Amy Schumer just shared a glowing selfie, revealing she used “no filter” and “no filler.”
The actress, 43, posted the fresh-faced photo via her Instagram Stories and page on Saturday, January 25, writing, “What can I say It was a good night.”
When asked by a follower what made it such a good evening, Schumer responded in the comments section, “Good family time then got to perform with people I love and respect.”
Her post comes after Schumer opened up about her Cushing syndrome diagnosis during a “Call Her Daddy” podcast episode on Wednesday, January 22. (Cushing syndrome is a disorder caused by elevated cortisol in the blood, and leads to a swollen, red, round face.)
Schumer said she found out she had the disease after internet trolls pointed out her “puffy” face during a press tour last year. Some medical professionals chimed in, however, and that’s when she realized the puffiness might be a serious side effect.

She told host Alex Cooper, “They were, like, ‘No, no … something’s really up. Your face looks so crazy that we think something’s up.’”
Turns out she had Cushing, which she was diagnosed with in February 2024 — right before she started filming Kinda Pregnant, hitting Netflix on February 5.
“I was getting these steroid injections, and so it gave me this thing called Cushing syndrome; which I wouldn’t have known if the internet hadn’t come for me so hard,” she added. “I learned that I had something called ‘moon face,’ and I’m starring in a movie and there’s a camera in my face, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ I was feeling really down on myself before I started filming this movie.”
Schumer said director Lorraine Caffery “amp[ed] me up” and reassured her that she looked “f—ing great.” Turns out, her system “just had to work itself out” and her face is now, as seen in her latest selfie, radiant.
“Happy for you. You also look great,” Cheyenne Jackson commented, with Olivia Munn adding, “Pretttyyyy.”

After social media users insulted her appearance last year, Schumer told journalist Jessica Yellin for Substack’s News Not Noise column that diagnosing Cushing was no easy task and she feared for her future, as well as her son, Gene, 5, whom she shares with husband Chris Fischer.
“The shaming and criticism of our ever-changing bodies is something I have dealt with and witnessed for a long time,” she added. “I want so much for women to love themselves and be relentless when fighting for their own health in a system that usually doesn’t believe them.”

In an Instagram video shared on Sunday, January 26, Jackman concentrated on his jump rope ability as he moved from side to side and crossed his arms while skipping. Jackman, who rocked a tank top and shorts in the clip, smiled after he completed the task in the middle of the gym.
“So here’s the thing … my trainer Beth Lewis and I worked for months and months to get me remotely close to being ready to do this jump rope choreo on stage,” Jackman captioned the post. “She has the patience of a saint!!! And while I still messed up, I had a blast. And get to do it again 21 more times! Thank you @bethlewisfit #fromnewyorkwithlove @radiocitymusichall.”
Jackman debuted his moves during night one of his From New York, with Love at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Friday, January 24. The show was reportedly attended by his girlfriend, Sutton Foster, and Jackman’s pals, Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy.
Reynolds, who made a surprise appearance in the crowd for a “Hugh & A” session, gushed over his pal.
“Just like here, he knew every single person’s name, even though he was making them up half the time,” Reynolds, 48, told the crowd. “He showed a kind of courtesy and gentleness and curiosity, and he put value into every single crew member that we were working with.”
Reynolds called Jackman his “gotcha for life,” even though, he said, “I’m his second-best friend.”
Reynolds joked that “we were supposed to finish this bit where these two security gentlemen come and they try to take the mic [from] me — it’s like a struggle, and then they tase me and I go down, and then they hog-tie me and then they put me in the Radio City music garbage dump, and then they just light it on fire.”

Hailee Steinfeld is grateful that fiancé Josh Allen’s romantic proposal was immortalized on film.
“Over the past few years, Kat [Temkin] has photographed almost every big life moment: birthdays, work trips from London to Hong Kong, red carpets, and our ‘Beau Society’ launch party,” Steinfeld, 28, wrote in the Friday, January 24, edition of her newsletter. “Thank God (and Josh), that Kat was there on the day I got engaged.”
She added, “No one could have captured that moment like she did and I’ll cherish her photos forever.”
Allen, 28, proposed to Steinfeld in November 2024, popping the questions at a waterfront destination underneath a rose-covered archway. The Buffalo Bills quarterback also set up a slew of candles on the grounds.

Steinfeld and Allen have been together since Spring 2023 and the actress has often been seen supporting her soon-to-be husband at Bills games throughout the 2024-2025 season. After one year of dating, Allen proposed during his NFL bye week.
“I was very nervous. I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” he recalled in a previous edition of “Beau Society” published in December 2024. “It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then, multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”

If you’re anything like Us, you couldn’t get enough of the “Scamanda” podcast that dropped in May 2023. Luckily, there’s now an ABC docuseries of the same name that digs even deeper into the bizarre case.
Like the podcast, the Scamanda series will document the story of Amanda Riley, whose blog recounting her struggles with stage 3 blood cancer reached thousands of people. On the surface, Riley was an ordinary wife and mother devoted to her Christian faith. But when investigative producer Nancy Moscatiello received an anonymous tip about Riley, the facade began to crack.
“Soon, Amanda’s own words may prove to be her downfall,” the official synopsis for Scamanda teases.

