Maggie Gyllenhaal Wore a $2200 Tie Made Out of Hair on the Red Carpet

Maggie Gyllenhaal took quirky fashion to another level.

Gyllenhaal, 47, showed off an avant-garde accessory while promoting her The Bride, which she directed, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday, April 1. She wore a black Schiaparelli suit from the Spring 2025 line, featuring a tailored blazer equipped with a gold key lock enclosure and straight-leg trousers for the occasion. She contrasted the look with a white dress shirt and a cherry red manicure.

The most head-turning part of her ensemble, however, was easily her $2200 Schiaparelli tie, which was fashioned out of a large lock of faux hair. The ombré tresses cascaded past her waist and were styled in a neat braid.

Gyllenhaal matched the accessory to her own brunette locks, which was parted to the side and styled in textured waves. The actress opted for soft makeup, matching her lipstick with her nails. She tied her glam together with soft brown eyeshadow, feathered eyebrows and a healthy swirl of blush.

While Gyllenhaal can effortlessly slay with an offbeat look, she has no shortage of soigné ensembles, too. In October 2024, she donned an elegant black gown by The Row at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. The knit design was equipped with a gold hoop neckline, cut-outs at the sleeves and a column skirt. Gyllenhaal chose effortlessly understated jewelry for the evening, including a simple gold bangle and emerald beaded earrings.

One year prior, she buttoned up in a Giorgio Armani three-piece suit at the 80th Venice International Film Festival. Her timeless ensemble was complete with a velvet vest, which exposed just the right amount of skin, a fitted blazer and sleek pants.

Jason and Travis Kelce’s Debate About Detaching Body Parts Is So on Brand

Jason and Travis Kelce got into the weeds about what body part of theirs they would like to make detachable.

“From Em, no dumb questions. If you could make one of your body parts detachable, which would it be and why?” Jason, 37, said on the Wednesday, April 2, episode of the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast. “It’s a very weird question Em.”

Jason encouraged Travis, 35, to answer first, prompting the Kansas City Chiefs player to take a minute to process the question before responding.

“I don’t know, maybe my ears so I wouldn’t have to hear people?” Travis responded, which Jason agreed would be a good option.

Why Kylie Kelce Says Jason Kelce Has a ‘Chicken Ass’

Travis went on to add that a detachable nose would be a good option, too.

“You’re going sense,” Jason noted. “If there’s mayonnaise in the area, you don’t want to smell that.”

Travis agreed, sharing that he didn’t want to smell that particular odor.

“I’m going senses though, I’m going ears or nose,” Travis said of his final answer.

Jason acknowledged that removing a person’s ears would be “nice,” especially when it was time for bed.

“[You’re] trying to get some shut-eye, trying to go to sleep, just take your ears off. Sleep tight,” he said.

However, Travis pointed out that waking up from a slumber could be an issue, and that he would need something in the room to jolt him awake. Then the conversation went off the rails when Jason added a new hypothetical into the mix.

“Alright, I’m just going to throw it out there. I mean if we’re being honest it usually just gets in the way,” Jason said joyfully without naming the body part. “It’s an inconvenient appendage at times … I mean I’m very happy I have one.”

Jason Kelce Hasn’t Washed His Hair in Months: 'Completely Unnecessary'

Travis picked up what his brother was putting down and asked if Jason was referring to “the ball and chain.”

“I think it’s a one-stop shop,” he countered. “I think it’s all one appendage”

Travis attempted to shut down Jason’s logic saying, “I don’t think that’s how it works.”

Jason, for his part, continued down his rabbit hole of male genitalia.

“If you could just take it all off it would eradicate … it just gets in the way sometimes. You know what I mean?” he explained. If you’re running, you gotta think there’d be less friction without that in between your legs to play sports.”

Travis cut in to point out he’s never had that issue, but Jason went further down the proverbial rabbit hole.

“If you could detach it, that means you could probably attach an upgraded one. I mean you could go bigger,” he said. “Assuming it is a universal connection point, I could attach another one.”

Travis erupted in laughter.

“You’re a f***ing psychopath man,” Travis said in between laughs. “I was waiting for you to make it make sense and you never disappoint.”

Jason called Intern Brandon to ask the Perplexity search engine to weigh in on what would be the best body part to make detachable. The result included practical options, like the appendix and tonsils, before offering creative options, like an arm, leg and head. The idea of a detachable head caught Jason’s attention, reminding him of Futurama.

