Taylor Swift Subpoenaed in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

Taylor Swift has been subpoenaed in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s ongoing legal battle, but a representative for the singer has slammed the lawyers for involving her client.

“Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film,” the rep said in a statement to Us Weekly on Friday, May 9. “She did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.”

The spokesperson added, “The connection Taylor had to this film was permitting the use of one song, ‘My Tears Ricochet.’ Given that her involvement was licensing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift’s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.”

Days prior to the official subpoena, Lively’s lawyer Mike Gottlieb slammed Baldoni’s legal team for planning to subpoena Swift, 35, and possibly Hugh Jackman. “This is a case about what happened to Blake Lively when she raised claims of sexual harassment on the set,” he said in an interview with People published Thursday, May 8. “It’s not a case about how songs were chosen for the movie. It’s not a case about fictional Marvel characters in Deadpool movies.”

Everything the 'It Ends With Us' Cast Said About Taylor Swift's Influence

“You have to ask the question, then, why are these people being subpoenaed?” he continued. “Do they have any actual relevance to the case at hand? You can’t just go around subpoenaing people because they’re famous and you think it will generate a bunch of headlines. And the federal courts don’t tolerate that kind of behavior.”

Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman responded to Gottlieb’s comments by saying, “Although obviously uncomfortable for the Lively parties, the truth is not a distraction. The truth has been clearly shown through unedited receipts, documents and real life footage. More to come. Blake was the one who brought her high-profile friends into this situation without concern for their own personal or public backlash. As the truth shows, she used her Dragons to manipulate Justin at every turn.”

In a March issue of Us Weekly, a source exclusively shared that Swift “wasn’t happy with being brought into the legal mess.” While the insider noted that Swift does not want to be part of the case, a separate source told Us in January that the Grammy winner and Lively are still pals.

“There’s no truth that this has hurt their relationship,” the second insider shared. “They are still close friends.”

Lively and Baldoni’s legal battle went public in December 2024 when Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her former costar and director. In the legal docs, Lively claimed Baldoni and his team cited Swift as an example of the “weaponization of feminism” in their alleged plan to launch a smear campaign against her.

In a text featured in Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Lively’s publicist Leslie Sloane, Baldoni claimed Swift and Reynolds gave input on a rooftop scene between his and Lively’s characters. “Was working on rooftop scene today, I really love what you did. It really does hep [sic] a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor),” his text read in legal docs obtained by Us in January.

Both Lively and Baldoni and their teams have vehemently denied each other’s accusations, including Lively’s sexual harassment allegations against Baldoni and the director’s claims that Lively attempted to take over creative control of It Ends With Us, among many others on both sides.

The pretrial discovery period is currently underway. A trial date has been set for March 9, 2026.

Joy Behar Play Sparks Speculation About Pregnant Actress Who Was Cheated On

Joy Behar’s My First Ex-Husband play has fans questioning which famous actress experienced a shocking cheating scandal.

During the Thursday, May 8, showing of the Off-Broadway hit, actress Benja K. Thomas played a famous television actress whose husband cheated on her while she was pregnant and later nursing the baby.

She found out her man was unfaithful after searching through his camera and finding sexual photos. The unknown actress confronted the other woman and then dumped her husband before going on to find more success in Hollywood.

“After the show, everyone was chattering about who it could be and how amazing it is that this big star told Joy the story and let her use it,” an audience member exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Friday, May 9. “I guess after years on The View, she’s met everyone and is super connected.”

Stars on Broadway: Celebrities Who've Taken the Stage

If there was any doubt that the story is true, the creators of My First Ex-Husband promise every 90-minute series of monologues will provide “bold and heartfelt adaptations of true stories.”

“With razor-sharp wit and no filters, [the show] explores the messy, hilarious truths of love, sex and relationships,” the creators stated online.

When asked which famous actress inspired the specific pregnant mom story in My First Ex-Husband, Behar, 82, exclusively told Us, “It’s a famous person who often makes me laugh.”

Ever since My First Ex-Husband opened for previews on January 29, attendees have been treated to wild — and totally true — stories of women finding out their man is not exactly who they thought they were.

Us has learned discussions for a national and international tour are in the works. In addition, Behar is also working on more monologues and stories to include to keep the show fresh.

While a pregnant actress being cheated on may be enough for some fans to buy a ticket, another story often featured in My First Ex-Husband is about an over-sexed husband who wants to have constant sex with his wife.

Jason Sudeikis Reacts to Joy Behar's Claim She Was Offered ‘Ted Lasso’

While many attendees leave the theater thinking the story isn’t true, Us has learned it absolutely is an accurate, real story.

“I’ve always been fascinated by why people get married and why people get divorced,” Behar explained via Instagram while explaining how the play’s concept came to be. “This is an interesting subject for me. I’m divorced myself so I have a little bit of expertise in the area.”

Jessie James Decker on Her ACM Awards Wardrobe Malfunction: ‘My Boobs Are Big!’

When Jessie James Decker graced the crimson rug at the American Country Music Awards on Thursday, May 8, she hit a sartorial high note in a gold-sequinned showstopper by Retrofête.

Before the country pop superstar and the New York Times best-selling author hosted the red carpet, she spoke to Us Weekly exclusively as she got gussied up for country music’s big night.

“[This is] so much fun!” she gushed to Us. “I haven’t been to an awards show in a hot minute. The last time I was early-on pregnant with Denver, (her adorable 15-month-old, who she shares with her husband, Eric, along with their three older children: Vivianne, 10, Eric Jr., 8, and Forrest, 6). “So this is my first one back in a while. We’re glamming up, getting ready.”

While sitting pretty in her suite at the Hall Park Hotel, Decker, 37, sipped on Mountain Valley Spring Water (a.k.a. the official water of the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards). The boost of hydration added to her lit-from-within glow as she chatted up chart-topping artists, including the award nominees, before the ceremony aired live via Amazon Prime on Thursday.

