Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham says people misinterpreted her comments when she seemed to imply WNBA players would not want to play in Detroit and Cleveland, two cities on tap for expansion teams in the coming years.
Cunningham, 28, clarified what she meant on Thursday, July 3, explaining that she understands the role both cities played in the league’s early days, when Detroit had the Shock and Cleveland had the Rockers.
“First of all, I know the history behind the WNBA,” she said in a video posted via X by Fever reporter Tony East. “I know that both of those cities have had teams before, and they got us where we’re at. So I’m thankful for that.”
Cunningham first drew the ire of fans and athletes from both cities when she said during media availability on Tuesday, July 1, that she didn’t “know how excited people are to be going to Detroit or Cincinnati,” confusing the two Ohio cities. She suggested Nashville and Miami as expansion candidates that were ultimately not chosen.
“All I was getting at is, like, [Nashville’s] Broadway, the off-court lifestyle, and so I think that is intriguing,” she continued. “That’s all I was getting at. I’m thankful for what they’ve done, for our history of the sport.”
The WNBA announced on Monday, June 30, that it will expand from its current 13 teams to 18 by 2030. Toronto and Portland are already set to begin play in 2026, with the league announcing Cleveland, Detroit and Philadelphia joining the fray in 2028, 2029 and 2030 respectively. They all join the Golden State Valkyries, who are in the midst of their first season in the W.
All five new cities are also NBA markets, with several of their ownership groups overlapping.
“I think it’d be fun to kind of get some teams outside the NBA market,” Cunningham said. “I do think there is a benefit when you do have an NBA team. But that’s all I was getting at. I think people misread that situation. I would never speak down upon middle-class, blue-collar working people. That’s where I come from. I’m from Missouri. I get I’m in Indiana, and that’s kind of why I’m hinting at, Broadway sounds fun. All that I was saying.”
Each upcoming team paid a $250 million expansion fee, five times the fee the Valkyries paid in 2023 — a product of the league’s meteoric growth over the past half decade.
Roberts met her now-husband in the early 2000s when she was dating Benjamin Bratt. At the time, Moder was married to Vera Steimberg. After Moder finalized his divorce from Steimberg in early 2002, he wed Roberts that July at her ranch in New Mexico.
Roberts claimed at the time that she wasn’t the cause of Moder and Steimberg’s split.
“He sorted his whole thing out, separate and apart from me,” she said in December 2003. “And I sorted my life out, separate and apart from him. I think that’s the only reason we were able to ultimately fall in love with each other and be together.”
Roberts later implied that none of her relationships had shaken her quite like meeting Moder did.
“I think that first kind of real … ‘seismic shift’ was meeting Danny,” she told Gwyneth Paltrow in 2018. “Getting married to Danny. That was the first, like, my life will never be the same in the most incredible, indescribable way.”
The duo welcomed twins Phinnaeus and Hazel in November 2004. Their third child, son Henry, was born in June 2007. “The thing is, we have these three human beings who are just a complete reflection of the affection we have for each other,” she told InStyle in 2017.
Keep scrolling to learn more about Roberts and Moder’s romance:
Roberts met Moder on the set of The Mexican, where he was working as a cameraman. "He makes me feel my most comfortable self," the actress said of her partner in 2003. "I don't alter myself in any way."
Amid reports that the Mystic Pizza star had caused the breakup of Moder's first marriage, she was photographed wearing a DIY T-shirt that read, "A Low Vera." Asked in 2003 why she wore the shirt, she replied, "It was private. ... I stand by my T-shirt."
The couple wed on July 4 in a top-secret ceremony held at Roberts' ranch in Taos, New Mexico. Guests were asked only to come "celebrate Independence Day" with the couple.
Henry, the couple's third child, joined his brother and sister in 2007. Roberts later said her kids don't really understand how famous she is. "I don’t think they will ever have a true sense of that," she told Harper's Bazaar in 2018. "When they were starting to figure it out, it was like, 'You’re famous?' And I said, 'I think a lot of people might have seen the movie that I’m in or might know who I am.' Maybe an hour goes by. 'Are you more famous than Taylor Swift?'"
Moder scored an Emmy nomination for The Normal Heart, an HBO movie in which Roberts also starred. The couple have worked together several times over the years.
The Golden Globe winner credited her husband for helping her nail her role in The Secret in Their Eyes, another project they collaborated on. "We've done a number of things together, and it's always kind of nerve wracking for me because he's my husband and I want him to think I'm awesome," she said in a behind-the-scenes interview. "But this was a collaboration where I realized that if he hadn't been there I don't think I could have fashioned together the performance that I wanted to."
"This pretty lady and I have been following each other around for awhile," Moder wrote via Instagram alongside an image of his wife walking through tall grass. "Married 15 years today. And look how green our garden still is!!! Love you."
The whole family celebrated Roberts' 50th birthday with a vacation. "No Lovers birthday weekend is complete without a surprise bumping into your kids in a surf shop," the cinematographer wrote via Instagram. "50 is better with 5."
“There’s no way to describe it without sounding sappy or ridiculous because everything in my mind ends with an exclamation point,” the Mona Lisa Smile star told InStyle, discussing her life with Moder and their kids.
Roberts shared a sweet photo while hugging her husband. “Oh Summer, thank you! You made us happy and brave,” she captioned the shot. “We embraced every moment of sun-drenched JOY.”
During an interview for Paltrow's podcast, Roberts talked about how strong her marriage was after 16 years. "He truly, to this day, to this minute is just my favorite human," she said, adding that their connection "just gets deeper" as time progresses. "I'm more interested in what he has to say or his point of view just than anybody. Really, we're so lucky in that way. We just really, really like each other and we just enjoy each other's company."
Roberts told Harper’s Bazaar that she tries to protect her kids from hearing about divorce rumors — but it isn’t easy.
“Sometimes we are in the grocery store and I won’t even know something is out, but we’ll see a tabloid and we’ll all be standing there like, ‘Oh, that’s uncomfortable. This is really uncomfortable,’” she said. “It can still hurt my feelings, because I’m so proud of my marriage.”
"My very funny valentine," Moder wrote via Instagram while wishing Roberts a happy Valentine's Day. "Dressed up so classy for a shoot in a beautiful city, but really bringing joy and laughter with her funny faces and conjured voices. Still pinching myself."
When the family celebrated Mother's Day, Moder marked the occasion with a rare photo of the whole crew. "That pretty mama in the middle," he wrote via Instagram. "We love you so much."
The Runaway Bride star marked the couple's 18th wedding anniversary with an adorable selfie posted to Instagram. "✨18 years✨ #heckyes," she captioned the sweet snap.
