“Of course I wish Jason was out there. Being at the mountaintop with your brother is something special that I’ll never forget. Obviously, being so close to him retiring, I wish he would have played another year,” Kelce, 35, told reporters at a press conference on Monday, February 3. “But he’s very content where he is in life right now, and I’m happy as hell for him. He gets to be around his family and his baby girls a little bit more.”
Travis added: “I’ll go out there and try and represent the family as best I can.”
Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles — Jason’s former team — in New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on Sunday, February 9. In 2023, the tight end faced off against his Jason, 37, in Super Bowl LVII, which ended with the Chiefs defeating the Eagles, 38 to 35. Jason retired from the NFL last year.
As of last week, the elder Kelce brother was undecided about which team’s merch to wear at the big game.
“We need to get you a mom jacket [or] a jersey,” Travis told Jason on the Wednesday, January 29, episode of their “New Heights” podcast, referring to their mother Donna Kelce’s split Eagles/Chiefs clothing pieces. “We got to get a cut-and-sew action here where we can get you cheering for both teams like mom’s done, year in [and] year out.”
While Jason appreciated the idea, he clashed with it on principle.
“I can’t wear red,” he stated. “I can’t wear it. I can’t bring myself to it.”
Instead, Jason was considering an alternative to the Chiefs’ signature color.
“I’m gonna wear my ‘New Heights’ Big Yeti shirt,” he said on the podcast, adding that he’d don the yellow rather than the red version of the shirt. Travis, for his part, supported his sibling’s sartorial choice.
Jason made sure to clarify that he’ll be rooting for the Eagles and the Chiefs come Sunday.
“Obviously, you’re my brother. I’ll always root for my brother. That’s the reality of it. All right,” he said, adding, “I would be lying if I said I don’t want the Eagles to win. You know what I mean? I want them to, but I also want Travis Kelce to win. So, that’s a long-winded way of saying I just want to see a good football game, and whoever wins, I’m going to be happy for that guy.”
Brittany took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, February 3, with an update on her life several weeks after giving birth to daughter Golden Raye Mahomes, her third child with husband Patrick Mahomes.
“Ever since I have been home from having golden I have had a green recovery score (except the first night),” Brittany wrote, sharing a pic of her health status on Whoop, a wearable fitness tracker.
She added: “I’m very confused but I also am just happy to not be pregnant and tired all the time. Less sleep better recovery?? Make it make sense.”
Brittany also shared a photo of the view outside her home. The skies were blue, with the sun peeking out through a cloud.
“What a beautiful day it is wow,” she marveled. “Golden girl sees the sun for the first time today.”
Brittany and Patrick, both 29, welcomed Golden on January 12. (The couple also share daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2.) Six days after delivering their youngest, Brittany supported the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback at his divisional game against the Houston Texans.
“@LauraBethArtistry and @RPArtistryKC [thanks for] bringing me back to life and making me feel human again,” she wrote via Instagram Stories on January 19, referring to her hair and makeup team. “Love y’all.”
Brittany took Sterling and Bronze to witness the Chiefs defeat the Texans, and afterward they joined Patrick for his postgame press conference.
“These are moments I’ll have with my family for the rest of my life,” Patrick told reporters at the time. “It’s a growing family, but [I] hope we are done growing for a little while. It’s cool that I’m able to play in these big games and the Kansas City community has brought me in to be a part of their family.”
On Sunday, February 9, Patrick and the Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. Brittany is expected to cheer him on from the sidelines, where she’ll be dressed to impress.
As of last week, her stylist, Margot Zamet, was hard at work curating a perfect look for the former soccer player to wear to the biggest night in sports. Fans can expect Brittany to make a bold style statement, as she did last year when she tucked a red strapless top into matching latex pants featuring “Mahomes” on one leg and “15” on the other.
The Chiefs could potentially make history by winning the Super Bowl three times in a row — something Patrick has discussed with journalists.
“I think it will be something that I look back at the end of my career if we’re able to go out there and get that three-peat, but at the same time, you just treat it as one season and one Super Bowl run, which is always hard to do,” Patrick said in a recent press conference.
Kelce, 35, praised his girlfriend at a press conference on Monday, February 3, six days before he’ll hit the field with the Kansas City Chiefs to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans.
“I better hold up my end of the bargain, alright?” Kelce said at the presser. “If she’s out here being the superstar she is, never taking no for an answer, and always working her tail off, you know, I better match that energy, for sure.”
He also answered pregame questions about where Swift’s family loyalties lie, since her dad, Scott Swift, has long rooted for the Eagles.
“I don’t know her to have the [Eagles] fandom,” Kelce said Monday. “I know her father has the Philadelphia fandom — as an Eagles fan.”
Kelce said that he and Scott, 72, have not discussed which team he’ll be rooting for during Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX, but the athlete teased, “I think he’ll be wearing red.”
“She’s quite the cook,” he gushed. “I would say — man, I’m a breakfast guy. Her Pop-Tarts are unbelievable, man. Homemade Pop-Tarts: unbelievable.”
While Kelce prepares for the biggest night in sports, Taylor — who was at the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 2 — “liked” a post from the Chiefs’ official Instagram account that showed her boyfriend arriving in New Orleans. She’s expected to attend and cheer him on, as she did last year, when she brought a star-studded entourage that included pals Blake Lively, Ice Spice, Lana Del Rey, Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Teller, not to mention her parents and brother Austin Swift.
It’s safe to say that Taylor is Kelce’s most famous cheerleader. She showed up to support his AFC Championship game on January 26 and was caught on camera expressing her pride in Kelce as he helped the Chiefs defeat the Buffalo Bills — and secure a spot in the Super Bowl. Afterward, Taylor joined Kelce on the field and was heard telling him, “I love you so much. I’m so proud of you. I can’t stand it.”
As confetti fell upon them, Taylor held Kelce’s face in her hands and said: “Look what you did! Look what you did!” She then gestured to the cheering crowd and added, “Look at this. Look at this. This is not a real-life situation. … I cannot believe this is really happening. I’m in shock.”
