Eric McCormack Shares BTS Details About 'Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue'

Eric McCormack loves anything to do with secrets — and it’s just as well, because his new show Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue is full of them.

The actor, 61, plays Kevin in the new MGM+ series which follows nine strangers who are stranded in a Mexican jungle after surviving a plane crash. But, in a plot twist: while they may have made it out alive following the initial air disaster, the survivors begin to be mysteriously killed off one by one while the others race to figure out why — and try to avoid the same fate.

Speaking to Us Weekly, McCormack confesses he loves the mystery and intrigue involved with the show and his character.

“The important thing about a show like this, but particularly the way that Anthony Horowitz wrote this one, is that everybody’s got a secret and we don’t get to see, we’re not privy to what it is,” he says of the show, which drops Sunday, March 2. “They’re all mysterious characters to us and to each other. And that’s what I loved. I love anything with secrets.”

Fall TV Preview 2024: Inside Must-Watch New and Returning Shows

He adds: “With Kevin from the beginning, he’s clearly got something traumatic in his past that he can’t talk about. And he clearly is a doctor, but not really willing to carry that forward. So, why?”

While the show may be set in the Mexican jungle, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue was actually filmed in the Canary Islands, an archipelago that is part of Spain. McCormack spills his own secrets about the reality of filming in the area.

“It’s a terrible secret to tell, but the truth is the island we shot on, there’s no jungle there. It’s volcanic. So it’s mostly a state-of-the-art studio,” McCormack shares with Us.

He adds, “It’s just that they created this incredible jungle for us to be in.”

Interestingly, the jungle the crew created for Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue was so realistic it quickly began forming its own ecosystem, according to McCormack.

“I mean, bugs are crawling on us, and I was yelling at props going, ‘Did you provide bugs?’” he recalls, before the realization dawned on him that it was doing it itself. “It started to feel more and more real.”

Still, the beautiful filming location itself was enough for McCormack to jump at the chance of signing on the dotted line.

“Before I read the script, it was like, it shoots in the Canary Islands and I said yes,” he admits to Us. “And that doesn’t give your agents much to negotiate with.”

As well as the stunning scenery to enjoy while at work, the international location also came with other perks for McCormack, including being able to bond with his fellow castmates, which includes David Ajala,  Peter Gadiot and Siobhán McSweeney. Since they were all working away from their home cities, they ate dinner together almost every night and formed friendships right from the get-go.

‘Will & Grace’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

McCormack recalls that the cast shot the opening scene — which involves a dramatic plane crash — on day one, and it happened to be the day after the birthday of cast member Lydia Wilson.

“I think there were two hours into drinks [the night before filming kicked off] and she said, well, this is the loveliest way to spend my 40th birthday,” McCormack says. “We went, ‘What? Today?’ She said, ‘Yes, yes, today, but don’t make a thing. So we had to blow that out a little bit and had a bit of a birthday party, and then the next day we had all day long to scream and hold onto seats and it was a trial by fire.”

The dramatic plane crash wasn’t the only tough part when it came to filming Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, though. McCormack says filming the show also came with some other challenges.

“There’s a scene that was actually quite real where one of the characters falls off of the side of a mountain, and I’m trying to hold on to her,” he says of one of his trickiest scenes to shoot. “And that was a hundred degree heat and then a lot of shots. That was probably the most challenging.”

Aside from the physically hard scenes, McCormack teases there is an emotional scene that involves his character Kevin and learning more about what his “deal” is that was also a tough one to shoot.

McCormack adds that filming remotely on an island made portraying their “stranded” on-screen characters a little more realistic, however.

“When you are all trapped in a space, a lot of the acting takes care of itself somewhere,” he says.

The New York Times Files to Dismiss Justin Baldoni's $250 Million Lawsuit

NYT Wants Baldoni Lawsuit Dropped

The New York Times has officially filed a motion to dismiss Justin Baldoni’s $250 million lawsuit.

According to Deadline, the outlet filed a motion in a New York federal court on Friday, February 28, defending its reporting of Blake Lively’s accusations against Baldoni, 40, on the set of It Ends With Us and asking for NYT to be removed from the lawsuit.

The New York Times is arguing that their reporting and newsgathering in its article “We Can Bury Anyone: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine,” which detailed Lively’s sexual harassment claims against Baldoni, was fair and accurate. In Friday’s court filing, the NYT accused Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios of making “one-sided” accounts of their feud against Lively that should not involve the NYT.

“The Wayfarer Parties’ FAC tells a one-sided tale that has garnered plenty of headlines,” the NYT’s court filing reads. “But The Times does not belong in this dispute.”

In a statement to Us Weekly on Friday, February 28, The New York Times doubled down on its move to dismiss.

“As our motion shows, this case should never have been brought against The New York Times,” a spokesperson told Us. “Blake Lively raised serious concerns about the way she was treated on the set and after the movie’s release. We did exactly what news organizations should do: we informed the public of the complaint she filed with the California Civil Rights Department. Mr. Baldoni’s misbegotten campaign against The Times — questioning our ethics, attempting to discredit our reporting, filing a baseless lawsuit — will not silence us.”

'The New York Times' Responds to Justin Baldoni's Defamation Lawsuit

Baldoni was among 10 plaintiffs, which also includes publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel as well as It Ends With Us producers James Heath and Steve Saraowitz, who began legal proceedings against the New York Times on New Year’s Eve 2024.

The plaintiffs sued for libel and false light invasion of privacy and alleged that the publication “cherry-picked” communications and omitted context in order to mislead readers in its article, which was published on December 21. The New York Times disputes their reporting was unfair or inaccurate in their motion to dismiss.

“Over the course of their 224-page First Amended Complaint (“FAC”) (plus an added 168-page timeline), the Wayfarer Parties breathlessly tell their side of an ongoing Hollywood drama involving actors Blake Lively (“Lively”) and Justin Baldoni (“Baldoni”), the stars of the film It Ends With Us,” the courting filing submitted on Friday reads. “The FAC has, to some extent, achieved its obvious purpose; the Wayfarer Parties’ story has been reported by countless news outlets during the last few weeks. What the FAC has not done, however, is plead a viable claim against The Times.”

Following the court filing, a spokesperson for Lively, 37, told Us Weekly that their side agreed that the lawsuit against The New York Times should be dropped.

