Jennifer Aniston's Romance With 'Sexy' Jim Curtis Is 'Moving Pretty Fast'

Jennifer Aniston‘s romance with Jim Curtis is already getting hot and heavy.

“It’s new, but things are moving pretty fast,” a close friend of the actress exclusively tells Us Weekly. “They just get along so well.”

It helps that Curtis, 49, is into health and fitness like Aniston, 56, who told Today.com in April that she is “the strongest” and “the most in shape” that she has “ever been” in her life.

“She thinks he is sexy and takes care of his body. That’s important to her,” the friend shares. “She works out daily and takes such good care of her body. It’s great he does too.”

Inside Jennifer Aniston's 'Serious' Romance With New BF Jim Curtis

After Aniston and Curtis were photographed together for the first time over the 4th of July weekend, Us broke the news that they are officially dating.

“Jen is so happy right now, and Jim is part of the reason,” the pal says. “He’s like a breath of fresh air, and all her close friends are 1,000 percent loving them together.”

While Curtis is not an A-list celebrity like Aniston’s exes, who include Brad Pitt, John Mayer and Justin Theroux, the hypnotist is no stranger to Hollywood, having worked with Chrissy Teigen, Miranda Kerr and Julianne Hough, among other stars, in the past.

“Jim is so cool, laid-back and smart and doesn’t try to compete with Jen in any way,” the friend tells Us. “He comes from his own world and is successful, so he fits in Jen’s world well.”

Justin! Brad! A Timeline of Jennifer Aniston's Dating History

Jason Bateman, who has been close with Aniston for years and worked with her on films including 2010’s The Switch and 2011’s Horrible Bosses, is particularly fond of Curtis after joining the new couple on their PDA-filled holiday vacation to Mallorca, Spain.

“Jason Bateman and his wife [Amanda Anka] love him,” the pal reveals. “Jim and Jason are friends, and Jim thinks Jason is hilarious.”

Like Bateman, Aniston is “constantly making [Curtis] laugh,” according to the confidant, who says the Friends alum “can relax around Jim and be herself.”

“Jim is no drama and a grounded guy who has his life together. It is casual, but she really likes him and is very open to a serious thing,” the friend tells Us. “We think he may be the perfect guy for her. She deserves all the happiness and love from a good guy, and so far he is checking all the boxes.”

Everything Jennifer Aniston Has Said About Love, Relationships and Heartbreak

Us Weekly has reached out to Aniston’s rep, Bateman’s rep and Curtis for comment.

Multiple sources previously told Us that mutual friends introduced the Morning Show star and the life coach, who started out as friends themselves before their relationship turned romantic.

Curtis is the first person Aniston has publicly dated since her 2017 split from Theroux, 53, whom she married in 2015.

Company Tied to Coldplay Cheating Scandal Seemingly Deletes Hiring News

Astronomer appeared to delete an announcement celebrating Kristin Cabot’s employment after she was reportedly seen at a Coldplay concert with the firm’s CEO, Andy Byron.

A post titled “An Exciting Day Today” and highlighting Cabot’s 2024 hiring as Chief People Officer can no longer be viewed via LinkedIn. Instead, a browser page reads, “This post cannot be displayed.” It is not known when the story was taken down or the reason why it was in the first place.

The company’s CEO, Byron, was seemingly spotted at Coldplay’s Wednesday, July 16, concert in Foxboro, Massachusetts, alongside Cabot. In the middle of the show, band frontman Chris Martin introduced a Kiss Cam where a camera panned to Byron, 50, with his arms cuddling Cabot.

When Byron and Cabot realized they were on camera, Byron abruptly dropped to the ground while Cabot covered her face.

“Oh, either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy,” Martin, 48, quipped, per social media footage.

Neither Byron nor Cabot has publicly addressed their relationship status, though Newsweek reported that Byron is married to a woman named Megan Kerrigan Byron. (Us Weekly has reached out to Byron, Cabot and Astronomer for comment.)

Astronomer, which founded the data orchestration and observability platform Astro, hired Cabot in November 2024.

“I prefer to think of my role as people strategy versus traditional human resources, as the real magic happens when you align the people strategy with the business strategy,” she said in a press release. “There are plenty of companies out there where a leadership team doesn’t recognize the value that a strong people leader and people team can bring to a company. It’s not just about benefits or catered lunches. There’s so much more to it, and I was energized in my conversations with Andy and the Astronomer leadership team about the opportunities that exist here.”

Bryon, who was appointed as the CEO in 2023, addressed Cabot’s hiring in a separate statement.

“At Astronomer, our people are the most valuable asset in helping our customers do more to gain a competitive advantage with their data,” he wrote. “Kristin’s exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory. She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer.”

Cabot was previously the Chief People Officer at Neo4j for four years before joining Astronomer.

