Princess Charlotte’s birth announcement was lost in the streets of London for hours before the public knew she was born — but luckily, no one found it.
Jason Knauf, a former aide to Prince William and Kate Middleton, shared the story as part of a 60 Minutes interview released on Sunday, February 23. Soon after Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015, Knauf was given a piece of paper with all the details the public would want to know, such as the time of her birth and her weight.
However, Knauf lost the piece of paper.
“We were gonna announce it for another couple hours, and I had this piece of paper to get right this press release,” he explained.“I’m still out there with the hundreds of journalists trying to have a game face. And then I couldn’t find the piece of paper.”
To complicate things, Knauf believed he had “dropped it somewhere on the street.”
Luckily, “we managed to get through without an upset,” he continued. “But somewhere on that street the entire time was a piece of paper that said there had been a little princess born, what time and how much she weighed.”
Knauf never recovered the piece of paper, which is likely in a landfill somewhere in the U.K. by now.
Knauf also worked for another famous royal pair: the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In fact, Knauf is the aide who first lodged a bullying complaint against Markle. He later rescinded the complaint in August 2021
A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan denied the report at the time. “Let’s just call this what it is — a calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation,” they said in a statement to The Times. “We are disappointed to see this defamatory portrayal of The Duchess of Sussex given credibility by a media outlet.”
The couple’s team also pointed to the timing of the report, which came out days before the Duke and Duchess sat down for a tell-all interview on CBS in March 2021.
The statement continued, “It’s no coincidence that distorted several-year-old accusations aimed at undermining The Duchess are being briefed to the British media shortly before she and The Duke are due to speak openly and honestly about their experience of recent years.”
Markle’s representative told Us Weekly at the time, “The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.”

Steve Irwin’s daughter, Bindi Irwin, shared a sweet message in honor of her late father’s birthday.
“Happy Birthday, Dad,” Bindi, 26, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, February 22, on what would have been Steve’s 63rd birthday. Her post included a sweet throwback photo of Bindi with her dad when she was a child.
“To the world, you will forever be remembered as the greatest Wildlife Warrior,” Bindi’s post continued. “To me, you’ll always be the most incredible dad and now our family’s guiding light. I love you and I miss you every day.”
Steve — a wildlife conservationist and beloved television personality — died in September 2006 at age 44 after being pierced by a stingray barb. He is survived by his wife, Terri Irwin, and their two children, Bindi and her brother Robert.
Robert also shared a tribute to his dad via Instagram on Saturday, sharing a photo of a younger Steve holding a crocodile. “Always my greatest inspiration,” Robert captioned the post.
Both Bindi and Robert were young — ages 8 and 2, respectively — at the time of Steve’s passing. Robert, for his part, celebrated his 21st birthday in December 2024, and paid tribute to his dad on social media. In his post, Robert noted that “it can be hard to celebrate the milestones when there’s someone missing.”
“Today I turn 21,” Robert wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside several throwback photos of Steve. “I was looking through the archives a few days ago and I found these pictures of my dad on his 21st. It can be hard to celebrate the milestones when there’s someone missing, but I will carry his memory and passion with me in this new chapter of life. I am one lucky guy to be surrounded by my amazing family today. Time to celebrate!”
Bindi continues to run the Australia Zoo with Robert and their mother Terri, 60, as well as Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell, with whom she shares 4-year-old daughter Grace.
“He was the same person in real life as he was on screen, so I feel like Grace is able to grow up knowing him,” Bindi exclusively told Us Weekly in May 2024, revealing that she often plays footage from The Crocodile Hunter for Grace. “As soon as we turn Dad on, she starts doing her imitation, yelling ‘Crikey!’ through the living room.”
She added, “If I had the chance, the one thing I’d say to my dad is, ‘I love you, and I miss you. Every day that you aren’t here is hard. But we hope to be making you proud.’ I think when there’s love that is that great, it never truly goes away. He’s always with us.”
Dave Bettenburg is remembering the good times with Love Is Blindfiancée Lauren O’Brien amid ex drama.
“No one I would’ve rather shared these moments with,” Dave, 33, wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 21, before jokingly adding, “I must’ve been really mean!”
Dave also uploaded several show images with Lauren, 31, from their post-engagement vacation to Honduras and tagged her account.
Lauren shared similar images of the pair on her Instagram, writing on Friday, “Honduras! Group hangs! Friends!”
Dave proposed to Lauren in the Love Is Blind pods during season 8, which was filmed in spring 2024 and started airing on Netflix earlier this month. They first met in person after Lauren accepted Dave’s pod proposal before jetting off on the cast’s trip to Honduras.
During the getaway, Lauren admitted that she had been casually dating another man — with whom Dave had mutual friends — shortly before joining the experiment. The drama carried over to Dave and Lauren’s post-trip life together back in Minneapolis.
“Dave was like, ‘Did you date anyone before coming on here?’ I go, ‘I was, like, talking to someone a couple of months ago, but I wouldn’t have said that I dated them,’ but Dave has mutual friends with him,” Lauren said during a confessional interview. “I was giving [Dave] names and he’s like, ‘Oh, I know him. I see him at the pool all the time.’”
Netflix
While Dave didn’t want Lauren’s past hookup to deter their engagement, he consistently struggled to let it go.
“How do you go from seeing someone so recently to like, ‘I’m ready for marriage?’” he asked Lauren in a separate scene. “That just seems like a huge step in between. … That’s tough.”
Love Is Blind hosts Vanessa and Nick Lachey, meanwhile, defended Lauren’s past in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
“I think everyone’s situation is different,” Vanessa, 44, exclusively told Us earlier this month. “It’s very important to not be seeing someone while you’re on the show — we’ve seen that play out or not play out so well. But there’s no right or wrong.”
She added, “When you meet someone for the first time, and if you found out they just got out of a relationship, then you navigate that conflict. And [we’re] seeing how Lauren and David navigated that conflict, how what was important to him might not have been that important to her, or vice versa.”
Nick, 51, further acknowledged that Dave likely “felt it was gonna be a little awkward running into people that he knew” considering his fiancée’s dating history.
“That’s part of life [and] it’s not a specific Love Is Blind issue,” Nick quipped to Us.
Whether Dave and Lauren can overcome her ex situation (and make it down the aisle) remains to be seen in the remaining episodes of Love Is Blind.
Love Is Blind is currently streaming on Netflix. New episodes drop weekly.
In an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, which aired on Sunday, February 23, the couple’s former senior adviser recalled finding out about Kate’s cancer diagnosis from William, 42, in 2024.
“Within a couple of weeks, if you’re Prince William, you find out that both your wife and your father have cancer. And that is … I mean, I couldn’t believe it,” Knauf said.
Knauf said it was “awful” hearing the news of Kate’s diagnosis in a personal phone call with William.
“It was awful. Absolutely awful. It’s the lowest I’ve ever seen him. But the problem was that all this crazy sort of conspiracy theories kicked off in the background online,” Knauf said.
“Was she really ill? But they didn’t want to say yet that she had cancer because they hadn’t told the children and they were still working out how to tell the children,” Knauf added, referencing William and Kate’s three children — Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
Knauf was the communication secretary to William and Kate, 43, as well as to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, from February 2015 to March 2019.
He then served as a senior adviser to William and Kate before becoming the CEO of the couple’s Royal Foundation from September 2019 until January 2022.