“In its motion to dismiss, the New York Times correctly calls out Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit for what it is: a shameless PR document that has no business in a court of law,” a Lively representative told Us.

The spokesperson added: “For years, Baldoni urged men to listen to and believe women. But when a woman spoke out about his behavior, he and his billionaire backer Steve Sorowitz used a social media combat plan to scorch earth and try to ‘bury’ and ‘destroy’ her, along with the media who reports on it. These bullying tactics will not survive in court, and everyone should see their meritless claims for what they are.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Baldoni’s representatives for comment.

Justin Baldoni Files $250 Million Lawsuit Against New York Times

In December after the $250 million lawsuit was filed, Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman vowed to “take down” The New York Times, describing its reporting as a “vicious smear campaign” in a statement to Us Weekly.

“In this vicious smear campaign fully orchestrated by Blake Lively and her team, the New York Times cowered to the wants and whims of two powerful ‘untouchable’ Hollywood elites, disregarding journalistic practices and ethics once befitting of the revered publication by using doctored and manipulated texts and intentionally omitting texts which dispute their chosen PR narrative,” he said via a statement to Us at the time. “In doing so, they pre-determined the outcome of their story, and aided and abetted their own devastating PR smear campaign designed to revitalize Lively’s self-induced floundering public image and counter the organic groundswell of criticism amongst the online public. The irony is rich.”

He continued: “Make no mistake however, as we all unite to take down The NY Times by no longer allowing them to deceive the public, we will continue this campaign of authenticity by also suing those individuals who have abused their power to try and destroy the lives of my clients. While their side embraces partial truths, we embrace the full truth – and have all of the communications to back it. The public will decide for themselves as they did when this first began.”

Baldoni has also vehemently denied all of Lively’s claims, suing her on January 16 along with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloane (who has filed a motion to remove herself from the lawsuit) for $400 million.

Betsey Johnson Shares Behind-the-Scenes Memories From ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’

Betsey Johnson Shares Behind the Scenes Secrets of Judging RuPauls Drag Race
MTV/World of Wonder

Betsey Johnson didn’t hesitate to sissy that walk to the judges’ table on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

During the Friday, February 28, episode of the MTV reality show, the fashion designer served as a guest judge after contestants were asked to create an original outfit inspired by her. (Some of the looks include classic rhinestone shoes available now.)

“Well, I can’t say I dropped dead, but how much more of a blessing and a thank you can I get?” Johnson, 82, exclusively told Us Weekly of the moment she first learned about the task. “I said, ‘Are you sure?’ All through the show, I’m like, ‘Could you stop saying my name?’ This is so amazingly, unexpectedly, bizarrely great. I’m so lucky.”

Johnson has been a longtime supporter of RuPaul’s iconic reality show, which features a group of talented drag queens hoping to win the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.

Trixie Mattel: Inside a Day in My Life!

Before guest judging on season 17, Johnson appeared in RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and supported RuPaul’s DragCon.

“I love drag queens. I should have been one myself, really. I think I am one,” Johnson joked to Us. “It’s always such a happy time, very nice people across the board. The show I love. I never taped a happier show all day with Michelle [Visage] and RuPaul. I’m so glad they like me and I love them. It’s a really good mix.”

Sadly, Johnson and the judges had to send a contestant home in Friday’s episode. According to the designer, it’s the “worst part” of the job.

“I’m terrible with that. I hate to disappoint anyone,” she said. “You know you have to pick someone to say ‘bye-bye’ to and it does become clear. It does get easier, because you want to be fair to everybody else, and you have to edit. But there’s definitely someone who doesn’t live up to the gig. That’s all we’re going to say.”

Johnson has been a longtime supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community. In addition to having transgender models on her runway beginning in the ’70s, she has consistently partnered with charities to raise funds and awareness for LGBTQIA+ causes.

Having RuPaul’s Drag Race continue to air on television is something Johnson firmly believes in.

“I think it’s very important that we accept everybody on the planet,” she said. “Go full speed ahead and keep on prancing.”

While Johnson isn’t ready to spill the tea on who wins big on the current season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, she’s happy to share what she thinks makes a great contestant.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Stars Remember The Vivienne After Her Death: Tributes

For starters, one must have positive energy and talent.

“They basically have to be really f—ing good,” she joked. “It boils down to, usually, hopefully, the person that wins is technically, logically, visually, obviously, the most talented, and I always think the show is very fair in terms of the winner. It’s pure. If you got the vibe, if you got the talent, if you got it, you get it. There’s no politics. It’s the nicest, sweetest, friendliest time.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race airs on MTV Fridays at 8 p.m. ET.

According to the outlet, Hutchins said the Spyral team was aware of Trachtenberg’s health issues but she was set to attend the screening either in person or via Zoom — depending on whether she was well enough to be able to do so.

The event will reportedly still go ahead, but the Spyral team will pay tribute to Trachtenberg, per TMZ.

Stars React to Michelle Trachtenberg’s Death at Age 39

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum’s rep confirmed her death on Wednesday, February 26, shortly after news broke about her passing.

“It is with great sadness to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away,” Trachtenberg’s rep told Us Weekly in a statement. “The family requests privacy for their loss. There are no further details at this time.”

The statement was released shortly after police sources confirmed to Us on Wednesday that Trachtenberg was found unconscious inside her New York City apartment.

Trachtenberg’s death was officially listed as “undetermined” on Thursday, February 27, because her family objected to an autopsy, the city medical examiner’s office told the New York Post.

“Michelle was one of a kind,” Crawford, 39, who played Nate Archibald, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, February 26. “I remember her coming on set for the first time and just absolutely owning it. She was a force of nature and just so so unapologetically funny and magnetic.”

Meanwhile, her Harriet the Spy costar Rosie O’Donnell told Us Weekly in a statement that the news of her death was “heartbreaking.”

O’Donnell, 62, added: “I loved her very much. She struggled the last few years. I wish I could have helped.”

Porsha Williams Wants Justice in ‘Single Black Female 3’ Trailer

Porsha Williams is seeking justice in Us Weekly’s exclusive first look at the trailer for Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter.

“Monica, how does it feel to have the charges dropped against you,” The Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s character Detective Ebony Williams says to Raven Goodwin, who has starred as Monica and served as an executive producer in the Lifetime trilogy, in the trailer which officially drops on Saturday, March 1.