Caitlin Clark Drops Out of WNBA All-Star Game and 3-Point Contest After Groin Injury

Caitlin Clark will miss both the WNBA All-Star Game and 3-Point Contest after injuring her groin earlier this week.

Clark, 23, confirmed the news in a statement shared via the Indiana Fever’s Instagram account on Thursday, July 17. “I’m so excited for Indy to host WNBA All-Star this weekend,” the Fever guard began. “I want to thank the Indianapolis Host Committee and all of the people that have put endless work in over the past year to put this event together. I know this will be the best All-Star yet.”

She continued, “I am incredibly sad and disappointed to say I can’t participate in the 3-Point contest or the All-Star Game. I have to rest my body. I will still be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all the action and I’m looking forward to helping Sandy [Brondello] coach our team to a win.”

Earlier this month, Clark was named as one of two team captains in the All-Star Game, which will take place in Indianapolis on Saturday, July 19. She was set to lead the team coached by Brondello, who is the head coach of the New York Liberty. Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier will lead the other team with Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve.

South Carolina Coach Dawn Staley Sends a Message to Caitlin Clark Fans

After Clark’s announcement, the WNBA announced that Washington Mystics guard Brittney Sykes will replace Clark on the All-Star team. A replacement player for the 3-Point Contest has not been confirmed.

Clark has spent much of her second WNBA season dealing with injuries, missing her 10th game this year during the Fever’s Wednesday, July 16, loss to the Liberty. In May, she suffered a left quad injury that caused her to miss five games. That was followed one month later by a left groin injury that led to her missing four games.

Most recently, she suffered a right groin injury during the Fever’s Tuesday, July 15, game against the Connecticut Sun. She was eventually ruled out for the Fever’s Wednesday game after undergoing imaging to determine the extent of the injury.

Frequent injuries have been a hot topic in the WNBA as players are in the midst of negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement with the league. This year marked the expansion of the season from 40 games to 44 within the same time period, meaning that athletes are playing more games with fewer rest days.

“If [WNBA commissioner] Cathy [Engelbert] keeps adding more games in this short stint of time, the injuries are going to continue to go up,” Liberty guard Natasha Cloud told reporters in June. “When you talk about a big business and the overall protection of your investment, we are the investment as players. Your job is to protect us.”

Prior to Clark’s announcement, several other players had already been ruled out of the All-Star Game, including the Phoenix Mercury’s Satou Sabally and the Atlanta Dream’s Rhyne Howard. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese is also in danger of missing the game after a leg injury forced her to sit out her team’s Wednesday matchup against the Dream.

The WNBA All-Star game will air on ABC Saturday, July 19, at 8:30 p.m. ET.

CEO Allegedly Caught Cheating at Coldplay Show Once Praised Fling Partner

Astronomer CEO Andy Byron referred to coworker Kristin Cabot as “exceptional” months before they were allegedly caught cheating together at a Coldplay concert.

The pair’s alleged affair was seemingly outed when they were caught live on a Kiss Cam during Coldplay’s set at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, July 16. According to multiple media outlets, Andy is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, not Cabot.

When the Astronomer coworkers were shown on the big screen at Gillette Stadium, Andy dropped out of sight while Cabot tried to hide her face. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin picked up on the awkward moment by joking: “Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy!”

Us Weekly reached out to Astronomer and both executives for comment.

Last November, Byron personally announced that Cabot was joining Astronomer — the tech company behind data orchestration and observability platform Astro — as the company’s new Chief People Officer. Astronomer touted Cabot’s “20 years of experience in people and culture leadership” as key to her hiring and tasked her with fostering a “collaborative and inclusive environment” for employees.

“At Astronomer, our people are the most valuable asset in helping our customers do more to gain a competitive advantage with their data,” Byron said at the time.

In her own statement about joining Astronomer, Cabot mentioned that she was “energized” by her conversations with Byron during the hiring process.

“I prefer to think of my role as people strategy versus traditional human resources, as the real magic happens when you align the people strategy with the business strategy,” Cabot said.

Astronomer specifically highlighted Cabot’s selection as Chief People Officer as an important step in its effort to “attract, retain, and develop a world-class workforce” for customers to rely on.

Byron took over as Astronomer CEO in July 2023, according to his LinkedIn page, after a previous tenure as president of tech firm Lacework from 2019 to 2022. Cabot worked for graph database management company Neo4j prior to joining Byron at Astronomer last year. Astronomer credited Cabot with helping Neo4j grow from “225 to 900 employees” within four years and claimed that she contributed to the company’s “50 percent year-over-year growth.”

Meanwhile, it didn’t take long after the Kiss Cam video went viral for social media sleuths to find Andy’s wife Megan’s Facebook page. Social media users flooded Megan’s Facebook page with comments about the controversial video before she apparently deleted the account entirely.

