Baseball has placed starting pitcher Luis Ortiz on nondisciplinary paid leave as it investigates the first-year member of the Cleveland Guardians for possible involvement in gambling.
The investigation originated with gambling integrity firm IC360, which informed MLB in June of two pitches that Ortiz, 26, threw in two separate starts that triggered what it calls “unusual gambling activity,” according to ESPN.
Ortiz’s paid leave, negotiated between MLB and the MLB Players’ Association, is set to expire at the end of the upcoming All-Star break on Friday, July 18. It could be extended if the investigation goes beyond that date.
The Guardians scratched Ortiz from his scheduled start on the road Thursday, July 3, against the Chicago Cubs. Joey Cantillo got the nod instead as Ortiz returned to Cleveland.
Keep scrolling for everything you need to know about MLB’s gambling investigation into Ortiz.
Who Is Luis Ortiz?
Luis OrtizPhoto by Brandon Sloter/Getty Images
Ortiz is a right-handed starting pitcher for the Guardians. He’s in his fourth year in Major League Baseball after spending his first three seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates and coming over to the American League as part of a three-team offseason trade. He is coming off the best season of his young career so far but has struggled in 2025. Ortiz sports a 4.36 ERA with a league-high nine losses.
Why Is MLB Investigating Him?
IC360 flagged two pitches that Ortiz made 12 days apart. In both instances, his first pitch of the inning was a slider well outside the strike zone. Normally, this would not raise any eyebrows. But IC360 noticed increased activity on prop bets for each of those innings on his first pitch being a ball.
What Have Ortiz and the Guardians Said About the Investigation?
Guardians manager Stephen VogtPhoto by Lachlan Cunningham/Getty Images
Ortiz has yet to break his silence on the investigation as of Friday, July 4.
The Guardians’ president of baseball operations, Chris Antonetti, told the media that the club first learned of the investigation on Wednesday, July 2, and its immediate concern was finding someone to start in his place the following day.
“Our focus is we’ll let the investigative process play out,” he said. “To the extent Major League Baseball or anyone needs our support in that, we will obviously cooperate. But beyond that, there’s really not much we can do.”
Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said he didn’t know how to feel upon learning the news.
“There’s so much unknowns with this, but you know what? Every team goes through adversity, maybe different kinds, but this is a resilient group,” he said. “I’ve been through situations similar to this before in my career as a player, and what would I have wanted to hear? How would I want the manager to have reacted, and that’s what I’m trying to do.”
MLB also released a statement confirming the investigation but not revealing any more than that.
“Cleveland Guardians pitcher Luis Ortiz has been placed on nondisciplinary paid leave through the end of the All-Star break due to an MLB investigation,” the statement read. “We will not comment further until the investigation has been completed.”
What Penalties Could Ortiz Face?
If MLB determines that Ortiz manipulated the outcome of his games — even just a pitch or two at a time — he could face significant repercussions and even a lifetime ban from Major League Baseball.
Since the Supreme Court declared a federal ban on sports betting to be unconstitutional in 2018, most states have legalized the hobby, and professional athletes have already been caught up in it.
In 2024, MLB banned San Diego Padres infielder Tucupita Marcano for life after determining he placed more than 400 bets on baseball, while four other players received one-year suspensions for placing bets on MLB games while in the minor leagues.
MLB fired umpire Pat Hoberg, one of the most accurate ball-strike callers in the game, after determining he shared a sports betting account with a friend who bet on baseball. Hoberg, 38, also allegedly deleted messages that were material to the investigation.
The Bear cast has had more success in their dating lives than their fictional counterparts.
The Hulu series, which premiered in June 2022, explores talented chef Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) as he returns to Chicago to run his older brother Mikey’s (Jon Bernthal) restaurant following his death. Season 1 focused on Carmy’s attempts to help keep the sandwich shop afloat while dealing with his own grief over his brother’s suicide.
“They got a lot of trauma on both sides. Like if even that [was explored] — I don’t think that window is open,” Edebiri exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2023. “But if it were, there would need to be like two seasons where it’s just them doing therapy individually before that would even be an option.”
