Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy has opened up about her grief in her first television interview since his death.
Cassidy, 25, appeared on the U.K. morning show, Lorraine, Wednesday, March 5, and said, “I find myself talking about him so much in the present tense. I don’t even feel the need to correct myself.”
“That’s part of my healing journey. I’m still working on accepting the fact that he’s not here anymore. It’s hard for me to refer to him in the past tense. It almost stings that little bit more because it’s more official. It’s very hard to accept,” the model and influencer added.
Payne died in October 2024 after falling from a third-floor balcony at the CasSur hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31. Cassidy was in Argentina with Payne but returned to her native U.S. just days before his death.
Since the One Direction star’s death, Cassidy said she has experienced a mix of emotions.
“I am trying to do my best,” she said. “I have my better days, I have my harder days, but I am surrounded by such a great support system that I cannot thank enough. Having Nala [her and Payne’s dog] has helped me so much with my healing journey. I just couldn’t thank everybody enough, all of my friends, my family, for being supportive and helping me be productive.”
“I really am trying to be as productive as I can with not just being stuck in my bedroom all day. Doing small things like yoga, going for a long walk … I’m trying my best to do that,” she added.
An emotional Cassidy also shared with host Lorraine Kelly how Payne’s death was the first major loss she has experienced.
“It is really hard. I’ve never lost anyone before close to me so this is my first time going through this grief and healing journey,” she said. “He has impacted so many people in this world and I know I’m not alone in this, so many other people are grieving. It shows how much of an impact he had throughout his life.”
Remembering the singer, Cassidy continued, “He would light up any room he walked into and he had this sense of humour where he could make anything better. His presence was just comforting and warming, and that is something I will never forget about him, ever.”
Cassidy appeared on Lorraine to help support the program and network ITV’s new mental health initiative, March4March, noting that Payne “was so open about his mental health.”
“Anybody should not be afraid to speak out. … I know he would want me to be able to help anybody because he can no longer help people,” Cassidy added.
Last month, Argentinian prosecutors dropped manslaughter charges against Payne’s friend, Roger Nores, and two CasaSur employees in connection with the singer’s death.
Two men accused of selling Payne drugs, Ezequiel Pereyra and Braian Nahuel Paiz, remain behind bars while they await trial on manslaughter charges. Paiz previously denied selling Payne drugs. It isn’t clear whether Pereyra has entered a plea in response to the charges against him.

Cynthia Bailey is ready to share her new romance with the world!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 58, was recently spotted at Los Angeles International Airport with her new man, LePrince, a musician from the Netherlands.
“He’s a musician. He has music out. He’s from Amsterdam,” Bailey shared with a photographer in a video published by TMZ on Tuesday, March 4.
“It’s good,” she added of their relationship. “We’ve been dating for almost a year now. It wasn’t easy [to keep it under wraps].”
LePrince told the outlet that he is a singer, producer and DJ. According to his website, he is 38 and specializes in a fusion of reggae and electronic music. LePrince was inspired to become a musician after seeing Michael Jackson perform.
Bailey has previously teased her romance with LePrince, however, she kept his identity a tight secret.
“I’m very much in love,” Bailey exclusively told Us Weekly on the Bravo Fan Fest red carpet in Miami last November “You know, dating is really not easy, especially at this point in my life.”
She continued, “I am, you know, a little up there, [a] woman of a certain age, but I will say that I just said to God, send me my person. I didn’t give him a list or anything, and Amsterdam showed up, and it’s been almost eight months now, and I’m really happy.”
During a panel later in the night, Bailey gushed over her new beau and revealed that he is on the younger side. “I’m dating an amazing young guy, from Amsterdam,” she said. “I wasn’t looking for a young guy. He found me.”
Speaking with Us, Bailey shared the story of how she first met the younger man. “Well, we actually saw each other for the first time at an event in L.A. and we didn’t talk, but he did slide into my DMs a couple of days later, and it worked,” she said.
Bailey returns as a “friend” on the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16, which premieres on Bravo on Sunday, March 9, and shared with Us that we might see LePrince make an appearance.
“You might see some snippets,” she teased. “I come back as an official ‘friend’ for season 16 and there was, like, several times where I was FaceTiming with him. They may have caught him on the show.”
Bailey was previously married to Peter Thomas from 2010 to 2017 and Mike Hill from 2020 to 2022. Both marriages were captured on RHOA.
“I still care about him. He’s my nieces’ father. He’s been wonderful with Farrah,” Kathy, 65, said on the Tuesday, March 4, RHOBH After Show. (Mauricio, 54, and estranged wife Kyle Richards, 56, share daughters Alexia, 28, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s oldest daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, 36.)
“Him and Kyle were a great couple and we used to have so much fun,” Kathy added.
“It’s sad. I’ve called to check on him [on] their anniversary. He was on a trip, a holiday … I called [and said], ‘Is everything OK? I was just calling to see how you are doing,’” she said.
While Kathy has been a source of support for her sister since her separation, she said that the split has also been hard on the Agency founder.

“I felt bad for him too. I could see in his face that he was sad, confused … I felt this was just as tough on him. I just wanted him to know that no matter what, I care and we’re here,” Kathy said.
For her part, Kyle said during Tuesday’s RHOBH After Show that her and Mauricio’s separation has been difficult for her older sister to process.
“Kathy has been very supportive of me, but she’s also been oddly emotional about it,” Kyle revealed. “She’s broken down crying to me about my separation many times. She struggles to talk about it, and I think it’s so interesting. Sometimes she’s so emotional, I’m like, I can’t talk about it with her.”
“She wants to see me happy and move on, of course, but she’s also a little bit heartbroken that it’s come to this,” the RHOBH veteran added.
During Tuesday’s episode of RHOBH on Bravo, Kyle was seen dealing with the aftermath of photos leaking of Mauricio kissing another woman at Mykonos airport. (Multiple outlets published the photos in July 2024, one year after Kyle and Mauricio announced their separation.)
Speaking to Kathy, Kyle decided to remove the word “wife” from her Instagram bio during Tuesday’s episode.
“Do you know what I do need to do? I’m going to do it right now,” Kyle said. “I am not going to be sitting here, having ‘wife’ on my Instagram bio with him running around with people. Why would I?”
“Why am I still going to have [‘wife’] on there after seeing that? I feel stupid to have that on there,” Kyle told Kathy. “He clearly did not know that his photo was being taken but it looked like someone was taking that photo intentionally.”
“In the past, it’s been hard for me to think about taking ‘wife’ off my bio or my married last name, but the picture changed that for me,” Kyle added during her confessional.
The talk show host, 57, called out stars including Megan Thee Stallion, Zoë Kravitz and Julia Fox, who all wore partially nude dresses at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday, March 2.
“You could see everything,” Shepherd said on the Tuesday, March 4, episode of her eponymous talk show. “Zoë Kravitz graced us with her butt crack. You could see everything. Megan Thee Stallion wore a dark green gown with only matching green pasties to cover up her breasts.” (Fox, meanwhile, channeled Lady Godiva in a sheer dress with strategically placed strands of hair covering her crotch and part of her cleavage, though her nipples were on display.)
Shepherd continued, “This is where I have to put my Auntie Sherri wig on, and I say this with all the love that I have: ladies, this is not it.”
Shepherd said that celebrities should be more discerning about their image because there are “young girls who are looking up to all of you” who might emulate their looks.
The former View cohost said she was particularly upset by Megan’s appearance in an emerald gown that exposed one of her breasts. The star covered up her nipple with a pastie in the same color as her gown.