The camera-shy couple shared a selfie via Roberts' Instagram on their July 4 wedding anniversary. "19 years," the Pretty Woman star wrote with red, white and blue hearts. "Just getting started!"
During the Cannes Film Festival screening of Flag Day, on which Moder served as cinematographer, Hazel made her red carpet debut, posing with her dad for photos while wearing a lace shirtdress and black Mary Janes.
Moder celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary with Roberts by sharing a throwback photo of them together “on a dusty road before that big idea.” He wrote, “Just holding on to this beautiful girl one day at a time. One epic day at a time.”
For Valentine's Day, Roberts posted a throwback photo of herself sharing a kiss with Moder, adding a drawing of a red heart over the image. Several of her famous pals "liked" the sweet snap, including Sarah Paulson and Jennifer Aniston.
The Ticket to Paradise star commemorated her 20th wedding anniversary with Moder in an Instagram post. "⭐️TWENTY⭐️," she wrote. "#can’tstopsmiling😊#can’tstopkissing😘."
“The life that I have built with my husband, [and] the life that we’ve built with our children, that’s the best stuff. To come home at the end of the day, triumphantly to them,” Roberts gushed during a CBS Sunday Mornings interview about her husband and three children.
Roberts referred to Moder as the “anchor” in their family.
“It all starts with Danny Moder, you know?” she said during an appearance on Today. “And in the most beautiful way, [he’s] the captain of our ship. Truly.”
This 4th of July weekend, Netflix is the place to watch films that are perfect to celebrate America’s 249th birthday.
Among the three underrated Netflix movies the What to Watch team has selected are Born on the Fourth of July, an anti-war movie starring Tom Cruise, and Wrath of the Titans, a fantasy sequel to Clash of the Titans.
Finally, what’s more American than a good old-fashioned comedy about swapping bodies with your younger self? Stream 17 Again with Zac Efron if you’re in the mood for some fun — and a few laughs.
‘17 Again’ (2009)
Body swap comedies have always been popular, from the original Freaky Friday to the ‘80s flicks Vice Versa and Like Father, Like Son. The premise got a modern polish with 17 Again, which stars Matthew Perry as disaffected 37-year-old Mike O’Donnell, whose life is in shambles. His wife is divorcing him, he just lost his job and his two teenage kids hate him. A chance encounter with a janitor on a bridge somehow transforms him back to his 17-year-old self (Zac Efron), giving Mike a second chance to make things right.
17 Again doesn’t have a lot of surprises in its story; if you’ve seen one body swap comedy, you’ve seen them all. But much like the 2004 version of Freaky Friday with Lindsay Lohan, this movie works because of its two leads. Perry is believably self-deprecating and cynical as the weary older Mike, while Efron is convincing as a young Mike who relishes exploiting all the advantages of youth.
We’re stretching the meaning of “underrated” with this selection, since it was nominated for a slew of Oscars and won Best Director for Oliver Stone. Still, does anyone really talk about it anymore? Even among Tom Cruise fans, it’s not as fondly remembered as his other films like Risky Business, Top Gun or Magnolia. That’s not right, as Cruise gives one of his best performances ever in a movie that still packs an emotional punch.
Cruise plays Ron Kovic, a real-life Vietnam War soldier who is shot and paralyzed while in the line of duty. After he returns home, he suffers from PTSD, drug abuse and depression, which almost kills him before he finds a new cause in life as an anti-war protester.
Born on the Fourth of July doesn’t flinch at showing the horrors Kovic went through in Vietnam or the indignities he suffers as a paraplegic who is mistreated by the health care system. Cruise’s all-American persona is used effectively here as Stone’s indictment of how American politicians lied to their people and sold a war that didn’t need to be fought by Kovic and thousands of other men like him.
Sometimes, you just want to leave your brain at the door and watch respected British actors fight fantastical CGI creatures. If that’s you, then you’ll probably like Wrath of the Titans, a sequel to the 2010 version of Clash of the Titans. It’s no masterpiece — heck, it’s not even that good — but it’s fun and silly, and it gives you exactly what you want.
Ten years after the events of the first film, demigod Perseus (Avatar’s Sam Worthington) enjoys retirement with his young son. His solitude is shattered when his father, Zeus (Liam Neeson), asks for his help. Since humans don’t pray to the gods anymore, they are losing their power by becoming mortal. Their lack of faith is also weakening the walls of a prison that is holding the vengeful Kronos. When he escapes, all hell breaks loose, and only Perseus can stop him.
Superman star Nicholas Hoult has gone from bald to blonde.
The two-time Golden Globe Award nominee, 35, debuted platinum locks while promoting Superman — in which he appears completely bald as villain Lex Luthor — in New York City and London this week, alongside costars David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan (who play the Man of Steel and Lois Lane, respectively). Hoult’s fans definitely seem to be feeling some hair-related whiplash from seeing him with two such distinct looks.
“My brain doesn’t have the capacity to hold a single thought other than blonde Nicholas Hoult,” one fan wrote via X, with another quipping, “Blond Nicholas Hoult is really f***ing doing it for me, my god. He is feeling himself and I too would like to feel him.”

His Superman costar Brosnahan is seemingly partial to Hoult going hairless as Lex Luthor, having recently told Interview magazine on June 16 that he was “making bald men hot again.”
Hoult has had some memorable hair transformations on the big and small screens throughout his career. He stole the hearts of a generation of British teens with his brunette bangs while portraying high school bad boy Tony Stonem in the coming-of-age drama series Skins.
He previously went bald — and sported unforgettable chrome war paint — as the renegade War Boys member Nux in 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road and was covered head to toe in blue fur as Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast in the X-Men movies.
He revealed to Bleeding Cool in 2011 that it literally took “four hours” every day on the set of X-Men: First Class to apply Beast’s signature fur.
“Once the transformation to Beast takes place, that’s four hours of makeup and prosthetics with a full mask and wigs and fur and a big rubber muscle suit. That’s quite a transformation,” he acknowledged.

Hoult has most recently followed in the footsteps of the late Gene Hackman and Jesse Eisenberg by playing the iconic DC Comics villain Lex Luthor in director James Gunn’s Superman. He honored Luthor’s classic comic book look by going completely bald for the blockbuster.
At Superman’s U.K. premiere on Tuesday, July 1, Hoult revealed that someone very special helped him get ready to play Lex.
“I shaved [my hair],” he confirmed to the Associated Press. “It was great. I actually got my older son to get the clippers and I said, ‘Go on. Do your worst!’”
Asked whether he was “scared” of the amateur haircut, Hoult admitted: “No, it was clipper! I mean, there was only so much [he could do]. And also, [my hair] was all going anyway so it wasn’t like he could give me a bad haircut!”