Paige DeSorbo is breaking down the timeline of her breakup with ex Craig Conover — and addressing the allegations that she was unfaithful while they were together.
“Let me say this here and now: I did not move on with some new guy. I’m single. I don’t have a new boyfriend. I did not cheat not on my ex-boyfriend,” the Summer House star, 32, stated on the Monday, February 3, episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast.
DeSorbo explained that in the three years she dated Conover, 35, she “never physically cheated on him” or “emotionally cheated.”
DeSorbo made headlines last month when she was photographed sitting next to a mystery man at an NFL game shortly after announcing her split from Conover. At the time, fans speculated about the man’s identity and his relationship to her following her recent breakup. (DeSorbo announced on the December 30 episode of “Giggly Squad” that she and Conover had called it quits.)
On Monday, DeSorbo addressed fans’ negative reaction to the announcement, saying, “‘Oh my God, Paige is just the worst and, like, she blindsided someone before the holidays.’ So let me just say that when I announced my breakup on ‘Giggly Squad,’ I thought really hard about how I was going to say it, the words I was going to use, because of this exact thing.”
“I didn’t want to do a back-and-forth,” she continued, before seemingly throwing subtle shade at her ex for not having her back. “But since no one’s sticking up for me on the other side … perpetuating even more rumors, I will say that Craig and I broke up Thanksgiving weekend. OK? That’s at the end of November.”
According to DeSorbo, Conover then “did press for [his Bravo show] Southern Charm, did whatever he needed to do, acting as if we were still together, and that was fine: I said that he could do that [if] he was processing [the split] in his own way.”
After Christmas, however, “I saw that my ex-boyfriend was on a trip presenting himself as single,” she said Monday. “And I said, ‘Oh, here we go, We’re ready to announce.’ I then texted [him] whilst he was on this trip and said I’m going to say something on ‘Giggly Squad’ and we can both start moving forward. It’s been a full month now. My text went unanswered.”
Since she went public with the news, DeSorbo noticed that “the narrative just took a turn really quickly: That I had cheated. That I broke up with him, like, a week ago and moved on with some new guy. Let me say this here and now: I did not move on with some new guy. I’m single. I don’t have a new boyfriend. I did not cheat not on my ex-boyfriend. And it was a full month that we were broken up and I didn’t say anything.”
She explained that she did not speak immediately after the breakup because “there are certain things that I think should remain private. And he asked me not to say anything. And so once he goes on a trip and being single, I said, ‘OK, well I can’t deceive the public any longer.’”
On January 30, Conover’s Southern Charm costar Austen Krollfueled infidelity rumors during his appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.
“I don’t think that those are rumors,” Kroll, 37, claimed at the time. “I think that they’ve been substantiated, and I think that Craig knows as such. He didn’t know for a minute, but yeah, I think that he’s fully come to terms with that. That’s not a rumor.”
When Kroll’s remarks were shared via the WWHL Instagram account, DeSorbo was quick to defend herself.
“Ahhh yes a man I haven’t spoken To in 6 months knows exactly what I’m doing,” she wrote in the comments section.
DeSorbo had stated in December that she and Conover were parting on friendly terms.
“I love him, I think he loves me,” she said at the time. “I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
A source told Us Weeklyat the time that Conover was “ready for the next steps and had plans to propose” before he and DeSorbo broke up. The pair were in a long distance relationship with DeSorbo living in New York and Conover living in Charleston.
“He was really pushing for the next steps and wanted to settle down with her,” the insider added. “Paige does not want to move to Charleston, and logistically it was never going to work out long term. Many of their friends are not shocked at all, but everyone is sad for them.”
The second episode of Grant Ellis’ season of The Bachelor had Us asking if we were watching the ABC dating series or a High School Musical remake. (Grant is basically real-life Troy Bolton!)
After going from 25 to 18 women during the premiere, the Monday, February 3, episode featured basketball and musical-themed dates.
For the first group date, the women joined Grant and several children to play basketball. While it’s safe to say that the ladies have varying levels of basketball skills, the competition for Grant’s attention is definitely on. During the slam dunk competition, Zoe, the 27-year-old tech engineer / model, is the first one to steal the lead and when the twosome return to the gym, things are tense. Lucky for Zoe, Jesse Palmer subsequently arrived and announced a five-on-five basketball game.
You can always count on The Bachelor for an absurd sports date, but it was truly something special to see a score of 18-2 as the two teams, “Grant Prize” and “The Grant Slam,” played for Grant’s affections. Things “got physical” on the court between Zoe and Alli Jo, the 31-year-old boxing trainer from New Jersey, with several women breaking nails and getting increasingly angry at Zoe. Chloie, the 28-year-old model, couldn’t let Zoe have all the fun, however, and made a move to kiss Grant after winning the MVP award.
During the evening portion of the group date, Zoe was back in the hot seat, defending her decision to steal Grant because “you’ve gotta do what you gotta do.” When she was informed that the women felt disrespected by her actions, she doubled down, declaring, “The card said, ‘Shoot your shot,’ so I shot my shot.” In a confessional, Zoe acknowledged that she expected the women to be a little upset, but thought it would be because they didn’t think to steal him first. If you ask Us, Zoe forgot to do her homework and watch even one episode of The Bachelor before making her big move on day 1.
Alli Jo’s “Jersey came out” when Zoe went for her third steal of the evening, and we’d be lying if we weren’t thinking that she could grow up to be a great addition to The Real Housewives of New Jersey after getting a few more episodes of reality TV under her belt.
While Grant and Juliana, the 28-year-old client service associate, shared a flirty moment and kiss, It was Natalie, the 26-year-old PhD student, who came out the real winner. She secured the group date rose after impressing Grant with how she bonded with the kids on the date.
For the first one-on-one date of the season, first impression rose winner Alexe met Grant at a closed mall. After living out their best Saved by the Bell or The O.C. dreams (we can’t be the only one who immediately thought of those classic episodes of TV), Grant sat down at the piano and freestyled an original song for Alexe. (As if the closed mall wasn’t already making Us feel like we were watching a teen drama.)
