Tennis phenom Frances Tiafoe is still in awe whenever he rubs elbows with some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
“I’m sitting there and I say it in real time [to] whoever I’m with, like, ‘I’m taking shots with Taylor Swift,’’’ Tiafoe, 26, said during the Tuesday, January 7, episode of “The Pivot” podcast. “Granted, I’m … a Beyoncé guy, but at the moment, I was like, ‘Man, this is crazy.’”
Tiafoe and his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, attended the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos in November 2024, which Swift, 35, also attended to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce. After the game, the couples partied in a private suite and snapped a series of now-viral social media selfies.
“She’s the biggest star out here and then, you know, Trav and [Patrick] Mahomes [are] like, ‘Yo, we got to have you in KC.’ Them saying that is wild to me and they rolled out the red carpet for me,” Tiafoe recalled. “It’s crazy ‘cause playing tennis and people want to reach out and hang out and actually do stuff. Those are the things [that] are why you do what you do.”
Tiafoe started playing tennis at the age of 3, going pro in 2015 when he turned 17. He won his first ATP title at the 2018 Delray Beach tournament, becoming the youngest American athlete since Andy Roddick to take home the trophy. Despite his accolades and achievements on the court, Tiafoe sees his career as something larger.
“It’s who I am and what I represent, like, people relating to you,” he said on “The Pivot” episode. “Like, a lot of people can see themselves in you [and] the energy I play with, the smile I have and I’m just a regular dude. Man, I’m just a dude from Maryland who loves tennis.”
Tiafoe explained that he also has “a lot of interests outside of just hitting the tennis ball.”

“You can feel that,” he continued. “I am who I am in every room. I’m not trying to put on for nobody else and people feel that.”
As his career took off, Tiafoe only realized the extent of his fame when he “beat [Rafael] Nadal” in the 2022 US Open tournament.
“I stepped into something different,” he added. “I went to the hotel that day, and the hotel was packed. Everybody [was] waiting for me … rather than when I checked into the hotel that day, they [were] like, ‘Oh, you here to watch the US Open?’ … It’s amazing how things can change like that.”
“We both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together,” Garth and Facinelli wrote in a joint statement to Us Weekly at the time, referring to their three daughters: Luca, Lola and Fiona.
“We have been really putting up a good face for the world to make it seem like it’s all [seamless, but] it’s been very difficult,” Garth exclusively told Usin July 2024. “We wanted to finally tell the truth and let people know that this evolution could happen for us and it [is a] situation many people … [are dealing with].”

“Once a breakup happens, you need to go through the healing process first. Love is blind and hindsight is 20/20,” Facinelli told LaPalme magazine about moving on in the outlet’s Fall 2017 issue. “People come into your life for a reason and relationships can change and just because we aren’t living together, doesn’t mean you can’t love each other. I think once, there was a time where we had to learn that we had to be able to move forward with love and respect.”
Garth has been candid about learning to navigate coparenting with her ex. She exclusively told Us, “I learned that forgiveness is possible and time heals wounds, which is hard to believe when you’re in it, but it all works out in the end.”
Facinelli made headlines nearly 10 years after finalizing his divorce from Garth, discussing how their relationship slowly changed ahead of their separation.
“Somebody might say something that is kind of hurtful. The other person might permit it and then they get into a habit,” he revealed on the “Allison Interviews” podcast at the time. “So, bad things can become habitual, the way you start to treat each other, giving the other person permission or an allowance to talk to you in a certain way. If that person talks to you in a certain way or does something, then all of a sudden, they feel they have permission to do that because you didn’t say, ‘That hurt my feelings.’ You didn’t speak up. All of a sudden it gets habitual, and it grows, and then you get resentful.”
Amid the Pacific Palisades wildfires and resulting evacuations, Facinelli provided Garth and husband Dave Abrams shelter at his home with fiancée Lily Anne Harrison.
“I wanted to let you know that we are safe. Peter and his family took us in and have been so kind,” Garth said in an Instagram video. “I am deeply saddened for our city and just feel numb. Our home was spared but so much to clean up and ready to get active to help our neighbors and friends and fellow Angelinos. … I am grateful we are all OK and have a home to return to.”
“Awesome! Epic. Glenn for the win!” Grammer, 56, commented on the WWHL Instagram post, which showed Close’s dramatic “Clubhouse Playhouse” performance. “I had the privilege of meeting Glenn years ago with my ex-husband. She was lovely and very down earth.”
Kemsley yelled the c-word several times (and so did Close) during a verbal altercation with Grammer during the December 17 episode of RHOBH. Curses started flying after Kemsley started arguing with fellow cast member Sutton Stracke. (Kemsley and Stracke’s tension has continued throughout the season.)
Grammer noted that she was “sorry to butt in” but felt like she had to share her opinion about Kemsley.
“Years ago, my house burned down. I lost my house, I lost my assistant of many many years and I didn’t get a lot of compassion or empathy from some — especially Dorit,” she said. (Grammer’s Malibu mansion was destroyed in the Woolsey fire of 2018; in an unrelated incident her longtime assistant Scott MacLean died around the same time.)
Kemsley responded: “Honey, you were a total c— to me.”
She continued with a rant that became the script for Close’s scenery-chewing monologue on Thursday’s WWHL.
“You were a total c— to me. I called you a stupid c—. Not a f—ing c—. I did it as a joke. I said you’re a stupid c— as a joke. You know I did. It was a joke. You knew it. You always knew it, Camille,” Kemsley said. “And you just used it because you needed a moment. You’ve always needed a moment. Where have you been Camille? What are you doing here? You need a moment?”