Hoult and his wife, model Bryana Holly, share two children: 6-year-old son Joaquin and a second child whose name has not been publicly revealed. Hoult seemingly confirmed he’d privately wed Holly by referring to her as his “wife” at the Governors Awards in Los Angeles in November 2024.
The couple have rarely spoken about their relationship since getting together in 2017, though Hoult was uncharacteristically direct when asked whether he’d secretly wed Holly in November 2024.
“I think it’s fairly clear,” he told People at the time.
Cierra Ortega’s decision to save Taylor Williams from elimination on Love Island USA didn’t exactly make sense after his split from Olandria Carthen — so what could have motivated that controversial choice?
During the Thursday, July 3, episode of the hit Peacock series, America’s ranking for the least favorite boys and girls was shared with the Islanders. The guys at the bottom were Taylor, TJ Palma and Austin Shepard, while the girls at the bottom were Jaden Duggar, Gracyn Blackmore and Andreina Santos.
The villa could only save one person out of six, so imagine Us’ surprise when Taylor, 25, received the most support despite being named least genuine guy after choosing Clarke Carraway over Olandria, 27.
But the most surprising show of support came from Cierra, 25, who was the only girl who stood behind Taylor. It didn’t add up for some viewers who questioned where Cierra’s girl code came in after voting to save the man who publicly embarrassed her friend Olandria.
Others, however, had their theories about what caused the divisive vote. The top theory was that Cierra just followed Nic Vansteenberghe’s lead after he stood behind Taylor. Cierra and Nic, 24, just closed their connection off, so her choice could have been out of support for her partner.
Ben Symons/Peacock
It feels important, however, to remind viewers that Nic’s decision didn’t exactly add up either. Just this week, Nic and Olandria coupled up after the Casa Amor shakeup nearly led to both of them being dumped from the villa.
Nic and Olandria got a second chance if they explored their chemistry, which fans have been rooting for off screen. They did, and it even seemed like Nic was questioning his future with Cierra because of Olandria before they changed their minds. Nic then had a front-row seat to Taylor trying to vote Olandria off at the recoupling. If anything, Nic should have stood behind anyone else but Taylor, if you ask Us.
The other popular theory is that Cierra was just going by majority vote. She realized Taylor would get the most support and followed everyone else. But there is also speculation that as a self-proclaimed Love Island USA fan, Cierra’s vote was much more calculated.
By standing behind Taylor, Cierra was making sure TJ, 23, couldn’t remain in the villa with Iris Kendall. Outside of Cierra and Nic, TJ and Iris, 25, are the only other couple strong enough to make it last until the season 7 finale later this month. If TJ left the villa, it would work in Cierra and Nic’s favor so they could ultimately be crowned the winners.
Love Island USA follows a group of singles who have to pair off in order to stay in the show’s luxury villa in Fiji. The contestants — who are referred to as Islanders — live in isolation in a villa and are under constant video surveillance. They must be coupled up to remain on the show and to stand a chance to receive the prize of $100,000.
As of right now, the Islanders still left standing include Cierra, Nic, Taylor, Clarke, Olandria, Ace Greene, Amaya Espinal, Bryan Arenales, Chris Seeley, Elan Bibas, Huda Mustafa, Pepe Garcia Chelley Bissainthe and Zak Srakaew.
New episodes of Love Island USA will be released six days a week — except for Wednesdays — on Peacock.
“I understood the final verdict,” the unnamed juror said during a Thursday, July 3, interview with Laura Coates on CNN. “I took a copious amount of notes overall, I think 350 pages worth of notes. Because at the end, we weren’t told who was an alternate, who was a main juror, until literally the last second, when the judge was reading his entire statement at the end.”
As an alternate, the juror did not deliberate with the 12 people who did, but he told Coates he would have delivered the same verdict.
“Reading all my notes, and looking back at the evidence, I probably would have reached the same conclusion as the other jurors,” he said.
The jury delivered their verdict on Wednesday, July 2, after less than three days of deliberation. They found Diddy, 55, guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. (The rapper pleaded not guilty to all charges following his September 2024 arrest.)
During the weeks-long trial, the jury, including the alternates, saw footage of the alleged “freak offs” that Diddy orchestrated with his ex-girlfriends and various sex workers. Spectators could not see the footage in court, but the juror who spoke to CNN claimed it was “very graphic.”
“If we’re looking at it from one side, it was definitely riveting and eye-opening,” he told Coates, adding that he didn’t think Cassie “didn’t seem forced” in the videos she appeared in. “It was actually pretty tame. It was a lot of rubbing oil and stuff on there. It wasn’t anything too graphic.”
Cassie, 38, testified for four days in May about the alleged physical and sexual abuse she experienced during her relationship with Diddy, which lasted off and on from 2007 to 2018. She previously accused him of abuse in a November 2023 lawsuit, which sparked the government’s investigation. She and Diddy settled that suit out of court one day after she filed.
Months after Diddy denied the allegations in Cassie’s lawsuit, CNN published surveillance footage of him physically assaulting her in 2016 at the InterContinental hotel in Los Angeles. The jury saw unedited footage of that attack during the trial, and Cassie claimed that it showed Diddy attempting to drag her back to a freak off she didn’t want to participate in. (Diddy publicly apologized for the video in a May 2024 Instagram post.)
The alternate juror who spoke to CNN agreed that the surveillance video was “very bad” but, like Diddy’s defense attorneys, noted that he was not charged with domestic violence.
Following the verdict, Diddy’s attorneys asked that he be released on bail, but Judge Arun Subramaniandenied their request. For now, he remains incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. His sentencing is scheduled for October 3, but there will be a remote hearing on Tuesday, July 8, to discuss the possibility of an expedited sentencing. He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison for the two transportation charges, which each carry a maximum sentence of 10 years.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 for confidential support. If you or someone you know is a human trafficking victim, contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888.
Peter Kraus from Rachel Lindsay‘s season of The Bachelorette is engaged to girlfriend Hana Ostapchuk.
“Throughout it all, it was always you. I just had to find you. I love you,” Kraus, 40, wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 4, alongside photos from his proposal to Ostapchuk, 34. “Words cannot express the love and happiness we feel. Last night was truly magical and only possible because of an amazing support system of incredible people in our lives! We are so thankful.”
Kraus continued: “Thank you Marge and Jim for sharing your home. Thank you @jenniferrayephoto for the incredible photos. And thank you Mom, Dad, Jack, Lori, and Andy for giving us your blessings and love! We are ENGAGED!! .”
Kraus has been dating Ostapchuk since 2024. Before going public with Ostapchuk, Kraus’ search for The One was documented on season 13 of The Bachelorette. After vying for Lindsay’s heart, Kraus walked away the runner-up. Lindsay, 40, subsequently got engaged to Bryan Abasoloafter an infamous argument with Kraus on screen where he told her to “go find someone to have a mediocre life with” during their breakup.