Knauf’s comments echoed those made by royal experts in Us Weekly’s January cover story on the princess’ return to work.
Robert Hardman, a royal biographer, told Us: “Family was one of the reasons she didn’t announce her illness until relatively late in the day. It was the last day of school term, and they were keeping things normal for the children.”
“The priority was not her public image; the priority was her family,” Hardman added.
As for William, the prince told reporters in Cape Town, South Africa, in November that 2024 had “probably been the hardest year in my life.”
“So, trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult,” he said.
Kate announced her cancer was in remission on January 14.
“It is a relief to now be in remission,” she shared in a statement to social media. “And I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.”
If you somehow conquered the Ticketmaster queue and lassoed yourself tickets to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour last week, then the next order of business is to brainstorm your outfit.
Since Harry Styles’ Love on Tour and Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour especially, it seems as though mainstream concert attire has been taken to the next level. The theatricality that was once reserved for multi-day music festivals has been extended to the single-night tour stops of all your favorite Top 40 artists.
Whether you’re catching Kendrick Lamar and SZA, Tyler Childers or My Chemical Romance this year, there’s likely one item you’ll need: a clear bag. As more concert venues require the transparent accessory, it’s essential to have one in your collection. Thankfully, the available options have skyrocketed, so bulky, utilitarian iterations can be a thing of the past.
When I was shopping for The Eras Tour in 2023, this $20 Amazon purse was — and still is — my pick for a number of reasons. Not only is it affordable, but it also has personality and quality to back it up. The chunky pearls and gold embellishments were the perfect complement to my frilly, feminine dress. Meanwhile, the clear materials are thick and sturdy, and the zipper is smooth and easy to maneuver.
Additionally, the bag is roomy while still falling within the required specifications of most concert venues. I’m able to load it up with my phone, portable charger, lip gloss, keys, cardholder, earplugs and more. I don’t have to sacrifice any comfort or preparedness when I grab this purse from my closet.
I personally find the bag cute enough to use on occasions that don’t call for a clear purse. I’ve been known to carry it out to restaurants and bars on the weekend. Bonus: The included shoulder strap is removable if you prefer to carry it as clutch.
I’ve been a convert to this bag for a couple years now, and fellow shoppers concur. “Hands down, this was the best [clear handbag] I found, even in high-quality boutique stores,” one shopper says. “This bag had the best [PVC plastic] of about nine to 10 bags I held and saw.”
Now, while you sort out the logistics of transportation and search for shoes that are the best balance of fashion and comfort, at least you’ve already got your purse picked out!
Savannah Chrisley and Robert Shiver, Nic KerdilesJason Davis/Getty Images ; Paul Archuleta/Getty Images
Savannah Chrisley had recently started seeing now-boyfriend Robert Shiver when she found out that her former fiancé, Nic Kerdiles, had died at age 29.
“Robert and I started dating [on] August 17, 2023, and Nic passed away later in September,” Savannah, 27, recalled to People in an interview published on Sunday, February 23, noting she was out of town visiting one of her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, in prison following their respective fraud convictions. “When you go and visit, you don’t have phones. You’re not allowed any electronics. Before I went in, I just texted Robert, and I just said, ‘Nic died.’ That’s all I said.”
She added, “Keep in mind, we had been dating a month and when that happened, Robert reached out to my publicist, Alexa, and my best friend Tyler, and was like, ‘Hey guys, how do I show up for her? I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what to do. But just let me know if there’s anything I can do.’”
According to Savannah, Shiver, 40, immediately hopped on a plane to Florida to be by her side.
“He was there when I got out of visitation and he sent me a text and said, ‘Hey, I just want to let you know I’m here. I got you guys food, and I just want to get you home,’” Savannah recalled. “And he took me and [my siblings Greyson and Chloe] home. I had pictures of that day of him and Chloe playing rock, paper, scissors on the plane. When we got home I said, ‘I just want to go to where it happened. I just have to see it for myself.’”
News broke in September 2023 that Kerdiles died after a fatal motorcycle crash. (Savannah and Kerdiles dated on and off from 2018 to 2021. The former hockey player is survived by his parents and his sister.)
Once Savannah returned home to Nashville, she asked for Shiver to escort her to Kerdiles’ crash site.

