Denise Richardslikes to keep her beauty regimen au natural — unless Jennifer Aniston swears by an unorthodox hack, that is.
“For the exterior, I see a dermatologist doctor. He’s awesome, he’s very subtle, Dr. [Robert] Dorfman. I did do that salmon sperm facial. It was good,” Richards, 54, told People in an interview published on Sunday, February 23. “I had to after I heard Jennifer Aniston did. Who’s not going to do that?”
She added, “I was like, ‘If she did it, I’ll do it.’ But by the way, I am not one that does a bunch of stuff. I want to look like myself, so I don’t do a bunch of fillers. I do a little Botox. I want to move my face because my eyebrows are very expressive, so I want to keep all that. But I try to do subtle.”
After Richards heard that Aniston, 56, tried the unconventional facial, she was willing to step outside her comfort zone. (Salmon sperm facials are said to rejuvenate and hydrate the skin while creating a glowy complexion. Results can reportedly last up to six months.)
“If I could do a little laser or that salmon sperm thing or whatever, I’ll try it,” Richards told the outlet. “I know it sounds weird.”
Aniston previously revealed in a 2023 WSJ. Magazine cover story that she had the unconventional facial after learning about it from a local aesthetician.
According to the Friends alum, she’s willing to “try almost anything” in order to maintain a youthful look, whether it’s a salmon sperm facial or weekly anti-aging peptide injections.
“I do think that’s the future,” Aniston said, specifically referring to the injections.
Richards and Aniston aren’t alone in trying the salmon-featured treatment.
“I got a salmon sperm facial,” Kim Kardashian said in a 2024 episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians. “With salmon sperm injected into my face.”
90 Day Fiancé alum Stacey Silva, for her part, told Us Weekly in December 2024 that the facial gave her a special glow.
“Do you see the glow? Well, there’s this new procedure called salmon sperm and I injected it in my face,” Silva, 50, exclusively told Us. “I have salmon sperm in my face. Well, salmon, DNA. … I guess it just gives you a glow. It’s really popular in Korea, so it’s like this new hot thing everybody’s doing and I love it.”
Silva further noted that she didn’t feel any pain during the procedure because doctors “numb you up.”
“It was just a bunch of little injections in the face,” Silva added at the time. “Didn’t really hurt. It gives you an instant glow. You wake up glowing.”
Blunt and Krasinski began dating in 2008 after meeting through a mutual pal. During a 2011 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Office alum revealed that it was love at first sight for him.
“It was one of those things where I wasn’t really looking for a relationship and I was thinking I’m going to take my time in L.A.,” he explained at the time. “Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, ‘Oh God, I think I’m going to fall in love with her.’ As I shook her hand I went, ‘I like you.’ It’s one of those things where as soon as you meet someone you kind of know.
The Devil Wears Prada actress has also gushed about how her now-husband has impacted her. “Meeting John really changed my life,” she told InStyle in 2013. “When I feel the support that I have from him, I feel invincible. There’s someone behind you on your good days and someone in front of you on your bad days.”
The pair met via a mutual friend at a restaurant in 2008. “It’s kind of a sad, lame story,” Blunt recalled on Late Night With Seth Meyers in 2018. “I was in a restaurant, he was in the restaurant. I was sitting with a mutual friend … and my friend Gray goes, 'Oh my god, that's my friend John,' and that was it. He was sitting with our friend Justin Theroux, and he abandoned Justin and came over to us. He just stood there and made me laugh. I kind of [knew right away.]"
After less than a year of dating, Krasinski proposed to the London native in Los Angeles. Though the Jack Ryan actor described the proposal as “casual,” it led to many tears from both the happy couple and their friends and family. "I was nervous and the whole nine yards,” Krasinski told Access Hollywood at the 2009 Emmy Awards.
“She did cry after. I cried and we cried and then everyone around us was crying. Then, I think people weren't really sure what was going on, but they were crying because we were crying. But it was great. At the end of the day she said yes which is great. It's a big part of this whole thing."
Blunt accompanied The Office star to the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in L.A. "Being able to laugh with another person is such an amazing gift," Krasinski once told USA Today of his approach to love. "I think it can make things extremely fun, but it's the only way to get through the bad times."
The actors lovingly posed for photos at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in L.A. "I had always heard, 'Never date an actress -- it's too competitive, too dramatic. But we're so lucky to have each other," Krasinski once told Parade. "For many reasons, Emily is perfect for me."
Before posing together at the Golden Globes in early 2013, the couple looked deeply in love with one another, gazing into each other's eyes and grinning.