Edebiri noted that the series didn’t initially plan to explore the coworkers as a couple, adding, “I think when we were making it, neither of us [me nor Jeremy Allen White] were thinking about that. It did feel really nice to get to do something that felt different. There aren’t that many platonic male [and] female relationships.”
White and Timlin, who started dating after several years of friendship, welcomed daughter Ezer in 2018 and tied the knot one year later. The twosome expanded their family again with daughter Dolores in 2020.
After three years of marriage, Timlin filed for divorce in May 2023. White sparked romance rumors with Ashley Moore three months later after they were seen packing on the PDA in Los Angeles but their connection quickly fizzled out. He was later spotted with singer Rosalía on multiple occasions.
In September 2024, White was photographed kissing costar Molly Gordan, who plays his love interest on The Bear.
The comedian, who brings Sydney to life, has chosen not to share much about her offscreen love life. Instead, she has used her social media platform to offer updates on her career.
Before playing Marcus, Boyce remained tight-lipped about his personal life and instead documented him time as a director and fashion designer for the band Odd Future. The alternative hip-hop music collective, which unofficially disbanded in 2016, also featured members such as Tyler, the Creator and Frank Ocean.
The Saturday Night Live alum, who plays Natalie, was previously linked to Fred Armisen in 2010. Elliott exchanged vows with TV writer Bill Kennedy in 2016 after several years of dating. They expanded their family with daughter Edith in 2020 and son William in June 2023.
Before taking on the role of Mikey, Bernthal tied the knot with trauma nurse Erin Angle in 2010. The couple share son Henry (born in 2011), son Billy (born in 2013) and daughter Adeline (born in 2015).
The professional chef, who plays Fak, married long-time girlfriend Tricia Spencer in 2014. They expanded their family with son MacArthur (born in 2016), daughters Rizzo (born in 2018) and Ozzy (born in 2020).
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis made That ‘70s Show fans’ dreams come true when they began dating in 2012.
The costars appeared as Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart from 1998 to 2006. Kutcher married Demi Moore in September 2005, but their relationship ended six years later. They finalized their divorce in November 2013.
After reconnecting, Kutcher and Kunis shifted their friendship into a full-fledged romance in 2012. The twosome got engaged in February 2014 and tied the knot in July 2015. In the meantime, they welcomed daughter Wyatt in October 2014 and son Dimitri in November 2016.
“I did a movie called Friends With Benefits. He did a movie that was very similar: No Strings Attached,” the actress recalled on the “WTF” podcast in July 2018. “We lived our movies out, where we were like, ‘Let’s just hook up. Let’s have fun. We’re both single. We both trust each other. Everything’s great.’ None of us wanted tension. OK, great. We hooked up for three months. And just like our movies, one of us caught feelings.”
Scroll down to revisit highlights from Kunis and Kutcher’s relationship:
Kutcher and Kunis met on the set of the 1998 hit comedy series That '70s Show. The onscreen couple attended the 50th annual Primetime Emmy Awards with costars Wilmer Valderrama, Topher Grace, Laura Prepon and Danny Masterson at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A.
In the Season 5 episode "Immigrant Song," Michel Kelso (Kutcher) tries to win back Jackie Burkhart (Kunis). The actress, who shared her first kiss with Kutcher on That '70s Show, confessed on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno in June 2012 that she lied about her age to producers to get the part of Jackie. "Legally I was 14, but I told them I was a little bit older," she said. "I told them I was gonna be 18, which is not technically a lie, cause at one point . . . I was gonna be 18."
Kutcher and Kunis shared a laugh during the FOX Television Critics Association Press Tour at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood. "People think Ashton has changed," Kunis told Parade magazine in October 2007. "He's still the same old goofball that he used to be."
After That '70s Show ended in 2006, the costars caught up at the 7th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in L.A. Kutcher married Moore in 2005, and Kunis had been dating actor Macaulay Culkin since 2002.
