Kristin Davis Reveals Whether She Once Dated 'SATC' Costar Chris Noth

Kristin Davis is finally addressing the long-held speculation that she used to date Sex and the City costar Chris Noth.

Davis, 60, recently had rap star SZA on her “Are You a Charlotte?” podcast, where they discussed Noth’s turn on SATC.

“Charlotte was pro-Big, so I was pro-Big,” Davis said, referring to his turbulent romance with Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw.

Davis’ podcast clip was subsequently shared via Instagram with a social media user asking in the comments whether the actress and Noth, 70, ever dated offscreen.

A Comprehensive Guide to ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Hookups Over the Years

“No, I didn’t!!!” Davis enthusiastically replied in the comments section.

Sex and the City aired on HBO from 1998 to 2004, following Carrie and her three best friends’ single lives in New York City. Throughout much of the show, Carrie was involved in an on-off relationship with business tycoon Mr. Big. They ultimately wed in the first feature-length movie, staying together up through the first episode of Max’s And Just Like That revival.

When AJLT premiered in 2021, it was revealed that Noth’s character suffered a heart attack after a grueling Peloton workout and died.

“[I asked,] ‘You wanna come in and die?’ And then he was like, ‘Of course, no, who wants to?’” showrunner Michael Patrick King told Us Weekly and other reporters about pitching Big’s death. “We started talking about the character and what it would mean. Then Chris and I worked a lot, and it was a thrill because he has great instincts, great story instincts.”

King added, “Together, what we came up with is exactly how he left and why he left and how he would leave and what their last moments would be.”

After Big’s death, his widow, Carrie, spent the remainder of the first season trying to grieve and move forward. By both season 2 and the currently airing season 3, Carrie found a new romance with her old SATC love interest Aidan Shaw (John Corbett). They have, however, paused their romance — despite buying a gorgeous Gramercy Park brownstone — while he remains in Virginia with his teenage sons.

“I gotta stay f***ing laser focused on the situation at home. But you can text me — little stuff, big stuff,” Aidan told Carrie in the Thursday, June 5, episode. “Call me, if it’s important.”

Davis’ Charlotte, meanwhile, is still happily married to husband Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) and raising their two children on the Upper East Side.

And Just Like That airs new episodes Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Max.

30 Years Later, Stars Remember the Horny Lunacy of MTV's 'Singled Out'

Formalwear and flowers had no place on MTV’s entry into dating shows.

On Singled Out — which debuted June 5, 1995 — 50 guys and 50 girls angled to be chosen by two lonelyhearts, who made eliminations based on shallow categories (say, “Wealth” or “Legs”) and WTF stunts (one hopeful imitated a cow giving birth!).

The prize? A day date that wouldn’t require a network chaperone to, say, California’s Catalina Island.

Nimble Chris Hardwick hosted, while stars-in-the-making Jenny McCarthy and later Carmen Electra wrangled the singles. Says Hardwick: “When MTV started airing it four times a day, it occurred to me that maybe we were onto something!”

In the Beginning

Having hosted the short-lived MTV game show Trashed and VJ-ed for the network’s beach house, Hardwick, now 53, was a natural choice. “Since I’d always wanted to host game shows and I couldn’t think of a good reason to say no and go back to complete my philosophy degree, I very quickly accepted,” he tells Us. This was no traditional hosting gig, though. Asked to describe the role he played, Hardwick spitballs: “Ringmaster seems to cover it! But… snarky clown? Dating pool lifeguard? Floppy-haired game-show traffic cop? I think any of those work!”

For McCarthy, though, MTV was not about to hire a Playboy centerfold — even if she had just been named Playmate of the Year! “I decided to take matters into my own hands,” McCarthy, now 52, tells Us. “MTV was doing these giant cattle-call auditions with hundreds of hopefuls lined up, so I just… got in line.” Her ruse wasn’t discovered till she’d made the final six. She recalls, “I could almost hear the collective ‘Oh, brother… But to their credit, they didn’t stop me.”

Quite the opposite. They were sold on the way she subverted expectations: “I leaned all the way into self-deprecating humor, went full goofball and made it clear I wasn’t intimidated by the guys — I could dish it out as much as they could,” she says. “I think seeing a woman with confidence and edge who could flip the script was kind of refreshing for them. And just like that, I got the gig.”

Not without one weird restriction, though: For season 1, she was told not to show her stomach. “They were weirdly anti–crop tops, probably because of my Playboy past,” she says. “I think there was this quiet fear I might suddenly rip all my clothes off or something!”

One of her wildest memories actually occurred right before her first episode, when the show was shooting in Lake Havasu, Arizona, and she, uh, accidentally lit her hotel room on fire. “A candle was sitting on top of my hot rollers, which eventually melted, caught fire and set the wall — and then the ceiling — on fire. It went up fast,” she remembers. “The fire department told me I probably had five minutes left before I would’ve expired.” Still, two hours later, she’d showered, put on makeup and made it on stage for her debut. “I came in hot, in every possible way.”

How It Worked

Singled Out
Everett Collection

Singled Out was ridiculousness long before there was a show by that name. Where else would losers submit to a toilet seat around their neck because they’d been “dumped”? Says Hardwick: “People were willing to perform just about any silly task because they were on MTV.” And viewers loved seeing themselves in the teens and twentysomethings who cycled through — some picked up by the Singled Out van that cruised Venice, California, for talent!

In round 1, the masked “pickers” (the main contestants) hopped onto a throne, which concealed the 50 eager singles behind them. While McCarthy wrangled the horde (hopped up on free candy and soda), Hardwick would unveil categories describing certain qualities, like height or facial hair. Any potential date who didn’t fit with the picker’s preferences was axed; all the rejects would file out — but in later seasons, the picker could present a “golden ticket” and keep one hottie to move to the next round.

No. 2 was a Dating Game–style Q&A, with the picker asking the potential matches to do incredibly silly things to prove their worth. Such as: imitate the sound of an “excited” car, persuade a staffer dressed as a roach to check into a roach motel (and leave the bug-averse picker alone), trim the “hair” from an oversize nose or put on a turban, look into a crystal ball and predict what would happen on their first date. Yep. Notes Hardwick: “If the picker had said to the dudes, ‘Dress up like a banana and jump into this giant bowl of cornflakes!’ they probably would have done it without thinking twice.”

Finally, with three people left, a lightning round would eliminate all but one, who was then revealed to the picker. Unsurprisingly, it was not always love at first sight.

Jenny McCarthy Admits She Signs Autographs as Jennie Garth

Success… and Change

Singled Out was a hit. Hardwick was offered a raise after that first season, and he learned this was not a given: “My agent at the time said, ‘They are not in the habit of offering to give away money, so I would take this as a sign that the show is doing well.’”

McCarthy didn’t entirely grasp how huge a sensation the show was until she was asked to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. “I actually said, ‘Why would a rock magazine want me on their cover?’ I genuinely had no idea how major that was,” she tells Us. “I’d worked in a Polish grocery store for seven years — I wasn’t exactly keeping up with media milestones. But once the issue came out, I was like, ‘Oh… s–it.’ It was the door that opened all the doors.”