“Megan Thee Stallion, I love you. I’m so upset because God gave you a legitimate gift,” Shepherd said, addressing the “WAP” rapper. “You’re amazing with your lyrical rhymes and how smart you are. A lot of these celebrities say they don’t wanna be a role model, but here’s the thing: it comes with the territory. You can’t escape it.”
“Megan, when you said you graduated from college, do you know how many girls you inspired to go to school also? You didn’t ask for that, but they were watching you,” Shepherd continued.
Later, Shepherd added, “I’m not trying to shame anybody. I’m just concerned where this is going.”
The daytime star also brought up Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, who wore a sheer look at the Grammys in February. “It wasn’t just her cookie jar — we saw cakes and croissants too,” Shepherd said, adding that she thought Censori “looked very uncomfortable.”
Shepherd concluded by reiterating that the celebrities in question are role models for younger women who may be influenced by their red carpet looks.
“All y’all who are sitting out there, these young girls are emulating you. They don’t have security around them. They’re emulating you and they go to these parties and something tragic could happen,” Shepherd said. “These are our future, these young women and young men. I love all of y’all but Auntie Sherri has spoken.”
“Just think about it when you’re putting on this stuff. ‘Who am I influencing? Who’s going to be watching me?’ You never know,” she added.
During the Tuesday, March 4, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, which aired right after a new episode of RHOBH, Garcelle, 58, and Sutton, 53, got into a tense conversation about the nature of Kyle’s friendship with Wade, 30.
After Kyle, 56, was spotted stage-side at a recent performance by Wade, Garcelle and Sutton discussed why Kyle was in attendance, with Sutton saying that she asked Kyle if the appearance was a retaliation to published photos of Kyle’s estranged husband Mauricio Umansky kissing a mystery woman in July 2024. (Kyle and Umansky announced their split in October 2023.)
Garcelle hinted that she believed Kyle’s appearance was indeed a retaliation before adding that she thought Kyle was also motivated by the fact that she enjoys fan speculation surrounding her and Wade. Garcelle then asked Sutton if she agreed with her and when Sutton struggled to answer, Garcelle told her, “You’re just dodging it.”
It all began when Garcelle was asked to detail her theory behind Kyle’s concert appearance. “Do I buy it? I think standing side-stage, when you know there’s so many rumors, I just wouldn’t do it,” Garcelle explained. “You say you don’t want it but then you’re standing there.”
A producer was then overheard trying to get Sutton to share her own thoughts on the matter, with an off-camera voice asking Sutton, “Are you worried about this affecting your relationship with Kyle?” to which Sutton said no.

“I don’t believe it,” Garcelle quickly responded before turning to Sutton to pose her controversial question. “I’m asking you. If you did not want people to continue a rumor about you … and you knew every time you’re with that person, it creates a lot of buzz … are you out and about and letting yourself be photographed?”
While Sutton told Garcelle that she wasn’t dodging the question by struggling to answer it, Sutton admitted that if she “were in a relationship that I didn’t want known,” she would plan to “hide out at my house.”
“I rest my case, your honor,” Garcelle subsequently concluded.
Kyle told Us Weeklyexclusively in November last year that it wouldn’t be fair to publicly discuss her friendship with Wade. “What’s hard is that I can only speak on my behalf,” Kyle said at the time. “I’m not here to speak on anyone’s behalf but my own, especially someone who’s not signed up to do this show and doesn’t want to be spoken about on the show. So that puts me in a very different position.”
Kyle continued, “With that said, what I do address is about me personally and my journey and what I’m going through and where I am at and just not addressing her in particular, because it is just not fair to. Yeah, I have to let her speak for herself.”
Both Kyle and Wade have denied they are romantically involved.

The ex-fiancée of Shahs of Sunset star Mike Shouhed has allegedly filed a temporary restraining order against Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi.
According to People, who obtained legal documents and reported on their findings Tuesday, March 4, Paulina Ben-Cohen accused Gharachedaghi, 43, of assaulting her in a Los Angeles shopping mall on Friday, February 28.
Ben-Cohen, who dated Shouhed, 46, during 2020’s season 8 of Shahs of Sunset and announced his engagement to her via the former reality TV series in August 2021, alleged in the reported filing that Gharachedaghi “approached her from behind while she was shopping” at a Bloomingdale’s outlet and “forced” her to leave the store for a conversation Gharachedaghi “wanted to take place out of sight of cameras.”
Us Weekly has reached out to both parties for comment.
People detailed that the alleged restraining order also included claims that Gharachedaghi “began recording her on her phone, hurling derogatory and offensive remarks,” including “I’m going to f— you up, you will pay for this.”
The legal documents also include an alleged recount of the two women engaging with a security guard stationed in the shopping mall who witnessed the altercation. Ben-Cohen allegedly asked the guard to “escort her to her vehicle,” however, the “toy cop” gave her “a blank stare” before speaking into a walkie talkie.

Ben-Cohen also claimed she felt “scared” for her life as a result of the incident, and phoned 9-1-1 to file a police report before she was advised by an officer to “ask a judge for a temporary restraining order.”
The alleged filing has ordered Gharachedaghi to maintain 100-yard distance from Ben-Cohen and her two children, of whom she welcomed with ex-husband Tal Bahari prior to her relationship with Shouhed.
It is unclear when Shouhed and Ben-Cohen called off their engagement, however, the pair share a distressing history. Ben-Cohen sued Shouhed in March 2024 over an alleged 2022 domestic violence incident.
Married at First Sight’s stars Madison and David are vowing to continue their love story despite their dramatic start.
During the Tuesday, March 4, episode of Lifetime’s reality show, the pair proved they are growing their romance long after the dramatic Decision Day shakeup.
“David and I are being very intentional with each other and setting boundaries and being vulnerable and honest,” Madison, 30, told her costars. “He’s making me feel really special.”
David, 36, added, “We are special. … You can’t fight fate. It’s in the past now. I just want to continue moving forward with you and being honest with you and building that friendship and that foundation. Here we are.”
During season 18 of Married at First Sight, viewers watched Madison develop feelings for David while she was married toAllen and David was married to Michelle.
While the cheating scandal is not what the show’s experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Cal Roberson and Dr. Pia Goff predicted — or wanted to see — both parties made it clear that they want to continue to see where their relationship goes.

