Zooey and Emily Deschanel’s Childhood Home Burns Down in Palisades Fire: 'A Sanctuary Where We Felt Most Safe'

"The reminders of generations past: All have vanished into thin air,” Zooey Deschanel wrote in a Friday, Jan. 17 Instagram, sharing that her childhood home burned in the Los Angeles wildfires

Bethenny Frankel never lets a wardrobe malfunction get her down.

The Real Housewives of New York City star, 54, laughed off her dress popping open via TikTok on Thursday, January 16, as she spoke at a Nasdaq stock exchange event. In the clip, she spread her arms open, making a second button of her dress pop open, revealing her nude bra underneath. Frankel started hysterically laughing before buttoning the piece back up.

“Is it ever NOT something? Today’s wardrobe malfunction at @Nasdaq brought to you by yours truly,” Frankel captioned the post.

Fans giggled with Frankel in the comments section. “I’m crying laughing so hard,” one wrote, as another added, “Such a Carrie Bradshaw moment!!!” A third follower commented, “The most Bethenny thing to happen to Bethenny in a while!”

Bethenny Frankel Has a ‘Disaster’ Wardrobe Malfunction at Movie Premiere

Frankel is no stranger to a fashion mishap, with her last one being at the It Ends With Us premiere in New York City in August 2024.

As she climbed into a car, she shared that the removable strap off her pink dress “came off” during the premiere. Frankel even held up the strap to prove it completely detached.

“I was in the rain. My shoes that are gorgeous are soaked,” she said while zooming in on her pastel pumps featuring large florals attached to the heels. “I can’t go out. This is why nobody takes me anywhere. It’s a freaking disaster.”

Although she experienced a sartorial faux pas, Frankel still stunned at the premiere with her corset top featuring lace-up sides, paired with a pleated skirt. She dialed up the sparkle factor with a silver watch, stacked diamond bracelets, an elegant necklace and dangling earrings.

As she arrived at the red carpet, Frankel kept warm in a pastel shawl, which she later swapped out for for a glittery pink purse.

Bethenny Frankel Replies to Critics of Her L'Oreal Paris Show Walk

She matched the color palette to her glam, which included bubblegum eyeshadow, extra rosy cheeks and fuchsia lips. Her brunette hair was parted down the middle and she loosely curled her strands. Indeed, no amount of loose buttons or errant straps will stop Frankel from slaying.

Kevin Costner's Ups and Downs Through the Years: Divorces and More

Taking the good with the bad. Kevin Costner has garnered critical acclaim as both an actor and a director, but he’s faced his fair share of personal hardships.

During a July 1995 interview with the Seattle Times, the Postman star opened up about his 1994 divorce from Cindy Silva after 16 years of marriage. At the time, his film Waterworld — which he coproduced and starred in — had just hit theaters and failed to recoup its massive budget.

“This has been the hardest year of my life. I am no longer with Cindy, my partner since childhood,” Costner told the outlet at the time. “And I was working on this very tough picture. A series of events conspired to happen at the same time. I know it hurt some people that I had failed in my marriage. And the marriage was my own failure.”

The California native and Silva exchanged vows in 1978 and welcomed three children during their marriage: daughters Annie and Lily, born in 1984 and 1986, respectively, and son Joe, born in 1988. Costner reflected on the perils of divorce during a May 2012 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“My faith was shaken,” he admitted. “No one wants their marriage to end, and it did. You are going to see the people you love most, your children, only half as much. That’s a huge loss.”

After the split, the Field of Dreams actor moved on with Bridget Rooney. Although their relationship was brief, they welcomed a son, Liam, in 1996. Costner got married to Christine Baumgartner in 2004. The twosome went on to welcome three kids together: daughter Grace, born in 2010, and sons Cayden and Hayes, born in 2007 and 2014, respectively.

Baumgartner was by the Dragonfly star’s side for several of his career achievements, including his 2012 Emmy win for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie (Hatfields & McCoys) and his 2023 Golden Globe win for Best Actor — Television Series Drama (Yellowstone).

After nearly 19 years of marriage, however, the former model filed for divorce in May 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Costner’s rep hinted in a statement to TMZ at the time that the director wasn’t happy with his estranged wife’s decision.

“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” the statement read. “We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”

The Thirteen Days actor previously admitted that his fears of being a divorced father again almost kept him from marrying Baumgartner.