“I wouldn’t mind that … why would I make my d**k detachable if I could just make my head detachable and put it on somebody with a bigger d**k,” he quipped.

Jason was then reminded of an old saying that their dad, Ed Kelce, used to tell them.

“What would Dad say? You’d lose your d**k if it wasn’t attached?” he asked. “I think that’s what he used to tell us.”

Travis agreed that he remembered hearing that from Ed back in the day.

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce's Most Supportive Quotes About Each Other

“Maybe that’s why I thought of this immediately.” Jason reflected. “You’re right dad, I don’t want this to be detachable cause I would definitely lose that motherf***er.”

After coming up with multiple scenarios where Jason could potentially lose the body part, he agreed making it detachable was not a good idea.

“Yeah, you’re right — we don’t want that to be detachable, it’s got to stay on,” he said. “I’m not responsible enough to have a detachable d**k.”

Kathy Griffin’s Long-Running 'Epic War' With Ellen DeGeneres Explained

Fellow comedy legends and TV stars Kathy Griffin and Ellen DeGeneres do not like each other.

Griffin says she finds DeGeneres to be “very naturally funny,” seeming to respect the former talk show host for her professional chops. But that’s where the compliments end.

Griffin opened up about the long-standing feud in a video for her YouTube channel, where she went back and looked at their first run-in in the 1990s.

“I have a loathing for her that is epic,” she said in the video, published Wednesday, April 1. “I know a lot of it is jealousy. I get it. She’s way more successful than I’ll ever be.”

Kathy Griffin Undergoes Vocal Cord Surgery Amid Battle With Lung Cancer

“You’re welcome, Ellen,” she continued. “That’s way nicer than anything you’ve ever said about me or ever will.”

The two have had more run-ins over the years, including a dispute over Griffin’s status on The Ellen Degeneres Show and an argument following the death of Joan Rivers.

Keep scrolling for a full breakdown of the Kathy Griffin and Ellen DeGeneres feud.

As Griffin explained, the trouble began when she guest-starred on her future adversary’s 1990s sitcom, Ellen. DeGeneres came into the table read for her episode and recognized Griffin from a commercial she had recently done for Kenmore Stereos.

In the ad, Griffin recited the lyrics to Wild Cherry’s “Play That Funky Music” in an understated, deadpan way. DeGeneres insisted she do it again at the table read.

“It was just off. It wasn’t said with, like, a fun spirit,” Griffin described. “If that was me and I was the star of the show, I just wouldn’t do that to somebody who’s like the day player…I felt like she was saying ‘dance, b****, dance.”

Eventually, Griffin recited the lyrics, only the joke didn’t work without her outfit and backup dancers. The rest of the cast and crew, some of whom had not seen the commercial, sat by in an awkward silence.

“You could hear a pin drop because I felt like the rest of the room was just going, ‘I don’t get what’s so special about this,’” she said. “[Ellen] then also kind of looked at me like, ‘what are you doing?’”

“If you know her, that is like who she is,” Griffin concluded. “She never was friendly after that. It was just rough.”

2007

In a March 2007 interview with W Magazine, DeGeneres denied Griffin’s claim that the comedian had been banned from her talk show.

“I know she had a big thing about wanting to be on the show, and we didn’t book her,” she said. “She did a whole thing that I banned her from the show. I didn’t ban her from the show, because first you have to be on the show to be banned.”

She eventually had Griffin on the show later that year, but called her “mean” during her opening monologue. Griffin later said she felt betrayed.

“I was in the dressing room like, ‘S**t! You’re another woman comic, c’mon!'” she told Us Weekly at the time.

Ellen DeGeneres’ Most Controversial Moments Over the Years

DeGeneres never liked comedian Joan Rivers’ brand of comedy, according to Griffin, because she felt the late comic was “too vulgar.” When Rivers died in 2014, Griffin reached out to DeGeneres hoping to get her help for a tribute.

“I just called her and I just said, ‘Look, woman to woman, comic to comic, I think you need to let go of your hatred for Joan Rivers. She’s passed away, just do a f—ing tribute, be cool,’” Griffin explained in a 2018 story for Variety.

When DeGeneres refused, allegedly saying, “there’s a difference between mean and funny,” Griffin fired back.

“That f***ing set me off,” she said. “So we had a fight in which I used inflammatory words like, ‘Look you f***ing untalented hack.’ … You know when you’re fighting with someone and you can kind of laugh at a point? Yeah, not that day.”