2025 ACM Awards Red Carpet Fashion: Kelsea Ballerini, Reba, LeAnn Rimes

She also revealed that the aforementioned gold dress she donned on Thursday was actually her second choice, as the one she had chosen (a green Alex Perry design) broke at the last minute.

Decker took it in stride. “It’s funny; I had a cute green dress to match Mountain Valley Water, and it busted. My boobies are too big, I guess, so that was awesome,” she said in her signature deadpan sense of humor. “So I always, no matter what, bring a backup outfit.”

“I’ve been through way too many scenarios where I wish I had,” she continued. “The zipper busted in the back because it fit my waist and my hips really well. It was just, like, my boobs are big.”

This was hardly Decker’s first red carpet rodeo, and even the most seasoned celebrities have suffered a wardrobe malfunction mere hours before high-profile events, like the ACM Awards.

“I always like to be super prepared for those scenarios!” Decker said with a laugh.

Just ask the singer herself, who was quick to admit: “So, I’ve actually had that happen once where the back busted. [Eric] had to give me his coat, and I had to wear it the rest of the night.”

It may have been her second choice, but the metallic Retrofête column was a 2025 ACM Awards red-carpet style win, complete with intricate embellishments and sheer panels, a bold back slit and barely-theres straps. It fit like a glove and hugged her enviable figure in all the right places.

“The backup dress is pretty and very classic,” she said as her team put the finishing touches on her awards night beauty look, which was admittedly flawless. “I think [the gold] will look pretty with the carpet setting. It’s going to pop really well. And I’m a gold girl. I love gold.”

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman Goof Around on ACM Awards Red Carpet

Given the high-shine garb, Decker was wise to opt for low-key glam. “Because the dress is gold, there’s a lot going on,” she explained. “I wanted to keep everything very effortless. I didn’t want an intense updo. I wanted to feel super natural and the makeup to feel like that, too.” (Think: soft, finger-raked waves, invisible foundation and a healthy swirl of peach-toned blush.)

Or as Decker put it, a brand of red-carpet glam that’s “super relaxed and kind of like we rolled out of bed.” She had legendary beauty references in mind, too. “I love a 1990s Cindy Crawford, bronzy J. Lo look,” the country pop singer shared. “That’s always my go-to. It just works for me.”

Southern Hospitality’s Emmy Sharrett and Will Kulp Are Engaged After 3 Years

Southern Hospitality stars Emmy Sharrett and Will Kulp are engaged — quieting haters and surprising fans.

The couple announced the big news via Instagram on Friday, May 9, sharing photos from the romantic proposal that took place on Monday, May 5.

Will, 31, popped the question while he and Emmy, 27, were on vacation just outside of Saint Tropez, France, at the Lily of the Valley Hotel, according to People.

“He is my best friend and soulmate,” Emmy gushed to the outlet of her now-fiancé. “I love that we get to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Will and Emmy are set to celebrate four years together this October after meeting at an F45 gym in Charleston, South Carolina. Will was Emmy’s trainer when they met, and they later became coworkers at Republic Garden & Lounge, which is how fans were introduced to them during season 1 of Southern Hospitality in 2022.

When the show premiered, Emmy was a VIP hostess at the nightclub run by Southern Charm’s Leva Bonaparte and Will was a bartender, preparing to go to law school.

Southern Hospitality’s Emmy Sharrett and Will Kulp’s Relationship Timeline

During their time on reality TV, Emmy and Will’s relationship has come under fire after the University of South Carolina law student was accused of infidelity. During season 2 of the series, Will was accused of kissing another woman but denied the allegations.

The couple faced similar claims during season 3, after Will allegedly hooked up with someone in a bathroom at law prom. Despite all the criticism, Emmy was adamant that Will was “110 percent” faithful to her.

“I do not believe Will cheated on me at all for one second,” Emmy exclusively told Us Weekly in January after being confronted on screen about the alleged infidelity.

While Will refused to speak about the cheating rumors on multiple occasions, he did take responsibility for speaking negatively about Emmy at Republic. (Will, however, chose to skip the season 3 reunion in February, leaving Emmy alone to defend their romance.)

“Will and I had our own conversation about it where he was incredibly apologetic and embarrassed, and he knew it was inappropriate,” Emmy explained to Us earlier this year.

Southern Hospitality’s Will Kulp Admits He Regrets Skipping Reunion

As Will and Emmy weathered backlash for how they navigated their relationship on camera, Emmy told Us she was confident he was The One.

“Will has a three-year plan because he’s in school, so it only makes sense to then build a plan off of that as far as our relationship goes,” she said in January, noting that “realistically this would be the year that he would propose.”

Emmy added that since Will graduates from law school in 2026 that the couple would most likely get married “summer [or] fall” of that year before he was a full-fledged attorney.

Maggie Gyllenhaal’s Daughter Arrested During Columbia Protests: Report

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard’s daughter, Ramona Sarsgaard, was arrested during the Columbia University protests.

The New York Post reported on Friday, May 9, that Ramona, 18, was arrested during the anti-Israel protests at the university on Wednesday, May 7. Police sources told the outlet that Ramona, who is a student at the institution, received a desk appearance ticket for criminal trespassing.

Ramona was one of nearly 80 people who were arrested while storming the school’s Butler Library on Wednesday evening. CNN reported that more than 65 Columbia students were on interim suspension pending further investigation. It is unclear if Ramona is one of the suspended students.

Neither Ramona nor her parents have publicly addressed the incident. Us Weekly has reached out to Gyllenhaal and Peter for comment.

