Jenny Slate — Justin Baldoni's Sister in 'It Ends With Us' — Speaks Out

Another member of the It Ends With Us cast is publicly supporting Blake Lively amid her lawsuit against director and costar Justin Baldoni.

“As Blake Lively’s castmate and friend, I voice my support as she takes action against those reported to have planned and carried out an attack on her reputation,” Jenny Slate shared in a statement to Today.com on Monday, December 23. “Blake is a leader, loyal friend and a trusted source of emotional support for me and so many who know and love her.”

She added: “What has been revealed about the attack on Blake is terribly dark, disturbing, and wholly threatening. I commend my friend, I admire her bravery, and I stand by her side.”

Slate, 42, portrayed Allysa, who is the sister of Baldoni’s character, Ryle Kincaid, in It Ends With Us. The film, which hit theaters in August, follows Lively’s Lily Bloom as her relationship with Ryle turns dangerous around the same time her first love, Atlas (Brandon Sklenar) re-enters her life.

Celebs Who Have Spoken Out About Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

Months after Lively, 37, and Baldoni, 40, made headlines for a reported on-set rift, the actress filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her former costar on Friday, December 20. In the legal documents, obtained by Us Weekly, Lively accused Baldoni of causing her “severe emotional distress” and creating a “hostile work environment.”

Among the lawsuit’s several claims, Lively claimed she turned down gratuitous sex and nude scenes Baldoni wanted to add to the film and alleged he improvised kissing and discussed his sex life around her without her consent. Lively’s lawsuit also alleges Baldoni body-shamed her during production and that Baldoni and producer Jamey Heath once entered her trailer while she was undressed and breastfeeding.

Lively’s lawsuit heavily accuses Baldoni of launching a “social manipulation” campaign to “destroy” her reputation and cites multiple texts and emails between Baldoni, a crisis management expert and a publicist working with the studio.

The docs alleged that Baldoni and his team proposed engaging in “astroturfing,” which is defined in the lawsuit as “the practice of publishing opinions or comments on the internet, in the media, etc. that appear to come from ordinary members of the public but actually come from a particular company or political group.”

Blake Lively Claims Another Cast Member Complained About Justin Baldoni

“I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted,” Lively said in a statement to The New York Times earlier this week.

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, called the lawsuit’s allegations “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious” in a statement to Us. Freedman claimed Lively filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and alleged that she threatened to not show up on set or promote the film “if her demands were not met.”

Slate is one of several celebrities who have spoken out in support of Lively in the wake of the lawsuit, with Sklenar, 34, and It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover both encouraging fans to read the NYT story. “[Blake], you have been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met,” Hoover, 45, wrote alongside an Instagram Story snap of herself with Lively on Saturday, December 21. “Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.”

What to Know About 'Tell Me Lies' Season 3 After Stephen's Revenge Plan

What to Know About Tell Me Lies Season 3

Tell Me Lies will continue to push boundaries now that it has been renewed for a third season.

Based on Carola Lovering‘s novel of the same name, Tell Me Lies follows the messy relationship between college students Lucy (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (Jackson White). Their problematic on-and-off romance ends up lasting eight years — and everyone around them is affected by Lucy and Stephen’s ups and downs.

Season 2 raised the stakes after showcasing Lucy and Stephen’s first breakup. They initially were at odds while trying to move on but the pair reconciled in both the past and present timeline while in relationships with other people.

The drama escalated when Lucy and Stephen got back together in college — and he found out that she had previously hooked up with his friend Evan (Branden Cook). He seemed to take the news well — until Tell Me Lies jumped to the present day during Evan’s wedding to Lucy’s friend Bree (Cat Missal). No one could find Stephen as Cat received a voice message from Evan confessing to cheating on her with Lucy.

'Tell Me Lies' Season 3 Questions Answered After Splits and Reconciliations

Season 3, which has been ordered by Hulu, is expected to pick up immediately after Cat found out about Lucy’s betrayal. It also remains to be seen whether Lucy breaks things off with Stephen for good in the present timeline while viewers keep watching them crash and burn in the past.

Keep scrolling for everything we know so far about season 3 of Tell Me Lies:

When Is Season 3 Airing on Hulu — And Who Is Coming Back?

What to Know About Tell Me Lies Season 3

Hulu renewed Tell Me Lies in December 2024. In addition to White and Van Patten, Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Cook and Alicia Crowder are expected to return.

Is There a Plan for Where the Show Is Heading?

What to Know About Tell Me Lies Season 3

“I always had a sense of where they are in 2015 and what their dynamic is and what secrets everyone is holding. Once you at least know what people know and what they don’t know, that gives you a lot of space to play,” showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2024 about juggling two timelines. “But the way that we constructed it is we definitely did the 2008 storyline first in the room. We kind of mapped out the whole season and then we did 2015 as its own thing.”

Oppenheimer continued: “I knew where I wanted to end the season, though, in 2015. I knew where it needed to get to.”

Us Ranks Every 'Tell Me Lies' Couple From Most to Least Toxic

How Will Wrigley Deal With Drew’s Death?

Drew came back into Wrigley’s life at the end of season 2 after a year-long estrangement. Their reunion took a turn when Drew mixed alcohol with some pills Wrigley gave him and ultimately died from an overdose.

“He does kill him. It’s not on purpose. And people who work on the show will disagree with me, but Wrigley is with his brother at a bar,” House noted to Us in October 2024. “He gives him a pill that he’s not prescribed and it kills him. So he does kill his brother. He doesn’t mean to but that is a thing he’s always going to carry with him for the rest of his life.”

Despite flash forwards showing Wrigley in a dark place, House hoped he would get to a better place.

“Now that we’ve done the spiral [with him], I would like to see some sort of path in a positive direction. We know how that ends,” House said to Us in reference to the show’s present day timeline not allowing Wrigley a lot of growth. “He’s a little bit onto everything that’s going on. It’s up to the writers, but I would love to just do something different than another spiral. I love doing it, but I would like to see hope.”

He added: “Maybe in a 2015 storyline you would see if he gets better. But also we don’t spend a lot of time there, so I don’t know how they’re going to do that. I’ll do my job as always, and we’ll see how it goes.”

Will Bree Call Off the Wedding?

What to Know About Tell Me Lies Season 3

“I haven’t planned it but I do think that everyone would probably like to see Bree get some sort of revenge,” Oppenheimer teased to Us about how Bree will handle the revelation about Evan and Lucy. “Because she’s really been done dirty by everyone. She deserves that, and she probably wants it.”