The pair both opened up about their childhoods, bonding over past patterns that they hope to break. Alexe got the rose and there’s definitely a connection between them. If we could look into our crystal ball, it’s giving surprise exit right before hometowns. (No spoilers, just educated guesses!)
For the second group date, Grant’s vocals were briefly traded for the musician Mario who serenaded the group with his song “Let Me Love You.” He then informed them that they had to write a song for Grant — and perform in front of a crowd — with the help of Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin.
Grant went first, showing off his musical skills again with an original rap. The women, well, let’s give them props for getting through that and pray that our own karaoke tapes never make it to primetime. (At the risk of going too far, they made Scheana Shay sound like she should’ve taken the Grammy stage!)
Carolina, the 29-year-old public relations producer, left an impression by performing part of her song in Spanish and wasted no time making out with Grant in front of everyone after he gave her props and she won a dance with him. She’s lucky Alli Jo was on group date one because if we thought Zoe was the villain …
During the night portion, Grant can feel the tension and it was unclear how he was going to pass his first real test as the Bachelor. During his one-on-one time with the women, however, he appeared to smooth over concerns, telling Rose that he was thinking of her during the group date and fitting in one more makeout with Carolina. He also had a moment with Litia, who confronted him over comments he made in the premiere about how she probably doesn’t hear “no” a lot because of her beauty. After Grant immediately apologized and explained, she got emotional. Grant later made a remark that Litia made him feel like this journey could work, which officially makes Litia one to watch! (She also got the group date rose.)
When it was time for the cocktail party, Grant made a speech about emotional availability, leading Bailey, the 27-year-old social media manager, to cry uncontrollably. (Didn’t see this coming from the girl who took selfies as her limo entrance — it’s only night 2!)
All the main players secure roses at the rose ceremony, with Ella, Rebekah and Allyshia saying goodbye to Grant.
Melissa Roxburgh isn’t easily “spooked,” but her new NBC series The Hunting Party had one scene that she wasn’t expecting to affect her.
During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Roxburgh, 32, referenced a scene where she had “duct tape over” her mouth, adding, “It wasn’t necessarily scary other than I couldn’t breathe. But we were rolling and so I had a freak out and you can’t yell cut and you can’t yell for help.”
Roxburgh had a “moment of panic” while filming the scene. “You can’t really do anything but I couldn’t breathe,” she recalled. “But as far as the killers [on the show] go, I think the only time I was ever like, ‘I don’t want to see that’ is episode nine. It is dark and it’s gross.”
The Hunting Party, which premiered earlier this month, is a crime procedural about investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers in the country. The twist? The criminals escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.
NBC’s newest series marks Roxburgh’s return to the network after she previously starred on Manifest.
“I was open to anything after Manifest since that was so specific. It was very sci-fi and there were so many extraordinary events happening in that show that I was like, ‘Anything else will be different,'” she noted. “So when this came up, I thought it was cool. I do love profiling and I love psychology. So this character obviously does that full-time for a job and she does it for very interesting and unique killers.”
Roxburgh is playing Rebecca “Bex” Henderson, an ex-FBI agent recruited to the task force due to her reputation as a profiler who caught the world’s most dangerous serial killers. The opportunity intrigued the actress, who was already a fan of true crime before signing onto The Hunting Party.
“Who isn’t right? I grew up watching Criminal Minds,” she told Us. “And so you want to know why people are motivated to do what they do. You want to know how they got there and why they’re doing what they’re doing. Who doesn’t love a serial killer story?”
The Hunting Party introduces a lot of twists and turns as the season progresses. As the star and fan of the show, Roxburgh was often conflicted about how much she wanted to know about where the show was going.
“I kind of go back and forth. There are some days where I’m so overwhelmed by what’s currently happening in the scripts and making sure that I have my lines down or trying to understand it,” she explained. “Then there are some easier days where I’m like, ‘I’m going to go be nosy to the showrunner now because I want to find out what happens.’ As the series went on with the mystery, I did start to get a little more curious.”
The Hunting Party airs on NBC Mondays at 10 p.m. ET and new episodes are available to stream on Peacock the next day.
Below Deck Down Under introduced a franchise first with a weevil and maggot infestation in the kitchen.
During the season 3 premiere on Monday, February 3, Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph and sous chef Anthony Birdwere in for a surprise while cleaning the Katina for their first charter.
“We have got proper weevils and maggots,” Tzarina told Anthony after inspecting the pantry. “We need to get this bit out as soon as possible. Should we have a look at the dry stuff for a minute? [More] weevils. It’s always f—ing something.”
Anthony said there was “no excuse” for a boat to have bugs, adding, “There’s f—ing loads of them.” In a confessional, Tzarina discussed how “gross” it was before she flagged the issue to Captain Jason Chambers.
“The chef before obviously wasn’t cleaning properly and we have an infestation of weevils and maggots,” she explained while showing Jason, 52, the issue. “All these tubs have them.”
After inspecting the situation, Jason told Tzarina to trash “any grains” on board. “Everything has to come off,” he noted. “The guests are coming in 12 hours and now we have a whole full clean to do. Not a good start.”
Jason spoke exclusively with Us Weekly about the incident, saying, “We have inspections every month. There’s no reason why that should be there, especially when we’ve had a good handover from the previous crew,” he said before the premiere. “We had to lean out the galley and get it ready for the provisions that are coming in the next day. We had to get ready for the guests two days later to find that and to be 12 hours behind in preparation was just not the start we wanted.”
While Jason has seen some gross things on board, he called the maggots the worst of it. “Most things don’t go past that,” he quipped. “And having my hands in the toilet in season 1.”
Later in the episode, Tzarina and Anthony worked together to throw away most of the food — except an opened bottle of vodka that she put back in the fridge.