Peter Sarsgaard Shares the 'Simple' Secret to Maggie Gyllenhaal Marriage

The protest at Columbia was a call to the university to divest from companies that have ties to Israel. NYPD was called in to help secure the library during the Wednesday night demonstration. Officials stated that two school safety officers were injured.

University president Claire Shipman released a statement following the incident.

“I spent the late afternoon and evening at Butler Library, as events were unfolding, to understand the situation on the ground and to be able to make the best decisions possible,” the statement read. “I arrived to see one of our Public Safety officers wheeled out on a gurney and another getting bandaged. As I left hours later, I walked through the reading room, one of the many jewels of Butler Library, and I saw it defaced and damaged in disturbing ways and with disturbing slogans. Violence and vandalism, hijacking a library — none of that has any place on our campus. These aren’t Columbia’s values.”

Gyllenhaal, 47, and Peter, 54, got engaged in 2006 and welcomed Ramona that same year. The couple tied the knot in 2009 in Italy. In 2012, Gyllenhaal and Peter expanded their family with daughter Gloria.

Gyllenhaal and Peter’s daughters have primarily stayed out of the limelight with the exception of a rare appearance with their parents. In September 2022, Gyllenhaal and Ramona enjoyed a girls’ trip to Paris Fashion Week. The mother-daughter duo attended a Dior fashion show. Before that, Ramona attended the 2021 Gotham Awards with her mom and dad.

Jake Gyllenhaal's 'Incredible' Nieces Inspired His New Children's Book

The actress previously opened up about how she and Peter divide parenting responsibilities, especially when they had to assist with their little one’s homework assignments.

“[Ramona] is really, like, a notably excellent student and there are places where I can really help her. I love to read her essays. … I studied literature. I love talking about the books she’s reading,” she recalled during a 2019 Q&A event. “My husband is really the music guy. He believes that learning to read music and learning to play music is just as important as learning anything else you learn in school. I can read music like a kindergartner. I don’t have the discipline, and he really does. He has taught both of my daughters how to play instruments.”

Kanye West's Alleged Cease and Desist to Kim Kardashian Is a 'Hoax'

UPDATE — 5/9/25 at 6:19 p.m. ET: News of Kanye West sending an alleged cease and desist to ex-wife Kim Kardashian appears to be false.

After breaking the news of the alleged memo on Friday, May 9, TMZ reported that West’s team informed the outlet that the letter was a “hoax” and the rapper had nothing to do with it.

TMZ initially reported on Friday that West, 47, reportedly sent Kardashian, 44 a “cease and desist” letter in an alleged breach of their custody arrangements over their children. West and Kardashian share daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 7, as well as sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 5.

The outlet claimed a lawyer named Kathy Johnson detailed many alleged “violations” — including bringing North to the Met Gala — that they claim breach the exes’ divorce settlement. Us Weekly had not been able to verify the legal documents despite multiple calls to lawyers’ offices.

Kanye West Rants About His Custody Situation With Kim: 'Not Seeing My Kids'

Kardashian has not publicly addressed the alleged letter. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.

Kardashian attended the 2025 Met Gala solo on Monday, May 5. While it is not known whether the preteen was waiting in a car during the soirée, Kardashian did reveal that North joined her in the Big Apple via both social media footage and red carpet interviews.

“Every time I come to the Met, I love bringing my oldest daughter with me,” Kardashian told Vogue on Monday. “To see me get ready, and all her aunties [Kendall and Kylie Jenner] are in the hotel, and we’re all getting ready together, so it’s just a fun few days.”

Since the Skims mogul’s split from West, she has previously defended North from her father including her daughter’s desire to post videos on the mother-daughter duo’s joint “Kim and North” account.

“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” Kardashian said in a February 2022 statement. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness. Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”

Everything Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Have Said About Coparenting

She added, “It is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way. I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately.”

Kardashian and West have joint legal and physical custody of their four children, though the Grammy winner claimed in his May letter that he “has been denied meaningful access,” including no contact with Saint.

West further accused Kardashian of exploiting the kids and their likenesses at public events without his consent for “personal or commercial gain.” He demanded that Kardashian stop posting photos of their children on all social media platforms, avoid bringing North to public events without his approval and “facilitate regular and unimpeded” access to North and her siblings.

Sydney Sweeney Used This $32 Serum from a Brooke Shields-Loved Brand for her Met Gala Glow

It’s easy to assume that every celeb’s glow is the result of high-end treatments (hi, vampire facials). But sometimes the secret is a whole lot simpler — and cheaper. Case in point: Sydney Sweeney at the 2025 Met Gala. Her skin look ethereal, and according to her makeup artist Melissa Hernandez, the luminous look started with this $32 glow serum on Amazon.

Before slipping into a beaded Miu Miu gown to honor Kim Novak — who she’ll portray in the upcoming Colman Domingo-directed biopic Scandalous — a source tells Us Sydney had her skin prepped with the Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum.

“For Sydney’s look this evening, I really wanted her skin to look glowy and hydrated,” Hernandez said. “Right before makeup, I added a few drops of the glowy makeup serum. It gives this gorgeous lit-from-within glow.” And radiant she was — like a walking Instagram filter, but IRL.

Sydney Sweeney Sparkles in $7,475 Earrings — But These Lookalikes Are Just $14

Sweeney is far from the only celeb who sings the praises of Laneige. Brooke Shields has been known to wear the K-beauty brand’s viral lip sleeping mask. There’s almost nothing this beloved brand can’t do!

What sets the Laneige glow serum apart is that it’s part skincare, part makeup primer. It’s formulated with diamond mineral powder to reflect light for that subtle, skin-like sheen, while ceramides and humectants keep skin hydrated without getting greasy.

This serum is basically the beauty equivalent of having a ring light follow you around all night. And unlike a lot of glow-inducing products, this one plays nicely under foundation and doesn’t pill or make your face feel like it’s melting.