“When we went to leave, we were standing at the stop sign, and Robert walks up next to me, and he goes, ‘Hey, do you mind if I say a prayer for Nic and his family?’” Savannah recalled. “In that moment, I was like, ‘This is the type of person you want to spend the rest of your life with.’ Someone who shows up for you, and shows up for you well, in situations like that.”
Savannah confirmed in September 2023 that she was dating Shiver, later telling Us Weekly that their romance was going “great.”
“I’m so thankful to just have such a great person in my life,” Savannah exclusively told Us in October 2023. “This is a relationship that I’m like, ‘I want to protect and love and even who knows where it’s going to end up,’ but even if it [didn’t end] up as The One, I am so grateful to have met [him].”
Patrick Schwarzenegger is addressing speculation that his famous parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, somehow helped him land a role in season 3 of The White Lotus.
“I know there are people who’ll say I only got this role because of who my dad is,” Patrick, 31, told The Sunday Times in a profile published on Sunday, February 23. “They’re not seeing that I’ve had 10 years of acting classes, put on [high] school plays every week, worked on my characters for hours on end or the hundreds of rejected auditions I’ve been on.”
He added, “Of course, it’s frustrating and you can get boxed in and you think at that moment, I wish I didn’t have my last name. But, that’s a small moment. I would never trade my life with anyone. I’m very fortunate to have the life and family that I have, the parents I have and the lessons and values they’ve instilled in me.”
Exes Arnold, 77, and Shriver, 69, were married from 1986 to 2011, during which they welcomed children Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher. (Arnold also shares son Joseph Baena with Mildred “Patty” Baena, whom he secretly welcomed during his marriage to Shriver.)
Despite Arnold and Shriver’s divorce, their family remains close.
“I hang with my family all the time,” Patrick told The Times. “I live within a few minutes of my dad.”
In fact, Arnold, Shriver and most of Patrick’s siblings supported him at the official White Lotus premiere earlier this month. Patrick plays Saxton in the Thailand-set season 3 of the HBO anthology series created by Mike White.

“I thought, ‘There’s no way I’m going to get this, everybody is up for this.’ I’ve been a massive fan of the show since day one,” Patrick recalled. “It was my dream goal, I think I manifested it.”
“I was like, ‘Eek, sorry, I’m gonna be gone the next seven months, so we’re going to have to push the wedding to next year,’” Patrick jokingly recalled to the British newspaper.
Ahead of filming White Lotus, Patrick also overhauled his fitness routine — often hitting the gym with dad Arnold — to get in shape to play Saxton.
“Me and my dad train together when we can,” the actor added in Sundayy’s profile. “We were both filming in Toronto recently, staying at the same hotel and worked out together every day. People [who] don’t like me on social media will say, ‘Why aren’t you bodybuilding?’ People always want you to do something else, but he’s undoubtedly been an influence in my life.”
“Family continues to be super important, even as we get older,” Patrick told Us in September 2024. “It’s nice as we bring in new people, whether it’s my fiancée, or Katherine with her husband, [Chris Pratt], or so on and so forth. We always have other guests that come to the dinner.”
According to Patrick, his mother hosts weekly meals for their entire brood.
“It’s kind of an open invite for friends to come, family to come, and it’s just a nice way to get everyone together,” he added at the time. “The world is always moving so fast. Everyone is so busy with kids and with work and traveling that it’s a nice moment throughout the week to settle down and have everyone be together.”

