Hoda Kotb is celebrating her new chapter after her final Today show appearance.

The 60-year-old broadcaster took to social media on Monday, January 13, with a positive message about starting over. “And suddenly, you know… it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of new beginnings,” read a quote she shared via her Instagram feed.

In the caption, Kotb added, “Here’s to everyone starting fresh— @craigmelvinnbc and @savannahguthrie ….. @jennabushhager and friends.. and to me! Lets do this!”

The shout-out came as Craig Melvin prepared to step in as Kotb’s replacement on the NBC morning show. Kotb announced in September 2024 that she would be leaving the series after nearly 30 years working at the network. Melvin’s new role was confirmed two months later.

Hoda Kotb Officially Exits 'Today': Biggest Moments From Her Final Episode

“I want to, obviously, thank NBC and the folks here who deemed me worthy,” Melvin, 45, said at the time, noting that he felt “beyond excited and grateful” for the new opportunity. “I’ve enjoyed just a lifetime of blessings, and this is the latest in a long line of blessings.”

Kotb assured her colleague that he was “made for this job,” adding, “You are that kind of good. You have all the things that this job needs. You’re the right person for it.”

Following months of buildup, Kotb officially said goodbye to the Today show on Friday, January 10, concluding a week-long “Hoda-bration” in her honor. She got emotional while praising her cohosts, including Savannah Guthrie, and wished Melvin good luck on his new journey.

“Savannah, oh, my God. You’re my person, you’re my person. You know who shows up for everybody? This girl. … She’s in the room, she’s always in the room, and I love you,” she gushed. “Craig, I’m so happy for you. You’ve earned this, you own this, and come Monday at 7 o’clock a.m., I am gonna be dead asleep. But you’re gonna be fantastic. You’re gonna bring it home. Craig, you’re gonna be so good. You and Savannah are gonna be magic.”

During Monday’s episode, Kotb sent a video message to Melvin to celebrate his new role. She wrote him a letter, which was read on the air after Guthrie found it in hidden in the studio. Melvin was overcome with emotion as his family supported him at the broadcast.

Kotb previously explained that her departure from the Today show was inspired by her daughters, Haley, 7, and Hope, 5. She further detailed her decision in a letter shared via Today.com last fall.

“I’ve been weighing this decision for quite a while — am I truly ready?” she wrote. “But, my sixtieth birthday celebration on the Plaza felt like a shift. Like a massive, joyful YES, you are! I saw it all so clearly: my broadcast career has been beyond meaningful, a new decade of my life lies ahead, and now my daughters and my mom need and deserve a bigger slice of my time pie. I will miss you all desperately, but I’m ready and excited.”

Kotb added at the time that she planned on staying “a part of the NBC family,” calling her time at the network “the longest work relationship I’ve been lucky enough to hold close to my heart.”

With Melvin filling her shoes on the morning show and a rotating list of guest hosts joining Jenna Bush Hager on Today With Jenna & Friends, Kotb is ready to sit back and relax — even turning off her early morning alarms.

“No alarm…whaaaaaaaattttt???” she teased via Instagram on Sunday, January 12, before her first day off the air.

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma Wear Wedding Dresses to Watch Tennis

While many brides quickly pack their wedding dresses away to gather dust in garages and storage units for decades, Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma are squeezing the most value out of theirs — the newlyweds wore them again to the 2025 Australian Open, just a few weeks after their big day.

The couple first wore the beautiful pastel gowns for their legal ceremony in Sydney over the holidays but were eager to show them off again, stepping out at the men’s singles first round match in Melbourne, Australia, on Sunday, January 12. That’s some efficient dry-cleaning!

The Bridesmaids star, 44, and her fashion designer wife, 40, have actually enjoyed two wedding days: for their first ceremony in Sardinia, Italy, in September 2024, they wore matching full-length wedding gowns.

But for their legal ceremony — and the tennis tournament — Wilson wore an off-the-shoulder gown in romantic pale pink from Zimmermann’s resort 2025 collection, while Agruma went for a puff-sleeved blush tea dress with a baby blue trim. Both women also wore their blonde hair pulled back in chic updos, perfect for the balmy Australian summer.

In their first public outing since their (second!) big day, the women watched Germany’s Alexander Zverev compete against France’s Lucas Pouille and attended a Set in Style dinner.

The cute couple first went public with their romance in June 2022 — the same year that Wilson came out as queer. Wilson wrote via Instagram alongside a selfie with Agruma, “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.” A few months later, in November of that year, Wilson welcomed daughter Royce via surrogate. Then, in February 2023, staying true to the Disney theme, the women got engaged in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle at Disneyland in California.

In the months since their original Italian wedding day, Wilson has shared lots of blissful glimpses of married life via Instagram, including a skiing trip in Aspen and Christmas celebrations with Royce, now 2, as well as an emotional new year’s post celebrating her incredible year.

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma's Relationship Timeline

“So pumped to bring in 2025!” she wrote. “What a year 2024 has been! Got married to my gorgeous Disney princess, my little girl is already a little lady, my memoir REBEL RISING was a New York Times Best Seller, the movie I directed had a huge gala premiere at Toronto Film Festival and I got to have some amazing adventures around the world with friends.”

In another post, she declared 2025 “Twenty Twenty Thrive” — and going to a tennis game in a spectacular dress has got to be a pretty thriving start!