The clip then shows Monica standing in front of reporters sharing that “the murderer is still out there.” After Monica makes her declaration, the screen flashes to Amber Riley’s character, Simone, as she holds a gun up to Monica.

Fans were introduced to Monica and Simone in the 2022 Single Black Female movie. In the first installment in the horror franchise, Monica is grieving the death of her father and a breakup but is moving forward as she accepted a new job as an afternoon talk show host. While on her new gig, she gets an assistant named Simone, and the duo spark up an instant friendship.

However, it is later revealed that Simone does not have the best of intentions for Monica. Simone attempts to take over her life and tries to kill her. Monica learns that she and Simone are actually half-sisters.

While it was believed Simone died in a fire, it’s revealed in the second film that she survived the accident but has amnesia. Once Simone’s memories return, she’s out for revenge.

After Monica survives Simone’s first murder attempt, she tries to get her revenge in the sequel. Simone goes after Monica’s new love interest, a detective named Trevor Williams (Kendrick Cross). However, Simone ends up killing him after she seduces him. Monica is wrongfully accused of killing him but is exonerated at the end of the movie.

Donatella Versace Opens Emotional Milan Show With 'My Name Is...Versace'

When Donatella Versace presented her Fall 2025 collection at the Deposito di Baggio tram station in Milan on Friday, February 28, her name was all over the clothes, which read like a love letter to the Italian fashion house.

Fittingly, a remix of Eminem‘s 1999 debut, Grammy-winning single “My Name Is” blared over the speakers at the top of the show, with remixed lyrics for the chorus to “My name is…Versace.”

As the real Donatella tells Us Weekly exclusively: “This was a truly emotional collection for me. It was all of the best of Versace. Our codes, our power, our DNA! It was a collection for Versace fans around the world. Bold, fierce, unapologetic.”

Sitting in the front row were boldfaced names, including Oppenheimer actor (and first-ever male Versace Icon) Cillian Murphy, Versace supermodel Taylor Hill and Global Brand Ambassador Hyunjin, the lead singer of K-pop band Stray Kids, who Donatella calls the “Versace Prince.”

Seated under individual Versace blankets in place of name cards, they wrapped themselves up in the world of Versace.

The fashion show video teaser showed a platinum-blond dragging a gold fork along a Versace tablecloth, twirling her well-manicured finger around the rim of a Versace teacup and finally crashing face down in Versace Baroque-inspired black and gold sheets.

The collection transformed Versace home furnishings into quilted puffers, bustiers and ballgowns. Case in point: The first model sauntered on the runway in a skintight leather dress, peeking from beneath a luxurious shawl-collar Barocco-print sleeping bag coat with leopard accents. A dress and couture-gown rendered in the same wildly plush and patterned finish followed.

Sharp tailoring and another standout, as seen in a series of strong-shouldered looks with deep V-necklines that plunged down to the navel. The latter instantly recalled Jennifer Lopez’s viral jungle-print green dress from the 2000 Grammys that made J.Lo and Versace a household name.

For her part, Donatella made her final bow in a 1992 Versace black jacket from her late brother and designer Gianni Versace’s Miss S&M collection, which Carla Bruni wore on the runway at the time.

She waved and did a 360 twirl to graciously show her gratitude for the standing ovation — all the better to show off the gleaming gold buckles from every angle. “I am wearing a diamond and gold cross ring given to me by Prince for luck and a jacket designed by my brother Gianni, so I have him close to me,” she tells Us.

Prince gifted the ring to the designer before his death in 2016.

There was also another homage to the late, great artist, as seen on a male model in a sleeveless top made from the metallic chainmail-mesh fabric Gianni first developed in 1982.

The acclaimed “Purple Rain” singer modeled a near-identical version in 1995 when he starred in a Versace campaign photographed by the legendary fashion photographer Richard Avedon. The tribute was a key point in the brand’s history. As Donatella said in a 2018 Vogue interview: “Prince didn’t just influence my work; he epitomized what Versace stands for.”

When she stepped off the runway in her trademark towering leather platform boots, she was surrounded by a trio of models who closed the show in velvet minidresses with dramatic sculptural silk-lined hems with visible ultra-pigmented Baroque style prints. The scene-stealing ballerina silhouettes were made to echo Gianni’s stage costumes from the 1980s.

“I am really proud of this collection,” Versace tells Us. “My team worked so hard to make something super special and memorable.” The designer continued: “For me, this is creativity at its best. Free and unfiltered.”

Leighton Meester is sharing rare insight into her life as a mom of two.

In a new video with Vogue, Meester explained that her two children, whom she shares with husband Adam Brody, are aware of what their parents do for a living.

“My kids, they get what we do,” Meester explained. “They come on location a lot.”

But both Meester and Brody are careful to make sure their kids, now 9 and 4, get some balance and a good amount of time away from all the cameras.

“I don’t think that they’re fazed at all because they get a lot of us off set and a lot of us not working, which has been always like a really big benefit for both of us,” she told Vogue.

Inside Leighton Meester and Adam Brody’s Life as a 'Normal Couple'

In a 2023, Meester told People that having kids has forced her to reflect on her past.

“It’s all just so intimate and private,” she said of being a parent. “It’s something that I could never put into words, really. It’s such an emotional journey to have children, and it certainly has made me reflect on my own upbringing and childhood.”

She added, “Having children, I want to give them all that we never had when we were growing up, but also to be candid and open about how grateful we should be for everything that we have.”

It’s been reported that Meester has also signed on to Nobody Wants This as well. She is expected to play Abby, Kristen Bell‘s character’s “middle school nemesis who is now an Instagram mommy influencer.”

In 2022, she told Bustle that she feels “incredibly lucky to be in the position where I’ve gotten to work, but then take plenty of time off and be there with my children. It’s become obvious to me that that’s the most important job that I can have. That love is a never-ending well.”

Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke's Relationship Timeline

Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke found their happily ever after — and even celebrated it with two wedding ceremonies.

Badgley and Kirke initially sparked romance rumors in 2014. Four years later, the doula admitted that their early relationship didn’t feel too serious.

“I was sort of getting used to being a single mom, maybe a little too used to it. I had a really good thing with my kid and we were like this little team. Penn and I were dating, but it wasn’t nearly as serious as it is now, of course,” Kirke, who shares son Cassius with ex Morgan O’Kane, told Hey Mama in 2018. “I didn’t think marriage was in the cards for us. So I was sort of just chugging along, surviving and getting through the days, and I think the difference now is that I’m really living.”

