Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy appears to be honoring her late boyfriend with a subtle tribute.

Cassidy, 25, shared a photo of herself curling up to her and Payne’s dog, Nala, via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, December 22. In the pic, Cassidy is seen with angel wings tattooed on her index and middle fingers.

The influencer simply posted a red heart emoji over the image, in which Nala can be seen gazing at the camera.

Cassidy and Payne fostered Nala just one month before the One Direction singer died at age 31 after falling from a third-floor hotel room balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16.

“We have a little special guest with us today,” Cassidy said in a September 16 TikTok video introducing her and Payne’s new pet.

Cassidy said in the video that she was “so nervous” to ask Payne to get a dog with her. She said she found a dog shelter near their Miami home and shared that “Liam was totally on board.”

Cassidy and Payne settled on Nala after meeting three different dogs at the shelter, she said. “This dog … we figured was the best fit for us. She’s so sweet. She’s only four months old. Quiet moments were also spliced with a series of lighthearted memories, including footage of Payne, who traveled with Cassidy just two weeks before his death, dragging his amused girlfriend’s legs around a kitchen floor and bowling with her.

Cassidy, who was first linked to Payne in October 2022, attended Payne’s November 20 funeral in Amersham, England, along with Payne’s former One Direction bandmates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. On Sunday, December 22, the actress’ Sisterhood of Traveling Pants costars, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel, released a statement in support of the star amid her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.

Khloe posted a video of their mother-daughter twinning via her Instagram on Friday, December 20. In the post, the two played out a scene from their previous reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

“It’s just not cool that you copy me,” lip synced Khloe over the sound from the original clip, where Kourtney accuses Jenner of wearing something too similar. “I go to lengths to try to get things that not everybody has.”

Kjersti Flaa, the journalist who previously said an interview with Blake Lively made her want to “quit” her job, has denied being part of an alleged smear campaign against the actress.

“OK, so I have to say something because now I see that things are starting to snowball and people start thinking that I had anything to do with the smear campaign against Blake Lively, that was orchestrated allegedly by Justin Baldoni and his team,” Flaa said via Instagram on Saturday, December 21, adding that she had read through the lawsuit and the alleged “dirty work” going on behind-the-scenes. “I just wanted to say I had nothing to do with it.”

Flaa said she was “shocked” and “appalled” by the text messages between Baldoni’s PR team that were included in the lawsuit filed by Lively, 37, on Friday, December 20.

“I would never take part in anything like that,” she said. “That’s such an insult to me.”

Move over, Home Alone! There’s no shortage of films to watch over the Christmas season, but there are more movies to add to the queue beyond It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street or A Christmas Story.

Die Hard is the quintessential film that wasn’t considered a Christmas classic at first. However, some fans count the 1988 thriller among their favorite holiday flicks.

In the film, New York City cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) reunites with his estranged wife (Bonnie Bedelia) in Los Angeles at her office’s Christmas Eve party. John must rescue the employees after a gang of terrorists take them hostage.

Die Hard director John McTiernan might not have intended for the action film to become a Christmas classic. Author Larry Taylor detailed McTiernan’s initial intentions for the movie in his book John McTiernan: Rise and Fall of An Action Movie Icon.

“He didn’t consciously make it a Christmas movie, but he made sure to weave certain elements of it into the tapestry of the film,” Taylor explained. “It would keep the holiday season right behind the action, and it would help alleviate some of the stress of the intense action.”

Michael Jackson’s son Prince Jackson got candid about the legacy of his dad in a rare interview.

“I come from a very rich family history, and those are some big shoes to fill,” Prince, 27, told Associated Press on Thursday, December 19. “I don’t know if I ever could. But I wear it with … it’s like a badge of honor.”

Prince noted that he and his siblings — sister Paris Jackson, 26, and brother Bigi Jackson, 22 — have held onto a piece of their late father in various ways.

“My siblings and I, we each kind of got a piece of him in different ways,” Prince said. “For me, it’s that philanthropic kind of giving back, and that’s where I’m really passionate about. I just hope the work that we do makes him proud.”

Prince honored his father through cofounding the nonprofit Heal Los Angeles in 2016 while a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Ahead of the holidays, Prince hosted an event at a Mattel toy store on Tuesday allowing kids to load up on toys to take home.

“It warms my heart when we see the kids smile at the end of the day,” he said. “So, it’s really fun.”

Michael welcomed Prince and Paris with ex-wife Debbie Rowe, whom he was married to from 1996 to 1999. Son Bibi arrived via surrogate in 2002.

While reflecting on Michael’s legacy following the 15th anniversary of his death, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the “King of Pop” would be proud of where his kids are today. (Michael died at the age of 50 in 2009.)

“Some people could let nepotism get to their heads, but they are the complete opposite of that,” the insider said, while a separate source noted that Prince “loves riding motorcycles and his charity work.”