“I have to chuck everything away and I have to make sure there are no eggs laid everywhere. I need to bleach everything,” she shared in a confessional. “The yacht standard means that charter guests won’t get a little bug in their pasta salad.”
Season 3 of the hit Bravo series reunited Jason, Tzarina and fellow alum and deckhand Harry Van Vliet. They were joined by newbies bosun Wihan Du Toit, chief stew Lara Rigby, deckhands Johnny Arvanitis and Adair Werley and stews Brianna Duffield and Marina Marcondes de Barros.
Despite getting off to a rocky start, the crew was able to pull it together by the time the guests arrived. New issues surfaced once Tzarina and Lara worked their first breakfast service — to lackluster results.
Tzarina was annoyed with Lara after the chief stew allowed the guests to order anything they wanted. This overwhelmed Tzarina, who was forced to cook multiple different dishes at a moment’s notice.
“This is what I was worried about with Lara. You come to the head chef and ask how you would like breakfast to be done,” Tzarina told the cameras. “You don’t just go up and do your own thing. I need it to be my way to get the flow going.”
“You need to utilize me a bit more, I think. I am just finding it a little bit chaotic and I normally work a little bit more organized,” he told Tzarina at the end of the episode. “It just starts to become overwhelming and there is s— everywhere. We can definitely make plans and structures to make it easier. But we need to work as a team.”
Footage showed Lara crying in her cabin over Tzarina’s criticism. Meanwhile, the chef was annoyed by Anthony’s feedback.
“Are you f—ing joking? Lara has caused me 10 times the amount of work and now I have a new sous chef being a total twat,” Tzarina added. “I need him to support me as a sous chef, which is a position second to the chef.”
Below Deck Down Under airs on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
9-1-1: Lone Star went out with a bang, literally, after an asteroid hit Austin during the series finale on Monday, February 3. In typical fashion, the 126 was first on scene — leaving many of their lives in jeopardy.
Warning: Spoilers below from season 5, episode 12 of 9-1-1: Lone Star.
The series finale began one hour before the asteroid was set to touch down in Austin as a professor at Travis State University revealed that the college had its own nuclear reactor.
When the scientist learned about the impending natural disaster, he was on the other side of campus and ended up running all the way back to the science lab to try and hit the “scram button” and shut off the nuclear reactor. Unfortunately, he slipped and hit his head with less than two minutes until the asteroid touched down.
Meanwhile, the firefighters and paramedics at the 126 called their loved ones and prepared for impact at the firehouse. Although the house was spared from the asteroid — it suffered a massive shock wave and broken glass — the university wasn’t as lucky.
Once the 9-1-1 call center was back in action, Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) and his team headed to the university and discovered that the asteroid hit the nuclear reactor building and was overheating.
Owen then led his team into the science building to try and locate the scram button and turn off the reactor before total meltdown. When a tank ruptured, harming every member of the 126, a hurt Owen continued to look for the scram button.
With less than a second to spare, Owen shut off the nuclear reactor and saved Austin from extinction. However, he was severely hurt — as were his firefighters. His fate was unknown when the episode flashed forward five months.
Owen led the charge toward the control room at the university where the cooling tank was about to blow. As soon as they arrived, a tank ruptured and Owen was hit by something that caused his side to bleed. Owen still managed to make it to the button with one second left but fell to the ground after saving the day. When a paramedic arrived on scene to check his vitals, it didn’t look good.
Five months later, the cameras showed everyone else’s lives moving forward, hinting that Owen might’ve died in the line of duty. After a new captain was named for the 126, viewers learned that Owen is alive and well and living in New York City. He accepted the job as the chief of the department and is back to serving the city he started in.
Tommy Vega
During season 5, episode 11, Tommy (Gina Torres) learned that her cancer was getting worse and was warned she had very little time to live. She started to see her late husband, Charles (Derek Webster), as if he was there to lead her to heaven. While she appeared to go to sleep at the end of that episode, she woke up to the asteroid boom during Monday’s episode.
Tommy decided to help her team and the people of Austin despite feeling so ill. She managed to perform a cranioscopy in the field to help Dr. Chalmers wake up long enough to tell Owen where to find the scram button. Tommy then had an episode and became unable to help further.
When the cameras picked back up, Tommy discovered that her tumors were gone and the experimental treatment worked. She is cancer-free and was able to report back to work that day.
T.K. Strand
Ahead of the finale, T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein) and his husband, Carlos (Rafael L. Silva), learned that because of their dangerous professions they were not approved to become the guardians of T.K.’s little brother, Jonah. However, before the asteroid hit, T.K. decided on a new plan that he promised to tell Carlos about once they made it out alive.
T.K. did survive, as did Carlos, and the couple officially adopted Jonah as their son. (T.K.’s stepfather and Jonah’s real father is in jail for tax fraud.) T.K. is now a full-time dad, having retired from the 126. He also hinted that his dad, Owen, was no longer at the firehouse. When T.K. goes back to the firehouse — for the new captain’s swearing in — he FaceTimed Owen, revealing they are still in touch.
Judd (Jim Parrack) took charge during the nuclear scare after he and the rest of the 126 got hurt. While Owen went to turn off the reactor, Judd tried to keep his pals alive. “Do it for the people that you love. I love each and every one of y’all. I love you more than I love my own brothers. Hang on,” he said, inspiring them all to fight.
Five months later, Judd went to check in on Tommy and was the first to congratulate her on being in remission. He then went to the firehouse and was named the new captain of the 126 — which is fitting since he is the only one from the original squad who is alive (his original crew died during the premiere episode leading to Owen’s arrival in Texas). Judd’s daughter, Charlie, presented him with his new badge, and everyone but Owen was there to celebrate.
Marjan Marwani
Marjan (Natacha Karam) got married to Joe (John Clarence Stewart) during the final season and everyone was in attendance. After getting injured during the tank blast, Marjan admitted she felt “so cold.” She survived the blast, and her new husband was also safe from the asteroid.
During the final moments of the episode, Marjan revealed she’s pregnant with their first baby, and she doesn’t plan to stop being a firefighter once she’s a mom.