Krasinski announced that Blunt gave birth to their second child, a daughter named Violet. “What better way to celebrate the 4th… than to announce our 4th family member!!!!” he tweeted.
The actor, who worked out twice a day for five weeks for his role in 13 Hours, candidly opened up about his sex life. “Totally selfishly, [sex] is so much better for me being jacked because you feel so much more confident and you see yourself as this much more sexual person, which is really fun,” he told Elle at the time. “The truth is, [Emily] really is that person who would like my any way. But I don’t think she’s going to kick the eight-pack abs out of bed.”
The couple costarred as a married couple in the horror film A Quiet Place, which Krasinski directed. Us Weekly’s review of the blockbuster called it “terrifying” and “unpredictable,” noting that “there’s no escape until the credits roll.”
Krasinski held his wife and trophy close in the 24th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards’ pressroom. Earlier that night, he walked away with the award for Best Sci-Fi or Horror Movie for A Quiet Place and he paid tribute to Blunt in his acceptance speech. “I got to make a movie about a love story, and a love letter to my kids, and I got to do it with the love of my life by my side,” he said. “So, I’m pretty sure it doesn't get much better than that!”
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar U.K., Blunt opened up about how the couple wound up living together. “I’d just bought a place in London and was going to live there with my sister. I didn’t ever see it as a move to the U.S., but gradually more and more of my stuff just accumulated at his house, and then suddenly I was living in L.A.,” she explained. “I think it’s the best way to do it – just to sneak-attack them, rather than turn up with trunks.”
Krasinski joked about how the couple’s marriage was tested while shooting a particular scene for A Quiet Place Part II. “There’s a scene where I put her in a car and — if you saw it in the trailer—she’s driving up the street,” he explained on Live With Kelly & Ryan. “All that is completely, totally real.”
The IF director continued, “I realized as I was explaining to her all the things that are going to happen, like, ‘You’re gonna hit this pedestrian and then these cars are gonna cut you off. And then a bus is gonna come at you at 40 mph.’ That’s all happening to her. And I realized, ‘Oh, my God. I just put my marriage on the line. I might end my marriage in this shot.’”
Blunt supported Krasinski by appearing on an episode of his Some Good News YouTube series, where they surprised a young Hamilton fan with a virtual performance from the original cast.
During an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Krasinski revealed that Blunt had to cut him off after he became “addicted” to popcorn during the COVID-19 quarantine.“My kids had microwave movie popcorn for something, and they loved it, and then just slowly the time started getting earlier and earlier. And at, like, 9 a.m. at breakfast, I was like, ‘Does anybody want popcorn?'” he said in May 2021. “And Emily was like, ‘You gotta cool it on the popcorn! You got to stop microwaving popcorn at 9 a.m.'”
Shortly after celebrating their 11th anniversary, Blunt shared her secret to long-lasting wedded bliss.
"Just love," the Jane Austen Book Club actress told E! News on July 16, 2021. "You've got to keep loving and loving, and just listening."
During an episode of iHeartMedia’s "River Cafe Table 4" podcast, Blunt revealed that she made Ina Garten’s famous “engagement chicken” recipe for her beau before they got engaged.
"I guess I just made something that I knew he would love … a roast chicken, who doesn't love roast chicken?" the Jungle Cruise actress explained. The recipe apparently has a great success rate of bringing couples down the aisle, as Garten noted in November 2017 how its “magical powers” also fared well for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
"I wouldn't be anywhere in my life without her," the Office alum told Parade. "On a daily basis, but certainly career-wise, as a dad, she pushes me to be better every single day at everything I do. I look forward to the next day cause I know it'll be better than the one before."
The Quiet Place costars walked the red carpet together at the 2023 SAG Awards. Krasinski donned a pinstripe suit while the Into the Woods actress stunned in a formfitting dress with floral embroidery.
The couple were dressed to impress while supproting pal George Clooney at the Clooney Foundation for Justice's annual awards show at the New York Public Library in New York City.

Jessica Alba is honoring late hairstylist Jesus Guerrero.
Alba reposted an Instagram Story on Sunday, February 23, of her, Guerrero and Daniel Martin posing for a selfie. “We love you @jesushair,” Martin wrote alongside a white heart and dove emojis.
News broke on Saturday, February 22, that Guerrero died at the age of 34 when sister Gris set up and shared a GoFundMe page. His cause of death was not shared via the page. With a goal of $80,000, the GoFundMe page reached over $77,000 at the time of publication.
“My name is Gris, Jesus’s younger sister,” she wrote in the description. “It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.”

“Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top. During his career, Guerrero’s Hollywood clients included Kylie Jenner, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and more. Following news of his death, fellow celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin took to her Instagram Story to mourn the loss of Guerrero and shared a link to the GoFundMe page.
“Our hearts will never be the same. Such a loving light and talent we lost too soon,” Atkin wrote on Saturday. “Jesus gave his all to everything he did and he left such an impact on all that knew him. He showed up 10 years ago from Texas with all of this insane talent and warmth and an unforgettable SMILE. He was the first to come and bear hug you, play with your hair, and ask how you’re doing.”
She continued, “Once you met him all you could do was root for him and hope for the best for him. Truly. The whole Glam Fam all loved him. As I try to make sense of this all I can think to do is help his mothers grieving heart in this moment. I love you Jesus and I hope you’re witnessing all of the tears we’re all crying.”

Chris Appleton shared a similar sentiment via his Instagram Story on Sunday while paying tribute to Guerrero. “Heartbroken to hear about the passing of @jesushair. His talent was undeniable, and his creativity was always ahead of its time,” Appleton wrote. “He had a way of making hair an art form, and his passion inspired so many. The industry has lost a true visionary, but his legacy will live on through his work and the people he touched. Rest in peace, Jesus.”