While Prince has been dating college sweetheart Molly Schirmang for over seven years, he doesn’t have plans to tie the knot anytime soon.

“Molly doesn’t care about Prince’s fame or who his family is,” a third insider said in April, noting that Schirmang gets along well with Paris and Bigi. “They want the same things out of life and are taking each day as it comes.”

While balancing his relationship with Schirmang, Prince also has a close bond with his younger siblings.

“They are each other’s best friends and all stick together,” the second source said. “Michael would be so happy.”

Since their time on Pretty Little Liars, the cast of the hit Freeform series have been candid about their search for love.

Before and after starring on the hit Freeform series, which ran for seven seasons from 2010 to 2017, Lucy Hale dated a number of famous faces, including David Henrie, Chris Zylka and Skeet Ulrich.

“I haven’t really had rules with dating,” Hale, who played Aria on PLL, said of her love life during a January 2023 appearance on Rachel Bilson‘s “Broad Ideas” podcast. “I’ve dated all the way up to 52 — [from] 27 to 52. I’m 33 and I feel like I’ll probably end up with someone around my age or older, just because of the non-negotiables. I feel like a lot of people in that older age bracket will meet those.”

David and Victoria Beckham’s son Brooklyn is gearing up to celebrate Christmas with his family.

“The family will all be together in Miami this year, which will be lovely,” Brooklyn, 25, said in an interview published by The Sunday Times on Sunday, December 22.

When it comes to buying gifts for his family, Brooklyn shared he had a few ideas in mind. (David and Victoria, who wed in 1999, share sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper.)

“Maybe a bottle of wine for my dad, while my brothers are really into clothes and trainers,” Brooklyn said. “Last year we got Harper a travel make-up kit that she still uses, so something along those lines again for her.”

As for his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Brooklyn noted that the couple has a routine for their gifts to each other. (Brooklyn and Nicola, 29, tied the knot in 2022.)

Despite Brooklyn and Nicola opting to purchase pajamas for each other on Christmas, he recently set the record straight on a rumor that the twosome spend $100,000 per week on clothing.

“[A fan] wants to know if it’s true — OK, this is crazy — that you and your wife spend $105,000 on your combined weekly wardrobe,” Andy Cohen asked Brooklyn during a November episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

“Very good that we debunked it,” Cohen replied.

As Brooklyn navigates married life, he exclusively told Us Weekly that his dad shared some words of wisdom for him.

“My dad was just always [like], “Look, just always treat her like a princess,’” Brooklyn told Us in September 2023. He recalled his dad telling him, “Just talk and have fun. Enjoy each other and just work and do you guys’ thing.”

While reflecting on his relationship, Brooklyn shared his own advice. “I think one of probably the most important things that you can do in your life is find that someone and don’t let ’em go,” he told Us. “I married my best friend, so it’s just easy, fun. She’s always there for me. I’m always there for her. We support each other more than anyone. She’s the best. We’re very happy. First year has been great.”

Gigi Hadid is a big-time fan of Bradley Cooper’s cooking — and she’s sharing it with the world.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Friday, December 20, Hadid, 29, shared a photo of herself at the Danny & Coop’s Cheesesteaks stand in New York City.

“151 Avenue A, NY NY 10009, soft open — Today thru Sunday,” she wrote, adding the opening hours. “Til daily ingredients last!”

Moore shared footage of the moment that Lowe, 60, joined her at a December 14 screening of The Substance in Beverly Hills, California. They even posed together with Moore’s beloved pet dog, Pilaf.

While answering fan questions, Moore had requested “a little extra time” to ponder one about her favorite movie when Lowe, suddenly, jumped up from his seat in the crowd.

“Of all the stuff I did in the ’80s, if I had to pick one, it would for sure be About Last Night,” Lowe said on an October episode of Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk About It” podcast, noting he and Moore briefly had a fling, too. “I mean, Demi and I briefly — I’m not telling tales out of school — we briefly had a thing.”

At the time, Lowe also teased that he and Moore were discussing a potential St. Elmo’s Fire sequel.

“It’s moving along,” Lowe said on the podcast episode. “It’s going a little more slowly than I would have liked, but that’s a good thing because we’re trying to find the right writer and the right story. But all of the actors, everybody is on board. Everybody’s excited.”

He further noted, “I think the theme of St. Elmo’s Fire today is that it’s never too late for happiness. According to Lowe, he is hopeful that the same team can pull off a follow-up film.

Tom Hardy is not about to leave his teammates hanging.

According to London’s The Sunday Times, the Peaky Blinders alum offered to help out the crew on his new show Fixer, when they were told there was no money to pay them.

Contractors spent the past summer building sets for Hardy’s new Paramount + show. 50 workers were employed for the project by a company called Helix 3D which, despite being paid by 101 studios and MTV Studios, was ultimately unable to pay their employees.

The lost wages amounted to £250,000, or $315,000 USD. A leaked WhatsApp message from December allegedly showed that Helix 3D did not have the money to pay its contractors.