After Kutcher separated from Moore in November 2011, rumors began swirling that Kutcher was dating Kunis. (She and Culkin split in January 2011). Kutcher and Kunis were photographed sharing a kiss at a party in L.A. in July 2012. But a source told Us Weekly at the time, "They're not exclusive. They are hanging out and seeing where it's going."
The twosome took their relationship public in August when they went on a romantic vacation together to Bali. The former costars even held hands as they walked through the airport. "Mila is throwing caution to the wind!" a source told Us. "She's having fun."
Kutcher took his romance with Kunis to the next level in September by telling her "I love her," a source told Us. The couple of six months had a romantic lunch date in NYC after enjoying a little PDA in Central Park.
Adorable! The couple wore matching Chicago Bears shirts while going for a walk in NYC's West Village. "Ashton and Mila are totally together and loving it," a source told Us in September. "He always had a thing for her and he finally made it happen . . . It is real infatuation right now."
Makeout session in Rome! The couple shared a passionate smooch in Italy, where Kunis was filming scenes for her new movie, The Third Person. In December 2012, Kutcher filed for divorce from Moore a year after their separation was announced. Moore suffered a breakdown and stayed in a rehab facility earlier that year.
After celebrating the holidays together in Kutcher's home state of Iowa, the couple was still going strong in January! The pair stepped out together for a coffee run in L.A.'s Studio City neighborhood. "Listen, in five years I do hope to have a family, and, you know, who knows?" Kunis told the August issue of Interview magazine. "I've always been a big proponent of not working for the sake of working, because I don't want to work for the rest of my life — I want to live."
Taking their romance to the next level! The pair were joined by Kunis' parents Mark and Elvira while going for a stroll in London, where Kunis was filming Jupiter Ascending.
No shame in PDA! The former costars shared a kiss while on vacation in Saint-Tropez, France with royal pal Princess Beatrice and her then-boyfriend, Dave Clark.
Where it all began! Kutcher and Kunis got together with their former That '70s Show costars Valderrama, Grace, Prepon and Masterson for a sing-along reunion, seven years after the series finale. Masterson shared a snapshot of the happy reunion on Instagram for fans to enjoy.
Mila's headed for mommyhood! One month after Us confirmed the couple got engaged, it was revealed that Kunis and Kutcher were expecting their first child together. "This is something they both wanted," an insider told Us. "They are both so happy." The pair attended an L.A. Clippers game together one day before news broke.
Jackie and Kelso, back together again! The future spouses (and parents!) reunited on the small screen when Kunis guest starred on Kutcher's CBS comedy Two and a Half Men. In the episode, Kunis played a free-spirited world traveler named Vivian who Walden (Kutcher) was instantly attracted to.
Cheers! The soon-to-be first-time parents visited the Abita Brewing Company in Abita Springs, Louisiana. The couple dressed casually and were photographed locking lips while sightseeing around town. "You never know who you'll run into at an Abita tour! #jackieandkelso #craftbeer," the company's official Twitter handle tweeted.
Round two! The couple slow-danced during their second day out at the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California. "The best day of my life so far was the proposal. I cried. I was a mess," Kunis later said in the July 2014 issue of Marie Claire. "I love being pregnant," she added. "Two people are allowed in my delivery room. My doctor and my significant other."
Gone country! Kunis flashed her bare baby bump while letting loose with Kutcher at the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio. "I think they were meant to be," Kutcher's twin brother Michael told Us at the Harboring Hearts 2nd Annual Summer Soiree in NYC. "It'd be like Ross and Rachel getting married [from Friends]."
A treat for his sweet! Kunis and Kutcher exchanged a kiss while grabbing frozen yogurt at Menchie's in L.A. "I eat sauerkraut all day long," Kunis said of her pregnancy cravings to Ellen DeGeneres in May. "[Ashton] assumed that I was gonna have goofy cravings, so he stocked our secondary fridge with weird food — just, like, pickles and sauerkraut, or, like anchovies and ice creams."