Mateo Chavez
Mateo (Julian Works) appeared to be hurt the most in the blast, telling his firefighter family, “I don’t know how much longer” I can hold on. Once Owen stopped the nuclear reactor from exploding, Mateo was the first person to tell the paramedics where to find him.
After overcoming his injuries, Mateo had to face a judge about his possible deportation. (Earlier in the season, Mateo punched an undercover police officer and was arrested.) Mateo defended himself at the hearing and pointed out his service to the city of Austin and America. Even though he told the judge to “kiss my ass” if she didn’t think his work spoke for itself, she approved his request to become a citizen and he was able to stay at the 126.
Paul (Brian Michael Smith) became a mentor to a young kid named Max (Miles McKenna) during the second-to-last episode of the series. When Max arrived at the firehouse just before the asteroid strike, Paul became a big brother figure to him. Max even stayed behind to help with triage when the 126 headed to the university to deal with the nuclear reactor.
Like his fellow firefighters, Paul was wounded at the university, but he survived.
Carlos Reyes
Carlos was stationed at the 9-1-1 call center before the asteroid hit. He helped cover Judd’s son, Wyatt (Jackson Pace), who was in a wheelchair and couldn’t duck for cover. No one at the call center got hurt during the blast, but their communications got knocked out. Carlos proceeded to assist the 9-1-1 operators as they navigated all the disasters.
After the near-apocalypse, Carlos revealed he’s still working as a Texas Ranger. He is still married to T.K., and together they are raising Jonah.
Nancy Gillian
Nancy (Brianna Baker) remained the paramedic captain until Tommy showed up at the firehouse. She helped carry Tommy out of the university following her heroic efforts.
In the wake of the natural disaster, Nancy turned her sights on helping her boyfriend, Mateo, stay in the country. At the end of the series, they are still together — but not engaged, as she doesn’t believe in marriage.
“It’s all Kanye, there’s no outside influence. [And] Bianca likes the attention,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Good or bad, they love it. They love the buzz.”
While walking the Grammys red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 2, Censori, 30, dramatically removed her black fur coat to reveal a completely sheer dress that left her naked. West, for his part, posed next to her in black T-shirt and black pants.
According to the insider, West “designed” the moment and was the brains behind the “concept” of the look.
“He is a master of publicity stunts. He knows how to stay in the game,” the source says while explaining that West “knows what to do” when it comes to his vision. “He’s a master. He directs the ship and makes sure everyone knows that.”
After the pair’s shocking red carpet moment, West and Censori left the awards show before the ceremony began. Rumors swirled that West and Censori were kicked out of the event, but Us later confirmed that the duo left on their own accord.
Earlier on Monday, West claimed journalist Don Lemon was behind the rumors, whom he briefly spoke to before the show. (The former CNN anchor, 58, denied the accusations.)
“He was credentialed and invited to the red carpet. He went to make an appearance and get attention because that is what he does and he left to go to his after-party.” the source tells Us of why West and Censori made an early exit. “He was not kicked out. He went to make a statement and to get everyone buzzing and talking. And then go to his after party. He had no intention of staying at the Grammys.”
West was nominated at the 2025 awards show in the Best Rap Song category for his song “Carnival.” He ultimately lost to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”
After departing Sunday’s event, West and Censori attended an after-party where the model donned a second barely there look that featured a black mesh bodysuit. While at the soirée, the couple packed on the PDA.
West and Censori began dating in January 2023, two months after he and Kim Kardashian — who share kids North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5 — finalized their divorce after six years of marriage. That same month, West and Censori went public with their romance, and Us later confirmed the duo previously held “a small marriage ceremony.”
Teddi Mellencamp is getting real about her marriage to her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave.
It might seem counter-intuitive, but in an interview with “The Skinny Confidential” podcast released Monday, February 3, Mellencamp said that the “worst time” in her marriage was right before she booked The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She also claimed the reality series even made her marriage stronger in a lot of ways.
“Edwin would say this himself,” she said. “The show held him accountable, because all of the sudden, people knew who he was.”
“So there were parts of it that really helped,” Mellencamp continued.
The reality star also revealed that there was one scene from Housewives that never aired — a stroke of luck for her ex, as it would have “eaten Edwin alive.”
“They had us have that conversation,” she explained, “Like should we have another baby? And at that moment, I’m trying to self-produce him through my head, like kicking him under the table. And he’s like, ‘Gosh, but then are you gonna get all big and depressed again?’” While Mellencamp admitted she understood where Arroyave was coming from, she knew their conversation wouldn’t translate well to an audience.
Mellencamp also said the show magnified the parts of herself she wanted to change, especially in terms of how she showed up for her estranged husband. She also said that at times in her marriage she was on “auto-pilot.”
However, Mellencamp added,“There would be some really amazing times and I’d be like, all right, this is actually how it’s supposed to be. And I mean still to this day, last night I was crying and I’m like, maybe I just figured out. Maybe I figured it out just because I don’t want our kids to grow up in a home where their parents aren’t together.”
“It was a long time coming and they have been up and down for the last seven-plus years,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “This isn’t the first time Teddi has wanted a divorce, and it has been an ongoing conversation between them for years.”
The couple was in therapy for several years, the insider added, saying,“They have had some really high highs and low lows over the course of their marriage.”
Mellencamp and Arroyave married in 2011. They share three children together: Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4. Aarroyave is also a father to his oldest daughter, Isabella, from a previous relationship.
“Blake is very stressed, upset, and just wants all of this to be done,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of how Lively, 37, is coping amid the ongoing legal disputes with her It Ends With Us costar.
Reynolds, meanwhile, is “more confident that the truth will prevail in court,” the insider says, noting that the Deadpool actor, 48, “has been consoling” his wife throughout the leadup to the trials.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, have also tried to take time away from their legal issues by recently bringing their children on a “family beach vacation,” the source adds. (Reynolds and Lively share three daughters, James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, and son Olin, 2.)
