“Incredibly sad to hear about Michelle’s passing,” Ashmore, 45, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, February 26, sharing a throwback red carpet image of the pair. “She was an incredible person and I will always remember the years we spent together fondly.”
He added, “She was loving, quirky and would never pass up a Law and Order: SVU marathon. My condolences to her mother Lana and sister Irene. This is an incredible loss!”
Ashmore dated Trachtenberg in the early 2000s amid their respective teen careers. While Ashmore was best known for his roles in Cadet Kelly, The Animorphs and 2000’s X-Men, Trachtenberg famously appeared on the likes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gossip Girl and Harriet the Spy.
Us Weekly confirmed earlier on Wednesday that Trachtenberg had been found dead inside her New York City apartment at the age of 39. An investigation is ongoing and a cause of death has not been revealed.

“It is with great sadness to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away,” a rep for the actress told Us in a statement. “The family requests privacy for their loss. There are no further details at this time.”
Trachtenberg is survived by parents Michael and Lana, as well as her sister, Irene, and her boyfriend, Jay Cohen. News broke in October 2020 that the Ice Princess star was dating her Gersh talent agent and they remained together at the time of her death.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to the man who sits still long enough for me to paint his face,” she gushed via Instagram earlier in February, sharing a throwback Halloween image.
Two decades earlier, Trachtenberg dated Ashmore. They were together from 2004 to 2006.

“Well, I put out an ad in the classifieds: Wanted, superhero. I’m a damsel in distress. No, we just met, which is funny, knowing Shawn, he hates anything publicity,” Trachtenberg joked to BlackFilm in March 2005. “He’s so not into that world. We met at an Oscar party and he was just, like, Mr. Grumpy unhappy to be out in public and I totally approached him.”
She added, “I was the forward one, I take full credit and actually, we’ve been together a year.”
Ashmore, who has recently been on TheRookie, eventually moved on with Dana Wasdin and they tied the knot in 2012. Together, they share son Oliver.
Many fans have speculated that Love Is Blind star Brittany Dodson subtly spoiled the results of the season 8 dating experiment.
“Who would’ve thought?! Can’t believe it’s been over a year! From the Big Apple to the Mini-Apple, y’all have made this journey so much more interesting,” Brittany, 35, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, February 23. “In the words of my mama, ‘You always doing something’ … and honestly, this something was worth it — for the most part, haha. Love y’all!”
Brittany, who was notably involved in a pod love triangle with Devin Buckley and Virginia Miller, uploaded a carousel of 20 photos post-show. In a group picture of members of the cast, eagle-eyed fans wondered if there was a telling sign that two couples are still together.
In one corner of the image, Mason Horacek wrapped his arms around Meg Fink as they beamed for the camera. The pair were involved in a love triangle with Madison Errichiello before all three left single. In a trailer for the Friday, February 28, batch of episodes, Mason, 33, and Meg, 31, were spotted holding hands while entering a cast party.
Moving further down Brittany’s aforementioned image, Taylor Haag was seen sitting on Daniel Hastings’ lap. The pair got engaged sight unseen in season 8 before alleged Instagram activity threatened to ruin their post-pod getaway to Honduras. Taylor, 32, was adamant that Daniel, 30, followed her account before the experiment and, thus, knew exactly what she looked like. He denied the claims and they swept any doubt under the rug.
Up until the finale, Taylor and Daniel’s romance has continued to go smoothly. Whether they make it down the aisle still remains to be seen in forthcoming episodes.

While it’s not known when Brittany’s photo was taken — she has not addressed the fan theories — there is another clue that it could be recent. Kylie Schuelke and Brian Sumption posed next to one another in the shot. They had also found love in the season 8 pods but weren’t shown in any of the episodes.
“From the pods to reality—what a journey,” Kylie, 28, and Brian, 30, wrote in a joint Instagram post earlier this month. “Grateful for every moment, every lesson, and everyone I met along the way. Love Is Blind—you were a wild, unforgettable ride.”
Love Is Blind was not able to follow all of the pairs who found a relationship during the experiment. They opted to focus on five engaged pairs — Daniel and Taylor, Devin and Virginia, Joey Leveille and Monica Danús, Dave Bettenburg and Lauren O’Brien, Ben Mezzenga and Sara Carton — and the two love triangles.
“I talked to Ben for 20 [or] 30-plus hours [in the pods]. You literally talk about everything under the sun. You talk about family, you talk about all your interests, your background,” Sara, 29, exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this week about her experience. “I did talk about values, which is shown basically for every conversation that we had, which is fine. We just had good banter. We were able to make each other laugh so easily. And honestly, every time I walked into the room and I heard his voice, I instantly smiled and my heart felt warm. It just felt like, overall, a really great connection. I love that we were able to talk about everything.”
Love Is Blind is currently streaming on Netflix. New episodes drop weekly.
Nick Viallis grateful for his late-in-life dyslexia diagnosis.
“When I was a kid, you didn’t know about dyslexia or talked about dyslexia,” Viall, 44, said on the Wednesday, February 26, episode of his “Viall Files” podcast. “If you found out you were dyslexic, you weren’t telling people. It’s something you would have definitely gotten picked on [for].”
The former Bachelor ultimately received his diagnosis in adulthood.
“I was like, ‘Why can’t I read out loud very well?’” Viall recalled. “I could never figure it out. I was like, ‘I’m not stupid.’ … [I was] in my 30s. I didn’t really change anything. I didn’t take any classes to help me read better aloud.”
He continued, “I felt a little seen, not to sound corny. I’m a big believer in, like, I don’t like to lean into my weaknesses, but I think it’s nice to know what they are. I don’t have to make excuses for anything, it’s just [that] I’m dyslexic.”
While Viall never leads with his learning difficulties, he noted that it’s “nice to know” why he often struggled in class growing up and at certain media events.
“Now I know why I had no idea how many vowels were in a word or why I have a hard time reading a teleprompter when everyone makes it look so easy [and] it’s so hard for me,” Viall said. “After I found out, people were telling me all the very talented, very successful people who are dyslexic.”