“I think I felt that I knew in that moment that I could provide a very healthy, happy relationship with this person. Whether that was true or not, I can’t tell you. But in that moment, it’s what I felt,” Kraus explained on the “Almost Famous” podcast in May. “The relationship that I had built with her to that point seemed like it would be a lot of fun to be in after that time.”
Kraus clarified his “very hurtful and inappropriate” comment.
“I did say those words, which I won’t even repeat because I think they’re really gross,” he added at the time. “And I tried to apologize for it, but that only means so much when it’s in front of millions of people and you’re already hurt and feeling betrayed, I’m sure, by someone who could say that to you.”
Lindsay, meanwhile, has previously called out the focus on her breakup from Kraus over her engagement to Abasolo, 45.
“For me, the reason there was so much emotion [in the finale] was because that was closure for me, that was it,” Lindsay exclusively told Us Weekly in 2018. “And I really haven’t talked to him because I don’t have anything else to say. From what I hear, he’s doing well too.”
Lindsay and Abasolo ultimately got married in 2019. After more than four years of marriage, Us confirmed in January 2024 that they had filed for divorce, which was finalized one year later.
“I was very surprised when I saw that it happened. I was very sad by the fact that so many people were championing the fact that it did happen,” Kraus added in May, noting that it was “disgusting” and “sad to see” the public’s reaction to their split.
“I figured if they were able to make it through all that hardship that they experienced after the show — because it seemed like so many people turned on them, and there’s so much dramatization of the downfall of their relationship prior to it even not succeeding — I figured if they can make it through that, they can make it through anything,” he added.
This 4th of July weekend, HBO Max is celebrating America’s birthday by streaming movies that feature sex, drugs and — fast food?
Watch With Us has combed through the streamer’s library and selected these three underrated HBO Max movies for you to stream this weekend.
One film is a naughty rom-com with Brokeback Mountain’s Jake Gyllenhaal and The Devil Wears Prada’s Anne Hathaway, while another is an entertaining documentary about an extinct cultural landmark.
The final selection is a notorious cult classic that works as a drama and a comedy.
‘Love and Other Drugs’ (2010)
Womanizer Jamie (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a pharmaceutical sales rep who strikes gold when Viagra is invented. He’s lucky in love, too, especially when he meets the brazen and horny Maggie (Anne Hathaway). They soon initiate a strictly casual sex affair with no emotional ties to one another. But when Jamie finds out a secret that Maggie doesn’t want him to know about, he can’t help but develop real feelings for her. Will Maggie reciprocate, or will she push him away to protect herself from getting hurt?
Love & Other Drugs is an odd mishmash of sex comedy, sweet rom-com and semi-serious look at how Viagra changed American culture. It doesn’t quite work as the latter, but Gyllenhaal and Hathaway’s chemistry make it entertaining as a naughty love story with ample amounts of nudity. They’re believable as two people in lust and later, in love, enough so you wonder why they haven’t starred in another movie together ever since.
If you’re over the age of 40, chances are you remember — or used — an automat, even if you don’t quite know its name or how it even worked. That’s OK, though, because if you want The Automat, you’ll know everything about what was once a part of everyday life for many people worldwide.
The documentary explores the origins of the automat in 19th-century Germany, where the waiterless fast food vending machine was first introduced. It then traces its quick adoption by early 20th-century America, especially big cities like New York City and Chicago, and its rapid decline after the ‘60s. The Automat features interviews from people you’d expect, like Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner, to people you don’t, like Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Colin Powell. It’s a deep dive into an invention that was overlooked during its time and almost forgotten about today.
Is it an unintentional comedy? A serious look at how Clinton-era American society uses and abuses women? Or is it simply a bad movie that exploits its female stars? The genius of Showgirls is that it’s all of those things and more — a camp classic that’s directed like a slick action-thriller, performed by lead star Elizabeth Berkley with her every move in ALL CAPS and a script with bad dialogue but smart ideas. It’s a one-of-a-kind classic, and the least erotic movie of all time.
Nomi Malone (Berkley) is a Las Vegas stripper who dreams of being a legit dancer in the Stardust showgirl revue. To get there, she’ll have to do some pretty shady things, like sleeping with the show’s entertainment director, Zack (Kyle MacLachlan), and undermining the show’s star, Cristal (Gina Gershon). But the closer Nomi gets to realizing her ambitions, the more she begins to lose her friends and morality. How far will she go to make it to the top?
Juliana Marins, the hiking influencer who fell from a volcano in Indonesia on June 21, died from internal bleeding caused by damage to organs and bone fractures, an autopsy showed.
The Brazilian tourist, who was 26, fell from a cliff near a trail next to the crater of the 12,000-foot high Mount Rinjan. The accident sparked a three-day search for her, which concluded on June 24 when authorities finally found her body.
Evidence showed Marins survived the initial fall and is believed to have died less than 20 minutes after her bleeding began. Her injuries “stemmed from blunt force trauma a few hours before the body was recovered,” according to a report from Agencia Brasil.
The autopsy also showed that the injuries to her abdomen that affected her respiratory system were the most severe.
The final results of the autopsy are expected in roughly two weeks and will include toxicology tests. Coroner Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Alit confirmed there were “no signs of hypothermia or prolonged suffering after the injury.” He estimated her time of death to be between 1 a.m. and 1 p.m. the day her body was recovered.
“The Brazilian government informs, with deep sadness, the death of the Brazilian tourist Juliana Marins, who had fallen from a cliff surrounding the trail near the crater of Mount Rinjani,” the Brazilian foreign ministry said in a statement translated by CBS News that same day.
The statement continued, “At the end of four days of work, hindered by adverse weather, terrain and visibility conditions in the region, teams from the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency found the body of the Brazilian tourist.”
An Instagram account created to focus on the search effort quickly accrued more than a million followers. A post from her family also confirmed her death.
“Today, the rescue team managed to reach the place where Juliana Marins was. With great sadness, we inform you that she did not survive,” the post read. “We remain very grateful for all the prayers, messages of affection and support that we have received.”
The family has requested a second autopsy in order to confirm Marins’ date and time of death, and to uncover any information potentially omitted by Indonesian authorities.
A local police chief confirmed that investigators are still interviewing witnesses, including a trekking organizer and local guide.
Marins’ guide, Ali Musthofa, denies any negligence on his part, saying he recommended the hiker rest while he left her alone for no more than three minutes. When he returned, she was gone. He claimed to be able to hear Marins calling for help at the time but was unable to reach her.

