The Knicks were built to take multiple bites at this apple. They aren’t one-hit wonders, and shouldn’t be going forward. That’s the idea, anyway.

At the end of those road, when the pressure is most lethal and the unfriendly confines of a foreign gym are supposed to get in your head and stay there, the Knicks have emerged unscathed every time.

The Knicks unplugged Celtics fans. Halfway to one of the biggest upsets in franchise history. Halfway to the conference finals. They left silence in their wake. I wish you could’ve heard it.

This was another Knicks team that had rousted the imagination of its fans, another one tasked with a difficult ask.

The Knicks still haven’t played an A-plus game, and yet they’re 5-2 in the playoffs and 4-0 on the road. It does make you wonder what might happen if they ever do.