One of those doors led to McCarthy’s exit: In 1997, she landed her own sitcom, NBC’s Jenny. (It costarred Heather Paige Kent, a.k.a. future Beverly Hills Housewife Heather Dubrow!) Already a fan of the show, Electra, now 53, auditioned. “Before I went, I realized I was gonna have to get over being so shy and just go for it — pretend I’m with my friends and not strangers,” she tells Us. She nailed it, and McCarthy passed the baton in one special episode. “I thought she was so cool,” Electra recalls, “the best energy, a girls’ girl.”

Hardwick found both “absolutely wonderful,” regardless of their stature in the industry when they arrived. “Jenny became a star during the run of the show. When she left, Carmen came on already a star, and they both remained so down to earth, kind and funny through all of it,” he says.

Burning question: Did the female cohosts get hit on by the single guys? “All the time,” Electra says, but she was dating someone at the time and never said yes to a contestant.

In the McCarthy era, though, things didn’t get to the asking-out stage. “Most of the guys were terrified of me,” she tells Us. “Maybe in the first season they’d try a whistle or throw out a cheesy line, but by the second season, they knew better. I was pretty ballsy with them. I used to smack them — hard — right in the face on a regular basis on camera. It got to the point where MTV had to hire five extra security guards to blend into the crowd of 50 guys on set, just in case things got out of hand. Every now and then, I’d feel a sneaky pinch, so the bodyguards were there to step in fast if needed. But I usually just waited for the camera light to go on, and then I got my revenge.”

As with McCarthy, Big Opportunities came to Electra. “One day, a bunch of men in black suits appeared on set. It was UTA,” she says. “It was so serious but really cool.” She landed those agents — not to mention a little show called Baywatch, which she shot on weekdays, with four episodes of the game show on weekends. The paparazzi couldn’t get enough of her, and kids at the mall would come “running running running to get to me.”

The Singled Out experience, though, was total fun for her. “It was like college,” Electra says. “We were just nuts and completely out of our minds with the costumes, dancing and the way we acted. Every week, we’d go to a bar and celebrate and drink our asses off. Like, way too much.”

Before the show ended in 1998, other now-familiar faces appeared: Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson (with her band Wild Orchid) and then–Party of Five star Jennifer Love Hewitt were both pickers, and Vince Vaughn acted in a few sketches for $150 a day.

Why We Remember It

Singled Out
Everett Collection

The show went way beyond MTV, especially in 1996, when it inspired an episode of Boy Meets World and many a parody: On SNL, Molly Shannon’s Catholic schoolgirl Mary Katherine Gallagher was a picker. And on The Dana Carvey Show, Stephen Colbert spoofed Hardwick with his trademark “hair drapes” (those bangs!), while Carvey — costumed as Unabomber Ted Kaczynski — was the picker. Bonus: Selma Blair as a hopeful single! And in the 1997 comedy Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, Mira Sorvino’s Romy applies for the show, only to be told she’s too old and to “try VH1.”

To Hardwick, those homages signified that Singled Out had become a cultural touchstone, and they were also heaven to the self-described comedy nerd. “Having so many legendary performers I idolized in the sketches really blew my mind in the best way.” And for the record, he thought those hair drapes were “so cool” at the time!

The Aftermath

Two tries at replicating Singled Out resulted in two fails. A YouTube-only version came and went in 2018 after seven episodes. And in 2020, the Quibi streaming service (which also came and went) rebooted the show with Keke Palmer and Joel Kim Booster as hosts.

A New Perspective

Singled Out
Everett Collection

Calling Singled Out a “total trailblazer,” McCarthy says, “It was definitely its own wild animal — loud, chaotic and totally unapologetic — but it paved the way for so many dating competitions that came after. Sure, The Bachelor had roses and romance, but we had 50 horny guys in tank tops trying to win a date in under 30 minutes. It was messy, ridiculous and kind of genius in its own way.”

Reminiscing for Hardwick brings back the whirlwind: “It all happened so fast and all at once that the show sometimes just feels like this lightning-fast, high-octane, grunge-guitar-power-chord, super-saturated-color blur of a dream I had, and I question whether or not it was even real!”

Nonetheless, he relishes his time on MTV during its heyday. “Having come from chess club, computer camp and D&D groups, I really struggled to feel comfortable around the ‘cool kids,’ and that job helped me realize that maybe I could.”

And for Electra, it was all over too soon. “I wanted more!”

Where Are They Now?

McCarthy is a panelist on The Masked Singer and has her own Formless Beauty line. Electra, too, is in the beauty space with her brand-new Electra Skincare. (The two also appeared together in a Skims campaign.) And Hardwick has been steadily working as a host (Talking Dead, The Wall) and stand-up comedian. McCarthy says she’s primed for a Singled Out revival, though — and “soon, before Chris and I need teleprompters the size of billboards!”

Kris Jenner Glows During Dinner After Viral Plastic Surgery Results

Kris Jenner enjoyed a girls’ night out on Friday, June 6.

Jenner, 69, was spotted arriving to dinner at Los Angeles’ Nobu hotspot in photos obtained by Us Weekly, dressed chicly in a black coat with embellished flowers and a coordinating pair of sunglasses. For glam, Jenner wore her signature dark tresses in a chic, slightly feathered bob.

Several hours earlier, the Kardashians matriarch debuted her newest business venture based on her now-viral plastic surgery results. She dropped a white T-shirt that read, “I’ll have what Kris Jenner is having,” as part of son Rob Kardashian’s Arthur George brand. The limited-edition top retails for $40.

While Jenner hasn’t detailed her merch inspiration, it’s been presumed to be a nod to her recent aesthetic glow-up. Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month that Jenner went to plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine in New York City for a cosmetic procedure.

Kris Jenner Reveals Kylie Jenner's Breast Surgeon Did Her 1st Facelift

While it’s not known precisely what Jenner had done, she’s previously been candid about her plastic surgery journey. She’s gone under the knife for facelifts, an earlobe reduction and got Botox injections.

“Who doesn’t love Botox?” Jenner told People in 2019. “For me, it’s been really great. If you’re responsible and you talk to your doctor, I think it works. It’s something that I’ve been using for a long time.”

Jenner previously had her first facelift in 2011, which was documented on her family’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and performed by Dr. Garth Fisher.

“Garth, you are such a superstar class act!! You did my first facelift in 2011… 14 years ago and made it the most amazing experience ever,” Jenner wrote via Instagram comment on Wednesday, June 4. “[You] even gave us access to film so that others could get a peek inside what it’s like and not be afraid. You have taken great care of us always and remain such a close and treasured friend!! Such an incredible talent!!”

This Is the Celebrity Plastic Surgeon Behind Kris Jenner's New Glow-Up

Jenner’s youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, recently revealed that Fisher also performed her breast augmentation.

“I’m honored to be acknowledged by Kylie — her kind words were unexpected but truly appreciated,” Fisher wrote in a social media statement on Wednesday. “Patient confidentiality has always been the foundation of my practice. Over three decades, we’ve never had a single breach. My entire team is thoroughly trained and bound by strict NDAs and confidentiality agreements. This is more than policy — it’s our culture.”

He added, “HIPAA (patient privacy) laws are in place to protect patients, and I will never discuss any details of a procedure or procedures unless the patient has chosen to share them or given me permission to discuss. Every patient is unique. This isn’t ‘cookbook’ surgery — it’s thoughtful, personalized care.”

Ginny & Georgia's Raymond Ablack Makes the Case for Joe, Georgia 'Endgame'

Could Ginny & Georgia be building up to a Joe and Georgia endgame? Raymond Ablack certainly hopes so.

