'Marvel's Runaways' Cast Reacts to Julian McMahon's Death at 56

The Marvel’s Runaways cast will forever remember their late costar Julian McMahon.

McMahon played Jonah, an alien magistrate, on the Hulu series, which aired from 2016 to 2019. The Marvel Television show was adapted from the comic book of the same name, highlighting a group of teens in Los Angeles who run away from their respective parents when they find out about their nefarious deeds under Jonah’s leadership. Jonah is also the biological father of teen Karolina Dean (Virginia Gardner).

“The show is pretty full-on,” McMahon said during a December 2018 appearance on AOL’s Build Series. “I really enjoyed this season [2] because we shot a lot of stuff in 70 mill. It’s all digital, but 70 mill, so everything’s got this epic, kind of seismic vibe to it.”

Runaways was canceled in November 2019 after its third season. McMahon died six years later after a battle with cancer. He was 56.

“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” his wife, Kelly McMahon, said in a statement shared on Friday, July 4. “Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.”

She continued, “We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”

In addition to Kelly, Julian is survived by 25-year-old daughter Madison, whom he shared with ex-wife Brooke Burns.

Wersching, who also privately battled cancer ahead of her death, played Jonah’s ex Leslie Dean.

‘8 Simple Rules’ Alum Amy Davidson Gives Sobriety Journey Update

Amy Davidson is opening up about her ongoing sobriety journey and how she sidesteps any potential pitfalls.

“Let’s talk triggers. I went to one of my favorite wineries/restaurants to celebrate a dear friend of mine yesterday and was surprised (and not fully prepared) by my reaction,” Davidson, 45, wrote via an Instagram post on Friday, July 4. “I felt like I was slapped in the face with a huge life lesson. Being around wine, something I would drink every single day, with girlfriends celebrating a friend’s milestone birthday, everywhere I looked we were surrounded by wine and wine and more wine — it was challenging at first and I got in my head big time.”

Davidson went on to explain that she quietly asked herself “what would happen if I had a sip or just one glass of wine?” while “feeling envious” of the people who were “able to enjoy it without the internal dialogue of wanting more and more.”

“Being amongst the ‘normalcy’ of drinking alcohol and not participating was a very big step for me,” she continued. “I haven’t participated in six months. I’m slowly changing my headspace from missing wine to being beyond grateful for not consuming it anymore. It sneaks up on you. The cravings, feeling like it’s going to fix a bad day, like it’s your best friend you get to hang out with on the couch, your sidekick, your confidence builder, your liquid courage.”

Blake Lively, Kim Kardashian and More Stars Who Don't Drink

She added, “Sorry friends, but that’s all bulls***. Alcohol simply takes from us and what we think it gives us in return is a facade. I’m not preaching I’m just sharing. I’ve been learning way too much not to share… Anyway, we’ll save it for another day.”

In February, the 8 Simple Rules alum announced she was 30 days sober in another Instagram post.

“I am one month sober — today. And counting. And I’m so happy,” she said at the time. “I feel really good and I am excited and I’m looking forward to sharing my journey.”

Since then, Davidson has documented her sobriety journey while celebrating important milestones, including 100 days sober.

“Gratitude doesn’t even explain it,” Davidson wrote at the time after achieving her 100-day milestone. “I’ve been pretty MIA lately. Not sure why? I will try to be more present. I am still here to share my experience, possibly help you with yours, and seek advice from those who are ahead of me.”

Brooks Nader Suffers Wardrobe Mishap in White Skirt on Her Period

Brooks Nader selected the perfect tennis whites to wear to Wimbledon — until she unexpectedly started her period while watching the match.

“Tries to be chic,” Nader, 28, wrote via TikTok on Friday, July 4. “Starts 🩸 at Wimbledon.”

The model wore a cap-sleeve black blouse with a long white skirt to watch the tournament on Friday. In her video, she spun around to reveal that the back of her crisp, white skirt had a small blood stain.

“Of course 🎾 #wimbledon,” she added in her caption.

Nader’s unfortunate wardrobe malfunction was all too familiar to her social media followers.

“You’re so real for this,” a TikTok user wrote, with another adding, “A canon event for all us girlies.”

A third chimed in, “🩸happens. Thank you for NORMALIZING it 😎.”

Another social media user joked that the issue happened “the one time” that Nader chose to wear “something non-sheer and maxi.”

The Most Embarrassing Wardrobe Malfunctions of All Time

“LITERALLY,” Nader replied. “Back to sheer.”

Brooks went to watch the tennis championship with her sisters Grace Ann Nader and Sarah Jane Nader. Brooks and her siblings, including sister Mary Holland Nader, are famously close and even recently filmed a Hulu docuseries called Love Thy Nader about their tight-knit bond.

“There’s four of us. I can’t even count on one hand how many of them there are,” Brooks exclusively told Us Weekly in May. “You can expect everything to be laid out there. There’s chaos, there’s drama, there’s boys [and] there’s girls. There’s everything you can imagine under the sun. Just four girls from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, living in the big city in SoHo — all under the same roof. What can go wrong?”

She added, “We grew up from very humble beginnings. We just had this dream; we all shared the same dream, and we moved to New York City and we’re just chasing that.”

Brooks further teased to Us that the new series will also feature a “little crossover moment” with the Kardashian sisters, who have their own Hulu docuseries.

Love Thy Nader premieres on Hulu later this summer.

Glen Powell Dons His Best Tennis Whites While Attending 2025 Wimbledon

Wimbledon 2025 is well under way and the stars are out in full force — including Glen Powell, who showed up dressed to impress.

Powell was photographed attending the annual tennis tournament on Saturday, July 5. The actor, 36, arrived wearing an off-white patterned suit and a white button-up underneath. To complete the tennis-worthy look, he wore brown loafers, dark sunglasses and a spiky hairstyle.

The actor isn’t the only famous face who has been spotted at Wimbledon this week. The tournament, which has historically been well-attended by members of the British royal family, has featured appearances from Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra in addition to plenty of high-profile couples.

