Paige DeSorbo Shuts Down Austen Kroll's Claims She's Dating New Man
Austen Kroll might think he has details on Paige DeSorbo’s dating life, but according to her, that’s not the case.
Austen, 37, appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, January 30, and addressed rumors that Paige, 32, already moved on with a new guy following her split from Craig Conover.
“I don’t think that those are rumors. I think that they’ve been substantiated, and I think that Craig knows as such,” Austen claimed. “He didn’t know for a minute, but yeah, I think that he’s fully come to terms with that. That’s not a rumor.”
When the clip was shared via the WWHL Instagram page, Paige was quick to clap back.
Paige DeSorbo Reacts to Joke About Ex Craig Conover Unfollowing Her on Insta
“Ahhh yes a man I haven’t spoken To in 6 months knows exactly what I’m doing,” she wrote in the comments section.
Paige made headlines on January 12 when she was photographed sitting next to a mystery man at the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers game. Fans have continued to speculate about the man’s identity and his relationship to Paige following her recent split.
Paige announced on the December 30 episode of the “Giggly Squad” podcast, which she cohosts with Hannah Berner, that she and Craig, 35, ended their three-year relationship.
“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” she said at the time, noting that there was no drama behind their decision to split.
“I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing,” she said at the time. “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
Craig Conover Breaks Silence on Split From Paige DeSorbo
A source told Us Weekly at the time that Craig was “ready for the next steps and had plans to propose” before he and Paige called it quits. The pair were in a long distance relationship with Paige living in New York and Craig living in Charleston.
“He was really pushing for the next steps and wanted to settle down with her,” the insider added. “Paige does not want to move to Charleston, and logistically it was never going to work out long term. Many of their friends are not shocked at all, but everyone is sad for them.”
As fans question Paige’s dating status, a source told Us earlier this month that Craig has been using the Raya app. Us later confirmed that Craig unfollowed his ex on Instagram.
'Sister Wives' Preview: Janelle Chooses a 'Slippery Nipple' as 1st Shot Ever
Janelle Brown has seemingly turned over a new leaf since her separation from Kody Brown — which means taking shots with BFF Christine Brown is no longer off the table.
In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek at the Sunday, February 2, episode of Sister Wives, Christine, 52, and her husband, David Woolley, take Janelle, 55, to a bar to celebrate their new lives.
Christine tells the bartender they are toasting to “a purchase of property and a purchase of a new home.” (David and Christine recently bought a rental property in Moab, Utah, where they got married in October 2023. Janelle and her daughter Maddie, meanwhile, purchased land in North Carolina to build a flower farm and homes.)
Janelle, however, is totally unsure of how to order, since she confesses, she’s never actually had an alcoholic shot.
When Christine tells David to “make it fun” he decides that the trio should have a “slippery nipple” shot made up of butterscotch and Bailey’s.
“These drinks always have these really crazy names. I’m always like, ‘Who makes up these names?'” Janelle teases during her confessional.
While Christine admits she’s “never had a slippery nipple” she thinks it’s a “great title for a first drink.”
Still Sisters! Christine and Janelle Brown's Best Friendship Moments
After Janelle confirms she’s “never” taken a shot, Christine confesses, “I’ve done shots with your kids.” (Christine and Janelle each welcomed six children during their respective marriages to Kody, 55. Christine left Kody in November 2021, while Janelle confirmed her own split in December 2022.)
David, meanwhile, warns Janelle that sipping a shot is a big no-no. “This isn’t a tea for a tea party,” he jokes.
Janelle is visibly worried at the prospect of drinking alcohol in one fell swoop, telling her friends, “What if I can’t keep it down? Oh, my gosh, I’m seriously worried about this.”
Christine doesn’t give Janelle another second to think about the shot, instead she raises her shot glass up and cheers to “new beginnings” and their respective purchases.
“That’s not bad,” Janelle reveals while making a puckered face with her lips. Once the liquid goes down she admits, “That is really yummy.”