During the season finale, David celebrated Madison’s 30th birthday by planning a date and hotel stay. During the celebrations, the pair said “I love you” to each other for the first time.
“I feel like I won the lottery,” Madison said in a confessional interview. “We all deserve happiness and I hope that people see the true genuine connection that David and I have is something some people spend their whole lives looking for. I’m ready for this. I want a partner. I want David, and he wants me back so we’re doing the damn thing.”
Sixteen days after Decision Day, David went as far as to tell cameras, “I want to be married to Madison one day.”

While the honeymoon phase of the relationship continues, David and Madison’s bond certainly wasn’t supported by exes — perhaps understandably so.
In Tuesday’s episode, Michelle, 38, had a tense conversation with Madison as she questioned why she lied about the relationship for several weeks.
“I thought you were my friend and the fact that you lied to me is what hurt me,” she said. “You acted like my friend and you were texting David. Do you not understand that?”
While David offered to leave the room because he didn’t like the back and forth over “my mistake,” Madison shocked her costars by proclaiming their love story is “not a mistake.”
“Where are my devil horns,” she joked after leaving the cast event with David. “Put me in the ring with Michelle baby. She won’t last two seconds.”

Gwyneth Paltrow noticed a serious spike in her menopause symptoms when she increased her alcohol intake amid the stressful Los Angeles wildfires.
“In January when the fires were happening in L.A., I, like, used alcohol for its purpose, of, like, medicating,” Paltrow, 52, shared on the latest episode of her “Goop” podcast. “And normally I don’t drink a lot at all but those two weeks I think I drank every night. And my symptoms were completely out of control.”
The Oscar-winning actress noted that although she is “in the thick” of menopause and “all over the place,” her symptoms are typically “well under control” when she isn’t drinking often. “It’s the first time I really noticed causation in that way,” she added.
Paltrow also shared that she began to feel anxious at night, an issue she never struggled with before perimenopause and menopause. “There were nights where my anxiety … I would just wake up, I would get crushed with anxiety which I’ve never had in my life,” she told Dr. Mary Claire Haver.
Sharing that she’s always been a “real sleeper,” Paltrow said she was surprised by the new symptom as she thought sleep issues during menopause would only come because “you don’t have enough progesterone.”
“I’ve had a particularly bad time with it and hopefully I’m coming out the other side,” she continued. “[But] I would lie in bed and think about every mistake I’ve ever made, every person’s feelings I ever hurt. I would be up for, like, six hours. It was crazy.”
Anxiety has spiked for many Los Angeles residents these past few months as wildfires swept the city and destroyed homes and businesses, forcing thousands to evacuate. Although Paltrow’s home – which she shared with husband Brad Falchuck and was sold for $22 million weeks later — remained “safe,” the actress took to social media in January to express her condolences over watching loved ones lose everything.
“Our beloved Los Angeles… We are in deep grief for so many of our close friends who have lost everything,” Paltrow wrote via Instagram at the time. “Thank you to those inquiring, we are currently safe.”
She continued, “When the fires are out there will be more to say and everything to do. The city of angels will need angels of all kinds. Please everyone, stay safe and vigilant.”
Paltrow and Falchuck, 53, tied the knot in September 2018. Paltrow was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with whom she shares 20-year-old daughter Apple, and 18-year-old son Moses. Falchuck, for his part, has two children, Brody and Isabella, from his first marriage.
As Paltrow continues to navigate her way through menopause, she’s been candid about speaking on her experience in hopes to normalizing the conversation.
“Admittedly, I’ve been spending an inordinately large amount of time on this subject just because there’s so much on postpartum, there’s so much on marriage,” she shared on the podcast. “There’s so much that we go through … but for some reason, even me, with all the access that I have, I’ve found that it’s a very difficult subject to crack.”
Paltrow added that she thinks it’s “amazing” progress around the subject is being made, noting that there are more women who are “happy to be the face of menopause” after she rarely heard about it growing up.
“There was just no mention of it,” she explained. “When I started to go into perimenopause, I just felt so isolated, and alone.”
The second episode of Denise Richards and Her Wild Things featured Denise, 54, meeting up with Tori, 51, for lunch. The pair caught up about life when Denise brought up her dad, Irv Richards, and how he was almost set up with Candy Spelling.
“You know that a hairdresser, a long time ago, wanted to set my dad up with your mom,” Denise said. Tori responded, “Nope, didn’t know that.”
Denise said that her dad was “so intimidated” by the possibility.
“I mean, they’d be cute together,” Tori said. Denise added, “How great would that be? We could have been stepsisters.”
Denise explained that her and Tori’s connection went way back — but they didn’t become friends until recent years.
Albert Michael/startraksphoto.com
“The first time I met Tori was on Beverly Hills, 90210. Then, Tori and I, we would just see each other at different events or shoots that we had,” Denise shared in her confessional. “We actually got to know each other, I would say in the last 15 years.”
“So, you’re single now?” Do you have a date?” Denise asked. “I think your divorce came at such a great time.”
Tori noted that it came at the “right time.” (The actress filed for divorce from Dean, 58, in March 2024. She listed their date of separation in June 2023.)
“Do you ever miss him there?” Denise asked. Tori replied, “I really miss someone fixing s— around the house.”
Denise said that her current husband, Aaron Phypers, is the “only” man she’s been with who can change a lightbulb.
“I can’t imagine [Denise’s ex-husband] Charlie [Sheen] screwing in a lightbulb,” Tori joked. “How many hookers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?”
Denise added, “I think I was a little more handy than he was. I grew up with my father who could build houses.”
The pair also talked about their mutual ex-boyfriend, actor Patrick Muldoon — and called him on the phone. (Denise said in her confessional that she and Patrick were together for “almost” five years when they broke up.)
“He said he was dating you and could not see you,” Denise recalled. “And I was very jealous.”
Denise Richards and Her Wild Things airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The first episode of Denise’s highly anticipated Bravo reality show, which aired on Tuesday, March 4, featured her hosting a picnic in Malibu with family and friends. Brooke, 47, attended with 15-year-old son Bob.
“I wanted to include Brooke, Charlie’s other ex-wife,” Denise, 54, said in her confessional. “There’s a lot of history there. Her sons are my daughters’ brothers. We are a big, blended family.”
Richards shares daughters Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, with Sheen, 59, whom she was married to from 2002 to 2006. Brooke welcomed twins Bob and Max, 15, during her marriage to Sheen from 2008 to 2011.
“I wish you were still at that unit, because I rented three there,” Denise could be heard saying to Brooke at one point, referring to the three condos that she’s currently renting. (It was revealed earlier in the episode that her husband, Aaron Phypers’ family is living in their home. She has three condos — a home, a studio and an office.)
The show’s premiere also introduced viewers to the feud between Sami and Lola, who aren’t speaking because of a boy. Apparently, Sami dated and subsequently broke up with one of Lola’s friends. Lola has not stopped talking to the boy, which upsets Sami. (The girls told Us Weekly exclusively late last month that they blocked each other on social media for a year over the fight.)
“The reason why I wanted to do a family environment is because Sam and Lola have not spoken for a long time,” Denise told Brooke at one point. “They’ve always been really close.”
Brooke replied, “I don’t know what it is about siblings sometimes just being complete opposites. Bob is more of an introvert like Charlie and Max needs a playmate, wants to do something.”
“Bob looks like Charlie and Sami looks like Charlie,” she added before an aside about squirrels. Denise then noted that Sami and Lola were sitting at the same table and asked Brooke to go with her.
Eventually, Denise sits with Sami and Lola alone — but their feud is anything but solved.