Montag and Pratt, who share sons Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months, shared news on Tuesday, January 7, that their home burned down in the wildfires decimating Los Angeles. Since then, the couple have continued to post updates and plead with fans to support them financially amid their devastating loss.

“Thank you for helping support us, helping build us back up, helping to encourage us, give us that hope and faith and excitement in such a dark, dark time,” Montag continued in her video post. “No. 1, ahhh! Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it. And it’s the 15th anniversary of Superficial. So, the timing is just crazy. It’s so crazy, thank you.”

In a video shared by Montag via TikTok on Thursday, January 9, the couple revealed the few items that remained of their house after the fire, all contained in a single plastic bag.

Beyoncé is showing her support for people affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.

The star’s BeyGood foundation shared via Instagram on Sunday, January 12, that it is making a $2.5 million donation to a newly established L.A. Fire Relief Fund.

“Los Angeles we stand with you. 🫶🏽,” the post began.

“The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires,” the nonprofit organization said.

“To show your support for the impacted families and to learn more about BeyGOOD’s mission, please visit https://beygood.org,” the post added.

Wildfires spurred by Santa Ana wind gusts have displaced many Los Angeles residents and ravaged homes belonging to celebrities since they began spreading on Tuesday, January 7. Stars including Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal and Anna Faris lost their homes.

Which Stars Have Been Affected by the Los Angeles Fires?

Last week, Jamie Lee Curtis pledged $1 million to the relief efforts.

“My family is donating $1 million today to the relief efforts,” Curtis, 66, shared in a Thursday, January 9, Instagram post. “We are in contact with Governor [Gavin] Newsom, Mayor [Karen] Bass, and Senator [Adam] Schiff and I will post often about where you can send needed resources to reputable agencies.”

Curtis shared a similar message in the post’s caption, writing: “My husband and I and our children have pledged $1 million from our Family Foundation to start a fund of support for our great city and state and the great people who live and love there.” (Curtis shares daughters Annie, 34, and Ruby, 25, with her husband, Christopher Guest.)

Curtis’ donation comes one day after she got emotional discussing the wildfires during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I’m literally just about to cry,” she said at the beginning of her Wednesday, January 8, interview.

“As you know, where I live is on fire right now. Literally, the entire city of the Pacific Palisades is burning,” she continued. “I flew here last night. I was on the plane, started getting texts and it’s f—ing gnarly, you guys. It’s just a catastrophe in Southern California. Obviously, there have been horrific fires in many places [but] this is literally where I live.”

Kendra Wilkinson knows she’s not that girl anymore.

The Girls Next Door alum and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s former live-in girlfriend took to Instagram on Sunday, January 12, to defend her appearance amid social media criticism over her weight.

“Yes, I’ve gained weight. Yes, I’m aging. Yes, I’m not that girl I was before (Playboy girl) 🤣 but for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy,” Wilkinson, 39, wrote alongside a full-mirror selfie of her physique.

The mom-of-two, who shares son Hank IV, 15, and daughter Alijah, 10, with ex-husband Hank Baskett, added, “Kids are my everything. Feeling pretty balanced. Working out and cooking a lot more. Golf, work. No housekeeper or nanny.”

The Kendra Sells Hollywood star said she is happy with her appearance, though she admitted she will be keeping an eye on her alcohol consumption.

Priscilla Presley Mourns Daughter Lisa Marie on 2nd Anniversary of Death

Priscilla Presley is remembering her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, on the second anniversary of her death.

“I miss you more than words can say. I wish I could hold you, talk to you, see your smile just one more time,” Priscilla, 79, shared alongside a photo of Lisa Marie via Instagram on Sunday, January 12. “I wish you could see how much you are still loved, how deeply you are missed by all of us who carry you in our hearts. -Mom. ”

Lisa Marie died of cardiac arrest in January 2023. She was 53. She was laid to rest next to her son, Benjamin, who died by suicide in 2020, at her father Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate in Memphis, Tennessee. Elvis is also buried there.

Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley Keough also took a moment to remember her mom on Sunday. Sharing a picture of a young Lisa Marie with her teenage daughters, Finley and Harper, 16, she wrote, “2 years ❤I love you always.” She wrote over another photo, “I can’t believe it’s been 2 years. I miss and love you so much mama.”

Lisa Marie Presley Wrote She ‘Always Felt’ Like Priscilla Didn’t Want Her

Last year, Keough finished and posthumously released the memoir Lisa Marie was working on before her death. From Here to the Great Unknown was published in October 2024.

Keough, 35, shared details about the last decade of her mom’s life in the book.

“In the years before she died, my mother, Lisa Marie Presley, began writing her memoir. Though she tried various approaches and sat for many book interviews, she couldn’t figure out how to write about herself,” Keough wrote in the book’s introduction. “She didn’t find herself interesting, even though, of course, she was. She didn’t like talking about herself. She was insecure.”

Keough added, “She wasn’t sure what her value to the public was other than being Elvis’s daughter. She was so wracked with self-criticism that working on the book became incredibly difficult for her. I don’t think she fundamentally understood how or why her story should be told.”

Lisa Marie Presley Through the Years

According to the Daisy Jones & The Six actress, Presley still had a “burning desire” to share her story.