Shoppers of all ages swear by it, too. One reviewer raved, “As we age, we lose that luminous glow to our skin…this serum makes my foundation look awesome. My complexion doesn’t look drab anymore but now has a healthy glow that lasts for hours. So ladies over 65, if you’re finding your foundation isn’t giving you that youthful finish anymore — try this serum!”

Another reviewer called it “perfect for a subtle glow” that doesn’t settle into fine lines. It’s rare to find a product that delivers across generations, but this one’s got range.

Whether you wear the serum under makeup or on its own, your skin will look like it got a full night’s sleep and a green juice. And since a little goes a long way, that $39 price tag ends up being a solid investment — especially if you’re chasing that “just got a facial” look without, you know, actually booking a facial.

So whether you’re heading to a black-tie gala or just want your skin to pop in the group chat selfie, the Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum is worth the buy. If it can help Sydney Sweeney shine brighter than a room full of diamonds at the Met Gala, imagine what it could do on a regular Tuesday.

What Megan Fox Thinks About a Romantic Future With ‘Good Dad’ MGK

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have grown closer since welcoming their daughter in March, but what does that mean for their romantic relationship?

The two are “absolutely not getting back together at this point in time,” a source tells Us Weekly exclusively, though Fox, 38, is “grateful” that MGK, 35, has been helpful after she gave birth to their daughter in March.

The baby lives full-time with Fox, who also shares sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, with ex Brian Austin Green. MGK shares daughter Casie, 15, with ex Emma Cannon.

While everything is by Fox’s rules, according to the source, MGK has been “coming and going,” staying over a few nights a week to help out. The two do not live together and their schedule is fluid, but Fox is the one who “makes the rules” and MGK is “very aware of this” as he wants to continue to be present and help with the baby.

Megan Fox 'Feels Renewed and Refreshed' After Welcoming Baby With MGK

MGK has also stopped bringing up the pair’s relationship status, as the insider says neither wants to rock the boat and both are “all about the baby.”

“Megan thinks MGK has stepped up and is being a good dad but doesn’t think they have a future together romantically,” the source explained. “Megan is in heaven with her baby girl and is really focused on being a mom right now.”

Fox and MGK met on the set of the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020 and became engaged two years later. They split shortly after Fox revealed her pregnancy in November 2024.

MGK announced the arrival of their daughter in a March 27 post via Instagram.

“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈♓♊3/27/25,” he wrote alongside a video of the newborn.

Megan Fox Has 'A Lot of Love' for MGK Despite 'Trust Issues': Sources

Since then, Fox has noticed a change in MGK as he made a “huge effort” to be a “great dad,” a source told Us in April. However, she remained fearful that “he will change again and be the guy she doesn’t know.”

“He has expressed he wants to make it work between them again, but she is not caving in,” the source shared of MGK. “Megan feels at peace and closed the door on the relationship.”

MGK, for his part, is focused on being a dad.

“The baby is already wrapped around his finger,” the insider added. “Megan has noticed his energy is different, the look in his eyes is different, his aura has changed. She feels the baby is exactly what he needed, and she is hoping it sticks.”

Diddy Trial Jurors Detail Past Petty Crimes in Wild Court Interactions

Sean “Diddy” Combs is on trial for very serious charges, but there have still been a few moments of levity in the courtroom — particularly with regard to jury selection.

As proceedings kicked off in New York City the week of Monday, May 5, Us Weekly was inside the courtroom as Judge Arun Subramanian questioned potential jurors, who will spend the next two months listening to testimony. In order to whittle down the contenders, the judge asked how much they knew about the case but also gathered info on what might cause jurors to express bias: their past crimes, for example, or whether they personally knew celebrities like Michael B. Jordan and Mike Myers.

The judge even added some humor himself, joking that the list of names and places involved in the case is as long as an appendix from The Lord of the Rings. He also laughed and quipped “shame on you” when Juror 55 confessed to having gotten a ticket for carrying an open container of alcohol.

Diddy, 55, was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him.

Diddy Trial's 1st Week Ends Without Finalizing Jury Selection

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Keep scrolling for some of the wildest juror interactions from the Diddy trial:

Juror 7

He was hesitant to take time off work having landed a new job last month. When the judge asked why he should be excused, he replied, “To pay my mortgage.”

Juror 8

When asked about past crimes, she said she was caught shoplifting a magic wand from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios and was banned for a year.

How Diddy's Trial Jury Will Be Chosen When Everyone Has Seen Cassie Footage

Juror 52

When asked whether the timeline would be a problem, she replied it might conflict with the Spirit Weavers Gathering in Oregon, which she has nonrefundable tickets for. She described the event as “some pretty artsy women in the woods.”

Juror 140

During a line of questioning about what media they consume, Juror 140 noted they watch “a lot more sports since the Mets became good again.”

Juror 143

This juror’s most recent brush with the law came about a week earlier, when they were accused of credit card theft.

The Judge, Jury and Lawyers in Diddy Case Explained

Juror 210

When the judge ordered him not to use marijuana during the trial, Juror 210 admitted he’d used it the night before and said it would be hard to go cold turkey for two months. In response, the judge quipped, “He was honest.”

Juror 220

This potential juror noted that his father runs a “canna-bus” company, so he has no bias toward drugs, and he’s an alum of Diddy’s high school (though he attended 30 years later). Juror 220 also earned the honor of explaining the concept of doom-scrolling to the judge, who replied, “I don’t really use social media.”

Juror 239

She once fainted when a teacher brought up oral sex and told her classmates that she fell asleep, so she was worried about the potentially explicit nature of the trial. She was dismissed.

Heather Rae El Moussa exclusively told Us Weekly that she’s making progress on her friendship with husband Tarek El Moussa’s ex-wife, Christina Haack.