Griffin claims she later reached out to DeGeneres to apologize but received no response.

2016

Griffin published her book, Celebrity Run-Ins: My A-Z Index in 2016 and included a story that seemed to be about DeGeneres kicking her out of a dressing room at the Emmys.

“I’m almost positive a certain beloved daytime talk show host once had me kicked out of a backstage dressing room at the Emmy Awards.” she wrote: “I can’t prove it, but this person, who has short blonde hair, has a mean streak that all of Hollywood knows about.”

Griffin later told the Hollywood Reporter that an angry DeGeneres called her after the book was published.

“The only angry call I got was from Ellen DeGeneres, which is, by the way, not fun to get when you’re like, a female comic who loves her and her accomplishments,” she said in a December 2016 interview. “She was extremely upset, and I think she had a thought that she was going to, like, put me in my place, or whatever, but as you know I’m not shut-uppable.”

“We kind of got into it, and I’m not going to lie, after I hung up, I sobbed like a baby,” she admitted. “I admire her and, you know, it was a difficult conversation. But hey, it came with the territory.”

Glen Powell Plays Coy About Sydney Sweeney Attending Sister's Wedding

Glen Powell has seen the internet’s reaction to Sydney Sweeney attending his sister Leslie Powell’s wedding amid her split from fiancé Jonathan Davino.

“The wedding caused a little bit of a stir. Did that surprise you?” Jenna Bush Hager asked the Twisters star, 36, on the Wednesday, April 2, episode of Today With Jenna & Friends. Powell chuckled as he replied, “You know, timing is everything in this world, isn’t it?”

Though Glen didn’t specifically mention Sweeney’s recent split, he did drop her name while chatting about Leslie’s big day. “She and Syd are obviously great friends, and it was a hell of a wedding,” he shared. “The Powells know how to do it right, and so, all the people that love her were there.”

Powell went on to call his sister’s new husband, Thomas Gillespie, “the best guy” and revealed that he gave a speech during the wedding. “I’m a groomsman, but I think there were, sort of, I guess everybody sort of had other roles, but I’m like the master of ceremonies, I guess, at the wedding,” he explained to Bush Hager, 43, and her guest cohost, Olivia Munn.

Sydney Sweeney Says ‘Man of My Dreams’ Fiance Isn't 'SNL' Guest Glen Powell

Less than a week before Leslie’s Saturday, March 29, wedding, a source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that Sweeney and Davino, 41, had called off their spring nuptials after facing major issues,” some of which stemmed from Sweeney’s busy schedule.

Sweeney was spotted hanging out with Powell at a local Dallas restaurant during Leslie’s wedding weekend, per pics obtained by DeuxMoi on Sunday, March 30. However, another source exclusively clarified to Us that “there is nothing going on romantically between Glen and Syndey.”

The insider noted that Sweeney is “close friends” with Leslie and the Powell family and “brought one of her girlfriends to the wedding as a guest and she RSVP’d months ago.”

One day later, a separate source confirmed to Us that Sweeney and Davino had called it quits. “Sydney and Jonathan are officially split,” the insider shared on Monday, March 31. “[Sydney is] telling friends she is single.”

Sweeney got engaged to Davino after four years of dating in 2022 but famously sparked romance rumors with Powell while promoting their 2023 rom-com Anyone But You. The pair played up their chemistry but denied dating speculation, something which a source told Us back in May 2023 served as a “huge test” for Sweeny and Davino’s relationship.

Following Sweeney’s split news, Powell’s mother, Cyndy Powell, addressed the reignited chatter about her son and the Euphoria actress’ relationship status. “They’re definitely not together,” she told the Daily Mail on Monday, adding, “We love Sydney. We’ve considered her just a really, really good friend. We all were together so much, and we haven’t seen her in a long time. She’s a really good friend and we all enjoy her.”

While Sweeney sported a light blue dress at Leslie’s nuptials, she donned a wedding-inspired look while promoting her upcoming film The Housemaid at CinemaCon on Tuesday, April 1. She sported a silver metallic dress by the bridal brand Wiederhoeft but noticeably did not accessorize the look with her engagement ring.

Kathy Griffin Recalls Wanting to Get John Travolta 'Out of Scientology'

Kathy Griffin is recalling her interactions with John Travolta during her brief cameo in 1994’s cult classic Pulp Fiction.