“After she’d grown exceedingly frustrated, she said to me, ‘Pookie, I don’t know how to write my book anymore. Can you write it with me?’” Keough recalled. “‘Of course I can,’ I said.”

She continued, “The last 10 years of her life had been so brutally hard that she was only able to look back on everything through that lens. She felt I could have a more holistic view of her life than she could. So I agreed to help her with it, not thinking much of the commitment, assuming we would write it together over time. A month later, she died.”

Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim Claims Rent Increases Amid L.A. Wildfires

Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim has claimed Los Angeles landlords are illegally raising rental prices amid the city’s wildfire disaster.

Speaking to BBC One on Sunday, January 12, the property mogul and reality TV star, 47, said he allegedly sent a client to a local property that had previously been requesting $13,000 per month in rent. Oppenheim said the client was then asked by the landlord for “$23,000” per month.

Jason, who co-owns real estate brokerage The Oppenheim Group with his twin brother, Brett Oppenheim, told the outlet he condemned the behavior. “There are price gouging laws in California, they’re just being ignored right now, and this isn’t the time to be taking advantage of situations,” heaswqa said during the interview.

The original Selling Sunset star, who rose to fame after first appearing in the show’s premiere in March 2019, added that the L.A. wildfires have left local residents completely broken since breaking out after a severe windstorm on Tuesday, January 7. “Everyone has tears in their eyes all day long, literally from the smoke but also just because it’s emotional to see people struggling like this,” Oppenheim told the outlet.

Jason’s remarks come after Californian authorities warned business owners against illegally lifting item prices beyond 10 percent higher than the costs that existed prior to the wildfire outbreak.

Jason Oppenheim Says Agency Will Represent L.A. Wildfire Victims 'For Free'

The comments also come after Jason announced on Thursday, January 9, that his company is donating services to displaced residents as a result of the fires. “If you’ve lost your home in the Los Angeles fires and you need to find a place to rent until your home is rebuilt, all Oppenheim Group agents will represent you for free or credit you back any commission we receive in the transaction,” he wrote in an Instagram post that day. “Please reach out to us at [email protected].”

The star expanded on the initiative in a video too. “I woke up this morning to a lot of friends and clients reaching out because they lost their homes over the last couple of days and they need help with places to live now,” Jason said. “Their families are displaced and as real estate agents, we obviously have an obligation to help them find a place — even when it’s going to be difficult with thousands of people [are] looking for places and [there are] not nearly as many houses available.”

Selling Sunset's Mary Complains About Economy Seat on Flight Amid L.A. Fires

Several of Jason’s employees echoed the sentiment in the video’s comments section, including Alexandra Jarvis, Davina Potratz, Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet, Polly Brindle and Chrishell Stause.

“We are ready to help down in OC! ❤,” Selling the OC’s Brindle, 38, replied, while Fitzgerald Bonnet, 44, sent multiple heart emojis.

At the time of publication, the Associated Press reported that 24 people have died as a result of the L.A. wildfires, which broke out in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood and surrounding Los Angeles area last week. The outlet noted that at least 16 people were missing, with authorities warning that the number is “expected to rise.”

TikTok Couple Matt and Abby Howard Address Father’s Day Controversy

Abby and Matt Howard
Abby and Matt Howard Courtesy of Abby Howard/Instagram

TikTokers Matt and Abby Howard have reflected on the backlash they received after declaring they were boycotting Father’s Day last year.

During the 100th episode of the couple’s “Unplanned Podcast,” released on Wednesday, January 8, the couple discussed a viral clip from an infamous May 2024 episode of the podcast in which Matt, 26, claimed he would not celebrate Father’s Day until December that year because their June 2023 celebration was “a bummer.” (The married couple share two sons, Griffin, 2, and August, 1.)

Abby, 25, kicked off the couple’s revisit of the clip, which attracted more than 9.4 million views and an avalanche of criticism. “Matt’s Father’s Day birthday saga. That was a memorable moment from [the] Unplanned podcast 2024. How would you rate that moment … one out of 10? You have to include the emotional trauma,” Abby asked Matt in the new episode.

Matt responded, “Oh, my gosh, I can laugh about it now, [but] at the time I was, like, horrified. I think it’s funny now, I’m like, that is so stupid. The words I said … were so stupid as well, I obviously did not sound good at all.”

This TikTok Couple Is, Once Again, Causing An Uproar Amongst Parents

He continued, “I just looked so selfish. I looked so full of myself.”

Despite Matt’s obvious remorse, Abby said she believes it’s “kind of funny in hindsight” before adding that she didn’t actually view the controversial clip and, as a result, didn’t know how Matt came across at the time.

“In general, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with … controversy, but I didn’t watch the clip, and maybe the clip made it look really bad,” Abby admitted. “In which case, that’s on us. I guess we had that one coming.”

At the time, Abby, who was pregnant with the couple’s second child, revealed how she had combined her husband’s birthday with Father’s Day in 2023 because the two events fell on the same day. The pair had also just returned from a babymoon, and Matt had acknowledged that the family was very busy at the time.

TikTok's Matt and Abby Howard Criticized for Dining Without Kids on Cruise

Both Abby and Matt agreed they would be “boycotting Father’s Day in the month of June” as a result of the previous year’s turnout, deciding to celebrate the occasion in September as “nothing goes on in September.”