Viall’s wife, Natalie Joy, chimed in to share that the first book he ever bought their daughter was called Dyslexic Legends.
“I bought it for myself,” Viall corrected. “We were at a kid’s store and I bought it for me. I’ll read it to her someday and tell her about dad.”
The Dyslexic Legends, written by Beck Feiner, is an alphabetic book listing all the famous stars from Albert Einstein to Pablo Picasso, who navigated dyslexia amid their respective successful careers. Viall and Joy, 26, picked up the book in honor of daughter River Rose.
“The fastest a year has gone by ,” they captioned a joint Instagram post on February 2. “Happy 1st birthday to our sweet girl, River Rose. You’re a dream come true.”
Viall and Joy started dating in 2019 after the former nurse slid into his Instagram DMs. Viall proposed in January 2023 before they wed in April 2024.

An official cause of death has not been confirmed, with a police source telling Us that it’s “not yet apparent.”
Several hours after Lana discovered Trachtenberg’s body, another insider revealed that a medical examiner left the premises. Nothing was loaded into the vehicle, which drove off followed by a car belonging to two police officers.
“On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at approximately 0801 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided individual at 1 Columbus Place, within the confines of the Midtown North Precinct,'” local law enforcement officers told the Daily Mail in a statement. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 39-year-old female unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased. Criminality is not suspected. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing.”

“Michelle always seemed happy, I never noticed anything off about her at all,” Rafael Williams, who lived above Trachtenberg, exclusively told Us. “I didn’t know her personally, but she always made a point to say ‘Hi’ in the elevator. It’s shocking to me because she didn’t seem to have a problem in the world. I just hope her family is OK.”
Neighbor Ariana Rodriguez also reflected on her own relationship with Trachtenberg.
“She wasn’t loud and smiled at everyone in the hallways,” Rodriguez recalled. “I saw her with her boyfriend a few times and they were always walking either hand-in-hand or with his arm around her. I’m so sad that I won’t be seeing her anymore in the building. She always said ‘Hi’ to me.”
“I had the benefit of being able to watch Matthew my whole life before that movie started,” Efron recalled in a December 2023 interview with Variety. “It’s not like we hammered home how to do the jokes or the character. I had to make it true to myself and be able to make it happen. But there’s those things that Matthew Perry just invented. The way he kind of just brought humor to camera, they’re like ingrained in me. I think they’re a huge part of why I’m here, is comedic timing from Matthew Perry for years and years and years.”
He added, “I could kind of go through a scene in my mind and be like, ‘Oh, he’d definitely do this, oh, he’d definitely do that.’ That was really all it took — that, and putting yourself in your dad’s shoes, which was really crazy.”
In 17 Again, Mike O’Donnell (Perry) is on the precipice of divorce when he gets the chance to relive his high school glory days. After a magical occurrence, Mike is suddenly younger (played by Efron) as he goes back to high school — this time alongside his own children.
Before playing the teen version of Mike, Efron got his big break playing Troy Bolton in Disney Channel’s High School Musical trilogy. His acting credits also include Hairspray, Charlie St. Cloud, The Greatest Showman, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile and The Iron Claw. Efron also appeared alongside his younger brother, Dylan, in their joint Netflix docuseries Down to Earth, which premiered in 2020.
Efron has had a star-studded dating history, starting with his HSM costar Vanessa Hudgens. He was later linked to Lily Collins, Michelle Rodriguez, Sami Miró, Sarah Bro, Halston Sage and Vanessa Valladares.
Perry, the adult version of Mike, started acting on shows like Growing Pains and Beverly Hills, 90210 before getting his big break on NBC’s Friends as the sarcastic Chandler Bing. In addition to 10 seasons on Friends, Perry landed roles in films and TV series including Fools Rush In, The Whole Nine Yards, Studio 60, The Odd Couple and more.
Perry was romantically linked to Tricia Fisher, Julia Roberts, Gabrielle Allan, Jamie Tarses, Lizzy Caplan and Lauren Graham. In 2020, he proposed to Molly Hurwitz after four years of dating, but they eventually split.

Trachtenberg played Maggie, the daughter of Scarlet and Mike. She previously made her film debut in 1996’s Harriet the Spy and later acted in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, EuroTrip and Ice Princess. His notable acting credits include How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, A Guy Thing, Taxi, Night at the Museum, We’re the Millers, Dog Days, Reno 911! and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. Gaffigan played the school basketball coach in both timelines. The Grammy-nominated comedian has also appeared in Bob’s Burgers, Unfrosted, Peter Pan & Wendy, Linoleum and his eponymous The Jim Gaffigan Show.
Jim and his wife, Jeannie Gaffigan, got married in 2003. They share five children.
Harriet (Michelle Trachtenberg) is a precocious sixth-grader who’s destined to be a super-sleuth. She records all sorts of suspicious activity in her private notebook along with a running list of observations about everyone she knows. It all seems like harmless fun until one of her classmates finds her journal and exposes the middle schooler’s inner thoughts to the entire school. As everyone turns against her, Harriet resolves to exact revenge.
“I turned 10 years old on the first day of principal photography of Harriet this Spy,” Trachtenberg recalled to Entertainment Tonight in October 2021. “Rosie [O’Donnell] was my biggest supporter … There was a lot required of me. I’m extremely grateful for the experience.”
“When I do look at social media, which is challenging, [I see] them coming in with, ‘You inspired my life. You made me become a writer,'” Trachtenberg told ET. “All of those, just beautiful things.”