“Finally, there came a moment where maybe this doesn’t go forward,” he recalled to Extra in July 2020. “Because I thought to myself, I could be divorced again, but what I couldn’t be is divorced again with children. That crushed me. I had to kind of face life and go, ‘Are you gonna miss life, are you gonna miss love because you’re afraid?’ And the answer finally came back, ‘I’m not gonna lose her because I’m gonna be afraid.’”

After Whitney Houston died at age 48, Costner revealed that he had he tried to help his Bodyguard costar with her addiction struggles.
“There are some people that really love Whitney, and a couple times during the last seven, eight years, (they) asked me, would I write her a letter?” he recalled during an April 2012 interview with Anderson Cooper. “When someone says, will you write a letter to someone who you know is having trouble … I did. … I don’t know if those letters were ever read.”
Costner gave a heartwarming eulogy at the Grammy winner’s funeral.
“The Whitney I knew, despite her success and worldwide fame, still wondered, ‘Am I good enough? Am I pretty enough? Will they like me?’ It was the burden that made her great and the part that caused her to stumble in the end,” he said. “So off you go, Whitney, off you go . . . escorted by an army of angels to your Heavenly Father. And when you sing before Him, don’t you worry — you’ll be good enough."

Costner won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor — Television Series Drama for his role as John Dutton in the Paramount Network series Yellowstone.
He was unable to attend the ceremony in person due to freeway flooding near his home. Moments before the awards show began, Costner shared via Instagram that Baumgartner had bought him “some gold and yellow and black and silver balloons” to commemorate the occasion as they watched from home.

After his divorce, Costner found himself making headlines for his rumored dating life. In response to reports that the actor was romantically involved with Jewel, Costner set the record straight.
“Jewel and I are friends — we’ve never gone out,” Costner shared during a June episode of The Howard Stern Show, noting that he’s worried the speculation might cost the pair their close bond. “She’s special, and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have.”

Costner confirmed he was officially done with Yellowstone after five seasons.
“I just want to reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half of working on Horizon and doing all of the things that’s required, and thinking about Yellowstone, that beloved series that I love and I know you love,” Costner said in a video shared via X in June. “I just realized that I’m not going to be able to continue season 5B or into the future. It was something that really changed me. I loved it. And I know you loved it. I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be returning. I love the relationship we’ve been able to develop, and I’ll see you at the movies.”

Jim Carrey’s Most Iconic Roles: 'Ace Ventura,' 'Sonic the Hedgehog,' More

Jim Carrey’s successful career is nothing to laugh at.

Since scoring his breakout gig on the series In Living Color in 1990, Carrey has captivated the big and small screen with his slick wit, hilarious humor and uncanny ability to bring people to stitches with laughter.

While Carrey is best known for his comedic roles in projects such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Dumb and Dumber and How The Grinch Stole Christmas, he has also surprised fans by taking on more serious roles in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kidding and The Truman Show.

After decades of memorable performances, Carrey teased a potential acting retirement in April 2022. “I’ve done enough. I am enough,” he admitted to Access Hollywood at the time.

However, he backtracked his comments in a December 2024 exclusive with Us Weekly, sharing, “I think I’ve decided not to retire, but to have power rests. I meditate a lot.

Scroll through to relive Carrey’s best TV and movie roles over the years:

Carrey first brought his zany sense of humor to the masses after appearing on In Living Color from 1990 to 1994. While he starred in some memorable skits on the sketch series — including his amusing role as a guy in the background during a TV interview and a spot-on impression of Jay Kordich — his most memorable character was the gut-busting fire marshall whose teeth stood out just as much as his jokes.

© New Line Cinema

In 1994’s The Mask, Carrey played a meek bank teller who comes across a wooden mask that transforms him into a strong cartoonish man with a bright lime-green face. Wearing the mask not only gives Stanley the confidence to stand up for himself against bank robbers, but also to fight to rescue his love interest, Cameron Diaz’s Tina Carlyle — but in between, chaos ensues.

In 1994, Carrey starred in the epic comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective as an eccentric private investigator whose expertise is locating missing animals. Carrey’s facial expressions and catchphrases, including “Alrighty then!” were impossible not to laugh at — and mimic.

© New Line Cinema

Carrey’s portrayal of the dense limousine driver paired up alongside Jeff Daniels’ Harry Dunne, Dumb and Dumber was comedic gold that gained quite a cult following since it premiered in 1994. The pals travel across the country from Rhode Island to Colorado in the hopes of returning a briefcase of money to a woman who left it behind in Lloyd’s limo — but their forehead-slapping behavior throughout their journey helped this movie become one of the most popular comedy movies of the '90s.

