Kesha is trying to keep things light for fans who are worried about the looming ban on TikTok in the U.S. — by reminding them that her single “Tik Tok” will always be there.

The singer shared a video via Instagram on Saturday, January 18, featuring herself wearing a black hoodie and closing her eyes while part of her 2010 hit song played. Over the view, she wrote, “TikTok may be temporary, but TiK ToK is forever,” and added both a peace sign and black heart emoji.

The song was an instant hit when it debuted, spending nine weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Kesha performed the song in Oakland, California, in 2023, where she changed the opening line of the song from, “Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy” to “Wake up in the morning feeling just like me.” The lyric swap came after Cassie (real name Cassandra Ventura) filed a lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023,, accusing the rapper of sexual assault and abuse. Diddy has denied all allegations against him.

Since Cassie’s lawsuit, many others have also come forward with allegations against the disgraced music mogul. Diddy has continued to deny the allegations against him, and is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York.

During her 2024 Coachella set, Kesha changed the opening line of her song again, this time to, “Wake up in the mornin’ like f—k P. Diddy.” In May of the same year, she confirmed the lyric swap was permanent after she was approached by TMZ at LAX airport.

“Yes, it will be, so the fans should learn it for my upcoming shows. I want to hear it louder than ever,” she said. “I stand by that.”

“I’m not the kind of person that just shuts the f— up, I know what I stand for, I know my integrity is rock solid so I speak the truth,” Kesha continued. “And the industry can kind of like suck my d—.”

As for the social media app of the same name, the Supreme Court has upheld the U.S. government’s proposed TikTok ban, and the app’s owners ByteDance have pledged to make the app inaccessible for users in the United States beginning at midnight Sunday, January 19.

The Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act was proposed after Congress expressed worries about espionage on behalf of China by ByteDance. The company has said they will remove TikTok from smartphone app stores. The parent company later explained on Friday that they will cut off services and “go dark” unless the U.S. assures Apple and Google that they won’t be penalized for hosting and distributing TikTok.

The loss of the app will have a major impact on content creators and influencers who earn income through the TikTok Creator Fund, as well as those who earn revenue through brand sponsorships and by selling merchandise on the platform.

Caitlin Clark is cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs alongside Taylor Swift.

Clark, 22, joined Swift, 35, at the Chiefs playoff game against the Houston Texans on Saturday, January 18, at Arrowhead Stadium. A video shared via TikTok by the NFL’s official account on Saturday showed Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, breaking a tackle by the Texans.

As fans cheered, the camera zoomed over to Swift’s box seats, where she was seen throwing her arms around Clark in celebration. In the box, Swift was also joined by her parents, Scott and Andrea, and her brother, Austin, all of whom were sporting Chiefs-branded windbreakers, per social media.

Saturday’s matchup against the Texans is the first playoff game of the season for the Chiefs. The winning team will advance to the AFC conference championship, where they will face off against either the Baltimore Ravens or the Buffalo Bills. Whoever wins that match will head to the Super Bowl in February.

“I went early on when Taylor first went on tour in Minnesota at U.S. Bank. One of her early concerts and that was a lot of fun,” Clark told the Kelce brothers. “I went with some of my college friends and we had a good time together.”

However, during the podcast, Clark, who currently plays as a guard for the Indiana Fever in the WNBA, made it clear that being a Chiefs fan is in her blood.

In a video shared via TikTok on Thursday, January 16, Jonas, 35, showed himself dressed in drag. In the six-second clip, the Jonas Brothers star sported a full face of makeup, a layered bob wig, and a black satin low-cut dress. He lip synced over a popular TikTok sound bite, which said, “I’m going roller skating, don’t touch my stuff!”

Jonas did not elaborate on why, exactly, he was dressed in drag — or reveal his potential (please, tell Us it exists!) drag name. However, he was recently spotted in Toronto, Canada, on the set of brother Nick Jonas’s upcoming holiday movie starring wife Priyanka Chopra, per TMZ on Tuesday, January 14. The Bachelor alum Rachael Kirkconnell is getting cryptic on social media following her break up from Matt James.

Kirkconnell, 28, reposted a handful of cryptic videos about the ending of their respective relationships. In one clip, the caption read, “Actual footage of me breaking into my friend’s man’s house after finding out they cheated.”

In the video, a woman went incognito thanks to a police costume, a hat, a pair of sunglasses and a fake mustache while holding up a camera. She stood behind the door, waiting for her pal’s significant other to come home and then promptly tackled him to the ground.

Kirkconnell later “liked” a fan social media comment that suggested James’ upload blindsided her. A source confirmed to Us Weekly that she was only out of the loop on his posting timeline and not the split itself.