The Valley‘s Janet Caperna is speaking out after death threats from Bravo viewers caused her to lock her social media accounts — and leave the U.S.
Janet, 35, spoke to the Daily Mail on Thursday, July 3, about her decision to go to Switzerland with her husband, Jason Caperna, and their 18-month-old son, Cameron, as a result of the online abuse.
“I’m sick of threats and slurs being normalized because ‘we signed up for this when we joined reality TV,’” she told the outlet. “That’s sick and not normal and I’m not ever going to pretend it’s normal or acceptable to message strangers threats and slurs.”
“It’s sad to me that people go this far, it’s definitely the worst part about this ‘job,’” she continued. “I’m learning how to put boundaries on social media in place and learning as I go.”
Her statement concluded, “I support healthy dialogue around reality TV and think some of the best conversations about modern culture stem from shows like ours.”
Koury Angelo/Bravo
Janet has faced backlash since she joined season 1 of The Valley in 2024. After being accused of landing the show because she was a Vanderpump Rules fan, Janet continued to weather public dislike about her feud with Kristen Doute.
The targeted negativity continued when The Valley returned for season 2 in April. Janet initially remained silent but has since used her platform to call out the harassment on her “This Side of the Hill” podcast.
Janet’s podcast cohost Jared Lipscomb referenced specific messages during the Wednesday, July 2, episode, saying, “I’m gonna read a couple, and they’re really just not nice.”
One message that was read on the podcast said, “I hope you die a slow and painful death, you are so ugly. Are you actually a man? You are evil and I wish death upon you, you piece of s***.”
Another Bravo viewer wrote, “It’s a shame your son is still breathing you little [n-word] lover.”
Janet claimed that some trolls researched the names of her family members to mention them in their targeted messages.
“This isn’t constructive criticism,” she said on Wednesday. “I understand that I put my life out there and I’m gonna get comments, good and bad — this isn’t that. It makes me wonder, how many people throughout my day am I interacting with that are like this behind closed doors?”
She added, “Like, when I’m checking out at the grocery store, is that person messaging someone that they don’t like hate like this?”
Elsewhere in the podcast, Janet hinted that one of her costars interacted with the hateful messages.
“I had a former friend who responded to someone’s comment questioning the safety of my child, questioning whether I had a drinking problem,” she claimed. “This former friend decided to respond with a laughing, jokey emoji, and I’m so disappointed in that.”
“Gretchen and I had a great friendship at the beginning but I’m sorry that this is one of those friendships that will not be able to recover,” Alexis, 48, exclusively shared with Us Weekly at Galyna Saltkovska’s Golden Afternoon at Truly Blessed Jewels in Newport Beach, California. “She showed too many true colors to me back then.”
Gretchen, 46, and Alexis appeared in the Bravo series together from season 5 to season 8. Alexis returned to the show as “friend” of the cast for season 18 and Gretchen will hold the title for season 19.
“You don’t know how it’s going to air, but I wish her nothing but the best,” Alexis said. “I just know that that friendship for me is done and all I can do is pray for her and wish her the best and she’s gonna need the prayers.”
According to the season 19 trailer, Gretchen will find her feud with former costar Tamra Judgereignited. The dynamic has already made an impression on some cast members, including Emily Simpson.
Jo De La Rosa, Alexis Bellino and Galyna SaltkovskaTruly Blessed Jewels
“I think her return was different than what I expected and I’ll just leave it at that,” Emily, 49, previously told Us at Swirl Boutique in Carlsbad, California. “I had different expectations of what Gretchen would be like, and I would say she was different than what I envisioned.”
For Jo, 44, who was previously engaged to Gretchen’s current fiancé, Slade Smiley, Bravo’s latest casting decision caught her by surprise. (Jo and Slade were engaged the first two seasons of RHOC but broke up in 2017. Jo later married Taran Gray in 2022.)
“I am actually surprised that they asked Gretchen to come back, because I thought she got fired,” Jo told Us while celebrating season 2 of The McBee Dynasty. “I look forward to watching everybody who’s on the cast. With [Gretchen and Slade] being back on this season, I think it’ll be interesting to see how they kind of mesh with the rest of the group.”
As for Jo’s reaction to Slade being engaged and not married after accepting Gretchen’s proposal in 2013, the former cast member doesn’t want to speculate.
“I don’t have a theory, just because it’s not really any of my business what goes on between the two of them, and why haven’t they tied the knot,” she said. “I’m sure a lot of people are speculating.”
While they may not be part of the season 19 cast, both Jo and Alexis are rooting for the cast to succeed when new episodes begin later this month.
Alexis added that she is “relieved” to not be part of the drama as she continues planning her dream wedding to John Janssen.
“I’m not gonna lie, the trailer looks good,” she said. “I do have friends that I talked to on the season, so I do know it’s gonna be a good season. And I’m excited for the girls. I hope that they knock it out of the ballpark.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County returns to Bravo on Thursday, July 10, at 9 p.m. ET. Catch up on old episodes anytime on Peacock.
Peacock may not always have the top-tier movies, but it’s almost always got an eclectic mix of films.
That comes in handy if you want to find something off the beaten path.
Ahead of the long holiday, the Watch With Us team has selected the three underrated movies to watch this weekend.
Our picks this week include an unusual drama, a very effective horror film and one of the funniest movies that isn’t meant to be half as hilarious as it turned out to be.
Samantha Kingston (Zoey Deutch) dies very early in Before I Fall, so it comes as a surprise to her when she wakes up reliving the same day over and over again. Even when Sam manages to avoid her own death, the day keeps endlessly repeating. And if she’s stuck in a Groundhog Day-style time loop, then she’s going to go all the way.
But with so much time on her hands, Sam eventually realizes that the loop isn’t really about her at all. It’s a second chance to reevaluate the relationships in her life and try to save someone who has been emotionally abandoned by her friends and classmates.
When Luke (Miles Robbins) was a child, he had an imaginary friend named Daniel (The White Lotus season 3’s Patrick Schwarzenegger). Despite the title of Daniel Isn’t Real, he was just the best pal a guy could have — until he tricked Luke into doing something evil. Years later, Luke is very self-conscious about his potential for mental illness. And that’s when Daniel reenters his life.
At first, Daniel’s return is a good thing for Luke. He always knows just what to say, and he’s a great wingman when it comes to picking up ladies. However, Daniel is becoming increasingly able to take control of Luke’s body. Suddenly, Luke has to contend with the possibility that he’s either going insane or there’s more to Daniel than he ever suspected.
For a film that isn’t actually supposed to be a comedy, Street Fighter is full of some of the most hilarious bad acting you’ll ever see from Jean-Claude Van Damme. That’s not the only thing that makes this video game movie an unintentional comedic masterpiece. The late Raul Julia turned in an over-the-top performance as the film’s main villain, M. Bison, who has some genuinely funny lines.