Ben Affleck and ex-wife Jennifer Garner spent quality time together at son Samuel’s recent paintball birthday party.
In a photo obtained by TMZ and published on Tuesday, March 4, Affleck, 52, was seen flashing a wide grin at Garner, also 52, while attending “a paintball bash for their son.”
The former couple, who were married from June 2005 to October 2018 and share three children — Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13 — appeared relaxed in each other’s company, walking beside one another while clutching paintball gear including camouflage vests and face masks.
Affleck, whose divorce from Jennifer Lopez was finalized in January, has attended a string of family outings in recent months, most recently appearing courtside with Samuel at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on February 6 to witness the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors, 120-112.
According to a source who spoke exclusively to Us later that week, Garner is still happily dating businessman John Miller as she provides support to Affleck amid his divorce and their respective coparenting duties.
“Everything is fine with John and Jen,” the insider told Us on February 12, contradicting recent rumors that Miller, 47, was jealous of Garner spending increased time with Affleck. “Those close to them haven’t heard of any issues.”
Garner and Affleck were married for 10 years before ending their marriage in 2015 and finalizing their divorce three years later. Affleck went on to wed Lopez, 55, in 2022, before the singer filed to divorce Affleck in August 2024.
When Lopez and Affleck’s divorce was announced, a separate source told Us that Affleck had “confided in [Garner] in a lot of ways,” adding, “Especially lately when things with J.Lo haven’t been so great in recent months.”
In November 2024, Garner reunited with Affleck to celebrate Thanksgiving with their children and volunteer together with the charity organization Midnight Mission. The exes were spotted again just one month later, grabbing breakfast and attending a play put on by their kids, which Lopez also attended.
As for Garner and Miller, the couple were recently seen together during a rare public outing early February. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail on February 2, Garner was seen wrapping her arm around Miller during a walk in L.A., while he placed his hand on her waist. In one snap, Garner cheekily touched one of Miller’s back pants pockets as he reached his hand into the other.
The decision to remove the title of “wife” from her Instagram bio wasn’t an easy one for Kyle Richards.
“Do you know what I do need to do? I’m going to do it right now,” Kyle, 56, said during the Tuesday, March 4, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills while talking to sister Kathy Hilton. “I am not going to be sitting here, having ‘wife’ on my Instagram bio with him running around with people. Why would I?”
“In the past, it’s been hard for me to think about taking ‘wife’ off my bio or my married last name, but the picture changed that for me,” Kyle said during her confessional.
She told Kathy that Mauricio had previously removed “husband and father” from his own Instagram bio at some time following their separation.
“Why am I still going to have [‘wife’] on there after seeing that? I feel stupid to have that on there,” Kyle added. “He clearly did not know that his photo was being taken but it looked like someone was taking that photo intentionally.”
Elsewhere in the scene, Kyle speculated that Mauricio is “freaking out” over the photo being published online.
“I would think that he would text and say something though, I don’t know why,” she added. Kathy responded, “When people are quiet, that tells you a lot.”

For years prior to their separation, there were widespread rumors that Mauricio had cheated on Kyle — all of which they both denied.
“We’ve heard all those rumors about him. It’s embarrassing, it’s humiliating, but really, we’ve never seen a picture,” Kathy said in her confessional. “Nobody’s ever comes out. He’s not in a position financially to pay anybody off.”
Kyle also noted to Kathy that she doesn’t want to “dig” into the mystery woman’s identity.
“I don’t care who she is. That doesn’t matter,” she continued. “I need to move on. I don’t want to keep talking about her so much. Who cares? It doesn’t even matter.”
Kyle added, “It could be somebody else next week. … I have to move forward.”

Teddi Mellencamp has been discharged from the hospital after undergoing surgery to remove four brain tumors.
“16 days and I get to go home!!!” Mellencamp, 43, wrote alongside a video of her in a car uploaded to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, March 4. “Thank you to all my loves and life savers for getting me through this.”
The clip featured Teddi, the daughter of rockstar John Mellencamp, as she sat in the passenger seat sporting her new short hairdo and sunglasses. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum got emotional as she sang along to the track “Coming Home” by Diddy and Skylar Grey.
After Teddi settled back in, she uploaded an additional story of her walking on a treadmill.
“I’m starting back slow. Obviously very emotional watching your body change with so much medication from the brain tumors,” she said to the camera. “But [I’m] just trying to remember how grateful I am that I can move my body again.”
In a subsequent snap, Teddi showed that her body was sensitive and had “bruising and swelling.”
“I know I can do this,” she penned. “F— off tears. I can do hard things.”