The couple, who tied the knot twice in 2017, announced that they were expecting their first child together three years later.

“On the road again,” the musician captioned a close-up photo of her baby bump via Instagram in February 2020. “Pregnancy after loss is a whole other thing. After two miscarriages in a row, we were ready to call it. I stopped trusting my body and started to accept the fact that I was done. As a birth attendant, I’ve seen and heard it all. It takes everything I’ve got to detach lovingly from the losses I’ve been present for and be in my own experience.”

"You only get married twice, once I love you @pennbadgley," Kirke captioned a since-deleted shot of the You star following their second wedding ceremony in June 2017.

During an interview with Hey Mama in 2018, the U.K. native revealed why the pair decided to have two weddings, saying, "My first wedding was more of a civil ceremony with about 40 people that was able to join us in a pinch. The second one was more planned. 200 people came from all over the world. It just felt necessary to have both."

Kirke told Us that because the Maryland native doesn't have to fit the traditional dad role for her son, Badgley gets to "have more fun with him."

“Happy birthday, Dom,” Badgley captioned an Instagram tribute for his wife. “A super-brief review of your invisible qualities: A truly radiant soul, you seem to spark alight almost everyone you meet, like a 99% success rate. It’s really impressive, and quite mysterious. You encourage others to be honest, and brave, and gentle, and expansive. Your great capacity for empathy is obvious, something anyone can get warm by like a glowing stove. Your desire to be of service to others is miraculous. It is in your DNA. In pictures as a very young child, you exude it—a great care and sweetness; an invitation.”
He added: “You make others happy by you. For me, it is a joy to witness you when you are happy. For you, I always hope to be a source of joy. I’m really glad we’re married.”

During a conversation with former costar Chace Crawford, Badgley revealed that the last time he watched Gossip Girl was with his wife.
“It would be very interesting to watch it now,” he explained in an “Actors on Actors” interview for Variety in June 2020. “I watched with my wife, with Domino, before we got married. It must’ve been six months after we met. She had never seen it, and that’s the last time I can remember seeing an episode.”

Kirke announced via Instagram that the duo had welcomed their first child together, writing, "His heart shaped home ❣️ #40dayspostpartum." She also shared an Instagram Story of her newborn on the bed with her.

Kirke opened up about how the couple handles the actor's high level of fame.
"The best parts are watching the way he organizes it all," she quipped during an episode of the “Podcrushed” podcast, which Badgley cohosts. "The risky run with being with someone in the public eye is that they really take a lot from being recognized and needing and wanting that recognition. It's their fuel, needing that kind of validation."
The London native noted, however, that Badgley sometimes needs assistance in keeping a low profile.
"Penn is very graceful when it comes to that part of his career, like living in New York City where literally we're inundated every time we walk down the street," she explained. "Sometimes it's like ‘Penn, you're famous. Can you please put some glasses on? Or a hat or something?'"

“I asked [the creator of the show] Sera Gamble, 'Can I just do no more intimacy scenes?' This is actually a decision I’d made before I took the show," the Netflix star shared on an episode of his "Podcrushed" podcast. "I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it publicly, but one of the main things was, like, do I want to put myself back on a career path where I’m just always the romantic lead? Fidelity in every relationship, and especially my marriage, is really important to me."

"Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST!" Kirke wrote. "Spontaneous twins are beyond magical."
She continued: "We are stunned. We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley 👶♥️👶🎢#handsoffthewheel #monoditwins."

‘Gossip Girl’ Cast’s Dating History: On Set Romances, Crossover Marriages

Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley and more Gossip Girl cast members have settled down after skyrocketing to fame on the beloved drama.

During the series’ six-season run, however, there were several on set romances. While portraying on-again, off-again couple Serena and Dan, Lively and Badgley dated IRL from 2007 to 2010.

“I remember there was one point where we were just afraid of how our personal lives overlapping our work life could be perceived by our bosses,” Lively told Vanity Fair in 2017. “[But then] we were like, ‘Oh, no, that’s exactly what they want.’ They wanted us all to date. They wanted us all to wear the same clothes that we’re wearing on the show. They wanted that, because then it fed their whole narrative. People could buy into this world.”

Executive Joshua Safran went on to tell Vanity Fair that Lively and Badgley “kept their breakup hidden from the crew,” as they “did not want their personal drama to relate to the show.”

Lively and Badgley weren’t the only ones to mix business with pleasure on Gossip Girl. Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) dated Jessica Szohr (Vanessa Abrams) on and off through the series’ run before splitting for good in 2010.

Following her romance with Badgley, Lively was infamously linked to Leonardo DiCaprio for a whirlwind romance in 2011. “When I think about shooting the L.A. episodes, Blake was dating Leo at the time,” Joshua Safran told Vanity Fair, referring to the two episodes of Gossip Girl season 5 set in California. “She had this thing where she had a doll that she took photos of that she sent to Leo.”
Lively started dating now-husband Ryan Reynolds after meeting on the set of 2011’s Green Lantern. They wed in September 2012 and share three daughters: James (born in 2014), Inez (2016) and Betty (2020). The couple welcomed their fourth baby, son Olin, in February 2023.

Another on set romance, the actress who played Blair Waldorf was linked to guest star Sebastian Stan, who played Carter Baizen on several episodes of the CW series from 2007 to 2010. When asked about Meester’s steamy scenes with onscreen love interest Ed Westwick in 2009, Stan replied, “It’s work and everyone shares the same mentality when it comes to that. But we all laugh about it. The good part is I get to go home with her.”
While she was briefly linked to her Country Strong costar Garrett Hedlund in 2011, Us Weekly broke the news in 2014 that she had secretly married Adam Brody. The pair have appeared together on screen in multiple films, but fans are more fixated on the fact that they both appeared in iconic Josh Schwartz teen dramas, with Brody playing Seth Cohen for four seasons on The O.C. The couple share daughter Arlo (born in 2015) and a son — whose name they haven’t publicly announced — born in 2020.

When asked about his best and worst onscreen kisses on WWHL in 2015, the You star named Lively for his best (while they were dating) and his worst (when their characters got back together after their split).
Badgley dated Zoë Kravitz from 2011 to 2013 before exchanging vows with Domino Kirke in 2017. The duo welcomed son James in August 2020. They are currently expecting twins. The Easy A star is also the stepfather of Kirke's son Cassius.

