Caroline Wozniacki and her husband, David Lee, are growing their family.

“Officially switching to zone defense!” the couple wrote in a joint post via Instagram on Sunday, April 6. “Our family couldn’t be more excited to welcome baby #3 soon! .”

Alongside the pregnancy announcement, Wozniacki, 34, and Lee, 41, shared an image of their family of four posing at the beach. Daughter Olivia, 3, held up black-and-white ultrasound images as she stood with brother James, 2, in front of the pair.

Wozniacki and Lee tied the knot in 2019, the same year she announced her retirement from tennis.

“I’ve played professionally since I was 15 years old,” she began in a December 2019 Instagram statement. “In that time I’ve experienced an amazing first chapter of my life. With 30 WTA singles titles, a world #1 ranking for 71 weeks, a WTA Finals victor, 3 Olympics, including carrying the flag for my native Denmark, and winning the 2018 Australian Open Grand slam championship, I’ve accomplished everything I could ever dream of on the court.”

Wozniacki said that she realized “there is a lot more in life” that she wants “to accomplish off the court.” While opening up about her decision, Wozniacki said that she hoped to start a family with her husband.

“Getting married to David was one of those goals and starting a family with him while continuing to travel the world and helping raise awareness about rheumatoid arthritis (project upcoming) are all passions of mine moving forward,” she wrote. “So with that, today I am announcing that I will be retiring from professional tennis after the Australian Open in January. This has nothing to do with my health and this isn’t a goodbye, I look forward to sharing my exciting journey ahead with all of you!”

I want to show my kids that you can pursue your dreams no matter your age or role. We decided as a family it’s time. I’m coming back to play and I can’t wait!”

David Lee retired from the NBA in 2017 and has since embraced his new role: father of two and husband of tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki.

The two were first linked in 2016 and officially revealed their relationship the next year. Since then, Lee has attended Grand Slams to support Wozniacki, they’ve purchased and sold a multimillion-dollar home and welcomed daughter Olivia (born in 2021) and son James (born in 2022). Lee and Wozniacki met at a restaurant in Miami, though their romance didn’t become public right away. As Lee told it during his wedding speech, according to Vogue, “They say every relationship begins with a miracle … the fact that [you were out at] dinner past 7:30 p.m. — because normally you would be asleep 8 p.m. — was a miracle.” The two got to talking and continued to hang out that night at Wozniacki’s Fisher Island home before he crashed in the guest room.

A “Weekend Update” segment went a bit awry when Saturday Night Live cast member Ego Nwodim’s call-and-response bit with the audience caused the whole crowd to swear on live television.

Nwodim, 37, appeared during the “Weekend Update” segment with Colin Jost and Michael Che on Saturday, April 5, to pitch herself as the new comedian for the White House Correspondents Association dinner, a reference to recent news that comedian Amber Ruffin had been uninvited as a performer for the dinner, which will be held on Saturday, April 26.

As part of Nwodim’s proposed material, she engaged in a call-and-response bit with the SNL audience. “Cory Booker out here with his filibuster — shoot, I’ve had my fill of busters. ’Cause these men ain’t what?” Nwodim said as she held her mic out to the crowd, who answered in enthusiastic unison, “S—!”

Nwodim, Jost and Che all looked surprised at the crowd’s outburst, with Nwodim joking they were going to be “fined” for the slip up. “Y’all gonna have to pay for that,” Nwodim told the audience as the “Update” hosts collapsed into laughter behind her. “[SNL creator Lorne Michaels] gonna be mad at y’all.”

According to Deadline, the swear word made it past censors in East Coast broadcasts and on Peacock, but was bleeped out in Pacific and Mountain time zones. In a rebroadcast of the segment on television, as well as a version uploaded via YouTube, the audience’s response was muted entirely.

According to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines, there are seven words you can’t say on public television, and they are: s—, piss, f—, c—, c—sucker, motherf—–, t—. This also includes variations of the seven phrases.

“Because obscenity is not protected by the First Amendment, it is prohibited on cable, satellite and broadcast TV and radio,” the FCC’s guidelines read. “However, the same rules for indecency and profanity do not apply to cable, satellite TV and satellite radio because they are subscription services.”

According to the FCC, “Broadcasting obscene content is prohibited by law at all times of the day. Indecent and profane content are prohibited on broadcast TV and radio between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., when there is a reasonable risk that children may be in the audience.”

In terms of enforcing these rules, the FCC writes, “If an investigation is warranted and the FCC finds a station in violation of its rules, it has the authority to revoke a station license, impose a fine or issue an admonishment or warning.”

Halle Berry has nothing but gratitude for Crime 101 costar Chris Hemsworth after he stood up for her on set.

“[He’s] a stand-up guy. I won’t go into it now, but he stood up for me in a moment in our movie, and instantly I knew right then I’m gonna follow this guy, be a fan of this guy for the rest of my life because he stood up for a woman,” Berry, 58, told E! News on the red carpet of CinemaCon while promoting the movie. “He didn’t have to do it and he did it.”

The praise is mutual for Hemsworth, 41, who gushed that he has “admired” Berry’s work for “many, many years.”

“I was obviously very intimidated to sit opposite her within a scene and try and, you know, not just be in awe of what she was doing,” he said to the outlet. “Certain people bring out not just the best in you, but also a sort of comfort level, you know, where it does feel like it’s a place to explore and it’s a place to examine different ideas and try different things. That was the experience. I loved every second of it.”

“In the driver’s seat of this exciting ride is none other than our fearless director, Bart Layton,” Berry told the crowd, per The Hollywood Reporter.