Teddi also hit the cold plunge pool and sauna, getting ahead of the keyboard physicians by sharing that her doctor gave her the go-ahead.
Last month, Teddi revealed that she was suffering from “severe and debilitating headaches” for several weeks and subsequently went to the hospital for treatment.
“Yesterday, the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least six months,” she wrote via Instagram on February 12. “I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health. Thank you to everybody who has reached out and to everyone who has supported me along this journey.”
Nearly two weeks later, Teddi gave an update on her condition.
“I am grateful for the incredible surgeons, doctors and nurses who made my surgery a success and my recovery process more comfortable,” Teddi shared via Instagram at the time. “In full transparency, more tumors were removed than expected: 4 in total. This fight is not over, but that round has been won.”
In addition to her health struggles, Teddi has also been in the middle of a divorce from Edwin Arroyave. The pair, who share daughters Slate, 12, and Dove, 4, and son Cruz, announced their split in November 2024. However, a source told UsWeekly that Teddi and Arroyave are on “good terms” at the moment and are prioritizing her recovery before finalizing their split.
“The divorce is not anyone’s focus at the moment,” the insider explained. “Edwin wants to be there for Teddi and their family in any way they need.”
A judge has granted to pause Justin Baldoni’s $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times.
Judge Lewis J. Liman granted The New York Times’ request to stay discovery on Tuesday, March 4, according to documents. During this period, the judge will review the newspaper’s motion to be dismissed from the lawsuit.
“The Wayfarer Parties are unlikely to be unfairly prejudiced by a stay while the Court decides the pending motion,” the federal judge wrote of Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, its CEO, financier Steve Sorowitz, and publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel in a brisk five-page order obtained by Deadline on Tuesday.
“The NY Times did not delay filing its motion; it filed the motion within 21 days of being served,” he added, per the outlet. “The Court intends to address the motion to dismiss promptly after it is fully submitted. To the extent that the Wayfarer Parties are concerned about delay, they have it within their power to accelerate their contemplated further amended complaint or their opposition to the motion to dismiss. The Wayfarer Parties themselves suggest that discovery from the NY Times is unlikely to be voluminous.”
Following the judge’s decision, a spokesperson for The New York Times addressed the paper’s small legal victory.
“We appreciate the court’s decision today, which recognizes the important First Amendment values at stake here,” a New York Times spokesperson said in a statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday. “The court has stopped Mr. Baldoni from burdening The Times with discovery requests in a case that should never have been brought.”
Us has reached out to Baldoni for comment.
The judge’s decision comes four days after The New York Times filed a motion asking to be removed from the lawsuit. The outlet also defended its reporting of Blake Lively’s accusations against Baldoni, 40, on the set of It Ends With Us.
Justin Baldoni and Blake LivelySony Pictures
“As our motion shows, this case should never have been brought against The New York Times,” a spokesperson told Us on Friday, February 28. “Blake Lively raised serious concerns about the way she was treated on the set and after the movie’s release. We did exactly what news organizations should do: we informed the public of the complaint she filed with the California Civil Rights Department. Mr. Baldoni’s misbegotten campaign against The Times — questioning our ethics, attempting to discredit our reporting, filing a baseless lawsuit — will not silence us.”
In December 2024, The New York Times published a story where Lively, 37, accused her It Ends With Us director and costar of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her. (Following the New York Times story, Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation.)
Baldoni denied the allegations and subsequently sued The New York Times, claiming that the media company “cherry-picked” communications and omitted context which allegedly misled readers in its article “We Can Bury Anyone: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.”
At the time, a New York Times spokesperson stood by its story, telling Us in a statement that the outlet planned to “vigorously defend against the lawsuit.”
“The role of an independent news organization is to follow the facts where they lead,” the statement read. “Our story was meticulously and responsibly reported. It was based on a review of thousands of pages of original documents, including the text messages and emails that we quote accurately and at length in the article. Those texts and emails were also the crux of a discrimination claim filed in California by Blake Lively against Justin Baldoni and his associates.”
Baldoni also filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and Lively’s publicist Leslie Sloane. Slone, for her part, has filed a motion to remove herself from the lawsuit.
Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen split in 2005 and have been working to raise daughters Sami and Lola together ever since.
Sami arrived in 2004 while the actress was married to the Two and a Half Men alum. Lola was born in 2005 after her parents had called it quits. Richards went on to adopt daughter Eloise in 2011, marryingAaron Phypers seven years later.
As for Sheen, he welcomed twin sons, Bob and Max, with now-ex Brooke Muellerin 2009. Richards briefly had custody of their boys in 2013 while her ex-husband and Mueller struggled with substance abuse.
Since calling it quits, Richards and Sheen have been open about coparenting their daughters — and when they became teenagers it got even more complicated.
Scroll down for a deep dive into Richards and Sheen’s dynamic with Sami and Lola:
"I'll never cut off contact with Charlie,” Richards told Us ahead of a family vacation. "He's my girls' dad. As they're older they'll deal with him how they can."
The former Bravo personality called Richards and Mueller her “family” in an Access Hollywood interview. "Brooke knows, and Charlie, that anytime they need help with the boys, I'm there,” she said. "They're our family, and they're Sami and Lola's brothers. I can't imagine growing up without my sister, so anytime [Brooke] needs help, I'm there for the boys. [Sami and Lola] are the best big sisters to [the boys], and they love them. I know it doesn't seem normal, but it is our normal.”
"My situation with Charlie is that we've gotten along for quite some time now, and it's so much better,” Richards exclusively told Us. "There are a lot of feelings and emotions there, but at the end of the day, our daughters benefit from us getting along, and [I do], too. I don't want to have an unhealthy relationship with him, something toxic with a lot of animosity. Life's too short for that. We actually enjoy hanging out, and we enjoy being with the kids."
The former Bravo personality was “shocked” when one of her daughters brought up her racy Wild Things scene, telling Yahoo! Lifestyle Australia, "A couple of friends had told [one of my daughters] about it and I just said to her, ‘I would appreciate if you didn’t watch it. It’s not age-appropriate.'”
Richards has been “honest” about her past with her children, she said during a “Daddy Issues” podcast episode: "They had heard that I was in Playboy. I didn’t even think that they would know what that is because now kids can go on the internet and see all kinds of things, so [I had] to explain that. They don’t Google [me]. I don’t think they want to know certain things either. I wouldn’t want to read certain things about my parents.”
"There’s a lot that the kids don’t know about their dad, and I want to keep it that way,” the former reality star said during a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills confessional. "Even though he’s Charlie Sheen, that is still, to them, their dad. I never talk badly about him, and I want him to be part of their lives because I met a lot of the women that Charlie entertained and a lot of them had father-daughter issues. And I do not want that to be our girls.”
"Denise set normal rules that any parent would be setting,” the source told Us following Sami’s departure. "She’s a mom and a parent and there are rules. [Sami] didn’t want to follow the rules."
Us confirmed on October 4 that a judge ruled Sheen would no longer have to pay Richards child support. While his attorney told the judge that his client had been overpaying and set up a trust for both Sami and Lola, a source told Us that the actress hadn’t received funds from Sheen in four years. The Bravo alum also wasn’t present at the court hearing.
“She wasn’t there because she is working out of state which Charlie was well aware of and Denise was never served this court date. He did this on purpose,” a source alleged to Us. “He filed two years ago and he kept pushing the court date. Denise kept asking when the date was and he blew her off. He pushed it off because he didn’t want records of the child support he was paying [his ex-wife] Brooke to impact the case after he agreed to pay them both the same amount of child support.”
Sheen, meanwhile, told Us at the time: “I think what transpired today is extremely fair. It speaks to not just today, but it speaks historically to that same fairness.”
“I have a strained relationship with her. It’s very difficult,” the former Bravo star said on the “Jeff Lewis Has Issues” when asked about her daughter Sami. “I know though [that] we’ll get back to where we were, eventually. Right now, it is strained.”
“In a blink of an eye you’re 18,” Richards captioned an Instagram slideshow for Sami's birthday. “Happy Birthday my beautiful Sami. I love you so much. Privately many more words to share with you. I love you unconditionally and I am very blessed and grateful to be your mom. And Nana is looking down celebrating with you. I love you my sweet Sami. Happy 18th Birthday!”
"Happy mother’s day !! i love u so much mom. u have no idea how grateful i am to have u in my life 💗💐🥂," Richards' eldest daughter wrote alongside several Instagram selfies with her mother.
The reality star, for her part, replied, "Thank you Sami for an amazing Mother’s Day. It means a lot to me. I know nana was at dinner with us she would never miss one of her favorite restaurants. 🙏🏻 Thank you & I love you so much❤️."
After news broke that Sami joined OnlyFans, Sheen told Us in an exclusive statement: "She is 18 years old now and living with her mother. This did not occur under my roof. I do not condone this but since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity."
Richards, for her part, pointed to Sami's age as evidence that she's able to make her own decisions about how she spends her time. "Sami is 18, and this decision wasn’t based on whose house she lives in," the Happy Hazel star told Us. "All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgment, but she makes her own choices.”
Richards revealed in October 2023 that she opposed daughter Sami getting breast implants. “I’m trying to talk her out of it, and the reason why I’m getting them out, is I didn’t know how toxic [they are] when I was 19,” Richards told Bustle. “And it’s not an easy surgery. It’s painful!”
One month later, Sami announced via her Instagram Story that she did get the breast implants despite her mom’s concerns.
Richards exclusively told Us all about her new E! series called Denise Richards and the Wild Things, starring all three of her daughters. (She shares Sami and Lola with Sheen, and adopted Eloise in 2011.)
“It’s a big glimpse into our family,” Richards said. “We’re finishing up everything. I’m excited, but I’m also like, ‘Oh my gosh, everyone’s gonna see my family.’”
“It’s been [complicated] from day one and both girls are finding their path in the relationship and that’s OK,” Richards exclusively shared with Us of Sami and Lola’s dynamic with Sheen. “Things can be up and down, but you can always get through it.”
Sami confirmed to Us in a joint interview that her relationship with Sheen is “complicated.” Lola, meanwhile, said that she’s grown closer with her dad in recent years.
“My life is way more enjoyable when we have a relationship because if not, it’s like, I hate having that feeling of not talking,” Lola shared with Us. “Obviously, we go through ups and downs sometimes, but our relationship is good. When I really started to struggle with my mental health, he really helped me because he’s not very emotional so he kind of gets straight to the point, and I think that’s what helped me in moments of anxiety.”

