What's Next for Savannah Chrisley After Fighting for Parents' Pardons
Savannah Chrisley is happy to move out of her parents’ mansion.
While appearing in ABC News Studios’ The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup, Savannah, 27, revealed that she was looking forward to living the “carefree life of a 28-year-old” following Todd and Julie Chrisley‘s release from prison.
Savannah had lived in her mom and dad’s Nashville home for more than two years while they were incarcerated in separate prisons. President Donald Trump pardoned the pair in late May, and called Savannah to deliver the news when she was out running errands.
One month post-pardons, Savannah told ABC that she was “moving into a condo,” despite her family asking her, “Aren’t you gonna miss a house?”

She remarked, “I’m not gonna miss landscapers, I’m not gonna miss pool people,” to which Todd, 56, who also participated in the Sunday, June 29 interview, added, “I have learned that a house is not a priority to her. … Maintenance is not a priority to her.”
“No, I was raising kids,” Savannah said in her defense, referencing how she took care of her younger brother, Grayson Chrisley, 19, as well as Chloe Chrisley, 12, whom Todd and Julie adopted in 2016. (Chloe is the daughter of Kyle Chrisley, Todd’s son from a previous marriage.)
Savannah laughed as she described her dad’s reaction to seeing the home for the first time in years.
“He comes in and is critiquing everything in the house,” she said. “I was literally fighting for y’all for two and a half years and raising kids, I think the floors are fine.”
Savannah Chrisley Reveals Her New Goal After Parents' Prison Release
In June 2022, Todd and Julie, 52, were convicted on federal charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy. Todd was sentenced to 12 years behind bars while Julie was given seven years. (Both have maintained their innocence.)
Without her parents by her side, Savannah had a hard time holding down the fort.
“People comment and will say, like, ‘Oh, I feel so sorry for you, living off of mom and daddy’s stolen money,'” she said in a 2024 episode of her “Unlocked” podcast. “And ‘You’re rich, it’s easy, stop trying to act like it’s so hard.'”
She continued, “I struggled. Like, I know what it feels like to not know how you’re going to pay your bills that month. ‘Cause I was left with three mortgages, and the lawyers, and kids.”

While she juggled many responsibilities, Savannah made some time to appear as the Afghan Hound on season 11 of The Masked Singer last year.
“I missed The Masked Singer because I was embarrassed for her,” Todd told ABC News. “I knew she was going to do it, but she cannot sing.”
He added, “I guess the beautiful part of that is she went and did that, and she didn’t care how bad she was.”

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Stars Join Dancing With the Stars

2 ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Stars Are Joining ‘DWTS’ Season 34
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion is the gift that keeps on giving with not one — but two — Dancing With the Stars casting announcements.
During the special, which started streaming on Hulu Tuesday, July 1, host Nick Viall surprised the cast — and Us — when he told attendees Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura, Taylor Frankie Paul, Layla Taylor and Miranda McWhorter that after several of the wives auditioned for the show, two of them were chosen.
First, Jen, 26, who is pregnant with baby No. 3 while filming the reunion, got the news that she would be competing for the mirrorball trophy in the fall. A plot twist revealed Whitney, 32, was also picked for season 34.
MomTok and DadTok— a.k.a Conner Leavitt, Zac Affleck, Jordan Ngatikaura, Dakota Mortensen, Jace Terry and Jacob Neely — were there to congratulate the costars, who will be competing against each other. ABC has previously confirmed that TikToker Alix Earle and Steve Irwin‘s son Robert Irwin were taking part in the next season, but the rest of the celeb competitors have yet to be confirmed.
Everything to Know About 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 34
Before the news, DWTS pro Val Chmerkovskiy exclusively told Us Weekly how he has very high expectations when it comes to potential celebrity contestants after the show “went viral” on social media.
“When I think of a partner, I just want somebody that — after being on the show for 20 seasons now — I just want somebody that’s excited to be there,” Chmerkovskiy, 39, shared in April. “I’ve seen a lot of really incredible people and I’ve worked with a lot of really talented dynamic people. But it is from that excitement that I’m really inspired and now you have me really going the distance for you.”
DWTS’ resurgence in popularity has been in large part because of social media. While judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli and their scores play a role — so do votes from fans. During season 33, DWTS broke a long-standing tradition by releasing viewer vote totals.
ABC told Deadline in October 2024 that there were more than 14 million fan votes received for the episode where Anna Delvey and partner Ezra Sosa as well as Tori Spelling and her partner, Pasha Pashkov, got eliminated on live TV.
“The record number of votes that week suggests to me that a lot of our audience are very passionate about a lot of our stars this year, and the increased ratings year or year would suggest that it is the case,” DWTS executive producer Conrad Green told Deadline. “At core, as always, the cast is what defines the season.”
Who Should Compete on 'DWTS' Season 34? Us Weekly Has Thoughts
Green continued: “This group of stars are really likable, talented and love being on the show — and that passion for what they’re doing really comes through on live TV. There’s real dance talent across the cast and lot of unique stories as well as so much potential in the couples to grow as performers.”
At the time, Green reflected on the show’s long-lasting success.
“Also, Dancing with the Stars is a really positive show at a time when the world is feeling pretty bleak, so there’s a certain escapism and sense of community that comes with watching which helps remind us of what we have in common as Americans,” Green continued. “We’ve also been on air long enough now that a new generation of viewers are watching with their kids and the popularity of the show on social apps like TikTok has exploded and introduced new viewers.”
Executive producer Ryan O’Dowd recently slammed claims that manipulated votes played a role in the show’s achievements.
“We take that very seriously. We have never, nor would we ever do anything to manipulate the votes,” O’Dowd told Deadline in May about how the show “really needs to be” credible. “It needs to allow the viewers to have a voice and to really be the voice of who deserves to win. So we have never nor would we ever want to manipulate that in any way.”