A potential sequel to Top Gun: Maverick is still in development, according to star Jay Ellis.
“So here’s what the story’s going to be. It’s going to be payback. No, no [I’m kidding],” Ellis, 43, jokingly told Us Weekly exclusively at the 2025 Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, California, on Saturday, February 22. “In all honesty, they’re still working on the script. They’re still working on the story. They’re wanting to get it right.”
Ellis portrayed Reuben “Payback” Fitch in 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick, which was based on the original 1986 film with Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. In Maverick, Cruise’s titular character showed Ellis, Miles Teller, Glen Powell and more the aviation ropes.
The latest film, which Cruise produced, was a critical success and prompted fan enthusiasm about a potential Top Gun 3.
“You know, Tom is a stickler, and that really comes from him wanting to make sure the audience gets what they paid for and that they’re entertained,” Ellis told Us on Saturday. “[So] that for those two hours, they can fully disappear in this theater, and the world around them doesn’t exist anymore, and [be] fully entertained. That’s where the focus is.”
Everett Collection
According to Ellis, Top Gun 3 would also need to enhance the story lines already explored in the first two films.
“[It’s also about] really making sure that this story is not done just to make a movie, but made because these characters are going to make people lean in,” he said.
While Ellis — just like Us — waits for more news about a Top Gun sequel, he has stayed booked and busy, recently filming Peacock’s All Her Fault miniseries. (A specific premiere date has not been announced.)
“All Her Fault‘s a lot of fun. I’m very excited for that. Sarah Snook is the boss on that one. Sarah Snook is, obviously, the lead of that show [and] what a great cast. It’s Michael Peña, Dakota Fanning, Abby Elliott [and] myself,” Ellis gushed. “It is … based on a book. You’re going to be, like, your fists are going to hurt so much. Your hands are going to be balled up in anxiety so much for this show. It was fun. We got to shoot it in Australia, which was really cool. Such a great thrilling, like, heart-pounding [show].”
He added, “It’s one of those things where it’s kind of, like, the Spider-Man meme. Everybody’s pointing … at each other like, ‘You did it.’ It’s a lot of fun.”
Jennifer Lopez and Max and EmmeCourtesy of Jennifer Lopez/Instagram
Jennifer Lopez is in her feels as her twins, Max and Emme, ring in another birthday.
Lopez, 55, shared a sweet video montage of her kids via Instagram on Saturday, February 22, in celebration of their 17th birthday. The video featured clips from the past and present of Max and Emme — whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
“Seventeen. I love you beyond forever ,” Lopez’s caption read with emojis referring to her long-standing nickname for the twins.
“I called them coconuts because, obviously, they are twins, there are two of them, and when they were in the crib and they were very, very little, their hair looked like coconut hair, on a coconut,” Lopez said on Live with Kelly and Mark in February 2022. “And so I used to call them coconuts, and it just stuck.”
“I like to think that they like [the nickname],” she added.
In the 17th birthday tribute, Lopez shared personal photos of Max and Emme from over the years, including some from their toddler days to more recent snaps of the teens. She paired the montage with Miley Cyrus’ “Edge of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix)” featuring Stevie Nicks.
Lopez welcomed the twins in February 2008 while married to Anthony, now 56. (They finalized their divorce in June 2014.) She then had long-term relationships with dancer Casper Smart and former MLB player Alex Rodriguez before marrying Ben Affleck in 2023 — 20 years after their first engagement. She filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, in August 2024 and their split was finalized earlier this year.
While discussing her role in Unstoppable in December 2024, Lopez told Entertainment Weekly that she struggles with the idea of being “enough” for her kids as a solo parent. (Lopez plays Anthony Robles’ mom in the boxing biopic.)
“I’ve been a single mom at times in my life, and [I’ve asked,] ‘Am I enough for them?’ And the truth is, all you need is really one good parent to love you,” she told the outlet, adding, “That’s what the movie gave me: You are enough.”
Lopez and Anthony still try to coparent the best they can, but she alluded to the fact that it’s been tricky with him being on the East Coast in a 2022 interview with Vogue. Still, Anthony captioned a photo in 2019 of the parents holding Emme’s hand on the way to a recital, “Nothing but love between us. @jlo.”
“Marc and I are good how we are right now,” Lopez revealed of their coparenting arrangement during a March 2017 appearance on The View. “There’s a reason we’re not together, but we’re great friends. And we’re parents together. We’re even working on a Spanish album together. [And] that has been even better for us. We met working, and that’s where we’re really magical, when we’re on stage together, and so we leave it there. That’s it.”
Anthony also shares daughter Arianna, 30, and son Chase, 28, with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado, sons Cristian, 24, and Ryan, 21, with ex-wife Dayanara Torres, and 20-month-old son Marco with wife Nadia Ferreira.
Author Ashley St. Clair said Elon Musk messaged her saying they have a “legion of kids to make” after their alleged son’s birth.
St. Clair — who is suing Musk for sole custody of their alleged child — shared social media messages which she claims were sent by Musk, 53, in a paternity petition filed on Friday, February 21.
Photos of a series of DM exchanges, published by People, showed St. Clair allegedly messaging Musk at the beginning of February 2025 to ask him to speak “in person” and mentioned “a major rift in our relationship that I truly wish was better for the sake of our son.”
Musk allegedly responded with the message, “Hmmm ok,” after which Clair sent a moving image of Jim Carrey reciting the “Alrighty Then” catchphrase from 1992’s Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
“Well, we do have a legion of kids to make,” Musk allegedly wrote back.
In another set of alleged messages between Musk and St. Clair, exchanged in November 2024, Musk called St. Clair “cutie” and wrote: “I want to knock you up again.”
St. Clair filed a petition with the New York Supreme Court for custody of her child on Friday, February 21, multiple outlets reported.
In the court filing, St. Clair said she and Musk began a “romantic relationship in or about May 2023” and alleged that she gave birth to their child in September 2024.
“[Musk] has met him only three (3) times and has no involvement in his care and upbringing,” the petition reportedly states.
According to People’s report on the separate custody petition, St. Clair said the “last time” Musk visited their son was on November 30, around four days after he sent the “knock you up again” message. She said the visit lasted 30 minutes and came more than two months after Musk’s other two visits on September 21 and September 22.
“Ashley St. Clair has filed paternity and custody petitions to protect the best interests of her child,” St. Clair’s representative Brian Glickich told People.
“She has made every effort to collaborate with Mr. Musk before taking this step. She has no further comment on the contents of the petitions, which speak for themselves,” the statement added.
Musk has 12 other known children; he fathered six children with his first wife, Justine Wilson, before welcoming three kids with Grimes. He also shares three children with Shivon Zilis.
Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, revealed in a TikTok video that she found out about her alleged new half-sibling on social media.
“Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I found out I had half-siblings through Reddit, I’d have two nickels … which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice, right,” Wilson, 20, said in the video, published on February 15.
Musk has not publicly responded or commented on St. Clair’s claims. A representative for Musk did not respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment on the initial lawsuit.
The second season of Nobody Wants This is about to start filming after blowing up online — but is every fan favorite returning for more episodes of the show?
Nobody Wants This, which premiered in September 2024, centered on the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman Joanne (played by Kristen Bell) and an unconventional rabbi Noah (portrayed by Adam Brody). The Netflix series received praise from critics and fans alike for the intense onscreen chemistry displayed between the two leads.
“They just have, like, unreal chemistry. It’s crazy because they’re friends in real life. They don’t have that chemistry off camera,” series creator Erin Foster, who based the show off her own marriage, told TVLine at the time. “There’s no, like, sexual tension on set, and then the camera goes, and it’s like, ‘Holy s—!’ It’s really there.”
While season 1 ended up on a hopeful note for Joanne and Noah, it remains to be seen whether they can continue to weather various relationship challenges. Foster clarified that fans shouldn’t be worried about missing too much of Joanne and Noah’s timeline when the show returns.
“I think we’ll pick up mostly more or less where we left off,” Foster told The Hollywood Reporter in October 2024. “Not the same night, but the same moment of, ‘So, what now? How do we do this?’”
Foster noted that Netflix urged her not to move the story along too quickly in season 1, avoiding “manufactured time jumps” that wouldn’t let the audience “experience the minutiae of how a relationship unfolds.”
In addition to the show’s original cast, Nobody Wants This surprised viewers with some newcomers — including Brody’s real-life wife, Leighton Meester.
“He’s my favorite actor, and he’s my favorite person. So the two of those things just make for a wonderful day at work,” Meester told TVLine in February 2024 days before her casting was announced. “I get to be with my best friend, who I love and look up to. I always forget that I’m watching him when I am, and whenever I work with him, it feels very secondhand, and there’s so much love and trust. So I’m just grateful every time I get to be on set with him.”