The high school sweethearts have become somewhat familiar with controversy over the years, attracting criticism again in September 2024 when they revealed they went for dinner with friends on a cruise while their children slept in the family’s stateroom. “So we ended up taking them for five nights and it became apparent that they weren’t enjoying it and therefore we weren’t either,” Abby wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “So, THEN we switched our dinner time to AFTER their bedtime and FaceTIMED the monitors while we ate. And that worked out muchhhh better for everyone!”

The post was met with widespread disapproval despite a source telling Us Weekly that the families on the cruise had “rooms right next door to each other and they were taking turns being there,” adding that the kids “were never alone and the use of the baby monitors was an extra precaution.”

Abby and Matt got married in July 2019 before welcoming their sons. Since becoming parents, the podcast hosts have shared their relationship and parenting highs and lows via their podcast as well as social media.

Andi Dorfman Reveals Why She Needs to 'Fully' Formula-Feed Her Baby

Andi Dorfman

Andi Dorfman has taken to social media to explain why her newborn daughter, Harper, is “fully formula-fed.”

Dorfman, 37, who gave birth to the child, her first and whom she shares with husband Blaine Hart, on December 20, 2024, candidly explained her feeding method via a series of Instagram Stories on Thursday, January 9.

Revealing that fans had DMed her to see whether she’d been breastfeeding her child, the former Bachelorette detailed her situation.

“Okay, first and foremost, my sister and I both were formula-fed babies. So I feel like that was kind of always within my plan,” Dorfman said. “And then I was going to use the breast pump in order to feed her breast milk, and that way I knew how much she was getting.”

Bachelorette’s Andi Dorfman Details ‘Dramatic’ 28-Hour Labor With Baby Girl

Dorfman said that her baby’s unexpected stay within the NICU, where Harper was fed formula, altered her feeding plans.

“So I, in the hospital, tried to pump but my milk had not come in yet,” Dorfman continued. “She was actually doing really well on the formula so we brought a lot of that home from the hospital. I tried to pump a couple times when we got home and my milk supplies still had not come in yet.”

Dorfman went on, “So we just kept on the formula. And then, big wrench got thrown in the plans — as you know, I ended up having to have surgery myself. So that, I feel like, kind of stalled the pumping as well.” The reality TV star was referring to her return to the hospital after she was discharged following her baby’s birth as a result of two hematomas, which are closed wounds where bloody pools are unable to drain out.

Dorfman, who married Hart in Italy in May 2023, said she tried to pump “one or two more times” but was unable to produce any milk.

“Weird part is I never had pain,” Dorfman added. “I didn’t have any engorgements, I didn’t have those side effects that people talk about when they stop pumping. I just kind of skipped over that. I don’t know if that’s because my milk supply just never came in and wasn’t going to or if I kind of missed the window of opportunity or honestly if it was just the plan making its own plan. But here we are.”

Andi Dorfman Hospitalized With Hematomas 1 Week After Giving Birth

Dorfman added that Harper is thriving as she approaches one month in the world. “I hope this story helps somebody,” Dorfman said. “I don’t know why there’s so much judgment and stigma when it comes to breastfeeding or formula feeding or not doing one or the other. But that’s my story. We’re sticking to it.”

The new mom appeared on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season 18 of The Bachelor in 2014 before becoming the next Bachelorette. On her season, Dorfman got engaged to Josh Murray only to split from him within months.

Christine Brown's Daughter Admits She Thought David Proposed 'Too Soon'

Christine Brown‘s daughter Ysabel had some reservations about her mom’s whirlwind engagement to husband David Woolley.

Sister Wives fans watched Christine and David tie the knot on the Sunday, January 12, episode of the reality series, which also documented their loved ones’ reactions to the nuptials. While getting ready for the big day, Ysabel, 21, told Christine when she realized David would be The One.

“We were out of town and he looked at you and he was like, ‘Oh, I love you so much,'” Ysabel said. “Like, just honest and pure. And I’ve never heard somebody say ‘I love you’ that much to you.”

Christine smiled while listening to her daughter, who went on to share a somewhat different story to the TLC cameras in a confessional.

Christine Brown Gives Husband Wedding Day Lap Dance on ’Sister Wives’

“When David first proposed to my mom, I thought it was very soon. I thought it was too soon,” Ysabel revealed. “But I think I’ve had time to, like, adjust to it.”

Christine was previously in a spiritual marriage with Kody Brown for more than 25 years, announcing their split in November 2021. Kody’s relationships with wives Janelle Brown and Meri Brown ended soon after. He remains legally married to Robyn Brown.

Following her split from Kody — with whom she shares six children, including Ysabel — Christine debuted her romance with David in February 2023. He proposed two months later, and the pair exchanged vows in October 2023.

“It’s given me a lot more clarity to see, like, how much they love each other,” Ysabel said on Sunday’s episode. “I’m just excited and happy for them.”

When it came time for Christine to walk down the aisle, she was accompanied by her son, Paedon. “I told [him], ‘Am I supposed to be nervous?'” Christine recalled in a confessional. “I’m not even nervous. And then we started walking and I just looked over at David, and it’s like, ‘There’s my heart.'”

Paedon struggled to hold back tears as he walked beside his mom, telling her that David is “a really good man.” He handed off Christine to her father, Rex, just before they reached the altar.

