Android 15 QPR2 rolling out with March security update

With the March 2025 security patch, Google is rolling out the stable Android 15 QPR2 update and a Pixel (Feature) Drop for the 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Tablet, Fold, 8, 8 Pro, 8a, 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold. This is the last major update to Android 15 and has some notable changes/additions.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to carry a slightly bigger battery

Manufacturers are making improvements in battery capacity at a higher rate than we’ve seen in the past few years, with many considering the switch to silicon-carbon. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 doesn’t seem to be a part of that trend, with a small improvement in battery capacity that isn’t enough to get excited about.

Nothing Phone (3a) series gets 6 years of updates, but only 3 Android OS upgrades

The Nothing Phone (3a) series has gone official, and with it, Nothing promises an extended 6 years of updates, the longest it has offered to date. This promise is slightly different than we’ve been seeing from other brands, though, as the company only promises 3 years of Android upgrades over that 6-year span.