During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly about season 3, which premiered on Thursday, June 5, Ablack, 35, explained why he could see Joe and Georgia (Brianne Howey) make it work long term.

“If it were me leading my own life, I would hope to be endgame with someone that I trusted that deeply. I would hope to be endgame with my best friend,” he explained. “I feel like if Georgia is going to tell these kinds of secrets [about herself] to anyone — it would be to her best friend. That was Joe this year.”

Ablack noted how “it makes sense” based on the narrative, adding, “They should be endgame. But sometimes the most frustrating and addictive thing is to watch someone mess up those very obvious and those right choices that they should make.”

TV Couples We Need to See in 2025: From ‘Summer I Turned Pretty' to '9-1-1'

Ginny & Georgia had Us rooting for Joe and Georgia since season 1 premiered in 2021. At the time, Joe was romantically interested in Georgia but she was distracted by her connection with Paul (Scott Porter). It got complicated once Joe and Georgia realized they met in the past, which heightened the stakes.

As if that wasn’t dramatic enough, Georgia got married to Paul at the end of season 2 — only to get arrested for murder. The third season proved that Joe was the only one of Georgia’s love interests who stood by her through highs and lows. It led to Georgia finally admitting all the crimes she committed to Joe to prove how much she trusted him.

“There is [this] allusion [on the show] to Joe being more cunning and having an ounce of the character that Georgia has. He just seems so sweet but I think he has the capacity to be devious and cunning and mischievous in his own way,” Ablack noted about how the show subtly highlighted Joe as the best match for Georgia. “It’s just different than say Paul or Zion. His is more covert. I would like to explore more of that and show what that looks like in him. I think Joe has that ability and capacity too.”

Netflix has already renewed Ginny & Georgia for season 4 and rightfully so after that cliffhanger where Georgia realized she’s pregnant — but didn’t know whether Paul or Joe is the father.

“In my heart, Joe is the father. But I don’t know. I have no idea. I’m as eager for episode 1 of season 4 as everyone else is to find out that truth,” he told Us. “[In season 4], I think Georgia and Joe both might enjoy him taking the lead in their relationship so that it’s an equal partnership.”

2025 TV Wishlist: What Us Weekly Wants to See on 'Bridgerton' and More Shows

Ablack also discussed the resounding fan support for Joe and Georgia online. “I can’t lie, I’m excited about what their reception will be,” he told Us. “I’m definitely relieved that fans are still excited by our show. It means we had something real and that people identified with. That is rewarding. It’s just a good feeling that people like what we did with our work.”

While speaking to Us, Ablack took the chance to praise Howey for being the perfect scene partner.

“She’s a tour de force and it is a privilege to just stand opposite her. It really is a treat to just be in the room and watch her work,” he shared. “She’s so talented and generous. She can gear shift between comedy and drama. She’s so flexible and can go anywhere. Then beyond just her talent, the woman and the person that she is. She’s the leader on our show.”

He concluded: “I know the hours that she puts in and I know the demand. She just is generous and kind and welcoming. Any day player that comes on the show, she’s generous with. It is a privilege to be across from her. I can’t gush enough about the woman that Brianne Howey is.”

All the Behind-the-Scenes Secrets and Production Revelations You Didn’t Know About ‘Love Island’

Peacock’s Love Island has way more behind-the-scenes revelations — and production secrets — than some fans may realize.

Love Island, which premiered in the U.K. in 2002, follows a different group of singles every season who have to pair off in order to stay in the show’s luxury villa. The franchise has since expanded worldwide with spinoffs such as Love Island USA.

The contestants — who are referred to as Islanders — live in isolation in a villa and are under constant video surveillance. They must be coupled up to remain on the show and to stand a chance to receive the prize of $100,000.

Samie Elishi from season 9 of Love Island UK explained in a 2023 YouTube video that while the show is “not scripted at all,” producers still encourage contestants when it comes to onscreen conversations and moving their journey to find love along.

Love Island’s Most Controversial Contestants and Moments Through the Years

“If they didn’t encourage us to go and talk to your couple or someone you’re having an argument with or anything like that, then there would be no show,” she claimed. “You do get encouraged to have certain chats, but what’s said within them chats is completely up to you.”

Over the years, the cast and crew have spoken out about behind-the-scenes secrets. Keep scrolling for a guide to all the surprising revelations — and perhaps helpful answers to some burning Love Island questions:

How Are Contestants Recruited?

Love Island
Ben Symons/Peacock

Those hoping to find The One on Love Island can either apply online or they will be contacted directly by producers through social media. Season 4 alum Phoebe Siegel broke down her experience in a 2023 TikTok video where she recalled sending in an application, filming a casting video and taking part in six interviews with network executives and producers of both Love Island UK and Love Island USA.

What Is the Packing Process Like?

Just because viewers are tuning in almost every day for weeks to see what their favorite islanders are up to doesn’t mean they are allowed to pack heavy. Elishi shared in a 2023 YouTube video that she packed two large suitcases weighing up to 50 pounds.

Elishi also revealed that their season was given access to items from eBay that got swapped out every week or so.

How Do the Love Island Phones Work?

Love Island Secrets
Ben Symons/Peacock

Love Island contestants aren’t allowed access to the outside world — and that includes their phones and even clocks. But what about the phones that deliver those texts, you ask?

Love Island UK‘s Lucinda Strafford clarified in a 2021 YouTube video that the device was largely limited to messaging. Islanders could text one another but producers were able to see their correspondences.

“We used to write messages to each other when we were in bed so other people couldn’t hear what we were saying,” former islander Adam Collard told OK! Magazine in 2018. “We deleted our messages but the producers told me that they still have them all.”

Siegel weighed in as well about how all Islanders “have no access to the outside world.”

“You can’t Google, you can’t watch TV, you can’t access your socials, you can’t text anybody,” she added in 2024. “Taking thirst traps, taking really cute videos … besides taking pictures of each other and of yourself, the phone is used for receiving a text.”

When Do the Men and Women Get Split Up by Production?

Lochan Nowacki from season 10 of Love Island UK cited breaks for meals as the time when the men and women aren’t meant to interact.

“I can understand why they do these things because they want to save the chat,” Nowacki said in a 2023 YouTube video. “That was frustrating … The time when you eat with people is the time when you’re really conversing, getting to know everyone, not just your girlfriend, your partner. So that was a shame.”

Is There Anywhere Without Cameras?

Love Island
Ben Symons/Peacock

The short response is no. Love Island UK’s Rosie Seabrook shared via YouTube in 2023 that the cameras in the villa were “never off,” adding, “You are quite literally filmed 24/7. Even on a down day, you’re still mic’d up, you’re still filmed.”

There are nearly 100 cameras on the premises meant to capture every moment of the experience for Us at home. Elishi, however, recalled how the pantry was the exception, which some couples took advantage of while filming.

Even the toilets have bathrooms — but those are used for health and safety reasons.

Is Contraception Provided?

According to Glamour UK, Love Island has their own branded range of condoms and there are over 200 in the house and they are replenished as needed.

What Is the Bathroom Situation?

Siegel said the experience “wasn’t a good situation” with everyone sharing one shower and four sinks. Casa Amor, meanwhile, has one toilet in the villa and a handful of portable toilets.

Most Dramatic Casa Amor Moments From 'Love Island UK' and 'Love Island USA'

How Much Catering Is There?