“It’s still exciting, but it was so mind-blowing to just be, like, milling around to see Christopher Walken [on set],” Griffin, 64, said in a Tuesday, April 1, YouTube video. “I didn’t talk to him. I was too afraid to talk to him. … Anyway, it was just a wild party to be at. Like, Travolta was there.”

According to Griffin, she initially hoped to get insights from Travolta, 71, about his experience with the Church of Scientology.

“Of course, I wanted to ask him about Scientology and what it’s like to be a [member],” Griffin recalled. “I wanted to get him out of Scientology, but I was also telling myself the whole time I was at that party, ‘Don’t do it, Kathy. Do not go up to John Travolta and try to get him to leave Scientology. Quentin [Tarantino, the director] is not going to like that.’”

Celebrity Scientologists and Stars Who Have Left the Church

She added, “It was a big inner struggle, but I didn’t do it. There’s a little part of [me] now that regrets not doing it because that would have been, if nothing else, a very good chunk of my [stand-up] act.”

Griffin made a brief appearance as herself in Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, which starred Travolta and Uma Thurman. During that time, Travolta was a noted member of the Church of Scientology. The Grease actor joined the organization in 1975 when he was 21 years old.

Travolta later told Us Weekly exclusively in 2019 that Scientology helped him and wife Kelly Preston cope with their son Jett’s death in 2009. Jett, who was 16 years old, had suffered a fatal seizure. (Travolta and Preston, who died in 2020, also shared daughter Ella and son Benjamin.)

How Lisa Marie Presley Joined Scientology After Priscilla Met John Travolta

“The church never left our sides for two years,” Travolta exclusively told Us in January 2019. “I don’t know if I would have made it through without their support. Our church is the No. 1 thing that keeps us grounded.”

Travolta has also frequently defended Scientology as the religious organization has faced various criticisms over the years. During a 2015 appearance on Good Morning America, the actor called his religion “misunderstood.”

“You know, people really need to take time and read a book … that’s my advice,” Travolta said on GMA. “You could read New Slant on Life or Dianetics, and I think if you really read it, you’ll understand it. But unless you do, you’ll speculate, and I think it’s a mistake to do that.”

Juliana Claps Back at Comment About Litia’s Connection With Bachelor Grant

Juliana Pasquarosa is firing back at a hater reminding her of fiancé Grant Ellis’ connection with Litia Garr on The Bachelor.

“Hey remember when Grant said on television ‘Should I just stop right now and pick litia?’” one user commented on Juliana’s Tuesday, April 1, TikTok. Juliana, 28, replied, “Hey so this is a really odd thing to take time of out your day to type.. hope that helps!!!! 🫡.”

In Juliana’s video, she lipsynced and danced to No Doubt’s “Just a Girl.” She wrote over the video, “When u have to stay in separate hotels from your fiancé bc the world doesn’t know ur together yet.”

Grant, 31, took to the comments section to write, “I can’t waittttttttt 🤘🏾💜💜.”

Ahead of the season 29 finale of The Bachelor, Grant dropped the L-bomb to Litia, 31, and questioned whether he should end the show because of his declaration of love.

“I think the maturity that you bring is big. I like the ground that you stand on, and I know where your priorities are, and I know what’s important to you, it’s what you are on the inside that I can see myself with you,” Grant told Litia. “And see you as my wife, because I do love you.”

In the finale episode, Grant told Juliana he was in love with her and appeared torn between his final two. He eventually sent home Litia, who appeared blindsided by the split, and told Grant that she would have “a lot of questions” if she were Juliana based on what the lead had said. While the exes reunited at the live portion of the episode in March, Litia said she was “glad” that the events were not a part of her “love story.”

While recalling the comments, Grant exclusively told Us Weekly after the finale that there was “a lot” that he “didn’t align with” when it came to Litia’s perspective.

Charity Lawson Thinks Grant and Litia Are ‘Strong’ — And Juliana Is ‘Safe’

“I’m not gonna sit up there and argue with her on stage about what she thought I said. But I think that having a little more clarity — when you are the Bachelor, you do see your final two contestants as somebody that could be your wife,” he told Us. “That’s where some confusion came into play. There’s room for interpretation when things are said, ‘off camera.’ At that point in time, I can’t really say much. I’m not gonna argue, I just have to accept whatever the conditions are and apologize and let her feel how she feels because she’s in a tough situation and she’s hurt. I understand.”

