Here’s how Apple plans to fix Siri in iOS 19

It goes without saying, Apple’s approach to developing its AI-infused version of Siri has gone very wrong in many ways. Most of the features intended to ship alongside iOS 18 haven’t yet arrived, despite being 10 months past the initial unveiling of iOS 18. Apple has even officially confirmed the delayed launch, stating that the features would launch “in the coming year.”

However, according to numerous reports – Apple has a strategy to bounce back with iOS 19. Here’s how.

Land Rover brought CarPlay to 15-year-old Range Rovers with ‘period‑correct hardware’

Surprisingly, this $65 Apple Watch clone is not terrible: The WITHit Giga

I thought my days of wearing a smartwatch were over, after making the switch to dumb watches and relying instead on a smart ring, but the chance to try out a $65 Apple Watch clone proved too intriguing to refuse!

I fully expected it to be pretty terrible. But while I wouldn’t recommend buying the WithIt Giga instead of an Apple Watch, I was actually quite pleasantly surprised …

iOS 18.5 may bring two new features not yet revealed

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, or IC3 for short. Since its inception in 2000, the organization has released an annual report detailing trends based on the thousands of cybercrime complaints it receives daily from victims. This week, the FBI released its 2024 Internet Crime Report, revealing a record $16.6 billion in reported losses—a 33% increase and “a new record for losses reported to IC3.”

If there’s one thing this report highlights best, it’s that humans are more vulnerable than machines.

By 2027, Apple to import all iPhones sold in the US from India, rather than China

In the wake of the recent tariffs debacle, both Bloomberg and The Financial Times are reporting that Apple aims to manufacture import almost all of its iPhones sold in the United States from India, rather than China, by the end of next year.

This means Apple would need India to make more than 60 million phones a year, in order to satisfy its domestic sales. Overall India iPhone assembly would have to approximately double to meet this target, to about 80 million per year.