The men aren’t just making breakfast for the women they are interested in to score them some points. Contestants are expected to feed themselves with ingredients available to them — but only for the first meal of their day.

Does the Cast Get a Break?

Did Love Island USA Fans Actually Spot an IUD
Ben Symons/Peacock

Viewers get one day off from the Love Island shenanigans each week — but what about the reality stars? Love Island UK’s Mille Court shared in a 2022 YouTube video that producers tell them at the last second about a “chill day.”

While the islanders “didn’t have to do anything,” they couldn’t discuss the drama. They weren’t even allowed to sleep in the same bed as their matches. The perk? Contestants were allowed to get food delivered to the villa.

“Not a lot of people know this. What happens is when you take your mics off, you’re not allowed to talk about anything to do with the show,” Kem Cetinay from season 3 of Love Island UK told This Morning in 2017. “You can all sit and chat but they are quite careful about what you talk about because they want to keep it so everyone at home can see and get it on video. It’s more a day off from all the intense games, all the intense dates, deciding who you like and don’t like.”

How Much Sleep Do the Islanders Get?

“The lack of sleep was like a big thing for me,” Paige Thorne from season 8 shared in an interview with Glamour UK in 2023. “I feel like that’s all I complained about. I felt like it was just going to be like a holiday, but I think, to just, like, make sure the stories made sense, you were actually filming quite a lot of the time.”

Where Do the Dumped Islanders Go?

Love Island
Jocelyn Prescod/Peacock

In addition to bombshells watching footage before joining the cast, contestants who are dismissed aren’t actually allowed to go home just yet. Chris Hughes from season 3 of Love Island UK told HuffPost U.K. in 2018 that they had to meet with a psychologist before leaving the villa for good.

“Once we spoke to our friends and family, we all had our own little slots where we’d go just outside the villa and sit in a cabin with her, in her office,” he detailed. “We had individual chats to make sure everything’s ok. Everyone who comes out of the show comes out into a different life. So it’s important that she treats everybody individually which she did.”

Who Should Compete on 'DWTS' Season 34? Us Weekly Has Thoughts

The pressure is on for Dancing With the Stars to top the record-breaking success of season 33 — and Us has some ideas for how season 34 can up the ante.

Two celebrity contestants have already been revealed, with Robert Irwin and influencer Alix Earle vying for the coveted mirrorball trophy when DWTS returns to ABC this fall. The rest of the cast, however, remains a mystery — even to the pro dancers.

“Sometimes people think that we know [the cast in advance], and we don’t. We find out when everybody else finds out,” Pasha Pashkov told Us Weekly exclusively in May during a joint interview with his wife and fellow DWTS pro, Daniella Karagach, adding that he has high hopes for the season ahead. “The first two celebs are already so amazing, so I can only imagine what the season is going to look like.”

There are a few more months to go before DWTS is officially back on our screens, but that hasn’t stopped Us from putting together an ideal lineup of reality stars, athletes and more. Keep scrolling to see the dream cast:

Jason Kelce

Even some DWTS pros are on board with this fan cast. Jenna Johnson called the retired athlete her “dream partner” back in 2024, and anyone who’s seen those viral tracksuit videos can understand why.

Sure, some fans are campaigning for Dylan Efron to vie for the mirrorball trophy after his success on The Traitors, but Us thinks it’s time for Zac to revisit his dancing roots. (And if Zac isn’t available, there’s always a chance his High School Musical dad, Bart Johnson, is.)

Taylor Frankie Paul

Ezra Sosa may have teamed up with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck for a TikTok video earlier this year, but Taylor’s fiery side would make her a fierce competitor. Can MomTok survive the pressure of the ballroom?

Savannah Chrisley

It’s been more than a decade since Chrisley Knows Best premiered, but the family is more relevant than ever. Savannah’s efforts to help her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, receive a presidential pardon give her the perfect emotional backstory — and a hint of controversy — to capture voters’ attention.

Lindsay Lohan

With Freakier Friday hitting theaters this summer, the early aughts star is shining even brighter in the spotlight than ever before — and Us can’t get the idea of a cha-cha to “Drama Queen (That Girl)” out of our heads.

'Dancing With the Stars' Winners Through the Years: Photos

Rachael Kirkconnell

If you ask Us, there’s no better revenge than placing higher than your ex on the DWTS leaderboard. Rachael has been keeping it relatively low-key since her split from former Bachelor (and DWTS season season 30 alum) Matt James, but the ballroom could be the perfect place to make her comeback.

Jelly Roll

The musician has already taken a few fan-favorite shows by storm — from American Idol to Fire Country — so what better way to finish the year than in the DWTS ballroom? He has tour dates lined up with Post Malone through mid-September, but our fingers are still crossed.

Kevin Bacon

With two major TV projects (The Bondsman, Sirens) and a new movie in the works (The Best You Can), 2025 is the year of Kevin Bacon. Nothing says nostalgia quite like a Footloose dance break — does the actor still have his moves?

Brooklyn Beckham

David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son is no stranger to trying his hand at different hobbies, so slipping on a pair of dancing shoes doesn’t seem like an out-of-this-world possibility. Plus, the rehearsal studio has given plenty of stars a safe space to open up about their personal highs and lows — alleged family drama included.

Alex Morgan

Athletes have always been up for the DWTS challenge, and Alex wouldn’t be the first U.S. women’s soccer player to take the plunge. Her former teammate Hope Solo competed on season 13 with Maks Chmerkovskiy, finishing in fourth place.

Rob Gronkowski

It’s hard to believe this fun-loving NFL alum hasn’t already graced the ballroom floor, but after the success of his former teammate Danny Amendola on season 33, Gronk should be next in line.

The former Today host is already pretty booked and busy after leaving her role on the morning show in January, but there’s no doubt she would light up the DWTS ballroom with her infectious energy. With her history of early wake-up calls and long days at the newsdesk, the competition may not even wear her out.

Garcelle Beauvais

While she won’t be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the reality TV world isn’t ready to bid Garcelle farewell forever. Her no-nonsense attitude and determination would make her a strong competitor, but Us mostly wants to know which of her fellow Housewives would be seen in the audience throughout the season.

Olympians have consistently given their all in the dance competition, but the ballroom has yet to host a track and field star. The sprinter’s confidence was on full display during the 2024 Paris Olympics — despite his positive COVID test — so he’d likely be trying to race to the top of the leaderboard.

Ashley Williams Jokes ‘Downward Spiral of Self-Hatred’ Sparked Hallmark Film

Ashley Williams might look like she has it all together on the outside, but internally her head can be full of insecurities — one of which inspired her two new Hallmark movies.

“I got really sad in an airport one day, and I had an idea for a movie based on sort of my own downward spiral of self-hatred,” Williams, 46, exclusively told Us Weekly, before laughing about how the concept for To Barcelona, With Love and To Barcelona, Forever, came about.

She explained, “I had this idea for about like a writer who, you know, she’s a terrible writer, but the person who translates her book into a different language [then] rewrites it and makes it an actually good book.” (This is the premise for To Barcelona, With Love premieres on Hallmark Channel Saturday, June 7.)

Williams joked, “That would be the only way that I would ever be a successful writer is if somebody rewrote what I wrote into an actually good book. That was literally my thought.”