Carrey underwent another impressive physical transformation to play the Batman villain The Riddler in 1995’s Batman Forever. His version of the character has become iconic for his bright red hair and green question mark-patterned costumes.

© Columbia Pictures

Carrey’s comic skills took a dark, yet hilarious turn in 1996’s The Cable Guy. The funnyman played a creepy cable company employee who becomes obsessed with one of his customers named Steven M. Kovacs, played by Matthew Broderick. Chip infiltrates himself into Steven’s personal life by wreaking havoc and using blackmail on his new pal before he finds himself paying for his evil intentions.

In one of his funniest roles to-date, Carrey plays a lawyer who has a problem with telling the truth in Liar, Liar in 1997. After his young son uses his birthday wish to request that his father not tell any lies, Fletcher watches as his career — and his chance at making partner in a law firm — are severely impacted by his inability to fib. One of the funniest scenes in Carrey’s career comes from Liar, Liar, when Fletcher has a battle with his consciousness after winning a case for a woman who was using her children as bait against her ex.

Carrey dominated his role as an unknowing reality star in 1998’s The Truman Show. When his sympathetic character finds out his life had been entertainment for everyone else in the world for the last 30 years, he finds his own way to break free. Carrey reportedly chose to take on the role in the drama in an effort to do something besides comedy.

© Universal Pictures

In 1999’s biographical comedy Man on the Moon, Carrey plays Andy Kaufman, the late iconic comedian who starred on Saturday Night Live and Taxi. While the intent of the movie was to honor Kaufman’s career in Hollywood, Carrey’s scope of method acting is what really captivated viewers. In a 2017 documentary called Jim & Andy, viewers were surprised to see how far Carrey took it when it came to not only portraying Kaufman, but the late comic’s villainous character Tony Clifton. According to the documentary, Carrey’s portrayal of the cranky character was so convincing that to those on set, it seemed as though he was truly channeling Tony Clifton instead of Kaufman.

Carrey completely transformed into How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ titular holiday villain in the Ron Howard-directed 2000 movie. “There was no challenge like The Grinch,” Carrey exclusively told Us in December 2024 of the makeup process for the film. “[For] The Grinch, I had to be trained by a guy who actually tells CIA people and operatives how to endure torture. That’s how I got through The Grinch.”

In 2003’s Bruce Almighty, Carrey plays a down-on-his-luck television reporter who routinely blames God for his misfortune. God, played by Morgan Freeman, in return, gives him the almighty power to be in charge for one week, which Bruce finds isn’t as easy as he thought it would be.

© Focus Features

In one of Carrey’s most complex roles, the comedian takes a turn as a shy man who falls in love with Kate Winslet’s Clementine Kruczynski in 2004’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. After an argument threatens their two-year relationship, Clementine has her memory of their relationship erased and Joel follows suit. The movie follows the former flames as they try to navigate their lives without each other and paints a harrowing picture on how passionate flames can burn out regardless of how much love tries to fuel them.

Before Neil Patrick Harris took on the role of the villainous Count Olaf in Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events TV series, Carey donned heavy makeup to play the master of disguise in the 2004 film Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Based on the book series by Daniel Handler, the movie sees Count Olaf go to over-the-top lengths to steal the inheritance of the Baudelaire children after their parents’ tragic death.

In the 2008 comedy Yes Man, Carrey’s character agrees to say yes to every opportunity that comes his way after attending a life-changing self-help seminar. His antics land him in some hilarious situations, as well as help him find romance with Zooey Deschanel’s Allison.

Carrey turned in another moving dramatic performance on the Showtime series Kidding, which ran for two seasons from 2018 to 2020. The show followed his character Jeff Piccirillo, a children’s television host known by the nickname Mr. Pickles, as his happy-go-lucky onscreen persona is challenged by a personal tragedy and real-life family drama. The show scored two Golden Globe nominations in 2019 for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy and a Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy nod for Carrey.

Carrey donned a bald cap and grand mustache to portray the video game villain Dr. Robotnik in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise from 2020 to 2024. In the franchise’s third installment, the actor took on double duty playing his character’s grandfather, Professor Gerald Robotnik.
“To me, he's the most dangerous kind of human being there is,” he exclusively told Us of getting to play Dr. Robotnik in December 2024. “A loveless child with a triple-digit IQ and whose bitterness has metastasized into total villainy.”