Sister Wives' Christine Brown's Daughters Don’t Call David Their ‘Stepdad’

While reflecting on Christine’s wedding day, Ysabel gushed over the “perfect” ceremony in Utah. She went on to describe how she’s adjusted to Christine and David “getting married so fast,” sharing that she couldn’t be happier for the couple.

“I think that I’ve gotten time to get to know David and to get to know him, like, as a father and as someone who’s just a really awesome guy,” she told the cameras. “I couldn’t imagine life without him now.”

Christine’s children celebrated seeing her so happy — and they weren’t the only supportive voices. Janelle’s kids were also on hand to help usher Christine into her next chapter.

“For the first time in a long time, it felt like the real Brown family was back,” said son Gabe, whose relationship with Kody has been rocky over the years.

Kody even voiced his support for his ex’s new marriage. “Really where I’m at is Christine’s happy and that’s great,” he admitted, despite feeling “FOMO” about missing the actual wedding day.

Sister Wives airs on TLC Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.

NeNe Leakes Open to ‘RHOA’ Return If ‘Check Was on Point’

Could NeNe Leakes be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta yet again?

According to Leakes, 57, herself, there’s a possibility — as long as the price is right, among other contributing factors.

During an interview with TMZ published on Friday, January 10, the reality TV star responded to RHOA superfan Cynthia Erivo’s recent call for Leakes to return to the series. “Cynthia, I love you, thank you so much and I totally agree,” she told the outlet.

When pushed on whether a return to the show was truly a consideration, Leakes expanded, “I don’t know, if the opportunity was right and the check was on point, why not?” before closing out her response with a cheeky laugh.

The topic was sparked by comments made by Erivo, whose favorite show is RHOA, during an interview with W Magazine that was published on January 3. The Wicked star told the outlet at the time, “I am a NeNe Leakes fan. I love her. Where is she? Bring her back, please. She’s great.”

Leakes was one of the original cast members of RHOA, appearing in the first seven seasons of the hit Bravo series, which premiered in 2008. Although she opted out of entering into season 8, Leakes made a cameo during the cast’s trip to Jamaica and returned to the franchise for seasons 10 and 12 before saying a permanent goodbye in 2020.

Leakes told TMZ that she has “too many things” going on right now in her professional life. “Right now, Sierra [Gates, better known as Sierra Glamshop] and I are here in New York City promoting our new podcast,” Leakes detailed, referring to the Thursday, January 16, launch of the pair’s “Me & My Homegirl” podcast.

Former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Stars: Where Are They Now?

She added that RHOA fans can expect to hear the duo keeping it “1,000 percent real” as they talk about “any and everything, nothing is off limits, from pop culture to relationships to love to finances,” in addition to occasional guest stars.

NeNe also touched on the topic of remarriage following the death of her husband, Gregg Leakes, in 2021, saying, “I don’t know about getting remarried, I don’t mind marriage, and if I find the right one, I’m all theirs.”

Erivo, 38, isn’t the only celebrity fan of the Real Housewives franchise. Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are also self-proclaimed superfans, in addition to Colman Domingo, Jon Hamm and Jessica Chastain.

Rihanna, 36, went so far as to demonstrate her support for her favorite iteration, The Real Housewives of New York City, by wearing a piece of Leah McSweeney’s Married to the Mob streetwear items.

“You’re not exactly my demographic, so it’s all good. I already have Rihanna wearing my s—, I don’t need you wearing my s—,” McSweeney, 42, said on the show when her RHONY costar Ramona Singer took a dig at the clothing line.

The response then spurred Rihanna to share a photo of herself in a “Bitch Mob” shirt in addition to a clip from the scene. She captioned the post via Instagram at the time, “What was said @ramonasinger?😂#RHONY.”

Kayla Wallace Watched O.J. Simpson Trial to Prepare for ‘Landman’ Role

Rebecca Falcone is one of the most powerful characters on Landman — and in order to portray the litigator effectively, Kayla Wallace had to do her research.

During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Wallace, 31, dished on watching real court trials to get in the right headspace for her role in Taylor Sheridan’s drama series. “I was really interested in the questioning and the manipulation of how litigators get what they need out of the questioning itself,” the actress told Us. “I found that to be so fascinating. It’s a whole art on its own.”

Not only did Wallace sit in on a trial in Fort Worth — where Landman was filmed — but she also looked to highly publicized trials on the internet for inspiration.

“I watched some famous cases [and] celebrity trials,” Wallace told Us, noting that included “both” the 1995 O.J. Simpson trial and the 2022 Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial. She also rewatched The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story: “That was super helpful.”

Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Landman’ Unveils 1st Look and Premiere Date

In episode 4, Rebecca proved her prowess as a negotiator by demanding respect during a tense deposition alongside Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton). The dialogue-heavy scene featured Rebecca fiercely telling a sexist attorney, “Do you think they hired me because I’m pretty? I charge $900 an hour … and you’re real close to learning why.”

Wallace admitted that scene was “one of the biggest to tackle,” explaining, “I remember feeling like I’d run a marathon at the end of the day.” Ultimately, she was proud of the result: “It was really wonderful to experience having to build that confidence in her and also in myself.”

For the When Calls The Heart alum, starring as Rebecca — “a powerful, strong, smart woman” — has been a dream. As it turns out, the role was made for her, with Sheridan reworking the character after seeing Wallace’s audition for Ainsley, played by Michelle Randolph.