RHOC’s Emily Simpson Slams Critics Who Think She Caused Son’s ARFID

Emily Simpson is setting the record straight on one cruel assumption surrounding her son’s eating disorder.

“I have to say, I’ve had some people say negative things about the eating disorder, and they’ll make a correlation between me having surgery or me losing weight,” Emily, 49, exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Wednesday, July 16, when promoting The Real Housewives of Orange County. “This has nothing to do with a child wanting to lose weight or having a body image. This is a neurodivergent disorder that has to do with his brain and how he operates.”

On the season 19 premiere of RHOC, Emily revealed that her 10-year-old son, Luke, was recently diagnosed with avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).

According to the Cleveland Clinic, ARFID is a condition that limits your food intake. Those facing the eating disorder can lose interest in eating, feel anxious about the consequences of eating and avoid foods that have an unwanted color, taste, texture or smell.

While Emily has allowed Bravo to document her own health and fitness journey over the years, she made it clear to Us that ARFID “has nothing to do with me and losing weight or gaining weight.”

Ever since sharing her son’s story on the July 10 episode of Bravo’s reality show, Emily said she has had countless moms reach out with support and resources.

While she is still searching for answers, Emily is comforted by the fact that she is not alone.

“We definitely know that he has ARFID. The ARFID has a lot of symptoms that overlap with autism,” she explained. “We did take him to a specialist to be tested. He did some very extensive testing that comes up later in the season. I’m still not really clear on a lot of things.”

Both Emily and her husband, Shane Simpson, have vowed to be the best parents for their son. (The couple also share daughter Annabelle, 12, and son Keller, 10.)

“A school counselor told me this,” Emily recalled. “She said, ‘Emily, you know, it’s not always good to just put a label on something.’ I want a label so that I can tell people, ‘He has this, this and this.’ At the end of the day, I don’t know if that’s the best thing. He is what he is, and he is very complicated.”

Former ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ Stars: Where Are They Now?

Since sharing her story, many of Emily’s costars have been able to put aside any TV drama to support their friend.

“I love you. I love your strength as a mom and a woman. I am so proud to be your friend ❤,” Gina Kirschenheiter wrote via Instagram. Heather Dubrow added, “You’re a great mom Emily! We love you ❤❤❤.”

Christina Applegate Will Touch on ‘Painful Moments’ of MS in Memoir

Christina Applegate is ready to open up about her career and battle with multiple sclerosis (MS) in her upcoming memoir.

Hachette Book Group announced on Thursday, July 17, that Applegate, 53, will be releasing her debut book titled You With the Sad Eyes next year.

“I truly believe that books can make people feel less alone. That’s why I’m doing this,” Applegate said of her inspiration to write the memoir. “You With the Sad Eyes won’t be some big violin scratching for my life. But it will be real. It will be filled with the ups and downs, the humor and grief of life. So here I am. Real me. Lots to say.”

According to the synopsis, Applegate will “unveil the full story of her years in the public eye, and the painful moments the public didn’t see.” The actress will reflect on the early days of her career, her battle with MS and returning to work amid her health struggles.

Christina Applegate Explains Why 'There Is No Doing MS Right'

You With the Sad Eyes will be published by Little, Brown and Company and is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2026.

Applegate announced that she was diagnosed with MS in 2021. MS causes breakdown of the protective covering of nerves, per the Mayo Clinic. The disease can cause numbness, weakness, trouble walking, vision changes and other symptoms. There is no cure.

“It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition,” she wrote via X at the time. “It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a**hole blocks it. As one of my friends that has MS said, ‘We wake up and take the indicated action’. And that’s what I do. So now I ask for privacy. As I go through this thing. Thank you xo.”

Since going public with her condition, Applegate has been candid about her struggles and how it’s affected her everyday life.

“I didn’t know what was happening to me. That January, my toes got numb, and I ignored it. The balls of my foot got numb, and I ignored it. All of a sudden, I’d be, like, falling over,” she said in a September 2022 interview with Variety. “People were like, ‘Oh, it’s just neuropathy.’ At this point, they had to take me with a wheelchair to set because I couldn’t walk if the set was far. I was sleeping all the time, and I gained 40 pounds — a lot of things happened.”

Christina Applegate Lays in Bed 'Screaming’ Daily Over ‘Sharp’ MS ‘Pains’

As Applegate has struggled with MS, she believed that her starring role in Dead to Me would be her last.

“I’m probably not going to work on-camera again,” Applegate said in a May 2023 interview with Vanity Fair before expressing her joy to work alongside Linda Cardellini. “I’m so glad that I went out with someone who is by far the greatest actress I’ve ever worked with in my entire life, if not the greatest human I’ve ever known.”

The following year, Applegate made a triumphant return to the Emmys, where she received a standing ovation before presenting the award for Best Supporting Actress.