Lone Stars: Glen Powell, Christine Quinn and Other Celebs in Texas

The newest trend in Hollywood isn’t in Hollywood at all. Some notable names have said goodbye to Los Angeles and moved deep into the heart of Texas in recent years.

Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell is the latest celeb to make the leap. After more than a decade in California, Powell decamped for his home state — and a house 30 minutes from his parents — in 2024.

“I think this is going to be good for my head, heart and soul,” Powell told The Hollywood Reporter in May.

Powell isn’t alone in his new, old home. Celebs like Becca Tobin and Jamie Lynn Sigler have made the star power one more thing that’s “bigger in Texas.”

I’m still on things and I’m still a businesswoman and it’s still my career, but I don’t feel the pressure around it because we took a stand for ourselves, and we made decisions for our families.”

Becca Tobin

The Glee alum moved to Austin with husband Zach Martin around the same time as longtime friend Sigler.

“I am really, really grateful to be living here,” Quinn told People, adding that she was happy to “be close” to family. “I have a sister who lives really close to me, and my son has a cousin. So it’s really something that I needed as opposed to the chaos when I was in Los Angeles.”

Christine Quinn and her son have said goodbye to L.A. as they’re putting down new — and familiar — roots in Texas.

“I am really, really grateful to be living here,” the Selling Sunset alum, 36, said of her new home near Dallas in an interview with People published on Friday, January 17. “[It’s a blessing to] be close to my family. I have a sister who lives really close to me, and my son has a cousin.”

Quinn, who was born in Dallas, added that having loved ones close by was “really something” she “needed as opposed to the chaos” of life in Los Angeles.

Over the past year, the real estate agent has faced a series of ups and downs with estranged husband Christian Richard. In March 2024, Richard was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly throwing a bag with glass in it at Quinn. The following month, Richard filed for divorce from Quinn, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The exes share son Christian, 3, whom they welcomed in May 2021.

Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn Throws Shade at Her 'Still Balding' Ex

While Quinn and Richard’s divorce is currently ongoing, the reality star told the outlet that she is “very optimistic that it will be finished soon.”

Quinn has settled down in a new home in Texas, and it’s no surprise that she’s spearheading the decorating process herself.

“I found a wonderful house,” she said. “I would say it’s, like, 60 percent done, but there’s still some things that I want to do and really take it to the next level because I love interior design.”

As Quinn has established herself back in the Lone Star State, Christian is also adjusting well to the new environment. Before the move, Quinn confessed that she was “really worried” about her little one as he used to be “nonverbal.” Since their relocation, Christian has become a “complete chatterbox,” per Quinn.

“It’s just so crazy since I moved to Texas. I mean, he was literally a nonverbal child at 3 years old, which is pretty rare,” she explained. “He went from that to being immediately enrolled in school, having other kids around him, being so talkative, being so extroverted.”

Christine Quinn Is 'Doing Great' Amid Drama, O Group's Nicole Young Says

In addition to connecting with other children in his new home, Quinn added that her son has also been in an “intensive therapy” program. However, she believes that the new landscape has played a major factor in Christian’s personal development.

“Children are a product of the effect of their environment,” she said. “And hopefully, that’s kind of coming through now.”

Southern Charm’s Venita Says JT 'Popped Up' With a GF Amid Their Romance

Southern Charm Venita Says JT Popped Up With a GF Amid Their Romance
Venita Aspen and Jarrett Thomas Michelle Watt/Bravo (2)

Venita Aspen is spilling the sweet tea about her romance with Jarrett “JT” Thomas — and according to her, it didn’t end well.

“I was also excited to come in [this season] with my best friend JT. That was fun,” Venita said of Southern Charm season 10 during the Thursday, January 16, episode of Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” podcast.

She recalled, “We became thick as thieves over the summer. I was ready. Then boom — everything crashed down in front of me.”

The Southern Charm star explained that she and JT were dating by the time the show’s trailer dropped in October 2024, but their romance soon went off the rails.

‘Southern Charm’ Cast Reacts to JT Leaving Show: ‘He Was No Longer Wanted’

When asked whether JT “ghosted her,” Venita replied, “No, he popped up with a girlfriend on Instagram.”

JT went Instagram official with Ali Pereless in November 2024, captioning a series of cuddly photos of the couple, “Long overdue 💟.”

While Venita didn’t go into any more details about JT’s new romance, she said it had been eight weeks since they last talked.