Louis Partridge and Olivia Rodrigo, who confirmed their relationship in December 2023, were spotted in the Royal Box during the Gentlemen’s Singles second round match between Carlos Alcaraz of Spain and Oliver Tarvet of Great Britain on Wednesday, July 2. Chopra and Jonas were also seen at the same match.

Tom Cruise, Zendaya and More Stars Step Out at Wimbledon Finals

Dave Grohl and his wife Jordyn Blum also attended the tournament this week, a rare outing for the duo since the Foo Fighters singer admitted to an affair and fathering a baby with another woman in September 2024.

Powell is currently gearing up for the September 2025 release of his Hulu comedy series Chad Powers. The half-hour series is inspired by Eli Manning’s 2022 ESPN+ docuseries Eli’s Places.

“We’re both diehard college football fans. When we saw Eli as Chad Powers, we knew that was the way into a big, fun story about this world,” Powell and cocreator Michael Waldron said in a joint statement shared in February 2024. “We’re excited to be part of this team, and can’t wait to get Chad in the game. Think fast, run fast.”

Both Eli Manning and his brother Peyton Manning serve as executive producers on the show.

Glen Powell’s Look for New Show ‘Chad Powers’ Has the Internet Talking

“I thought he looked unbelievable. I mean, he looked terrible, which is hard for Glen to look really bad. He looked bad like I did!” Eli exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2024. “I’ve been talking to him, working with him a little bit in the offseason and to get him ready. And he’s fired up to play quarterback and to play Chad. He’s gonna do a great job. I can’t wait to see him in action.”

Eli added that he never imagined the skit would turn into a full-fledged series.

“Who would’ve ever known?” he also said. “I thought it was a funny idea: ‘Go and try out for a Penn State football team. Have a little fun.’ I hadn’t played football in a couple years, and so [I wanted to] see if I can still throw it and go back out there and compete. And now it’s turning into a show on Hulu. I mean, it’s unbelievable.”

8 Weeks Reporting From the Sean 'Diddy' Combs Trial: What It Was Really Like

“It’s not a f***ing game!”

A woman erupts in the middle of the courtroom and points to Sean “Diddy” Combs, the besmirched hip-hop mogul at the center of the sprawling sex trafficking and racketeering case that ran for eight weeks.

“Diddy, these motherf***ers are laughing at you!” the woman shouted before court marshals forcibly escorted her outside. “Pull your gun out, ninja. I dare you!”

In that moment, I suddenly felt compelled to pop outside to check on her. It was my 15th day covering the Diddy trial, and I was no stranger to chatting up every recurring face that appeared at the courthouse. I had met this woman, known as the “MTA Lady” — a nickname adopted by reporters and court marshals alike — on the first day of jury selection. In the early weeks, she showed up every day in the same uniform — navy cardigan, burgundy tie and her signature MTA cap — like a cartoon character who never changes outfits.

But outside, I walked into the storm of something even more chaotic. Two influencers were verbally sparring, teetering on the line of a fistfight, as a sea of media junkies swarmed them with phones and cameras.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Found Guilty of Transportation, Acquitted of Other Charges

“Who the f*** is the clout chaser?” shouted a woman in a black cowboy hat and slouchy sage green utility pants. As the man lifted his phone attached to an elongated selfie stick, she sneered, “Oh, I see! Clock that! Let’s go viral!”

He shot back, “Back away before you get smacked.” (It’s worth noting that this same influencer was later spotted dousing himself in baby oil after the verdict was read.)

Meanwhile, a Diddy trial “regular” began pacing back and forth. He waved his hands up in the air and proclaimed, “This is the start of a war!”

At this moment, what was happening outside the courthouse became more interesting than the testimony unfolding on the stand.

I rode the elevator back up with the bug-eyed male influencer, still buzzing on about the fight. And in an ironic twist, the female influencer he was screaming at ended up sitting directly in front of me. I couldn’t help but peer over the civil complaint form resting in her lap. She was conjuring up a suit against Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Ciara and Russell Wilson and, for reasons I still don’t fully understand, the National Football League.

I’ve always been fascinated by characters. We all have our own quirks — and watching those eccentricities meld together and coexist in the wild is one of the great joys of being human.

Diddy’s alleged “quirks” — his freaky, baby-oil-dependent pastimes — are now more than well-documented. Reporters from dozens of media outlets, plus a barrage of self-assigned content creators and public informants, were on the ground covering the trial in lower Manhattan.

But what most reporters weren’t interested in all too much were the surrounding everyday folks attending the trial. What motivated a random person to sit in federal court at 2 p.m. on a random Wednesday afternoon?

To many legacy reporters, these folks were nuisances (and, to be fair, many were). But as the trial marched on, I found myself more intrigued by the cast of barnacles clinging to its hull. The wide variety of characters — and the bizarre motivations that connected them — started to become my favorite unraveling storyline.

The witty court marshals, mostly retired cops and veterans, ramped up surveillance fast as chaos festered inside. No talking is allowed while court is in session, but reactions always accompanied the show.

Diddy Supporters and Critics Fight About Cassie Outside Court Over Verdict

After the defense grilled psychologist Dawn Hughes on how she coordinated with the government, a prosecutor asked for a sidebar — and the overflow room erupted.

“Ooooooh!” Jabs flew. “They got her good!” “That’s a red flag!” “I’m talking about this on the podcast today.”

I scribbled in my notes, “The characters are clapping.” I felt like I was living through a sitcom.

When I studied abroad in London, my friend Joe handed out empty notebooks to the unhoused people he interacted with on our daily commute to class. He’d tell them that if they filled out every page, they’d receive a crisp £20 note. Most lost the notebook, others scribbled nonsense, but a few returned some fascinating material.

In that same vein, I handed out a survey to dozens of public patrons attending the trial. I didn’t have the budget to hand out $20 like Joe, so to incentivize them, the top of the survey read: “You are currently witnessing one of the most important trials of the century. Help me paint the picture.”

I asked them about the case, the atmosphere in the courtroom, and how their own experiences with abuse shaped their lens.