On the morning of February 26, Michelle Trachtenberg was found unconscious and unresponsive at her midtown NYC apartment by her mom, Lana. She was just 39 years old. “It is with great sadness to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away,” the beloved star’s rep told Us Weekly.
As news of her untimely death spread, it sent shockwaves through Hollywood and among the devoted fans who grew up alongside her. Trachtenberg rose to fame as a child on Nickelodeon shows before playing the lead in 1995’s Harriet the Spy. The millennial icon went on to score memorable roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl. “Michelle had such a significant cultural impact,” a longtime friend tells Us. “People loved her; you’d hang out with her, and it wasn’t like she was crazily famous, but those who loved her were obsessed and would come up and talk to her.”
In recent years, the Brooklyn native had begun to retreat from the spotlight, and fans noted her changing appearance on social media. In a 2024 post, Trachtenberg assured them she was “happy and healthy,” but sources say her health had been deteriorating for some time and confirm she had a liver transplant in the months before she died. “She was very open with those close to her about having the transplant,” says the friend, “but she never went into detail.” (In a statement to Us, NYPD said criminal activity “was not suspected.” On February 27, her cause of death was ruled “undetermined” by the medical examiner after her family objected to an autopsy.)
Trachtenberg — who had been dating film producer Jay Cohen since 2020 — had recently spent a prolonged period of time in the hospital and was released early this year. “The last time I saw her, something felt off,” says an industry insider. “You could sense something was going on. She was really frail and had been sick for a while.” On February 20 — less than a week before she died — the actress was spotted at Soho’s trendy Sartiano’s restaurant with a group of friends. “Something seemed off about her,” echoes an eyewitness. Ariana Rodriguez, a neighbor at Trachtenberg’s apartment building, tells Us she noticed how “svelte” she’d become and that she looked “less and less like herself.”
Famous friends have offered some insight into the final few years of Trachtenberg’s life. “Heartbreaking. I loved her very much,” her Harriet the Spy costar Rosie O’Donnell told Us in a statement. “She struggled the last few years. I wish I could have helped.” In a February 26 Instagram tribute, British photographer and journalist Amanda de Cadenet revealed Trachtenberg had recently FaceTimed her from a hospital bed and was aware she was gravely ill. “Even though you did not look like you, your sweetness and humor were still alive,” de Cadenet wrote. “You knew that death was a high possibility and I am only sorry that the outcome was not a better one.”

Trachtenberg was just 3 when she made her acting debut in commercials. She later became a Nickelodeon standout with parts on Clarissa Explains it All and The Adventures of Pete & Pete. Despite not having any formal training, she had star quality and depth. “I was sort of mature for my years,” Trachtenberg recalled, “and I understood everything that was going on.”
While she seemed to avoid some of the common trappings of child stardom, she experienced behind-the-scenes challenges. She was open about the bullying she endured in school by jealous classmates. “The kids were cruel… I still have scars from being thrown down stairs and slammed into lockers head first,” she wrote in a 2020 Instagram post.
In 2021, when her Buffy costar (and close friend)Sarah Michelle Gellar expressed support for castmate Charisma Carpenter after she accused the show’s creator, Joss Whedon, of on-set abuse, Trachtenberg chimed in, calling Whedon’s behavior “not appropriate” and added that there was a rule on set that he wasn’t “allowed in a room alone with Michelle again.”

In recent years, she became more reclusive. She hosted the true crime series Meet, Marry, Murder in 2021 and did a two-episode stint on the 2022 Gossip Girl reboot, but was largely out of the public eye. “She achieved huge success early on but lost her footing later,” says the longtime friend. “I think she gave up on the fame aspect and didn’t want to be part of Hollywood anymore.”
According to the friend, Trachtenberg’s health problems had been brewing for a while. “She had back issues, and then bone problems and she also fell a few times.” (Trachtenberg appeared on a red carpet with a cane in 2019 and shared a photo of her badly bruised ankle on Instagram in 2021.) “Whenever we spoke, there was something medically wrong,” notes the friend. Adds a source close to the situation: “Michelle was thrown a lot of curveballs with her health, but she did her best not to let it get her down.”
Trachtenberg had recently been hospitalized and had undergone a liver transplant within the last year. Liver failure is generally the result of genetic disorders, cancer, hepatitis or excessive alcohol consumption. If a transplant is required because of alcohol, recipients must abstain from drinking for the rest of their lives. “She did drink, but not excessively in public,” says the longtime friend. “She was never the type to party hard. In the end, she was more of a recluse.”