What's It Take to Make a Hallmark Movie in Europe? Alison, Ashley Tell All

The actress recalled, “I was like, ‘Oh, that’s kind of not a bad idea for, like, a rom-com,” and eventually pitched it to Julie Sherman Wolfe, who is a writer for Hallmark.

Sherman Wolfe pointed out that they needed another Hallmark star to “speaks a different language” to make it work. “Right then Alison Sweeney walked by and I said, ‘Hey, Ali, do you speak another language?’ And she said, ‘Spanish,’” Williams told Us. “And I turned to Julie, and I said, ‘So the movie takes place in Barcelona.’ And that is how the idea came about.”

After a successful pitch, both Williams and Sweeney, 48, signed on to play writer Anna and translator Erica, respectively. The excitement, however, wasn’t over, because Sherman Wolfe liked the idea so much, she asked the actresses to figure out how to make it into two movies.

“We were really picky about the second movie because, of course, now there’s a lot of extra stress with that, like, making sure it’s different, making sure it’s really its own story,” Sweeney exclusively told Us, confessing she “hates” sequels so she didn’t want To Barcelona, Forever, which premieres on Saturday, June 14, to feel like one.

Sweeney noted that the first installment is about Erica (her character) and Anna’s “friendship” being introduced through miscommunication and a hilarious book debacle they find themselves in.

The second film is more about Anna’s (Williams) next steps after realizing that maybe her creative passions lie somewhere other than writing romance novels.

“At the end of the first movie, Anna is a completely different person who now is ready for what happens in the second movie,” Williams teased. “There does end up being a love story that, you know, is something completely different from what Anna could have ever considered.”

How Ashley Williams’ ‘Falling Together’ Pays Tribute Her Mom — And Hallmark

Williams explained to Us that To Barcelona, With Love is about a “misunderstanding” while To Barcelona, Forever is also about a misunderstanding with “some very well-intentioned deception” with an “incredibly, tall, handsome Spaniard” thrown in for good measure.

“Having lived through this crazy hijinks of a situation, like, then what happens to these women?” Sweeney asked. “What, what do they do? What do they learn from [the first movie] that they carry forward?”

She promised To Barcelona, Forever “very much gives you that next chapter of their lives to enjoy and with the lessons they learned, but maybe some more lessons to learn too.”

To Barcelona, With Love premieres on Hallmark Channel Saturday, June 7, at 8 p.m. ET. To Barcelona, Forever, follows on Saturday, June 14, at the same time.

Ginny & Georgia's Ginny Tries to Self-Harm, CPS Takes Georgia's Kids Away

As a result of Georgia’s murder trial going viral, Ginny almost relapsed with her self-harm before Child Protective Services stepped in and took her — and Austin — away on Ginny & Georgia.

During the fifth episode of season 3, which premiered on Thursday, June 5, Georgia (Brianne Howey) could no longer hide the suspicious deaths of her first and second husband. The accusations that she was a serial killer made her trial go viral, which created excessive public attention around her, Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Austin (Diesel La Torraca).

Georgia’s marriage to Paul (Scott Porter) fell apart as he questioned her past. He ultimately left the house despite Austin asking him to stay. In the courtroom, Georgia’s lawyer got Gabriel’s (Alex Mallari Jr.) testimony to be deemed inadmissible but it was too late. By the end of the episode, CPS stepped in to take Ginny and Austin out of the home due to a tip from Zion (Nathan Mitchell) and Gil (Aaron Ashmore).

Ginny, meanwhile, tried to not let the interest in her mother’s case affect her. But very quickly she was punching Press (Damian Romeo) for joking about her being a serial killer, sneaking out of school to go on a date with Wolfe (Ty Doran) and nearly self-harming. Georgia stepped in before Ginny could hurt herself (after seeing her poem from season 2 about Georgia gaining views on social media).

As Ginny was dealing with the fallout of the trial, her friends took a step back from supporting her. She also shared an awkward moment with Marcus (Felix Mallard), who saw her kissing Wolfe.

The flashbacks from this episode hinted at Georgia’s shoplifting past when she took Ginny out of school as a child so they could go shopping.

Ginny & Georgia, which returned after more than two years, picked up after Georgia was arrested on her and Paul’s wedding day for the murder of fellow Wellsbury resident Cynthia’s husband. Georgia previously killed Cynthia’s terminally ill husband after learning Cynthia blocked Austin’s dad Gil’s application to move to Wellsbury.

Summer TV Preview 2025: Inside Must-Watch New and Returning Shows

Before the hit series returned to Netflix, Howey, 35, reflected on how becoming a mother to her daughter, whom she shares with husband Matt Ziering, allowed her to understand Georgia better.

“Having my own daughter going through these scenes … meant so much more in a new way,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in February. “The more personal you make the work, the more universal it becomes, and the writing, the story, the nuance, it’s so personal to everybody involved and it seems to be making waves. No matter what walk of life you come from, there seems to be a character that you feel like you can really relate to and that you want to go on this journey with them.”

Ginny & Georgia is currently streaming on Netflix.

Why Kevin James 'Ruined' Leah Remini for Future Shows After 'King of Queens'

Leah Remini and Kevin James made sitcom history with their dynamic on The King of Queens — but was there a downside to the show?

In her Us Weekly cover story, Remini, 54, confirmed she is “always” in touch with James, 60, years after they played love interests on the hit series, saying, “We talk all the time. He’s the real deal.”

Remini noted that working with James affected other shows she has worked on.

“He kind of ruined me for future projects. I loved working with Kevin so much,” she added. “I’ve said that a thousand times but he really did ruin me because he’s the perfect leading man for me.”

TV Shows That Changed Their Premise: From 'Scrubs' to 'Saved by the Bell'

The King of Queens, which ran from 1998 to 2007, followed a working-class couple that lived in Queens. In addition to Remini and James, The King of Queens also starred Jerry Stiller, Victor Williams, Patton Oswalt), Larry Romano, Gary Valentine and Nicole Sullivan.

Leah Remini Explains Why Kevin James
CBS / Courtesy: Everett Collection

After making Us root for Carrie and Doug, Remini and James waited nearly a decade before reuniting on his sitcom Kevin Can Wait. The CBS series aired from 2016 to 2018 and introduced James as a recently retired police officer who became a single dad to three kids after his wife (played by Erinn Hayes) died ahead of season 2. (Remini, for her part, was introduced as his partner at the police force after he returned to work.)

“There is nobody I have worked with or ever will work with that will match what she did,” James told TVInsider in September 2024. “It doesn’t matter what I do, I’ll have fun working with other people, but there’s nothing like what I had with Leah in that way. That comfort and laughing my ass off just the whole time.”

Reboots and Revivals Missing Beloved TV Stars

James called Remini “family,” adding, “We just have that relationship and a connection.” Despite their bond, Remini explained to Us why neither of them were in a rush to reboot The King of Queens.

“I would consider it. But they’d have to really present a way to represent Jerry,” she said to Us about actor Jerry Stiller, who died in 2020. “Because it would be hard to say yes without something meaningful.”

Remini admitted she wasn’t sure about revisiting that world.

“Not just in memory of Jerry Stiller. It would be hard to do a show like that without him,” she continued. “To me in memory, it wouldn’t be enough. You would have to really think of something to represent Jerry. Because he was such a big part of this. There’s no The King of Queens without him.”