Could Tom Ellis Return as Bree’s Professor?

Bree had a secret romance with her professor, which came to an end in season 2. After Bree received calls on her wedding day from a mystery person, the Tell Me Lies cast and crew weighed in on whether it was Oliver.

“I don’t know that those voicemails are from Oliver. That’s probably what people think, but I think it’s probably someone more surprising than that,” Oppenheimer told Us.

Missal added, “It’s a little juicy, isn’t it? I’m going to let people have their theories and we’ll kind of see how it plays out. It’s really exciting to not know and be surprised at what happens.”

Ellis agreed that viewers will have to “wait and see” how the story unfolds.

Are Pippa and Diana Going to Last?

What to Know About Tell Me Lies Season 3

According to the present timeline, Pippa and Diana start dating — but will they make it in the long run?

“Man, I hope so. That would be cool. I think that they both deserve it,” Crowder exclusively told Us in October 2024. “They’ve both been through so much because of external factors, but also because of this group of people. I really hope so and it looks like they’re in a good place. Obviously no relationship is perfect and we have some issues that we’re working out.”

Mena, however, wasn’t sure based on the other Tell Me Lies couples, adding, “But nobody ever is happy on this show.”

‘Tell Me Lies’ Cast's Most Candid Quotes About the Show's Steamiest Scenes

Will Thomas Doherty Reprise His Role as Leo?

Despite Leo’s arc seemingly coming to an end, Doherty didn’t rule out a return, telling Us in December 2024, “Maybe Leo isn’t all that he seems. There is a lot to do with him.”

He continued: “I wasn’t actually too surprised about the fans’ reaction to my character. After season 1, Leo just slotted into that gap. It made sense. What did surprise me was all the outpouring of love. It’s really kind of overwhelming at times.”

Could the ‘Tell Me Lies’ Franchise Grow?

What to Know About Tell Me Lies Season 3

After Tell Me Lies was renewed, Oppenheimer signed an overall deal with 20th TV, which is a part of Disney Television Studios.

“Meaghan has shepherded Tell Me Lies for two intensely addictive seasons that fueled an incredible wave of obsessive fan and social conversation,” President of 20th Television Karey Burke said in a December 2024 statement. “We are thrilled to have her officially in the studio fold and at the helm of another dramatic season.”

Blake Lively Lawsuit Claims Justin Baldoni Admitted to Sex Without Consent

Blake Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit against It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni claims he admitted to not “always” asking for consent before engaging in sex with past partners.

The lawsuit, which was obtained by Us Weekly on Saturday, December 21, alleges that both Baldoni, who also directed the film, and producer Jamey Heath had “discussed their personal sexual experiences and previous porn addiction” with her “and tried to pressure [Lively] to reveal details about her intimate life.”

The documents describe a “car ride with [Lively], her assistant and driver” during production wherein Baldoni allegedly claimed to Lively “that he had been sexually abused by a former girlfriend” which “caused him to reexamine his past.” (Baldoni, 40, spoke about experiencing sexual trauma in a previous relationship on an episode of Elizabeth Day’s “How to Fail” podcast earlier this month.)

According to the documents, Baldoni then claimed, “Did I always ask for consent? No. Did I always listen when they said no? No,” adding, “This was an example of how we all have things from which we can learn and grow.”

Breaking Down Blake Lively’s Accusations Against Justin Baldoni

Lively claimed that when Baldoni “exited the car, [her] driver immediately remarked that he did not want Ms. Lively to be alone with Mr. Baldoni going forward.”

Lively filed her sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni on Friday, December 20, alleging that he had created a “hostile work environment” on the set of It Ends With Us, causing the actress “severe emotional distress.” She also accused Baldoni and his team of orchestrating a smear campaign against her to damage her reputation.

Justin Baldoni Allegedly Suggested He Had Sex Without Consent From Past Partner
Justin Baldoni

The legal filing states that a meeting was held during production in January to address Lively’s claims against Baldoni. Her demands for the meeting included “no more showing nude videos or images of women to Blake, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous ‘pornography addiction,’ no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew’s genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s dead father.”

Court documents also claim that unwanted kissing had been improvised by Baldoni in scenes between his and Lively’s respective characters.

Blake Lively's Infamous 'It Ends With Us' Costumes Play a Part in Lawsuit

“Mr. Baldoni improvised physical intimacy that had not been rehearsed, choreographed, or discussed with Ms. Lively, with no intimacy coordinator involved,” the docs state. “For instance, Mr. Baldoni discreetly bit and sucked on Ms. Lively’s lower lip during a scene in which he improvised numerous kisses on each take. Mr. Baldoni insisted on shooting the full scene over and over again, well beyond what would have been required on an ordinary set, and without advance notice or consent.”

The suit also claims that Lively was not the only cast member to complain about Baldoni’s behavior, noting the “concerns she raised were not only for herself, but for the other female cast and crew, some of whom had also spoken up.”

The lawsuit reads: “As result of Mr. Baldoni’s behavior, on May 29, 2023, another cast member lodged a sexual harassment complaint about Mr. Baldoni’s ‘gross’ and ‘unwanted comment[s]’ towards her and others.” In the docs, Lively alleged that “another actress made a complaint about Mr. Baldoni’s comments on her appearance.”

“Mr. Baldoni expressly acknowledged her concerns in writing, stating he would ‘adjust accordingly,’” the docs continue. “Yet on June 8, 2023, that actress informed Ms. Lively that ‘outside of anything in a scene, I actually cannot talk to Justin at all.’ Mr. Baldoni later expressed suspicion regarding Ms. Lively’s friendship with this actress, as if they were colluding against him.”

Blake Lively Claims Justin Baldoni Texted About Ruining Her Reputation

In a statement to Us, Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman addressed Lively’s “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious” allegations, claiming she filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” about the film’s production.

Lively, for her part, has received support from several people involved with the movie since her complaint was filed, including It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover, who voiced her support for the actress in a lengthy statement on social media, praising Lively for her “ability to refuse to sit down and ‘be buried.’” (Lively starred in the film adaptation of Hoover’s book as Lily Bloom opposite Baldoni’s Ryle, Lily’s abusive husband.)

“I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted,” she said in a statement to The New York Times on Saturday. The actress also denied spreading negative information about Baldoni.