“I’m so honored that he saw whatever he saw in me and trusted me, almost in a time where I didn’t trust myself at first,” she told Us. She doesn’t take being part of Sheridan’s successful television empire lightly, either: “We all just feel so lucky to have him at the helm of our ship.”

Michelle Randolph Defends 'Landman' Character 'Sparking Conversation'

Working opposite Thornton, 69, was also a masterclass in acting. “It’s really inspiring to watch, and it makes filming a scene so exciting because he’s so in the moment,” Wallace explained. “He’s such a pro, and so incredibly talented — I took a lot away from him.”

In the season 1 finale, Rebecca faced a moral dilemma after she was asked to renegotiate a $175 million farmout lease that would involve fracking. Though there’s no word on a season 2 yet, Wallace hopes to continue bringing Rebecca’s story to life — and she already knows where she’d like to find the “incredibly smart and shrewd negotiator.”

“As they called out in episode 9, she’s not an oil and gas person — she’s a litigator with almost zero knowledge in this field, so I’m excited to see her navigate [a field] that she doesn’t know a lot about,” Wallace told Us. “I also want to see who she is at the end of a workday.”

“I’m ready for more,” she added. “I hope that we get the chance.”

Madison LeCroy Shares What She Eats in a Day Doing 75 Hard

Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy shared her day on a plate while committed to the 75 Hard challenge.

LeCroy, 34, took to social media in the new year to shine a light on her meal plan while on the widely publicized wellness plan, which was created by author and entrepreneur Andy Frisella and involves sticking to six strict lifestyle rules for 75 days straight.

The reality TV star kicked off her 75 Hard journey in early January and told her social media followers that she’s “been flooded with messages about meal plans” ever since.

“I want to clear a few things up,” LeCroy wrote via her Instagram Story. “Nothing fancy! The meals I’m sharing are exactly what they look like. If you see a turkey patty, it’s straight from the store — no secret recipes, no homemade sauces and definitely no lettuce fresh from my garden (because I don’t have one!). I simply make foods and meals I enjoy, especially when I’m working on a program like 75 Hard. I’m happy y’all are excited about it!”

LeCroy then included multiple screenshots of her meals, beginning with “Breakfast Day 1/75,” which featured a glass filled with green juice and a plate dotted with three slices of tomato, a heaped spoonful of cottage cheese and two boiled eggs sprinkled with seeds.

The post was then followed by “Lunch 1/75,” which included a turkey burger patty, “w/ this Carolina BBQ sauce … Salad w/ Annie’s goddess dressing … Rice … Lemon water,” in addition to a side salad of spinach leaves, sliced cucumber and sliced cherry tomatoes.

LeCroy, a trained hair and makeup stylist who joined Southern Charm during season 6 in 2019, then shone a light on the day’s dinner, capturing a plate filled with diced sweet potatoes, a small portion of filet mignon steak and a side of Caesar salad. She admitted in the dinner post that the meal was “not my best, got home late!”

The 75 Hard challenge, which was formulated by Frisella in 2019 and promises to enhance your mental toughness, mental fortitude, confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, self-belief and grit by “100 times,” according to his website, also involves drinking a gallon of a water a day, not indulging in any cheat meals or alcohol, exercising twice a day, reading 10 pages of a book each day and taking a progress picture every day.

Regarding the meal portion of the challenge, subscribers are advised to stick to the same diet as it must be structured and followed consistently for all 75 days. It is unclear what LeCroy’s updated dinner ingredients entail.

One of the toughest elements of the challenge involves restarting from Day 1 if any of the six goals are missed.

Although the rules are rigid, LeCroy hasn’t let it stop her from enjoying the start of 2025. She posted photos of herself enjoying a hotel stay with son Hudson, who was born in November 2012 and whom LeCroy shares with ex-husband Josh Hughes, via her Instagram Story on Sunday, January 12.

LeCroy shared photos of the pair dining at The Charleston Place in South Carolina as well as a look at two breakfast plates delivered to their suite via room service.

‘General Hospital’ Star Leslie Charleson Dead at Age 79

Former General Hospital star Leslie Charleson has died at age 79.

General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini announced Charleson’s death via the show’s official Instagram account on Sunday, January 12.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear friend and colleague, Leslie Charleson,” he wrote. “Her enduring legacy has spanned nearly 50 years on General Hospital alone and, just as Monica was the heart of the Quartermaines, Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew.”

Alongside the message, Valentini shared a photo of the four-time Daytime Emmy nominee smiling. “I will miss our daily chats, her quick wit and incredible presence on set,” he continued. “On behalf of everyone at General Hospital, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to her loved ones during this difficult time.”

‘General Hospital’ Star Kelly Monaco’s Soap Opera Ups and Downs

Charleson began playing the role of Monica Quartermaine on the soap opera in 1977, making her the longest-running cast member on General Hospital.

“I started the show the day Elvis Presley died, and being such a huge fan, I of course was very upset driving to the studios, and then getting there I was told that they hoped I had brought my own wardrobe and makeup because there was a strike going on — and that was before I even got in the building,” Charleson recalled to Soap Opera Digest in 2022.

“Then I got in the building and I realized that no one really liked me, because the girl playing Monica before me was very rudely fired,” Charleson continued, referring to Patsy Rahn, whom she replaced.