“I turned 10 years old on the first day of principal photography of Harriet the Spy. Rosie was my biggest supporter,” Trachtenberg recalled toEntertainment Tonight in 2021. “There was a lot required of me. I’m extremely grateful for the experience.”
After Harriet, Trachtenberg continued acting with roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ice Princess, 17 Again and Gossip Girl. On Gossip Girl, Trachtenberg notably portrayed Georgina Sparks. While the CW drama went off the air in 2012, the actress remained tight with her fellow Upper East Siders.
“Leighton [Meester] and I actually had dinner not too long ago, and she’s also a mother,” Trachtenberg told Us Weekly and other reporters in February 2020. “I think it’s just amazing what they’ve all accomplished.”
Three years later, Trachtenberg even made a cameo on HBO Max’s rebooted version of Gossip Girl.
While Trachtenberg began her career with bit roles on Clarissa Explains It All, Law & Order and All My Children, it was Harriet the Spy that marked her film debut. Based on the book of the same name, Trachtenberg played the namesake sixth grader. In the film, Trachtenberg’s Harriet records suspicious activity and a running list of observations in a private notebook. When the journal is discovered by one of Harriet’s classmates, the whole school is resolved to turn against her.
Trachtenberg landed the role of Buffy’s sister, Dawn Summers, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Even after the series wrapped in 2003, Trachtenberg remained close with show star Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Trachtenberg’s character, Georgina Sparks, arrived on Gossip Girl shrouded in mystery as the party-going friend of Serena Van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) intent on serving up revenge. Georgina stuck around the show for the remainder of the six seasons, even briefly taking over the Gossip Girl mantle.
Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in October that Trachtenberg had been dating her Gersh Agency talent agent, Jay Cohen, for more than one year.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to the man who sits still long enough for me to paint his face,” she later gushed via Instagram in February 2025, sharing a throwback Halloween portrait of the pair.
Trachtenberg reprised her Gossip Girl role on the HBO Max reboot, where it was revealed that Constance Billard teacher Kate Keller (Tavi Gevinson) had been kidnapped by Georgina’s crew and taken to Dan and Serena’s penthouse. (In the OG series finale, Dan and Serena tied the knot.)
“They fired their staff when they thought someone was breaking in,” Georgina joked. “At first, they thought it was the doorman. But when they kept coming home to this [breaks glass vase], they put cameras everywhere. I had my son loop the image. So now, they're bringing in a paranormal expert. They have no idea I'm their poltergeist.”
After Trachtenberg and fellow actress Alexa PenaVega posed together at a hair salon, fans questioned Trachtenberg’s health.
“Explain to me how I look sick,” Trachtenberg shot back via Instagram in January. “Did you lose a calendar and not realize I’m not 14. I’m 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment.”
Trachtenberg further reiterated that she was “happy and healthy.”
“I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters,” she said. “Fun fact. This is my face. Not malnutrition. No problems. Why do you have you hate? Get a calendar.”
News broke one year later that Trachtenberg had died. A cause of death has not been revealed.
Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrerodied suddenly in February 2025 at the age of 34.
Guerrero’s younger sister, Gris, confirmed her sibling’s passing that same month by launching a GoFundMe campaign in his honor.
“It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more,” the description reads. “Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top. Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly.”
According to Gris, their family is “taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home.”
Guerrero worked with clients including Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez, as well as other A-Listers. Jenner even offered to pay for his funeral expenses.
“When this GoFundMe was set up we created it thinking we would have to take care of all the expenses ourselves,” Gris added in a February 25, 2025, update on GoFundMe. “We didn’t want to burden any clients with this. Our family deeply appreciates Kylie for later offering to cover funeral expenses and offering up all her help and support. Donations raised through this fundraiser will go toward the costs associated with securing his belongings home. As well as other unexpected expenses to settle his assets.”

Gris published her GoFundMe fundraiser on February 22, 2025, noting at the time that the hairstylist had recently and “suddenly” died.
Where Was Jesus Guerrero When He Died?
A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Guerrero had traveled to Dubai with client Lopez when he unexpectedly got sick. While battling his then-undisclosed illness, Guerrero returned to Los Angeles and was admitted to a local hospital.
“Everyone on his team did everything they could to get him to the doctors because he was not well,” Guerrero’s sister, Gris, exclusively explained to Us. “They told him he was not going to work, he should see a doctor and rest. And he wanted to come home.”
She added, “We have his paperwork from the hospital [in Dubai] and it was a very long flight and a lot in between and going on [to] the hospital [in the U.S.]. That’s part of why we are looking into his health more with what happened. As soon as he showed up [in Dubai], he was told you don’t look well, to sit down and rest. And if he didn’t get well, to go back to the hospital. [They told him], ‘We want you to take care [of] yourself.’”
An official cause of death has not been confirmed.
Gris, for her part, told Us that there were still “unanswered questions” about the circumstances surrounding her brother’s passing.
“We have been able to track every one of his steps, but we don’t know what got him sick or what was [the] sickness,” Gris explained. “It all happened suddenly and no one knows why. … That’s part of why there are so many unanswered questions because nothing they had done was able to prevent this from happening.”
Kylie Jenner Is Helping With Funeral Expenses

The insider, meanwhile, told Us that Jenner was “beyond devastated” by Guerrero’s death and even offered to pay for his funeral.
“She has offered to pay for all of Jesus’s funeral expenses and she is having his body transported to Houston for the funeral,” the source said.
What Has Jesus Guerrero’s Celeb Clients Said About His Death?