Better yet, formulas that never clump or leave you with those dreaded “spider” hairs are the holy grail of beauty products. If your current mascara lineup is underperforming, there’s one solution that won’t disappoint. Clinique High Impact Lash Line-Up 3-Piece Makeup Gift Set is a must-have trio that works together to give you your best lashes yet — and right now, it’s 30% off at Nordstrom.

My Favorite Mascara That Makes Lashes 'Voluminous and Bold' Is 30% Off Right Now

If you’re new to using lash primer, here’s how it works: The formula goes on before your mascara to help each lash hold onto the product better. This assists with the hair looking fuller and healthier.

Clinique’s High Impact High-Fi Full Volume Mascara in Intense Black is a wonderful addition to the kit. The fiber-infused gel formula instantly thickens and makes lashes look fuller. This Martha Stewart and Jennifer Aniston-Loved Mascara Is Just $28

Shoppers praise the trio’s lengthening and volumizing effects, specifically shouting out the primer.

“Eyelashes on steroids,” one Nordstrom reviewer wrote. “This has been a staple item in my makeup collection for the last 2 years. It adds volume but more so is the length, wow! Don’t be heavy-handed with the product; you only need a light swipe just to coat the lashes. If you get too much, it will turn into a clumpy mess, at least for me. It will look like you are applying white mascara but don’t worry. As soon as you apply your mascara over the top, it disappears, and you are left with long, voluminous lashes.”

“This mascara is AMAZING,” another person said. “I just recently stopped wearing lash extensions after 8 years to give my lashes a break. I tried a couple of waterproof and volume mascaras until I landed on this one. My lashes look great! I may never go back to extensions. I have very deep hooded eyes and struggle with finding mascara that won’t rub off during the day. Not only does it stay put, but it adds length and volume without clumping.”

“It’s the best for big lashes,” one shopper advised. “Been using this for about two years now. I absolutely love this; I always get compliments on my lashes, and people always ask me what mascara I use. I always tell them about this primer.”

So, what are you waiting for? Head to Nordstrom now to snag the three-piece set while it’s 30% off!

Blake Lively's Costar Says She Was in 'Pain' After 'It Ends With Us' Drama

Blake Lively Costar Michele Morrone Says She Seemed in Pain After It Ends With Us Experience
Blake Lively and Michele Morrone

Blake Lively’s A Simple Favor 2 costar Michele Morrone said she seemed in “pain” after her experience on the set of It Ends With Us.

The Italian actor and model, 34, shared a video via his Instagram Stories on Monday, December 23, expressing his support for Lively, 37, amid her sexual harassment lawsuit against her It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni.

“It’s usually not my thing to make those kinds of videos, but I think it’s time to stand up for a person I really love and this person is Blake Lively,” Morrone said.

The 365 Days star continued, “I personally met Blake during A Simple Favor 2. We shot this incredible film together and I felt something was wrong, and I felt the pain … We had the opportunity to talk, me and her, [and] Blake was in pain.” (A Simple Favor 2 was filmed this past spring, per Deadline, while It Ends With Us began filming in May 2023 and resumed in January following the SAG-AFTRA strike.)

Everything Justin Baldoni Has Said About Working With Blake Lively

Morrone said he was “really tired” of seeing “cruel and bad comments” about Lively “without knowing the situation.” He linked to a New York Times article published Saturday, December 21, detailing Lively’s catalog of complaints against Baldoni, 40, on the set of It Ends With Us, which he asked fans to read “to make you understand, before commenting, what happened.”

“Blake, I love you so much. Keep it up and we’re going to see each other very soon. Love you,” the actor concluded.

Lively, 37, filed a complaint against Baldoni with the California Civil Complaints Department on Friday, December 20, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment on the set of their recent Colleen Hoover adaptation. She also claimed Baldoni was behind a digital smear campaign to tarnish her reputation.

The lawsuit, obtained by Us Weekly after it first reported by TMZ and The New York Times, stated that a meeting was held during the film’s production in January to address Lively’s claims against her costar that included, “No more showing nude videos or images of women to Blake, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous ‘pornography addiction,’ no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew’s genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s dead father.”

Baldoni has vehemently denied the allegations against him. In a statement to Us, Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman called Lively’s claims “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious,” alleging she filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” about the film’s production. He claimed Lively made “multiple demands and threats,” which included “threatening to not show up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release, if her demands were not met.”

Lively reprises her role in A Simple Favor 2, a sequel to her hit 2018 crime thriller costarring Anna Kendrick, which is due for release next year.

Celebs Who Have Spoken Out About Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

On Sunday, December 22, the film’s director, Paul Feig, also expressed his support for Lively.

“I’ve now made two movies with Blake and all I can say is she’s one of the most professional, creative, collaborative, talented and kind people I’ve ever worked with,” Feig shared via X.

Feig added, “She truly did not deserve any of this smear campaign against her. I think it’s awful she was put through this.”

Lively has also received support from Hoover, the author of the novel It Ends With Us is based on, and Sony Pictures, the studio that released the film.

'Rust' Prosecutor Drops Alec Baldwin Case, Actor Won't Face Charges Again

'Rust' Prosecutor Drops Alec Baldwin Case, Actor Won't Face Charges Again

Alec Baldwin will no longer face charges over the October 2021 shooting of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Special prosecutor Kari T. Morrissey said Monday, December 23, that an appeal to reinstate charges against the actor, 66, has been dropped due to lack of support from the New Mexico district attorney’s office, per The New York Times and CBS News.

The prosecution’s previous case against Baldwin fell apart at trial in July when his lawyers successfully argued that the prosecution withheld evidence potentially linked to the case.

“The state’s efforts to continue to litigate the case in a fair and comprehensive manner have been met with multiple barriers that have compromised its ability to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law,” Morrissey said in a news release, per the New York Times.

Alec Baldwin's Biggest Scandals and Controversies Through the Years

“The appeal would have challenged the Court’s dismissal of criminal charges against Producer and Actor, Alec Baldwin which included involuntary manslaughter in the tragic shooting of Cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust on October 21, 2021,” a statement issued by the New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney’s Office said.

“The FJDA commends Morrissey for her work in prosecuting two cases of such magnitude and national attention, including the successful prosecution against Hannah Gutierrez Reed. The FJDA supports the Hutchins’ family and their continued fight for justice in civil court,” the statement added, per CBS News.

Baldwin’s attorneys, Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro, said the decision “to dismiss the appeal is the final vindication of what Alec Baldwin and his attorneys have said from the beginning — this was an unspeakable tragedy but Alec Baldwin committed no crime. The rule of law remains intact in New Mexico.”