'Ballerina' Rules! Watch These 3 Action Movies After the John Wick Spinoff

In 2021, Ana de Armas blew us away with her action moves in No Time to Die. This weekend, Armas is finally getting to headline her own action movie, Ballerina, a John Wick spinoff that even features Keanu Reeves.

Unsurprisingly, Ballerina delivers all of the action we could have ever wanted, and Armas seems poised for even greater stardom.

If you liked Ballerina, then you’re going to love these three action movies after watching the John Wick spinoff.

The connecting theme of this list is that all three movies feature female action heroes. And it’s a positive sign for the genre that we didn’t have to look far to find these films.

9 Must-See Action Movies on Netflix Right Now (May 2025)

‘Atomic Blonde’ (2017)

If we were ranking Charlize Theron‘s action films, then Atomic Blonde would be pretty high on the list. In this late Cold War spy action thriller, Theron plays Lorraine Broughton, an M16 on a mission to East Germany to recover stolen intelligence from the men who murdered another agent.

Most of the fights that Lorraine has in this movie are with men, and they are absolutely brutal. One of the reasons why Atomic Blonde stands out is that Lorraine pays a physical price for all of the hand-to-hand battles she’s in. This may be a very stylized film, but the action is top-notch.

Atomic Blonde is available for rent or purchase at Prime Video.

‘Peppermint’ (2018)

Jennifer Garner had her John Wick moment in Peppermint, and all of her action experience from Alias and even Daredevil and Elektra probably helped prepare her for this. Garner plays Riley North, a banker who is happily married to Chris (Jeff Hephner) and proudly raising their daughter, Carly (Cailey Fleming). When a drug lord named Diego Garcia (Juan Pablo Raba) sends out a hit on Chris for something he didn’t even do, only Riley is left alive.

8 Great Action Movies on Hulu Right Now (May 2025)

When Diego escapes justice, Riley vows revenge for the loss of her husband and child. And she’s willing to take a destructive journey over several years just to settle the score.

Peppermint is streaming on AMC+.

‘The Long Kiss Goodnight’ (1996)

Genna Davis wasn’t the first female action star, but she was definitely a pioneer in The Long Kiss Goodnight. The film was written by Shane Black, so of course it takes place during Christmas. Davis plays Samantha Caine, but she knows full well that isn’t her real name. Eight years ago, Samantha was found badly injured and she never regained her memory.

None of the private investigators that Samantha hires can tell her who she really is. So she finds a life for herself as a school teacher and the wife of Hal (Tom Amandes), and as the mother of Caitlin (Yvonne Zima). One Christmas, private investigator Mitch Henessey (Samuel L. Jackson) finally finds a lead about Samantha. And he’s not the only one, because Samantha’s enemies are also close to tracking her down.

The Long Kiss Goodnight is available to rent or buy on Prime Video.

I Watch Netflix for a Living — Here’s What I’m Streaming This Weekend (June 6-8)

May was an unexpectedly great month to watch movies. From the latest — and possibly last — Mission: Impossible sequel to the excellent horror flick Bring Her Back, movie theaters were the place to be last month.

Streaming wasn’t slacking either, with guilty pleasures like Fear Street: Prom Queen and some of 2024’s prestige films like The Brutalist wreaking havoc on my social life.

Netflix’s June programming schedule is just as impressive, with so many films to watch that I had to cancel my wedding.

All joking aside, I have to be selective about what I’m watching, and this week, I picked an underrated 2012 film that no one really talks about today — Hitchcock. Don’t be fooled — this isn’t a routine womb-to-tomb biopic. Instead, it’s a fascinating portrait of an artist at a crossroads and the creation of one of the most influential movies ever made.

A Behind-the-Scenes Look at a Masterpiece

That movie is Psycho, which is so famous, everyone knows what happens in it even if they haven’t seen it. In case you don’t know, here’s a quick plot summary: A woman steals cash from her work, flees to an isolated hotel in the desert, befriends the hotel’s owner, is stabbed to death in the shower and the killer is revealed to be the owner.

16 New Movies to Watch This Weekend on Netflix, Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime, More

Pretty straightforward, right? But in 1960, when sex and violence were strictly prohibited thanks to the Hays Code, this was pretty lurid stuff, and a story like Psycho’s just wasn’t made by mainstream directors. But Alfred Hitchcock (Anthony Hopkins) was always drawn to the macabre, and the film chronicles his growing obsession with adapting the true story of Ed Gein to the big screen.

“Why this one?” his wife Alma (Helen Mirren) asks early in the film. The answer is obvious — the Master of Suspense is bored, and he wants to shake things up a bit. There’s an infectious, rebellious spirit throughout Hitchcock as the great director labors to convince his reluctant staff, skeptical studio executives and nervous actors that Psycho is a movie worth doing.

For every stumble, like Paramount initially refusing to finance the film, there’s a win, like when Hitch cons the censors into thinking he deleted a violence sequence they wanted cut when he actually just re-edited it differently. Even though it takes place when he was 61 and already famous, Hitchcock showcases the director as a maverick willing to bend the rules to realize his artistic vision.

Scenes from a Marriage

Hitchcock isn’t just about the man himself — it’s also about his marriage to Alma. At this point, they’ve been married for over 30 years, and their partnership extended to work as Alma reviewed scripts and contributed valuable notes to some of her husband’s greatest films. In the film, their union is solid, but it’s not perfect, and Alma feels restless with her husband’s total focus on Psycho.

7 Must-Watch Hulu Thrillers on Right Now (June 2025)

She finds solace with Whitfield Cook (Danny Houston), a writer who urges Alma to strike out on her own. Alma loves her husband, but she’s a little envious of his success and has unrealized ambitions of her own. Hitchcock presents a marriage at a crisis point — what happens when love just isn’t enough anymore? The filmmaker puts up a great front, but when faced with the prospect of losing Alma for good, he’s as scared as the audience members he’s frightened for years.

Stars Playing Stars

Movie biopics like Hitchcock are enjoyable on a superficial level since you get the chance to see modern movie stars playing older ones. That’s certainly the case here, with Jessica Biel playing actress Vera Miles, Ralph Macchio as the film’s writer, Joseph Stefano, and Scarlett Johansson stepping in for Janet Leigh.

It’s the latter who impresses the most, and with good reason — Johansson gets Leigh’s ordinary girl charm just right, and her scenes with Hopkins’ Hitch have a friendly intimacy that comes from two industry pros who know what they’re doing. Johansson’s highest praise, however, came from Leigh’s daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis, who said that a moment in the movie “startles me, where I look at Scarlett and she’s my mother.” Her performance combines uncanny mimicry with real emotion, and it’s one of Johansson’s best roles in her impressive career.

Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’ — America’s First True Crime Obsession?

It would be enough if Hitchcock were just a biopic about a great movie or a portrait of a vulnerable marriage, but the film is more ambitious than that. It’s also a commentary about America’s obsession with true crime and how Psycho helped give birth to it.

18 Must-Watch Movies on Netflix Right Now (June 2025)

Throughout the film, director Sascha Gervasi intercuts scenes with Ed Gein (Michael Wincott), who is the main inspiration for Norman Bates. This “Ed,” though, isn’t real — he’s a figment of Hitchcock’s imagination and a personification of his fixation on all the lurid deeds the notorious serial killer did in real life.

Are these scenes necessary? Not really. They don’t move the plot forward or give any insight into the actual production of Psycho. But I think they are crucial to what Gervasi is trying to say with this film: that Hitchcock’s obsession is our own, and that’s why Psycho still persists today in the public imagination.