While he often stays mum on his personal life, Crawford has been linked to Carrie Underwood, model Rachelle Goulding and Rebecca Rittenhouse. Us broke the news in 2019 that the Blood and Oil costars quietly split after three years together. While they were spotted together on vacation during summer 2021, they never publicly confirmed or denied that they were back on.

Despite his public declarations of love for Meester, the twosome seemingly never dated for real. In addition to his romance with Szohr, Westwick has been linked to models Jessica Serfaty and Tamara Francesconi.
The Wicked City alum was accused of sexual assault by multiple women in 2017. After denying the allegations, Us confirmed in 2018 that Westwick would not face charges due to insufficient evidence.
Westwick began dating actress and model Amy Jackson in 2021 and popped the question in January 2024. “Hell YES 💍,” Jackson captioned Instagram pics of their proposal. Westwick wrote that he “hit the jackpot” via his Instagram Story at the time. The pair traveled to Italy ahead of their Amalfi Coast nuptials that August. Later that month, Westwick and Jackson said “I do.”

In addition to dating her Gossip Girl costar Westwick, Szohr dated Aaron Rodgers — twice. After a brief relationship in 2011, Us broke the news in 2014 that they were giving it another go before things fizzled again. Szohr was subsequently linked to Scotty McKnight before she started to see hockey player Brad Richardson. The actress and the athlete welcomed daughter Bowie Ella Richardson in January 2021. In May 2022, Szohr announced that she and Richardson are engaged. "I said yes!" she wrote via Instagram at the time. The pair tied the knot in August 2024.

While working on the series, Settle and wife Naama Nativ, who share daughter Aven, called it quits. News broke of their divorce in 2010. Rumors subsequently ran wild about the Gossip Girl dad and Kelly Rutherford dating IRL, but the close costars always referred to each other as friends. After he officially moved on with Maria Alfonsin in 2014, they welcomed a daughter named Nalu in 2015.

The GG mom was briefly married to Carlos Tarajano from 2001 to 2002. She wed Daniel Giersch in 2006 and welcomed two kids: Hermés and Helena. Following their split in 2008, the former couple were involved in a lengthy custody battle as they lived in different countries. Us broke the news of her romance with screenwriter Chiswell “Chum” Langhorne in September 2018.

The youngest of the GG bunch, the Pretty Reckless songstress has kept her private life under wraps. She was briefly linked to Paul Weller’s son Natt in 2011.

Penn Badgley's Most Candid Quotes About Fatherhood Through the Years

Penn Badgley and wife Domino Kirke welcomed their first child together amid the coronavirus pandemic — and they are grateful for the quiet moments they got to spend locked down with the little one.

“The great bounty that we got out of it was our son,” the You star said during an October 2021 appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show. “I [also] have a stepson who’s 12, and his experience was, I think in a sense, different because they’re so social at that age, but our baby is, like, chilling. He’s only been with us and he loves it.”

Badgley and Kirke, who wed in 2017, announced in February 2020 that they were expecting their first child together after previous miscarriages. Their rainbow baby, son James, was born the following September.

Badgley quickly adapted to new fatherhood after James’ birth, he previously got a taste of parenting while bonding with Kirke’s eldest son, Cassius, from a previous relationship.

“He’s a really good stepdad,” the “Half Blood” songstress exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2019 of Badgley. “He doesn’t have to be ‘dad’ so he can have more fun with him. It’s really nice. The stepparent thing is definitely uncharted territory for me ’cause I didn’t grow up with one, but … he takes care of him really well.”

In February 2025, Kirke announced that she is expecting twins.

“I was curious [how] my new fatherhood would influence my experience with Joe and acting with him,” he told Access Hollywood. “But sometimes, it was almost not helpful because I was having such a light and joyful experience [and] still am, and Joe was, like, so petrified and so scared. Of course, I can identify with the fear, but he’s just so morbid in his obsessive self-preservation and primal instinct that sometimes I almost found it harder.”

Badgley opened up to InStyle about becoming a first-time “biological father” amid the pandemic.
“It’s just been us, my wife and I, taking care of him," he told the outlet. "And as a result, in some ways, we're thrilled, there's a beautiful joy and lightness to our connection with him. He seems to reflect that. And at the same time, it's so hard.”

While filming You season 3, the Margin Call actor enjoyed speaking with costar Scott Speedman about their respective parenting journeys. (The Felicity alum, for his part, became a dad in October 2021 when he welcomed daughter Pfeiffer Lucia with girlfriend Lindsay Rae Hoffmann.)
“It was so sweet. It was just like there's a world where it was just two men talking about the vulnerability of fatherhood,” Badgley recalled to Elle of their downtime on set. “It was one of my most memorable experiences of the season, and it was a very quiet, lovely day of work. We didn't get a lot of that. I think it's not always so quiet and sensitive. … There's a soft spot in my heart for him.”

While speaking with Jess Cagle on his eponymous radio show, the Maryland native gushed that James is “very happy and very joyful.”
He added: “We had a chance to be with him in a way we wouldn’t have and that is a strange blessing in [itself]."

The “Podcrushed” podcast host offered a rare update on James’ milestones following his 2nd birthday.
“He’s talking a lot. He says ‘you’ instead of ‘me,’ like instead of saying ‘I’m hungry,’ or ‘I’m finished’ he’ll be like ‘are you all finished?’ and I’ll be like ‘are you all finished’ and he’ll be like, ‘yeah,’” Badgley told Access Hollywood. “It’s very funny, yeah [it's cute]."

“There was recently a day where I was doing something really sweet with him, you know, like in my lap and then I sat on the remote,” Badgley recalled during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “It just went right to Netflix on the TV — and my face was right on the TV, and he was like, ‘Daddy!’ And I started to race around because the next thing he was going to see was something really crazy [on You].”
While the “Podcrushed” host was ultimately able to switch the program, he admitted to Fallon that he wasn’t sure how to tell his baby boy about his killer You persona.

Warrant Reveals Types of Pills Found After Gene Hackman and Wife's Deaths

Search Warrant Reveals Types of Pills Found in Gene Hackmans House
Marc Andrew Deley/FilmMagic

A search warrant has revealed more information about the pills found inside the home of the late Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa.