Baldwin has yet to comment publicly on the decision but on Monday shared a link to a New York Times article about it via X.

Hutchins was killed and Rust director Joel Souza was injured as the result of a prop gun containing a real bullet being fired on set in October 2021. Hutchins’ family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Baldwin in February 2022 and settled with the Emmy winner that October.

Two 'Rust' Shooting Documentaries Are in the Works

Baldwin, who denied pulling the trigger, was later charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in January 2023 and pleaded not guilty one month later. The criminal charges were dropped in April 2023. However, he was indicted for involuntary manslaughter a second time earlier this year and headed to trial in July.

The case was dismissed by First Judicial District Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer in July. Sommer agreed with Baldwin’s lawyers that prosecutors hid evidence that may have been linked to the fatal shooting.

Alec Baldwin Slams Claim He's Profiting off Halyna Hutchins' Death

“There is no way for the court to right this wrong,” Sommer told the court, per NBC News. “The sanction of dismissal is the only warranted remedy.” The dismissal was with prejudice, which meant the involuntary manslaughter case against Baldwin could not be filed again, however, Morrissey sought to appeal that decision.

The film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in March and sentenced to 18 months in prison. Her attorneys’ appeal for a new trial was denied in September.

Blake Lively's Brother-in-Law Calls Justin Baldoni 'Fraud' With a 'Man Bun'

Blake Lively's Brother-in-Law Calls Justin Baldoni a 'Fraud' With a 'Man Bun'

Blake Lively’s brother-in-law, Bart Johnson, has hit out at “fraud” Justin Baldoni.

The High School Musical actor, who is married to Lively’s sister, Robyn Lively, took to X on Monday, December 23, to share his candid thoughts on Baldoni amid Blake’s sexual harassment lawsuit against her It Ends With Us director and costar.

“He’s a fraud. He puts on the ‘costume’ of a hero, man bun and all,” Johnson, 54, shared.

“Used all of the trendy catchphrases & buzz words for his podcasts,” he continued, referring to Baldoni’s podcast, “Man Enough,” on which the actor and director tackles themes such as toxic masculinity, mental health and gender disparity.

Breaking Down Blake Lively’s Accusations Against Justin Baldoni

According to Johnson, “None of it’s genuine. It’s all theater. And everyone fell for it. For years. Rewatch his videos with a more critical eye and watch him compliment and praise himself with faux humility and self-deprecation. What a performance.”

Blake, 37, filed a complaint against Baldoni, 40, with the California Civil Complaints Department on Friday, December 20, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment on the set of their recent Colleen Hoover adaptation. She also claimed Baldoni was behind a digital smear campaign to tarnish her reputation.

In a statement to Us Weekly on Saturday, December 21, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, said Blake’s accusations were “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious.” Freedman claimed that Blake sued to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” regarding the film’s production. Freedman further alleged that Blake made “multiple demands and threats” while filming It Ends With Us, including “threatening to not show up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release, if her demands were not met.”

Blake Lively Docs Claims Another Cast Member Complained About Justin

Johnson — best known as Coach Bolton in the High School Musical films — previously supported his sister-in-law on Saturday after news of the lawsuit went public.

“Her complaints were filed during the filming. On record. Long before the public conflict. The cast unfollowed him for a reason,” Johnson alleged in the comments section of The New York Times’ Instagram post about Blake’s lawsuit “Read this article before spiting [sic] ignorance.”

“His PR team was stellar. Gross and disgusting but highly effective,” Johnson continued. “Read the article, their text message exchanges and his PR campaign strategy to bury her by any means necessary. No one is with out [sic] faults. But the public got played.”

Celebs Who Have Spoken Out About Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

Johnson claimed that “of course mistakes were made” and pointed to Blake’s many responsibilities, including being a mom of four to her and husband Ryan Reynolds’ children.

“But just IMAGINE being a stay at home mom raising 4 kids, married to the busiest man in Hollywood and at the same time being a girl boss running multiple companies while writing, producing, running non profits and working 16+ hour days from home so you can be with your kids,” he wrote. “Launching 2 new businesses you been working on / developing for many years (launch scheduled by distributors, not you, btw) all while getting attacked by a VERY expensive PR smear campaign because you filed a sexual harassment claim for the very film you have to go out and promote with just the right tone or you get cooked!?”

Johnson noted that it looks like Blake is “doing a hell of a job to me and trying to do good things for the right reasons.”

Blake Lively's Family Guide: Meet Her 4 Siblings, Kids and More

“But yeah let’s post from our couch how much we hate her for making mistakes,” he continued. “That makes sense. I mean, she’s been rude in these interviews that magically played on repeat. I saw it. None of us have ever been wrong or mean. Never. We should discount decades of good for those few bad moments. Glad the microscope isn’t on me every day of my life.”

Johnson’s wife, Robyn, supported her sister via social media on Saturday. “FINALLY justice for my sister @blakelively,” Robyn, 52, wrote via her Instagram Story, sharing screenshots of a New York Times article about the lawsuit.

Tallulah, 30, and Acee shared pictures and videos of Monday’s sweet proposal, including snaps of her diamond engagement ring. In one picture, her hand is entwined around Acee’s, while a video shows the sweet scene for the proposal: a series of rose petals and candles in the shape of an arrow leading into a living room adorned with lit-up Christmas trees. “We did it! It was a team effort,” Acee can be heard saying.

Tallulah also celebrated her engagement with a cute snap with her mom’s famous Chihuahua, Pilaf, holding Moore’s pet dog in front of her face and flashing her engagement ring.

“Everyday [sic],” the couple captioned their post.

Earlier Monday, Tallulah shared images from her family Christmas celebrations in Idaho via her Instagram Stories, tagging Acee, Moore and her older sisters, Rumer, 36, and Scout, 33, in a video in which Acee and Moore can be seen decorating a Christmas tree.

Rumer reposted Tallulah’s engagement announcement via her own Instagram Story and wrote, “Baby Sis is Engaged! Love you so much [Justin and Tallulah].” She also commented on Tallulah and Acee’s joint post, “The most beautiful love to witness and watch grow. I love you both so much. Justin, I’m so lucky I get to call you my brother. Baby Lula my gift my queen my heart is so full. Obsessed with you both.”

Scout posted her own pictures of Acee’s proposal to her younger sister via Instagram Stories, writing, “My angels are ENGAGED!”

Tallulah was previously engaged to director Dillon Buss, with whom she announced her engagement in May 2021. However, she shared in a June 2023 essay for Vogue that they had broken up a year before.