Juliana, who accepted a proposal from the lead in the Bachelor season finale, was upset with Litia for name-dropping her in the breakup with Grant.

“I think that that was uncalled for,” Juliana said on the Tuesday episode of “The Viall Files” podcast of the comment Litia made. “Then to continue to make kind of those jabs on stage, saying she is glad that this isn’t a part of her love story and that she deserves a man that’s not so confused up until the last second, when Grant and I know the reality of it and that was strictly a jab at me, I think that those things took me back.”

She continued, “I want her to be supported. I’m not saying by any means that I don’t want her to feel like she has a girl gang behind her lifting her up because I can’t imagine what it’s like to get to that point and maybe have your heart and your ego bruised. But I think at the end of the day, I had relations with a lot of the girls, and at no point were they making digs at him or our relationship. Where now it’s like, maybe that’s a platform that’s being used for whatever purpose it is, but it’s hurtful and it’s not anything I want to surround myself with at any point in my life.”

Haley Joel Osment Reveals He Is Living With Sister Emily After L.A. Fires

While Haley Joel Osment was displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires, he is grateful he now gets to spend more time with sister — and current roommate — Emily Osment.

“Because I lost my house in the fires, I’ve been living with her for the past a couple months,” Haley Joel, 36, exclusively told Us Weekly while attending the Poker Face panel at PaleyFest on Saturday, March 29. “So she’s been very generous and helping me out there. She’s fantastic.”

Haley Joel has enjoyed getting to cohabit with Emily, 33, as they focus on their careers, adding, “She’s great. Her show [Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage] is just wrapping up season 1 right now. Great community of people there.”

While the siblings have leaned on each other off screen, they have yet to showcase their bond in front of the cameras Haley Joel acknowledged how long fans have waited in the hope that he would share a scene with Emily in any of their individual projects.

Hollywood's Most Memorable Celebrity Siblings Over the Years

“It’s funny that we have never had a scene together on screen,” he quipped to Us. “We were both in The Kominsky Method and we were in a wedding scene together — but we didn’t have any interaction. I know something will happen eventually because she’s great and I’m so proud of everything she’s done.”

Both of the Osment siblings got their start as child stars, with Haley Joel appearing in Forrest Gump and The Sixth Sense before his more recent opportunities, like Blink Twice and season 2 of Wednesday. Emily, for her part, was on Hannah Montana before transitioning to more mature projects, including Young & Hungry and now Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.

Despite not working together yet, Emily and Haley Joel haven’t ruled it out as a future possibility. They are currently focused on their own projects though, with Emily’s CBS sitcom being renewed for a second season amid her split from now-ex-husband Jack Anthony and Haley Joel making a guest appearance on Peacock’s Poker Face.

“I’ve had the opportunity several times to go on a show that I had just enjoyed as a fan. What We Do in the Shadows is like that, too. You watch the first season and then a couple of weeks later you’re like, ‘Oh, I’m on the set now,'” Haley Joel told Us. “That is kind of a fun experience. But I love Natasha [Lyonne]’s work and everybody involved with this show is so cool. I love a murder mystery and gory stuff, too. It’s cool being a part of that atmosphere.”

Most Memorable TV Siblings Through the Years

Haley Joel’s upcoming episode pairs him off with Taylor Schilling and Justin Theroux, which he teased to Us, saying, “Everybody was great. We had a really fun lineup in our episode and getting to work with Natasha after watching her and all of her work for all these years is just really exciting because she’s such a creative person.”

He concluded: “I play a social media influencer entrepreneur bro who is getting married but he’s using the wedding to advertise an energy drink he just came up with. He’s kind of on thin ice with the rest of the wedding party.”

Poker Face season 2 premieres on Peacock Thursday, May 8.

Jinger Duggar Explains Why She Hasn't Considered Nursing 3rd Baby

Jinger Duggar’s anxieties surrounding motherhood have affected her decision to breast-feed her newborn son.

“We have a four-year age gap between Evie and this little boy because I was not ready,” Duggar, 31, said on the Wednesday, April 2, episode of her and husband Jeremy Vuolo’s eponymous podcast. “I think postpartum for me with Evie was hard. It was really hard. Once I think I was about 14 months or so, I was still nursing and it was something that I just felt, like, I was in a dark hole and I didn’t know what to do.”

Jinger, one of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children, and husband Vuolo, 37, are parents of three. They share daughters Felicity, 6, and Evangeline, 4, and son Finnegan, who was born late last month.