“I think friendship is a very special thing, like being a friend. And I think we’re getting there, right? We’re opening up to each other about things,” Heather, 37, told Us while promoting her partnership with Orgain Clean Nutrition Products. “We help each other through things. We talk about personal things with each other and guide each other through things. So our friendship is developing even more and more.”

The trio recently collaborated on HGTV’s The Flip Off and spend even more time together with their blended family. Tarek shares daughter Taylor, born 2010, and son Brayden, born 2015, with Christina while he welcomed son Tristan with Heather in 2024.

Heather opened up to Us about the way she bonded with Christina through filming their HGTV show.

Tarek El Moussa on Working With Heather, Christina: 'How Did I Get Here?’

“It did [surprise me] because we talk about the kids. It’s school, school stuff and homework and discipline and sports, but then, we don’t know each other,” she said. “We didn’t know each other on a deeper level of who we are as individuals and filming a show together and being around each other more outside of just the children. [The Flip Off] got us to know each other on more of a friendship level.”

Christina shared via Instagram on Friday, May 9 that she attended an early Mother’s Day celebration alongside Heather at her son Brayden’s school.

“We got spoiled early for Mother’s Day by this cutie. Beautiful classroom tea party, sweet notes and lots of love,” Christina wrote. “Hope everyone has a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend as well!”

Elsewhere, Heather expressed interest in potentially teaming up with Christina if HGTV renews The Flip Off for a second season. The reality series pits Christina and Tarek — with their respective partners — against one another to see who makes the most money off house flipping. (Christina and estranged husband Joshua Hall split after filming The Flip Off and settled their divorce in May.)

“It’s an incredible show. We are very hands-on. We are executive producers. We helped create the show,” she told Us. “We started in the show, and there’s always trash talk with Tar and Christina, not so much me. I mean, it’s fun to gang up on my husband. He’s just easy and he has fun with it.”

The Selling Sunset alum added, “Christina and I, we’ve built a friendship throughout The Flip Off and we coparent together and Mother’s Day is coming up, which is exciting. We get to celebrate each other as mothers. But yeah, there’s always a little trash talk. It’s fun, but it’s healthy.”

Heather also chatted with Us about her focus on wellness and the way incorporating Orgain protein drinks into her and Tarek’s lifestyle has been beneficial.

Tarek El Moussa’s Wife Heather, Ex Christina Hall ‘Finally Agree’ in Skit

“Well, I think that health and wellness is so important and staying on top of it is even more important, and it’s really important in our household, making sure that we’re getting enough protein, making sure we’re getting enough nutrients,” she told Us. “Tarek is a workout freak. He loves it.”

She continued, “Tarek drinks the Orgain 30 gram protein shakes three times a day. Literally. It’s a non-negotiable in our household. Every single place we go and travel, we have to have the Orgain shakes in our hotel room. So our assistants will call ahead, order them ahead, put them in the room every night before bed. Tarek has his little peanut butter and jelly snack, and he has his Orgain protein shake. So non-negotiable for him. For me, Orgain has been a big part of my life because I am plant-based.”

Tyler Cameron Says Matt Is Still Licking His Wounds From Rachael Breakup

Tyler Cameron is weighing in on a series of Bachelor Nation topics with Us, including his friend Matt James’ breakup from Rachael Kirkconnell.

“I haven’t tried yet,” Cameron, 32, told Us Weekly when asked whether he’s set up James, 33, on any dates during an interview pegged to his partnership with Lubriderm. “I think you got to lick your wounds for a little bit first, and then you gotta put yourself back out there. We’re still early.”

Cameron added that James — who he has known since college — is doing well since he ended things with Kirkconnell, 28, in January.

While Cameron told Us that he’s “so out of the loop” with The Bachelor, he proved himself wrong with his reaction to the new Golden Bachelor Mel Owens.

Tyler Cameron Hangs Out With BFF Matt James’ Ex Rachael Kirkconnell

“I saw the announcement for it, and then I see this stud walking down the aisle for whatever event it was. It’s an NFL player, I think he’s a lawyer, I’m like, ‘Who is this guy?’ And he looks so amazing,” Cameron said, referring to Owens making his first appearance at Hulu’s inaugural Get Real house in April. “I’m like, this guy needs to be just the Bachelor, not the Golden Bachelor. I think he could pull anybody. And the comments too, were like, ‘Who is this man?’ I think he will have the women going crazy, and I think it’ll be fun to watch.”

Cameron noted that he is ready to “start watching” the franchise again after some distance from his 2019 season of The Bachelorette.

What Tyler Cameron Said About Rachael Kirkconnell and Matt James' Romance

“I find myself enjoying it more now that I’ve been kind of removed from it. I’ve been watching a lot more reality TV lately, and so I think I need to start giving it another shot by sitting down on Mondays and watching it,” he said.

While he wasn’t locked in on Grant Ellis’ season of The Bachelor earlier this year, he still made a TikTok in support of Ellis’ runner-up, Litia Garr, since Cameron knows what it’s like to be the second choice who fans were rooting for to win. After showing his empathy toward Garr, Cameron revealed he was unfollowed by Ellis.

“It’s all fun and games,” Cameron told Us after confirming that they haven’t talked.

When it comes to Cameron’s love life, he hinted that he found The One in girlfriend Tate Madden, whom he recently worked with on a campaign for Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion Fragrance Free.

“Lubriderm just makes it easy,” he told Us. “[It has] all things that you need in a relationship — trust, affordability, availability. You can pick it up anywhere … It’s 24-hour care.”

3 Great Free Movies You Should Stream This Weekend (May 9-11)

If your weekend plans include some time chilling on the couch — and we hope, for your sake, that they do — you’ll need a perfect movie to entertain you while you relax.