Yes. The official teaser for the series features snippets of interviews from various people who believed Riley when she told them she had cancer. One participant calls her “a beloved young Christian woman fighting a battle undeserved.”
The trailer then documents the same community who rallied around Riley realizing that she wasn’t sick at all, and that their kindness had been taken advantage of.
“Thousands of people threw money at her,” one person recalls, while another notes that Riley’s loved ones “raised $100,000” to help pay for her treatments.
“What surprised me is the lengths that she went to to fake cancer,” another person says.
In Riley’s case, lying about having cancer was not just shocking, it was criminal. After asking for donations to cover medical expenses that did not exist, Riley pleaded guilty to wire fraud in 2021. She is currently serving a five year prison sentence.
Yes. Moscatiello, who turned an anonymous tip into a five-year investigation of Riley and served as an executive producer for the “Scamanda” podcast, can be seen in a trailer for the series and has posted about it via social media.
If you listened to the “Scamanda” podcast, you know it painted a detailed picture of Riley’s lies and how she maintained them: shaving her head to make it look like she was undergoing chemotherapy, staging convincing photos of herself in the hospital and even suing Moscatiello for defamation after learning about her investigation. The series will provide further information via new interviews from former friends of Riley, a neuropsychologist who sheds light on why certain people commit scams, and law enforcement officials and an IRS investigator who covered the case.
Scamanda also features communications between Riley and “Scamanda” podcast host Charlie Webster as well as materials that Moscatiello gathered during her investigation of Riley.
Riley shares two sons, Carter and Connor, with her husband, Cory Riley. Amanda dubbed her two children “miracles,” claiming that she shouldn’t have been able to deliver healthy babies while undergoing cancer treatment. Amanda and Cory are still married, and Cory has not been charged in connection with Amanda’s crimes.
The blog where Amanda fraudulently documented her cancer journey, titled “Lymphoma Can Suck It,” is no longer active and has been deleted from the internet. She wrote about her cancer experience online from 2012 to 2019 before being charged with wire fraud in 2020.
After an initial October 2024 premiere date was shelved due to scheduling conflicts related to Monday Night Football, the docuseries will now premiere on Thursday, January 30 at 9 p.m. ET 2025, with three additional episodes airing Thursdays. Episodes will be available to stream on Hulu.
After ABC added six Monday Night Football simulcasts to its previously announced lineup, the hidden camera series What Would You Do? was moved from Mondays to Wednesdays, taking Scamanda’s spot. Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and Press Your Luck were also pushed to 2025 due to the schedule change.

Rapper ASAP Rocky’s shooting trial just started, and lawyers are already weighing the potential influence his longtime partner Rihanna could have over the proceedings.
On Thursday, January 23, during jury selection and one day before lawyers delivered their opening statements, Deputy District Attorney John Lewin asked one prospective juror — a woman – if she would be able to deliver a guilty verdict to the defendant if Rihanna, 36, was present in court.
“What if Rihanna comes here to court, is it going to be hard for you to look over there and see the defendant’s family and deliver a guilty verdict?” Lewin asked the woman, as reported by the Associated Press.
According to the news outlet, the woman took a long pause before answering “yes.”

Rihanna was not in court on Thursday or Friday, January 24, when Rocky’s trial officially started. The 36-year-old rapper is charged with two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm related to a 2021 shooting incident in Hollywood. Rocky is accused of firing four or five shots at Terell Ephron, a childhood friend, who claims the shots “grazed his knuckles,” per the Associated Press.
Rocky has pleaded not guilty and his lawyers say he committed no crime. If convicted, he faces up to 24 years in prison.
According to the Associated Press, it took both the prosecution and the defense two and a half days to select a set of jurors from a “pool of more than a hundred candidates.” Per the outlet, a podcast editor and actor, as well as a man who has worked at Trader Joe’s for more than 20 years, made the final cut.
While Rihanna — who shares two kids, RZA and Riot Rose, with Rocky — has yet to make an appearance in court in support of her partner, Thomas Zizzo Jr., son of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, was present on Friday.

The Los Angeles police officer took the stand on day one of the Grammy award-winning rapper’s trial, testifying as one of the first law enforcement officers to arrive on the scene of the alleged 2021 shooting incident. According to TMZ, the officer reportedly “testified about what he saw at the scene when he arrived.”
Rihanna, who started dating Rocky in late 2019, has been relatively silent about her partner’s legal troubles. Still, she has remained by his side. In an April 2024 interview with Interview, she spoke candidly about their relationship.
“We’ve known each other for a long time. I’ve seen him in relationships. He’s seen me in relationships. We’ve seen each other outside of relationships,” she said at the time. “We knew what we’re capable of, and the trouble that we could bring to each other’s lives. We can make or break each other’s hearts. And so, we started dating with a lot of caution.”
While there was never a conversation about Jonathon Johnson potentially becoming the next Bachelor, he is happy for his good pal Grant Ellis.
“No, not a mention, not an ask, not a, ‘Hey, we’d love to sit you down for a conversation?’” Jonathon, 28, claimed on the Saturday, January 25, episode of the “Lightweights” podcast, referring to a perspective offer to lead the franchise. “Not once.”
Instead of Jonathon, the next Bachelor is Grant, whom Jonathon met on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette last year. Grant’s journey to finding “The One” kicks off on Monday, January 28.

“They’re phenomenal every year for whoever our lead is [and] making that decision on the final day is always a very, very difficult decision, but I can appreciate some of why Grant was so conflicted. I’ll just say that,” Jesse explained. “But absolutely without giving away too much, that was authentic and it’s real and it’s not an edit.”
Jesse further hinted that Grant seemed “very, very happy with how things ended” on his season.
“I know he’s really excited for everybody to watch this whole thing unfold. Grant’s a very easy guy to root for,” Jesse told Us. “I’m a fan of his and I know he’s a guy that’s been so successful in everything he’s done in his life outside of love [so far]. With Zach [Shallcross] and Joey [Graziadei], we’re kind of running this streak a little bit and I think we have a chance to keep this thing going, fingers crossed.”
Zach, 28, and Joey, 29, were the most recent Bachelors and are still engaged to their respective final rose picks: Kaity Biggar and Kelsey Anderson.