It’s unclear when Tallulah and Acee began dating, but earlier this year, Tallulah starred in a music video for Acee’s song “Ugly Truth,” which he released under his stage name, Nighties. “Lulah and I had such a blast making this. Not only did we get to make something special together, but we were blessed to work alongside SOOO many talented creatives. There’s a lot more I could say but we’ll let the video speak for itself. I love you all,” he wrote via Instagram alongside a clip from the video.

Tallulah has also been open about supporting her father through his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis in 2023. Frontotemporal dementia affects the brain and is “associated with personality, behavior and language,” according to the Mayo Clinic. Bruce’s family first publicly shared details of his health issues in 2022.

In August, Tallulah spoke about how special her visits with Bruce, 69, are to her amid his health condition and the importance of maintaining a “connection.”

“Our visits have so much love and I feel that,” Tallulah told E! News. “And that overarches anything for me — being able to have that connection.”

She continued, “I know he knows how much I love him. I know how much he loves me. I know how much he loves all of us.”

‘It Ends With Us’ Studio Supports Blake Lively Amid Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

Brandon Sklenar Supports It Ends With Us Costar Blake Lively Amid Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni 674

It Ends With Us studio Sony Pictures and SAG-AFTRA have released statements in support of Blake Lively amid her allegations accusing costar and director Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her.

“We have previously expressed our support for Blake in connection with her work on and for the film. We fully and firmly reiterate that support today,” a spokesperson for Sony told Variety in a Monday, December 23, statement. “Further, we strongly condemn any reputational attacks on her. Any such attacks have no place in our business or in a civil society.”

Hours earlier, the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artist also spoke out against the “startling and troubling allegations” in a statement to Deadline, noting that they “applaud” Lively’s “courage in speaking out on issues of retaliation and harassment and for er request to have an intimacy coordinator for all scenes with nudity or sexual content.”

“This is an important step that helps ensure a safe set,” a guild spokesperson told the outlet on Monday. “Employees have every right to raise issues of concern or to file complaints. Retaliation for reporting misconduct or inappropriate behavior is illegal and wrong. We all have a right to be treated with dignity and respect on the job and to work in an environment free of harassment, discrimination and retaliation.”

Blake Lively Sues It Ends With Us’ Justin Baldoni for Sexual Harassment

Lively, 37, filed the complaint against Baldoni, 40, on Friday, December 20, claiming he created a “hostile work environment” on the It Ends With Us set and caused the Gossip Girl alum “severe emotional distress.” The lawsuit additionally claimed that Baldoni and his team had launched a “social manipulation” campaign against Lively to damage her reputation.

The documents, obtained by Us Weekly after it first reported by TMZ and The New York Times, stated that a meeting was held during the film’s production in January to address Lively’s claims against her costar that included  “no more showing nude videos or images of women to Blake, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous “pornography addiction” no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew’s genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s dead father.”

Baldoni, for his part, has vehemently denied the allegations against him.

Justin Baldoni s Fallout Following Blake Lively s Lawsuit Everything He s Lost Since 664

As for Lively’s smear campaign allegations — which included text messages from Baldoni and his team — Freedman told Us The Agency Group PR, which was hired by Baldoni and is one of several firms named in the lawsuit, “operated as any other crisis management firm would when hired by a client experiencing threats by two extremely powerful people with unlimited resources.”

Freedman also claimed that the texts were taken out of context. “The standard scenario planning TAG PR drafted proved unnecessary as audiences found Lively’s own actions, interviews and marketing during the promotional tour distasteful, and responded organically to that which the media themselves picked up on,” he continued. “It’s ironic that the New York Times, through their effort to ‘uncover’ an insidious PR effort, played directly into the hands of Lively’s own dubious PR tactics by publishing leaked personal text exchanges that lack critical context — the very same tactics she’s accusing the firm of implementing.”

Sony and SAG-AFTRA are just the latest to speak out in support of Lively. It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover took to social media on Saturday, December 21, to praise Lively for being nothing but being “honest, kind, supportive and patient from day one.”

Blake Lively Claims Another Cast Member Complained About Justin Baldoni

Lively and Baldoni’s costar Brandon Sklenar also came to the Simple Favor star’s defense, sharing the NYT story about the allegations via his Instagram Story on Monday.  “For the love of god read this,” he wrote with a link to the article, tagging Lively and adding a red heart emoji.

Baldoni, meanwhile, has been dropped by his agency WME, who also represent Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. His “Man Enough” podcast host, Liz Plank, also announced her exit on Monday along with women’s non-profit Vital Voices rescinding their Voices of Solidarity Award, which Baldoni was presented with just last week.

Jodie Turner-Smith Says Joshua Jackson Hasn't Paid Child Support Since Split

Jodie Turner Smith Claims Estranged Husband Joshua Jackson Hasn t Paid Child Support Amid Divorce 669
Jodie Turner-Smith, Joshua Jackson.

Jodie Turner-Smith claimed that her estranged husband, Joshua Jackson, owes her child support and spousal support amid their divorce.

Turner-Smith, 38, alleged in new court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Monday, December 23, that Jackson, 46, has not paid her any child support since news broke in October 2023 that they parted ways. She is requesting he pay her $8,543 per month retroactive to the date of her initial filing. (TMZ was first to report the news.)

The Bad Monkey actress also requested that Jackson pay her $28,641 a month in spousal support while their divorce is still pending. (She initially asked the court to take spousal support off the table but has seemingly changed her mind.)

She is asking that the court order the Dawson’s Creek alum to pay her $250,000 to cover her attorney fees and other costs as they continue to hash out their legal split.

Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith Split After 4 Years of Marriage

Turner-Smith claimed that Jackson “promised to always support me” and “ensured” her that she would “not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother.”

She argued in the docs that Jackson made more money than her during their four-year marriage and accused him of piling up attorney’s fees by dragging out their divorce.

Turner-Smith alleged that the Doctor Odyssey star is “reneging” on his “promise” to financially protect her and their 4-year-old daughter. (The former couple welcomed their child in April 2020.)

Joshua Jackson Cites Different Date of Separation From Jodie Turner-Smith

Us confirmed in October 2023 that Turner-Smith filed for divorce from Jackson after four years of marriage. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup and listed the date of separation as September 13, 2023.

Turner-Smith, who married the Mighty Ducks actor in 2019, noted in the initial docs that she was looking for joint custody of their child.

Despite hitting a bump in their legal proceedings, Turner-Smith has been positive about her coparenting experience with Jackson over the past year.