The first person I spoke to claimed he was Diddy’s college roommate. He reminisced about the big house parties they’d use to throw, and how they’d pass out invites around campus. Others with alleged ties to Diddy wore them like a badge of honor.

The tapestry of humanity on display never ceased to amaze me, with pupils of the law absorbing the unconventional strategies of attorneys on both sides. One mother who traveled from Las Vegas wrote in her survey, “My son is a criminal justice major at Michigan State University and I wanted him to experience the trial in the courtroom!”

A former sex worker who described himself as a “victim of Hollywood elites” came looking for closure. He wrote, “My sister was murdered by her husband who is a broke version of Diddy.”

One woman who’s worked with the White House on anti-trafficking initiatives attended all four days of Cassie Ventura’s testimony, the 8 ½-months pregnant star witness who dated Diddy for 11 years. Calm, confident, and composed, she told me she was there to support survivors of sexual assault. And as we continued to chat, she opened up about the 15+ years she was trapped in a sex trafficking ring.

Artie, an 86-year-old from Pennsylvania with a walker, said he’s observed more than 200 trials since retiring. His character read on Diddy? “He should never get out of jail cause he’s such a bad guy.”

During closing arguments, a teacher led a single-file line of middle schoolers into the back pews of the overflow room. I lost count of how many parents showed up with their children. But it was the strollers that perplexed me the most.

One couple from L.A., who both worked for Disney, were joined by their 8-month-old baby who started crying in the courtroom at one point. The couple described the trial as a must-see event akin to the other tourist attractions that New York has to offer.

“I guess we’re just here to get out of the rain,” the husband told me. “We’re here to see Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, and — of course — the Diddy trial. This is something we’ll be able to tell our daughter when she grows up.”

So, beyond the allure of fame, what exactly compelled spectators from every corner of the country to watch this trial unfold in person? Was it moral gratification for enduring hours of harrowing testimony that most outsiders couldn’t stomach? The act of exercising their First Amendment rights to shout their version of the truth into the public square? Or maybe something simpler: the aching human need to have a voice.

Cassie Will Be Focus of Diddy Trial, Government Says in Opening Statement

Interconnectedness, or the evolutionary desire to be a part of something larger than yourself, is the driving force here. In one way or another, all of us who attended the trial fulfilled some level of purpose.

That sense of meaning is something Diddy lost — and what might’ve fueled his drug-and-sex-induced dopamine craze.

On his 45th birthday, one of his closest assistants gifted him a scrapbook that cataloged magazine articles from the ‘90s. “Mia,” the pseudonym she testified under, explained that the gift was meant to re-spark the sense of wonder Diddy’s younger self felt as he quickly climbed the ladder of the music industry.

By the early 2000s, Diddy had it all: Grammy wins, platinum records, a fashion empire, his own vodka deal and a king-like reputation as the hip-hop mogul. But by his 45th birthday in 2014, that spark was gone.

“I used to look at the world the way that you did,” Diddy lamented to Mia, “but now that I’ve done everything, life doesn’t have the same meaning.”

For all the repulsive behavior laid bare on the witness stand, those closest to Diddy described being drawn in by his charisma and ability to unite people. And, inadvertently, his trial brought together a ragtag ensemble of misfits to bear witness to what’ll ultimately be judged by history as his extraordinary fall from public grace.

Holly Marie Combs Hopes Julian McMahon, Shannen Doherty Reunite After Deaths

Holly Marie Combs is remembering the legacy of her late Charmed costar Julian McMahon after his death.

“One of a kind is an understatement. Your unyielding zest for life and crazy sense of humor will be sorely missed,” Combs, 51, wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 4. “The joy and laughter you were the direct cause of will always be remembered.”

Combs, Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano played the bewitching Halliwell sisters on The WB’s Charmed. McMahon portrayed Milano’s TV love interest, Cole Turner, during his early career. He died in July at the age of 56 after a battle with cancer.

While reflecting on McMahon’s legacy, Combs shared a handful of throwback show images of McMahon and Doherty, who died in July 2024 after her own cancer battle.

“I hope you find our lady friend and dance in those rose petals🌹,” Combs added, referring to Doherty.

She shared more throwback footage via her Instagram Stories, writing, “RIP. My favorite pain in the ass ever.”

Julian’s wife, Kelly McMahon, confirmed his passing on Friday, July 4.

“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” Kelly said in a statement. “Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.”

She added, “We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”

Julian McMahon's Ex-Wife Brooke Burns Mourns His Death at 56

In addition to Kelly, the late Australian actor is survived by his 25-year-old daughter, Madison. (Julian shared his only child with ex-wife Brooke Burns, to whom he was married from 1999 to 2001.)

Fellow Charmed costar Milano, 52, also offered her condolences to Julian’s family.

“My heart is with Kelly, with Madison — his girls, his world. He adored them,” Milano wrote via Instagram on Friday. “You could feel it in every conversation, every story, every text. He was a family man above all, and he loved deeply. Losing him feels unreal. Too soon. Too unfair. Rest, my friend. I’ll carry your laugh with me.”

According to Milano, Julian “was more than [her] TV husband.”

“He was a dear friend. The kind who checks in,” she recalled. “The kind who remembers. The kind who shares. The kind who tells you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable — but always with love.”

Victoria Beckham Celebrates Fellow Spice Girl Mel B’s Wedding to Rory McPhee

Victoria Beckham is “excited” about former bandmate Mel B’s recent nuptials.

On Saturday, July 5, Beckham shared two posts via her Instagram Stories offering her fellow Spice Girls members Melanie Brown — best known as Mel B — congratulations on her wedding to Rory McPhee. (The pair wed the same day.)

“Congratulations @officialmelb and @rorymcphee on your special day!” she captioned a video of herself and the rest of the Spice Girls — Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm. “I couldn’t be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! Kisses xx.”

Beckham also shared a photo of herself and Brown at an event together and captioned it, “Sending you love @officialmelb. @rorymcphee is a very lucky man!”