The warrant, obtained by People, reveals Tylenol, unspecified thyroid medication and diltiazem, a medication used to treat high blood pressure were found by the authorities.

The couple was found dead in their Santa Fe, New Mexico, home on Wednesday, February 26. Hackman, who was 95, was found fully clothed, near a pair of sunglasses, suggesting he may have fallen suddenly. Arakawa, who was 64, was found in the couple’s bathroom with an open prescription bottle on the counter and pills scattered on the countertop.

It is not clear which pills were found near Arakawa and to whom the three medications belonged.

What to Know About Gene Hackman, Wife Betsy’s Deaths After Sheriff's Update

As the investigation into their deaths and the death of one of their three dogs continues, police still have not determined a cause. Hackman’s daughter, Elizabeth, told TMZ that she suspected carbon monoxide poisoning, but both Hackman and Arakawa tested negative. The Santa Fe fire department also found no evidence of a leak, though fire chief Brian Moya told Today that they could not rule one out.

“That was a home with natural gas in it, so it could have [played a factor],” he said. “There’s a lot of unanswered [questions] there. When we arrived, we made sure our people as well as the sheriff were safe, and there was nothing that we found. We also went back again yesterday to do another round of searches … and we didn’t find anything as well.”

Both Hackman and Arakawa are thought to have died around the same time, possibly as long as two weeks ago. Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said in a press conference on Friday that Hackman’s pacemaker last recorded an event on February 17, meaning it’s possible he had been dead for nine days.

Both bodies were found to be decomposing, with Arakawa’s hands and feet also showing signs of mummification.

Gene Hackman and Wife Betsy Arakawa Last Photographed 1 Year Before Deaths: Photo

A forensic pathologist who is not involved in the case told Us Weekly that it was highly unlikely that the pills found near Arakawa were related to her mummification. Instead, the conditions of the room where she was found could have played a role.

“Mummification can happen anywhere from days to weeks [after death], given the right conditions, all the way through months,” the doctor said. “There’s certain circumstances that favor a body going into a mummification type stage as opposed to decomposition.”

One of the conditions that favors mummification is dryness. New Mexico is a dry climate. If the bathroom was completely sealed, keeping flies or other bugs from interfering with the body, that could also have contributed to the process.

‘Gossip Girl’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley and more Gossip Girl stars went on to big things after The CW series gave them their big breaks.

The teen drama ran for six seasons from September 2007 to December 2012. Fans became instantly obsessed with the lives of the elite youth of New York City, played by Lively (Serena van der Woodsen), Meester (Blair Waldorf), Badgley (Dan Humphrey), Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass), Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald) and Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey).

After the series wrapped, the cast built thriving personal lives with fellow A-listers and starred in some of the most popular television shows and films in the entertainment industry. Max ordered a Gossip Girl reboot in 2019, leaving many fans hopeful to see their favorite characters return.

“We’ve reached out to all of them to let them know it was happening, and we would love for them to be involved if they want to be involved,” executive producer Josh Schwartz told reporters in July 2019. “But [we] certainly didn’t want to make it contingent upon their [participation]. They played those characters for six years, and if they felt like they were good with that, we wanted to respect that. But obviously, it would be great to see them again.”

Despite making several references to the original series — as well as featuring a cameo from Michelle Trachtenberg as Georgina Sparks — the revival was ultimately canceled in January 2023 after two seasons.

'You' Cast's Dating Histories Through the Years

Love can be messy, but luckily for the cast of You, their offscreen relationships aren’t as rocky as those of their characters.

The drama premiered on Lifetime in September 2018, starring Penn Badgley, Ambyr Childers, Elizabeth Lail and more. Based on Caroline Kepnes‘ novel of the same name, season 1 followed Joe Goldberg (Badgley) as he went to extreme lengths to pursue a relationship with aspiring writer Beck (Lail).

At first, the series didn’t take off, but it picked up a major following when it moved to Netflix. Season 2 dropped on the streaming platform in December 2019, and the following month, a third season was confirmed.

The Easy A actor thinks “there’s value” in Joe not being a traditional romantic lead, he told IndieWire in December 2019. “I mean … I think a lot of what we talk about, the way they talk about love, in pop culture and as long as it ever has been pop culture, is actually quite distorted and sometimes — if not most of the time — has nothing to do with true love. Because true love is something that can be expressed between many different kinds of people, not just people who are romantically interested.”

The MOTHXR musician continued, “I think a lot of times what we’re talking about when we say ‘love’ is actually lust. There’s nothing inherently wrong with lust, but I mean, it obviously doesn’t always compel us to do the best thing.”

You isn’t Badgley’s first experience starring in a wildly popular series. He portrayed outsider Dan Humphrey on Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2012 and had plenty of fans swooning with his brooding performance. He even sparked a romance with costar Blake Lively, who played his onscreen love interest Serena van der Woodsen.

“I remember there was one point where we were just afraid of how our personal lives overlapping our work life could be perceived by our bosses,” Lively told Vanity Fair in 2017. “[But then] we were like, ‘Oh no, that’s exactly what they want.’ They wanted us all to date. … They wanted that, because then it fed their whole narrative. People could buy into this world.”

The duo ultimately went their separate ways in 2010, continuing to work together on the CW series. He went on to marry Domino Kirke in Brooklyn in 2017. After suffering multiple miscarriages, the couple welcomed their first child together in the summer of 2020.

Kirke is also the mother of son Cassius from a previous relationship, and the little one has a solid relationship with Badgley. “He doesn’t have to be ‘dad’ so he can have more fun with him,” she told Us Weekly exclusively in October 2019. “It’s really nice. The stepparent thing is definitely uncharted territory for me ’cause I didn’t grow up with one, but … he takes care of him really well.”

Production on season 3 of You was paused amid the coronavirus pandemic, but in February 2021, Badgley and his costars returned to set. Scroll down to see the cast’s dating histories through the years:

'Pretty in Pink’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

The cast of Pretty in Pink is all grown up — but they’ll never forget what it meant to star in the teen classic all those years ago.

The 1986 film marked star Molly Ringwald’s third and final project with its writer, John Hughes, who she had previously worked with on 1984’s Sixteen Candles and 1985’s The Breakfast Club.