Many of Guerrero’s clients have been vocal about honoring his memory in the days following his passing.
“Jesus was more than my friend — he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,” Jenner wrote, in part, via Instagram. “I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter. Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend. The pain of losing you is just unbearable.”
Lopez, for her part, noted in her own Instagram tribute that she was “brokenhearted” by Guerrero’s death.
“It’s no surprise your mother gave you the name Jesus. You were gentle and kind and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful, and your presence was felt the minute you walked into any room,” Lopez wrote. “You never demanded the spotlight. You never needed to make a sound to be recognized, your heart and your talent did that as effortlessly as you artistry did.”
The singer added, “I’m still in shock that such a beautiful young life has come to an end. It seems senseless and unfair. I know your family is brokenhearted as am I and everyone else who knew you. Your spirit moved on to the next phase beyond this life but I know wherever you are there is beauty and light. And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever.”
The singer had long relied on alcohol to help her cope with traumas in her past. Her dependence came to a head in October 2017 when she failed to show up for her kids — Maxwell, Ace and Birdie, whom she shares with estranged husband Eric Johnson — on Halloween. (Simpson and Johnson announced their split in January 2025 following 10 years of marriage.)
“I honestly couldn’t even tell you who got them ready. I was just dazed and confused, and I just wanted to go to sleep,” Simpson said during a January 2020 interview on Today. “I didn’t take them trick-or-treating. I didn’t show up for my family. I took the picture and I made the world think that I showed up.”
The next day, Simpson pledged to quit drinking and start working with a therapist. “I just realized that I had to surrender,” she told Today host Hoda Kotb. “I just want to continue on the path that I’m on, and at this point in my life, I’m strong enough to deal with anything that comes my way. Because I don’t have something to retreat to that will numb me from actually going through it.”

“I had started a spiral and I couldn’t catch up with myself … and that was with alcohol,” Simpson told Kotb on Today. “Every day I would say it, ‘I’ll stop soon. I’ll cut back.’”
The fashion designer further explained that she initially didn’t realize that she had a “problem” with drinking. “I completely didn’t recognize myself,” she said. “I always had a glitter cup. It was always filled to the rim with alcohol. I just realized that I had to surrender. It was time. I had to give it up and I was ready. I’m not going to miss another day. … I’m going to be present.”

February 2020
Simpson revealed to Buzzfeed News’ AM to DM that she already had a conversation with her eldest kids Maxwell and Ace about her addiction struggles “because I knew that kids at school would talk about it.”
“With my children, they know Mommy doesn’t drink wine because it makes her too silly,” she continued. “But for me, alcohol never made me mean. People didn’t know that I had a problem — they knew that towards the end it was getting to be too much, that I was not being myself and I wasn’t present in a room. … So, when I explained it to my kids they really understood that Mommy is just living her best life!”
“I took each pill like a magic potion because it freed me,” she wrote. “I was able to sleep in my own bed, or a bed on the road, without needing [my sister], Ashlee. I didn’t think I was dependent. In fact, those pills actually helped me feel independent.”

Prior to writing Open Book, Simpson had started flipping through her old diaries and realized “how much stuff I haven’t really dealt with,” she said on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.
“I was also looking at the girl that I was and the perspective that I had and I really missed that person. And so, within that is when I started to spiral with the drinking and trying to numb things,” Simpson added. “Then, I realized it was stuff I actually needed to talk about and face.”
“People are like, ‘Don’t you want to drink during this pandemic? Oh, my God, aren’t your kids driving you crazy?’” Simpson said on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Showof being locked down amid the COVID-19 health crisis. “I’m like, ‘No, I do not want to drink,’ like, I have not wanted it. I feel like that’s a big blessing. Once I surrendered and gave it over I never looked back, and my husband did it with me, so that support was amazing.”

Exactly four years after Simpson gave up alcohol, she shared an “unrecognizable” photo of herself.
“I had so much self-discovery to unlock and explore. I knew in this very moment I would allow myself to take back my light, show victory over my internal battle of self-respect, and brave this world with piercing clarity,” she wrote via Instagram. “Personally, to do this I needed to stop drinking alcohol because it kept my mind and heart circling in the same direction and, quite honestly, I was exhausted. I wanted to feel the pain so I could carry it like a badge of honor. I wanted to live as a leader does and break cycles to advance forward — never looking back with regret and remorse over any choice I have made and would make for the rest of my time here within this beautiful world.”

“The most important thing I have learned through the last 5yrs without alcohol being a guard for escapism is that I CAN and ALWAYS WILL get through it,” Simpson wrote via Instagram on her sober anniversary. “I am capable of pretty much anything I care enough about to put my mind to. I am present. I am deeply inspired. I am determined. I am honest. I care about other people.”

After releasing her first single in more than a decade, Simpson said that getting sober completely changed the way she approaches making music. “The moment I started drinking too much was when I started writing music in 2016 and it was making me go to places and feel sorry for myself,” she told People. “I don’t know why I wanted to feel sorry for myself other than the alcohol was lying to me and saying, ‘You’re braver because you can say this with me on your side.’”
She added, “I actually am so much more honest without alcohol, and I actually believe myself so much more without alcohol.”
“Ensemble, I believe that’s a French word that means, ‘Thank God, I only have to work three days a week,’” Duchovny, 64, teased to start their joint presentation. The actor then turned to his longtime friend and former costar, saying, “Nice to see you Gillian you look …”
Anderson, 56, finished his thought, saying, “Younger than you last saw me when we shot 218 episodes?” Duchovny nodded his head, “Yes, that’s exactly right.”
The twosome — who previously played partners and special agents Mulder and Scully — proceeded to ponder the meaning of a “great drama,” hilariously coming up with two very different answers.
“It is … timing,” Duchovny declared, but Anderson didn’t agree. “Chemistry,” she answered before teasing, “We still got it.”
Anderson joked, “Hilarious! It was so good. We did that so well.” The actors eventually handed the trophy to the cast of Shōgun, who had already won a few awards earlier in the evening.