Lively and Baldoni, 41, first raised eyebrows in August 2024 when rumors of a rift between the pair surfaced as they promoted their movie, It Ends With Us, separately.
After staying quiet about their dynamic for months, Lively filed a complaint against Baldoni and his production company Wayfarer Studios in December 2024 for alleged sexual harassment during their time on set. Details of the alleged misconduct were initially outlined in a New York Times article and later obtained by Us.
In the court documents, Lively accused Baldoni of launching a “social manipulation” campaign against her to try and “destroy” her reputation. She claimed that she wasn’t the only It Ends With Us star to complain about Baldoni, who played Ryle in the film and served as director.
At the time, Baldoni denied all the allegations against him. Days later, he launched a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times — along with nine other plaintiffs — for its coverage of Lively’s accusations. At the time, the outlet told Us that it was planning to “vigorously defend against the lawsuit.”
Us confirmed in December 2024 that Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni in a New York federal court that same day. This filing mirrored her earlier allegations, which were submitted to the California Civil Rights Department.
Lively — who played the lead Lily Bloom in It Ends With Us and was an executive producer on the project — also named publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel in the lawsuit, along with with Wayfarer Studios for their part in the alleged social media attack on her character.
In her lawsuit, Lively claimed that she suffered alleged sexual harassment and retaliation at the hands of Baldoni, alleging there was a breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress and an invasion of privacy and lost wages. Baldoni has continued to deny the claims.
In January, Baldoni filed his own lawsuit against Lively, her publicist Leslie Sloane, and her husband, Reynolds. He is seeking $400 million in damages after accusing the trio of civil extortion, defamation, false light invasion of privacy and other claims.
Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman told Us in a statement at the time that his client’s lawsuit “is a legal action based on an overwhelming amount of untampered evidence detailing Blake Lively and her team’s duplicitous attempt to destroy Justin Baldoni, his team and their respective companies by disseminating grossly edited, unsubstantiated, new and doctored information to the media.”
Lively’s legal team, however, told Us response that Baldoni’s filing was an attempt to twist the narrative. “The strategy of attacking the woman is desperate, it does not refute the evidence in Ms. Lively’s complaint, and it will fail,” her attorneys said at the time.
In order to prove his innocence, Baldoni’s camp later released a video of the two actors slow dancing during an intimate scene from set. In the clip, the pair could be heard speaking out of character, which Baldoni’s team wanted to show in hopes it would strengthen their case.
Lively and Reynolds filed a gag order request for Baldoni’s attorney in January ahead of his team launching a website that allegedly supports Baldoni’s allegations against the actress.
A pre-trial hearing on the subject took place on Monday, February 3, which both Lively and Baldoni’s lawyers attended. Federal judge Lewis J. Liman told Lively’s team that they aren’t going to be the one “who chooses who takes Ms. Lively’s deposition” after she and Reynolds allegedly objected to being deposed by Baldoni’s attorney.
Baldoni’s team was also reprimanded for their website, which tells readers they can read a “timeline of relevant events.” The judge indicated that Baldoni’s timeline was likely to be stricken from the record, saying, “You can’t just attach a factual narrative” to a complaint.
Following the hearing, Baldoni’s team told Us in a statement, “Our clients are devastated and want to move the case along as quickly as possible. We just couldn’t be more pleased with how the case was handled today, how it was managed. We’re going to move as quickly as we possibly can and prove our innocence, in a world where sometimes people judge you before they give you a chance. And we’re going to change that.”
Lively and Baldoni’s larger trial is set to begin on March 9, 2026, but the judge said on Monday that it could be moved up if the complaints continue to be “litigated in the press,” per Deadline.
“Can’t wait to welcome new love into our lives,” JJ and Kealia captioned the joint post.
JJ, meanwhile, isn’t the only Watt brother expecting a child in 2025. Both of his brothers, T.J. Watt and Derek Watt, are also expecting children this year.
In October 2024, Derek and his wife, Gabriella Watt, revealed they are expecting their third child, their first girl.
“Cannot Wait!!!! She is going to have an entire family wrapped around her finger,” Uncle JJ commented under the announcement.
T.J. and his wife, Dani Watt, are expecting their first child, they revealed in November 2024.
In a 2024 exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Watt said he wished he would have known more about how time consuming parenting was before he became a parent himself.
“It’s a good and a bad thing, but the amount of time and energy required,” JJ admitted.
“You can’t just get up and go do whatever you want. You have a human being to take care of. But I think on the same side is the amount of energy that they give you and the amount of life that they give you. It is the coolest thing ever to see that youthfulness and to be reinvigorated by that energy.”
Now, things are about to get a whole lot busier with two.

Louisa Jacobson, the youngest daughter of Meryl Streep and Don Gummer, was “hiding for so long, part of myself I always knew was there,” she told Page Six while attending the Human Rights Campaign’s Greater New York Dinner on Saturday, February 1.
Jacobson added that she was in “straight relationships back-to-back” but after she took time to be single, she found the “part that [she] was hiding was really making itself known.”
The actress, who stars in HBO’s The Gilded Age, came out during Pride month in June 2024. Jacobson shared her first official social media photos with her partner, Anna Blundell, on June 22.
Jacobson also told Page Six how important it was for her to share her story. “I think the more we see people like us, who we can relate to, who are following onto this path and stepping into their truth unapologetically, will inspire others that they can do the same, that their truths are OK and not to be ashamed of,” she explained.
Like Streep did before her, Jacobson graduated from the Yale School of Drama and began performing onstage before moving in front of the camera on the small screen. She spoke exclusively with Us ahead of the third season of The Gilded Age in February 2024.
“I think season 3 is just going to be a continuation of the same delicious drama,” Jacobson said at the time. “But maybe with a little more power and edge.”
In February 2022, Jacobson opened up to Vanity Fair about the challenges that have come with working on the Julian Fellowes-headed series, especially since this was her first foray into TV.