“He was unlike any other director that I had ever met. He had spiky hair and these crazy sneakers,” Ringwald told Vogue in March 2021 in honor of Pretty in Pink’s 35th anniversary. “We really clicked and got along almost immediately. I was fairly introverted, but he just had so much confidence in me, to the point that I felt like I could do anything.”

In the film, Ringwald played Andie Walsh, a high schooler whose thrift store wardrobe made her an outcast with her more affluent peers including her bully, Steff McKee (James Spader), and her crush, Blane McDonough (Andrew McCarthy).

However, Hughes, who passed away in 2009, was so enamored with the then 17-year-old redhead’s style that he wrote the script with her in mind.

“At that point in my life I also just really liked pink — Andie’s room was basically modeled after my own,” Ringwald revealed to the magazine. “The prop people even took a collage from my personal bedroom and used it in the movie for Andie’s room, if that tells you anything.”

The costumes in the film were also inspired by Ringwald’s real wardrobe — but the former teen star hated Andie’s Pepto-Bismol-colored prom gown. She even “burst into tears” when she first saw it.

“I kept all of the clothes except for that dress because I hated it so much,” the California native told Vogue. “And of course now I wish I could frame it!”

Ringwald didn’t get to wear the dress of her dreams in the film’s big finale — but her character did get the man of hers. That wasn’t always the plan, though. Pretty in Pink originally ended with Andie choosing her bestie Phil “Duckie” Dale (Jon Cryer) over Blane. However, early screenings of the film found that audiences wanted to see their leading lady get the guy she had been pining for all along, not her nerdy friend.

When asked about the initial reactions to the ending, director Howard Deutch told Den of Geek in June 2020, “I had a heart attack because it was my first movie and we were in the screening room. … These kids that they recruited to watch the movie were screaming, loving the movie, screaming. It was like a hit! And then all of a sudden, the minute the ending came and Duckie was gonna be the hero they started booing.”

Deutch was forced to go back and filmed a new ending in which Andie got her happily ever after with Blane, which he still believes was the right choice.

“I think it was [Princess Bride director] Rob Reiner [who] said, ‘You can’t have the princess get the frog,’” he noted. “In other words, you have to give the women what they want and they wanted [Andie] to have what she wanted. She wanted the cute boy and forget the politics.”

After Pretty in Pink, Ringwald would go on to star in the coming-of-age comedy For Keeps, before playing the adult in teen movies like Teaching Mrs. Tingle, Jem and the Holograms and Netflix’s Kissing Booth trilogy. She was a regular on Freeform's Secret Life of the American Teenager from 2008 to 2013 before joining the cast of Riverdale in 2017. One year later, she battled her Pretty in Pink costar Jon Cryer on the musical reality competition series Drop the Mic. She released her debut jazz album, Except Sometimes, in 2013.Ringwalf was married to French writer Valéry Lameignère from 1999 to 2002 before she moved on with Greek author Panio Gianopoulos. The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Mathilda, in 2003 before getting married four years later. In 2009, they became parents to fraternal boy-girl twins, Roman and Adele.

As Andie’s iconic bestie — and unrequited crush — Duckie, Cryer got to show off his lip-syncing skills to Otis Redding’s “Try a Little Tenderness.” Now he is best known for his 12-season run on Two and Half Men, which ran from 2003 to 2015. The role of Alan Harper won him two Emmy Awards in 2009 and 2012 for Outstanding Supporting Actor and Lead Actor, respectively. He went on to appear as Lex Luthor on Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and Batwoman after previously playing Lex’s nephew, Lenny, in the 1987 film, Superman IV: The Quest For Peace. He released his memoir, So That Happened, in 2015.
Cryer married entertainment reporter Lisa Joyner in 2007. The two adopted their daughter, Daisy, two years later. He shares a son, Charlie Austin, born in 2000, with his ex-wife, British actress Sarah Trigger, whom he was with from 1999 to 2004.

After playing Andie’s crush Blane, the former Brat Packer went on to star in popular ‘80s films including Mannequin, Less Than Zero and Weekend at Bernie’s. He later directed TV shows such as Orange Is the New Black, Gossip Girl and The Blacklist, starring his Pretty in Pink costar James Spader. He became a well-known travel writer and published the memoir, The Longest Way Home, in 2012. He is also the author of the 2017 YA novel, Just Fly Away, and released his autobiography, Brat: An '80s Story, in 2021.
McCarthy directed and produced the 2024 Hulu documentary Brats, which, according to the film’s synopsis, “explores the cultural phenomenon” of the Brat Pack movies of the 1980s including Pretty in Pink. He and Cryer reunited at the film’s Tribeca Film Festival premiere.
McCarthy married his college sweetheart, Carol Schneider, in 1999 — 20 years after they first started dating. The two welcomed a son, Sam, in 2002, but divorced three years later. The New Jersey native got remarried in 2011 to Irish writer and director Dolores Rice, with whom he shares two kids, Willow and Ronan, born in 2006 and 2014, respectively.

His Pretty in Pink character Steff McKee was an arrogant trust fund kid that moviegoers loved to hate. The Boston native has since made a name for himself in cult films that viewers love to watch such as Secretary, Stargate and Sex, Lies and Videotape. In the 2000s, he landed memorable roles on TV shows including The Practice, Boston Legal, The Blacklist and The Office. He was also the voice of the titular villain in Avengers: The Age of Ultron.
Spader was married to decorator Victoria Kheel from 1987 and 2004. The pair share two sons, Sebastian and Elijah, born in 1989 and 1992, respectively. He began dating actress Leslie Stefanson, in 2002. They welcomed their son, Nathanael, six years later.

Potts’ character, Iona, was a mentor to Andie — and an ‘80s style icon. So, it’s only fitting that she went on to star in the CBS sitcom Designing Women from 1986 to 1993. She played Janine Melnitz in Ghostbusters and its sequel, as well as the 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife. She is also the voice of Little Bo Peep in Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 4. She played Connie "Meemaw" Tuckern the Big Bang Theory prequel series Young Sheldon from 2017 until the show was canceled in 2024. She later reprised her role on sequel series George & Mandy’s First Marriage.
Potts married her fourth husband, James Hayman, in 1990. The pair welcomed two sons, James “Doc” and Harry, in 1992 and 1996, respectively. She is also mother to Clay, born in 1981, whom she shares with her third husband, Scott Senchal. Potts was married to Senchal from 1981 to 1989.