Ahead of Sunday’s ceremony, Duchovny teased what it would be like to share the stage with Anderson again.
We’re going to present an award. It feels good, [but] I’d rather get an award than present one, but it’s nice,” Duchovny joked to TooFab on Saturday, February 22. “I’m sure there will be more chatter after Sunday.”
The X Files originally aired from 1993 to 2002 and followed two FBI special agents named Mulder and Scully as they investigated previously unexplained cases dubbed “The X Files.” Duchovny and Anderson later reunited for a two-season revival that aired from 2018 to 2018.
During the show’s 11-season run, Duchovny and Anderson received six individual SAG nominations. Anderson, for her part, took home the trophy for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series in 1996 and 1997, respectively.
“Obviously, we know each other very deeply and yet we don’t know each other either in some weird way,” Duchovny recalled on a November 2024 episode of his “Fail Better” podcast. “Even if it’s just biographical, I don’t know that we ever sat down and said, ‘Hey, what was your childhood like?’”
According to Duchovny, he often found it difficult to articulate his feelings.
“I guess I would talk about my failure of friendship or my failure of companionship or just costarring-ness,” he explained at the time. “There was a long time working on the show where we were just not even dealing with one another off camera. And there was a lot of tension, which didn’t matter apparently for the work because we’re both f—ing crazy, I guess. We can just go out there and do what we needed to do.”
Anderson, meanwhile, revealed during the 2024 podcast reunion that they barely communicated between X Files takes.
“It’s crazy that we were able to present on camera the various feelings and emotions and attraction and all that kind of stuff, but then not speak to each other for weeks at a time,” Anderson recalled. “I know that any time that I tried to express myself … the standing up for myself almost felt worse than keeping it inside.”
Denise Richardslikes to keep her beauty regimen au natural — unless Jennifer Aniston swears by an unorthodox hack, that is.
“For the exterior, I see a dermatologist doctor. He’s awesome, he’s very subtle, Dr. [Robert] Dorfman. I did do that salmon sperm facial. It was good,” Richards, 54, told People in an interview published on Sunday, February 23. “I had to after I heard Jennifer Aniston did. Who’s not going to do that?”
She added, “I was like, ‘If she did it, I’ll do it.’ But by the way, I am not one that does a bunch of stuff. I want to look like myself, so I don’t do a bunch of fillers. I do a little Botox. I want to move my face because my eyebrows are very expressive, so I want to keep all that. But I try to do subtle.”
After Richards heard that Aniston, 56, tried the unconventional facial, she was willing to step outside her comfort zone. (Salmon sperm facials are said to rejuvenate and hydrate the skin while creating a glowy complexion. Results can reportedly last up to six months.)
“If I could do a little laser or that salmon sperm thing or whatever, I’ll try it,” Richards told the outlet. “I know it sounds weird.”
Aniston previously revealed in a 2023 WSJ. Magazine cover story that she had the unconventional facial after learning about it from a local aesthetician.
According to the Friends alum, she’s willing to “try almost anything” in order to maintain a youthful look, whether it’s a salmon sperm facial or weekly anti-aging peptide injections.
“I do think that’s the future,” Aniston said, specifically referring to the injections.
Richards and Aniston aren’t alone in trying the salmon-featured treatment.
“I got a salmon sperm facial,” Kim Kardashian said in a 2024 episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians. “With salmon sperm injected into my face.”
90 Day Fiancé alum Stacey Silva, for her part, told Us Weekly in December 2024 that the facial gave her a special glow.
“Do you see the glow? Well, there’s this new procedure called salmon sperm and I injected it in my face,” Silva, 50, exclusively told Us. “I have salmon sperm in my face. Well, salmon, DNA. … I guess it just gives you a glow. It’s really popular in Korea, so it’s like this new hot thing everybody’s doing and I love it.”
Silva further noted that she didn’t feel any pain during the procedure because doctors “numb you up.”
“It was just a bunch of little injections in the face,” Silva added at the time. “Didn’t really hurt. It gives you an instant glow. You wake up glowing.”
Richard Gadd became an awards show darling thanks to the success of his debut Netflix miniseries Baby Reindeer — but he doesn’t proudly display most of his hard-earned trophies.
“I tend to give most of them out to people if you can believe that,” Gadd, 35, told Variety while attending the 2025 Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, February 22. “I never want to reveal where they are in case people break into the house because some of them are obviously very valuable now, but [mom has] got a few, I’ll put it that way.”
He added, “I think I’ve got about two awards in my house. I think I’ve got one of the three Emmys and I think I’ve got an Olivier.”
Gadd’s Baby Reindeer, based on his alleged personal experience with abuse, has earned him accolades at the Emmy Awards, Critics Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards and more award show ceremonies. On Saturday, he took home the Independent Spirit trophy for Best Lead in a New Scripted Series.
Whenever Gadd hands off a new trophy to another recipient, he makes sure to convey his gratitude for all the support.
“[I say], ‘Thanks for everything you’ve done for me. I’m here and I’m alive because of you. Here’s an award to say thanks,’” Gadd added to Variety. “I’ve had some tough times in my life. A lot of good people have got me through them and I wouldn’t be accepting these awards if it weren’t for them.”

The Scottish performer is hoping to add to his collection at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, February 23, where he’s up for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series.
“Weirdly, I’m listening to a band called Rap Bag at the moment,” Gadd told the outlet of his pre-SAG preparation. “They’re quite obscure, but they’ve got this amazing song I cannot stop listening to. They’ve got this amazing sort of ethereal, slightly shrill — not shrill, that sounds bad — but it’s haunting.”
Gadd is up for a SAG Award against Javier Bardem (Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story), Colin Farrell (The Penguin), Kevin Kline (Disclaimer) and Andrew Scott (Ripley).
Gadd’s Baby Reindeer costar Jessica Gunning, who played Martha in the Netflix limited series, is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series on Sunday. Her category is rounded out by Kathy Bates (The Great Lillian Hall), Cate Blanchett(Disclaimer), Jodie Foster (True Detective: Night Country), Lily Gladstone (Under the Bridge) and Cristin Milioti (The Penguin).

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania is about to be a mother-of-the-groom!
Catania’s son, Frankie Jr., proposed to his girlfriend, Nicole Perricho, on Saturday, February 22.
Perricho, for her part, shared the engagement news via Instagram on Sunday, February 23, using Saturday’s date and red heart emoji as her caption. In the snap, Frankie Jr., 26, got down on one knee at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.
Frankie Jr. looked dapper in a black suit, while his soon-to-be bride opted for a white sweater dress with feathered accents dotting the sleeves.
“Me incognito waiting for the proposal,” Dolores wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, later sharing a video of herself waiting outside the church dressed in a winter coat, a pair of oversized sunglasses and a face mask.

