After news broke on Wednesday, February 26, that the actress was found unconscious inside her New York City apartment at the age of 39, many colleagues were quick to share their favorite memories working alongside Trachtenberg.
“My heart is heavy today. We have lost a beautiful soul,” James Marsters, who played Spike, wrote via Instagram. “Michelle was fiercely intelligent, howlingly funny and a very talented person. She died much too young, and leaves behind scores of people who knew and loved her. … Godspeed Michelle. You are missed.”
Between 2000 and 2003, Trachtenberg had the opportunity to play Dawn Summers — Buffy’s sister — on the hit series. Once the show wrapped, the actress went on to star in various projects, including Gossip Girl and Six Feet Under.
“Michelle touched a generation of television fans throughout her career, including in her unforgettable role as the independent and strong-willed Dawn Summers in Buffy,” a rep for 20th Television, the studio behind the series, said in a statement to TVLine. “She brought depth, heart, and authenticity to every performance and will be remembered for her remarkable talent. Our sincere condolences go out to her family and friends — she will be deeply missed.”

“Peace out little one. ,” the actress, who played Glory on Buffy, wrote via Instagram. “A talented & kind soul gone way too soon! You’re free to fly now… .”
Although Trachtenberg never appeared on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff Angel, several stars from the show also paid tribute to the late actress on social media. “Sending love to Michelle’s family and friends,” Acker, who portrayed Fred, wrote via her Instagram Story.
J. August Richards
“Just heard about the passing of Michelle Trachtenberg… So young,” the Angel star, who played Gunn, wrote via Instagram. “My heart goes out to her family and loved ones. What a beautiful spirit who left an amazing legacy… Rest In Peace, dear one…”
Michelle Trachtenberg’s experience in Hollywood wasn’t always filled with glitz and glamour.
Ever since she rose to fame as a child star in the 1996 movie Harriet the Spy, Trachtenberg had the opportunity to work on many projects including big TV shows like Gossip Girl and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
While the actress may have experienced the joys of red carpets and premieres, she was also open about the pitfalls of fame.
Before her death was confirmed on February 26, 2025, Trachtenberg experienced social media trolls. At one point, she felt compelled to respond to users’ comments questioning her appearance in recent social media posts.
“I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance,” she wrote via Instagram in January 2024. “I have never had plastic surgery. I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters.”
Long before her death at the age of 39, Trachtenberg found herself reflecting on fame in Hollywood and sharing the ups and downs of growing up in the spotlight. Keep reading to see what she had to say about her public life:

After finding fame at a young age thanks to the 1996 film Harriet the Spy, Trachtenberg admitted that kids weren’t always kind in the classroom.
“Back in my day, all the kids had to write a bulls— Valentine’s Day card to everyone in the class,” she wrote via Instagram in February 2020 when recalling her holiday memories. “I never got one on purpose, everyone got a valentine card. No one ever gave me one and they thought I didn’t need the attention. The kids and staff all laughed and thought everyone else should get one, being an actress since I was 3, apparently I didn’t need one. No one gave a thought I was helping my family pay bills. I was just the girl on the tv, it was just that their kid wasn’t on tv.”
Trachtenberg said she still has “scars from being thrown down stairs and slammed into lockers head first.”
“I write this to every child, teen, person out there who is bullied,” she continued. “You are something. Do not put your value in someone else. Not letting them win, is your win.”
While filming Harriet the Spy, Trachtenberg found great comfort in her costar Rosie O’Donnell.
“I turned 10 years old on the first day of principal photography of Harriet the Spy. Rosie was my biggest supporter,” she told Entertainment Tonightin October 2021. “There was a lot required of me. I’m extremely grateful for the experience.”
Long after filming wrapped, the pair remained in touch with Trachtenberg singing her praises over the years.
“[Rosie] protected me so much,” she told ET. “I held her first baby, Parker, on set on Harriet.”

Between 2000 and 2003, Trachtenberg had the opportunity to play Dawn Summers — Buffy’s sister — on the hit series.
After the show wrapped, series creator Joss Whedon faced allegations of creating a hostile and toxic work environment. (He has since denied toxic behavior allegations made by Buffy and Angel cast members.)
“While I am proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don’t want to be forever associated with the name Joss Whedon,” Sarah Michelle Gellar wrote via Instagram in February 2021. “I stand with all survivors of abuse and am proud of them for speaking out.”
After seeing Gellar’s post, Trachtenberg decided to share her costar’s message and thank her for speaking out.
“I am brave enough now as a 35 year old woman….To repost this. Because. This must. Be known. As a teenager. With his not appropriate behavior….very. Not. Appropriate. So now. People know,” she wrote via Instagram that same month. “The last. Comment I will make on this. Was. There was a rule. Saying. He’s not allowed in a room alone with Michelle again.” (Whedon has never publicly commented on Trachtenberg’s allegation.)
Making Memories With the Stars

Up until her death, Trachtenberg was active on social media, sharing selfies and posting on Throwback Thursday or Flashback Friday.
In April 2023, the actress shared an unforgettable memory from the red carpet premiere of Inspector Gadget.
“Long hair don’t care! 13 year old me at the Inspector Gadget premiere with the awesome Matthew Broderick!!” she wrote via Instagram. “I turned 13 on the set of this movie. A wonderful experience. I still have the @betseyjohnson dress I’m wearing in my memory closet. @sarahjessicaparker #flashbackfriday.”
Another throwback memory was posted in October 2022 when Trachtenberg had the opportunity to try on Eartha Kitt’s wig from Harriet the Spy.
“I love hearing your comments how Harriet helped you go through hard times, or how Harriet inspired you to be a writer because she was so strong and stood up to bullies!” Trachtenberg wrote via Instagram. “For everyone going through covid digital school right now, learn, laugh at the bullies, and read! Books are real #throwback.”
While Karen Huger refers to herself as the “Grand Dame” of Potomac, she also has an affectionate nickname for her husband, businessman Ray Huger.
“When I first started dating Ray, I helped him organize his office and I ran across a memo where he had written a speech to introduce Bill Gates to a conference of, I think, 800 people,” Karen recalled to Bravo’s The Daily Dish in 2016. “I was just blown away that this man that I’m dating actually introduced Bill Gates at a conference. And I said, ‘You’re my little Black Bill Gates.'”
The nickname and the couple’s playful dynamic would be captured by Bravo cameras when The Real Housewives of Potomac premiered in 2016.
“I didn’t even see Raymond physically. I just felt him spiritually,” Karen recalled of meeting her husband for the first time in 1994. “He’s my best friend.”
For the past nine years, the couple has documented their life for reality TV. Most recently, however, Karen found herself in a legal situation after she was found guilty of DUI.
Before being sentenced, Karen — as well as Ray — testified in front of a judge and were the only people who did so on her behalf. A judge officially sentenced her to two years in jail with one year suspended, meaning she will be behind bars for one year.

Karen vividly remembers the first time she met Ray during the Black Caucus near Washington D.C.
“We were at a formal event, and he asked me to dance,” she recalled to Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “And he took me in his arms, and I swear to God, he was making this noise in my ear, but when he took me in his arms I knew. The way he held me, I knew that was gonna be my husband.”

In honor of the couple’s 25-year wedding anniversary, Karen and Ray — who are parents to Rayvin and Brandon — decided to renew their vows at Virginia’s Platinum Wedding Event and Decor.
“We’re on a different level now,” Karen told Bravo in April 2022. “We are at a totally different level after the vow renewal. … We’re still married. Our life, Lord Jesus, when does it stop? That’s what I’m wondering. And it’s funny. And it keeps us so closely bound to one another. He is my best friend. He’s my rock. And he is my inspiration too.”

In an August 2022 episode of the “Daily Dish” podcast, Karen admitted that her relationship with Ray had some moments of marital strife in recent years, as seen on the show.
But through any ups and downs, Karen said the couple’s kids remained very supportive.
“They were so cool with us, and they said, ‘Look, you guys have been great parents, but what we don’t want is you to stay together because of us,” she said. “They were like, rooting for us, but they were like, ‘Look! I want you to be happy!’ That’s when you raise your children right. And they love you and respect you enough to say, ‘Look, don’t do it for me. Do it for you all. You guys deserve the best.’ I’m so lucky to have them as kids. They are so freaking cool.”

When Karen was sentenced to one year in jail following a DUI charge, Ray remained supportive of his wife by testifying on her behalf and showing up to court alongside her.
“You know he truly loves you when he insist on taking you to your wellness appointment. ,” Karen wrote via Instagram in 2024 after her legal saga began. “#hubby #rideordie #friendsforlife #mammogram #rhop.”
According to Fox 5 DC, a judge sentenced the Bravo reality star to one year in jail on Wednesday, February 26. (Her official sentence is two years in jail with one year suspended, meaning she will be behind bars for one year.)
Both Karen and her husband, Ray Huger, testified in front of a judge and were the only people who did so on her behalf.
At one point in the proceedings, the judge responded to claims that Karen crashed because of a mix of anti-anxiety medications saying, “You were filled to the gills with alcohol.”
Fox 5 DC also reported that Karen’s sentence will start right away, and she will go right from the courtroom to jail. The outlet assumed Karen will serve her time in Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
The facility is responsible for the custody and care of male and female offenders who are either in a pre-trial status or serving sentences of up to 18 months.
Before Karen reports to jail, take a look back on how the “Grand Dame” of Potomac found herself in a DUI scandal.
Karen Huger’s Arrest

On March 19, 2023, Karen was driving her 2017 Maserati in an “aggressive manner,” Montgomery County Police confirmed to TMZ. As a result, she struck both an intersection crosswalk sign and a parking sign before her vehicle came to a halt in Potomac, Maryland.
“With the passing of my Beloved Mother, Grief comes and goes in waves, and with Mothers Day approaching it has felt more like a tsunami,” Karen said in a statement to TMZ at the time. “Last night I met a girlfriend for dinner, we talked and brought up some very emotionally sensitive topics. I was crying on my way home and saw a car heading right for me. I swerved to avoid the head-on collision, hit the divider and then a tree. I’m hurt, bruised up a bit, but so grateful I am alive!”
Karen was later charged with a DUI and DWI, negligently driving a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner endangering property, life and person, as well as recklessly driving a vehicle.
Karen Huger’s Trial
In December 2024, Karen was found guilty on nearly all charges. (She was found not guilty of recklessly driving.)
“Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,” Karen’s attorney, A. Scott Bolden, told People in a statement shortly after the verdict was revealed. “We continue to reserve Mrs. Huger’s right to an appeal and intend to fully pursue justice on her behalf. We appreciate your support and prayers for Mrs. Huger and her family at this time.”
Police body cam footage was released after the verdict and included video of the Bravo star name-dropping third U.S. President Thomas Jefferson and Andy Cohen following the car accident.

While filming season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Karen maintained her innocence in the DUI case. When the show’s reunion taped in January 2025, however, she was expected to receive tough questions from Cohen and her costars about the guilty verdict and the body cam footage.
Karen ultimately did not attend the taping in person as she chose to enter a private recovery program. She did address the situation, however, in a pre-taped video that aired during the show.
“No, I’m not an alcoholic, let’s be clear,” she said. “This is very frightening but I accept full responsibility for everything that went on with my car accident. I don’t care about me right now. I care about my children, I care about my family. They are so hurt.”
Karen Huger’s Legal Consequences
While Bravo has yet to publicly comment on Karen’s future with The Real Housewives of Potomac, her sentencing includes jail time and other consequences.
According to Fox 5 DC, Karen was also sentenced to five years of probation after she gets out of jail and she won’t be able to drive a car for another year after she gets out.
Karen will need an interlock device when she’s allowed to drive again, will attend AA meetings and pay $2,900 in fines.
“Karen is accepting this jail time with peace,” her attorney told reporters outside the courtroom following sentencing.
What Do Karen Huger’s ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Costars Think?

After Karen was found guilty, several of her costars expressed their opinions on the case.
“I always knew she was guilty,” Mia Thornton said during a January 2025 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “Sorry, I did. It’s very, very sad. I really feel like if she would have just owned up to what she did, then we would not know.”
Gizelle Bryant expressed her concern about Karen possibly spending a long period of time in jail.
“I mean, do I want to see her go to jail? Absolutely not. But do I want to see her take accountability? For sure,” Bryant exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2025. “So, I don’t know. I mean, Karen going to jail? That would break my heart. So we’ll see.”
Former costar Robyn Dixon, however, appeared to show little sympathy during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
“None of it is a surprise,” Dixon shared in February. “The deflection, the lying, the fact that she was guilty. It’s sad but not a surprise.”
According to Fox 5 DC, a judge ordered the Bravo reality star, 61, to one year in jail. She was facing two years behind bars as this wasn’t her first DUI. (Huger’s official sentence is two years in jail with one year suspended, meaning she will be incarcerated for one year.)
“You were filled to the gills with alcohol,” the judge reportedly told Huger, who is expected to begin her sentence immediately.
Huger appeared in court with her husband, Ray, by her side on Wednesday, February 26.
Prior to the sentencing, Huger addressed the situation in a pre-taped video that aired at the RHOP reunion.
“No, I’m not an alcoholic, let’s be clear,” she said. “This is very frightening but I accept full responsibility for everything that went on with my car accident. I don’t care about me right now. I care about my children, I care about my family. They are so hurt.”
Not long after making the video, Huger checked in treatment to center to “get to the bottom” of “taking antidepressants and drinking.” During Wednesday’s sentencing, Huger’s attorney said the “overuse of prescription medicine is what caused the accident.”
After being involved in a March 2024 car accident, Huger was charged with a DUI and DWI, negligently driving a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner endangering property, life, and person, as well as recklessly driving a vehicle.
In December 2024, Huger was found guilty on nearly all charges. (She was found not guilty of recklessly driving.)
“Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,” Huger’s attorney, A. Scott Bolden, told People in a statement at the time. “We continue to reserve Mrs. Huger’s right to an appeal and intend to fully pursue justice on her behalf. We appreciate your support and prayers for Mrs. Huger and her family at this time.”
While Huger maintained her innocence throughout filming season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, police body cam footage led some costars to question her actions.

Since Huger was found guilty, several of her costars have expressed their opinions on the case.
“I always knew she was guilty,” Mia Thornton said during the January 26 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “Sorry, I did. It’s very, very sad. I really feel like if she would have just owned up to what she did, then we would not know.”
As for Gizelle Bryant, who helped launch The Real Housewives of Potomac with Huger in 2016, the thought of seeing her costar and friend behind bars is upsetting.
“I mean, do I want to see her go to jail? Absolutely not. But do I want to see her take accountability? For sure,” Bryant, 54, exclusively told Us Weekly on February 3. “So, I don’t know. I mean, Karen going to jail? That would break my heart. So we’ll see.”

Married at First Sight’s Decision Day turned out to be a true death for some complicated marriages.
During the Tuesday, February 25 episode of Lifetime’s hit reality show, experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Cal Roberson and Dr. Pia Goff confronted Madison after she developed feelings for David while she was married to Allen.
“I want to start with an apology, even if it doesn’t go very far,” Madison, 29, shared with her husband. “I am truly sorry for hurting you and the pain I see I have caused you. This was not something that was intentional or planned or with malicious intent. I should have been more honest about my feelings from the beginning.”
The apology, however, appeared to be too little too late for Allen, 36.
“There’s no part of me that wants to be married to this woman,” he told the experts while sitting next to Madison. “You have been playing this game with David for weeks. Continuing to go on with that, I think that’s repulsive.”
Lifetime/Kinetic Content
When asked if he needed more closure from either Madison or David, 36, Allen said it wasn’t necessary. “I don’t have any questions,” he added. “He’s like dirt to me.”
Not to be outdone, David was faced with tough questions from the experts when he met up with his wife.
“I truly do apologize,” he told Michelle in a tense sit-down. “There was no intention to hurt you whatsoever. That’s not in me. That’s not the person I am. Unfortunately, I caught feelings with Madison and that wasn’t fair to you.”
Lifetime/Kinetic Content
Michelle, 38, argued that her husband of eight weeks had zero remorse and it was time to officially move on with a divorce.
“I feel like there’s been a lot of lying for probably way longer than I’m aware of,” she said. “It sounds like David has already moved on with Madison and I’m not sure where that leads me.”
During the season, David maintained that his relationship with Madison was never physical except for a few hugs. The experts, however, previously questioned why he sent a text message to her saying he “wanted to eat her up.” (In a previous episode, David claimed that he was just shooting his shot and was a man with “needs” that weren’t being met.)
Following Decision Day, David and Madison enjoyed a date at the golfing range and expressed their hopes to continue exploring the relationship.
“My feelings are strong but I’m not trying to overwhelm you,” he said. “I know we’re going through a lot as well but I can see a lot with us.”
In one final plot twist, the cast reunited for drinks after Decision Day. As cameras rolled, David and Madison showed up in matching red outfits proving they were ready to move forward together. Before viewers could see the cast’s reaction, the episode ended resulting in an epic cliffhanger.
Married at First Sight (produced by Kinetic Content) airs on Lifetime Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero’s sister, Gris Guerrero, is trying to make sense of his tragic death at age 34.
“[There are] unanswered questions and it may take some time to properly have something for him,” Gris exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Tuesday, February 15, regarding funeral plans. “We are getting some help, but it is a waiting game for everyone to do what they can to get answers.”
While the timeline leading up to her brother’s passing “isn’t an issue,” the cause of death remains a mystery to the family at this point.
“We have been able to track every one of his steps, but we don’t know what got him sick or what was [the] sickness,” she explained to Us. “It all happened suddenly and no one knows why.”
Gris confirmed Jesus was in the hospital at the time of his passing “and that’s part of why there are so many unanswered questions because nothing they had done was able to prevent this from happening.”
Throughout the month of February, Jesus was working with several high-profile clients including Kali Uchis for the 2025 Grammys and Jennifer Lopez for a recent work trip to the United Arab Emirates.

“Everyone on his team did everything they could to get him to the doctors because he was not well,” Gris shared with Us. “They told him he was not going to work, he should see a doctor and rest. And he wanted to come home.”
Gris’ family has his paperwork from the hospital [in Dubai] and she added it “was a very long flight and a lot in between and going on the hospital [in the United States]. That’s part of why we are looking into his health more with what happened.”
“As soon as he showed up [in Dubai], he was told, ‘You don’t look well,’ to sit down and rest,” Gris added. “If he didn’t get well, to go back to the hospital. [They told him], ‘We want you to take care of yourself.’”
He was able to make it to a doctor in Dubai, Gris said, but Jesus “was focused on coming home and his roommate forced him to go to doctors [when he returned to the United States.]”

Since Jesus’ death was confirmed, the hairstylist has received countless tributes via social media from friends, clients and followers.
“She has told us anything we need. Jesus was family to her, and she was family to him,” Gris shared. “She has kept an open line. Anything we need, any questions we have, she has been there for us. She wants his memory to be honored and wants to do as much as she can so he gets the farewell he deserves.”
Lopez, 55, has also reached out and “talked us through everything that she could, along with others that were there.”
“I am very grateful for everything she did [for him],” Gris shared, “to go to the doctor and not to work and to get rest.”
As the Guerrero family continues to grieve, Gris is expected to share more updates on the GoFundMe page she created in honor of Jesus. She also hopes to share more about her brother’s incredible life and the impact he had on others.
“We would love for everyone to remember the light and warmth he brought to every room along with his laugh and smile,” she wrote via GoFundMe. “He is a soul to be celebrated. His generosity, kindness and empathy was unmatched.”

Days before his untimely death, Jesus Guerrero was reportedly working with one of his biggest celebrity clients.
The hairstylist seemingly teamed up with Jennifer Lopez as she traveled to the United Arab Emirates for several work functions.
“Business trip ,” Lopez, 55, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, February 19, while sharing photos from her overseas trip that included a performance at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena and a separate concert in Abu Dhabi.
In the post, the “On the Floor” singer tagged Guerrero, suggesting that he was part of her glam squad for the getaway.
Just weeks earlier, Guerrero was in Los Angeles prepping Kali Uchis for the 2025 Grammys. In his final Instagram post before his death, the hairstylist shared photos of Uchis’ red carpet look with the caption, “Grammys 2025 .”
Jesus’ death was confirmed on Saturday, February 22, when his sister Gris Guerrero set up a GoFundMe page in his honor. He was 34.

“My name is Gris, Jesus’s younger sister,” Gris wrote in the description. “It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend and so much more.”
A cause of death has yet to be revealed and Gris shared that the family may not have answers for quite some time.
“At this moment, answers won’t seem to be here for a while but we thank everyone for their love, support, and assistance in getting these answers as soon as possible,” she wrote in a GoFundMe update posted Tuesday, February 25. “We would love for everyone to remember the light and warmth he brought to every room along with his laugh and smile. He is a soul to be celebrated. His generosity, kindness and empathy was unmatched.”
Since Jesus’ death was confirmed, many of his clients and members of the beauty community have paid tribute to the hairstylist online.
“Jesus, it’s no surprise your mother gave you the name Jesus,” Lopez wrote via Instagram on February 25. “You were gentle and kind and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful, and your presence was felt the minute you walked into any room. You never demanded the spotlight. You never needed to make a sound to be recognized, your heart and your talent did that as effortlessly as you artistry did.”
The former American Idol judge said she was “having trouble putting the words together the last few days.”
“The truth is I’m still in shock that such a beautiful young life has come to an end,” she continued. “It seems senseless and unfair. I know your family is brokenhearted as am I and everyone else who knew you. Your spirit moved on to the next phase beyond this life but I know wherever you are there is beauty and light. And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever. Rest in peace, sweet angel… .”
Other tributes came from the Kardashian family and close friends.
“Oh, @jesushair you were so beyond loved and will be missed so much by so many people,” Chrissy Teigen shared via her Instagram Story. Kim Kardashian shared a family photo with Jesus and wrote, “Our glam fam means the world to us. Our great respect for the art of hair and [makeup] has led us to us meeting some of the kindest souls and make some of our bestest friends. So when one of our glam family members passes away all of our souls are crushed.”
Kylie Jenner will reportedly pay for Jesus’ funeral expenses as his family works to bring him home to Houston, Texas.
“Kylie is completely heartbroken,” an insider toldUs Weekly. “Jesus was her No. 1 hairstylist, and they were best friends.”
“I’m a little — I won’t say shaken up or anything. I’m just surprised by the whole situation, and I’ve had a little time to reflect on it since I did the show a week and a half ago,” Ward told TooFab in an interview published Tuesday, February 25. “It just felt uneasy to have people that you called friends — especially in the past, I thought Danielle was my friend — I can see that she did not like me, and she has harbored not liking me through the years, but it’s sad to me too.”
Just one day earlier, Boy Meets World fans listened to Ward, 48, reunite with Fishel, 43, on her iHeartRadio “Pod Meets World” podcast. Things took a turn when the pair began rehashing their ongoing feud with Ward claiming that Fishel unfriended her on Facebook — which Fishel denied.
“I just wanna say I did not come on that show to create controversy and to drum anything up at that time and I think fans can see that,” Ward said in her latest interview. “The first part of the show was very friendly. That’s why it was such a weird switch at the end.”
While the headlines surrounding the podcast focus on Fishel, Ward said she is also disappointed in former costar Will Friedle. According to the actress, Friedle, 48, presented the podcast opportunity as something that would be “fun.”
“I thought, like, any problems we had, we would talk in a conversational way, so I wasn’t expecting such a jarring shift,” Ward claimed. “It was like, all of a sudden she was Topanga and then she switched into [Mean Girls’] Regina George.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Fishel’s team for comment.
In addition to appearing in Boy Meets World together, Ward and Fishel also appeared in Girl Meets World, which aired on Disney from 2014 to 2017. While filming the spinoff, the pair were not the closest costars.
“I am sorry that you thought I had something personally against you,” Fishel said on the “Pod Meets World” podcast, to which Ward replied, “Listen, you didn’t like the fact that I was getting a lot of attention at that time and going off in my own space and taking away that attention.”
Despite the tense conversation, Ward is open to appearing on the podcast again in the future.
“I am not a coward about these things and I would do it,” she said. “I definitely think there’s more to be said on the matter, and I think it has to be approached in a more adult way. There are big problems in the world, and we were discussing at length whether or not she unfriended me on Facebook. These were kind of petty matters in a lot of ways, but I think we can have a deeper conversation.”
In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, February 25, episode of the Lifetime reality series, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Cal Roberson and Dr. Pia Goff meet up with the couples one final time to see if they want to stay married or get divorced.
While they weren’t surprised to hear David, 36, and Michelle’s wishes to go their separate ways after eight weeks of marriage, the experts may not have been prepared for the groom’s final words.
“I feel like you’re making a case for why it’s OK for you to have had an affair on Michelle,” Dr. Pia shares in the preview. “Your apology doesn’t feel genuine. It doesn’t sound genuine because it’s couched in ‘But did you do this? But did you do that?’ You’re now saying to Pastor Cal, ‘If you don’t know something, then it’s your partner’s responsibility to help you figure that out?’ At what point do you take responsibility for your own actions as an adult?”
Although the experts initially matched up David and Michelle, 38, viewers watched a cheating scandal unfold when the groom chose to pursue a relationship with his costar Madison, who was initially set up with Allen.
Although David said he was never intimate with Madison, 29, the experts previously questioned why he sent a text message to her saying he “wanted to eat her up.” (In a previous episode, he claimed that he was just shooting his shot and was a man with “needs” that weren’t being met.)
“I’m not condoning it,” David says. “I f—ed up. I’m already admitting that.”

But after Dr. Pia begins questioning the truth about his statement, David doubles down.
“I don’t care what other people believe or don’t believe,” he continues explaining to the clinical psychotherapist. “I’m not condoning it. At this point, I’m literally checked out.”
Viewers, however, will be clocked in to the unexpected scandal that has rocked season 18.
On the Monday, February 24, episode of The Voice, Ballerini, 31, took a break from the blind auditions to tell fellow coach Adam Levine how great it is to work alongside him.
“Blake really made me nervous,” she said. “He was like, ‘Adam’s tough. Sometimes he’s mean. He’s competitive. He’s ruthless.’ He was wrong. You’re lovely. You’re nice.”
While Levine, 45, appreciated the kind words, he had a couple of theories as to why Shelton, 48, would say such a thing.
“I feel like Blake was hazing you when he did that,” the Maroon 5 frontman speculated. “He’s mean. He’s not a nice guy.”

Shelton and Levine helped launch The Voice in 2011 with Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. They continued to work together on the first 16 seasons until Levine chose to briefly step away to pursue other projects. (Shelton also left the show after season 23.)
The duo often poked fun at each other and got competitive over whose team was better than the other. Deep down, however, the pair’s bromance was too evident to deny. (In May 2023, Levine chose to speak at Shelton’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.)
After Ballerini made it clear that she thinks Sheton is a nice guy, Levine decided to have a little fun at his former coworker’s expense.

“He’s not a nice person. If he’s being nice to you, that means he’s lying,” Levine said. “The one bad part about shooting this season of The Voice is that I have to sit in this filthy chair.”
As Season 27 of The Voice continues, all four coaches — including John Legend and Michael Bublé — are working hard to build their teams during the blind auditions.
Although it’s Ballerini’s first season as an official coach, her costars have plenty of experience fighting to find the best voice.
Despite a five-year hiatus from the show, Levine came back and has already secured several impressive singers who earned a four-chair turn during auditions.
“I was definitely curious to see and feel what it was going to be like,” the “Sugar” singer told NBC before the season began. “It’s been a while since I’ve been on and I honestly thought maybe it was time. I just thought I’d come back and give it another chance.”
The Voice airs on NBC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. Stream old episodes anytime on Peacock.

Through any ups and downs Justin Bieber may experience, he can count on wife Hailey Bieber for encouragement.
“Hailey is trying to be as supportive as possible,” a source exclusively shared with Us Weekly. “It can be hard for Hailey, but she’s always there for him and is understanding.”
In recent weeks, some fans have expressed concern for the singer’s well-being. The chatter resulted in Justin’s rep issuing a statement on Sunday, February 23, slamming any rumors that the Grammy winner could be using drugs.
The rep claimed the chatter about Justin’s mental health “shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”
In a statement to TMZ, Justin’s rep added the past year has been “very transformative” for the singer, who “ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
An insider told Us that Justin, 30, is less focused on the online chatter and more interested in being the best father to his 6-month-old son, Jack.
“He is a really great dad to Jack,” the source shared with Us, “and is very protective over him.”

Us has reached out to Justin and Hailey’s reps for comment.
Before Justin celebrates his 31st birthday on March 1, another source previously told Usthat the singer is enjoying this chapter of his life as a parent and “happier than he’s been in a long time.”
The insider added that “there’s no breakdown” and Justin “just really doesn’t care what people think.”
Justin initially sparked concern in January when loyal fans noticed he was no longer following his wife on Instagram. After the alleged social media activity made headlines, Justin set the record straight via his Instagram Story. “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he claimed. “S— is getting suss out here.”
In the weeks since, Justin has been spotted out and about in sweats and was even spotted leaving a spa shirtless.
“He knows he looks strange leaving spas shirtless, but it’s just him,” an insider previously told Us. “And after the rumors he’s doing it out of spite now, he’s just being himself and won’t create a squeaky clean image just because the public wants him to.”
Over the weekend, however, Justin appeared in good spirits as he played in the Skate For LA Strong game at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. The celebrity-filled hockey game served as a fundraising effort to benefit the LA Fire Relief Fund.

If you want to date Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Zaya Wade, proceed with a little bit of caution.
“The people I’ve dated have all been afraid of him in the first interaction,” Zaya, 17, shared with Seventeen in an interview published Monday, February 24. “He’s gigantic and he has this deep, booming voice.”
But before any potential suitors avoid shooting their shot, Zaya admits he’s not as scary as some may think.
“The facade only lasts for so long and you actually see his real personality,” she said. “He’s a teddy bear.”
Dwyane, 43, shares Zaya, as well as 23-year-old son Zaire, with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches. He’s also a father to son Xavier, whom he welcomed in 2013 with ex Aja Metoyer. Wade and wife Gabrielle Union share daughter Kaavia James, who was born in 2018.

As Zaya tries her best to focus on academics and figure out where she wants to go to college, the high school student can’t help but be a little interested in dating. Fortunately, Dwyane and Union, 52, are “really cool about it.”
“Me and my stepmom love to dish the dirt and tap into the high school gossip,” Zaya said. “She gets excited for me when I’m like, ‘Oh, I like this person.”
While Dwyane “tries to scare any person I have interest in,” Zaya said she appreciates that both her dad and stepmom want to meet the people she has eyes for.
What she can’t always get behind are Dwyane and Union’s social media posts.
Alex G. Harper for Seventeen
“OK, with my stepmom, it’s the dances she posts,” Zaya said. “She does them tastefully, but I want to text her so badly and be like, ‘Girl.’”
As for Dwyane, Zaya can’t help but wonder if he really has to showcase all of his fashion choices on Instagram.
“My dad, at the end of the day, he is a man. He’s just always going to give man and honestly, as an entire gender, they embarrass me,” Zaya joked. “So when my dad shows up to a party and he’s wearing a suit and he has no undershirt on, it’s like, ‘What are you doing?’ And when he posts on his Instagram and he’s fully shirtless, I’m like, ‘No. No. No. You have children on this app.’”
All jokes aside, Zaya remains grateful for her dad’s support for the LGBTQ+ community, especially after she came out as transgender.
“Honestly, him being raised in a traditional Black household in Chicago…the culture there isn’t very queer-friendly,” she said. “I hope that it will continue to inspire people to allow themselves to learn and understand queerness before bashing it.”
Grammy-winning singer Roberta Flack, whose work includes “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” and “Killing Me Softly With His Song,” has died.
A representative for Flack confirmed her passing to NBC News on Monday, February 24. She was 88.
While a cause of death has yet to be revealed, a representative announced in November 2022 that Flack had ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and could no longer sing.
According to the Mayo Clinic, ALS often begins with muscle twitching and weakness in an arm or leg, trouble swallowing or slurred speech. Eventually, ALS affects control of the muscles needed to move, speak, eat and breathe. There is no cure for this fatal disease.
“Miss Flack plans to stay active in her musical and creative pursuits,” Flack’s rep said in a statement in November 2022. “Her fortitude and joyful embrace of music that lifted her from modest circumstances to the international spotlight remain vibrant and inspired.”
During her career, Flack made history when she became the first artist to win the Grammy for Record of the Year in two consecutive years. She won in 1973 for “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” and in 1974 for “Killing Me Softly With His Song.”

2023 marked 50 years since the release of Flack’s most famous album, Killing Me Softly. Rolling Stone later named Flack’s version of “Killing Me Softly With His Song” to its list of the 500 greatest songs of all time.
Flack’s career in the music industry, however, wasn’t filled with just highs. A few years after signing with Atlantic, Flack’s records were not selling well.
She received a big break, however, when Clint Eastwood chose “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” for the soundtrack of his directorial debut, Play Misty For Me. The song became the biggest hit of 1972.
Away from the stage, Flack — who was a former public school music teacher — founded the Roberta Flack School of Music at the Hyde Leadership Charter School in the Bronx, “providing an innovative and inspiring music education program to underprivileged students free of charge.”
In January 2023, she also released a children’s book titled The Green Piano: How Little Me Found Music. The autobiographical picture book recounted her childhood in a Virginia home surrounded by music, faith and love.
When asked to share the secret to her long career in the music industry, Flack credited being authentic.
“I arrange my songs — both musically and thought-by-thought — to tell stories that move people to love and learn about who they are at their deepest levels,” she told Closer in 2020. “‘The First Time … ’ is timeless because seeing a person we love for the first time is an experience that always has been, and always will be.”
The Voice is on the hunt for the best undiscovered singers in the country.
Season 27 of NBC’s hit reality competition show returned in January and coaches Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, John Legend and Adam Levine didn’t waste any time building their teams in the blind auditions.
Despite a five-year hiatus from the show, Adam, 45, didn’t hesitate to turn his red hair when he heard a talented and unforgettable voice.
“I wouldn’t say I was nervous, but I was definitely curious to see and feel what it was going to be like,” the Maroon 5 frontman told NBC before the season began. “It’s been a while since I’ve been on and I honestly thought maybe it was time. I just thought I’d come back and give it another chance.”
Look at the stars; look how they shine for Britton. After missing a previous season of The Voice because his high school baseball team made it to the championships, Britton made it to the stage and earned a four-chair turn from the judges.
“There was definitely something in your voice that reminded me a little bit of how I do it,” Adam told the 21-year-old Texas native. “I just felt, like, an instant connection with you. I pushed really early because I felt this kid is going to be special and I was right.” Britton ultimately chose Team Adam.
Bryson Battle – Donny Hathaway’s ‘A Song for You’
Within seconds of covering “A Song for You,” Bryson wowed each of the judges with his range and tone. “You might have the greatest voice I’ve ever heard in my life,” Michael said. “I sing that song every night in my shows, and I’ve never sung it that good.”
The North Carolina native ultimately picked Team John as he moved toward the battle rounds.
Grace-Miller Moody – Maroon 5’s ‘Sunday Morning’
It takes a brave singer to appear on The Voice and sing a classic Maroon 5 hit in front of the band’s lead singer. But when Grace-Miller took the stage, she quickly received a four-chair turn thanks to her unique rendition of “Sunday Morning.”
“Forget the song,” Adam said. “I know it’s mine. I know you have great taste in music. All of that’s fantastic. … I can definitely help you get to where you want to go. The potential is limitless.”
In just two short weeks, Ethan’s audition received more than one million views on YouTube. His take on “Northern Attitude” quickly earned him a four-chair turn and praise from Kelsea.
“This is the first time I felt like I was turning for an artist like I’m at your show,” she said. “I love Noah. I have a song out with Noah right now [and] I’m a fan of you.” Despite the country singer’s persuasive argument, Ethan chose Team Adam.
RENZO – Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ‘Simple Man’
Some music fans may have recognized RENZO from when he made the Top 10 on American Idol seven years ago. At that time, he auditioned with his full name, Dennis Lorenzo.
While appearing on The Voice, RENZO picked Team John after hearing a compelling argument from the Grammy winner. “The only award I want to win with you is The Voice,” Legend said. “And then watch you go win a bunch of Grammys on your own.”
During week 4 of the Battle Rounds, Lucia received a four-chair turn from the judges thanks to her unforgettable cover. Kelsea called her a “magical human being,” while John made it clear that “all of us would love to coach you.”
Ultimately, it was Adam comparing Lucia to Brandi Carlile that may have secured his team one of the most talented singers of the season.
“This city and the people in it have been put through the wringer. Our most attractive tables are right over there,” she said before pointing to several tables filled with Los Angeles firefighters. “Words won’t do it. Invitations to these events won’t do it, and as a diagnosed people pleaser, I really need to know what will do it because not knowing is very very hard for me.”
What Bell did know was she had a duty to help run a show filled with must-see acceptance speeches and a few surprise wins. Keep reading to see the best and worst moments from the 2025 SAG Awards:
Best Opening Moment: Jean Smart
Although Bell found a creative way to get a Frozen song stuck in our heads again thanks to her unique rendition of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman,” it was Smart’s opening sketch that earned big laughs from viewers at home.
While channeling Deborah Vance from Hacks, Smart learned that she had been fired from hosting the 2025 SAG Awards because she hadn’t paid her dues in years. At the end of the segment, she’s offered to take “The Substance” before Bell takes control as host.
Best, Most Unpredictable Acceptance Speech: Kieran Culkin
Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images
After receiving the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in A Real Pain, Culkin playfully took a shot at The Brutalist star Adrien Brody in his wide-ranging speech.
“I don’t think there’s any way anyone can hold this for 45 seconds. Which is the allotted time, Adrien Brody, 45 seconds,” Culkin said before acknowledging there was no need for the joke. “There was no reason to take that shot. I love you, it’s a joke. You take your time. Lord knows I will because I didn’t think of anything.”
With awards season coming to an end, some may think they know who’s going to win based on the many trophy-fests beforehand. SAG-AFTRA voters, however, reminded fans to expect the unexpected.
A Complete Unknown’s Timothée Chalamet and Martin Short winning Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in film and TV roles, respectively, was a plot twist some fans didn’t see coming. Short’s good luck continued when Only Murders in the Building won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. “We never win,” Selena Gomez shared during her speech. “This is weird.”
And with the 2025 Oscars just one week away, Conclave’s shocking win for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture may just be the boost they need.
Best Reunion: All of Them!
Netflix
The Good Place stars Ted Danson and William Jackson Harper paid tribute to the sexy tennis movie Challengerswhen they engaged in their own jostling love triangle as they competed for former castmate Bell’s attention.
“This is not a challenge,” Bell proclaimed before her former costars Danson and Jackson Harper playfully disagreed and leaned in for a mock kiss.
The reunions kept coming throughout the night as cast members from New Girl, Gossip Girl, X-Files and more found themselves in the same room at the same time.
Best Unexpected Tribute: ‘Law & Order’
Peter Kramer/NBC
While Mariska Hargitay’s longtime drama series was not nominated for an award, the SAG Awards couldn’t help but acknowledge just how many major stars have had the opportunity to have early-career guest star roles on Law & Order and its famous spinoffs.
“In the television industry, detective-based shows are considered especially beloved,” Hargitay said in a pretaped segment. “In the Law & Order universe, these dedicated actors that bring these stories to life are members of an elite squad known as the guest stars.”
Old footage of then-unknown Bradley Cooper, Viola Davis, Sarah Paulson, Kerry Washington, Sabrina Carpenter and other stars began to play with clips of their small but unforgettable roles.
Worst: Flubbed Best Picture Nominees’ Intros
We’re the first to acknowledge that no actor is perfect. But as casts from various Best Picture nominees delivered a snippet of their highly regarded film of the year, we wondered if they had any time to rehearse?
As the cast from A Complete Unknown celebrated their film, Chalamet wasn’t sure what to read and when to begin. “We should have done a rehearsal,” he joked.
In comparison, the cast of Anora couldn’t help but giggle through a majority of their speech. Anything can happen when a show is live.
Worst Struggle: Heavy Trophies
Based on several reactions from award-winning actors, the SAG Award trophy isn’t the lightest prize to hold during a night of celebrating. According to Kulkin, his award was “incredibly heavy” and later joked that the “heaviest of all awards is the one given by actors.”
After receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Fonda delivered one of her signature speeches by grabbing the microphone and pleading with viewers to practice empathy and truth in a changing world.
At one point in her speech, viewers could hear a muffle from her microphone. At a separate moment, the sounds of a voice-over began playing. Fortunately, Fonda took it in stride by responding, “And I can conjure up voices!”
Worst Trigger: Jamie Lee Curtis’ COVID-19 Confession
Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images
Just when we thought we were healed from the coronavirus pandemic, Curtis delivered a shout-out to the actor who got her sick at a previous award show. What came next was a reminder of a season filled with masks, social distancing and Zooms.
“And the Actor goes to…the man who gave me COVID at the Golden Globes,” she said. Colin Farrell.”
Farrell replied, “Guilty as charged. But Brendan Gleeson f—ing gave it to me! So I was just spreading the love.”
Worst Absence: So Many Winners
We know an actor’s schedule is very busy, but there were multiple awards handed out where the main stars weren’t present to accept. Although she won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series thanks to her role in Hacks, Smart was not in attendance because she was filming another project.
In addition, when Only Murders in the Building won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, Short and Steve Martin weren’t present.
“Marty and Steve aren’t here because they don’t really care, but I don’t know what to say,” Gomez said in her speech. “Thank you Marty and Steve for helping raise me.”
The cast of A Complete Unknown received a major win at the 2025 SAG Awards just one week before the 2025 Oscars.
The cast of the Bob Dylan biopic came together at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 23, to celebrate the film’s success. All eyes were on Timothée Chalamet as he was hoping to win big in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role category thanks to his transformation into Dylan, 83.
At the live awards ceremony, Chalamet, 29, went up against The Brutalist’s Adrien Brody, Queer’s Daniel Craig, Sing Sing’s Colman Domingo and Conclave’s Ralph Fiennes. In a surprise turn of events, he received the award from his peers and nobody was more excited than his costars.
“The truth is, I’m really in pursuit of greatness,” Chalamet shared during his acceptance speech. “I know people don’t usually talk like that. I want to be one of the greats. I’m inspired by the greats. I’m inspired by the greats here too tonight.”
The cast also celebrated Edward Norton’s nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role thanks to his portrayal of singer Pete Seeger. In addition, actress Monica Barbaro received recognition in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role category for her take on singer Joan Baez.
Unfortunately, Norton lost to A Real Pain‘s Kieran Culkin while Barbaro lost to Emilia Pérez‘s Zoe Saldaña.

Perhaps the greatest honor of the night was A Complete Unknown receiving a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, where they were up against Anora, Conclave, Emilia Pérez and Wicked. While Conclave ended up being the big winner, director James Mangold remains proud of the film he made.
“We worked together on this movie for almost six years,”Mangold told Variety in an interview published February 14. “We got ready to shoot it three times — knocked down by COVID and industry strikes. And yet, that time between meeting and finishing it proved to be such a blessing.”
Before awards season officially kicked off in January, Dylan weighed in on A Complete Unknown. In a social media post, the legendary musician expressed support for the project.
Everett Collection
“There’s a movie about me opening soon called A Complete Unknown (what a title!). Timothee Chalamet is starring in the lead role,” Dylan wrote via X in December 2024 “Timmy’s a brilliant actor so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me. Or a younger me. Or some other me.”
While it’s unclear if Dylan has seen the film, his acknowledgement meant the world to Chalamet, who replied to the post by writing, “Floored. I am so grateful. Thank you Bob.”
With excitement already building for the 2025 Oscars — where A Complete Unknown could walk away with several more trophies including Best Picture and Best Director— Mangold, 61, said he is filled with gratitude as he looks forward to what is ahead.
“I adore making movies,” he said. “And I’m just looking forward to the next one.”
Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman.Emma McIntyre/WireImage
Adrien Brody’s memorable award season isn’t complete without his supportive girlfriend, Georgina Chapman,by his side.
Before the winners were announced at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, February 22, the couple walked the red carpet outside the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
Brody, 51, looked handsome as ever in a classic all-black Louis Vuitton tuxedo and matching black bow-tie. Meanwhile, Chapman, 48, turned heads for all the right reasons as she stepped out in a fierce black dress from Marchesa with a must-see diamond bracelet and show-stopping earrings from Lorraine Schwartz.
The actor is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role alongside A Complete Unknown’s Timothée Chalamet, Queer’s Daniel Craig, Sing Sing’s Colman Domingo and Conclave’s Ralph Fiennes.
In the film, Brody plays a Holocaust survivor who makes his way to the United States to kick-start his dream after World War II.
Taylor Hill/FilmMagic
“There was just no room for error,” Brody told Variety about the 34-day shoot. “And it’s so hard to make magic when you’re up against it all the time, and your filmmaker’s up against it all the time. It just adds so much pressure. Just debilitatingly exhausting. It’s just really excruciating, but worth the sacrifice.”
According to the publication, the sacrifice included giving up personal time with his girlfriend. “I’m not going to delve into it,” he shared, “so let’s skip it.”
Fortunately, the pair appear to be making up for any lost time together during awards season. During the 2025 Golden Globes, Brody and Chapman walked the red carpet together and shared a sweet kiss when before he took the stage to accept the award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama for his performance in The Brutalist.
“To my beautiful and amazing partner, Georgina,” he said at the time. “Your generosity of spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity is a daily reminder of how to be, I would not be standing here before you if it wasn’t for you. There was a time not too long ago where I thought this might not be afforded to me again, so thank you.”

Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus’ secret to a long, lasting marriage may just be as simple as a three-letter word.
“Keep it fun,” Broadus, 53, exclusively shared with Us Weekly at the Choc Factory Cosmetics launch event on Saturday, February 15. “Keep it fun to where, you know, he’s going on the road a lot, so we do have time to miss each other, but just keep it fun and business.”
The couple met as teenagers when they both attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California. They went to prom together in 1989 and tied the knot eight years later.
During their marriage, Snoop, 53, and Broadus welcomed three kids together: sons Cordé, 30, and Cordell, 27, and daughter Cori, 25. The Voice coach also has a son named Julian, 26, with Laurie Helmond.
Even after more than 27 years of marriage, Broadus said the pair are still pulling off romantic gestures. Recently, Snoop gifted his wife a brand-new watch while Broadus got some presents from Louis Vuitton just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Tom Cisneros
If there’s one thing Broadus hopes her kids take away from her love story, it’s to persevere during the highs and the lows.
“Just hold each other down,” she told Us at Lucid Studios in Beverly Hills. “That’s what it’s all about. Just stick it out and be there together. You may have ups and downs, but we gotta stick it through. We family, you know?”
Cori has been admiring her parents’ relationship for many years. As she prepares to finalize a wedding and welcome her first baby with fiancé Wayne Deuce, the businesswoman says she’s remembering some key advice from her mom.
“No matter what happens, stick together, have each other’s back,” Cori told Us. “It’s not gonna always be ice cream and cake. There’s gonna be problems. There’s going to be bumps in the road, but as long as you guys can get through it, that’s all that matters.”
Currently, Cori and Deuce are working together to launch their new self-care line named Choc Factory Cosmetics. From lip glosses to lip masks, the items help women of all backgrounds embrace their natural beauty.
“I think this brand, to make it short and sweet, is really just a brand where we make people feel comfortable and feel like they have a space to fit in,” Cori told Us at her launch event featuring ilios lighting. “I feel like with society and their beauty standards, it’s very high and I feel like it’s very unrealistic. We’re giving them a realistic space to be [their] natural self.”
As much as Jeremiah Brent loves his husband, Nate Berkus, quality time doesn’t have to include filming another show together.
“We did it for so long. I need a break,” Brent, 40, exclusively told Us Weekly when partnering with Almond Breeze. “I see him every day. I mean, I would do anything with him, but to be honest with you, doing this show, Queer Eye, has changed my life.”
The interior designer said working with Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan van Ness and Karamo Brown has had a “huge impact on me.”
“It’s changed who I am as a father and as a husband, as a member of the queer community,” he explained to Us. “So I’m happy doing this right now.”
Married since 2014, Berkus, 53, and Brent share two children: daughter Poppy, 9 and son Oskar, 6. The pair previously worked together on hit reality shows including Nate and Jeremiah Home Project and Nate and Jeremiah: Save My House.
“I love Nate more now than I did from the day I met him,” Brent said about his husband. “I think the beautiful thing about our relationship and something we work really hard to protect is the idea of growing together while we both grow individually. It’s a thing that a lot of married couples have to navigate and it’s hard, but we both really respect each other.”

The founder of Jeremiah Brent Design said Berkus remains “my favorite person in the world” and is confident he would say the same thing.
“I love doing life with him,” he added. “It’s never boring.”
While the pair love their careers centered on interior design, both Berkus and Brent also savor every moment as parents to their two kids.
While Poppy and Oskar “challenge” the couple every day, it’s safe to say Brent wouldn’t want life any other way.
“I don’t know truly why we got so lucky with the kids we have and they are so good and so smart and so kind,” he told Us. “We’ve got two rules in our house, which is kindness and honesty.”
Another unofficial rule Brent may have in his house is to always have Almond Breeze in the kitchen. The designer teamed up with the brand to highlight the shelf-stable Almond milk varieties, including Unsweetened Vanilla and Unsweetened Original.
The brand will also be running a sweepstakes to offer a pantry makeover with Brent for one lucky winner.
“It’s the leading shelf-stable almond milk, which is really important, especially as a parent who’s always on the go,” Brent said. “The fact that I can put something in my pantry and not be scared that it’s going to be bad in two days, let alone a couple months, is wild and amazing. It never lasts that long for the record, but it’s good to know that it could.”