Luckily, YouTube has a surprisingly large library of movies available to watch for free with ads — no subscription needed.

Check out these three hit movies that Watch With Us is recommending for the weekend of May 9.

They’re all available on YouTube, and they’re all free to watch — for now.

‘Catch Me If You Can’ (2002)

Inspired by his memoir of the same name, Catch Me If You Can is the story of Frank Abagnale Jr., a criminal who claims to have performed cons worth millions of dollars by writing phony checks and posing as a pilot, a doctor and more in the 1960s.

10 Best Comedy Movies on Hulu Right Now (April 2025)

Though the true story behind Abagnale’s memoir has been disputed since the movie was released, the Steven Spielberg-directed film is incredibly entertaining. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Frank, while Tom Hanks plays Carl Hanratty, the FBI agent tasked with tracking him down. The ever-evolving relationship between agent and crook makes for a highly enjoyable game of cat and mouse. Frank concocts ever-escalating schemes to escape Carl’s clutches, and Carl reluctantly grows more and more fond of the clever young man.

Hanks and DiCaprio are two of the most magnetic performers of the 21st century, and their playfully adversarial relationship is the heart of this fun, breezy movie. Whatever the true story of Abagnale Jr. may be, Catch Me If You Can is by far the most enjoyable version.

‘Hairspray’ (2007)

In a musical mood? Head on down to 1960s Baltimore by watching Hairspray, the clever and poignant musical based on John Waters’ movie of the same name. Tracy Turnblad (Nikki Blonsky) is an overweight teenage girl with a big heart, big hair and big dreams. Her goal: to become one of the dancers on The Corny Collins Show, a local daytime TV program (James Marsden plays the smooth-talking host, while Michelle Pfeiffer is the venomous station manager). Her parents, played by Christopher Walken and John Travolta (in female drag), doubt that she’ll be accepted as a star because of her weight, but Tracy’s determination and talent soon get her in front of the camera.

It also helps her catch the attention of the dreamy Link Larkin (Zac Efron). But once she’s in the public eye, Tracy’s own eyes are opened to the injustices of segregation. With help from Link and her best friend Penny (Amanda Bynes), she joins DJ “Motormouth” Maybelle Stubbs (Queen Latifah) and her kids to fight for integration.

3 Underrated Thrillers You Should Watch in May 2025

Don’t let the musical numbers and bright colors fool you — this is a musical about prejudice and standing up for what’s right. It’s an inspirational good time, and the songs will stick with you like, well, hairspray.

‘Get Out’ (2017)

If you saw Sinners last weekend and you’re craving another insightful horror film with a fascinating take on race in America, your first watch should be the groundbreaking Get Out. Jordan Peele’s brilliant thriller is always smart, often funny, and constantly disturbing in the best way. When Chris (Daniel Kaluuya), a Black photographer, goes to spend the weekend with his white girlfriend Rose’s (Allison Williams) family, he discovers something sinister that’s underbeath their friendly exterior.

18 New Movies to Watch This Weekend on Netflix, Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime, More

Get Out is one of those amazing films where you notice some new, brilliant detail on every viewing, so if you’ve seen it before, keep an eye out for foreshadowing. If you’re watching it for the first time, be ready. Your nightmares may end up more thought-provoking than usual.

Which Broadcast TV Shows Are Still Not Renewed?

The TV renewals and cancellations are rolling in ahead of upfronts week — but which shows continue to hang in limbo?

ABC has been renewing shows left and right including High Potential, Shifting Gears and more. Doctor Odyssey, however, has remained on the bubble ahead of its season finale. There has been speculation that the quickly Ryan Murphy-led series is too costly to pick up for more seasons.

Doctor Odyssey follows Joshua Jackson‘s character, Dr. Max Bankman, on his journey to becoming the new onboard doctor of the Odyssey, a cruise ship helmed by Captain Massey (Don Johnson). The show — which also stars Phillipa Soo and Sean Teale — hasn’t been afraid to push boundaries with wild story lines and a revolving door of star-studded cameos.

“[Cocreator] Ryan [Murphy]’s imagination is prolific and bizarre in its ability to hold [space] for the absolutely grotesque and absurd — and then there are his lighter and happier shows. All of that being inside of one man’s imagination is amazing,” Jackson exclusively told Us Weekly in March. “I will say that for myself, I have wanted to work for Ryan for quite a long time.”

ABC Renews 5 More Shows — But What About 'Doctor Odyssey'?

Jackson praised the creative storytelling ideas, adding, “Ryan’s word was sparkle. He said, ‘Make sure that my show sparkles.’ And we have tried to make sure that this show sparkles as much as possible and just hope that the joy that we feel in performing it and doing it all together is what comes across while you’re watching it.”

Then there’s The Hunting Party on NBC, which stars Melissa Roxburgh and is a crime procedural about investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers in the country. The twist? The criminals escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.

Roxburgh is playing Bex, an ex-FBI agent recruited to the task force due to her reputation as a profiler who caught the world’s most dangerous serial killers. She must work with the warden of the prison, who turns out to be her former partner and ex-boyfriend Oliver. Their last mission took a turn when Oliver murdered the criminal they were chasing down and Bex can’t figure out whether she trusts Oliver now.

NBC’s procedural relies on unexpected twists — and Roxburgh hasn’t always been in the know. “I kind of go back and forth. There are some days where I’m so overwhelmed by what’s currently happening in the scripts and making sure that I have my lines down or trying to understand it,” she told Us in February. “Then there are some easier days where I’m like, ‘I’m going to go be nosy to the showrunner now because I want to find out what happens.’ As the series went on with the mystery, I did start to get a little more curious.”