Her inner circle was small. She was close with her mom and older sister, Irene, and a second close friend says Trachtenberg and Cohen had been living together at the time of her death. (He was seen at the Sherman Oaks, California, home that she also shared with her mother on the day she died.) “She loved him a lot,” says the friend.
She remained tight with many of her former costars. “She saw the cast of Buffy the most,” says the friend. (Gellar, says the industry insider, “is devastated” by the loss. “They talked often.”) She also stayed in touch with Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester and Chace Crawford, telling Us in 2020 that she and Meester had recently had dinner together.
Trachtenberg’s friend comedian Abbey Vollman revealed in a February 26 Insta post that they were planning to write a show together, and director Casey Tebo said on X that he’s “doing everything I can” to get a screenplay written by Trachtenberg made. The second friend says the actress was “excited” about the upcoming Hulu Buffy reboot, though she hadn’t signed on. “Michelle was focused on getting her health back on track and had high hopes for the future.”

Those close to her will remember her vibrant spirit and kindness. “She was a lovely human being and a good friend,” says the industry source. “She remembered birthdays, was kind and if she saw something on Instagram, she’d reach out and say something nice.” The second close friend says Trachtenberg loved “writing, shopping, crime shows and her cats,” adding, “Michelle was so proud of everything she did, every acting role.” Trachtenberg’s neighbor Rodriguez adds that she was down-to-earth and friendly. “[Michelle] smiled at everyone in the hallways, and she always said hi,” she tells Us. “I’m so sad that I won’t be seeing her anymore.”