With its scenes of voyeurism and murder and suggestions of necrophilia and incest, Psycho painted an unflattering picture of America at a time when the myth of John F. Kennedy’s Camelot reigned supreme. That’s why it was so disturbing, and why another film — Hitchcock — had to be made to tell us just how revolutionary that picture was — and still is.

But don’t take my word for it. Stream Hitchcock now on Netflix — just make sure you don’t go anywhere near a shower afterward.

4 Underrated Amazon Prime Video Movies You Need to Watch in June 2025

Amazon Prime Video’s library of movies is enormous, so it can be difficult to keep up with all the great content on the platform. Add to that the fact that many great movies don’t get all the love they deserve, and you could be missing out on hundreds of great flicks.

Whether it’s because they didn’t get released in many theaters or because they feature unconventional subject matter, these underrated movies need someone to prop them up and shout them out — and that’s why we’re here!

In June 2025, Watch With Us is highlighting a historical coming-of-age story, an indie comedy, a showbiz documentary and a compelling cultural origin story. They’re all available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

‘Catherine Called Birdy’ (2022)

Girls creator Lena Dunham takes coming-of-age to the Middle Ages in this film adaptation of a young adult novel. Fourteen-year-old Birdy, aka Lady Catherine (Bella Ramsey, The Last of Us), has no interest in romance or marriage. This becomes a problem when her father, Lord Rollo (Andrew Scott, Fleabag), determines that to save the family from poverty, his daughter must be married to a wealthy suitor. Never one to back down from a challenge, however, Birdy takes it upon herself to scare off every suitor who comes her way with a series of escalating pranks and tricks.

16 New Movies to Watch This Weekend on Netflix, Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime, More

Dunham’s screenplay and direction elevate the source material, focusing on the complexity of family obligations and societal pressure. Younger viewers will love watching Birdy rebel against her role in an oppressive society, while older viewers will cheer Birdy on while also relating to her exasperated parents. It had a very limited theatrical release, so not a lot of people know about it, but it’s sure to be a hit with fans of Greta Gerwig’s Little Women or even Pixar’s Brave.

‘Obvious Child’ (2014)

Does the phrase “abortion rom-com” sound weird to you? If it does, just watch Obvious Child and it will all make sense.

Jenny Slate stars in this genuinely romantic story about Donna, a stand-up comedian who has a one-night stand with sweet, straight-laced Max (Jake Lacy, The White Lotus). When she finds herself pregnant, she never questions her decision to have an abortion — but she does question whether she owes Max the truth, especially since he seems genuinely interested in her. Those who’ve only seen Lacy play despicable characters in Lotus or Peacock’s A Friend of the Family may be shocked by how completely, inoffensively charming he can be.

12 Must-Watch Rom-Com Movies on Netflix Right Now (May 2025)

Obvious Child, much like its protagonist, is frank and unapologetic, but it’s also very sweet and very, very funny.

‘I Know That Voice’ (2013)

Whether you’ve watched a cartoon, heard a radio ad or sat through a commercial — odds are you’ve shouted this film’s title at some point. The voice acting industry is a complex ecosystem that functions separately from the typical Hollywood spotlight.

In I Know That Voice, veteran voice performer John DiMaggio (Futurama, Adventure Time, Kim Possible) interviewed over 150 of his fellow voice actors, including Batman star Kevin Conroy, King of the Hill star Pamela Adlon, and so many more. If you’ve ever been curious about how animation is recorded and how these performers manage to embody so many different characters, I Know That Voice is a must-see.

‘Professor Marston and the Wonder Women’ (2017)

If you saw Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman, you may think you know the origin of DC’s most famous superheroine. But the story that led to the creation of Diana, the Amazonian princess who ties bad guys up with a lasso, is strange, surprising and even sexy.

Dr. William Moulton Marston (Luke Evans, Beauty and the Beast), who created the iconic crimefighter, was inspired by both his psychological research and his relationship with two women — his wife Elizabeth (Rebecca Hall, Vicky Cristina Barcelona) and their shared confidante, Olive Byrne (Bella Heathcote, The Man in the High Castle). (The movie portrays them as a polyamorous trio, though the historical accuracy of this has been debated.)

The Hottest Men in Historical Epics: From Paul Mescal to Brad Pitt

The result is a fascinating portrait of how life can shape fiction — and how love, when lived outside societal norms, can still be deeply true. Whether you’re a comic book fan, a psychology buff or just a movie lover, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women is a criminally overlooked gem, plus an opportunity to learn about the creation of one of pop culture’s most iconic figures.

3 Underrated Comedy Movies You Should Watch in June 2025

There’s a reason so many comedies become “cult classics” — it often takes people a while to see the brilliance in comedies that are ahead of their time.

If you’re looking for a laugh, don’t miss out on these three movies that bring major heart and humor to the screen.

Watch them solo or with a friend — either way, you’ll be laughing at these underrated gems.

Watch With Us is recommending comedy movies you can watch on Disney+, Pluto TV and Plex.

‘George of the Jungle’ (1997)

Brendan Fraser is the King of the Jungle in this Disney comedy. George of the Jungle follows the romance between the titular vine-swinger and missing heiress Ursula (Leslie Mann) as they fight off poachers and Ursula’s scheming mother (Holland Taylor). It’s a campy, fourth-wall-breaking, zany good time.

Rom-Coms You Forgot About and Need to Watch Right Now

While the humor is broad and over the top, he brings such sweet earnestness to the role that you can’t help but get on board. Plus, as the narrator helpfully points out several times throughout the movie, he looks “pretty darn good” in a loincloth.

‘Warm Bodies’ (2013)

If you’re missing the undead adventures of The Last of Us or The Walking Dead but are interested in some lighter fare, check out this “zom-rom-com” (zombie romantic comedy) starring Nicholas Hoult as R, an undead teen with a crush on zombie hunter Julie (Teresa Palmer) that brings him back to life.

Warm Bodies is a fun twist on zombie lore, adding interesting ideas — like that zombies can experience human memories from eating brains — and witty storytelling. Hoult does a commendable job portraying a “reverse zombification,” slowly breathing more life into his performance as he and Julie grow closer. It’s a memorable and unique movie that bends genres in a delightful mix.

8 Must-Watch Horror Movies to Stream Right Now (May 2025)

‘Galaxy Quest’ (1999)

What if real aliens saw Star Trek and assumed it was a documentary? That’s essentially the premise of Galaxy Quest, a hilarious film in which the cast of a sci-fi series (Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub, Daryl Mitchell and Sam Rockwell) is enlisted to help in an interstellar conflict. An alien society with no concept of fiction needs their help to defeat an invading force — and the actors, many of whom resent their lifelong association with the show, must step up to save the day.

7 Must-See Sci-Fi TV Shows on HBO and Max Right Now (May 2025)

Galaxy Quest is both very funny and strangely sincere, even veering toward inspirational at times. The performances are great — especially that of the beleaguered Rickman as a respected British actor who is too good for all of this s***.

Emily Ratajkowski's $20 Makeup Remover Doesn't Require Rinsing

It’s not up for debate — taking off your makeup at the end of the day feels way more satisfying than putting it on. There’s something deeply gratifying about scrubbing the day off your face. The only problem? When you’re running on fumes, the thought of double cleansing, rinsing and patting dry sounds exhausting. Even busy moms like Emily Ratajkowski get it.