Keep scrolling for a breakdown of which shows still need to be renewed — or canceled — as they remain in limbo for now:

Bravo Addresses Report 'RHONY' Was 'Canceled'

Bravo is busting a big rumor in the Big Apple.

After reports questioning the future of The Real Housewives of New York City began to surface online, with Page Six reporting that there were no “firm plans” for the franchise to continue, the network chose to set the record straight.

“Nothing is official,” a Bravo spokesperson told Us Weekly on Friday, May 9. “The show hasn’t been canceled.”

Bravo’s reaction comes days after Bravo announced its upcoming slate of programming on Wednesday, May 7, with a mix of returning shows and new additions.

‘RHONY’ Producers Are Looking for New Cast Members: Source

While several Housewives franchises were picked up for another season, including The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of Potomac and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, The Real Housewives of New York City was noticeably missing.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey was also missing from the renewal list, but fans are aware the show has been on pause since season 14 wrapped in August 2024.

Earlier this week, several cast members from The Real Housewives of New York City reunited for a friendly dinner.

After the group — consisting of Sai de Silva, Jenna Lyons, Erin Lichy, Ubah Hassan, Racquel Chevremont and Jessel Taank — posed for a photo, one cast member reflected on the group’s bond. (It’s unclear if fellow costar Brynn Whitfield was invited to the dinner.)

“Over the past three years, I’ve learned how to navigate and nurture the unique dynamics of our #RHONY friendship group,” Sai, 44, wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday. “We’re more than just castmates — we’re real-life friends who have bonded through an experience that only we truly understand. I’m eternally grateful to ride this wild journey with these incredible women.”

After one fan questioned Sai if the show was canceled, she replied.

RHONY’s Sai Recalls Thinking There Are ‘Some Red Flags’ With Brynn Whitfield

“I’m also confused by everyone being confused,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday. “I was just expressing my gratitude for my castmates who have become close friends. Nothing is canceled. I’m not leaving the show and nothing is wrong. It was purely me showing appreciation for a great group of women. It was a positive post.”

In March, Us Weekly caught up with Raquel, 53, and asked about any plans for season 16. At the time, she had no news to report.

“Everybody’s asking, but I have no clue,” she said at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. “We just wait and see. I’ll find out probably around the same time you do. I would love to be filming with all the ladies.”

Andy Cohen Hints Rhode Island Housewives Could Fill NJ Void: 'Very Italian'

Andy Cohen predicted the cast of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island will recapture the chaotic and volatile spirit of The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s table-flipping glory.

“[The Rhode Island cast] are very Italian,” Cohen, 56, told Page Six in an interview published on Wednesday, May 7. “Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap, and it’s an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections. I think it’s going to really surprise people.”

Bravo has yet to confirm casting details — though there have been some suggestions and predictions — but Cohen insisted his team picked impressive Housewives to represent the Ocean State. The Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host acknowledged that the cast “does kind of remind [him] of early Jersey in a weird way.”

Cohen pointed out that the Rhode Island Housewives are “more Italian” than their Jersey counterparts and each have “deep families.” Italian families were represented strongly through the early seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey with its focus on the Giudices, Gorgas and Manzos.

An official Bravo synopsis for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island promised lots of drama “set against the shores of the Ocean State.”

“The Real Housewives franchise expands into the world of a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations,” Bravo teased. “With aspirational lives, thriving businesses and tangled family dynamics, these decade-long friendships prove that in a state this small, there’s no escaping your past … or each other.”

As for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Bravo has taken a longer-than-usual break in filming following the contentious conclusion of season 14. For the first time in the franchise’s history, there was no traditional reunion for RHONJ last year — the alliances within the cast were instead split into two rooms to review footage from the season, with Dolores Catania alternating between rooms to offer commentary.

Frustrated Andy Cohen Tells Disgruntled 'RHONJ' Fan We'll 'Reboot' the Show

The RHONJ cast became bitterly divided over the past few seasons, as O.G. cast member Teresa Giudice and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga refused to engage with one another. Us Weekly exclusively reported in February that Bravo had made no decisions about the future of RHONJ — and the series was subsequently missing from the network’s renewal announcements this week, along with The Real Housewives of New York City. (Bravo told Us on Friday, May 9 that RHONY was “not canceled” and no plans are “official.”)

While the future of RHONJ seemingly hangs in the balance, Teresa exclusively told Us Weekly in March that it was “relaxing” to take a break from the show. Her costar Dolores had a completely different take on the reality show’s hiatus.

“At least [when you’re filming] you’re running on the adrenaline of what you have to do and what’s expected of you,” Catania, 54, told Us. “And then all of a sudden it’s like, ‘Wait, it’s been a while now since I’ve done that.’ And then it’s, like, you go through a little thing — almost like a breakup.”

Us Weekly's Unhinged Alternatives to a 'RHONJ' Season 14 Reunion

She went on, “I feel like a relationship breakup. You take a little break and then you’re like, okay, I want to start going again.”

Teresa’s RHONJ nemesis Margaret Josephs exclusively told Us Weekly in March that she was enjoying “a welcome break” from the drama of shooting the Bravo series.

“It’s relaxing. It’s fun, but, of course, I’d love to go back,” she told Us, before adding, “I love everybody to work and have a successful career. I think some friendships have gone past where they belong. And you know what? If it’s not me [on RHONJ next season], then that’s fine too.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans can rewatch all previous seasons on Peacock. The Real Housewives of Rhode Island doesn’t yet have a Bravo release window.

3 Underrated Hulu Movies to Watch This Weekend (May 9-11)

Hulu is one of the few streamers that consistently adds movies throughout the month. No massive first-of-the-month title dumps for this streamer; instead, Hulu likes to spread the wealth around week to week.

This weekend, Watch With Us highlights some older movies that just made their Hulu debuts in May.