“I think we need to get him to show up and get him to talk. Because I have no idea [what happened],” she said on the podcast. “It was very jarring. I think that I’m still kinda digesting it.”

The fashion influencer recalled: “One day I was supposed to be going to lunch with his mom and him and hang out, and the trailer drops and he starts acting crazy. Falls off the face of the earth.”

Venita said looking back, “I think he was nervous to see how he was going to be portrayed this year. I think the anxiety got the best of him.”

Days after he debuted his new romance on social media, JT raised eyebrows again when he announced he “resigned” from Southern Charm. He made the announcement in November 2024, shortly before the new season was set to premiere.

Southern Charm’s Austen Calls JT ‘Miserable Little Rat’ for Cheating Rumors

“I no longer wish to participate in any ways moving forward with the TV show,” he wrote via Instagram at the time, explaining that he would not be taping the “2-3 remaining green room interviews.”

Venita, who to start off season 10 was close with JT, said on Thursday that she is “doing my best” to not say “too much about the situation” until she has a chance to speak with JT.

“I want to hear what he has to say. I don’t want to dig too hard on him,” she said. “I know the moment will come when I can lash out at him, but I can’t do it yet.”

Southern Charm’s Madison Slams JT's Affair Claims Amid Brett's Cancer Battle

Venita added that JT disappearing from her life and the show was really hard because she is the “only person who really stands beside” him all season.

“That put me in a position of messing up friendships that I had been working on building for years,” she explained, noting that fans will see the fallout transpire this season. “I ended up risking all of those friendships.”

She added that “his day will come,” and while JT “thinks he played me,” that is not the case. “That’s the funny part because I haven’t had my time yet,” Venita concluded. “You wait until you’re back in front of me and I get to say my peace. You actually got played here, not me.”

While Venita is upset with JT for her own reasons, her fellow costars have her back — and their own bones to pick with him should he return for the season 10 reunion.

During the first part of the season, JT butted heads with Madison LeCroy after he claimed her husband, Brett Randle, thought they hooked up during a past trip to Jamaica.

JT also claimed that he heard Austen Kroll was dating other women when he started seeing his girlfriend, Audrey Pratt. JT was then accused of calling Patricia Altschul a bitch, which he has denied.

“He was no longer wanted in the group,” Madison, 34, exclusively told Us Weekly of JT in December 2024.

Taylor Ann Green told Us at the time that it was “very selfish” for JT to “have a hiccup and then all of a sudden bail.”

Celebrity Couples Who Have Been Together for 50 Years (Or Longer!)

Many stars have golden relationships that have lasted at least 50 years.

For instance, Dolly Parton has been married to Carl Dean since 1966 and they still remain blissfully in love.

“We’re the perfect partners,” Parton exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2022. “We both have a great sense of humor. … We’re able to solve any problems and any situation, making a joke about it and not letting it get too heavy, but we respect each other and we like each other. We lucked up, let’s put it that way.”

Parton also revealed the “little ways” that the pair keep their spark alive.

“Last year on his birthday, I dressed up in my Playboy bunny suit, made him breakfast and [ran] around in that for a little while,” she quipped to Us. “You know, most people can keep a marriage [going strong] if you make a little effort. Some people just get slouching and lazy and about stuff that ain’t important, like leaving the toilet seat up. And if that’s the worst thing you’ve to worry about, you’re already in trouble.”

Parton and Dean first crossed paths in 1964 shortly after she moved to Nashville to become a singer. They met outside a local laundromat.
"I guess kind of in the back of my mind I was maybe flirtin' a little," Parton recalled in a 1970 interview with The Tennesseean. "But mainly I was just bein' friendly because I'd always been the kind of person who would speak back and smile.”

Jackson and Richardson met in 1970 while attending Morehouse College and Spelman College, respectively, which are both located in Atlanta. The pair got married in 1980 and celebrated their golden anniversary in August 2020.
“50 years ago we started dancing, it was all fun & games. 40 years ago today, shit got real,” Jackson gushed via Instagram. “The slow drag of our lives pressed together, I led sometimes, sometimes she did. We finally found that rhythm where there was no leader, we moved as one. We’re still glued together, hip to hip, a holding each other up, not covering as much of the floor, but owning & loving the space that’s ours.”
He added, "You for keeping me on my toes & on the beat for 18,250 days. You make my soul 🎶sing‼️ Don’t change the tune, we’re not done dancing.”
Three years later, Richardson directed Jackson in The Piano Lesson on Broadway, for which he scored a 2023 Tony Award nomination.