Before returning to film season 2, Bell teased what fans can expect, telling Variety in December 2024, “We’ve added some delicious people to the mix, [new showrunners] Jenny Connor and Bruce Eric Kaplan, which is very exciting. Nothing has been completely decided yet, but the writers have been in it for about a month. The season is roughly boarded out and I’m very happy.”
She continued: “That’s one thing I really respect about Erin Foster, who created the show, and even the newcomers we’ve had this season come in. Their commitment seems to be, ‘We gave the people what they wanted.’ The second season, we’re not going to have Godzilla make an entrance. It’s not going to become an alien show. No evil twins.”
Noah Roklov
Stefania Rosini/Netflix
“I don’t care [what happens in season 2], as long as it’s clever and sweet and funny, you know what I mean?” Brody told Variety that same month. “I want it to be good, and that can take many forms. I’m not too invested in the twists and turns as long as they’re true and smart and fun to play.”
Morgan
Hopper Stone/Netflix
Justine Lupe is returning as Joanne’s younger sister and podcast cohost in the next season of Nobody Wants This. Based on some new casting developments — more on that later — fans should expect Morgan’s love life to be at the center of season 2.
Expanding on the various family dynamics means bringing Timothy Simons back as Noah’s older brother.

“Season 2 is a-coming,” Tohn, who was promoted to series regular for season 2, exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2024. “It’s so nuts and so exciting. I mean, you make a show, you have no idea who’s going to watch it or if anyone’s going to watch it.”
She added: “I think that Kristen and Adam are really charming. I think the writing is fabulous, and I do think it’s really an easy watch, obviously. I mean, my opinions are the opinions of the people who love it. I’m just like, ‘Oh, this is what I’m clocking.’ Everyone’s loving it, watching it multiple times … and I guess I’m hearing from a lot of people that rom-coms were gone.”

Patrick, 29, and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, hosted a celebratory Bluey-themed gathering on Saturday, February 22, in honor of daughter Sterling turning 4 years old.
“The annual boys pic,” Brittany, also 29, wrote via Instagram Stories, uploading a snapshot of Patrick and former Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Nic Shimonek with their respective sons during the party.
Patrick held his son Bronze, 2, while Shimonek, 30, carried his two children with wife Betina Gozo Shimonek. The Mahomes boys, for their part, both wore baby blue outfits and smiled for the camera.
In the photo, Patrick rocked a cropped hairdo. The Chiefs star had recently appeared to chop off his signature curls after the 2025 Super Bowl earlier this month.
Patrick — who lost the NFL championship 40-22 to the Philadelphia Eagles — is a father of three. In addition to Sterling and Bronze, he and Brittany welcomed daughter Golden last month.
“I think people don’t even realize how much she does. I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and make it where I can focus on football and focus on my craft and everything like that,” Patrick said of his wife during a May 2024 appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast. “[She’s] a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, [which] makes it a lot easier. I mean, when you get to come home and your best friend’s there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to be there all the time and she pushes me to be great and she’s done a lot of great things herself.”
Patrick and Brittany have been together since high school, and the former soccer star has always proudly cheered on her man from the sidelines. Now, Brittany brings their children to watch his Chiefs games.
“I just try to cherish that. I still remember moments from the World Series my dad played when I was 5 years old,” Patrick said during a January press conference, referring to his father’s past MLB career. “So, these are moments I’ll have with my family for the rest of my life.”
He continued at the time, “It’s a growing family, but [I] hope we are done growing for a little while. It’s cool that I’m able to play in these big games and the Kansas City community has brought me in to be a part of their family.”

Late hockey star Johnny Gaudreau’s wife, Meredith Gaudreau, is celebrating their son’s 1st birthday.
“Happy 1st Birthday to our baby boy! We love you so much, Baby Johnny! Already so strong and so special,” Meredith wrote via Instagram on Saturday, February 22. “‘I can’t believe you gave me a boy,’ is all John said over and over again when baby Johnny arrived. I couldn’t stop staring at how happy John was — one of the best moments of my life.”
She added, “Baby Johnny you are Mommy’s rock and Noa’s best friend. All of Daddy’s accomplishments don’t compare to the pride and joy he had in being your father.”
Johnny, who died in August 2024, and Meredith shared daughter Noa, 2, and son Johnny, 12 months. Meredith is also currently pregnant with the couple’s third baby.
“I can’t wait to give you a little sibling soon! Everything for you, Baby Johnny,” Meredith continued in her social media upload. “We love you so much !”
Meredith closed her note with an emotional message to her late spouse, writing, “Thank you, John, for giving me our boy. Thank you for our family. Crazy first year but today we celebrate.”
Meredith took the kids to watch a Columbus Blue Jackets hockey game — the team that Johnny played for ahead of his death — on Saturday. During the matchup, the crowd serenaded Johnny Jr. with a rendition of “Happy Birthday.”