The first selection is an already forgotten 2025 horror movie that’s surprisingly good, while another pick is a Robert De Niro drama about Navy diving. (Yes, really.)

Last but not least, we recommend a biopic starring Jennifer Lawrence that earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress in 2016.

‘The Damned’ (2024)

Hollywood typically releases two kinds of movies in January: cheap horror films and action movies starring Jason Statham or Gerard Butler. The Damned belongs in the former category, a creepy shocker about a small village town driven to desperate measures due to a harsh winter that depletes their food supply. To make matters worse, a shipwreck brings more mouths to feed and rumors of undead creatures called draugr stalking the shore.

Is the village under a supernatural curse? Or is something more sinister at play? Eva (Odessa Young), the film’s main protagonist, needs to find out fast before everyone she loves dies from starvation or something much worse.

Like Lamb and The Lighthouse, The Damned conjures up a spooky atmosphere filled with foggy landscapes and dark corners. The film effectively invokes an existential dread that pays off in its spectacular ending, which is straight out of a M. Night Shyamalan film.

The Damned is streaming on Hulu.

‘Men of Honor’ (2000)

All Carl Brashear (Cuba Gooding Jr.) wants to do is be a diver for the U.S. Navy. That goal may seem modest today but it was almost impossible in 1949, when Carl joined the maritime service branch. But because Carl is Black, he encounters resistance within the establishment, and his only ally is Master Chief Billy Sunday (Robert De Niro). Can Carl and Billy overcome the odds to realize Carl’s dreams of becoming the first Black American Navy diver?

Men of Honor is a solid drama that tells a story most people don’t know about. Carl’s journey from a poor sharecropper in Kentucky to a Navy diver is fascinating, and the film convincingly evokes the 1950s period in full detail. Gooding Jr. gives his best lead performance as Carl, and Charlize Theron has some nice moments as Billy’s ignored wife, Gwen.

Men of Honor is streaming on Hulu.

‘Joy’ (2015)

The world probably didn’t need a biopic about the inventor of the Miracle Mop, but it got one anyway in 2015 with David O. Russell’s Joy. Jennifer Lawrence stars as Joy Mangano, a struggling New Yorker with an unemployed ex-husband (Édgar Ramirez) who still lives in her basement and a family who doesn’t value her as much as she’d like. That soon changes when Joy invents the Miracle Mop, a self-cleaning mop that quickly becomes a bestseller in grocery stores. But family troubles, coupled with a shady manufacturer who wants to steal profits from her, complicate Joy’s life and her path to success.

The pleasure of Joy is in the details. Although the film’s rags-to-QVC-riches story isn’t all that compelling, Joy works better as a gentle dramedy of blue-collar life in 1990s America. Lawrence was nominated for an Oscar for her work here, and she fully deserved it for making Mangano a complicated, sometimes difficult hero to root for. Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro stand out among the film’s unconventional supporting cast, which includes Melissa Rivers playing her mother, Joan Rivers.

Joy is streaming on Hulu.

Scheana Shay Cries While Discussing Struggle With Depression

Scheana Shay got very emotional while getting candid about her recent struggle with depression.

“I have really just been feeling depressed the last six months. It was something that I kept trying to just mask and say, ‘No, I’m fine. It’ll go away,'” Shay, 40, revealed on the Friday, May 9, episode of her “Scheananigans” podcast. “But it all started around The Masked Singer.”

Shay, 40, recalled having reservations about joining the Fox competition show.

“I got asked to do the show. I immediately was like, ‘Hard pass, absolutely not.’ I didn’t care how much money they’re paying me. I was not going to go on another show on national television just to get made fun of,” she recalled. “This was something that was so far out of my comfort zone. That was so scary to go on a show that’s primetime national television.”

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast: Then and Now

Shay ultimately chose to participate as The Bat but was eliminated after singing one song: “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter. After her short stint on the show, Shay recalled her mental health taking a turn for the worse.

“I totally had a meltdown in my trailer. I’m like, ‘This is why I didn’t want to do this show. I’m not good enough. I get sent home first. Now everyone’s going to make fun of me,'” she said. “I just wanted to put myself out there.”

Shay didn’t realize at the time that she internalized her issues instead of addressing them, adding, “I just was like, ‘Maybe I up my meds a little bit.’ But then I started grinding my teeth a lot at night. So I’m like, ‘No, I’ll just go back to like 25 mg.’ As if that’s enough Zoloft for anyone. It’s not. I’ve learned that and I’m now at 75 mg and considering 100 mg.”

She continued: “In that time, I was able to talk to my psychiatrist and able to talk to my therapist. Then it’s the holidays. We’re getting into Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and then wildfires across Los Angeles.”

It was one “heavy month” after another for Shay. “It was just a few really heavy months emotionally. Then we’re in March and the show’s airing,” she explained. “Now I really need to focus on what’s been brewing and what’s going on. Because I felt like getting sent home first was part of it — but it couldn’t be all of it.”

‘Vanderpump Rules' Stars Who Left the Series: Where Are They Now?

Shay came to realize that the changes going on in her life — including her exit from Vanderpump Rules — affected her more than she realized.

“As excited as I am for this new chapter of my life — I got to film The Valley and be with all of my friends this past summer — it filled the void of not filming a season 12,” she said. “But then the show getting rebooted. It’s like, that’s a huge chapter of my life that now is just done. As happy as I was for honestly that chapter to be done, I’m like, ‘Wow, that’s been a huge part of my identity that now is just done.’ A combination of these things just led to me kind of going into a depression.”

The reality star’s decision to speak out was motivated by setting an example for others, adding, “Everything is great but mentally it hasn’t been. I just wanted to open up about that because I feel like you could have everything in the world and still not always feel completely happy. I just wanted to normalize it.”