“It’s an adjustment period for anyone when they split up with someone, because you’re used to being with your child all the time,” she told Glamour in an interview published in October. “But nobody hands you a manual. Everyone’s trying to figure it out. Each parent has a different life, and especially if the reason why you’re splitting up is because you have different lives, it’s only further complicated by how you’re going to coparent.”

The following month, Turner-Smith told Entertainment Tonight that coparenting comes down to thinking “about your kids” at all times. “When you’re parenting in the public eye, everything that you do — eventually, there’s a record of it,” she explained. “You don’t want your kids to read anything and think anything.”

She added: “It’s just about — center the children and that’s all you can do. Nobody gets everything right but at least when you know you’re focused on the right thing, you know you’re gonna do your best.”

Joshua Jackson 'Caught Off Guard' by Jodie Turner-Smith Divorce (Source)

Jackson — who dated Lupita Nyong’o from fall 2023 to October of this year — has remained quiet about his and Turner-Smith’s ongoing divorce. In September, he did share a rare glimpse at his life as a girl dad.

He exclusively told Us in September that he couldn’t pick the best thing about being a parent. “It’s not a part; it’s the whole thing,” Jackson gushed. “It’s every single day. She is a joy.”

Jackson noted that his daughter influences every aspect of his life. “I have a 4-year-old. She’s in school. I need to work here, and I want to be able to be, like, a dad,” he explained. “That’s really honestly my main priority.”

Being close to home is what drew the actor to his latest role on Doctor Odyssey. “I really wanted to do something where it was lighter, where I didn’t have to go home as a head case every night, brooding and heavy,” he added.

Us Weekly has reached out to Jackson’s team for comment.

Brandon Sklenar Supports Blake Lively Amid Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni

Brandon Sklenar Supports It Ends With Us Costar Blake Lively Amid Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni 673
Blake Lively, Brandon Sklenar.

Brandon Sklenar has publicly supported It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively amid her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.

Sklenar, 34, reposted the New York Times article that broke the news of Lively’s allegations against Baldoni, 40, via his Instagram Story on Monday, December 23.

He titled the link to the story, “For the Love of God Read This.” The actor, who starred in It Ends With Us alongside Lively, 37, and Baldoni, tagged the actress in the post alongside a single red heart emoji.

News broke on Saturday, December 21, that Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni accusing him of sexual harassment and of launching a “social manipulation” campaign against her to “destroy” her reputation.

Brandon Sklenar Explains Why He Spoke Out Amid ‘It Ends With Us’ Drama

Baldoni has denied the allegations via his attorney, Bryan Freedman, who called Lively’s accusations “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious” in a statement to Us Weekly. Since the lawsuit has made headlines, Baldoni has suffered from major fallout including being dropped from his talent agency.

Sklenar’s support comes one day after he celebrated the holidays with friends Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Teller, Chace Crawford and more. Keleigh, who is friends with Lively and Taylor Swift, shared a series of snaps from the festivities.

Brandon Sklenar Supports It Ends With Us Costar Blake Lively Amid Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni 674

Lively and Sklenar formed a friendship while working on It Ends With Us. In the film, Lively’s character, Lily, escapes an abusive relationship with Ryle, played by Baldoni, with help from her old flame Atlas, portrayed by Sklenar. While promoting the movie over the summer, Sklenar was present with Lively during press to promote the film, while Baldoni conducted his interviews solo. When Lively was under fire for seemingly downplaying the movie’s domestic violence plot line during press, Sklenar was the first of Lively’s It Ends With Us costars to come to her defense. (Lively later shared domestic violence resources via her social media page.)

“Colleen and the women of this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and for women choosing a better life for themselves,” he wrote via a lengthy August Instagram statement. “Vilifying the women who put so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and detracts from what this film is about. It is, in fact, the opposite of the point.”

What 'It Ends With Us' Cast Has Said About Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

Sklenar continued: “What may or may not have happened behind the scenes does not and hopefully should not detract from what our intentions were in making this film. It’s been disheartening to see the amount of negativity being projected online.”

Sklenar shared that “there isn’t a single person involved in the making of this film” that wasn’t “aware of the responsibility we had in making this,” and added, “This movie is a harsh reality check for the men who need to get their s— together and take responsibility for themselves and their actions.”

Everything Justin Baldoni's Lost Amid Fallout From Blake Lively's Lawsuit

Justin Baldoni s Fallout Following Blake Lively s Lawsuit Everything He s Lost Since 666

Justin Baldoni is already dealing with major fallout days after Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against him.

The New York Times reported on December 21 that Lively filed a lawsuit on December 20 in which she accused him of sexual harassment and launching a “social manipulation” campaign against her to “destroy” her reputation during the promotion of their film It Ends With Us. The docs, which were also obtained by Us Weekly, claimed that Lively was not the only cast member who complained about Baldoni.

Baldoni, who has been a vocal supporter of women’s issues, has denied the allegations via his lawyer Bryan Freedman who called Lively’s accusations “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious” in a statement to Us. The statement claimed that Lively filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” about the film’s production.

Us reached out to Lively’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back. In a statement to The New York Times regarding her lawsuit, the actress said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”

Breaking Down Blake Lively’s Accusations Against Justin Baldoni

While Baldoni has maintained innocence since the lawsuit’s filing, he has suffered from a series of career setbacks. Baldoni was quickly dropped from his talent agency in addition to having an award rescinded.

Keep scrolling to see what Baldoni has lost since news broke of Lively’s lawsuit:

Dropped From WME

The same day that news broke of Lively’s lawsuit, talent agency WME (William Morris Endeavor) dropped Baldoni as a client. Deadline reported that the decision was made by WME leadership and was partly due to Lively’s lawsuit.

WME also represents Lively where she still remains a client.

Vital Voices Award Rescinded

Justin Baldoni s Fallout Following Blake Lively s Lawsuit Everything He s Lost Since 665

One week before news broke of Lively’s lawsuit, Baldoni was awarded at the 2024 Vital Voices Solidarity Awards which is an “awards program that honors remarkable men who have shown courage and compassion in advocating on behalf of women and girls worldwide,” per the organization’s website. The honor was presented by his It Ends With Us costar Hasan Minhaj.

On December 23, Vital Voices announced they rescinded the award and alerted Baldoni of the decision amid the legal drama.