“I haven’t always been great at taking off my makeup,” Ratajkowski told InStyle. “But in the past year, I decided it had to stop. I’m an adult and a mother, so now I always take off my makeup with Bioderma,” adding, “If I’m really tired, I sometimes leave the eye makeup on — it doesn’t seem as bad to me. But I always make sure to take the makeup off my skin.”

The $20 French pharmacy staple she swears by? Bioderma’s Sensibio H2O Micellar Water. It’s been a cult-favorite skincare item for decades, and it’s currently blowing up on Amazon with thousands of glowing reviews. The real hook: you don’t even have to rinse it off. Just soak a cotton pad, swipe it across your face and boom — your skin is clean. No need to hover over the sink or deal with the splash zone at midnight.

This Bestselling Cleansing Balm from Elemis Is on Amazon

Bioderma pretty much invented micellar water, and its formula is still considered the gold standard. The Sensibio H2O version is specifically made for sensitive skin, and it removes dirt, sweat and makeup without leaving your skin feeling dry or tight. It also has a skin-loving pH around 5.5, so it won’t mess with your moisture barrier. And Amazon shoppers are just as obsessed as Ratajkowski.

“This micellar water removes makeup effortlessly, including stubborn mascara, without the need for harsh rubbing,” one reviewer wrote. “It leaves my skin feeling clean, hydrated, and calm.”

Another shopper said, “I was hoping this would cleanse well without needing to be rinsed… Wow, this product is not only perfect for that, it actually makes my skin soft and clean. You’d never know I skipped my regular cleanser.”

If your end-of-day routine could use a shortcut that doesn’t feel like cutting corners, Bioderma’s Sensibio H2O is the low-effort luxury your skin has been waiting for.

You Need to Watch These 3 Popular Netflix Movies Now (June 7-8)

Summer may be the best time to go to the movies, but Netflix is making a pretty strong argument for staying at home to watch some great films from the comfort of your couch.

Heading into the weekend, there are only two Netflix originals among the streamer’s top 10 movies. The rest are all on loan from Hollywood studios.

The Watch With Us team is eager to start the weekend a little early, so we’ve put together our picks for the three popular Netflix movies you should watch right now.

Our first selection is a heist film with an A-list cast, followed by a mythological action flick and one of the best horror movies of the last decade.

18 Must-Watch Movies on Netflix Right Now (June 2025)

‘Now You See Me’ (2013)

Just in time for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t to arrive in theaters later this year, the first two films are now on Netflix. Now You See Me establishes the origin of the Four Horsemen: J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher) and Jack Wilder (Dave Franco). Each of these performers has mastered a particular field of magic, and they put on a hell of a show together.

When the Four Horsemen seemingly pull off a real money heist in front of a live audience, the authorities arrest them for robbery. Proving their guilt is too much for FBI agent Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo), who turns to former magician Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman) for help. Bradley’s made a career out of exposing other magicians’ tricks, but the Four Horsemen won’t make it easy for him.

‘Wrath of the Titans’ (2012)

The director of Now You See Me, Louis Leterrier, has more than one movie in Netflix’s top 10 this week. Leterrier also helmed Wrath of the Titans, a sequel to the remake of Clash of the Titans. Avatar‘s Sam Worthington reprises his role as Perseus, the son of Zeus (Liam Neeson), and the man who defeated the Kraken in the first film. But rather than continue his heroics, Perseus has retired to raise his son in peace.

9 Must-See Action Movies on Netflix Right Now (May 2025)

As Zeus’ powers wane, he falls prey to a conspiracy launched by his treacherous brother, Hades (Ralph Fiennes), and his son, Ares (Édgar Ramírez). With Zeus out of the way, the Titans will soon be free to ravage the Earth. That’s not only going to force Perseus out of retirement, it also means he needs help to fight the ancient enemies of the gods.

Wrath of the Titans is streaming on Netflix.

‘Barbarian’ (2022)

It makes sense if you go into Barbarian expecting Bill Skarsgård to be the bad guy. He was, after all, the evil naked vampire in Nosferatu as well as Pennyworth the Dancing Clown with an appetite for children in Stephen King‘s It. In this film, he’s just an ordinary guy named Keith who happened to check into his Airbnb before Tess (Georgina Campbell).

Neither Tess nor Keith knew each other before they were double-booked for the same small vacation home. They get along well, and maybe something romantic could happen. Except this isn’t that kind of story, and that house has secrets that may scare the bejesus out of you. We can’t tell you why it’s a great horror movie without spoiling the surprises. So have fun discovering them for yourselves.

5. ‘The Waterfront’

Scream screenwriter and Dawson’s Creek creator Kevin Williamson is the man behind The Waterfront, a new Netflix original drama. For generations, the Buckley family’s wealth gave them immense power and influence in their fishing town. Now, with the family facing financial ruin, Harlan Buckley (Holt McCallany) has decided to partner up with a drug lord called Grady (Topher Grace).

Harlan’s son, Cane Buckley (Jake Weary), isn’t fully on board with the idea. But once the family is in the drug business, they have to protect themselves at all costs, especially since the DEA is closing in on their new operation.

The Waterfront will stream on Netflix on June 19.

4. ‘Untamed’

The investigation will uncover some of Yosemite’s darkest secrets, as well as a few secrets from Eric’s past. Sam Neill, Wilson Bethel, Lily Santiago and Rosemarie DeWitt will round out the cast of this series.

Untamed will stream on Netflix on July 17.

3. ‘FUBAR’ Season 2

FUBAR season 1 introduced Arnold Schwarzenegger as Luke Brunner, a CIA agent who had no idea his daughter, Emma (Monica Barbaro), unknowingly followed him into the family business. Since discovering the truth, Luke and Emma have been working together as a team to take down terrorists.

The first season ended with the Brunners on the run after their identities were leaked to their enemies. Judging from the trailer, it looks like the entire CIA team is in witness protection and forced to live under the same roof. Carrie-Anne Moss is also joining the cast as Greta Nelson, a former East German spy who reenters Luke’s life.

FUBAR season 2 will stream on Netflix on June 12.

2. ‘Squid Game’ Season 3

Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) returned in Squid Game season 2 because he wanted to bring down the horrific games of life and death. Gi-hun even helped start a rebellion inside the games, which was crushed when his ally,  Hwang In-ho (Lee Byung-hun), revealed that he’s been the Front Man all along.

Now, the games are beginning again in the third and final season of Squid Game. And if Gi-hun thought the contests were deadly before, they’re even more lethal in the aftermath of his uprising.

Squid Game season 3 will stream on Netflix on June 27.

1. ‘Wednesday’ Season 2

Jenna Ortega is back in Wednesday season 2, as the title character returns for her second year at Nevermore Academy. Last season, Wednesday’s would-be love interest, Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan), turned out to be a monster. Wednesday and Tyler will meet again at some point in season 2, but there are brand new mysteries to dive into.

'Wednesday' Season 2 Teaser Introduces Haley Joel Osment as a Serial Killer

Christopher Lloyd, who played Uncle Fester in the two Addams Family movies from the ’90s, has also joined Wednesday season 2 in a currently undisclosed role.

Wednesday season 2, part 1 will stream on Netflix on August 6. Season 2, part 2 will follow on September 3.