Frankie Jr. and Perricho, who works as a nurse, have been together since at least 2023 and have managed to keep most of their courtship private.
Frankie Jr.’s family, meanwhile, has been offering insight into their lives since Dolores joined RHONJ season 7 in 2016 after appearing as a guest in the debut season. The Bravo show has captured Dolores andFrank Sr.’s post-divorce dynamic — and her current relationship with boyfriend Paulie Connell.
“It wasn’t hard. It came easy after all the fighting,” Dolores exclusively told Us Weekly in May 2024 of her relationship with her former spouse. “I tell everybody, ‘You’re not going to remember the things you fought about. So, stop fighting [about it]; they’re not important. It’s just not, let things go and just move on with life.’”

She added, “I remember all the good memories we’ve had, the trips we’ve taken together [and] the holidays we’ve shared together. Those are my memories of me, Frank and the family after my divorce.”
At the time, Dolores also told Us that she wasn’t expecting a proposal of her own from Connell, 50, whom she’s been dating since 2021. (Frank Sr., for his part, is now engaged to Brittany Mattessich.)
“Isn’t that, like, a societal thing? It’s got to stop.” Dolores added to Us. “Why doesn’t everybody just ask, ‘What’s our next trip? What’s your next plan?’ Does it have to be marriage? Does it have to be [an] engagement? Happiness is the goal. Peace in our lives is the goal. We’ve had that.”
“Happiest of birthdays to you, Billy. Sharing my life with you has been a privilege and a blessing,” Phillips, 57, gushed via Instagram on Friday, February 21. “You truly are a GREAT man. I love you eternally, and yes, it’s deep.”
Phillips also uploaded a photo where she packed on the PDA with Baldwin, 62, on a beach.
Baldwin also replied to his wife’s tribute, commenting, “Truly, madly, deeply Mama!!! .”
The singer met Baldwin in 1991, four years before they tied the knot. Phillips and Baldwin went on to welcome children Jameson, Vance and Brooke in 2000, 2001 and 2004, respectively.
The actor and Phillips first hit a rough patch when they separated in 2010 — the Wilson Phillips musician filed for divorce before withdrawing her petition — only to reconcile several days later.
“I started to feel a little flatlined, like, I need more and want more, and I know we deserve more from our marriage,” Phillips exclusively told Us Weekly upon their reunion. “It became so about the children and so about my business, his business, and I missed him. I really missed him. I missed laughing together, taking our little vacations together.”
Fourteen years later, Phillips and Baldwin made headlines when they revealed that they had been living in separate houses but remained married.
“Billy and I are sort of in this new kind of arrangement that is actually really working for me. I don’t know if it’s working for Billster, but I’m very happy with what we’re doing,” Phillips said in a November 2024 YouTube video. “I just really felt like, where in the Bible does it say that I have to live under the same roof 24/7 with my husband? Can you please find me that scripture?”
Phillips further noted that she and Baldwin still often met up for date nights, therapy sessions and other joint outings.
“We enjoy each other’s company. That’s what is so hard to articulate to people: that we’re madly in love, we really enjoy being around one another, we cherish our marriage, we don’t ever want to separate,” she explained. “We just need a little bit of time apart because we are sort of an allergy to one another. And it’s OK, I’m sure lots of different couples [have] allergies to each other.”
“At that time I felt like I needed a little bit of space and really felt like that would be the most logical answer, but I have reneged,” Phillips said in a December 2024 vlog. “I am retracting that comment, and I am now saying that is probably a very foolish, very unwise, very destructive, stupid decision because that’s not going to solve our problem with the allergy.”
After cohabiting once again, Phillips found that they were in a “way better place.”
“It’s being kind and gentle … and being more playful,” she said late last year. “I need more playfulness in my life, and I feel like Billy sometimes struggles with playfulness, but you know what? He’s not me, and I have to grow up and I have to realize that just because Billy is not always as playful as I consider myself to be, that is not something that I need to come down on him for.”
“I used to steal Teri Hatcher’s clothes,” Longoria, 49, quipped during an interview with The Sunday Times published on Sunday, February 23. “Gaby had crazy outfits and I didn’t want any of them.”
She added, “When the show wrapped, I went into Teri’s closet because she didn’t want anything and it was all cashmere sweaters, which was much more my vibe.”
Desperate Housewives aired for eight seasons from 2004 to 2012 and followed the dramatic lives of a group of neighbors after one of their pals mysteriously died. Longoria portrayed Gabrielle “Gaby” Solis” opposite Hatcher’s Susan Meyer. The Emmy-winning drama was rounded out by Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Nicollette Sheridan, Dana Delany, Vanessa Williams and Brenda Strong.
According to Longoria, she “didn’t fall in love with fashion” while appearing on Desperate Housewives.
“They would put clothes on me and I was like, ‘Meh,’” Longoria recalled in Sunday’s profile. “There was a lot of leopard print. I’m about classic styles and comfort, so I tend to be a little more muted in my style.”
While it’s been more than a decade since Desperate Housewives wrapped, Longoria has remained tight with her former Wisteria Lane neighbors.
Eva LongoriaDanny Feld/ABC
“I talk to Felicity all the time. I talk to Marcia a lot. But the one probably I talk to most is Ricardo [Antonio Chavira, who played] my husband. And Jesse [Metcalfe],” Longoria told the Daily Mailin September 2024.
Several of the stars also shared advice with Longoria when she was pregnant with her son, Santiago. (Longoria shares her son, now 6, with husband José Bastón.)
“Oh my gosh, Marcia and Felicity have given me advice,” Longoria exclusively told Us Weeklyin March 2018. “We talk a lot. They’re always supportive and amazing moms.”
In addition to Hatcher’s set style, Longoria also sought fashion inspiration from her relatives and pals like Victoria Beckham.
“[I admire] my mom, my aunt and my sisters. I never had to look far for an example of what a woman should be,” Longoria told The Times. “I had really great role models in my family. My aunt was well-traveled and always wore a scarf and perfume. She was — and is — so glamorous. That’s what I wanted to be like.”
Longoria also called Beckham, 50, her “style icon” in the profile, teasing, “I aspire to be like her one day, and I never will.”
Dave Bettenburg is remembering the good times with Love Is Blindfiancée Lauren O’Brien amid ex drama.
“No one I would’ve rather shared these moments with,” Dave, 33, wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 21, before jokingly adding, “I must’ve been really mean!”
Dave also uploaded several show images with Lauren, 31, from their post-engagement vacation to Honduras and tagged her account.
Lauren shared similar images of the pair on her Instagram, writing on Friday, “Honduras! Group hangs! Friends!”
Dave proposed to Lauren in the Love Is Blind pods during season 8, which was filmed in spring 2024 and started airing on Netflix earlier this month. They first met in person after Lauren accepted Dave’s pod proposal before jetting off on the cast’s trip to Honduras.
During the getaway, Lauren admitted that she had been casually dating another man — with whom Dave had mutual friends — shortly before joining the experiment. The drama carried over to Dave and Lauren’s post-trip life together back in Minneapolis.
“Dave was like, ‘Did you date anyone before coming on here?’ I go, ‘I was, like, talking to someone a couple of months ago, but I wouldn’t have said that I dated them,’ but Dave has mutual friends with him,” Lauren said during a confessional interview. “I was giving [Dave] names and he’s like, ‘Oh, I know him. I see him at the pool all the time.’”
Netflix
While Dave didn’t want Lauren’s past hookup to deter their engagement, he consistently struggled to let it go.
“How do you go from seeing someone so recently to like, ‘I’m ready for marriage?’” he asked Lauren in a separate scene. “That just seems like a huge step in between. … That’s tough.”
Love Is Blind hosts Vanessa and Nick Lachey, meanwhile, defended Lauren’s past in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
“I think everyone’s situation is different,” Vanessa, 44, exclusively told Us earlier this month. “It’s very important to not be seeing someone while you’re on the show — we’ve seen that play out or not play out so well. But there’s no right or wrong.”
She added, “When you meet someone for the first time, and if you found out they just got out of a relationship, then you navigate that conflict. And [we’re] seeing how Lauren and David navigated that conflict, how what was important to him might not have been that important to her, or vice versa.”
Nick, 51, further acknowledged that Dave likely “felt it was gonna be a little awkward running into people that he knew” considering his fiancée’s dating history.
“That’s part of life [and] it’s not a specific Love Is Blind issue,” Nick quipped to Us.
Whether Dave and Lauren can overcome her ex situation (and make it down the aisle) remains to be seen in the remaining episodes of Love Is Blind.
Love Is Blind is currently streaming on Netflix. New episodes drop weekly.