“Thank you @bluejacketsnhl for helping make Johnny’s 1st birthday so special,” Meredith wrote via her Instagram Stories later on Saturday. “I know baby Johnny’s dad appreciates this and is proud of the big win!” (The Blue Jackets beat the Chicago Blackhawks 5-1.)
Johnny and his younger brother, Matthew Gaudreau, were struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver in a biking accident last summer. They were 31 and 29, respectively.
In addition to Meredith and their children, Johnny is survived by the brothers’ parents and their two sisters. Matthew is also survived by his wife, Madeline Gaudreau, and their infant son, Tripp.
Madeline also shared a birthday tribute to her young nephew on Saturday.
“Happy Birthday Johnny, your Uncle Matty loves you sooooo much,” Madeline wrote via her Instagram Stories. “And Aunty Madeline loves you so much.”

Madeline gave birth to Tripp in December 2024, four months after Meredith revealed her current pregnancy during the brothers’ funeral.
“We’re actually a family of five,” Meredith said in her September 2024 eulogy. “I’m in my ninth week of pregnancy with our third baby. A total surprise, but again, John was beaming and so excited. I was so nervous because this was, again, a total surprise. But his reaction was just immediately kissing me and hugging me even though I was driving the car. After the initial excitement sank in, every time he looked at me, he would say, ‘You’re nuts, you know that? Three kids?’”

NBC’s Grosse Pointe Garden Societyrevolves around a murder — but even the cast didn’t know the identity of the dead body their characters were burying.
During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Ben Rappaport previewed what viewers can expect from the series, which premieres on Sunday, February 23, saying, “It all starts with our showrunners, Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs. It is remarkable how they have woven this thing together. The rollercoaster ride they’ve taken us on is absolutely incredible. Every couple of weeks we get the new scripts and we read them and are like, ‘Oh my God, what happens next?’ And we’re just dying for the next one.”
“But all four of us have our own very intricate story lines that branch off of this. It just keeps you guessing all along the way,” he explained. “I think that’s the thing that’s going to hook people is the addictive quality in every episode where you think you’re getting closer — but then maybe you’re not. There’s a lot of twists and turns.”
The actor continued: “But also the tone of the show [is so different]. There’s a murder mystery at the center, but it is truly a lot of fun and there’s a ton of humor in it. So I think, tonally, it’s a very engaging and addictive watch.”

According to the synopsis, Grosse Pointe Garden Society follows four members of a suburban garden club “who find their lives intertwined by scandal, mischief and a shared secret — a murder no one wants to talk about.” As the dark truths “begin to rot their lives under the surface, they struggle to remain as perfect as the flowers blooming in their garden above.”
In addition to Rappaport, Grosse Pointe Garden Society stars Melissa Fumero, Aja Naomi King, AnnaSophia Robb, Matthew Davis, Alexander Hodge, Nancy Travis and Felix Wolfe. Despite bringing the main characters to life, no one knew where the show was going when they filmed season 1.
“As a cast, we just found out very recently that information [about who is killed], which of course we are sworn to secrecy about. But for a long time we did not know,” Rappaport revealed. “That’s part of what was so fun about the twists and turns. Just like the audience, they really kept us guessing. As an actor, that’s part of the reason I really enjoy doing TV. You play a character through a variety of different circumstances and journeys. I really enjoyed not knowing to be honest with you.”
Rappaport couldn’t share much about what is to come but can’t wait for others to join in on the adventure, adding, “Throughout the episodes, we go through different parallel timelines. We jump back and forth between timelines. So you’re like, ‘Wow, how did we end up here?’ Then throughout the season, those timelines begin to converge. The biggest difference between [my character] Brett in the future [and in the present] is he is very stressed out. Especially all four of us, you’ll see our most stressed-out versions of ourselves in the flash forwards and in the future scenes.”
Grosse Pointe Garden Society premieres on NBC Sunday, February 23, at 10 p.m. ET and new episodes are available to stream on Peacock the next day.
Scott Foley has starred in some of TV’s best fictional dramas — but when it comes to his own entertainment, he and wife Marika Domińczyk are all about reality.
“Very little excites us more than a new season of [MTV’s] The Challenge!” Foley, 52, exclusively shares in Us Weekly’s latest What I’m Obsessed With series, on newsstands now. “We’ve been watching for 20 years and feel like we know each contestant, their fears and strengths and for us, it’s pure comfort.”
The Challenge, which premiered in 1998, is a reality competition show that started as a spinoff to two of MTV’s popular reality shows: The Real Worldand Road Rules. In the game, reality TV stars from both series compete in physical and mental challenges to win cash prizes. Since it premiered, The Challenge has become more successful, outlasting both of the original shows. There have been 40 seasons aired in addition to 12 spinoff seasons, and the show has filmed on six different continents.
While Foley enjoys snuggling up with his family and watching from his couch — he and Domińczyk share daughter Malina, 14, and sons Keller, 12, and Konra, 10 — he’s likely not preparing to sign up himself any time soon. But Foley’s own job takes him to plenty of exotic places, too. For his new film La Dolce Villa, the actor got to spend eight weeks in Italy — a huge selling point when it came to accepting the role.
“I read the script and was like, ‘Oh, there’s no way they’re gonna shoot this in Italy.’ And then, they said, ‘We’re gonna shoot it in Italy.’ And I thought, ‘Well, I kind of have to do it,’” Foley told Colliderearlier this month. “It worked out really well. Italy, the country, and then these little towns we shot in, really was another character in this film, and it adds to the wanderlust of all this.”
The romantic comedy, which hit Netflix on February 13, stars Foley as Eric, a father who, after discovering that his daughter, Olivia (Maia Reficco), recently bought a crumbling Tuscan villa, rushes across the pond to try and talk her out of it. When he arrives, he realizes that there just might be beauty, romance and a new purpose waiting there for him as well.
“The relationships in this movie are really important,” Foley told Collider. “There’s the relationship with [his] daughter and overcoming the divide that has grown between us since the passing of my wife and her mom, and then being open to not just another love in another person, but really a whole new life for my character. To a certain degree, he’s leaving behind everything he had and starting anew. You’re getting to see the revitalization of this person and this character.”
Foley may prefer a little reality TV to unwind, but he still has Us pressing play on all his best leading man moments, from Felicity to Scandal, and now, to La Dolce Villa. Keep scrolling for a list of everything Foley is currently obsessing over right now:
‘Interstellar’
“I don’t know how I missed it when it initially came out but I’m obsessed,” the actor tells Us. “The idea that love can transcend basically anything really resonated with me. Everything from the concept to the acting to the production design is really stellar (see what I did there)!”
Foley noted that it’s Matthew McConaughey’s performance in particular that really makes the film memorable. “I also love a good heartbreak and watching McConaughey’s character [Cooper] choose to leave his family, choose to take on missions that extend the amount of time away from them … crushing.”
‘The Challenge’ and More Good TV
In addition to Foley’s Challenge obsession, he’s also a big fan of shows like Showtime’s The Agency an espionage thriller starring Michael Fassbender.
‘The God of the Woods’
When it comes to his reading list, Liz Moore’sThe God of the Woods lands in the top spot — “I flew through it, absolutely loved it,” he says — but Foley has more than just one recommendation.
“Right before that I downloaded this new nonfiction piece by, of all people, John Grisham,” he tells Us. “I’ve been a fan since The Firm but this book Framed, co-authored by Jim McCloskey — who is the founder of Centurion Ministries, which was the first organization in the world devoted to freeing the wrongly convicted — this book and the stories that they tell about those imprisoned for crimes they didn’t commit has really stuck with me.”
Zach Bryan
The Scandal alum knows he’s not alone when it comes to his music playlist. “I think I’m on the bus with this one … Zach Bryan seems to be a daily listen for me,” he confesses. “We sing his songs as a family in the car.”
He added that Bryan’s music also served an important role in a mournful family moment recently: “My wife even used his song ‘Pink Skies’ on an Instagram post she made when we had to put one of our dogs down last week. Hard not to cry whenever I listen to it now.”
The ‘Pivot’ Podcast
Foley, a self-proclaimed “big podcast consumer,” says he jumps back and forth “between industry news, politics and just fun listens.” Recently, however, there has been one show that he prefers most: “I’ve been learning into ‘Pivot,’” he said of the Kara Swisher and Scott Galloway-hosted podcast. “The cover topics I care about in a way that doesn’t make me feel like I’m in too deep.”