The story is a narrative mess that somehow turns a game about a martial arts tournament into a G.I. Joe knock-off with Van Damme as Col. William F. Guile, the leader of a multi-national military task force attempting to depose Bison. Ming-Na Wen and Kylie Minogue have co-starring roles as Chun-Li Zang and Cammy White, and most of the game’s characters are represented. But ultimately, it comes down to Guile vs. Bison. This film is the textbook example of a movie that’s so bad it’s good, and we love it.
Tiffany Trumphas offered a glimpse at her and husband Michael Boulos‘ son, Alexander.
President Donald Trump’s youngest daughter took to Instagram on Thursday, July 3, to share the first photos of her and her baby. The social media post also included family snapshots of Tiffany, 31, and Boulos, 27, spending time with their newborn, who rocked beige crochet overalls with a matching teddy bear and bonnet.
“The love of our lives, ATB,” she wrote alongside the adorable post.
Tiffany has kept her son largely out of the public eye after giving birth in May. “Welcome to the world our sweet baby boy, Alexander Trump Boulos,” she wrote via Instagram that month. “We love you beyond words! Thank you for coming into our lives!”
Tiffany’s father was the first to break the news of her pregnancy during a presidential campaign stop in November 2024. “Trump announces at the Detroit Economic Club that his daughter Tiffany is pregnant,” CNN reporter Alayna Treene shared via X at the time after Donald, 79, shared the announcement and shouted out Michael’s father, Massad Boulos, by name.
“He happens to be the father of Tiffany’s husband, Michael, who’s a very exceptional young guy,” Donald said at the event. “And she’s an exceptional young woman. And she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice.”
Tiffany and Michael started dating after they met while vacationing in Mykonos, Greece, in 2018. They made their relationship Instagram official less than one year later, and Michael popped the question in 2021.
“It has been an honor to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael!” Tiffany captioned an Instagram pic of her and Michael at the White House. “Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter! .”
Tiffany’s family offered their stamp of approval ahead of their 2022 nuptials.
“Celebrating Michael’s 27th Birthday and so grateful for the blessing of our families coming together,” Tiffany’s mother, Marla Maples, wrote via Instagram in August 2024. “Michael, I am so inspired by the Love and Friendship that you and Tiffany share On this your birthday week & always, I wish you abundant joy, endless love, and that you always keep God as your partner Love, your “mom-in-love” mom-in-law never felt like the proper label.”
Tiffany is the second youngest of Donald’s five kids and his only child with Maples, 61. Donald shares his eldest three kids — Donald Jr., 47, Ivanka, 43, and Eric, 41 — with his late ex-wife, Ivana Trump, and his youngest, son Barron, 19, with his wife, Melania Trump.
When Calls the Heart is returning for its 13th season in 2026 — but fans will have to wait and see if it’ll take place in Hope Valley.
“Psst. I got news. When Calls the Heart is returning for a season 13 and we are so excited,” star Erin Krakow, who plays Elizabeth Thornton, confirmed via Instagram in March 2025. “We can’t wait to get back to Hope Valley to tell more of the stories you love. We’ll see you on Hallmark for a baker’s dozen season.”
While Krakow, who married WCTHcostar Ben Rosenbaum during the offseason in June 2025, said she was excited to return to Hope Valley, Hallmark hasn’t confirmed how long that will take.
During the season 12 finale, Elizabeth and boyfriend Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) hopped on a train to Cape Fullerton, revealing they didn’t know when their blended family would return.
When the cast reunited in June 2025 to begin filming, they shared glimpses of the familiar Hope Valley set, hinting that fans will see both locations this season.
At the end of season 12, which aired in March 2025, Elizabeth had a difficult decision to make about her future in Hope Valley. After her son, Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich), had an issue with his diabetes insulin supply that resulted in him having trouble waking up, Elizabeth decided to leave her home and move to Cape Fullerton (where there is an insulin lab) for the foreseeable future.
Elizabeth worried about what would happen between her and boyfriend Nathan after recently becoming a couple. She tried to wait for Nathan to return from his shift as a Mountie to tell him her plan in person but eventually had to leave for the train with Little Jack.
As soon as Nathan learned what happened he and daughter Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller) headed to the train station. When they met up with Elizabeth and Little Jack en route to the train, they revealed that the family sticks together. “Where you go, I go,” Nathan told Elizabeth, noting that they would be coming to Cape Fullerton.
Is Brook Shields Coming Back?

The season 12 finale revealed that Elizabeth and Little Jack would be moving to Cape Fullerton to better regulate his insulin and diabetes. The relocation to the bigger town opens the door for Little Jack’s grandmother Charlotte Thornton (Brooke Shields) to return, as she is the one who informed Elizabeth about the insulin lab in the city. Charlotte is currently running a boarding house in town, hinting that their paths will cross.
Charlotte was last seen during season 3 of the show. She is the mother of Elizabeth’s late husband, Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing). Shields has not publicly confirmed her return nor has Hallmark.
When Was Season 13 of ‘When Calls the Heart’ Announced?
Ricardo Hubbs/Hallmark Media
In March 2025 — as the season 12 finale was about to air — the network confirmed that the show would be back for another season.
“Hey #Hearties, time to rejoice!!! When Calls the Heart will return for season 13! We’ll see you back in Hope Valley in 2026. ,” the show’s official Instagram page read at the time.
There’s a New Showrunner
Ricardo Hubbs/Hallmark Media
Executive producer Brian Bird announced in March 2025 that Joy Gregory will take over as showrunner for the new season. “I’m pleased to be on this Zoom with Joy Gregory, our fantastic season 12 writer and executive producer, who is joining us again for season 13 as our showrunner,” Bird said during an appearance on “The Official Hearties Aftershow” podcast.
He added: “We’re so thrilled with that. Joy did such an amazing job this year on the show. Her first year on the show, but she just got it so quickly. Picked up the world, picked up the values, picked up the vibes. And brought her own to it, too, which is what we always love about our fantastic writers.”

Krakow announced via her Instagram Story on June 30, 2025, that “Day 1 of WCTH SEASON 13!!!!” was about to begin. She teased the start of production with a photo of her alarms set at 3:55 a.m., 4:00, 4:15, 4:25 and 4:45 a.m.
That same day, the actress shared a selfie from set. “#PlaneSetSelfieNotAPlainSelfie ,” she captioned the photo, which showed Krakow on a fake plane winking for the camera.
What’s Next for Jack Wagner and Melissa Gilbert’s Characters?