Sister Wives’ Christine Brown and Husband Go on Cruise With Janelle Brown
Janelle — who Christine said was part of her packaged deal when marrying David — ultimately took her first shot experience in stride.
“I didn’t know what to expect because you always see people on the TV, and they shoot it and then they cough,” Janelle tells the cameras.
She reveals that David “took it easy” on her when choosing the slippery nipple since it “had a lot of sugar” in it. “Yes, it burned, but it was pretty sweet,” Janelle concludes.
Sister Wives airs on TLC Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
Spencer Lane's Dad Shares Emotional Tribute After Teen Skater's Death
Figure skater Spencer Lane’s father, Douglas Lane, is remembering the 16-year-old following his death in the recent American Airlines crash.
“Whether he was in his home club in Boston, [Spencer] was just loved by everyone,” Douglas told local Rhode Island news outlet WPRI 12 on Thursday, January 30. “From adults running the club to smaller skaters, to the people that are competing for a shot at the Olympics, they all adored him.”
Douglas and his wife, Christine Lane, adopted sons Spencer and Milo from South Korea. In high school, Spencer found a passion for figure skating. He attended the U.S. Figure Skating team’s development camp in Wichita, Kansas, earlier this month. Christine accompanied Spencer to the program before they both died in the Wednesday, January 29, plane crash.
“About four years ago, Spencer saw Nathan Chen in the Olympics and decided, ‘Hey, I could do that,’ even though people train since they’re a small child and [it] takes them years and years to get skills,” Douglas tearfully recalled. “He started and learned to skate and three years later, he’s in Wichita, Kansas on the National Development Team with U.S. Figure Skating training with former world champions. He was just a phenom and just loved it.”
Skating Club of Boston Announces 6 'Family' Members Died in Plane Crash
According to Douglas, his eldest son had “natural talent” but still “worked every day” to improve his skills on the ice. Spencer was a member of the Skating Club of Boston, which had five other students on the American Airlines flight. (The commercial aircraft collided with a military helicopter and crash-landed in the Potomac River. There are no presumed survivors.)
“He went up to Boston every day, did high school online and was just all-in on figure skating and was great at it,” Douglas said. “His coaches were also on the flight with him. [They] were wonderful world champions from Russia and some other skaters. It’s just devastating.”
U.S. Figure Skater Spencer Lane Shared a Photo Inside the Plane Before Crash
Spencer was one of Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov’s students. The married couple previously competed at the 1994 Olympics against Nancy Kerrigan, who visited the Skating Club of Boston on Thursday to pay her respects.
“I’ve seen [Evgenia and Vadim] a lot of times over the years, but everything I’ve heard of them was maybe they’re a little tough, but with a smile on their faces,” Kerrigan, 55, recalled in a press conference. “Any time I walked [into a room], it was, ‘Oh, hi, it’s so good to see you,’ and [they were] welcoming and happy to see one another. To walk into here and not see that, I think would be very strange for anyone that comes here day in and day out.”
Skating Coach Speaks Out After Her Husband, Students Die in Plane Crash
Figure skating coach Natalya Gudin is mourning the death of her husband, Alexandr Kirsanov, and their students after the American Airlines plane crash.
“I lost everything. I lost my husband. I lost my students. I lost my friends,” Gudin told ABC News on Thursday, January 30.
Kirsanov, who coached young skaters in Delaware alongside his wife, accompanied two students to the U.S. Figure Skating’s development camp in Wichita, Kansas, earlier this month. Their flight home on Wednesday, January 29, collided with a military helicopter and crash-landed in the Potomac River.
“We are husband and wife,” she told the outlet. “We decided who’s going, who’s staying home. We decided he would go to the development camp.”
'Several' U.S. Figure Skating Team Members Involved in D.C. Plane Crash
According to Gudin, she last spoke to Kirsanov before he boarded the aircraft with the young athletes. Kirsanov had told Gudin on the phone, “It’s time for boarding,” and was due to call her back when the flight landed at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Virginia.