It’s been four weeks since Princess Beatrice welcomed her second baby on January 22 — and Us Weekly has new insight into her upbringing.
Buckingham Palace announced on January 29 that Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, named their newborn daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi..
The new baby is partially named after her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. However, royal experts told Us Weekly that Athena’s upbringing is likely to be extremely different to the late monarch’s other descendants.
Hugo Vickers, a royal historian and biographer, told Us: “Athena will just be a member of the family. Otherwise she will have a completely non-royal upbringing.”
Vickers said Athena’s non-royal status is due to Princess Beatrice being a non-working royal. Though Beatrice is ninth in line to the throne, she lives a private life and does not usually take part in royal engagements on behalf of her uncle King Charles III.
Athena is the younger sister of Sienna, who was born in September 2021, and Christopher Woolf “Wooflie,” born in 2016. (Woolfie was born from Edoardo’s previous relationship with Dara Huang.)

Athena and her siblings will have more privacy than Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton’s eldest children, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte 9, who “have as normal an education as possible but obviously they do take part in royal engagements,” Vickers said.
Jack Royston, a royal commentator and podcast host, told Us that Beatrice will have the opportunity “to choose how much fame and how much exposure she wants for her children.”
Unlike her sister, Princess Eugenie, who regularly posts photos of her two children on Instagram, Beatrice has so far been selective about what she shares when it comes to her own kids.
Beatrice and Eugenie’s children will, of course, also be known as the grandchildren of Prince Andrew, who celebrated his 65th birthday on Wednesday, February 19.
Andrew stepped back from royal duties following his bombshell interview with Emily Maitlis for Newsnight in November 2019, where he opened up about his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew was accused of sexual assault by a woman named Virginia Guiffre, who alleged that Epstein forced her to have sex with the prince when she was 17. Andrew has vehemently denied the accusations, and in February 2022 he settled Guiffre’s lawsuit for an undisclosed sum.
It was widely reported that Andrew walked his daughter down the aisle when Beatrice married Edoardo in July 2020. However, the prince was noticeably missing from family photos released by the palace.
“The greatest gift that Princess Beatrice can give her children is to offer them choice and control over the kind of life they want to live, whether private or public,” Royston said.
“For Prince George and his siblings, no one can stop them becoming global megastars. Fans will be hoping Prince William’s own childhood armed him with coping strategies that he can pass on,” he added.
It’s an understatement to say Love Is Blind season 8 star Dave Bettenburg is struggling with fiancée Lauren O’Brien’s past situationship — but does he have a right to be upset?
“I think everyone’s situation is different,” Vanessa Lachey exclusively told Us Weeklyduring an interview with her cohost and husband, Nick Lachey, when asked if there are rules for how long you should be single before the experiment. “It’s very important to not be seeing someone while you’re on the show — we’ve seen that play out or not play out so well. But there’s no right or wrong.”
David and Lauren left the pods engaged in the first drop of episodes on February 14. In the second installment, released on Friday, February 21, David begins to give Lauren a hard time for hooking up with someone — with whom he has mutual friends — in the months leading up to production.
“When you meet someone for the first time, and if you found out they just got out of a relationship, then you navigate that conflict,” Vanessa continued. “And [we’re] seeing how Lauren and David navigated that conflict, how what was important to him might not have been that important to her, or vice versa.”
Nick acknowledged that David “felt it was gonna be a little awkward running into people that he knew,” but added, “That’s part of life [and] it’s not a specific Love Is Blind issue.”
On the show, Lauren spoke to the Netflix cameras about her situationship.