“The Voices of Solidarity Award honors remarkable men who have shown courage and compassion in advocating on behalf of women and girls,” a statement shared via Instagram read. “On December 9, 2024, we recognized Justin Baldoni with this award. On Saturday, December 21, we learned through news reports about a lawsuit brought by Blake Lively against Mr. Baldoni, his publicists, and others that is disturbing and alleges abhorrent conduct. The communications among Mr. Baldoni and his publicists in the lawsuit — and the PR effort they indicate — are, alone, contrary to the values of Vital Voices and the spirit of the Award.”

Losing a Cohost

Justin Baldoni s Fallout Following Blake Lively s Lawsuit Everything He s Lost Since 668

Baldoni hosted the podcast “Man Enough” alongside author Liz Plank. On December 23, Plank announced her departure from the show after four years.

“I’m writing to you today to let you know that I have had my representatives inform Wayfarer that I will no longer be co-hosting the ‘Man Enough’ podcast,” Plank wrote in a statement obtained by People. “Thank you for trusting me with your hearts and stories, for holding space for mine, and for making this show what it was. I will miss you, the listeners, so much. I love what this community created together with every fiber of my being, and that’s because of you.”

Plank added that while “this chapter closes” for her, she plans on staying “committed to the values we’ve built together.”

“Thank you for being here, for trusting me, and for being by my side for the last four years. We all deserve better, and I know that together, we can create it,” she continued. “I will have more to share soon as I continue to process everything that has happened. In the meantime, I will continue to support everyone who calls out injustice and holds the people standing in their way accountable.”

She did not refer to Baldoni or the lawsuit in her statement.

“More important than that, he got married here. He started a family here. He lost his dad three days before Christmas.”

The anchor recalled seeing Jones “just a couple of weeks ago” in the cafeteria, noting he was “hopeful” and “reflective,” telling him, “He just wanted his family to be OK after a recent move to Texas.”

The show opened with Kelce, dressed as Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, singing an improvised version of “Silent Night” that gave a shoutout to one of his Monday Night Countdown cohosts.

“Marcus Spears, a.k. a. Swagoo / We will see you soon,” Kelce sang. “Football is awwwww-some.”

Inside Lambeau Field, Kelce was then seen sitting at the Monday Night Countdown analyst desk still dressed as Santa.

Monday Night Countdown host Scott Van Pelt first teased Kelce’s jolly appearance on Monday afternoon.

“Coming up on MNCD….,” Van Pelt, 58, shared via X, alongside a picture of Kelce as Santa and Van Pelt dressed up as Buddy the Elf, Will Ferrell’s character from Elf

The first thing many of Van Pelt’s followers noticed was Kelce’s significant weight loss, which made for a very slimmed-down Santa.

“Kelce looking so thin!!” one person wrote via X. “Definitely my favorite Santa.” Another said, “Omg Kelce is skinny Santa 🎅🏻.”

On the Thursday, November 19 bonus episode of Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, Kelce revealed how he found out the truth about Santa Claus while growing up in Ohio.

“Somebody told me, and I don’t remember how old I was,” he recalled. “I was in elementary school. But I remember coming home and asking mom and dad and being sat down and them explaining to me, ‘Unfortunately, it’s not real. But we need you to not tell Travis.’”

Kelce cohosts the popular podcast with his younger brother, Travis Kelce, who credited Jason for not spilling the beans.

“Well, Jason didn’t tell me,” Travis, 35, said. “I figured it out on my own when every single present had mom’s handwriting on it.”

Jason laughed as Travis remembered how their mother, Donna Kelce, inadvertently let the cat out of the bag.

“I was like, ‘This is how mom spells all of our names,’” Travis said. “I was just like, ‘What the f—? Where’s the one that’s from Santa and not mom? Santa and mom have the same handwriting, that’s crazy.’”

The game between the Saints and Packers marks the final Monday Night Countdown broadcast before Christmas. The crew returns to the air on Monday, December 30, when the Detroit Lions travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers.

Dave Grohl and Wife to Spend Christmas 'As a Family' After Scandal: Report

Dave Grohl and Wife Will Spend Christmas As a Family After Paternity Scandal

Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, are planning to celebrate the holidays by each other’s sides.

“They are all spending Christmas as a family,” a source told People on Monday, December 23. Us Weekly reached out to Grohl’s rep for comment.

Months before the holidays, the Foo Fighters frontman revealed that he welcomed a child outside of his marriage with Blum. (Grohl and Blum, who tied the knot in 2003, share three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.)

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” he wrote via Instagram in September. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children.”

He continued, “I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward.”

Blum has not spoken publicly about the situation, nor addressed the status of their marriage. Later that month, she was spotted without her wedding ring, per photos obtained by Page Six.

Dave Grohl and Wife Will Spend Christmas As a Family After Paternity Scandal

Years before the paternity scandal, Grohl, 55, got candid about his initial meeting with Blum in 2001 — and said he knew she was his future ex.

“Some bombshell comes up and starts talking to [my bandmate] Taylor [Hawkins]. I was just out of a Tenacious D session,” Grohl recalled to Q Magazine in 2007. “I’ve got Vans trainers on, no socks, dirty shorts and a dirty T-shirt, surrounded by beautiful Hollywood.”

Grohl claimed that the woman waved her friend over, who was Blum. “I was like, ‘Oh my, God. Not a chance!’ So I’m just having some drinks and acting like a jackass,” he explained. “And by the end of the night, I was pissed and I’m staring at her going, ‘You’re my future ex-wife.’ So she gave me her number: ‘Jordyn, your future ex-wife.’”

Dave Grohl’s Wife Jordyn Blum Spotted Without Wedding Ring After Scandal

After the first encounter, Grohl said that he and Blum “saw each other a few times.” He added, “But I realized that this was the flag, the finish line and I’m like, ‘Oh, wait a minute.’ So I backed out.”

They ultimately rekindled their romance and exchanged vows. Prior to his marriage to Blum, Grohl wed Jennifer Leigh Youngblood in 1994. The twosome went their separate ways three years later after Grohl admitted to being unfaithful.

This wasn’t the first time Grohl allegedly cheated. His ex-girlfriend Tina Basich claimed that he stepped out of their two-year-long relationship.

“I don’t know how anyone in his profession can have a normal relationship with a girlfriend … or two, as it turned out,” Basich wrote in her 2003 memoir Pretty Good for a Girl. “I found out secondhand, through the grapevine, when it seemed like everyone else in the world knew about it but me. … All I got was a five-minute phone call from him, after five weeks of me calling and trying to get ahold of him because I just had to know if these rumors were true and had to hear it straight from the source.”

