RHOBH's Dorit Kemsley Hopes for PK Marriage Update in 'Another 6 Months'
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Dorit Kemsley is giving a status update on her marriage to PK Kemsley.
“We stand in exactly the same place we were at the very beginning,” Dorit, 48, said on the Tuesday, January 7, RHOBH After Show when asked where she and PK stand after announcing their separation in May 2024.
Dorit continued, “There is movement but it’s just not forward — it’s left to right. I’d love to go forward, and I’m consistently trying to advocate for that.”
“Ask me in another six months. Hopefully, I’ll have a better answer,” she added, noting that she and PK, 57, have “work that needs to be done” to resolve the issues between them.
During Tuesday’s episode of RHOBH, Dorit recalled to costar Bozoma Saint John a marriage counseling session with PK in which he allegedly yelled, “This is why I want a divorce and I don’t want to be married to this woman.”
On the After Show, Dorit described the alleged comments as a “dagger in the heart.”
“It wasn’t like a sensible, ‘Listen Dorit, I’ve reached a point in our marriage where I want a divorce.’ You don’t know if it’s reactionary. It’s like, ‘Wait a minute, this is the first time you’ve said it.’ This is serious words,” she said. “I’m entitled to know your feelings. I don’t understand.”
As for whether the couple will reunite or proceed with a divorce, Dorit is uncertain.
Everything We Learned About Dorit and PK's Divorce in 'RHOBH' Premiere
“Am I preparing for a divorce? Am I not? It’s such a mindf—,” she explained to Bozoma. “When we’ve made up [and] we’re peaceful, [he says], ‘Oh, please, I say things!’ It’s so hard.”
Dorit also told Bozoma that the uncertainty about whether she and PK will divorce or not is part of why she hasn’t told their kids — son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8 — about their separation.
“Him and I need to figure it out so that I can prepare them. That’s one of the biggest reasons why I didn’t want to tell them immediately,” she shared. “It is a game of ping-pong. I don’t want my kids having to deal with that.”
Dorit and PK announced their separation last May after nearly a decade of marriage. “We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” the pair wrote in a statement shared via Instagram. “To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey. With love, Dorit and PK.”
RHOBH's Dorit and PK Said ‘Really Ugly’ Insults to Each Other Before Split
The aftermath of the couple’s separation was showcased during the RHOBH season 14 premiere in November 2024.
Speaking to Us Weekly exclusively ahead of the premiere, Dorit said she and PK had yet to discuss an actual divorce.
“We’re navigating this period,” she explained. “I just really hope that, regardless of where we go — I think if we end up getting back together — that there’s a lot of work that needs to be done. You don’t reach this place and want to just jump back into the saddle without having done the work that you know is necessary to enjoy the marriage and have the communication that you really need.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET and streams the next day on Peacock.
