It’s been one week since Prince Harry wrapped the 2025 Invictus Games — and Us Weekly spoke to a photographer who was there to capture the best moments.

Karwai Tang is a freelance entertainment and royal photographer based in London, U.K. He captured some of Harry and Meghan Markle’s sweetest PDA moments during the Invictus Games’ opening ceremony in Vancouver, Canada, on February 8.

“I always enjoy photographing them,” Tang said in an interview with Us Weekly from London after the 2025 games. “They photograph really well, genuine… They’re very demonstrative.”

Tang snapped the Duke and Duchess of Sussex kissing and snuggling close together as they watched performances from Chris Martin, Katy Perry, Noah Kahan, Nelly Furtado and Roxane Bruneau.

“I photographed them from the start, so it’s actually nice just to photograph them along their journey,” Tang said.

Tang has been photographing Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, since before their wedding at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, England, on May 19, 2018.

He told Us that the couple “haven’t changed” since their public nuptials.

“They haven’t changed. They are what they are, you know,” Tang said. “She’s very handsy, very touchy, you know, touchy feely with Harry, which is good that she hasn’t changed. She wasn’t the person that wanted to change anyway when she married into the royal family,” he added.

Meghan and Harry were often pictured holding hands and being affectionate at public engagements before stepping back from royal duties in 2020.

Tang said it’s possible that the couple’s affectionate conduct may have influenced other members of the royal family to follow suit.

“I think with Harry and Meghan being in the royal family for those few years, it’s sort of relaxed a lot of the other members, because every now and again you see Kate and William, not hold hands, but like a hand on the back or on the knee,” Tang said.

Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton have certainly shown more PDA in recent years.

Most recently, the palace shared a photo of William kissing Kate Middleton’s cheek in a candid photo to celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14.

The couple has also become more open in their social media exchanges. For Kate’s 43rd birthday on January 9, William shared a loving tribute on social media, writing, “To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable.”

As for Harry, the 2025 Invictus Games officially came to an end with the closing ceremony on February 16. The prince created the event for injured or wounded service personnel in 2014 after spending a decade in the British army.

Dominic Reid, CEO of the Invictus Games, previously told Us that the prince’s commitment to the games is “unparalleled.”

“He once described [The Invictus Games] to being his second child,” he said. “This was before [his daughter] Lilibet was born, and then he quickly corrected himself, ‘my first child.’ It’s a very important thing to him.”

Peter Facinelli isn’t waiting to walk down the wedding aisle and say “I do” before calling his fiancee Lily Anne Harrison “my wife.”

“I mean, right now, it feels like the wedding is more of a party than making anything official,” Facinelli exclusively told Us Weekly while attending the New York Premiere of The Unbreakable Boy on Wednesday, February 19 at AMC Lincoln Square.

“I call her my wife. I treat her like my wife,” he continued. “So we’ll get to the paper and the party eventually.

Facinelli further explained that the pair — who got engaged five years ago in December 2019 — are “busy with the baby right now.” (Facinelli and Harrison welcomed son Jack in September 2022.)

“It’s like, at some point we’ll get to it,” he continued of their future nuptials. “But every day is a celebration of love with her … right now, we’re just enjoying parenthood, being partners and when we get a minute we’ll throw a party and make it official.”

Us confirmed in January 2020 that the Twilight star and Harrison were engaged a month after Facinelli got down on one knee. Facinelli was previously married to Jennie Garth from 2001 to 2013. The pair welcomed three daughters — Luca, Lola and Fiona – before calling it quits.

Facinelli was also romantically linked to Jaimie Alexander — the pair were engaged for a year before calling it off in 2016.

“Due to conflicting family and work commitments on opposite coasts, and after much consideration, Peter and Jaimie have chosen to part ways amicably and remain friends,” a representative for the former fiancés told Us at the time.

When asked how fatherhood has changed for him now that he has a young child at home, the proud dad simply said that “every kid is different.”

“So it’s not, like, ‘Oh, I know exactly what I’m doing now,” he told Us on Wednesday. “But I’ve found that this time around, I’m really trying to hold onto every moment because I know how fast it goes. I mean, my oldest is 27. I have a 21-year-old … I have an 18-year-old who is back in LA. They grew up in the blink of an eye, and so every moment that I have with him — even the hard ones – I appreciate that much more.”

Facinelli went on to explain that his 2-year-old “gets frustrated easily,” which is something the actor sees in himself, too.

“How can I deal with my frustrations when walls get up or things don’t come my way?” he continued of what he is forced to ask himself when he sees parts of his personality mirrored in his son. “You’re always striving for things and it’s not always easy. Also, I get cranky when I’m hungry. He gets cranky when he’s hungry. So it reminds me to make sure I eat more consistently during the day, which helps when I’m feeding him, too.”

Now that Facinelli has a son after having three daughters, he adds that he’s “looking forward to that experience.”

“I see a lot of Marvel movies in my future,” he added.