The Internet's Best Boyfriends of 2024, Ranked

Several male celebrities took the internet’s heart by storm in 2024, but a handful stood out from the rest of the pack.

For those unfamiliar with the phrase “Internet Boyfriend,” the term is applied to popular celebrities who fans collectively have a crush on at the same time. For example, Nicholas Alexander Chavez not only won fans over with his impressive performance in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story but also for a viral TikTok fan edit.

Longtime internet boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, meanwhile, had a jam-packed 2024 with his films Dune: Part Two and A Complete Unknown. UPDATE 12/23 – 6:00pm EST: Vital Voices, the organization behind the Vital Voices Solidarity Awards, has chosen to rescind an award recently given to It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni amid his ongoing legal battle with Blake Lively.

“The Voices of Solidarity Award honors remarkable men who have shown courage and compassion in advocating on behalf of women and girls,” a statement shared via Instagram on Monday, December 23, read.

Vital Voices confirmed in the statement they had “notified Mr. Baldoni that we have rescinded this award.”

Original story below:

Hasan Minhaj honored Justin Baldoni as an ally for women’s rights just one week before news broke of Blake Lively’s lawsuit against the It Ends With Us director.

It seems a moment between two men congratulating each other on being allies to women hasn’t aged well. Earlier this month, Baldoni, 40, was honored by Minhaj, 39, at the 2024 Vital Voices Solidarity Awards which, according to the official website, is an “awards program that honors remarkable men who have shown courage and compassion in advocating on behalf of women and girls worldwide.”

Following the event, which was hosted on December 9 by non-profit Vital Voices, Baldoni wrote via Instagram that he was “deeply honored and humbled” to receive the 2024 Vital Voices Solidarity Award “presented by my soul brother [Minhaj].”

Minhaj starred in It Ends With Us as Marshall alongside Baldoni and Lively, 37.

Breaking Down Blake Lively’s Accusations Against Justin Baldoni

“Thank you, brother, for using your brilliant mind to be of service by challenging us all and making us laugh at the same time. No one does it better,” Baldoni’s post continued. “Thank you for being a true friend and always showing up — but most importantly, when the cameras aren’t rolling.”

Baldoni, who also hosts a podcast called “Man Enough” about modern masculinity and gender roles, went on to write that it was “hard to accept an award when it’s so evident that there is still so much more work to do.”

“My hope is that we can teach our boys, while they are still young, that vulnerability is strength, sensitivity is a super power, and empathy makes them powerful,” he continued. “That they should love and embrace their masculinity — that being a boy and a man is amazing and nothing to apologize for. And to value all the beautiful and complicated parts of them that make them human. I believe with all my heart that once our boys learn to be safe spaces for themselves, our world will finally be a safe space for everyone.”

On Friday, December 20, one week after Baldoni accepted this award, Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him with allegations that he had created a “hostile work environment” on the It Ends With Us set and caused the actress “severe emotional distress.”

Blake Lively Claims Justin Baldoni Texted About Ruining Her Reputation

Per the lawsuit, which was obtained by Us Weekly after it was reported by TMZ and The New York Times, a meeting was held during the film’s production in January to address Lively’s claims against her costar.

Lively’s demands for the meeting included “no more showing nude videos or images of women to Blake, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous ‘pornography addiction,’ no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew’s genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s dead father.”

In a statement to Us, Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman addressed Lively’s “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious” allegations, claiming she filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” about the film’s production. He alleged Lively made “multiple demands and threats,” which included “threatening to not show up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release, if her demands were not met.”

Additionally, the lawsuit claimed that Baldoni and his team had orchestrated a smear campaign against Lively to damage her reputation. Earlier this year, the actress was the subject of a social media firestorm surrounding the promotion for It Ends With Us, when it was reported that she and Baldoni had clashed on set.

What 'It Ends With Us' Cast Has Said About Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

“There were two camps on the film — team Blake and team Justin,” a source exclusively told Us in August. “This creative struggle set the tone for the negative experience behind the scenes and grew into them not speaking anymore.”

Minhaj, for his part, was asked about this alleged feud in a September with Esquire, saying he “can’t speak to other people’s experience” on set, noting that “everybody was very professional and cool to me.”

He added, “It was lovely and everybody was lovely, and it is just as disillusioning for me, because I’m like, ‘What happened? Wait, what’s going on?’”

In a statement to The New York Times on Saturday, Lively — who has received support from several stars, including It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover and producer Alex Saks— said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.” She denied spreading negative information about Baldoni.

Gwyneth Paltrow is coming to the support of Blake Lively and her haircare line, Blake Brown.

Following Lively’s sexual harassment allegations against her It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni, she received public support from figures including Paltrow, 52. Lively’s accusations against Baldoni include unwanted kissing during filming and a campaign to damage her reputation. Baldoni has vehemently denied these claims, calling them “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious.”

Paltrow publicly showed her support for Lively, 37, on the day the complaint was released. In an Instagram Story, she featured Lively’s Blake Brown haircare line on her Christmas wish list, adding a queen emoji to her post.

According to the legal documents obtained by Us Weekly, the effects of Baldoni’s tear down campaign against Lively’s professional life were “immediate and substantial.” This includes Blake Brown, which launched around the same time as It Ends With Us’ theatrical release this summer.

How Blake Lively Referenced Her and Ryan Reynolds' Kids in Baldoni Lawsuit

As a result of negative chatter on social media, Lively claimed she felt she could not “proceed with public appearances or events without being forced to openly discuss what happened on set.”

One such incident allegedly included cancelling a “critical” Target corporate event for said haircare company, which she backed out of her scheduled appearance for.

The lawsuit also alleges that the retaliation campaign against Lively resulted in damage to her companies as well, like the launch of Blake Brown, which Lively had spent seven years building up to.

“The long-planned launch of her haircare line, Blake Brown — a date which was set more than a year prior to the date selected,” the documents read, “for the release of the film — was caught up in the crossfires of the negative environment against [Lively].”

Celebs Who Have Spoken Out About Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

Prior to when the “social manipulation” campaign was underway, the Gossip Girl actress was informed that Blake Brown was Target’s largest haircare launch on record. And based on internal sales projects the “sudden and unexpected negative media campaign launched” negatively affected retail sales of products by a whopping “56%–78%.”

What’s more, the Instagram account for the brand was allegedly flooded by “harassing and derogatory comments, including many posted by user accounts that had no followers and no prior posts,” which suggested an inauthenticity, according to court papers.