Savannah Chrisley had recently started seeing now-boyfriend Robert Shiver when she found out that her former fiancé, Nic Kerdiles, had died at age 29.
“Robert and I started dating [on] August 17, 2023, and Nic passed away later in September,” Savannah, 27, recalled to People in an interview published on Sunday, February 23, noting she was out of town visiting one of her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, in prison following their respective fraud convictions. “When you go and visit, you don’t have phones. You’re not allowed any electronics. Before I went in, I just texted Robert, and I just said, ‘Nic died.’ That’s all I said.”
She added, “Keep in mind, we had been dating a month and when that happened, Robert reached out to my publicist, Alexa, and my best friend Tyler, and was like, ‘Hey guys, how do I show up for her? I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what to do. But just let me know if there’s anything I can do.’”
According to Savannah, Shiver, 40, immediately hopped on a plane to Florida to be by her side.
“He was there when I got out of visitation and he sent me a text and said, ‘Hey, I just want to let you know I’m here. I got you guys food, and I just want to get you home,’” Savannah recalled. “And he took me and [my siblings Greyson and Chloe] home. I had pictures of that day of him and Chloe playing rock, paper, scissors on the plane. When we got home I said, ‘I just want to go to where it happened. I just have to see it for myself.’”
News broke in September 2023 that Kerdiles died after a fatal motorcycle crash. (Savannah and Kerdiles dated on and off from 2018 to 2021. The former hockey player is survived by his parents and his sister.)
Once Savannah returned home to Nashville, she asked for Shiver to escort her to Kerdiles’ crash site.