Jennifer Aniston Gives a Rare Look Into Private Life
Jennifer Aniston is giving fans a rare glimpse into her private life.
The beloved Friends star took to Instagram on Monday, June 30, and shared a series of cozy snapshots with her friends and canine companions.
“Happy Monday ,” Aniston, 56, captioned the post.
The first photo features the actress hanging out with her adorable dog Lord Chesterfield, whom she rescued in 2020. Other snaps include Aniston kissing pal Sean Hayes on the cheek, and snuggling up against longtime bestie Courteney Cox. She is also shown spending time with friends Kristin Hahn and Andrea Bendewald as well as Clyde, her Schnauzer mix.
Everything the Friends Cast Has Said About Relationship With Jennifer Aniston
“All the love in these pics! ,” remarked Ali Wentworth in the comment section of the post, while Elizabeth Perkins wrote: “Happiness.
”
“Thanks for sharing these precious moments with us!! Love seeing this,” gushed another fan.
Aniston remains an A-lister in a world where increasingly anyone and everyone can achieve 15 minutes of fame, yet she rarely opens up about her personal life. On Instagram, she tends to keep things professional, whether she’s posting ads for SmartWater (she’s a celeb spokesperson) or her LolaVie hair care line, or delighting the Friends fandom with a nostalgic video. In May, Aniston announced the air date for The Morning Show’s fourth season, where she reprises her role as broadcast journalist Alex Levy.
“We’re baaa-aaack September 17 ,” she posted alongside a photo of costars Reese Witherspoon, Karen Pittman and Marion Cotillard.
Jennifer Aniston Shares Sweet Photos From Friendsgiving With Courteney Cox
Earlier this year, she had a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in HBO’s The Last of Us, which featured Ellie (Bella Ramsey) flipping through an Aughts-era People magazine with Aniston on the cover. The headline: “Jennifer’s sexy nights.”
“Of all things to survive the apocalypse,” Aniston quipped in an Instagram Story in April.
She and Pedro Pascal, who stars on The Last of Us, are good friends.
“I would do anything for Jennifer,” Pascal, 50, told Extra in March, when asked about a potential cameo in The Morning Show, an AppleTV+ production.

“She is that person [who is good in a crisis],” Pascal revealed. “The best way that I could describe it is I remember, if you’re in a party setting and you make eye contact with Jen, she just knows exactly what’s going on with you and knows exactly how to make you feel.”
The actor joked that if “you’re really high at a party” and in danger of freaking out, Aniston will be there to help calm you down.
“Make eye contact with Jen Aniston and she’ll calm your central nervous system,” he added. “You’ll be like, ‘Oh no, everything’s fine. I’m safe.’”