Mel B Says Fellow Spice Girls Will ‘Of Course’ Be Invited To Her Wedding

Brown and McPhee tied the knot at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London after a three-year engagement. Brown and Beckham’s former bandmate Bunton also attended the ceremony, and the Mirror reported Bunton was set to perform at the wedding.

The wedding is a happy celebration for Brown, who has been open about her history with abuse and a 2014 attempt to take her own life. McPhee has played a huge role in her recovery and growth since then, she’s shared.

“Everything’s come full circle,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in May of her decision to return to the United States to host America’s Got Talent. “I never thought I’d be coming back to the U.S. It did have a little bit of an icky feeling — especially L.A., because I’d gone through so much and divorced here. [But] I’m falling in love with it again because it’s on my terms, with a lot of freedom, self-love and self-care.”

Brown, 50, also said the pair bonded as McPhee, 37, helped her take care of her hair following her 2018 divorce from Stephen Belafonte.

“Leaving that 10-year relationship, I was not looking to be in another. I was all about my kids, making sure they [were] OK and on their healing journey. Rory, a lovely family friend, is a hairdresser, so he was nurturing my curls back. When I left my ex, I cut my hair off and dyed it blonde. I wanted to get rid of anything that made me think of [the relationship],” she explained.

Mel B Recalls Falling 'In Love' With Ex-Girlfriend Christine Crokos

“So I’m like, ‘Can you come and help me?’ As [Rory] was nurturing my curls, he was nurturing my belief in love again and trust — which is a huge thing for me because the person I loved and trusted turned out to be the worst mistake I ever made,” she continued. “Up until two years ago, I was like, ‘You can find somebody else. I’m too broken.’ Rory goes, ‘Melanie, I’m not going anywhere. Because I absolutely love you.’”

Spice Girls: Where Are They Now?

Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) formed the Spice Girls in 1994 and went on to become one of the most beloved music groups of all time.

The band was originally called Touch, but they later changed their name to Spice after cowriting a song titled “Sugar and Spice.” However, they once again altered the name to the one that eventually stuck, Spice Girls, after discovering that another artist already used the moniker Spice.

The British girl group released their debut single, “Wannabe,” in July 1996. As their popularity skyrocketed, their first album, Spice, followed in November of that year. The Spice Girls — who adopted their nicknames from Top of the Pops magazine — went on to drop a slew of hits, including “Spice Up Your Life,” “Who Do You Think You Are” and “Stop.”

Halliwell announced her intentions to leave the band in May 1998. As the members of the group pursued solo careers and their personal lives flourished, the Spice Girls took an indefinite hiatus in December 2000. Seven years later, all five of the women revealed their plans to reunite for a worldwide tour. They gathered again in August 2012 to perform a medley of their greatest hits at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

After leaving the group in 1998 and pursuing a solo career, the “Look at Me” singer rejoined the band in 2007. Aside from music, she has designed a line of bikinis, served as a judge on Australia’s Got Talent and The X Factor and released two autobiographies and a series of children’s novels.
Halliwell gave birth to daughter Bluebell with ex Sacha Gervasi in May 2006, and Beckham and Bunton were named her godmothers. She married Christian Horner in May 2015, and the couple welcomed son Montague in January 2017.
In April 2019, the “Lift Me Up” songstress denied Mel B’s claims that the two once had sex. Halliwell’s rep told Us Weekly at the time that the rumors were “simply not true and [had] been very hurtful to her family.”
The singer often shares photos of her personal life via Instagram, whether she's cuddling with her kids or cooking pancakes.

The “A Mind of Its Own” songstress tried her hand at a solo music career before finding a new passion in the form of fashion design. She launched her celeb-favorite label, Victoria Beckham, in 2008 and her beauty brand, Victoria Beckham Beauty, in 2019.
Beckham married soccer star David Beckham in July 1999. The couple have four children together: sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper.
In April 2022, Victoria and David walked down the aisle once again — but this time, as Brooklyn married Nicola Peltz.

After going solo, the pop star competed on Dancing With the Stars and The Masked Singer, led her own reality show titled Mel B: It’s a Scary World, joined the America’s Got Talent judging panel and released her memoir Brutally Honest.
Mel B shares daughter Phoenix with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar, daughter Angel with ex Eddie Murphy and daughter Madison with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.
In May 2022, the singer was honored with an MBE for her domestic violence charity work. She also became an ambassador for the Caribbean island Nevis, where her father is from.

Mel B Marries Rory McPhee in Elegant Ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral

Former Spice Girls singer Mel B is married!

Mel, 50, tied the knot with her longtime partner, Rory McPhee, on Saturday, July 5, at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. The singer looked radiant in a pearl-adorned, long-sleeved gown while her new husband wore a traditional Scottish kilt.

Mel and Rory got engaged in 2022 after three years together. She later told Us Weekly that the hairstylist helped nurture her “belief in love again.” (Mel was previously married twice before.)

“Leaving that 10-year relationship, I was not looking to be in another. I was all about my kids, making sure they [were] OK and on their healing journey,” she told Us exclusively in May, referring to children Phoenix, 26, Angel, 18, and Madison, 13. “Rory, a lovely family friend, is a hairdresser, so he was nurturing my curls back. When I left my ex, I cut my hair off and dyed it blonde. I wanted to get rid of anything that made me think of [the relationship].”

Mel B Opens Up About Finding Love After 10 Years of ‘Such Bad Abuse’

Mel added, “As [Rory] was nurturing my curls, he was nurturing my belief in love again and trust — which is a huge thing for me because the person I loved and trusted turned out to be the worst mistake I ever made. Up until two years ago, I was like, ‘You can find somebody else. I’m too broken.’ Rory goes, ‘Melanie, I’m not going anywhere. Because I absolutely love you.’”

According to the America’s Got Talent judge, Rory brings “so much compassion and understanding” to Mel’s life.

“He’s very special. He’s a very confident man, and that, to me, is a man,” Mel gushed to Us. “He makes me feel so safe — I didn’t realize how unsafe I felt because that became normal to me. Whereas now I have to pinch myself and go, ‘You are so kind. Are you still going to be kind? Can I marry you? Can I trust my own instincts?’ And you can.”