After the plane crashed, Gudin never got a phone call from her husband. She learned of the incident from another parent whose child was on the flight and “immediately” wanted to go to D.C. Gudin told ABC News that she was waiting for additional information about Kirsanov’s remains.
“I need my husband back. I need his body back,” she stated.
At least 14 figure skaters were onboard the aircraft, which also serviced approximately 46 other passengers and four crew members.
Figure Skaters Share Tributes After Fatal Potomac River Plane Crash
“U.S. Figure Skating can confirm that several members of our skating community were sadly aboard American Airlines Flight 5342, which collided with a helicopter yesterday evening in Washington, D.C.” a statement from the skating organization read on Thursday. “These athletes, coaches and family members were returning home from National Development Camp held in conjunction with the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita, Kansas.”
The statement continued, “We are devastated by this unspeakable tragedy and hold the victims’ families closely in our hearts. We will continue to monitor the situation and will release more information as it becomes available.”
The students traveling with Kirsanov were named Sean Kay and Angela Yang, according to Delaware Senator Chris Coons.
“I’m devastated to hear the news that at least three Delawareans died during last night’s air collision. Sasha Kirsanov, Sean Kay and Angela Yang went to Wichita to pursue their passion for figure skating,” Coons said in a statement. “It is a tragedy that none of them returned home to our state. Delaware is a state of neighbors, and tonight we hold all of our neighbors a little closer. My heart goes out to Sasha’s wife Natalya, the University of Delaware Figure Skating Club and every other Delawarean touched by the three of them.”
Watch Craig T. Nelson Face Off With Rent Collector in 'Green and Gold'
In Green and Gold, Craig T. Nelson’s Buck fiercely defends both his land and his beloved Green Bay Packers.
The drama, inspired by true events, follows Buck, whose Wisconsin dairy farm is facing foreclosure when he’s presented with a unique opportunity to save his property. In Us Weekly’s exclusive clip, Buck arrives at his farm with his granddaughter Jenny (Madison Lawlor) to find Jerry (Tim Frank), a rent collector evaluating the land and taking photographs.
“I’ve got an agro [agriculture] business interested in developing the place,” Jerry explains. “It’ll be a huge operation. They’re going to want to tear all of this down and build a facility for 1000 [a] head.”
“This ain’t your land,” Buck responds.
“When you don’t pay your loan, it becomes my land, doesn’t it?” Jerry answers. “As much as you want it to, farming doesn’t look like it does in children’s books.”
Buck argues that prices will continue to go up and down, but the businessman is unmoved, telling the farmer: “Prices coming back up are about as likely as the Packers winning the Super Bowl.”

Later in the film, Buck is offered up alternative to losing his farm: If the Green Bay Packers ‘go all the way’ in the Super Bowl, Jerry will give Buck one interest-free year to give him time to get his payments under control. However, if the Packers lose, Buck must sign everything over. With everything on the line, Buck realizes he has no other choice but to risk it all.
Meanwhile, as Buck focuses on saving his property, Jenny chases her dream of leaving the family business in order to become a professional singer. After meeting Brendan Skelnar’s Billy Reed — a famous musician with the contacts to help Jenny with her career as an aspiring singer — the two embark on a mission to make her dreams come true, much to Buck’s chagrin.
Comedian Tom Green Details His Canadian Farm Life With Mule Fanny
Inspired by true events, and in partnership with NFL Films and the Green Bay Packers — who are featured in the film — Nelson has said Green and Gold might be his favorite of all of the iconic projects he’s been involved in.
“At this stage in my life, a story that has heart like this, and tells the truth… that is what I was seeking,” Nelson shared. “And that truth is what I wanted to impart to my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.”
Green and Gold is in theaters now.
Krys Marshall Reveals Reaction to Playing James Marsden’s Love Interest in ‘Paradise’
Krys Marshall is just like Us — and seriously fangirled when she found out she was playing James Marsden’s love interest on the new Hulu series, Paradise.
“Like cartoon wolf, [with] eyeballs, bulging, tongue rolling out,” Marshall exclusively told Us Weekly of her reaction. “I mean, obviously Marsden’s ridiculously good-looking, so that doesn’t hurt! Sign me up, I’ll do it for free!” she continued with a laugh.