“When we went to leave, we were standing at the stop sign, and Robert walks up next to me, and he goes, ‘Hey, do you mind if I say a prayer for Nic and his family?’” Savannah recalled. “In that moment, I was like, ‘This is the type of person you want to spend the rest of your life with.’ Someone who shows up for you, and shows up for you well, in situations like that.”
Savannah confirmed in September 2023 that she was dating Shiver, later telling Us Weekly that their romance was going “great.”
“I’m so thankful to just have such a great person in my life,” Savannah exclusively told Us in October 2023. “This is a relationship that I’m like, ‘I want to protect and love and even who knows where it’s going to end up,’ but even if it [didn’t end] up as The One, I am so grateful to have met [him].”
Patrick Schwarzenegger is addressing speculation that his famous parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, somehow helped him land a role in season 3 of The White Lotus.
“I know there are people who’ll say I only got this role because of who my dad is,” Patrick, 31, told The Sunday Times in a profile published on Sunday, February 23. “They’re not seeing that I’ve had 10 years of acting classes, put on [high] school plays every week, worked on my characters for hours on end or the hundreds of rejected auditions I’ve been on.”
He added, “Of course, it’s frustrating and you can get boxed in and you think at that moment, I wish I didn’t have my last name. But, that’s a small moment. I would never trade my life with anyone. I’m very fortunate to have the life and family that I have, the parents I have and the lessons and values they’ve instilled in me.”
Exes Arnold, 77, and Shriver, 69, were married from 1986 to 2011, during which they welcomed children Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher. (Arnold also shares son Joseph Baena with Mildred “Patty” Baena, whom he secretly welcomed during his marriage to Shriver.)
Despite Arnold and Shriver’s divorce, their family remains close.
“I hang with my family all the time,” Patrick told The Times. “I live within a few minutes of my dad.”
In fact, Arnold, Shriver and most of Patrick’s siblings supported him at the official White Lotus premiere earlier this month. Patrick plays Saxton in the Thailand-set season 3 of the HBO anthology series created by Mike White.
Everett Collection
“I thought, ‘There’s no way I’m going to get this, everybody is up for this.’ I’ve been a massive fan of the show since day one,” Patrick recalled. “It was my dream goal, I think I manifested it.”
“I was like, ‘Eek, sorry, I’m gonna be gone the next seven months, so we’re going to have to push the wedding to next year,’” Patrick jokingly recalled to the British newspaper.
Ahead of filming White Lotus, Patrick also overhauled his fitness routine — often hitting the gym with dad Arnold — to get in shape to play Saxton.
“Me and my dad train together when we can,” the actor added in Sundayy’s profile. “We were both filming in Toronto recently, staying at the same hotel and worked out together every day. People [who] don’t like me on social media will say, ‘Why aren’t you bodybuilding?’ People always want you to do something else, but he’s undoubtedly been an influence in my life.”
“Family continues to be super important, even as we get older,” Patrick told Us in September 2024. “It’s nice as we bring in new people, whether it’s my fiancée, or Katherine with her husband, [Chris Pratt], or so on and so forth. We always have other guests that come to the dinner.”
According to Patrick, his mother hosts weekly meals for their entire brood.
“It’s kind of an open invite for friends to come, family to come, and it’s just a nice way to get everyone together,” he added at the time. “The world is always moving so fast. Everyone is so busy with kids and with work and traveling that it’s a nice moment throughout the week to settle down and have everyone be together.”
A potential sequel to Top Gun: Maverick is still in development, according to star Jay Ellis.
“So here’s what the story’s going to be. It’s going to be payback. No, no [I’m kidding],” Ellis, 43, jokingly told Us Weekly exclusively at the 2025 Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, California, on Saturday, February 22. “In all honesty, they’re still working on the script. They’re still working on the story. They’re wanting to get it right.”
Ellis portrayed Reuben “Payback” Fitch in 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick, which was based on the original 1986 film with Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. In Maverick, Cruise’s titular character showed Ellis, Miles Teller, Glen Powell and more the aviation ropes.
The latest film, which Cruise produced, was a critical success and prompted fan enthusiasm about a potential Top Gun 3.
“You know, Tom is a stickler, and that really comes from him wanting to make sure the audience gets what they paid for and that they’re entertained,” Ellis told Us on Saturday. “[So] that for those two hours, they can fully disappear in this theater, and the world around them doesn’t exist anymore, and [be] fully entertained. That’s where the focus is.”
Everett Collection
According to Ellis, Top Gun 3 would also need to enhance the story lines already explored in the first two films.
“[It’s also about] really making sure that this story is not done just to make a movie, but made because these characters are going to make people lean in,” he said.
While Ellis — just like Us — waits for more news about a Top Gun sequel, he has stayed booked and busy, recently filming Peacock’s All Her Fault miniseries. (A specific premiere date has not been announced.)
“All Her Fault‘s a lot of fun. I’m very excited for that. Sarah Snook is the boss on that one. Sarah Snook is, obviously, the lead of that show [and] what a great cast. It’s Michael Peña, Dakota Fanning, Abby Elliott [and] myself,” Ellis gushed. “It is … based on a book. You’re going to be, like, your fists are going to hurt so much. Your hands are going to be balled up in anxiety so much for this show. It was fun. We got to shoot it in Australia, which was really cool. Such a great thrilling, like, heart-pounding [show].”
He added, “It’s one of those things where it’s kind of, like, the Spider-Man meme. Everybody’s pointing … at each other like, ‘You did it.’ It’s a lot of fun.”

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes showed off his new ‘do during his daughter’s birthday party.
Patrick, 29, and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, hosted a celebratory Bluey-themed gathering on Saturday, February 22, in honor of daughter Sterling turning 4 years old.
“The annual boys pic,” Brittany, also 29, wrote via Instagram Stories, uploading a snapshot of Patrick and former Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Nic Shimonek with their respective sons during the party.
Patrick held his son Bronze, 2, while Shimonek, 30, carried his two children with wife Betina Gozo Shimonek. The Mahomes boys, for their part, both wore baby blue outfits and smiled for the camera.
In the photo, Patrick rocked a cropped hairdo. The Chiefs star had recently appeared to chop off his signature curls after the 2025 Super Bowl earlier this month.
Patrick — who lost the NFL championship 40-22 to the Philadelphia Eagles — is a father of three. In addition to Sterling and Bronze, he and Brittany welcomed daughter Golden last month.
“I think people don’t even realize how much she does. I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and make it where I can focus on football and focus on my craft and everything like that,” Patrick said of his wife during a May 2024 appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast. “[She’s] a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, [which] makes it a lot easier. I mean, when you get to come home and your best friend’s there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to be there all the time and she pushes me to be great and she’s done a lot of great things herself.”
Patrick and Brittany have been together since high school, and the former soccer star has always proudly cheered on her man from the sidelines. Now, Brittany brings their children to watch his Chiefs games.
“I just try to cherish that. I still remember moments from the World Series my dad played when I was 5 years old,” Patrick said during a January press conference, referring to his father’s past MLB career. “So, these are moments I’ll have with my family for the rest of my life.”
He continued at the time, “It’s a growing family, but [I] hope we are done growing for a little while. It’s cool that I’m able to play in these big games and the Kansas City community has brought me in to be a part of their family.”