“[I] chose to bury my desire to act,” she told the outlet, despite having grown up attending theatre camps. “I needed to prove to myself, my family, and my peers that somehow I was different.”
She also told the magazine that she understood her character, Marian, because of what they have in common. “[Marian] doesn’t want her life handed to her. She wants to pave her own path,” Jacobson said. “She’s a person who doesn’t let the shiny exterior fool her.”
Jacobson’s mother most recently made the news after her nephew, Abe Streep, revealed she cut a “car-size” hole into the fence she shares with her neighbors to escape the devastating fires in Los Angeles. “Evacuation mandates were sent across the city,” Abe wrote in an article published in New York Magazine on Tuesday, January 28.
“My aunt Meryl Streep received an order to evacuate on January 8, but when she tried to leave, she discovered that a large tree had fallen over in her driveway, blocking her only exit,” he added. “Determined to make it out, she borrowed wire cutters from a neighbor, cut a car-size hole in the fence she shared with the neighbors on the other side, and drove through their yard to escape.”

Lauren Shortt is ready for a new chapter in her real estate career.
Us Weekly can exclusively confirm the Selling the OC star is leaving The Oppenheim Group and will not be appearing on season 4 of the Netflix series. Instead, she’s te
“Introducing Cindi + Lauren! Top-producing agents @cindi.b.karamzadeh and @thelaurenshortt have officially joined forces, bringing a fresh, multi-faceted approach to the luxury real estate market,” Lauren wrote in a joint Instagram post with follow real estate agent and designer Cindi Karamzadeh on Monday, February 3. “Now, as part of @compass, they are aligned with a brokerage that reflects their commitment to innovation, sophistication, and unparalleled service.”
The news comes after Lauren teased a big announcement about her professional life would be revealed in February.
“Big moves coming soon Any guesses?” she wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 31, while posing with Cindi. “#comingsoon #announcement #ocrealestate #powerduo.”
The announcement also comes just after Netflix confirmed Selling the OC was officially renewed for season 4. The streaming service revealed production on the upcoming season is currently underway, with a release date to be announced at a later time.
“A lot has changed in the real lives of those agents since season 3, so it’s exciting to get back down there,” series creator Adam DiVello told Tudum on January 24. “They are just crushing it down there.”
Although no casting announcements have been made, DiVello teased that “a lot of new faces” will be looking to prove themselves in the cutthroat world of Orange County real estate for season 4.
As an original cast member of Selling the OC, Lauren brought years of experience navigating high-end real estate to the show.
During her three seasons, Lauren tried her best to focus on selling homes instead of the drama surrounding her coworkers.
“A lot of people will slide into my DMs and say, ‘What are you even doing on the show? You’ve never shown a house on TV,’” Lauren told Us Weekly in June 2024. “Just because it doesn’t make it on the show, trust me. I’ve been in real estate for over eight years. I know what I’m doing. I sell homes, but it’s not always as it seems on TV and also we film for about three to four months. During that time, our life is the show.”
The real estate expert added that every sale doesn’t make the show because it may not be “sexy” or “crazy enough.”
“This is how I pay my bills,” she said. “It’s easily verifiable online. You can see what we do online and it’s not hard to see who actually does business and who doesn’t.”
Don Lemon is firing back at Kanye West’s claim that he started the rumor that the rapper was kicked out of the 2025 Grammy Awards.
“First of all Kanye, Ye, whatever your name is. I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys,” the former CNN anchor, 58, said in a Monday, February 3, Instagram video. “I actually corrected it. I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere.”
Lemon subsequently slammed West, 47, for his accusation, which was made in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“So first of all, get your s— straight. And you of all people calling me a c—?” Lemon said while laughing as a screenshot of West’s post appeared. “That Make America Great Again hat must be too tight on your head.”
In West’s deleted post, he shared a photo of Lemon on a red carpet and claimed the journalist was the person behind the rumor that West and his wife, Bianca Censori, were kicked out of the Grammys.
“This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out of the grammies [sic],” West captioned the snap. “3 decades of innovating music and they always K—S like this.”
Lemon attended the Grammys at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 3. While at the event, Lemon interviewed several stars on the red carpet, including Raye, Gracie Abrams and more. At one point, Lemon briefly spoke to West and uploaded the clip to his social media.
“Kanye, when is Bully going to come out?” Lemon asked West. The rapper replied that he changed his name to Ye and said his new album will be dropping “this year.”
After their interaction, West and Censori, 30, walked the red carpet. While posing for photos, the model removed her fur coat to reveal her sheer dress that left little to the imagination.
Following the now-viral moment, rumors swirled that West and Censori were asked to leave. Lemon, who was inside the venue at that point, shared via Instagram on Sunday that he had heard West “wanted to do the red carpet” but “wasn’t invited” to the ceremony.
After uploading that initial video, Lemon posted a follow-up video confirming that West was not kicked out of the awards show.
“We saw a spokesperson for Kanye and that spokesperson said that Kanye was indeed invited, that’s a fact and that he was not kicked out. Again, that is what they are saying on Kanye’s side,” Lemon said in a clip uploaded on Sunday evening. “Alright? So this is Don Lemon reporting the tea from the Grammys. Back to you in the studio.”
During the show on Sunday, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that West and Censori departed “on their own accord” after posing for photos. “They just got in their car and left,” the insider added.
“Charles Mesure opted to exit the role of Brennan,” a statement to Us Weekly on Monday, February 3, via General Hospital read. “We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.” (Soap Opera Digest was the first to report the news.)
Mesure, 54 — who made his debut on General Hospital as Jack Brennan in December 2023 — had his last air date on Thursday, January 30. Beginning on Tuesday, February 4, the role of Brennan will be played by soap vet Chris McKenna.
“General Hospital looks forward to continuing Brennan’s exciting storyline with Chris McKenna in the role,” the statement continued. (McKenna, 47, has had several roles through the years including on Beverly Hills, 90210, That ‘70s Show, Criminal Minds, Chicago Fire, NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Los Angeles.)