Mel also had the support of many of her Spice Girls sistersVictoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell — on her big day. While Bunton, 49, was present for the ceremony, Beckham, 51, sent her love from afar.

“Congratulations @officialmelb and @rorymcphee on your special day!” Beckham gushed via her Instagram Stories on Saturday. “I couldn’t be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! … Sending you love. [Rory] is a very lucky man.”

Julian McMahon Praised Daughter's Achievements 4 Months Before His Death

Nearly four months before Julian McMahon’s tragic death at 56, he made it clear how overwhelmingly proud he was of his daughter.

“Taught my first yoga class today at @ahanayoga!!” McMahon’s daughter, Madison, wrote via Instagram on March 8. “I guess dreams do come true ✨.”

The Australian actor was the first to comment on the post, hyping up the 25-year-old’s achievement.

“Your [sic] awesome!!!!!” McMahon, who shared Madison with ex-wife Brooke Burns, replied.

Celebs React to ‘Charmed’ Star Julian McMahon’s Death

Madison replied to her father’s message at the time, playfully correcting his grammar.

“@julianmcmahonofficial, no YOU’RE awesome,” she wrote.

McMahon, who was best known for roles on Charmed, Nip/Tuck and Marvel’s Runaways, died earlier this month after a private battle with an undisclosed form of cancer.

“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” his wife, Kelly McMahon, wrote in a Friday, July 4, statement.

Julian married Kelly in 2014. He was previously married to Dannii Minogue from 1994 to 1995 and Burns, 47, from 1999 to 2001.

Burns, for her part, broke her silence on Julian’s passing on Saturday, July 5.

“Rest in Peace,” she captioned a throwback photo of the late Australian star and Madison.

In the comments section, Hallmark star Kristoffer Polaha offered his support.

“I’m praying for you and Maddy as you and her especially grieve this out ❤,” Polaha, 48, replied.

Other stars, including members of Julian’s Charmed family, have also expressed their heartbreak and condolences.

“I’m heartbroken. Julian McMahon was magic. That smile. That laugh. That talent. That presence,” Alyssa Milano wrote via Instagram. “He walked into a room and lit it up — not just with charisma, but with kindness. With mischief. With soulful understanding.”

The 52-year-old actress added, “Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend. The kind who checks in. The kind who remembers. The kind who shares. The kind who tells you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable — but always with love.”

90 Day Fiance's Shekinah Says Sarper Is 'Done With Threesome Fantasies'

90 Day Fiancé’s Sarper Güven has had a change of heart about a bedroom possibility.

“Sarper no longer wants a threesome,” Shekinah Güven exclusively shared with Us Weekly at the 10th anniversary event of “Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald” on June 25. “He’s done with threesome fantasies. Messy as f***. He doesn’t want a threesome now.”

Sarper added, “They are so messy.”

During season 11 of 90 Day Fiancé, viewers were able to meet Amani Jlassi — who identifies as bisexual – and her husband, Matt.

During the season, fans discovered that the couple has been married for 10 years and are raising two daughters in a beautiful San Diego, California, neighborhood. In a true 90 Day twist, however, the pair revealed that they explore being in a polyamorous relationship to keep their marriage in balance.

‘90 Day Fiance’ Spinoff Guide: Every Show in the TLC Universe

When asked if they are still close with all the couples from their season, Sarper and Shekinah appeared to throw some shade at one unique match.

“We’re friendly with all the couples,” Shekinah shared while at STK Steakhouse in Westwood, California. “We did not say throuples. We said couples. We’re good with all the couples.”

Sarper added, “We are good with real couples — sincere, real couples. Everyone, maybe millions, have fantasies of threesomes. That’s a fantasy of people but after this, after watching them? Even I don’t want one.”

Last month, Sarper and Shekinah appeared to be on rocky ground during the 90 Day Fiancé: Tell-All special

At one point, Sarper claimed that Shekinah kicked him out less than a month after their wedding and spent 10 days in a rental after they got into another fight.

With filming over, both parties said they are working hard to fight softer but love harder.

“Listen, we’re a real couple, so we go through real ups and downs,” Shekinah shared with Us. “Right now, we’re up. Tomorrow we might be down. We don’t know. … We’re Scorpios, so it makes perfect sense, right? We love hard, fight hard.”

The couple — who famously got married in bed while staying at the Mondrian’s penthouse in West Hollywood, California — spend their free time watching Love After Lockup with their favorite frozen yogurt.

“Our ideal date night is in bed,” Shekinah said. “We’re doing a hardcore bed rot. We’re literally watching our trashiest shows, eating the most disgusting American snacks.”

Love Island USA’s Austin Addresses Racism Allegations After Elimination

Love Island USA star Austin Shepard is clearing the air after returning home from the Fiji villa.

Austin, 26, answered a series of fan-submitted questions on his Instagram Stories on Friday, July 14, including one from a social media user who asked whether he was a “racist bigot.”

“I’m going to give this attention only one time because this is, like, crazy,” Austin said in a Friday video. “Are you f***ing dumb? Like, honestly, are you dumb? Do you not think?”

Austin appeared to deny the accusations, citing one of his tattoos as further proof.

“I have a Black woman tatted on my side,” he quipped. “Use your head.”

Austin was one of the OG Islanders on season 7 of Peacock’s Love Island USA. He was dumped earlier this week alongside contestants Andreina Santos, TJ Palma, Gracyn Blackmore and Jaden Duggar.

Earlier this season, cast member Yulissa Escober was removed from the villa when past racially insensitive posts she made resurfaced online. (Yulissa, 27, has since apologized for her comments.)

“I wasn’t dragged out in the dark. I walked out in broad daylight head high, lashes on,” Yulissa said in a Thursday, July 3, TikTok video. “I did not wake up in the middle of the night. They didn’t drag my ass out of bed. I was actually just getting comfortable and just coming out of my shell because initially I was kind of timid and shy. I was upset that I got pulled out on that day because I was like, ‘Damn, I was just starting to have fun.’”