“He offered to [pay],” a source close to Hardy told The Times. “But the production and Paramount have sorted the payment.”

A source at Paramount told the outlet that the studio was “outraged” when they learned about the situation and were working to pay the employees.

The Times also published excerpts from a letter written by union organizer Chris Hudson to the Helix 3D Chief Executive Brian Dowling before the payment situation was resolved.

“Our members deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and compensated on time for their work. It is wholly unacceptable that they are facing significant financial precarity, particularly ahead of Christmas,” wrote Hudson.

Hudson, who works for the Broadcasting, Entertainment, Communications and Theatre Union, said that the financial situation could affect the mental health of its members around the holidays.

“This close to Christmas, our members are rightly very distressed, with many fearing they will be unable to cover necessities,” he wrote. “I trust you can appreciate the significant impact this is also having on their mental health.”

Hudson has also criticized the lack of communication from Helix 3D.

“What does seem to have been avoidable was the lack of foresight that this situation could occur, given the serious financial trouble Helix was in,” he continued. “What was also avoidable is the lack of information and transparency granted to our members throughout their employment as to Helix’s current state of affairs.”

Fixer, which also stars Dame Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan alongside Hardy, will be helmed by Guy Ritchie. The director, producer and screenwriter has had hits such as The Gentlemen, Sherlock Holmes, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E

Jalen Hurts left the Philadelphia Eagles’ Sunday, December 22, football game against the Washington Commanders after suffering a concussion.

Hurts, 26, abruptly left the field in the middle of the first quarter after his head collided with the turf. The Eagles quarterback had been hit by Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner while diving head-first on a 13-yard scramble. Washington linebacker Frankie Luvu then hit Hurts in the head. (According to NBC Sports, no flags were called by referees.)

Hurts was promptly evaluated in the medical tent before he walked out of the stadium and into the locker room. According to a social media statement, Hurts was ruled as “out” for the remainder of the football game.

Kenny Pickett was then called in to replace Hurts, quickly completing a touchdown pass to teammate A.J. Brown.

Further updates on Hurts’ condition have not been shared. His teammate, running back Will Shipley, was also evaluated with a concussion during Sunday’s game and later ruled against returning to the field.

Hurts, for his part, had not missed a single NFL game all season, according to ESPN.

At last week’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Hurts was also fined over $5,000 for wearing two different colored cleats on the field. (Jordan Brand, who made the shoes, later offered to cover the cost.)

“I was supposed to wear the Columbia 11s that I gifted the kids that were at the ‘Wings Initiative’ after last week’s game and they never came in,” Hurts told reporters at the time. “I end up having all my shoes there. Guy wanted to take some pictures. Took about five minutes, some very casual. And ended up taking pictures with two different cleats. And I was like, ‘I’ll wear these on Sunday because my shoes didn’t come in.’ Hopefully, they come in soon.”

Hurts previously wore different colored shoes during an October game after one had popped off mid-game.

Hurts was drafted by the Eagles in 2020, three years before leading the team to the Super Bowl but lost to Kansas City Chiefs.

Justin Baldoni allegedly claimed to It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively that he could speak to the dead — including her late father.

Lively, 37, filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, 40, on Friday, December 20, which included allegations against him such as creating a “hostile work environment” and causing the actress “severe emotional distress” on the set of It Ends With Us.

Lively’s complaint alleged that Baldoni had “engaged in other behaviors that were shocking and emotionally distressing,” which included “[claiming] he could speak to the dead, and on several occasions told [Lively] that he had spoken to her dead father.” The complaint described it as “off putting and violative” for Baldoni to allegedly “claim a personal relationship with [Lively’s] recently deceased father.”

Lively’s father, actor Ernie Lively, passed away in June 2021 at the age of 74.

Bryan Freedman, Baldoni’s lawyer, addressed Blake’s “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious” allegations in a statement to Us Weekly, claiming the actress filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” regarding the production of the film.

He alleged Lively made “multiple demands and threats” during the film’s production, which included “threatening to not show up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release, if her demands were not met.”

In a statement to The New York Times on Saturday, Lively said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”

The actress denied spreading negative information about Baldoni.

Hailey Bieber is keeping son Jack Blues close to her heart, sartorially speaking.

Bieber, 28, debuted a massive two-stone ring via her Instagram Story on Saturday, December 21, where a square-shaped peridot diamond sat beside a teardrop bauble in topaz on a gold hand.

She explained that the peridot square represented “Jack,” while the topaz was for “Mama.”

Hailey gave birth to her and husband Justin Bieber’s firstborn son in August, which makes peridot the baby’s birthstone. Hailey, for her part, was born in November, which is marked by topaz and citrine stones.

Hailey, who turned 28 in November, has upgraded her jewelry collection since becoming a mom. She often wears necklaces that read “JBB” or “Mama” to denote Jack’s initials or her new role, respectively.