Jeff Weddell/Hallmark Media
Jack Wagner, who plays Bill Avery, teased that his character’s brief romance with Melissa Gilbert’s Georgie McGill could turn into something more next season. (Gilbert appeared on two episodes of WCTH during season 12 as a forensic investigator.)
“They brought Melissa Gilbert on the show last year, and I kissed her at the end of our one episode, and that kind of created a little romance for Bill,” Wagner told TV Insider in June 2025, revealing, “Melissa’s coming back this year, so they’re going to keep this going, which I think is terrific.”
The actor called Gilbert “great” and said he’s excited to be taping into Bill’s romantic side moving forward. “I haven’t been playing that at all on When Calls the Heart, so for me, it’s like plugging into Jack Wagner from the ’80s or ’90s. I realized that’s why I’m having so much fun,” Wagner added. “It’s like, ‘Wow, I’m dusting off my old charming romance guy. Let’s dust this guy off.’”
Will Nathan and Elizabeth Get Engaged?
Jeff Weddell/Hallmark Media
McGarry exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2024 that Nathan and Elizabeth’s romance would be a slower burn — that would sprinkle over into a possible wedding. “It took five years to get to the kiss, so I mean, we got lots of time to envision what this wedding [is] going to look like,” he confessed. “I will say if and when it happens — when and if it happens — I hope it’s special to them.”
While fans have been wanting an engagement since Elizabeth and Nathan became a couple at the end of season 11, showrunner Gregory explained that season 13 will focus, in part, on their coparenting of Little Jack.
“They’re going to coparent someone who has a chronic illness,” Gregory said during “The Official Hearties Aftershow” podcast in March 2025. “And while we certainly aren’t going to dwell in the kind of peril that we brought to the end of our season, we do want to honor the reality of that and how it might change Elizabeth.”
She revealed, “I’m excited to lean into watching their relationship mature together and that’s going to be through good times and challenges.”
How Will Allie Evolve?
Ricardo Hubbs/Hallmark Media
“We’re excited to bring Allie into young adulthood. [Jaeda has] grown into such a talented actor who can handle anything we throw her way,” showrunner Gregory said of Nathan’s daughter during a March 2025 episode of “The Official Hearties Aftershow” podcast.
She noted Allie’s “bond with Jacob [Shoemay] on screen, who plays Oliver, is really lovely and working so well. We’re excited to develop their friendship together.”
When Will ‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 13 Premiere?
Ricardo Hubbs/Hallmark Media
Hallmark Channel announced in March 2025 that the series will return sometime in 2026.
Caitlyn Jenner‘s close friend and former manager Sophia Hutchinsdied at age 29 following an ATV accident on Wednesday, July 2.
TMZ reported that Hutchins was riding an ATV near Jenner’s Malibu, California, home when the vehicle was plunged 350 feet into a ravine after colliding with the bumper of a car. Hutchins was pronounced dead at the scene, while the two people in the car she struck were not injured. It’s not clear whether Jenner witnessed the deadly incident.
After appearing in several episodes of the E! docuseries I Am Cait, which premiered in 2015, Hutchins eventually became Jenner’s business manager. Like Jenner, Hutchins was a trans woman, having come out in college.
While Hutchins frequently attended Hollywood functions at Jenner’s side — including annual Academy Awards festivities — the pair always insisted that their relationship was strictly platonic.
Jenner initially tried to shut down insinuations that she was dating Hutchins in 2018 when Variety asked to explain their connection.
“We are not going to get into that,” Jenner insisted at the time. “But we are very close. We do a lot of things together. We’re kind of inseparable. We’re the best of friends.”
Hutchins also addressed the rumors in a 2019 interview with The New York Times by revealing that she was dating a Harvard graduate who worked on Wall Street.
“[Caitlyn and I] were never romantically involved,” she said.
Asked why she thought many assumed she was Jenner’s girlfriend, Hutchins theorized: “Because we weren’t addressing it. I don’t feel a need to address my sex life, quite frankly, unless I want to.”
Hutchins also offered some insight on her working relationship with Jenner, claiming that she stepped in to stop people from “taking massive advantage” of the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.

“I was saying, ‘Caitlyn, if I don’t step in here and start managing you, you’re going to go broke,’” she alleged in 2019. (Hutchins graduated from Pepperdine University in 2019 with a finance degree.)
While working with Jenner, Hutchins brokered the athlete turned reality star’s appearance on the British reality showI’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! in 2019 and negotiated numerous paid corporate speeches for her.
She famously clashed with U.K. TV host Piers Morgan in 2019 over a combative interview where she was repeatedly asked about her love life.
“If you’re not an item [with Jenner], why aren’t you an item?” Morgan asked during Hutchins’ appearance on Good Morning Britain.
“Was that a real question?” Hutchins asked. “We have a really special relationship. I don’t think we need to be an item to have a really special relationship, so to speak.”
She went on, “I am here for Caitlyn 1,000 percent and Caitlyn’s here for me 1,000 percent. I think the best way to describe our relationship is that we are partners in every sense of the word. When it comes to work, absolutely there for each other 100 percent. When it comes to family and our personal relationship, absolutely there for each other 100 percent and there’s no denying it.”
Hutchins later complained via Instagram about Morgan’s repeated questions about the nature of her relationship with Jenner.
“Good Morning Britain, having Piers Morgan is your biggest mistake,” Sophia wrote at the time. “What a joke of a journalist he is. What a pathetic line of questioning he had for me this morning. Totally not cool.”
Hutchins resided at Jenner’s Malibu mansion while managing her career and revealed on Heather McDonald’s “Juicy Scoop” podcast in 2020 that there were similarities to “living with your parents.”
“Last week, we had to put a lock on my door because Caitlyn decided to barge into my room while I had a [male] friend over,” she shared. “You know, [she] kind of saw a lot of things happening.”
She teased, “I’m like, ‘Oh, this might be a turning point where I might need to move out.’ … I don’t want to leave her by herself, but she also knows that I’m getting older and I want to be able to have my own life.”
“I really like living there. My office is based out of there,” she added. “She converted the guest house into our office space. Everyone on my team is in the city. It’s tough to have everyone always drive [to us].”
More recently, Jenner clarified in October 2023 that even though she was “very single,” she was “not even close to looking for a relationship.”
“I’ll never have a relationship in the future,” she emphatically told The Times U.K. “I just don’t see that in my life. I am not looking for that.”
Princess Kate Middleton will join Prince William for a carriage ride through the streets of Windsor with French President Emmanuel Macron when he visits next week, Buckingham Palace has announced.
Macron, 47, and his wife, Brigitte, are scheduled to visit the U.K. on Wednesday, July 8. Kate and William, both 43, will greet them at an airbase near London before the four proceed to Windsor, where King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be waiting.