According to Yulissa, a producer later asked to speak off-camera.

“I had gotten called to the front and then I met one of the producers and they asked me to take my mic off. I figured something serious was kind of happening,” she recalled. “I honestly got scared. I thought something happened with a family member or something. They didn’t really tell me anything. They just said that a video resurfaced on the internet and it’s not looking too good. I didn’t really know what video or what I was saying or what I did.”

Love Island USA’s Yulissa Escobar Removed After Racist Remarks Surface

Yulissa’s exit was subtly addressed by narrator Iain Stirling, who briefly mentioned that she had “left the villa” but did not further explain the situation. Cast members also weren’t given full details.

“They personally never told me anything. They never told us in the villa,” Jeremiah Brown said during a Monday, June 30, episode of the “Speedy Morman” podcast. “They said she left for personal reasons — I can say that. I found out later after getting my phone back that it was because of whatever happened.”

Love Island USA airs daily, except for Wednesdays, on Peacock.

Julian McMahon's Ex-Wife Brooke Burns Mourns His Death at 56

Julian McMahon’s ex-wife Brooke Burns has broken her silence after his death at age 56.

“Rest in Peace,” Burns, 47, captioned a Saturday, July 5, Instagram photo of the late Charmed star posing with exes’ daughter, Madison. Burns also added a broken-hearted emoji to her upload.

Several Hollywood stars offered Burns and Madison, 25, support in the comments section.

“I’m praying for you and Maddy as you and her especially grieve this out. ❤,” Hallmark actor Kristoffer Polaha shared.

Celebrity Deaths of 2025: Stars We've Lost

Radio host Ellen K, for her part, added, “Sending you our love and prayers.”

McMahon, who was married to Burns from 1999 to 2001, died earlier this month after privately battling an undisclosed type of cancer.

“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” his wife, Kelly McMahon, said in a Friday, July 4, statement. “Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.”

Kelly added, “We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”

Julian — best known for his roles on Charmed, Nip/Tuck, FBI: Most Wanted, Marvel’s Runaways and the Fantastic Four movies — is survived by Kelly, whom he married in 2014, and his daughter. (The late Australian actor was also briefly married to Dannii Minogue from 1994 to 1995.)

Celebs React to ‘Charmed’ Star Julian McMahon’s Death

Outside of his career in the spotlight, Julian was especially proud to be Madison’s dad.

“Taught my first yoga class today at @ahanayoga!! I guess dreams do come true ✨,” Madison wrote via Instagram in March.

In the comments section, Julian replied, “Your awesome!!!!!”

Madison, however, seemingly didn’t mind her father’s grammatical mistake.

“No, YOU’RE awesome,” she responded.

In the years preceding his death, Julian had also been candid about his legacy and livelihood.

“To be honest, I think it’s all been bit of an ‘aha’ moment. I think this kind of thing that’s happened since the [COVID-19] pandemic and since the shutdown and since our change in life and lifestyle and the way that we think and feel,” Julian said during a 2023 interview with Kara Mayer Robinson on her “Really Famous” YouTube series. “We really recognize how important it is on this journey of life to be enjoying ourselves, to be happy.”

He added, “I’m talking [to be] really honestly and truthfully be joy-filled and happy and thoughtful. I think that’s constantly evolving, and I think it’s also about figuring out how you want to spend your time.”

What to Know About Hulu’s ‘Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox’ After Murder Trial

Amanda Knox is finally getting to share her side of the story about being accused of roomate Meredith Kercher’s murder in Hulu’s The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox.

Knox made headlines in 2007 when she was accused of murdering her roommate Kercher while they were studying abroad in Perugia, Italy. Knox was sentenced to 26 years in prison after she and then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were both convicted of the crime despite a lack of evidence.

An appellate court later found the former couple not guilty in 2011, but they were again found guilty three years later during a retrial. The Italian supreme court cleared Knox of Kercher’s murder in 2015, and she was exonerated.

Ivorian migrant Rudy Guede was sentenced in 2008 to 30 years in prison for Kercher’s murder after his DNA was identified at the crime scene. His sentence was later reduced, and he was released from prison in November 2021.

Most Anticipated Scripted True Crime TV Shows Coming Out Soon

Amid the public interest in the case, Knox’s experience was told in various scripted and unscripted projects, but she usually wasn’t involved. The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox made Knox feel “gratitude” for the chance to be involved.

“It really comes down to this idea of do I have a voice and does my voice matter in how a story is told? That is what Hulu has recognized, and they’re taking a chance on that to say, ‘Yes, actually the subject does have a perspective that is valuable and that matters,’” she exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2025. “And we don’t have to pretend that this world is full of objective screenwriters who are not bringing their own stuff to the project. I think that that’s a really interesting experiment that is being made right now.”

Knox continued: “And of course, I’m really honored to work alongside Monica [Lewinsky], who is my mentor. She’s executive producing as well. I can’t speak a lot about it yet because we’re still in production. But I’ll just say that it is another manifestation of me having the opportunity to be recognized as someone who has a valuable perspective.”

The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox is an eight-episode series that will chronicle the period after Knox was wrongfully accused, her time in prison and her journey to freedom. Margaret Qualley was originally set to play Knox in Hulu’s scripted series, but she exited the project and Grace Van Patten replaced her.

When Will the Series Be Released on Hulu?

The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox premieres with two episodes on August 20, 2025, followed by new episodes weekly.

Created by This Is UsKJ Steinberg, the project is executive produced by Knox and her husband, Chris Robinson as well as Monica Lewinsky and Michael Uppendah.

“I’ll say that Grace is f***ing amazing. That’s what I will say,” Knox teased to Us. “I’m in a very, very privileged position as someone who is a subject of a story. Typically someone in my position — the subject — doesn’t get to be an executive producer of their own show.”

Has Meredith Kercher’s Family Reacted to the Series?