While Jinger navigated what she said was a bout of postpartum depression, several of her friends advised her to stop nursing  Evangeline.

“When I did, it just felt like I came out of this dark cloud that I’ve been in for so long,” the Counting On alum recalled. “You saw it.”

Vuolo, for his part, noted that his wife “was struggling” before weaning Evangeline.

“I don’t think you knew the cause [of your postpartum depression] and I don’t know the dimensions of it,” Vuolo added. “When you did [stop nursing], it was, like, [instantaneous].”

Jinger replied that she felt “so overwhelmed” with the concept of continuing to nurse her second daughter.

“I was like, ‘I’m just done,’” she recalled. “I didn’t know how to do the weaning process because I was already in such a dark hole, but then just talking to a couple friends [and] my pediatrician gave me suggestions and it actually went smoothly. She had the easiest transition [and] she started taking a pacifier at 14 months.”

According to Jinger, she hadn’t initially “considered” nursing to be part of the reason for her postpartum depression. Once she did realize its apparent contribution to her mental health struggles, the former reality TV star was able to navigate certain feelings better while pregnant with Finn. (Jinger filmed Wednesday’s podcast episode before giving birth.)

“Realizing that about yourself and then working past it, that’s helpful,” Jinger said. “Even with this pregnancy, there’s a certain fear that comes back [and] that starts to creep in where I’m like, ‘Oh, now, this is going to happen again and [I’m] going back to that dark place’ where you’re just so down. I never want to be back there again.”

Jinger has also come to terms with the realization that she might not be able to nurse Finn.

“Of course I want to be able to nurse this baby, but if that doesn’t happen [and] if I need to pump instead and that’s just what I have to do to not [go] back into that postpartum depression then that might be what I need to do,” she said.

Kelly Clarkson's Daughter Hilariously Bosses Her Around: 'Go to Break'

Kelly Clarkson’s daughter is cementing her place in the family business.

On Wednesday, April 2, Clarkson’s 10-year-old daughter, River Rose, joined her mom on the set of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

While her younger brother, 8-year-old Remi, stole the show last year singing Frank Sinatra tunes, River had other plans in mind.

River wasn’t just a member of the audience. Instead, she shadowed one of the show’s producers, Alex Duda, becoming the “mini producer.”

Fully prepared with her own headset and clipboard, River stood behind the producer podium alongside Duda and helped her mom navigate the taping of the episode.

“My daughter is here today,” she told the audience before noticing that River was dressed identical to Duda.

“Oh my God, you have a mic and everything. You’re so fancy,” Clarkson gushed. “Oh, my God, I love it. You’re like a little mini producer. They didn’t even plan it, but look, you have to come out. Show them what you look like.”

In addition to the matching headsets, River and Duda also happened to wear similar outfits with dark leggings and light pink sweaters over white collared shirts — something they didn’t intentionally plan. “They just happened to wear the same thing,” the host told the audience.

“So she’s been to all the meetings this morning like an adult,” Clarkson, 42, said as she continued to brag about River. “Yes, she’s very professional.”

In a snippet of the upcoming episode, Clarkson is seen talking with her guest, comedian Whitney Cummings, who shared that River knows how to push her mom’s buttons.

“OK, so I was interrogating River earlier,” Cummings shared. “I said, ‘What’s the thing that annoys your mom the most?’”

“What do you think it is?” Cummings asked Clarkson.

“Is it when she calls me Kelly?” Clarkson asked as Cummings enthusiastically confirmed Clarkson got it right.

In response to Clarkson, River shared her quick wit, saying, “Mommy should be in break.”

“I got a leader. She’s gonna rule the world one day, y’all,” an impressed Clarkson told the audience. “All right, we need a quick break, apparently.”

In 2023, while a guest on Today, Clarkson admitted that she hoped her kids, both of whom she shares with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, wouldn’t want to get involved in the music industry.

“I mean, I’m not going not push,” she said at the time. “I’m not the parent — whatever you want to do, it’s hard for me to sit here and go, ‘Don’t do this because it’s a hard industry,’ because I’m in it. But, I do think kids that grow up in it, it’s hard for them not to be inspired by it or want to be a part of it. So I kind of understand it if they do.”

“But also,” she said, half-jokingly, “be a teacher, or a doctor, or anything else.”

It seems like the television industry may be more River’s vibe.