“Dave was like, ‘Did you date anyone before coming on here?’ I go, ‘I was, like, talking to someone a couple of months ago, but I wouldn’t have said that I dated them,’ but Dave has mutual friends with him,” she explained. “I was giving [Dave] names and he’s like, ‘Oh, I know him. I see him at the pool all the time.’”
While Dave said he didn’t want the situation to affect their relationship after their post-pods trip to Honduras, he struggled to let it go.
“How do you go from seeing someone so recently to like, ‘I’m ready for marriage?’” he asked. “That just seems like a huge step in between. … That’s tough.”

Upon returning to Minneapolis, Minnesota — which the cast has reiterated doesn’t have a large dating pool — Lauren’s friends tried to assure Dave that the pre-show romance wasn’t serious.
“We would’ve hung out with him if they were dating,” one pal argued.
What’s in a name? Apparently a lot for these Hollywood stars, who’ve been bidding adieu to their famous monikers.
For as long as most can remember, stage names have been a common practice in Hollywood. Judy Garland (born Frances Ethel Gumm) changed her moniker to appear more theatrical. Elton John (a.k.a. Reginald Kenneth Dwight) ditched his legal name in his 20s in hopes of standing out from the crowd. Katy Perry tweaked her surname (Katheryn Hudson) to avoid being confused with actress Kate Hudson. Even Reese Witherspoon opted to drop her first name, Laura Jeanne, in favor of her mother’s maiden name before she broke onto the scene.
But lately, we’ve seen a rise in mega-successful stars ditching the names that made them famous. On January 31, The Weeknd (a.k.a. Abel Tesfaye) released his album Hurry Up Tomorrow, which marked the end of his After Hours trilogy — and his pseudonym. “It’s a headspace I’ve gotta get into that I just don’t have any more desire for,” Tesfaye told Variety of ditching The Weeknd persona. “It becomes this rat race: more accolades, more success, more shows, more albums, more awards and more No. 1s. It never ends until you end it.”
In November 2024, Ariana Grande made headlines when her name appeared different in the credits of her Oscar-nominated film, Wicked: Ariana Grande-Butera. “You know, that was my name when I went to see the show when I was 10 years old,” she explained in February 2025 of her decision to go by her birth name to The Hollywood Reporter. “It felt like a really lovely way of honoring that.”
Frazer Harrison/Getty Images for Live Nation
According to Gail Saltz, a clinical associate professor of psychiatry at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, a star’s decision to change their name can have deep meaning. “[It can] harken back to the time they had all these dreams and desires to be who they [later] became,” Saltz told Us Weekly, adding that “in this age of a lot of misinformation, there’s a desire for truth for many. Hence, I think some celebrities, particularly already having made it, want to be their true selves and recoup their birth name.”
That seems to ring true with Emma Stone. While attending the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, Stone — who began going by Emma (a nod to her fave Spice Girl!) early on in her career because there was already an “Emily Stone” in SAG-AFTRA — thanked a reporter who referred to her by her legal name, later explaining that she prefers to be called that. “I freaked out a couple of years ago. For some reason, I was like, ‘I can’t do it anymore. Just call me Emily,’” she recalled. “I would like to be Emily. … That would be so nice.”
Michael Keaton feels similarly. In the ’70s, Keaton was forced to choose his now-famous last name because his actual surname, Douglas, was taken by the Michael Douglas we all know and love. (“I was looking through — I can’t remember if it was a phone book… And I went, ‘Oh, that sounds reasonable,’” Keaton recently recalled of choosing his stage name.) However, in September, Keaton announced that he plans to start using a hybrid version of his legal name — Michael Keaton Douglas — on future projects.

Is this name game just a passing trend, or is it here to stay? Laura Burkemper, brand-building expert and CEO of Scaleblazer, believes this is just the beginning. “In an era of social media and greater accessibility, the need for manufactured identities has diminished,” she told Us. “Celebrities are increasingly using their real names to honor their roots, simplify their legacy and reflect modern values of transparency.”
Of course, we’ll always be fans of stars with (sometimes kooky!) stage names — how can you not love Lady Gaga and Vin Diesel? But in a time where the world is becoming more authentic, there is something refreshing about being simply yourself — and we’re totally here for it.
The couple, who tied the knot in September 2021, welcomed their first baby via surrogate three years into their marriage. “Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell,” Collins and McDowell captioned a joint baby announcement via Instagram in January 2025.
That same day, McDowell responded to criticism about their “path to having a baby,” writing via Instagram, “It’s OK to not be an expert on surrogacy.”
He added, “It’s OK to not know why someone might need a surrogate to have a child. It’s OK to not know the motivations of a surrogate regardless of what you assume. And it’s OK to spend less time spewing hateful words into the world, especially in regard to a beautiful baby girl who has brought a lot of love into people’s lives.”
“Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again …” the new parents captioned a photo of Tove in her bassinet.
McDowell embraced “dad mode” while sitting in a chair and playing with Tove days after her birth. “Love you so much ❤️,” Collins replied in the comments section.
“I truly can’t imagine feeling more love. Valentine’s Day (and every day) just got a whole lot sweeter,” Collins gushed via Instagram on her first holiday as a mom.