Charles, 76, and Camilla, 77, will then join the party in a carriage procession through town.
Kate’s involvement in the ceremony is significant as it comes on the heels of the most recent state visit in December from the Amir of the State of Qatar. The Princess of Wales was absent for major parts of the visit from Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, as she continued her recovery from cancer treatment.
During that visit, she helped greet the couple and took part in the parade but was absent from the banquet.
Just last month, Kate was scheduled to appear at the Royal Ascot before the list of attendees was revised at the last minute and William attended with Charles and Camilla.
Kate’s presence during Macron’s visit is a welcome sign after she gave a candid update about her health earlier in the week when he visited Colchester Hospital in Essex on Wednesday, July 2.
“You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment,” she said. “Treatment’s done, then it’s like, ‘I can crack on, get back to normal,’ but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.”
“You’re not necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you’re not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to,” she continued. “And actually, someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment, I think is really valuable.”
Kate added that as she adjusted to life post-treatment, she struggled to find her “new normal.”
“That takes time,” she said, “and it’s a roller-coaster, it’s not smooth, like you expect it to be. But the reality is you go through hard times.”
Kate first announced in March 2024 that doctors had diagnosed her with an undisclosed type of cancer. She immediately stepped back from public duties as she was undergoing chemotherapy and announced her treatment was completed in September of last year.
“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she said at the time. “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
“You are adorable,” she says. “I am so happy to meet you. All of my exes have been bald. I prefer bald men.”
While Gino jokes that he may need to take his baseball cap off, the TLC reality star instead decides to visit an ice bar in Las Vegas for a chilly date.

“This is like being in the Antarctic,” he says before ordering an Old Fashioned cocktail. “This is awesome.”
While viewers will have to tune in to see how the date goes, Gino’s potential new love interest seems to be having a great time.
“In my past relationships, I haven’t had the best of luck with men,” she says. “I’m divorced twice, and since then, I’ve had nothing but toxic relationships. I tend to pick the bad boys. The thing about Gino that kind of made me attracted to him was the fact that he was a little on the nerdy side. He wasn’t like this macho man, and so he seemed very safe.”
Gino finds himself at a crossroads during the season premiere of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?

In a March episode of 90 Day: The Last Resort, Gino tried to give his relationship with Jasmine another chance by agreeing to an open marriage. In the tell-all special one month later, however, he expressed regret about his decision.
“Overall, after all this was done, I regret agreeing to open marriage,” he shared on the 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort Tell-All. “But I felt like I was trapped in a corner. Like, I had to make a decision, take action, because nothing was working for us.”
While the pair ended up parting ways, Jasmine still has a lot of love and respect for her estranged husband. And yes, she will be part of the new season of Happily Ever After?
“I will never be able to hate someone that once I loved that much,” she shared in a previous episode. “I think that deep in his heart, he can say whatever he wants to people, but he truly knows how much I love him.”
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs on TLC Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.
You’ve probably heard that retinol is the gold-standard ingredient in anti-aging skincare, working to diminish fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots in as little as a few weeks. Retinaldehyde is an even stronger form of retinol, and even though it’s more likely to cause irritation, Avéne found a way to keep it gentle yet effective in the Retrinal Intensive Multi-Corrective Cream.
Amazon shoppers and dermatologists have been raving about the formula’s effectiveness at treating deep set wrinkles, age spots and dullness, calling it a ‘time machine in a bottle.’
You won’t experience any of the ‘retinol scaries’ with this potent cream, thanks to the plush, pillowy soft texture and thoughtful formula. Retinaldehyde may be three times more powerful than retinol, but because it’s paired with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, there’s a buffer for your skin. The latter two ingredients flood your complexion with hydration and protect your skin barrier, so you won’t experience any dryness or rough spots.
Avéne has always made their products with sensitive skin top of mind, and those who have tried the fan-favorite formula are already seeing results.
“I am pretty skeptical when it comes to claims by anti-aging products, but this cream really works,” one happy Amazon shopper writes. “I have been using the cream every other night for just over a month and my fine lines are actually diminishing. I have dry skin and have tried similar products in the past, but they were too drying on my skin. That was not the case with this cream, and my skin feels hydrated and smooth.
“I use this every night and have for 6 months now,” another reviewer wrote. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin and how it feels. It has helped clear up old acne scars, softened lines and scars, and I think it helps keep hormonal jaw line acne to a minimum.”
If you’re new to retinol (and especially retinaldehyde), slowly work this cream into your routine. Smoothing this on your skin just one or two nights a week can make a significant difference over time.

Zac, 28, was asked about his pet in a TikTok comment on Thursday, July 3, which read, “I remember that u have a dog except ur beautiful kids. Is he OK?”
In response, Zac wrote back, “We ended up giving him to a close family member who can take much better care of him and give him the love he needs!”
The couple haven’t previously addressed rehoming their dog as they prepared to expand their family again. Jen, 26, and Zac started dating in 2018 and got married one year later. After welcoming kids Nora, 2, and Luca, 22 months, Jen and Zac joined the cast of Hulu’s reality series about a group of Mormon mom influencers in Utah.
The first season, which premiered in September 2024, highlighted the challenges in Jen and Zac’s marriage, which eventually led to an offscreen separation.
“It was definitely rocky after season 2. We were both in a different mindset and there’s a lot to navigate,” Jen exclusively told Us Weekly in May. “With me doing the show and Zac in medical school, we’re kind of finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel after all of that chaos.”
Jen said season 2 documented “the worst of what happened in our relationship,” adding, “But again, it is all things that we’re grateful for and I hope we can talk more about it after everyone has seen season 2. I haven’t seen season 2 so I don’t really know what happens. There is effort on both ends of a relationship and you’re both willing to put in that work. You can always make it work and that’s kind of what happens.”
After highlighting the issues in their marriage, Jen and Zac were able to reconcile before she gave birth to their daughter, Penelope.
“[This experience] forced me to get help when it came to my mental health because I knew that it wasn’t just affecting me, — it was affecting this baby that was coming into this life,” Jen explained to Us at the time. “So it really was the biggest blessing that could have happened in our marriage. It was really what made a shift in my life and made me realize no matter what happens in our marriage, I want to be the best version of myself.”
Jen added: “I don’t think I was that beginning of season 2 and pregnancy is what ultimately led me to that. Now that I’m in a better place, I’m truly grateful for this baby and all this pregnancy journey has taught me.”
Jen confirmed on Wednesday, July 2, that she and Zac are now officially a family of five. “Baby Penelope is here & she is perfect,” she wrote via Instagram. “Going unmedicated was truly the most painful but empowering experience of my life. I could not have done it without Zac and my supportive doula! I’m so grateful and so happy that Penny is earth side now.”