“The split may seem abrupt, but this has been brewing for a while. It was a long time coming,” the source exclusively claimed to Us. “Matt just couldn’t commit to her.”

The insider also alleged that Kirkconnell and James struggled with trust issues.

After working in  healthcare for several years before becoming a life coach and social media personality, Gopman has amassed nearly 400,000 followers on TikTok, where most of her content is originally shared. 

Gopman has been an outspoken supporter of the platform, which is set to go dark in the United States on Sunday, January 19, after the Supreme Court TKTKTK. On Friday, January 17, she shared a video featuring herself and her young daughter at the airport and captioned it, “Us moving to China since TikTok is getting banned.” 

After a commenter noted that TikTok is also banned in China, Gopman shared a second video on Saturday that also featured her mother. “Us leaving America since Tiktok is getting banned,” she wrote. 

Gopman and her mother are the co-authors of the 2019 book A Bond That Lasts Forever. In an interview for the book, Gopman told Tinseltown Mom, “My mom and I have always been close. Of course we had our ups and downs like any mother and daughter relationship and we got in our fair share of arguments during my teenage years, however it is how we got through the tough times that made us so much stronger.”

She also credited her mother with helping her find her voice as a young woman and instead often asked her opinion on different topics. “It made me realize that I had a voice and that she cared about it. She always wanted to spend quality time with me, which made me feel very special early on,” she explained.

Reality television star Heidi Montag opened up to Us Weekly in an exclusive interview about what she took — and what she wishes she didn’t leave behind — while evacuating the L.A. wildfires.

“I didn’t know what to do,” The Hills alum told Us on Wednesday, January 15, referring to the moment she realized she and her family had to flee the uncontrolled fire burning through the Pacific Palisades. “Nothing could have prepared me for that … You just can’t wrap your head around it. I started just packing things that made sense — I wasn’t really thinking about anything else.”

Heidi, 38, and her husband, Spencer Pratt, lost their home in the fire, according to an initial Instagram post shared by Spencer’s sister, Stephanie Pratt, on January 7. Heidi and Spencer, 41, share children Gunnar, 7, and Ryker, 2.

Heidi revealed that in a panic, her priority when packing up their lives was “the kids’ stuff.”

“So I got their teddy bears. I randomly had, from the tooth fairy, Gunner’s teeth that he left in my closet, so I grabbed that,” she explained. “I grabbed a few documents that we had – those pre-packed [ones] from years ago from the [previous] fires. I grabbed two pairs of jeans and two shirts. I grabbed a pair of shoes — a random pair of sneakers.”

In the couple’s haste, they also were forced to leave a multitude of beloved items behind — items that are now destroyed. One item, Spencer explains, was a special Christmas present he had convinced his wife to purchase for herself.

“She got herself nothing,” he told Us. “Then, right before Christmas, she got herself these Golden Goose shoes in the Palisade Village. It was her big gift. I was like, ‘Just get your Golden Goose.’ She didn’t.

Heidi explained that she thought she would be able to “be back for them.”

“It hit me at the end of packing that I might not come back,” she added. “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I need to go in the kids’ room and I need to grab their bears. And I had Gunner, he had a 104 fever — he had that for days — and I was just so preoccupied with him … [I was] just grabbing things and worrying and aimlessly wandering.”
In addition to her new shoes, Heidi said she wishes she had grabbed “photos” that she explained she can no longer get back.

“I have no photos,” she said. “I have all these photo albums that I made fo rSpencer before there was Instagram and TikTok and iPhone. These photos [that] I’ll never have again. All these sentimental things are just gone, you know?”

To date, the Palisades, Eaton and other smaller fires have burned a combined 38,600 acres, according to NBC News. At least 27 people have died and 12,000 structures have been destroyed. Multiple celebrities, including Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Paris Hilton and Miles Teller, lost their homes in the blaze.

For Heidi and Spencer, it’s not the “stuff” they miss as much as it is their community.

“I miss our friends. I miss our daily life. I miss dropping my son off at school there. I miss our whole world and I’m so sad for all of our friends,” she tells Us through tears. “I’m so sad for our entire community. It’s not just our loss — it’s literally the loss of our city; a community that we all are such an active part of.”

She continued, “[It’s] just the daily routine [that] you miss — waking up in your bed with your mirrors and your pillows and the smells of your house and the children. It’s so hard.”

Jamie Foxx was Cameron Diaz’s “biggest cheerleader” on the set of Back in Action.

According to director Seth Gordon, Foxx, 57, was a major supporter of Diaz, 52, during her return to acting with Netflix’s Back in Action, her first film in over a decade. “Anyone who was on set will tell you he was the biggest cheerleader and hype man for her, and really for everybody involved, but especially for her,” Gordon, 48, told People in an interview published on Saturday, January 18.