She added: “He’s just so cute and sexy. And I saw Westworld … I was like, OK, this is gonna be hot. But then also totally intimidating, like, ‘I’m gonna get in bed with this gigantic megastar, are you kidding me?’ But it was fun. On those days it didn’t feel like work.”
Marshall plays Agent Nicole Robinson, who leads the murder investigation of Cal Bradford (played by Marsden), who is both president of the United States — and the man she’s having an affair with on the hit series.
Because of their characters’ interwoven storylines, the pair often shot intimate scenes together, and Marshall told Us that she was thankful for how Marsden let her take control.
“[He would] let me drive. Every decision that we made, he always checked in, like, ‘It’s up to Krys, what does Krys feel? I’ll do whatever Krys wants,’” she recalled. “So, I felt very held in this role and, when it’s all said and done, I felt really good about what I did.”
And Marsden’s playfulness and ease in serious moments, Marshall said, helped the For All Mankind actress to feel even more comfortable.
“He reminds me of 1950s jazz singers like Harry Belafonte or Frank Sinatra, you know, where he just has this easefulness and a relaxed energy that he brings to the work,” she said. “So, then your nerves fade.”
On screen, while Cal is being unfaithful in his marriage with Robinson, Marshall noted that there are layers of depth to the characters’ romance.
“One of the things I love about the relationship between Cal and Robinson is that it’s not just your typical workplace romance or tour affair with the president,” she explained. “These are two fully fleshed out real human beings who are very much in love and would be together if they were not in these crazy set of circumstances. So I think for me, that is what takes the characters from just sort of a romp in the sheets, but something a whole lot more tender, and beautiful and that was exciting for me.”
Also just as thrilling, Marshall said she was excited to reunite with Sterling K. Brown, whom she previously worked with on their NBC hit, This Is Us because “he feels very much like an older brother and like a friend.”
“I can’t say enough great things about Sterling,” she gushed, recalling how Brown, 48, was first to take control of the music on set and often played Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter.”
Breaking Down the Plot Twist on Sterling K. Brown's New Show 'Paradise'
“Sterling is hooked on ‘Cowboy Carter’ and whenever spirits would get low, he would just turn it up and play it on loud volume on the speaker on his phone and just get the vibe going,” Marshall said. “He’s just so uplifting and takes the work very seriously, [but] doesn’t take himself very seriously. I would say that his leadership skills were off the chain.”
Also taken just as seriously is the biggest question of the season: who killed the president?
For Marshall, finding out who the killer was — which will be revealed in the series’ eighth episode and finale — left her “floored.”
“I had to go back and reread because I was like, ‘How did I miss this?’ This has been in my face, in front of me the entire time.”
Marshall acknowledged that many people “want Cal dead” but added, “I think the beauty in our story is that as the episodes unravel, we will see that every single character we meet has a reason to want him dead.”
She also teased that viewers should know the killer is in plain sight and is “there all along.” However, even after episode 8 comes to a close, there are still questions left unanswered.
“I came away feeling so satisfied and also wanting so much more,” she said. “I personally get really frustrated when a story doesn’t kind of give me something to gnaw on. And this certainly does. I mean, by the end of episode 8, you go, OK, I have the answer to this question and now I have a hundred more questions.”
Winter TV Preview 2025: Inside Must-Watch New and Returning Shows
Marshall’s other acclaimed show, For All Mankind, and its fifth season is highly anticipated. She teased what fans can look forward to in the series’ future.
“When we arrive in season five, we begin in 2012. So, although that’s nearly 15 years behind where we are present day, because of the advancements in technology, because of the United States losing the race to the moon, to the Soviet Union, we’ll see that those advancements in technology continue and continue and continue,” she said. “So, in early seasons, we’re exploring life on the moon and life in deep space and eventually life on Mars. And now I will just tease that season five brings us even further into the universe, even deeper into the cosmos.”