Finn Cole on the Love Story That Anchors ‘Last Breath’

Finn Cole Last Breath s Love Story Make Sure You re Giving Love to the People Around You
Focus Features

Finn Cole knows the power of love firsthand — even when it’s tested by extreme circumstances.

“We’ve all, if we’re lucky enough, to have loved in our life,” Cole, 28, exclusively shared with Us Weekly at the film’s New York premiere on Tuesday, February 25. “It really helps in any performance because it affects so many stories.

In Last Breath, Cole plays real-life saturation diver Chris Lemons, who finds himself trapped 300 feet underwater with only minutes of oxygen left. While the film is a high-stakes survival thriller, Cole says it’s the love story at its core that anchors the film.

“I think the relationship between Chris and Morag was more representative of the struggles saturation divers have when they have to leave their families, friends, and people,” Cole explained to Us. “It’s opening up a conversation for anyone that has to work abroad and be away from the ones that they love for long periods of time.”

'Peaky Blinders' Cast: See What the British Stars Are Doing Now

He added, “Make sure you’re giving love to the people that are around you because you never know what’s gonna happen.”

Cole stars alongside Woody Harrelson and Simu Liu in the film, which is based on the 2019 documentary of the same name. They play a trio of saturation divers on a routine repair expedition when an unforeseen storm leaves them fighting for survival at the bottom of the North Sea. Cole and Liu, 35, both committed to three months of intensive scuba training to prepare for the shoot.

“My dad was a really keen scuba diver, but before we were born,” Cole shared, explaining that his father was an avid diver before starting a family.

“On holiday one year, he was like, ‘There’s an opportunity to take you diving.’ So we went out with some instructors, and me and my four brothers just became obsessed. We really enjoyed it.”

Last Breath marks a pivotal moment in Cole’s career, following his breakout role as fan-favorite Michael Gray on Peaky Blinders. With a highly anticipated Peaky Blinders movie in the works, Cole admitted he was “absolutely gutted” to miss visiting the set.

Costar Couples! Celebs Who Fell in Love on TV and Movie Sets

“I was away while they were filming,” Cole said. “I’m so excited to watch it. I’m so proud of that show and all the people involved. They’re absolutely awesome and I can’t wait for the movie. It’s going to be amazing.”

Last Breath is now playing in theaters everywhere.

Penn Badgley's Wife Domino Kirke Is Pregnant, Expecting Twins: 'Plot Twist'

Penn Badgley and wife Domino Kirke are expanding their family with not one — but two — babies.

“Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST!” Kirke, 41, captioned an Instagram post on Friday, February 28, alongside a photo of her, Badgley and their 4-year-old son, James. “Spontaneous twins are beyond magical.”

She continued: “We are stunned. We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley 👶♥👶🎢#handsoffthewheel #monoditwins.”

The couple, who got married in 2017, are already parents to son James and to Kirke’s eldest son, Cassius, whom she welcomed in a previous relationship.

Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke's Relationship Timeline

“He’s a really good stepdad,” Kirke exclusively told Us Weekly in 2019 of Badgley. “He doesn’t have to be ‘dad’ so he can have more fun with him. It’s really nice. The stepparent thing is definitely uncharted territory for me ’cause I didn’t grow up with one, but … he takes care of him really well.”

Kirke gushed to Us about watching Cassius grow into his own, adding, “Boys at 10 have the same amount of testosterone as they will have when they’re 18, so there’s a sass, but when I speak to him on the phone, he’ll be like, ‘Hey mom, you sound tired. You should go to bed.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, OK, thanks.’ Like, ‘Whoa, who am I talking to?’”

Badgley, 38, has also spoken about taking on the role of a stepfather.

“I was curious [how] my new fatherhood would influence my experience with Joe and acting with him,” he told Access Hollywood in 2021.

At the time, Badgley reflected on becoming a first-time “biological father” amid COVID pandemic, telling InStyle, “It’s just been us, my wife and I, taking care of him. And as a result, in some ways, we’re thrilled, there’s a beautiful joy and lightness to our connection with him. He seems to reflect that. And at the same time, it’s so hard.”

Penn Badgley's Most Candid Quotes About Fatherhood Through the Years

While filming season 3 of his hit Netflix series You, Badgley found himself connecting to his character, who welcomed a son on screen.

“I certainly had the great bounty of drawing on my own experience, becoming a new biological parent, and that was quite natural,” he recalled to Elle in October 2021. “There are some definitely sweet moments where I was able to do that, but I think by and large, [Joe’s] paternal instinct is at best primal. I think to be a good father or a parent, you need to really rise several orders above primal, but he’s at least primal, I guess.”

Charli D’Amelio Stuns in Skin-Baring Outfit With a Statement Belt in Milan

Charli D’Amelio has once again influenced Us — and this time, it has to do with statement belts.

It all started when D’Amelio, 20, was spotted at the Prada Fall 2025 runway show during Milan Fashion Week on Thursday, February 27, and let’s just say the TikTok sensation is continuing to take her personal style to the next level.

The social media star chose a midriff-baring ensemble from the Italian fashion house’s Spring 2025 collection. The two-piece set consisted of an emerald-green Radzimir Strapless Bra Top and a low-slung pleated skirt that was attached to a moto-chic belt.

Of course, the & Juliet ensemble member made the impossible-to-miss outfit appear timeless, effortless and classic. Long, beach-like waves added soft, earthy vibes and helped balance out the overall edgy flair, while minimal jewelry kept the attention on the show’s main star — a.k.a. her belt — which just so happened to accentuate her abs.

The Most Talked-About Looks at Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025

The former Dancing with the Stars champion isn’t the only celebrity who’s recently donned a larger-than-life waist accessory or a midriff-revealing outfit. Caitríona Balfe, 45, also displayed some skin and a chunky wardrobe addition at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards.

Courtesy of celebrity stylist Karla Welch‘s dressing magic, the Outlander actress arrived in a satin Prada crop top that featured keyhole cutouts at the neckline, a coordinating skirt and a leather belt like D’Amelio.

We’re not surprised that this risqué and bold aesthetic is being flaunted around the globe, as low-rise silhouettes are one of spring’s most coveted trends, along with oversized anything. More is more this season.

Even if you cannot imagine pulling off a daring belt like Balfe and D’Amelio, the accessory is coming back in a big way in 2025, even when styled traditionally. To reap the waist-snatching benefits, consider buckling up.