Rooting for the home team! Kunis dressed her baby bump in a Dodgers baseball jersey while attending a game with Kutcher. "I never wanted to get married — then things changed, I found the love of my life," the Jupiter Ascending actress said in W magazine's August issue. "We all get movie star crushes. I'm marrying mine."
The couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Wyatt Isabelle, in October 2014. A source told Us at the time, the new parents were “so happy!”
Kutcher gushed over Kunis’ parenting skills during a December 2014 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “The most amazing thing about having a baby is my partner, Mila,” he raved. “She’s the greatest mom, I can’t even. I go to work every day and I come home and she’s, like, perfect. And it just seems like everything went amazing. And I know that something probably didn’t go amazing, but she never tells … it’s unbelievable. She’s incredible.”
The duo made their first public appearance since the birth of their daughter at a Los Angeles Lakers game. They packed on the PDA, even kissing several times, in what would become some of the most iconic photos from their relationship.
Rumors began swirling that Kutcher and Kunis had secretly tied the knot, but the actress was not ready to confirm or deny anything when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February 2015.
The Two and a Half Men actor bragged about his sex life with Kunis while speaking at a tech conference: “Last week, I was walking with Mila … Kunis, who's my fiancée. I get to have sex with her. It's amazing!”
I do! The former costars tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony at The Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California, over the Fourth of July weekend. Us later revealed that the pair made things legal well before their secret nuptials.
The newlyweds hit the road in an RV while celebrating their honeymoon in Yosemite National Park and Napa Valley, among other locations. Daughter Wyatt accompanied them on their travels.
Baby number two! Kunis’ rep confirmed to Us in June 2016 that the pair were expecting their second child together. She concealed her baby bump during an ice cream outing with her husband days earlier.
The Bad Moms star revealed that her romance with Kutcher began with casual sex after she attended his housewarming party in 2011. "We, oddly, both did a movie called — I did Friends With Benefits, he did a movie called No Strings Attached," she told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show. "If we just paid attention to these movies, we should know that s–t like this does not work out in real life. Well, we clearly didn't pay attention. We shook hands, we're like, 'Let's just have fun!' I mean, literally, we lived out our movies. We literally just had a very open conversation."
Kutcher reminisced about his first That ‘70s Show kiss with his future wife during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. “We’ve known each other for 20 years. I was 19, she was like 14. I did her chemistry homework for her,” he recalled at the time. “I think I was her first kiss, like, on the show. We have our first kiss memorialized on a TV show!”
Kunis came clean about her husband’s lack of irritating habits. “I can give you an honest answer, and this is going to be the opposite of what you will want to hear, but my husband does not annoy me,” she told E! News. “He doesn’t. He really doesn’t. I don’t know if this happens later, we’ve only been married a handful of years, you know, it’s very much in the honeymoon phase. We still really love and like each other daily.”
Major milestone! Kunis and Kutcher walked the red carpet together for the first time in 17 years when they attended the Sixth Annual Breakthrough Prize Awards.
Their honeymoon wasn’t as picture perfect as it looked. The Spy Who Dumped Me star relived her disastrous RV trip with Kutcher and his parents while appearing on The Tonight Show. “Eight hours into our RV trip … our air conditioner breaks in Bakersfield in 110 degree weather,” she explained. “We almost died on the side of the road when Apple Maps took us on a road … It was a fire road on the side of a mountain. We all had to jump out of the vehicle and walk like, three miles while my father-in-law drove the van and Ashton navigated him over massive boulders because there had just been a massive flood. Guys, this was like, day two.”
While the twosome have That ’70s Show to thank for meeting, Kunis revealed during an interview with on Sunday TODAY With Willie Geist that fans won’t be seeing them onscreen together again. “Probably not going to happen,” she dished. “I can’t look at him and not be like, ‘What are you doing?’ It’s like a weird — no, no, it’s weird.”