Hugh Hefner’s Widow Crystal Drops Playboy Founder’s Last Name Ahead of Wedding

Hugh Hefner’s widow, Crystal Hefner, filed court documents to drop the Playboy founder’s famous last name ahead of her upcoming wedding, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Thursday, July 17, Crystal, 39, filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to legally change her name from Crystal Margaret Hefner to Crystal Margaret Harris.

“I am a widow and reclaiming my maiden name,” she wrote in her filing.

Crystal married Hugh in 2012 and was by his side when he died in 2017 at the age of 91.

Last month, Crystal spoke out on social media about her desire to go back to her maiden name.

She said she had struggled to get her Instagram handle changed back to Harris instead of Hefner.

‘Healed’ Crystal Hefner Is Happier Than Ever With New Boyfriend James Ward

“To everyone I’ve had to block: I’m exhausted. If you’ve harassed me, you’re gone. I don’t owe anyone access to my peace,” Crystal wrote. “But to those who are here with open hearts, who genuinely support my journey — thank you.”

Crystal said she had embraced the Hefner name for a period of time. She explained, “The media and the trolls of the world told me I wasn’t enough without the name, without the house, without the image. I came from nothing. I had spent a lifetime feeling small. So I clung to the story I was fed. And it worked — for a while.”

Hugh Hefner’s Dating Life Through the Years

The model admitted she accomplished a lot with the Hefner name. She said she made “eight figures” and “launched businesses.” She added, “But here’s the thing — none of that was ever about the name. It was about me. And now, I want my name back. Crystal Margaret Harris. Not because I’m ashamed of who I was — but because I finally know who I am.”

In her recent memoir, Crystal admitted, “I was never in love with Hef, but I loved this old man in the ways you are supposed to love your elders.”

As Us first reported, Crystal got engaged in May to marine biologist James Ward. The two have been together since 2024, and both live in Hawaii.

“It truly feels like a full-circle moment. James completely surprised me. He had a hidden staircase and a winding trail cleared to reveal a handcrafted deck perched above a dramatic cliffside overlooking the ocean,” Crystal told Us at the time.

Shortest Celebrity Marriages: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, More!

She said, “It was the exact spot where we’d had a quiet picnic together a year ago — a place that became ‘ours.’ I had no idea he was secretly turning it into something permanent and symbolic. I thought we were just going for a walk, but when I saw the flowers, the handwritten notes, and the sea stretching endlessly in front of us, I knew something extraordinary was about to happen.”

ESPN’s Chiney Ogwumike Pushes Back Against Angel Reese Criticism

ESPN basketball personality Chiney Ogwumike wants people to give Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese a break as she navigates her second WNBA season.

“Let her cook. In the words of GloRilla, let her cook,” Ogwumike, 33, told Us Weekly exclusively at the 2025 ESPYs on Wednesday, July 16. “I feel like the microscope that these women are under is something that’s so unparalleled. And we’re a league where we are sisters and we stand together.”

Reese, 23, is getting ready to participate in her second All-Star game in as many seasons in the WNBA, but she’s become a lightning rod for online vitriol — some of it due to her unapologetic nature and some of it just a product of racism.

“I believe for all of our players, we have to show them support as they grow and try to find themselves,” continued Ogwumike, a two-time All-Star herself. “The weight [of] the crown that she wears is very heavy, but she wears it with grace and her game is just blossoming.”

Angel Reese Addresses Caitlin Clark Drama After Chennedy Carter Foul

After struggling to start the season, Reese has emerged as one of the most dominant post players in the league. On July 12, she became the fastest player in WNBA history to record 40 career double-doubles, doing so in only 54 games.

“If you’ve seen this year — I did the numbers — in May, she was averaging 10 points. In June, 14. This month, 18 points per game,” Ogwumike said. “She’s showing her guard skills, she’s leading her franchise.”

Off the court, Reese has found just as much success. She was recently named the cover athlete for the WNBA edition of NBA 2K26, has the most social media followers of any WNBA player, has a signature shoe with Reebok and started her own foundation to support young girls in underrepresented communities.

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese’s College Basketball Dynamic Explained

“She’s a superstar in my eyes for what she does both on and off the court,” Ogwumike concluded. “And I want her to feel confident and know that people have her back and how she grows and that she’s doing everything that she needs to be. And then some.”

Ogwumike isn’t the only star athlete to jump to Reese’s defense. Sheryl Swoopes, Shaquille O’Neal and Gilbert Arenas have all spoken out after former Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III attempted to denounce a racist image of Reese shared on social media by resharing the image and accusing her of hating Caitlin Clark — something Reese has continually denied.

Reese and Clark, also 23, were set to meet in the All-Star Game, taking place Saturday, July 19, at Clark’s home arena in Indianapolis, but a groin injury will keep Clark on the sidelines. Reese, for her part, missed Chicago’s last game before the break with a leg injury and her status for the weekend is still unclear.