Kercher’s loved ones haven’t spoken out about The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox. Before its release, both of Kercher’s parents died, and Knox revealed to Us where she stands with the rest of Kercher’s family.

“Both of her parents have passed. Her mother had a heart condition, even back then. I remember one of the things Meredith told me was that she was in very, very frequent contact with her mom because she had a heart condition, and there were concerns about her health,” Knox recalled to Us. “So she eventually passed because of that condition — but then, also, her father very tragically died. All of a sudden, he was walking around his neighborhood and got hit by a car.”

Knox acknowledged how Kercher’s family have faced even more tragedy since the exchange student’s death, adding, “The remaining part of her family is her two brothers and sister. I have no idea what her brothers think about me. I do know that her sister has spoken very publicly about her regrets that Meredith has been lost in all of this story.”

Is This the 1st Project That Amanda Knox Been Involved In?

Knox has written several books about her experience, but she hasn’t participated in every movie and TV show about the murder. Knox took part in Netflix’s 2016 doc Amanda Knox and wrote Waiting to Be Heard and Free: My Search for Meaning before The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox.

“Writing has always been therapeutic for me. So I’ve been writing this book for many, many years. Some of the things that I incorporated into it were from pieces that I wrote ages ago — and all of them were about processing various aspects of this experience that I went through and trying to understand what they meant — if they meant anything,” Knox shared with Us. “All of these things and how they connected is the really beautiful takeaway for me writing this. It was me realizing the relationships that I have with people after feeling so ostracized and singled out.”

Ginny and Georgia Cast: See the Hit Netflix Show's Stars Then and Now

Ginny & Georgia fans have watched the cast change on and off screen since the series premiered on Netflix in 2021.

Ginny & Georgia — which stars Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Raymond Ablack and Scott Porter — follows a young single mother who moves her family to Wellsbury, Massachusetts, after running away from her past.

Despite quickly finding success on Netflix, Ginny & Georgia has faced production struggles after the dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Season 2 wrapped up filming in early 2022, but filming on the third installment started two years later. Season 3 premiered in 2025 and production is currently in the works on the next selection of episodes.

“Between season 2 ending and season 3 beginning, nothing really changed or shifted. I would just say that the season was really fleshed out once we had the writers room up and running. I knew what the tentpoles were going to be,” creator Sara Lampert exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2025. “When we wrote season 2, there [were] certain things we planned all the way back from season 1. Now there are certain other things that we planned from season 2.”

She continued: “But when you’re in the writers room is when you really [expand on the story]. Nothing really shifted between the wait of seasons 2 and 3, but once the writers room was up and cooking for season 3 — knowing that we had a season 4 changed how we approached this season.”

While viewers await season 4 of Ginny & Georgia, there are other projects that the cast has explored in their freetime. Keep scrolling to see what the Ginny & Georgia stars have been up to since the show blew up:

Remember When Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz Dated? Romance Rewind

Whether you knew them as “Jameron” or the cutesy “The Camberlakes,” chances are that, back in the day, you lapped up every detail about this quintessential early aughts celeb pairing. Justin Timberlake, now 44, and Cameron Diaz, now 52, may seem like a casual fling from the dim and distant past to Us now, but they were actually together for a long time and an awful lot went down between them. Let’s unearth the details …

How it Began

It started with a … burp?! At the 2003 Kids Choice Awards, Diaz, then 30, presented Timberlake, then a mere 22, with the, uh, coveted prize for “Best Burp.” She had won it herself two years previously, which proved to be a great ice breaker.

Both were single — actress Diaz had recently split from Jared Leto, while former NSync star Timberlake was about a year out of his relationship with Britney Spears — and so they hit it off.

A few weeks later, in May, they were spotted holding hands at a club in New York, and Jameron was officially born. Two of the hottest stars of the time, hooking up? Maybe even in love? Squeal!

How Long it Lasted

Almost four years! Crazy, right? While their relationship did have a few blips and rumored breakups during its course, they looked like they had a lot of fun together too, with Diaz regularly joining Timberlake on tour and them even appearing in an SNL skit together in 2005.

Romance Rewind: Jared Leto and Cameron Diaz

While there was a public obsession with their pretty modest eight year age gap — yup, an age gap that wouldn’t even raise an eyebrow if their genders were flipped — they seemed unbothered. “It’s not like this is the first time in the history of human relationships that people were drawn to one another because of who they are, not what age they are,” Diaz told W in 2004.

The age gap wasn’t the only controversy: both Timberlake and Diaz successfully sued British tabloids during their relationship, with the now defunct News of the World claiming Timberlake had cheated with model Lucy Clarkson in 2004 and, the following year, The Sun suggesting Diaz had had an affair with MTV producer Shane Nickerson.

It’s fair to say that, over those four years, they crammed a lot in and attracted a lot of headlines. But in January 2007, they split.

How it Ended

Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz’s Dramatic 4 Year Relationship Relived: Romance Rewind

Back then, celebrities issued long, official statements about their breakups rather than just posting something mysterious on Instagram. After rumors of a rift started circulating, they confirmed it to the press: “It has always been our preference not to comment on the status of our relationship, but, out of respect for the time we’ve spent together, we feel compelled to do so now, in light of recent speculation and the number of inaccurate stories that are being reported by the media. We have, in fact, ended our romantic relationship, and have done so mutually and as friends, with continued love and respect for one another.”

Justin Timberlake's Biggest Controversies Through the Years

The “inaccurate stories” they referred to concerned other women, including Scarlett Johansson, who appeared in Timberlake’s 2006 “What Goes Around Comes Around” music video. In an interview with Seventeen magazine at the time, Johannson denied speculation that Diaz was “jealous” of her. “We live in a world today where if two people are single – and one’s a guy and one’s a girl and they’re both famous – you’re going to be linked with somebody,” she said. “If it’s somebody one week, it’s going to be somebody else the next week. It’s either me or Jessica Biel.”

Ha. Well, sure enough, Timberlake’s next love interest was Biel, his now wife of 13 years (they share two sons: Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4). But the details of when and how they got together — and specifically, whether there may have been a slight overlap with Diaz — are a little blurry.