Kunis proved that love should be fun when she recalled a hilarious Valentine’s Day present gone wrong from her husband. “It’s the thought that counts, guys, and it was such a beautiful thought,” the Bad Moms actress told DeGeneres about Kutcher’s idea to get her two love birds as a pet for the holiday. “I guess [Ashton] called a Petco-like store, and they were like, ‘Yes, come in, we have lover birds,’ and so he walked in and they were like, ’These are love birds,’” Kunis explained, noting that it wasn’t until they went in to get the animal’s nails cut they were informed what type of bird they actually were. “So now we have really beautiful two little Parakeets and one is, like, teal and one is blue. But they’re not love birds.”
Kutcher gushed over Kunis again in September 2019 after ex-wife Moore made shocking revelations about him in her memoir, Inside Out. (In the book, the Ghost actress claimed that Kutcher persuaded her to have threesomes which he later blamed for his alleged infidelity.) “I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet,” the Ranch star tweeted on September 24, the memoir’s release date. “Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife and I deleted it.”
“We’re very goofy parents when it comes to our children, but that doesn’t [mean we] have skill,” Kunis said on the “Teach Me Something New” podcast. “I think that’s just [us] being idiots. We’re very comfortable with ourselves acting a fool at home, but maybe that comes from the idea of being comfortable in your own body, and in your own skin, and in your mind and not having a fear of making a fool of yourself.”
Kunis recalled Kutcher’s hilarious reaction after she brought up her interest in appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in the distant future. “I did ask my husband once. I was like, ‘Listen. Later, in like 20 years, 30 years, what do you think of me going on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?’” she said on the “Andrea Savage: A Grown-Up Woman” podcast. “I’m like, ‘Just for, like, a year.’ He was like, ‘I would kill you.’”
Kutcher joked about Kunis was “cheating” on him as she watched Netflix’s Bridgerton, a series that features very steamy sex scenes. “I stayed up until midnight. I was, like, what’s happening in the show?” she recalled on the Today show. “He’s dead asleep and wakes up in the peak of the fifth episode. He literally goes like this: ‘Are you watching a porno?’ He was so confused about what was happening.”
The entrepreneur remembered being caught off guard, adding, “I didn’t know what was going on. I’m like, ‘Is there someone else in the bed?’ It was terrifying. You are cheating on me with this show.”
Kunis revealed that Kutcher asks her opinion on which companies he should invest in, but she has given him some bad advice in the past, including to not put their money in Bitcoin or Uber. “This happens nightly. The sad part is it happens probably too often,” she explained on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. “The best part about him is he’s really smart about including me in everything and making sure I’m aware of everything that’s happening. He’s also really smart at knowing sometimes you shouldn’t listen to your wife.”
The couple showed off their Los Angeles farmhouse on the June 2021 cover of Architectural Digest. “We wanted a home, not an estate,” she said of their L.A. abode called KuKu Farms. “Building a house from the ground up is no small thing. This was either going to make us or break us.” Kunis, who was pregnant with Wyatt when they began the renovations, added, “When we’re in our home, the world just makes sense.”
Kutcher revealed that his wife convinced him to sell the ticket he had purchased for a trip to space aboard Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic aircraft. “When I got married and had kids, my wife encouraged that it was not a smart family decision to be heading into space when we have young children," he explained. “I was supposed to be on the next flight, but I will not be on the next flight. At some point, I’m going to space.” The actor bought the ticket in 2012, before either of his children were born.
The couple inadvertently kicked off a summer-long debate about celebrity showering habits when Kunis revealed that they don't bathe their kids every day. “I wasn’t that parent that bathed my newborns — ever,” she said during an episode of Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast. “Now, here’s the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there’s no point.” Within days, celebrities including Jake Gyllenhaal, Kristen Bell, Jason Momoa and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson chimed in to share their own shower routines (or lack thereof).
A few weeks later, the duo acknowledged what they started with an Instagram video that showed them bathing Wyatt and Dimitri. “Are you trying to injure them with water?” the Iowa native joked in the clip. “This is ridiculous. What is going on?”
The actor snooped on his wife as Dry January came to a close, catching her ending her month without alcohol a little ahead of schedule. "It's still Dry January, and Mila and I have been doing Dry January. And I think she's breaking Dry January right now," he teased in an Instagram video as he walked over to where Kunis was putting together a cocktail.
