Zac Affleck is paying tribute to wife Jen Affleck after her “intense” experience giving birth without the use of pain medication.

Zac, 28, took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 2, and reflected on the birth of their third child, Penelope. 

“Before I flood your feed with endless photos of our perfect baby girl, I have to do a dedicated post to Jen,” Zac captioned his post. “Our doula told her, ‘You have to go to the stars to bring this baby back.’ I don’t think either of us anticipated how intense natural birth would actually be.”

He continued, “It was a spiritual experience mixed with every emotion possible — one of the most bonding experiences we have ever had. It gave me a completely new level of appreciation and love for my wife I didn’t know was possible.”

Zac said he’s “genuinely speechless at how amazing women are, what their bodies go through, and what they are capable of. I love you, Jen, and am so grateful for you bringing our beautiful children into this world.”

Besides writing that heartfelt caption, he also revealed some behind-the-scenes photos of the labor process in which he comforted Jen, 26, while she experienced painful contractions.

“Over here crying. ,” a fan wrote in the comment section of Zac’s post. “these are the SWEETEST photos. A supportive and loving birthing partner means more than men truly know. Congrats! These are beautiful .”

Zac and Jen both appear on the Hulu reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. They tied the knot in June 2019 and previously welcomed daughter Nora in November 2021 and son Lucas in July 2023.

Jen announced Penelope’s arrival via Instagram on Wednesday, writing, “Going unmedicated was truly the most painful but empowering experience of my life. I could not have done it without Zac and my supportive doula! I’m so grateful and so happy that Penny is earth side now.”

Zac and Jen’s marital woes were a major story line on the first season of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which premiered last fall. Zac received backlash for the way he treated his wife.

“I definitely think it was the best thing to happen to our relationship.” she exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2024. “While watching the show, a lot of people are going to think maybe this would break our relationship apart. But if anything, it did the opposite. Being on camera and having those moments happen made us take a step back and actually look at a relationship and make us just see what we have to change.”

Alix Earle says she “immediately regretted” her decision to get veneers. 

The influencer, 24, got real about her faux teeth in a Wednesday, July 2, TikTok video that explained why she did not acknowledge the cosmetic treatment after graduating college.

“I never wanted to post about it, “ she revealed, “because I immediately felt like I regretted it. And I never want to, like, influence people to do something that I don’t think they should do.”

She added that she never had braces growing up and in her senior year of high school, wore Invisalign devices to straighten her teeth. However, she recalled the treatment causing two of her front teeth to appear “shorter” than the rest. “So I did composite bonding,” she said, which added length to the teeth, but also made them fragile.

“So, like I’m an anxious person, and sometimes if I have a bad dream, I’ll bite my teeth in my sleep — and they would, like, crack off,” she explained. “It happened a lot, honestly.”

In Earle’s senior year of college, she grew a large TikTok following and decided that it would be a good time to get veneers. She had wanted only two — to fix those problem teeth — but a dentist persuaded her to get 10 new teeth.

“I don’t know, honestly, kind of emotional for me,” she admitted while holding back tears, recalling that she followed the dentist’s advice and “really regretted it. Like, right away. And I think it was really scary for me, and I was like, ‘What did I just do? And I had such good teeth and, I’m like, oh my God, I have to keep up with this for the rest of my life.’”

Earle said her veneers look “really similar to my normal teeth, so I’m like, ‘Why did I even do that in the first place?’”

She confessed, “I will say I don’t regret a lot, but it is something I really regret doing. At the end of the day, whatever. It was my decision, but I feel like it was kind of one of those decisions that was made pretty fast. And I just didn’t think it all the way through or, I think, talk to enough people.”

Earle also revealed that she recently cracked a tooth while talking to Kate Hudson at a social event on the Ritz-Carlton cruise line. She was sipping a margarita out of a straw when the accident happened.

Earle recalled that Hudson was “so, so sweet” about the mishap, adding, “Thank God for her, because otherwise I would’ve been alone, crying about my tooth.”

Jurassic World Rebirth could be setting up an entirely new chapter for the iconic franchise.

The film, which hit theaters on Wednesday, July 2, takes place five years after the events of 2022’s Jurassic World Dominion. Scarlett Johansson stars as Zora Bennett, a cover operations specialist who is contracted to lead a secret mission to obtain life-saving genetic material from the three biggest living creatures on earth (that are, you guessed it, dinosaurs). The mission ends up even more complicated than expected when she and her team encounter the Delgado’s, a civilian family who have been stranded on the island of dinosaur rejects.

The other main players in Zora’s squad? Mahershala Ali’s’ Duncan Kincaid, Zora’s old friend looking for a new sense of purpose, and Jonathan Bailey’s Dr. Henry Loomis, a paleontologist and former student of the legendary Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill). Rupert Friend also makes the journey as Martin Krebs, a rep for pharmaceutical giant ParkerGenix looking to cure heart disease with the help of dino-DNA.

Screenwriter David Koepp, who penned the original Jurassic Park screenplay — as well as 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park — returned to write the script for Rebirth after previously declining to write the first Jurassic World film.

Does ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Set Up for a Sequel?

Rebirth does not directly set up for a sequel and could potentially stand on its own, but there are a few hints that another movie is on its way. All three leads — Johansson, Bailey and Ali — survive the film. Johansson’s Zora also reveals her plans to open-source the DNA samples her team has acquired from three dinos (one by land, one by sea, one by sky) to “everyone.” Anyone who has ever seen a Jurassic movie can immediately understand how this (terrible) decision could set up the next film’s main disaster.

Who Dies at the End of ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’?

Not anyone important, really, which is good news. Zora, Henry and Duncan all make it out alive (somehow), as does the second major group of the film, the Delgado family (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, Audrina Miranda and David Iacono.)

However, while Zora makes it to the end, some of her supporting team is not so lucky. Bobby (Ed Skrein) faces death by boat trip, Nina (Philippine Velge) loses her fight to a Spinosaurus on the beach and Leclerc (Bechir Sylvain) gets swallowed whole.