The stars of FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted are “sad” just like Us — and the FBI fanbase — after the spinoff was axed by CBS alongside FBI: Most Wanted on Tuesday, March 4.
“Of course I’m sad the show must come to an end, but I want to thank Wolf Entertainment and CBS for everything: in particular the incredible tour of Europe! We have memories to last us a lifetime!” Eva-Jane Willis, who plays Europol liaison Megan “Smitty” Garretson on FBI: International, told Us Weekly in a statement on Tuesday.
She explained, “Also, everyone needs to know how incredible our crew in Budapest are: our family away from home — I cannot thank you enough. And to the fans: you’re amazing!”
Willis, 40, teased, “Great episodes coming up so stick with us all the way to the finish line! We’re not done yet!”
FBI: Most Wanted star Keisha Castle-Hughes, meanwhile, also reacted to the news of her show’s cancellation, telling Us in a statement, “It’s been a true privilege to play Hana Gibson over six seasons” of the CBS procedural.
“Thanks to Wolf Films and to CBS, David Hudgins and Ken Girotti, for supporting an incredible run of the show. I will treasure the memories and the friendships built over my time on the series and the years spent,” she continued. “My deepest gratitude goes to the hardworking crews from New York. These are the people who have carried me through frigid winters and sweltering summers, early mornings and long days, and because of them it was never hard.”
Castle-Hughes also addressed the loyal viewers, sharing, “It’s bittersweet but we are invigorated and determined to close out Season 6 with hard work and love and give you the best season yet! This is for you!”
Us confirmed on Tuesday that FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International were cancelled ahead of the 2025-2026 TV season.
Most Wanted, which debuted in January 2020, will not be returning after its current sixth season. The series was originally led by Julian McMahon, who exited after season 3.
Dylan McDermott took over to lead the team as FBI SSA Remy Scott during season 4. (Variety reported that Most Wanted has “won” its time slot with every season 6 episode prior to cancellation.)
International, which premiered in September 2021, will end with its current fourth season, Us confirmed. The series had a lot of casting shake ups in recent years, including OG stars Heida Reed and Luke Kleintank exiting in 2024. (Kleintank left after the third season, while Reed departed during the season 3 premiere.)
Jesse Lee Soffer replaced Kleintank as the Fly Team lead for season 4, playing Wes Mitchell. His real-life friend Jay Hayden briefly joined the cast for a multi-episode arc, which ended in February.
Fans voiced their sadness over the news via social media as well. “FBI: Most Wanted winning its time slot every single episode this season, being the only one in the franchise with a lesbian character, and a show that’s had Native American AND Māori representation … I hate this from the bottom of my heart,” one fan wrote via X after news broke on Tuesday.
Another user tweeted, “Guys I’m out” after reading about both shows’ fates.
“SHAME on you, @CBS! Cancel FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International?! Seriously?!” a third user wrote via X. “Two great series, thrilling investigations, a loyal audience… and you just throw them out?! Absurd and disrespectful decision! #SaveFBIMostWanted #SaveFBIInternational.”
A fourth fan wondered what the cancellations will do for the crossover connection between FBI: Most Wanted’s Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) and FBI’s Stuart Scola (John Boyd). The TV couple started a romance on FBI before Nina jumped over to Most Wanted for season 5.
Carter Redwood and Vinessa VidottoNelly Kiss/CBS
“Oh my god you what! Not FBI: Most Wanted what about Nina and Scola can’t stop that,” a user tweeted with a crying face emoji.
More users pointed out how “really sad” it is to see the spinoffs come to an end. “It’s sad to see two shows with good viewership being discarded like this,” one person wrote via X.
While Most Wanted has won its time slot all season, International has consistently won its time slot or come in second this season, according to Variety.
“NBC, Peacock some one [sic] please pick up FBI Inter[national] and Most Wanted PLEASE,” a different user wrote via X alongside a praying mouse gif.
Another fan agreed, writing, “Love watching these shows. I hope another network picks these shows up.”
“These shows are great and I guess it’s time to quit watching CBS,” a frustrated viewer wrote via X. “They’re going to cut these great shows out. They need to think about it.”
While many fans voiced their issues with FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International abruptly ending, the flagship series FBI is safe. FBI was renewed in April 2024 for three more seasons, keeping it on air through season 9.
FBI’s latest spinoff, FBI: CIA, was announced in January and is currently in development. The newest drama will be about “A dedicated, strait-laced FBI agent and a street-smart CIA agent are part of a new, clandestine task force charged with solving and preventing domestic terrorism in and around New York City,” per the logline.
FBI, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted airs on CBS Tuesdays at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.
Family drama! Denise Richards has had some turbulent times parenting her daughter Sami after she moved in with dad Charlie Sheen.
“Obviously, I would love for her to live with me,” the 50-year-old actress said in February 2022 on an episode of the “Jeff Lewis Has Issues” podcast. “She lived with me all these years, but I think it’s very difficult raising teenagers these days, especially in Los Angeles.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum explained that in her house there are “certain rules and I enforce them,” whereas ex-husband Sheen, 56, has “different rules in that house and that’s OK.”
Richards was married to the Two and a Half Men actor from 2002 to 2006. The exes share 18-year-old Sami and 17-year-old Lola. (The Wild Things star adopted daughter Eloise in 2011. Sheen, for his part, is the father to 12-year-old twins Bob and Max, whom he shares with ex-wife Brooke Mueller.)
While both girls previously lived with the Illinois native, things took a turn when in September 2021 Sami claimed via TikTok that she was “trapped in an abusive home” while living with her mom and husband Aaron Phypers.
“Now: finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy single, full of self love, and dropped out of high school :),” Sami said on the social media platform. Sheen confirmed later that month that his eldest had moved in with him and was getting her GED.
“I love her and all my children unconditionally. We’re having a ball. GED here we come!” he said via his publicist.
A source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that Richards was “saddened” by the situation, but “very much loves her daughter.”
The two reconnected to celebrate Mother’s Day in May when Sami revealed a glimpse into the pair’s reunion.
“Happy mother’s day !! i love u so much mom. u have no idea how grateful i am to have u in my life ,” Richards’ eldest daughter captioned via Instagram selfies.
Richards commented on the post, writing, “Thank you Sami for an amazing Mother’s Day. It means a lot to me. I know nana was at dinner with us she would never miss one of her favorite restaurants. Thank you & I love you so much.”
Scroll down to see all of Richards’ ups and downs with daughter Sami through the years:
Hints of the duo's strained relationship started dropping during Richards' time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
"I'm struggling with parenting right now with my teenagers," the Starship Troopers actress revealed during an episode. "Sami, I think sometimes she does things hoping to get a reaction out of me. It's not easy."
The turbulence escalated when Sami claimed via TikTok that her reason for moving in with Sheen was because Richards' home had become a "hell house" for the teenager.
“1 year ago today: trapped in an abusive household, hated myself, would go days without eating or sleeping, insanely depressed, hated school, etc … Now finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own two cats, happy[ily] single, full of self-love, and dropped out of high school :)," she captioned the now deleted video.
A source exclusively told Us at the time that Richards was "saddened" by the situation, but "very much loves her daughter."
"Charlie didn't support implementing Denise's rules. He has a different way of parenting and Sami decided to live with her dad," the source said.
The insider added: Denise is just like any other divorce parent dealing with a rebellious teenage daughter. It’s better for Sami if Denise and Charlie were coparenting her during this time. They are not. Sami is living with Charlie at his apartment in Malibu.”
On an episode of the "Jeff Lewis Has Issue" podcast, Richards explained that Sami had a hard time adjusting to the rules she set at home.
"Obviously, I would love for her to live with me," the reality star said. "She lived with me all these years. But I think it's very difficult raising teenagers now and especially in Los Angeles. When there's access to everything. We didn't grow up with Postmates, and Uber, and this, and this, and this where you have everything that you want."
Richards admitted that the two had a "strained relationship" and it was "very difficult" for her to deal with" but had faith the two would get back to a good place eventually.
"I know we’ll get back to where we were eventually but right now, it is strained," the Bold and the Beautiful star said. "There are certain rules and I enforce them," she continued. "And [at Sheen’s], there’s different rules at that house and that’s okay."
Richard penned a touching tribute for her eldest daughter's 18th birthday.
“In a blink of an eye you’re 18 …. !!!!” the Vanity alum captioned an Instagram slideshow. “Happy Birthday my beautiful Sami. I love you so much. Privately many more words to share with you. I love you unconditionally and I am very blessed and grateful to be your mom. And Nana is looking down celebrating with you. I love you my sweet Sam. Happy 18th Birthday!”
The birthday girl replied to the social media upload: “Thank you so much mom I love you too.”
The mother and daughter duo shared their love on social media again after they reconnected to celebrate Mother's Day together.
"Happy mother’s day !! i love u so much mom. u have no idea how grateful i am to have u in my life 💗💐🥂," Richards’ eldest daughter captioned a few Instagram selfies.
Richards commented on the post, writing, “Thank you Sami for an amazing Mother’s Day. It means a lot to me. I know nana was at dinner with us she would never miss one of her favorite restaurants. 🙏🏻 Thank you & I love you so much❤️.”
Following their Mother's Day celebration, a source close to the Anger Management actress exclusively told Us, "Denise and Sami reconnected within the last month, they are getting along very well."
After Sami made headlines for joining OnlyFans, Sheen implied that Richards' parenting had something to do with it. “She is 18 years old now and living with her mother,” the Two and a Half Men alum told Us in an exclusive statement. “This did not occur under my roof.”
Richards, for her part, pointed out that Sami's age simply means she's legally able to decide what she wants to do. “Sami is 18, and this decision wasn’t based on whose house she lives in," the Guardians of Justice alum told Us. "All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgment, but she makes her own choices.”
Richards doubled down on her support for Sami's independence as the teen's OnlyFans account raised eyebrows. "Sami I will always support you & always have your back. I love you ❤️," the actress commented on her daughter's Instagram post.
The Starship Troopers star once again came to the teen's defense after facing negative comments via Instagram surrounding Sami’s OnlyFans account.
“I have to say I wish I had the confidence my 18-year-old has,” she said in the post at the time. “And I can’t be judgmental about her choices. I did Wild Things and Playboy.”
The reality star also said that Sheen “shouldn’t be” judging Sami’s choices either, praising their daughter's “ability to ignore the negative at her age," which is something that “took me many years and I still sometimes struggle” with.
She concluded her post by questioning why the NSFW site is so controversial, claiming there isn’t “really a difference between posting a picture of ourselves in a bikini on IG” and all social media “monetize's” their platforms.
Richards teased her "really cool" OnlyFans collaboration with Sami during an exclusive interview with Us, crediting the teen for teaching her about the platform. "It's gonna be something that's gonna be really editorial and beautiful. I'm excited. ... I've shot with both my daughters for different magazines and it's been a long time, so it's gonna be fun to be able to do a shoot with her now that she's a little bit older."
Despite her mom’s discouragement, Sami decided to undergo breast augmentation in November 2023.
“Guess who got a new rack todayyy,” she captioned a photo shared via an Instagram Story of her in a hospital gown.
The decision came after Richards warned her oldest daughter that it may not be the best idea. “I’m trying to talk her out of it because, and the reason why I’m getting them out, is I didn’t know how toxic [they are] when I was 19,” she told Bustle. “And it’s not an easy surgery. It’s painful!”
Richards celebrated the premiere of her family’s reality show, Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, starring her daughters Lola and Sami.
“I wanted the girls to really want to do it, and I think it’s also a great time for them,” Richards explained to Us Weekly before the premiere. “They’ve always lived basically in the shadows of their parents where they’re ‘the daughters of,’ and it’s a nice time for them to be able to be themselves and shine and be Sami and Lola.”