The Black Swan star defended her drink, joking, "I work off of the lunar calendar, so it's Wet February for me right now. Don't worry about it."
After Kunis was featured in Time’s 100 Most Influential List of 2022, Kutcher playfully complained about the decision to include his wife in the article via Twitter, writing, “Dear Time magazine, I already lose every argument I have with my wife. You just had to do this didn’t you?"
The Bad Moms star was praised in the piece by friend Zoe Saldaña for the roles she takes on as a wife, mother, daughter, producer, actor and director with the Avatar actress calling her “very much a leader, whether she is running a chat group of fellow mothers, organizing an event, or fundraising for causes she cares about.”
Kutcher underwent a physical transformation while filming Vengeance, adding a mustache to his look. During an August 11 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he revealed that it was “fun” to see how his wife dealt with it.
“We've been together for seven years,” he said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on August 11. "She was like, 'Oh, it's like a different guy!'"
“Grandma and Grandpa hopped on a trend 3 months late. But it made us laugh,” Kutcher captioned an Instagram video of the couple taking a social media quiz about their relationship. Per the results, the duo agreed that Kutcher said “I love you” first, is more patient and needs more attention. However, Kunis is seldom wrong and gets more annoying when hungry.
"Give you one guess where we went to celebrate the end of summer," Kutcher captioned Labor Day snaps via Instagram. He and Kunis took a selfie in front of stormtroopers and another in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle, revealing they were at Disneyland.
"The first time I told my wife that I love her was while listening to 'You and Tequila.' I might have had a little too much tequila," Kutcher shared during his Peloton series Our Future Selves. "I showed up drunk at her house, at like two in the morning, and I just started screaming, 'You and tequila make me crazy.'"
He added: "And I told her I love her, and she said, 'Don't say it if you don't mean it. Are you gonna love me in the morning when you wake up from this hangover?' And I woke up the next morning and said, 'I still love you.'"
After the Just Married actor and costar Reese Witherspoon made waves for their out-of-sync chemistry while attending the premiere of their movie, Your Place or Mine, Kunis texted her hubby in an effort to get him to loosen up.
“My wife called me. She texted me and Reese together. She’s like, ‘Guys, you gotta, like, act like you each other.’ And I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’ Here’s the thing: If I put my arm around her and was, like, all friendly with her, I’d be having an affair with her — the rumor would be that I’m having an affair with her," he said during an appearance on the "Chicks in the Office" podcast.
Kunis also emailed the Sweet Home Alabama star separately. “She goes, ‘You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together,’” Witherspoon revealed during an episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna at the time.
Designed for all skin types, this $11 rosehip oil targets signs of aging, dryness and dullness. They key ingredient in The Ordinary pick is rosa canina seed oil, which has a rich composition of essential fatty acids and antioxidants, both of which work on fine lines and scarring. In fact, that’s the only ingredient. And it’s the only ingredient in Middleton’s pick, too, so it makes sense to try the cheaper version.
To use the rosehip oil, The Ordinary recommends using it once a day, ideally at night. Apply a few drops to your hands and press the product into clean skin. That’s it! The result is more radiant-looking skin — and who doesn’t want that?
With all new skincare products, though, you should do a patch test to ensure you don’t have a negative reaction. The formula is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, alcohol-free and silicone-free, though. So, hopefully it’s an automatic winner.
The Ordinary’s quality products and fair prices are what to continue to gain the brand fans. Amazon shoppers agree that it’s worth every penny of the $11.
“This stuff is basically golden hour for your face. A few drops at night and I wake up looking like I drink water and mind my business — even when I don’t,” writes one verified buyer.
“Perfect addition to my skincare routine,” shares a five-star reviewer. “This hydrates & moisturizes your skin so well and brightens it. I also use with my gua sha. You really can’t beat the quality + price + what you get for the bottle size!”
If Middleton is seeing this, we just might convince her to save a little dough for The Ordinary rosehip oil. But, at the very least, we found a new addition to our skincare routine!