Months after Mesure was introduced as Jack Brennan on General Hospital, he shared in an interview with Soap Opera Digest that he “had never really thought about [doing a] soap opera or General Hospital” until the Writer’s Guild of America strike and the SAG-AFTRA strike.
“I’ll be honest about it, I thought, ‘I’m an old dog. I’m not sure if I can learn any new tricks! I’m not sure if I can adapt to the huge amount of dialogue that these fantastic actors on shows like General Hospital can learn,” Mesure told the outlet in July 2024. “I’m not sure if I can suddenly be a leading man again at the age of 53!”
He explained, “For 28 years, I came from a single camera film background where you can only do eight, nine, 10 pages a day, [while at GH] it’s no secret that they do 10 times that every day!”
After meeting with casting director Mark Teschner and reading opposite Laura Wright (who plays Carly), his mind was changed. “I thought, ‘Oh, I think I really want to work with her!’” he recalled.
While reflecting on his time with General Hospital, Mesure gushed that he had been having “an absolute ball.” He added, “I’m really surprised at how much fun this has been because I was so apprehensive about the workload, I was apprehensive about the pressure and the schedule and so forth, but I’ve had an absolute ball every single day I’ve been there.”
Mindy Kaling, who’s known to bring the laughs on screen, is adding another series to her resume.
The 10-episode Netflix comedy series, titled Running Point, will be executive produced by Kaling and Kate Hudson, who will also star in the show. (Kaling has previously served as an executive producer on several other series, namely The Sex Lives of College Girls and Never Have I Ever.)
The show will follow Isla (Hudson) who becomes president of the Los Angeles Waves professional basketball team after her brother resigns from the position. Isla must prove to her family, the board and the sports community that she’s the right fit to lead the franchise.
The series is inspired by the Los Angeles Lakers’ front office, per Deadline.
Keep scrolling for everything to know about Kaling’s Running Point:
The official summary for the series was released by Netflix in February 2024.
“Isla, the only sister in a family of brothers, is ambitious and often overlooked. But when her brother is forced to resign from his position as president of the Los Angeles Waves, she’s appointed in his place. Now that she’s stepping up into the family business, she’s going to have to prove to her skeptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community that she was the right choice for the job. Over the course of the series, she sets out to do just that — especially in the unpredictable, male-dominated world of sports,” it reads.
Who’s Starring in Mindy Kaling’s ‘Running Point’?
The series will feature a star-studded cast, including Hudson. Drew Tarver will portray Sandy Gordon, “the chief financial officer of the Waves who thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room — and is often right,” per Netflix.
Scott MacArthur will also star as Ness Gordon, the “emotionally sensitive general manager” who “has an infectious enthusiasm for ideas both good and bad.” The character was a former player who “burned out after one season in the pros” and now has a desire for “greatness” in the front office.
Brenda Song was cast as Ali Lee, the Waves’ chief of staff, who makes “even the biggest guy on the team” afraid of her. Fabrizio Guido, Toby Sandeman, Chet Hanks, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Roberto Sanchez have been cast as Waves players, employees and those in their orbit. Max Greenfield has also been added to the cast.
Who’s Involved With Mindy Kaling’s ‘Running Point’?
Aside from Kaling, Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen are writers and executive producers. Lakers president and co-owner Jeanie Buss and the team’s manager of special projects Linda Rambis are executive producers alongside Hudson and Howard Klein. Jordan Rambis is a producer.
When Will Mindy Kaling’s ‘Running Point’ Be Released?
The series premieres on Netflix Thursday, February 27.
Has There Been a 1st Look at Mindy Kaling’s ‘Running Point’?
During the Netflix Upfront presentation in May, the streaming platform released several photos of Hudson in the series. In one pic shared via Instagram, Hudson is seen smiling and laughing as she sits behind a desk with gold basketball trophies in the background.
Casey Deidrick, who is best known for his role as Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives, was taken into police custody on Sunday, February 2.
Deidrick, 37, was arrested in Davidson County, Tennessee charged with domestic assault and interference with an emergency call, TMZ reported. The Davidson County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to Us Weekly that Deidrick had been arrested on Sunday and released on a $2,500 bond on the morning of Monday, February 3.
TMZ reported that Deidrick had allegedly told authorities he got into a fight with his girlfriend when he thought she was recording him with her phone and lashed out, allegedly grabbing the phone from her. His girlfriend confirmed to police that the couple had fought, but denied that she had been recording him.
Deidrick also allegedly told authorities his girlfriend put her hands around his neck, per TMZ, but authorities claimed to have found no evidence of that.
It was also reported that Deidrick’s girlfriend had informed police she had allegedly cowered in a corner while they fought when Deidrick ripped the phone out of her hands. Deidrick’s girlfriend claimed to have called 911 after the actor gave her her phone back.
A daily booking list labeled for Thursday, January 30 to Sunday, February 2, from where Diedrick was held at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office does not include his name.
Deidrick first appeared on Days of Our Lives in June 2009. He continued to play DiMera — the youngest son of the series’ villain, Stefano DiMera — until his departure in 2013. Billy Flynn took over the part following Deidrick’s departure.
The cast of Days of Our Lives recently mourned the death of Francisco San Martin, who died on January 21 at age 39. Martin originated the role of Dario Hernandez on the long-running soap opera.
San Martin’s co-star Camila Banus, who played his sister Gabi Hernandez, posted an emotional tribute to her friend via Instagram the same day.
“Pepe, what can I say but I love you and rest in peace, my friend,” she wrote at the time.“My only witness that pau sang happy birthday to me in the middle of a concert in Hollywood, you couldn’t believe it. Love you mucho mucho mucho; I wish I had told you more.”
The show celebrated its 60th anniversary beginning November 8, 2024. Former stars Peter Reckell (Bo Brady) and Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) returned to the show in 2025 to mark the occasion. “I love playing Sami and I am always happy for the chance to come back,” Sweeney told TV Insider. “We always have to figure out scheduling and such, but, if at all possible, I’m so glad to make it happen.”