After 30 years on the show, Charleson appeared on General Hospital in a recurring status in 2010. Charleson, who has had health ups and downs, had returned to the show a few times — most recently appearing in a wheelchair in December 2023.

How Kelly Monaco Landed Her 'Dream' Soap Opera Role After Career Setback

While speaking with Soap Opera Digest in 2016, Charleson — who was married to Bill Demms from 1988 to 1991 — reflected on her General Hospital legacy.

“It has been quite a long run,” she said at the time. “I am just so pleased because, unlike some of the actors that have come and gone, and gone on to other soaps or other things, this has really been my home since I started here, way back then, hundreds of years ago. I am very grateful to keep working at something that I love to do, and I am certainly grateful that it has endured.”

The Wanted's Max George Wrote a Will Before Heart Surgery

The Wanted's Max George Wrote a Will Before Heart Surgery: 'I Thought I Was Going to Die'

Max George is reflecting on his recent hospitalization for issues with his heart.

“That first night I wrote a will, I thought I was going to die,” George, 36, said in a Saturday, January 11, interview with The Sun.

The Wanted frontman recalled waking up with freezing blue hands on December 11, 2024, while he was staying with his mom.

“I hadn’t been feeling myself for a few days, I started feeling a bit rough,” George said. “I couldn’t put my finger on it. I was quite lethargic and stuff, struggling to get out of bed. But I didn’t think it was anything serious.”

He continued, “Luckily I’d gone around to my mum’s to stay and I woke up and I remember looking at my hands and they were blue, and my arms were a grey colour and I was freezing cold. I struggled to even sit up in bed.”

When George’s mom saw him, she gasped and called a doctor. While George had a check-up and was sent home, his mom continued asking around for help.

“At this point I had a panicky feeling, but was also just absolutely knackered,” he said. “I couldn’t move my arms and the worst feeling was I felt like my throat was closing up. It felt like someone had their hands around my neck. Thank God I stayed at Mum’s house — she saved my life.”

Doctors informed George that something was “not right with the bottom part” of his heart and he would need a pacemaker.

Celebrity Health Scares Through the Years

“For some reason the rhythm is way off and the signal doesn’t seem to be getting from the top chamber of your heart to the bottom part, the bit that pumps the blood around your body,” he recalled the doctors telling him. “I was in complete shock.”

George called the experience “really scary” noting that it was “certainly not a place I thought I’d be in at 36.”

“I was awake all night, feeling a closing in my throat, I was really struggling to move and had really deep, slow breaths,” he said. “There was nothing that they could do to stop that. I could have lived maybe a few weeks, maybe a few months, but it could have been a few hours. We didn’t know.”

Two days after being admitted to the hospital, George’s heart rate dropped to 26 beats per minute.

“Friday, December 13, was the worst day that I had there,” he said. “My heart rate and my blood pressure dropped at the same time, and that was the biggest worry.”

Sean Hayes Recently Went to ER Twice in 1 Night for a ‘Heart Issue'

He continued, “The consultants weren’t there on hand to do the operation in an emergency. It was quite close that night, it really felt like my neck was closing up and that’s when the sort of panic really kicked in. I felt like I was dying. It was the worst, I felt emotional.”

George was taken by an ambulance to a hospital on December 15, where he had a CT scan. He received a pacemaker three days later, with his partner Maisie Smith by his side as he became aware of his surroundings.

“I had a proper heartbeat by then as well. My heart rate started just shooting up. So I remember feeling my feet going tingly, because I think obviously the blood started to properly pump around,” he said.

He continued, “I was like, ‘Holy s—, I feel alive again,’ like it was a really nice feeling. It’d been so hard being away from Maisie, but she climbed on the bed, obviously she lay on the other side of my chest to my op, and put her head on me. We just had a cuddle for a couple of hours while I talked about football and we treated it like normal. I could feel butterflies again next to her.”

Tyler Perry Slams ‘Pure Greed' of Insurance Companies Amid L.A. Wildfires

Tyler Perry slammed insurance companies who implemented policy changes ahead of the wildfires that have devastated the greater Los Angeles area.

“Watching a daughter use a garden hose to try and protect her 90-year-old parents’ home because their insurance was canceled was just gut-wrenching to me,” Perry wrote via Instagram on Sunday, January 12.

“Does anyone else find it appalling that insurance companies can take billions of dollars out of communities for years and then, all of a sudden, be allowed to cancel millions of policies for the very people they became rich on?” the filmmaker continued. “People who have paid premiums all of their lives are left with nothing because of pure greed.”

He concluded, “As I am in the process of trying to figure out what steps to take to do all I can to help as many as I can, I am keeping everyone in my prayers.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, State Farm General, the largest home insurer in California, announced in March 2024 it would not be renewing 30,000 home and condominium policies when they expired — 1,600 of which were located in the Pacific Palisades.

Per the Times, insurance company Chubb stopped writing new policies for high-value homes designated to be at high risk for wildfires, while Allstate also stopped writing new policies.

Tens of thousands of people have been displaced by the wildfires that began a path of destruction through Los Angeles the morning of Tuesday, January 7, when high winds sparked fast-moving brush fires through the Pacific Palisades. The fires have since spread to surrounding neighborhoods, including Malibu and the Hollywood Hills.

According to local authorities, the death toll has reached at least 16 people and is expected to rise as search and rescue efforts continue. NBC News reports that the blaze has burned through 37,000 acres and destroyed over 12,000 structures.