A week after confirming their breakup, Diaz and Timberlake were spotted in tense discussions at Prince’s Golden Globes after party after he had been chatting to Biel. According to People, Timberlake slammed his fist down on a cabinet.

In the singer’s 2018 memoir, he recalled that he and Biel had been flirting for a while before that night. He wrote: “Then the Golden Globes came up, and that’s when we planned on seeing each other. We were both still seeing other people, keeping ourselves safe from getting hurt, from really putting ourselves out there. It took a bit for both of us to admit to ourselves that we were really, really into each other.”

What They Said About Each Other

These two were both known for their lack of interest in settling down — something they discussed in separate 2006 interviews with Ellen Degeneres. When the chat show host asked Timberlake if she should get a bridesmaid dress, he responded: “Know what? Go ahead and reserve one. The only thing is, you’ll have to stay the same size for the next 15 years.”

Diaz, too, later admitted on Ellen: “I’m a commitment-phobe. Don’t want to do it.”

But it seems Timberlake just wasn’t The One: Diaz has now been married to Benji Madden since 2015, and became a mom to daughter Raddix in 2019 and son Cardinal in 2024.

What They Say Now

Despite the slightly tense ending, these two were quickly on friendly terms — which is lucky, because they ended up appearing in two movies together. Just a few months after their split, in summer 2007, they happily promoted Shrek The Third together. And in 2010 Diaz told Playboy: “We’re adults. Of course, we could work together. It’s been three years since we broke up. It’s all done … We’re friends.”

In 2011’s Bad Teacher, they even shot a sex scene together, with Diaz telling Us Weekly, “It’s great. Justin and I have always had a good laugh together.” She added that Timberlake is “a genius comedian … he’s clearly talented. We went for the best person for the job, and it just so happened that it was him. And he delivers. He’s frickin’ weird in movies. He’s so bizarre and hilarious.”

Key Relationship Takeaways

Diaz put it best on the Bad Teacher promo trail: “Justin and I had a journey together, and we’ll continue to have a journey together,” she said. “Our relationship has changed over the years, and we’re okay with that.”

This classic early 21st century celebrity couple is ancient history now, and both are breezy enough to be mature about what went down between them. Diaz helped transform Timberlake from “Britney’s cheesy boyband ex” to global sex symbol, and Timberlake helped cement Diaz’s image as the fun, sexy older woman that every young guy dreamed of.

They were even more A-list as a unit than they were individually and ultimately, it was all a bit much: perhaps it’s no surprise that they’ve both settled down with slightly more low-key life partners.

What's In Store for Selena Gomez and More Famous Cancers This Year?

With summer in full swing, Cancers have stolen the astrological spotlight — and Us turned to world-renowned astrologer Susan Miller to get the forecast for the water sign.

In the latest issue of Us Weekly, on stands now, Miller shared a snapshot of what Cancers — including Pamela Anderson — can expect this year.

The actress (born July 1, 1967) has a Gemini rising, so she might feel like she’s on the verge of an exciting breakthrough. “It’s going to reach her very soon,” explained Miller, who told Us how Anderson’s fiery Aries moon placement lends to her entrepreneurial spirit. “I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets a [business proposal] that really intrigues her.”

Kevin Hart (born July 6, 1979) has the sign of passionate and action-driven Mars in his 10th house — a.k.a. the “house of fame” — so his career is “super important” to him. “He’s going into his Emerald Year,” Miller said, which means success and abundance will continue to follow the comedian. “He’ll just get more and more offers.”

What's In Store for Kelly Clarkson and More Famous Tauruses This Year?

Selena Gomez might also be cashing in. Born July 22, 1992, Gomez has natal Jupiter in her “house of money” — a rare but advantageous placement. “I don’t see it that often,” Miller acknowledged. “She’s going to make money her whole life, and she’s going to earn it herself.”

Miller also predicted Gomez could be making more music over the next two years thanks to lucky Jupiter sitting in Leo, starting mid-2026 until mid-2027.

Keep scrolling for a breakdown of Miller’s predictions for Cancer signs in 2025:

What Cancers Are Really Like

Described as “sensitive, intuitive and romantic,” the “valentine of the zodiac” is a homebody and mastermind of creating cozy and stylish spaces, Miller told Us. The moon is the fourth astrological sign’s ruling planet, which blesses them with an “exquisite capacity for both feeling and expressing a wide range of emotions.”

Added the expert: “Like the moon, [Cancers] will always be associated with pure and luminous white — their most flattering hue.”

Work and Career

“Cancers will get the recognition and affirmation that they’re doing great,” Miller shared. If they encounter trials and tribulations while chasing success, she assured Us that they will be ready — and even welcoming — of any challenge. Plus, Jupiter bestows good fortune. “From now until June 30, 2026, Jupiter will favor Cancer most. [Plus], when Jupiter is in Cancer, he expresses his most loving qualities, which are then easily absorbed by the Cancer person,” Miller added.

Relationships

“They are going to be so magnetic,” the astrologer shared of the typically “shy” sign. Single men and women may encounter a love interest while enjoying vibrant social lives. “Love could really blossom in the next 12 months,” she hinted. Already spoken for? This could be a fantastic year to tie the knot!

What to Watch For

Miller said Cancers shouldn’t doubt themselves. “Stop wondering if you made the right decision — you did,” she stressed. And although their careers are skyrocketing, it’s important to schedule time for a spontaneous vacation. The astrologer anticipates they “will go to at least one exciting place far away that they didn’t expect.”

A Tale of Two Toms

Tom Cruise (July 3, 1962) and Tom Hanks (July 9, 1956) both have prominent birth chart placements that indicate careers in film and theater. “All Cancers bring emotion,” Miller told Us. “They allow us to feel for the character.” And while Cruise’s moon is in Cancer, Hanks has his in Leo, which also benefits his profession. “Leo is the sign of entertainment and acting,” she noted. Miller even predicted they’ll win coveted awards this year!