Gordon also addressed Foxx’s medical emergency in April 2023, which interrupted filming on the Netflix project, noting that Diaz was able to “spiritually” support her costar when he returned to set.

“She got to return the favor in that way spiritually,” Gordon told the outlet. “It was a very unusual situation to navigate, but it makes a big difference when they have this old friendship, and it’s coming from such a good place.”

Both Foxx and Diaz have worked together previously, starring together in 2014’s Annie — Diaz’s last film before Back in Action. They first shared the screen in Any Given Sunday in 1999.

Diaz, however, took a step back from acting in 2018 to focus on her family. She and husband Benji Madden, whom she wed in 2015, welcomed daughter Raddix in 2019 and son Cardinal in 2024. A source told Us Weekly earlier this month that Diaz’s decision to act again “evolved over time,” adding, “It wasn’t sudden.”

“Only you could get me back in action,” Diaz wrote of Foxx via Instagram in June 2022 when their new film was first announced. Another source told Us that while filming Back in Action, Foxx and Diaz were “constantly laughing on set,” noting they share a similar sense of humor “and their chemistry is unmatched.”

In an August 2022 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Foxx shared that he had promised Diaz they would have fun on set, which ultimately convinced her to come back to acting.

“So it was literally, ‘Do you wanna have some fun? Just have some fun!’ And I think that’s what brought her to it,” he said at the time. “We miss special moments sometimes in our business, and I think this is a special moment. So we’re so happy that it’s happening and looking forward to it.”

Despite the fun she and Foxx had on the Back in Action set, the actress said in a December 2024 interview with Empire that it was “hard to say” whether she’d do another movie after. “I reserve the right to say no to doing a movie ever again, and I reserve the right to say yes if I decide to,” she said.

Back in Action is now streaming on Netflix.

The Kansas City Chiefs gave a subtle nod to the Mahomes family and their newest addition ahead of the team’s first NFL playoff game of the season.

“QB1’s looking Golden,” the Chiefs posted on X on Saturday, January 18. The post featured video of starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes arriving at Arrowhead Stadium as the team prepares to take on the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, responded to the sweet tribute, re-sharing the OG post in her Instagram Story while writing, “The caption” along with one big eyed and one ugly crying emoji.

Mena Massoud is counting down the days until he and fiancée Emily Shah tie the knot — twice.

“It’s been fun! Emily’s doing a lot of the planning,” Massoud, 33, exclusively told Us Weekly at the New York City screening of his new movie Wish You Were Here presented by The Cinema Society on Wednesday, January 15. “She’s asking me lots of questions and I’m doing a little bit, but we took a break during the holidays. We didn’t do anything planning-wise and now we’re getting started in a big way ’cause the wedding’s in July.”

The actor proposed to Shah, 30, in December 2023 during a vacation in Japan. They will have two wedding ceremonies in honor of their respective religious backgrounds.

“We’re doing three days, but really two days,” Massoud explained on Wednesday. “We’re doing a Hindu ceremony for Emily and then we’re doing a Coptic Christian ceremony the next day for me, [which] would be like a typical Western wedding. So, I think we got a little bit of everything.”

“She wanted to just be friends, but I wanted more,” Massoud recalled to HELLO! Indo-Arabia in May 2024.

One year earlier, Massoud told WZRA TV that he and Shah “talked for a while before” they started dating.

“I knew Em for about a year before,” he said in 2023. “So, I guess she made the first move and then I made a move. It all worked out in the end. I think the best relationships often start that way — you get to know the person but sometimes nothing happens right away [until] it all falls apart.”

Immediately, Massoud thought Shaw was “beautiful and wanted to get to know her” better.

“I’ve done a few romantic comedies [and] lighthearted movies and it was clear this was gonna be intense from reading the book and reading the script,” he explained. “But, I wanted to do that as an actor. He added, “Julia makes it feel so easy. She really stretched me and really taught me a lot.”

Saturday marked the first Chiefs playoff game of the 2024-2025 NFL season. After clinching the No. 1 seed in the AFC, the team earned home-field advantage and a bye week for the wild card round, which took place the previous weekend. The Chiefs are vying for a three-peat after winning the Super Bowl in 2023 and 2024. If they are successful, they would become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

Swift has consistently appeared in-person to cheer for Kelce throughout the Chiefs’ season. While she opted not to attend any away games during the regular season, she was present for every home game except a December 2024 match-up against the Los Angeles Chargers, which coincided with her final Eras Tour concert in Vancouver.