Which Stars Have Been Affected by the Los Angeles Fires?

Over 150,000 people have been placed under mandatory evacuation orders, including stars like Mark Hamill, Jennie Garth and Mandy Moore. A number of celebrities, however, were not so lucky, as their homes were completely destroyed by the fires, including Paris Hilton, Anna Faris, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Billy Crystal, Mel Gibson and Milo Ventimiglia.

According to AccuWeather, the wildfires could be the costliest in U.S. history, with the total economic loss currently estimated to be between $135 billion and $150 billion as of Thursday, January 9.

Erin Andrews Says Husband Jarret Stoll 'Would Rather We Not Be So Public'

Erin Andrews and her husband, Jarret Stoll, don’t always see eye-to-eye when it comes to sharing their personal lives with the public.

“My husband would rather we not be so public — me not be so public,” Andrews, 46, told Success magazine in an interview published on Friday, January 10.

While the couple, who tied the knot in 2017, navigated their fertility journey, the idea of being private came up. “He was just like, ‘Why do we have to say this?’ And I said, ‘Because these waiting rooms are packed,’” she explained.

Andrews has been candid through the years about her fertility journey, sharing in a 2021 essay for Bulletin that she had been undergoing “time-consuming and emotionally draining” treatments since she was 35. In July 2023, the couple welcomed their first child, son Mack, via surrogate.

Erin Andrews Says She’s Considering Baby No. 2, Talks What Scares Her

Now, the couple is thinking about adding another little one to their family. “We’re talking about trying it again,” Andrews told E! News in October 2024. “I was really, really honest with my doctor a couple weeks ago. I just said, ‘We’ve had so much high with the birth of Mack and how great he’s doing that I don’t want to go back to that place of failure again, and I’m really, really afraid of it.’”

Before Mack’s birth, Andrews lost two of her embryos. “It’s crazy, because once you get back on the phone with your fertility doctor and you start talking about the journey again, PTSD all comes back, of how crappy you felt, how numb your body gets, just the fear of loss,” she said.

Andrews noted that she and Stoll, 42, leaned on each other through the emotional process, helping each other by sharing their feelings.

“Sometimes men don’t want to talk about this stuff, but they’re also feeling the feels, too,” Andrews said. “My husband was really, really great after we were going through more lows than highs, just being like, ‘This sucks. This just isn’t great. I feel really crappy, and I feel like a failure,’ and that really helped a lot too.”

While navigating her job responsibilities and parenting duties, Andrews shared that she’s still figuring out a proper work-life balance. “I talked about it on a walk with my husband last night as we were walking our dog — we’ve got a lot going on,” she told Success magazine.

Andrews said the start of the NFL season is when her life gets “absolutely crazy” with her work. “Plus it’s a Super Bowl year,” she said. “We have Tom Brady on our broadcasting crew this year. So it’s going to be a lot.”

Why Caden Prieskorn's Family Didn't Move With Him for NFL Draft Training

Cali Prieskorn Explains Why She and Her 2 Kids Didnt Move With Husband Caden to Train for NFL Draft
Courtesy of Cali Prieskorn/Instagram

Collegiate tight end Caden Prieskorn and his wife, TikTok personality Cali Prieskorn, are navigating a long-distance marriage while he trains for the 2025 NFL draft.

Caden, 25, recently finished his final year playing football for the University of Mississippi. At many of his games, he was supported by wife Cali, also 25, and their two kids. They share son Mac, 3, and daughter Romy, 8 months. (Mac previously went viral on TikTok for doing “lucky [fist] bumps” with the Ole Miss players before each game.)

Cali, however, opted not to leave Mississippi with the kids full-time, instead deciding to travel to see Caden on the weekends.

“My husband just finished his last year of college and football and just moved to Nashville to train for the NFL draft,” Cali said in a Friday, January 10, TikTok video. “I decided to stay back with the kids because Mac still has school, but we’re trying to get to Nashville every weekend.”

She added, “I’m honestly so excited he’s training in Nashville. There’s so much to do and so many good places to eat. This weekend’s gonna be super chill, but it’s going to be nice spending time as a family.”

In another video posted earlier this month, Cali revealed that Caden’s training will last approximately three months.

“I’m so glad he gets to keep pursuing his dreams,” she said in the TikTok clip. “He will leave for a little bit because he got invited to the Shrine Bowl [in Dallas]. He worked so hard, so I’m glad he’s getting that opportunity. I’m going to take the kids down to Dallas, as well, and then he’ll go back to Nashville for training.”

The NFL draft is held annually in April, which is when Caden will learn whether or not a football franchise decided to sign him to their 53-man roster. In her second video, Cali also reiterated why she didn’t plan to uproot her family in order to follow and remain close to her husband.

“Mac is in school and I love his school so much,” she stated. “I think it’s important that they have that structure. I’m just going to split my time between the two [places.] I’ll be in Oxford, [Mississippi] during the week while Mac has school.”

Cali added that she was still “trying to figure out how to balance” solo parenting while Caden is away working out.

“I don’t think it’s going to be easy,” the influencer added. “College football has been so fun. I’m honestly just so excited to see where we’re going and what we’ll be doing. I just feel like this is such a huge step in life [and] I’m so excited to see what happens.”