The show was nominated for the Critics Choice Award in 2022 for Best Drama. Marshall said she feels “an embarrassment of riches” when it comes to her success.
“I am overwhelmed by the material that I read, and I’m frequently met with imposter syndrome of ‘How did I get here? How is this possible? I can’t believe these people like me. I can’t believe they haven’t written me off yet,’” she said. “It’s hard to wrap your mind around. You finish school and you move to New York, you move to L.A. and you’ve got this sort of pipe dream in your head that it’s all gonna come together. And for most folks it doesn’t. So for me, even now, it’s still difficult to fathom that I get to do what I love every day and call it work. It doesn’t feel like work. It feels like play.”
The first three episodes of Paradise are now streaming on Hulu. New episodes will drop weekly every Tuesday, until its finale on March 4.
Jenny McCarthy Says Working With Husband Donnie Wahlberg 'Feels Like Home'
Investigation Discovery’s Very Scary Lovers allowed real-life couple Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy to combine their love of true crime — and each other — while working together.
“We don’t get opportunities to [collaborate professionally] that much unless. So to do something like this and to be producers on the show too, it’s too much to pass up,” Wahlberg, 55, exclusively told Us Weekly in a cover story about their true crime special.
McCarthy, 52, was just as thrilled to get the chance to spend more time with Wahlberg, sharing, “There isn’t a difference because wherever I go with him, it feels like home. It’s not meant to be sappy, but we were driving to work today and I’m like, ‘It totally doesn’t feel like we’re going to work.'”
After hosting Very Scary People for six seasons solo, Wahlberg enjoyed having a partner in crime for Very Scary Lovers.
Jenny McCarthy Decorates Home as Valentine's Day Surprise for Donnie Wahlberg
“It gets scary sometimes and some of the stories are pretty heavy. I’ve spent all these years coming home to Jenny and saying, ‘Oh my God, we did this and we did that,” Wahlberg said before McCarthy added, “When Donnie would come home or we’d watch the shows together, I am obviously a true crime fan. I’m that person that does deep dives into rabbit holes. So I’m like, ‘I need more.’ Having him next to me, I can dissect more out of him. I love figuring out the psychology behind all of it.”
Very Scary People explores the lives of some of the most notorious criminals in history — such as John Wayne Gacy, Charles Manson and Aileen Wuornos — through personal firsthand accounts and rare in-depth interviews from survivors. The show’s spinoff, Very Scary Lovers, meanwhile, is a special about Benjamin and Erika Sifrit a.k.a the Thrill Killers.
“We love true crime and I tend to sometimes feed my need off of older YouTube documentaries where some shows haven’t covered certain cases,” McCarthy told Us. “And I come to Donnie and I’m like, ‘You need to do this one.'”
With Wahlberg and McCarthy’s production company, Work Baby, working in partnership with Pilgrim Media Group as the producers for both Investigation Discovery projects, the pair have the chance to be more involved in not just hosting but the production for each show.
Celebrity Couples Who Prove That Love Isn’t Dead
“She’s on the show and produces it with me so we can do them,” Wahlberg noted. “She doesn’t have to ask me to do [a certain case] anymore.”
The best part though is how inspiring the process has been for Wahlberg and McCarthy.
“It’s nice to have someone who has your back [on set]. If I’m doing something that he knows I could do better or something like that, he’ll let me know and the same,” she shared with Us as Wahlberg noted, “One thing about both of us is we’ve both been making television and movies and stuff for a very long time. And it’s really cool to work with someone as smart as Jenny.”
Wahlberg continued: “To know that I can lean on her expertise, count on her to just show up, get it and be adept at making changes — it’s really fun. It’s nice to have a partner in the show who gets it and in many ways gets it more than I do and is helping to elevate the show and bring this whole new world of stories to true crime fans everywhere.”
The season finale of Very Scary People airs on Investigation Discovery Sunday, February 2, at 8 p.m. ET. Very Scary Lovers premieres on Sunday, February 2, at 10 p.m. ET after the Very Scary People season 6 finale.