Martin and Janet have been married since 1961, going on to welcome four children. Two of their sons, Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez, have followed in their father’s acting footsteps.
After celebrating their 54th anniversary in 2016, Martin opened up to Closer about how Janet “saved” him during his past heart attack. (Martin suffered a heart attack at the age of 37 while filming 1979’s Apocalypse Now, a notoriously plagued production.)
“There was a struggle to get me to a hospital because we were in a remote area of the jungle. My wife, Janet, was running down the corridor, and I was on a gurney being wheeled in, and I looked up and saw her face,” Martin recalled. “She leaned down and whispered, ‘It’s only a movie, babe. Please, it’s only a movie!’”
He added, "It was very serious, and she handled it like a pro. She had me laughing in the most dire circumstances. She said, ‘Don’t take yourself so seriously.’”
According to Martin, they didn’t make a big fuss of their anniversary because “every day is a celebration with this dame.”

The Boy Meets World alums, who also played a married couple on the ‘90s sitcom, wed in 1951 after initially meeting as students at Northwestern University.
“He makes me laugh. His sense of humor and his ability every day to find something funny is really good for me because I’m very intense,” Bartlett told Forbes in March 2022. “That and being a great father. He’s a great father.”
The pair adopted sons Michael and Robert in 1964 and 1966, respectively, after the stillbirth of son William.

The Walkens first met in 1966 when they were both cast as dancers in a touring production of West Side Story. Christopher and Georgianne dated for three years before tying the knot in 1969.
"Every once in a while — certainly not often — I’ll be looking out the window, and I’ll think, I feel pretty good,” Christopher told The New York Times in February 2022. "My bills are paid, my wife is healthy, the weather’s nice. That’s really all I care about: when, apropos of nothing, I happen to look out the window and think, This is good.”

The actor was first enamored with now-wife Shakira when he saw her onscreen in a Maxwell House commercial that aired on British television in 1971. After a mutual friend passed along the former pageant queen’s phone number, Michael got in touch to request a date.
“I fell in love with her in about eight minutes. It took her two hours to fall in love with me,” he joked to Radio Times in October 2018. “We don’t need anybody else except the family. We’re very happy in our own company. And we all of us, no matter how nice and loving and lovely we are, all have a slightly bad side. Shakira is the only person I ever met who didn’t have a bad side. There’s no bad side. It’s all good.”

The Happy Days alum started dating Cheryl in high school, going on to get married in 1975. They later welcomed four kids — Bryce Dallas, Jocelyn, Paige and Reed — and still remain happily in love.
"People say, ‘How’d you do it?’ There’s no technique. There’s no tactic other than communication is really important. You have to learn to communicate and have difficult conversations in constructive ways,” Ron told People in 2019. “Beyond that, there’s an element of luck because people either grow together or they don’t and I don’t think you can force that.”

Tomlin and Wagner fell in love at first sight in 1971.
“I tell you, in two minutes, I fell in love with her,” Tomlin said at the Lambda Literary Awards in July 2020. “She had on hot pants, stretchy boots that went up to her knee, and a little backpack. I don’t know what it was, but I was in love.”

Less than one year later in 1957, Alan and Arleen got married. They went on to welcome daughters Eve, Elizabeth and Beatrice.

5 Hot Stories: Justin Baldoni Speaks Out, Bachelor Nation Split Update

Justin Baldoni publicly addressed his drama with It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively shortly after she responded to his $400 million lawsuit. Speaking for the first time about the legal battle, Baldoni said he’s “grateful” for those supporting him. “We have amazing friends and family and faith,” he added in a video obtained by TMZ on Friday, January 17. Baldoni’s comment came one day after he filed a lawsuit alongside his production studio and other plaintiffs claiming Lively was “determined to make Baldoni the real-life villain in her story” to cover up her allegedly “tone-deaf” promotion of their 2024 film. Baldoni further claimed that Lively — who also served as a producer on the movie — never read the Colleen Hoover novel on which it’s based. Lively previously accused Baldoni, the movie’s director, of creating a “hostile work environment” in her own lawsuit filed last month. In a statement provided to Us Weekly, Lively’s legal team slammed Baldoni’s “desperate” attempt to “turn the tables” on the actress, alleging Baldoni’s strategy “will fail.” Wrap up the week with more of Us’ top stories below:
