The latter app premiered in June with a live Apple exec interview in 3D to mark the occasion. Today Theater 2 has landed, and with it comes the best new thing I’ve experienced on Apple Vision Pro.

My favorite Mac accessory is infinitely more comfortable than other peripherals

At the start of this year, I told my doctor about experiencing constant severe wrist pain since the prior summer. A few weeks later I was connected to a machine with gentle shocks to complete a nerve conduction study. As expected, the cause was moderate carpal tunnel syndrome.

That prompted me to give up the trackpad and find the I’d bought a couple years before. Its fixed position on the desk and two upright angle choices made it infinitely more comfortable to use than a traditional mouse or trackpad.

Apple rumored to work with Broadcom on first server chip for AI, putting conversational Siri timeline in focus

In a heavily paywalled article, The Information reports that Apple is partnering with Broadcom to develop a new AI chip specifically designed for server use. Apple currently runs Apple Intelligence through its M-series chips on its servers through a system known as Private Cloud Compute. The distinction, according to the report, is that the new chip expected as soon as 2026, will be Apple’s first server chip specifically designed for AI tasks.