She braved frigid temperatures in Kansas City when the Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins in the wild card round in January 2024. After the team bested the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game in Baltimore later that month, Swift celebrated with Kelce on the field at M&T Bank Stadium.

Olivia Rodrigo is seemingly still feeling “so American” next to boyfriend Louis Partridge — especially during their most recent New York City date.

Rodrigo and Partridge, both 21, were spotted enjoying a romantic stroll around Greenwich Village on Friday, January 17. The actor was seen walking alongside Rodrigo, wrapping an arm around her lower back.

Both the Grammy winner and Partridge dressed casually for the outing. Rodrigo sported a striped shirt underneath a quilted black coat with blue trousers and a pair of sunglasses. Partridge, meanwhile, opted for a black buttoned jacket and khakis.

The couple have been dating since fall 2023 after they were spotted packing on the PDA in Partridge’s native London. Since then, the couple have kept their romance relatively low-key and out of the public eye.

“Dating probably shouldn’t be done in the public eye,” Partridge told British Vogue in a March 2024 profile. “There’s enough going on between two people. He added at the time, “If there’s a load of people nattering in a room about you, you can choose to put your ear to the door to hear what they say or not. I think you’re probably better off not letting curiosity get the better of you.”

Partridge has since been a staple at Rodrigo’s concerts in the United States and across the pond. She’s returned the favor by supporting his career achievements when they made their red carpet debut at the August 2024 premiere of his show Disclaimer during the Venice International Film Festival.

The necklace, of course, was a nod to Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, who wears number 87 for the Kansas City Chiefs. The back-to-back Super Bowl champs are expected to make their third consecutive appearance at this year’s Super Bowl. If they win, they’ll become the first NFL team to ever win three consecutive championships. 

 

 

“My president is a huge Chiefs fan, so she was watching the games last December,” Gottlieb  explained during the same interview. “[They] texted me on a Sunday night and was like, ‘If you want to do your varsity lettering … we need to do it now, and you need to make one for Taylor and send it to her.” 

The team had no idea if Swift would like the necklace, and the singer’s stylist made it clear that she couldn’t make any promises. “And then at 2 p.m. the day of the Super Bowl, I see a blurry screen grab from TV of her walking through the tunnel wearing the necklace, and it was just the most wild flurry of things.”

In an interview on The Stephen A. Smith Show on Wednesday, January 15, Kelce told the show’s host that the singer is a big reason why he’s still enthusiastic about football. “She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” he said. “She loves coming to Arrowhead [Stadium] and coming to the games and cheering for me, so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”

“That’s why I wanted to be at [her] concerts supporting her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she’s doing in life,” he added.

Christopher Walken has fond memories of dancing with both Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli.

Walked, 81, appeared on SiriusXM’s “Town Hall,” hosted by Andy Cohen, on Thursday, January 16, where Cohen, 56, asked, “I read you danced with a young Liza Minnelli. Do you remember that?”

Walken replied, “We did an Off-Broadway musical called Best Foot Forward. 1962. Well, she was 16 years old, I remember.” At the time, Walken would have been about 19 years old. Cohen followed up by asking the Dune: Part Two star, “Could you see it then that she had it?”

Walken said, “Oh, absolutely.” He shared that he had even been invited to Minnelli’s 16th birthday party, where he had a special moment with Garland, his costar’s mother. “Her mom gave a sweet 16 birthday party for her,” he added.

“I remember I danced with Judy Garland,” he continued, adding that the Wizard of Oz actress was not only a good dancer, but “very good looking.”

Walken’s acting career is diverse, spanning both the stage and screen. He is currently starring in the AppleTV+ series Severance, which premiered its second season on Friday, January 17. In a 2014 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Minnelli praised her Best Foot Forward costar as a true musical actor.

“I can see the glint in his eye every time he has the opportunity to dance on screen,” she said at the time. Walken seemingly agreed with Minnelli, telling the outlet, “I’m kind of an actor by way of musical comedy. That’s really my education, musicals.”

With a career spanning almost seven decades, Walken is an old school kind of guy, even when it comes to watching his own projects. Currently starring on Severance, Walken shared on Thursday’s “Town Hall” that he hasn’t seen every episode because he does not stream the series. Instead, he receives DVDs of each new episode.

Walken currently stars in season 2 of Severance alongside Adam Scott, Britt Lower and Patricia Arquette. Series creator Dan Erickson previously opened up about his plans for the show’s second installment when it was renewed in April 2022.

“In season 2, we’re going to be showing all of these people on the outside,” Erickson told Entertainment Weekly at the time. “Similar to Mark (Scott), they each had their own reason for getting this procedure, and they’re all at some stage of a healing process for one thing or another.”
